Today has been my third appointment here in the past two weeks and it was super unorganized all three times. Ive been checked in at my original time and have been seen an hour + of just waiting. There are patients who came in after me getting seen first. I used to work in dental and seeing how this office runs is not okay. The dentist exam took less than 1 minute and was rushed Dr. N My second appointment an assistant brought in an instrument ( mouth mirror ) without packaging didn’t know if it was sterilized or not. Very unprofessional.

They seem like very nice people here and they’re just trying to do their job but what I don’t understand is why it’s gotta take three hours to do a basic check up or a cleaning. I think they should be a bit better at managing everybody’s time instead of costing us valuable hours for something that could probably take more or less than an hour

I had the worst experience with a dentist at this location I Would not recommend This place to anybody , they did a root canal on the ride side of my teeth , I end up getting fracture on that tooth I had Really bad infection The right side of my face was really really swollen I had to go to the emergency room & Go to my primary doctor for skin antibiotics Beware if You’re considering Heading over to this place ⚠️⛔️

Waited 3 hours to be seen. Given 20k estimate of work to be done. Then told I won't not be given a cleaning (purpose of the visit) as the facility was closing. No one bothered to inform me that I would not be given cleaning service within the THREE hours of waiting. Would have appreciated a status as the hours progressed.

Please do not go to this office , front office is terrible. I had an appointment today at 10:00 am Got there at 9:45. It was 10: 45 am hour later and front office ask me to fill the registration paperwork that I did previously online I LEFT minutes later I get this unbelievable they don’t know what they’re doing. Do not go to this office.

Our appt was at 7 am for a wisdom teeth removal. They told us the oral surgeon was late because of “traffic” and then that he’ll be here at 9 am. (It wasn’t until later that we learned that the oral surgeon doesn’t come in until 9. So why tf would they schedule our appt for 7???) We came back at 9 am and proceed to wait for another hour and a half before going up and asking them why it was taking so long. That’s when they decide to seat us inside and we wait for another hour and a half. Just sitting there without getting numbed or anything. Finally, we had enough and we tell them that we want a refund and want to leave. Wait another half hour. They tell us we’re next and that they’re sorry. Sorry doesn’t take back the 5 hours that we wasted here. They don’t tell us at any point that they were running late or give us the option of rescheduling. Just that they could only say sorry. We say screw that we’re leaving and give us back our money. Biggest waste of time. DO NOT GO HERE.

They wasted my time on multiple counts. My first question is why was it so important for me to fill out that paperwork if no one from the office was going to look at it beforehand? If they had, both issues that came up during my visit would have been handled. I had that paperwork filled out and signed the Wednesday before my Monday appointment- I even received a call from the receptionist on Friday asking whether I had filled it out. Why harass me about paperwork that was never going to be looked at? The first problem was that the receptionist had not cleared my insurance yet and there was confusion about whether this office was my assigned office. After a half hour of waiting past my appointment time, we verified that I was at the correct office. That could have been dealt with before I got there. Second, I’m pregnant and a new patient. This disqualified me from service since no X-rays. It was all over the paperwork I sent in and even could have been a screening question they asked over the phone since this was a clear no-go for them. If I’m a new patient, how hard is it to ask if I’m pregnant while scheduling the appointment? They gave me an electric toothbrush for the hour of time they wasted, but the disorganization of this office was really bad. Honestly I’m not going back, even after this pregnancy is over.

NO RATING! My husband was a patient today and they where charging him $2,200 to remove a molar and deep cleaning and they said 25,000 to do his dental work and it would have been 45k with no insurance mind you this did not include veneers ? They’re in the wrong country they need to go to Dubai with those prices.! STAY AWAY FROM HERE PRICES ARE HIGH. The highest in WHITTIER!

I came here for all the great reviews yet somehow have had a nightmarish time. In the past six months, I have come for five appointments, every single one of them having been messed up. I needed a root canal and 2 crowns, both authorized by my insurance, no one called to even say the authorizations went through nor to make an appointment, I had to do that myself. When the appointment for the root canal was made and I went into this office, I was laid down for a crown procedure because apparently that’s what their appointment said. I told them absolutely not, this is a root canal first, and had them reschedule me for the root canal. When I arrived again for the second time, once again I was laid down for a crown. by the time I had made the third appointment, the tooth that needed a root canal was so far broken, it was no longer able to be saved. When the dentist told me this news, of course I was shocked and upset, and her best response was to say, it’s not my fault I waited so long to get it fixed. It’s not my fault the appointments were messed up twice! Upset, I left and asked to be seen by a new dentist when I returned, when I did return for the procedure, the new dentist wanted to take a step back and re-examine me and start over with x-rays. I obliged, though not thrilled, as I was intending to have my tooth fixed after five months of back-and-forth. Once this was done, an appointment was made to replace a crown. I no longer needed the root canal as that tooth had been too far broken by that point, though I believe it could’ve been saved if the procedure was done as it should’ve been earlier this past summer. At this point, no one has submitted an authorization for the extraction of that tooth, which I asked for. As I return for the fifth appointment