Dr. Young lately has been working the esthetics of my teeth. He carefully guided me along and wrote out a simple tx plan. I had done enough damage (or neglect) my upper front teeth. Lllllll Dr. Youngj sees an opportunity to help when we are looking at a flaw or percieved flaw. When he traced on regular paper what my upper grille would loosk like. I was incredulous yet there I was staring at what I could look like.. over the next few months. I have a fresh, clean smile thanks to Dr Young. He really is an highly skilled artist/technician. Dr. Young runs a busy practice and Ive always able to get an appointment. From what Ive seeen and how he’s been with me, Id say he knows hes got aa dynamic, thoughtful jpractice and his patients love hiim. Hes got the latest tech and his practice it thriving. I have to say somethibg about his assisstants: it seems like there are 10 of them but there are 6 I think. These young women are so well trained that they really make Young Dental something specials. You can purt your confidence in them. Five Stars!

Dr. Young’s office is awesome! Had to book a last minute emergency visit and they took care of me right away. I’m so grateful to have found them a few years ago because they’ve truly helped me through so much. From wisdom teeth extractions, to implants, to clear correct (Invisalign), and now to literal last minute emergency visits. My insurance ran out about a month ago but I’d rather keep going to them and pay out of pocket while my new insurance kicks in than to take a risk somewhere else. Recommend to anyone I know!!

Dr. Young saw me immediately after I felt severe pain in one of my lower teeth. I called around noon and the practice was able to see me around 3:20 PM. Once the problem was pinpointed, Dr. Young was able to try for a root canal (which ultimately was unsuccessful) and then removed the tooth entirely. I was there until close to 7 PM as was Dr. Young and one of his assistants. I really appreciated the responsiveness of Dr. Young and his staff.

I haven't been to the dentist in years, due to painful traumatic childhood experiences. I was extremely nervous heading in to my first appointment. I had an extremely painful toothache that needed to be attended to. To cut the long story short, the entire staff, from the front desk to the Doctors were amazing!! They explained everything in detail so I could understand. They were cheerful, supportive and made me feel at home! They attended to me as soon as they could, I had the best treatment possible! I walked out of the clinic absolutely painful free with a smile. I am now waiting to go back in for a second appointment to complete the treatment! The place overall has a factory feel to it. I prefer a dental office that is smaller and more personalized.

Please don't read this review unless you are in search of one of the best dental care groups west of New York City. Let me preface my experience with the fact that I hate dental treatments. Well, Dr. Young and his team of dental professionals have totally changed my opinion. The staff at Young Dental Group provide a welcoming environment and their professionalism and attention to detail is impressive. I was amazed that I experienced virtually pain-free and caring treatment considering I presented them with a mouthful of decades of dental neglect. The dental care and personal attention I received was an impressively high standard of excellence. And when you meet Dr. Young, you immediately understand that his staff reflects the high standards that he has established for his practice and approach to dental care. Dr. Young is personable, caring, professional, attentive to details, and interested in the patient's well being. The staff at Young Dental Group totally embody this level of care. I have several more visits for implants an oral care, and can say with confidence that the Young Dental Group stands apart as one of the best. I would unequivocally provide them with my highest recommendations.

My nurse today said why my assigned doctor is not there because still on maternity leave. They let me know ahead of time it will be a different doctor next time. I thought it was nice follow up. Overall, I do not recommend this dental clinic. I came in twice for a full cleaning with x-ray on 12/15, and for a follow-up filling this morning on 1/5. Although the front desk were very "fast/efficient" to book me, the general practice lacked the competency you would expect from a professional Dentistry. The doctors seem very young, no pun intended.. with little experience. Most likely fresh out of Dental School. My doctor, while going over my X-ray results could not elaborate on a potential issue she found with my crown, and recommend I consult with Dr Young (Lead Doctor I assume) who was nowhere to be found on both days. She kept saying "there could be problems here", and left it at that. I do not have the confidence she actually knew what she was talking about. The front desk informed they will follow up with me for a consultation with Dr Young, but never did. As of now, I do not know the state of my crown (is it seated correctly?. Should it be replaced?). These questions should have been addressed on the first day, but after the second appointment I still left with questions unanswered. On a positive note, my teeth were actually cleaned and the filling procedure was complete. However, i'll need to visit another Dental Clinic for a second opinion. If you're looking for a competent team of Doctors, I would look elsewhere. This clinic is "good enough", but the attention to detail, quality of service, and competency you would expect from a team of professionals is not here. 2/5 Stars.

At Dr Young's clinic, I have had by far the best dental patient experience, if not the best healthcare experience in general. Every person at the clinic provides exceptional care and service. The front desk staff and office managers are highly competent and very easy to work with; they also have a great text message system for patients to make scheduling changes and ask valid medical questions. The clinic itself is very clean and organized, with advanced technology and equipment. For regular cleanings and fillings, I have worked with 3 of the staff dentists, all of whom are very knowledgeable, kind and go out of their way to be friendly and approachable. I have worked with Dr Young himself for removal of all 4 wisdom teeth; Dr Young is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and has a very patient and calm demeanor. Unlike some dental offices that are more business-oriented, Dr Young's clinic is never pushy to sell services or products, but are very patient-centered and provide consultation truly based on their needs. My wisdom teeth were trending to push the neighboring molars, but Dr Young never pushed me to take them out, but instead let me wait for 5 years till they might truly impact the neighboring teeth to remove them. For two weeks after the surgery, Dr Young was available directly on text, and would respond promptly himself to my questions; he even proactively reached out to check on me, and also wrote a rush prescription on a Friday late afternoon. I have complete trust in Dr Young and his staff, and have been going to his clinic for 7 years now. Even after I moved away from SF to the east bay during the pandemic, I am still willing to sit through Bay Bridge traffic each way to visit his office.

I recently underwent my second root canal performed by Dr. Young, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. It has been a week since the procedure, and I have not experienced any discomfort. I am truly grateful to Dr. Young for his exceptional skills and patience, especially as I interrupted the operation a couple of times due to sharp pain from my knee joints. Dr. Young's understanding and compassion made the process much more manageable. I'd also like to highlight Dr. Young's kindness beyond the dental chair. After the procedure, he took the time to walk me down when I decided to take an Uber home. It's evident that Dr. Young is not only a highly skilled dentist but also a wonderful human being. I had a terrible experience with the admin staff and I used to work here so I know better. I was turned away from having options for my root canal. The only option I was given was to do an implant and was not inconsiderate with my health as well such as the risk factors of getting an implant. Also, my husband has a very bad experience by having a filling done that has been chipped 3x less than 6 months. Very unacceptable. Also, dr young told me that he won’t do a root canal as an option and will only do an implant as the ONLY option when I have a medical concern. The staff is very pushy, inconsiderate and not understanding. Also edit for my husbands review as it was being deleted. Unfortunately even Dr. Young is not doing a great job with their staff. We receive texts before business hours and messages that are passive aggressive and overall this has been a bad ending experience. They do small work to push for more. For example. I had 2 fillings redone on the same tooth and was asked to come for a 3rd time. They do bad work on fillings to push for a crown and or braces/retainers as it was for me. For my wife, Dr. Young recommend an implant when only a root canal was needed when we seek out other doctors. She even told her she can go somewhere else and would not do any other procedure but an implant. When I spoke to Dr. Young himself on the phone I got the I can’t see nothing and on my end. He doesn’t really care about you. The photo attached: That is how Dr. Young talks. He always says he doesn’t know and I can’t see and we can just cancel. After doing many procedures their exit out is to cancel. Other photo: “ You can probably find someone that will.” go somewhere else and we did and only a root canal was needed and not an implant. My wife is 26. No dentist should recommend an implant at that age. A root canal fixed it.

I booked an online appt and the front staff didn't even make a record of it. not only that, the billing department harasses you and will never be able to get ahold of. you have to go in person and pay even if they're wrong to get you to leave you tf alone. the front office staff is entirely clueless as to how appointments and insurance work. overcharge. the dentist team is fine. but the office staff makes this place unimaginably bad. will not come back again, ever, after the last 2 years of worsening service.

I am disappointed this place was referred by my friend and he made me sure I would be happy. I was waiting 15 mins on dental unit. And in the end they offered me two most expensive procedures no alternative and one of them is crown which is not recommended by my own dentist in Canada. The assistant couldn’t understand English very well and I asked her to take xray from my up tooth because it’s sensitive. My experience in Canada is totally different than here they start with cleaning and full 3D xray then going to next step.

I had a tremendous amount of fear and stress leading up to my wisdom teeth extraction over at this practice. For years I didn’t have dental insurance and along with poor dental hygiene on my part lead to a lot of pain for my gums and teeth. The way Doctor Young and his team handled my operation from the consultation, medication and recovery lead to a smooth easy process. I opted for the oral conscious sedation and was very relaxed throughout the procedure. I was in excellent hands and am glad this is where I got it done.

I’ve had 3 different types of services at this office now. The third was where it w fell short. 1) I went in to get all of wisdom teeth removed as a new patient. The intake portion was quick, easy, and they were able to get the work done in 2 weeks. Dr. had fantastic bedside manners and made sure I felt comfortable the whole time. 2) I went in 2 routine cleanings at this point. The Dr.s addressed my questions and were careful about not poking my gum line (would happen at my old dentist). Highly recommend for this service. 3)All the times I went into the office, I’ve gotten suggestions to get a night guard. I grind my teeth unconsciously in my sleep so I thought it was a good option. They recommended the comfort3D splint so I went with their recommendation, but they didn’t have a model in the office and directed me to the website. I trusted their judgement and the website model looked great. When I got the night guard back I had so many issues. The first time, the guard was literally 5mm thick. I couldn’t close my mouth sleeping and started snoring too. The Dr. said I could tape my mouth shut if it’s an issue but it’ll be a reoccurring taping for basically the rest of my life— not an option. The second time, they tried to put another patient’s night guard into my mouth…. I told the assistant it wasn’t mine because I recognize my bite with and teeth print after wearing a clear retainer in my mouth for the past 12 years, but she still put it in my mouth. As for the night guard, they shaved it down marginally where I couldn’t tell the difference. The third and final time, I had spoken to the Dr. that I wanted an exact replica of my clear braces retainer and brought it in. They said it was doable. They adjusted it to about 3mm, which was significantly better but not good enough because I asked for thinner at 1.5-2mm (still mouth can’t close, will snore). All this time, they (either doctor or lab) didn’t communicate with me of the issues with trying to get the night guard down to my specific specifications. 6 trips to the office and $600 dollars later, I’m left with a piece of plastic that I can’t even use.

I have been with Young Dental for 3 years and all my dentists and staff are very nice and skilled. I even referred my colleagues here. However, the front desk is poorly managed and their billing department is slow and unresponsive. I had a overcharge issue which caused by one payment $700 I made was not showing up on my account and I waited months and finally their office manager helped me to resolve the issue. They need to improve the front desk staff work quality to make sure each payment that their customers made is correctly reflected on their system. It’s really tiring to call their billing department (which is unfortunately very unreachable) to sort things out. Unless you want to go through the hassle of making 6 calls throughout 3 months to resolve a overcharge billing issue, I would suggest you stay away or be careful when making every payment.

The only thing I think could be improved is if they used warm water instead of cold water for the cleanings. Cold water hitting sensitive gums can be more jarring and than the actual cleaning itself.

Just completed my 6 month cleaning and checkup and as always it was complete and well appreciated. Such a professional and personal touch was reassuring now to know everything was clean and ok. After the thorough cleaning and polishing, Dr. Young came in to check everything over and make sure nothing was overlooked. I decided on having him fit me for a custom mouthpiece, uppers and lowers which he does electronically, so I can keep everything in the best of condition while I sleep. Went for my first appointment last week and had a great experience! I previously went to Zen Dental and didn't love the offerings at their practice. I knew I had two cavities I needed to have filled, so I made a preliminary appointment with Young Dental so I could get them handled. Check in was easy, and was brought into the back quite quickly. Dr. Chang was very friendly and even had time to take care of the cavities that day! The only thing that kept this from 5 stars is there were some issues getting my x-rays from my previous dentist downloaded, so I did end up waiting in the chair for about 30 minutes while they figured this out and the woman who took photos of my teeth when I first came in wasn't the most welcoming. Other than that, great experience and great staff!

They have great skills, and all nurses are kind. That’s why it deserves me to drive more than 1 hour every time to here to take care my teeth. But I had one bad experience that they cancel my appointment within 1 hour today, and the reason is that they didn’t receive my crown from lab at the time 2 hour before the appointment. It would be better if they can make sure the crown is received the day before the appointment and if not, notifying patients. I am right now on the highway, and this cancellation messed my all up.

I have been a long time client of Dr Young and finally come around to write a review. For over 15 years I trust him with my (bad) teeth. From root-canals, crowns, extractions, bridges & implants (8, yes 8...) I got it all. Each project was taken care of leaving me thinking: "Hm, that was not that bad after all" (yes, even implants). The staff tries always to be welcoming, & helpful. Especially Betty who walks you patiently through the "painful " part: treatment cost & plans :) They offer different payment options and even an in-house dental plan, which is kind of ground-braking I feel. Only once I went for a second option because of a co-workers recommendation. Not only was the cost for the treatment 2x higher but the entire experience assured me that I am in best hands with Dr Young already.

Onboarding Onboarding was too easy despite the level of productivity inside the office. As soon as I sat on the chair, various dental assistants warmly greeted me and made sure I was comfortable with every step leading to the teeth cleaning. Teeth Cleaning Dr Brian Chang had a calm demeanor but was firm on informing me of preventive measures moving forward. He was transparent about everything and even informed me how long the teeth cleaning would take (~10-15 minutes) and then it was done. Too easy. Checking Out Checking out was also easy—the dental assistant at the front desk informed me of the bill, was transparent about the costs, and worked with me to secure my next appointment. Ambiance Everything was clean, bright, and welcoming. Small waiting room, but waiting time was ~8 minutes on a Monday afternoon. Will return for sure.

After filling out everything online, I showed up to my appointment early in case I needed to deal with insurance etc. the receptionist told me everything was in order when I checked in. Wonderful clinic and very friendly staff. I found them on Yelp after three phone failures from other clinics. I needed to get rid of an acute toothache, but all clinics were already closing. I arrived at 5:30 pm, 1.5 hours before closing time. As a result, 3-4 people (assistant) and the head physician worked with me, who for my sake stayed at work until 21:30! The doctor successfully removed my nerve and cleaned the canal of the tooth. During the treatment, I could see photos and videos of my oral cavity on a large screen; In addition to the X-ray, I underwent a 3D scan of a diseased tooth. The professionalism of the doctor deserves special praise. I came for treatment with a swollen cheek, in the end they gave me the necessary antibiotics, and we all waited an hour for the medicine to work, even though the doctors' working hours were coming to an end. I was offered headphones with music (I chose the Chillout genre). I was given a prescription for an antibiotic and another appointment when my cheek would heal. Only the most positive impressions remained from the visit, they literally saved me in difficult times. Thanks to the clinic staff for their care and professionalism!

I love Young Dental!! Before finding them I hadn’t had so much as a cleaning for 10+ years (yikes). The office is super comfortable and all of the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I always leave feeling better than when I came in—definitely no “floss-shaming” or anything to be afraid of here. Dr. Sara seems almost like a friend? Is that weird to say about your dentist? They have headphones loaded with Spotify to drown out the sounds in your mouth with whatever music works for you, a godsend, but honestly it’s nice just to listen & nod in agreement to Dr. Sara too. I am so happy I found Dr. Young. It seems it is not easy to find a GOOD dentist AND takes my insurance. I needed a root canal and a replacement crown immediately as I was in severe pain. I called their office and I was in the next day. I was pretty nervous about the procedure but Dr. Young and Nick took such good care of me. It was a breeze. I had to get a dental implant because I had a baby tooth with no adult tooth under it and this was the second one I had to get (one with Dr. Young) and another doctor back in Texas. This was far and away so much easier than the first one with no pain and swelling and was done very quickly. If you need to get an implant, Dr. Young is the way to go!

Got my wisdom tooth out and it was so easy! I had a very traumatic experience with getting my bottom wisdom teeth out two years ago from a surgeon in the sunset- horribly painful. This time was a 180. I was sedated with Xanax and the procedure felt like it took 5 minutes. I got to play music and relax! Overall about 5 days later it’s healing well and I have a follow up next week. Highly recommend Dr. Young for wisdom tooth removal. A pro!

I normally don’t write reviews, but this really is the friendliest and most professional dental office I’ve ever been to. The welcome staff is nice and helpful and Dr. Sarah is the best. I’ve been twice for cleanings and both times she was sweet, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable about dental care. She also sent me off with my x-rays for my next dentist (since I'm sadly moving out town). With other dentists I normally would have to push for them to provide me my x-rays, so this gesture proved she genuinely cared about my teeth health. I will miss this place and Dr. Sarah!

Very friendly staff, made me feel welcomed and comfortable from the moment I walked in. The check in process was simple and quick, I waited less than 5 minutes in the lobby to be seeing for my appointment. I went in for a routine check up and cleaning. I was surprised at all the high tech x day equipment and great picture quality of all my teeth. I believe the dentist that took care of my cleaning and the review of what I needed done was Dr. Amanda Matsuhara, she was the best and did not make me feel like just another number, she asked a few personal questions and was very relatable. She did an excellent job and was very thorough with my cleaning and examining every tooth. The x ray technician I don’t recall her name but she was friendly and also did my polishing afterwards. The office overall seems to be manage really well, and everyone seems to work in a really good team. Can't emphasize enough - they deserve 5+ stars. I went in for a complex procedure this morning (coronectomy for partially impacted wisdom tooth and implant for an adjacent, fractured tooth). Dr Young performed my procedure. It was quicker and more thorough than originally planned for. 12 hours later, I feel minimal discomfort and no sign of the risks that Dr Young had described in detail to me during our detailed surgical consult. Dr Young and his team are straightforward, cost transparent, experienced, and well-wishing. I've also had the pleasure of being a patient with Dr. Mandy (an assoc. dentist), an experienced female hygenist from the office, and various other team members. Very sorry as I cannot recall all their names. They were introduced briefly before getting right down to business. I found all team members to be patient, responsive, and careful in providing general care tips. Office condition is also immaculate. Down to the smallest patient care details - like having a blanket for the patient during a long procedure in a cold room.

If I could give this dental practice 10 stars I would. I been going to them for about a year now and every time I go I am treated with courtesy and respect. I recently got 2 of my wisdom teeth removed and the next day I received a text from Dr. Young checking up on me. I had never experience that with another dentists and it was great! Whenever I had any questions about my recovery he answered right away and it was very comforting. I get my cleanings done every 6 months and I get their reminders (which is helpful when you are a forgetful person). They are always punctual and every staff member is great. There are two edits. I'm sitting here right now for a consultation. The place seems clean and professional. They are keeping me up-to-date and included in the process. However; thrice I have been told that a wait will take "a few minutes" and then I ended up waiting for 15-20 minutes. That includes the wait in the waiting room. If it is your first visit, I would budget 2 hours. Overall 3 stars not due to the wait but because of the misinformation. [EDIT] Post-Op after wisdom tooth extraction surgery. Positives: The surgery actually went well. They turn on spotify for you and I listened to a podcast. Once I entered the office, everything was smooth, easy, and very comfortable. Additionally, the staff is very responsive, proactive and courteous. So is Dr. Young. Negative: Young Dental SF forgot to call in my prescription so I had to call them at 6pm the night before and she had to scramble to get it ready. Additionally, there were two other medications: a steroid and an antibiotic that no one told me about. I still don't know what do they do. The antibiotic was suppose to have begun two days before the surgery. I viscerally remember the following conversation: "Can we still do the surgery tomorrow? Should we reschedule?" "Oh uh... yeah, yeah just take it tonight." "Are you... sure? Shouldn't you be asking a doctor?" "Oh yeah, you are right. Ok let me go ask." .... "He says it is OK, just start taking them tonight." Additionally, I wish they had given me the post-op instructions before the surgery. Fortunately I looked it up myself and prepared. One strange thing is that the post-op surgery instructions given by Young Dental SF says "do not drink through a straw for 24 hours." But she GAVE ME a straw and a protein drink which I promptly drank through. That's confusing and I got worried that I messed up my recovery. [EDIT2] I upgraded to a 4 star review because I am convinced that the story above was an anomaly. After the surgery the Doctor texted me and also allowed me to text him back to ask questions and get a reply honestly very fast, even on weekends. The post-op follow-up appointment had to be postponed for a long time due to COVID but I appreciate that the office went to great lengths to ensure safety in the community and in the office. Eventually I did have to go in to the office because there was something weird lodged in the gum of the extraction site (I had texted the doctor and made sure it was not serious). The appointment was swiftly set, I went in, I was able to meet the doctor within a reasonable window of the set time, he explained that it was just leftover debris that gets pushed out sometimes, and he promptly removed it.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! I am writing this review to warn others about the terrible dentist who installed an implant in my front tooth. I had the implant done just before COVID, and everything seemed to be going well at first. However, a few years later, its developed an infection around the implant. I called Dr. Young and he told me to fly to his office in San Francisco from Texas so he could take a look. I spent a week in Cali and lost a week of work, but the dentist was able to fix the infection. However, the implant is still not right. The metal part of the implant is visible, which is very noticeable because it is a front tooth. The dentist did not tell me that this could happen, and I am very unhappy with the results. I would strongly advise anyone considering going to this dentist to look elsewhere. He is not a good dentist and he does not care about his patients. Terrible city and services!!!

I absolutely loved this place! New to the Bay and needed a new primary dentist and I found one in this place! They pulled me from the waiting room ON TIME, which is unheard of in any sort of medical facility. The assistants in the dental room were very nice and personable. My dentist was Irene Cheng and she was amazing. She was also very personable and sweet checking to make sure i was comfortable throughout the visit. She explained exactly what she was doing and then explained her interpretation of each item noted in my X-ray and her reasoning behind each of her recommendations. She didn't push me to redo fillings or get any procedures to try and make money. She simply wanted me to have a healthy mouth and be educated about the health of my month. SO so happy I stumbled on this practice and will certainly be returning here for all my future visits. Thanks doctor Cheng!!!

Recently they just expanded and moved to the new building on 430 Post St. It's a lot bigger dental office space for patients to see a group of dentists under Dr. Mathew Young's leadership. The office even has its own bathroom. No more walking out the office with face full of dental work to do the bathroom needs. The equipments are updated to the latest technology. Without reservation, Young Dental in my assessment is due 5 stars across the board: During my last cleaning my hygienist (at another practice) strongly suggested I seek a second opinion regarding implant alternatives. She felt I should do this for the purpose of considering treatment options beyond the initial recommendation given to me by a previous specialist (from another practice). I am so glad that I took her advice. I am doubly glad that taking her advice led me to Young Dental. 1. Expertise-5 stars Dr. Young is not only a general dentist, but an expert in the field of cutting edge dental implant science. I am the type of patient that is diligent in self advocacy to make the best informed, research-based decisions about my care and the care of my family/loved ones. Thus I ask a lot of relevant and detailed questions. At no point did I feel rushed when presenting Dr. Young with my line of careful questioning. He took the time to address each of my concerns/questions thoroughly and factually drawn from an expert clinical knowledge base. 2. Quality of Care -5 stars Located in a new, well-appointed facility, this practice houses the latest available dental technologies. In November. I underwent the phase of implant surgery involving the positioning of a screw. Due to my bi-coastal work schedule, I was in a time crunch. Young Dental accommodated my limited availability so that I was still able to undergo the needed procedure ASAP. I am happy to say the quality of care I received was highly efficient but also top notch. Subsequent to that, I was fitted for a crown on another tooth. I have had multiple experiences being fitted for crowns by other providers in the past that were decent but were never quite comfortable. I am very happy to say that this crown feels like my own original tooth. The fitting is perfect. This is likely the case due to the specific scanning technology employed by Dr. Young. It virtually eliminates any potential deviations that might compromise rendering the most accurate crown dimensions for optimal comfort. This level of quality is really important to me as I am particularly sensitive. That sensitivity also tends to make me nervous when I am in a dental chair. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was quickly at ease in the dental chair with the care provided by Dr. Young and his assistants under his direction, which is remarkably gentle and responsive to my degree of sensitivity. 3. Cost Transparency -5 stars As a patient, I place equal value on quality of care with integrity/transparency. Prior to committing to a treatment plan, Dr. Young and his staff prepared a detailed cost summary. This summary took into account every inch of insurance benefit I was entitled to. Additionally, the office staff worked with me in accommodating a very manageable budgetary timeline that does not compromise my long-term care needs. Dr. Young was fully transparent in discussing with me ALL my choices including the less expensive options. I am frankly very impressed with the level of integrity exhibited by Dr. Young and his office staff in this regard. ------ These are just 3 key areas that have rounded out a positive experience for me at Young Dental. On top of everything, Dr. Young and his staff are kind, courteous, respectful, and professional. They take the time to get to know me not just as a patient/customer, but as an individual. This is notable from the get go beginning with the in-take process continuing with personalized follow-up to make sure everything is going well over the course of the post-procedure phase. I have so much trust in this practice that I referred my mother for an implant evaluation. And that says a lot! My mother also was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional level of professionalism extended by Dr Young in terms of sheer generosity of attention, dedicated time and care. Thank you, Young Dental!

From all of the dentists at a well known Medical and Dental building, I chose Young Dental as I've met Dr. Young briefly and can tell by his generosity that he has an astounding practice. Well I was in need of a general cleaning before my schedule gets hectic working two jobs and they fit me in the next day I called. Talk about fast customer service. When they told me I was going to have an appointment with another dentist other than Dr. Young, I was a bit skeptic but I took a chance and glad that I did. The staff was very friendly the moment I walked in and the music they played is what caught my attention, chill electronic music playing with artists I love which I instantly knew this was my new found dental practice. I met Dr. Irene Cheng during my appointment and what a remarkable dentist I was paired with. She was very helpful and knowledgable of the findings from the x-rays and quite the perfect match for me. Her personality was AMAZING and she is quite a gem to have as my dentist. Her honesty in her dental treatments are admirable and she does EXTRAORDINARY work!!! I came into this appointment hoping to just get a general teeth cleaning but I left with two fillings and some aesthetic work done on a tooth, which I was surprised that with my insurance it did not cost a lot out of pocket. I am very satisfied with the work Dr. Cheng did as she took a lot of patience and time making sure her work was perfect, I mean she even polished the teeth she worked on to make sure it looked absolutely stunning. She complimented so much on her work the entire time that when I looked in the mirror after all I could see was stain free teeth and a beautiful smile she created with her expertise. Dr Sara Kayeum is very friendly, positive and has amazing talent. The chipped tooth Dr Sarah rebuilt looks perfect. The surface is smooth, the color of the repaired area perfectly blends with the rest of the tooth, and my bite is unaffected. She explained all the treatment options and explained the appropriate plan of action for my situation. I expected to be walking around with a chipped tooth for a while, but i was given an appointment the same day i called and Dr Kayeum made an effort to repair my tooth during the visit. Very convenient and excellent service, and it is much appreciated.

I started w/ Dr. Young ~10 yrs. ago when he first opened his practice. Knew immediately he (and his staff) were "special" and one-of-a-kind. Moved for a few years and came back to SF and immediately contacted him to get back in as a patient. Amazed at how competent he is at regular dentistry and advanced work (including most if not all of the things an endodontist does, eg. surgery, root canals, implants etc.). More so, he is a key opinion leader in the world of dentistry, teaches, and keeps a robust clinical practice. I had a surprisingly lovely experience at Young Dental! I needed to get 6 fillings replaced / cavities taken care of. I was pretty nervous about getting this procedure done at a new dental office, but the staff handled it all so well! During the first appt, they xrayed and photographed all my individual teeth and then walked me through the health of all of them. This seemed like a highly efficient and intelligent process. Then during my procedure, they provided me headphones (I chose a spotify playlist) to keep me distracted and calm, and then followed up the next day with a check in call. Plus they are open late at night and on Saturdays, so convenient for working folks! Highly recommend this office! :)
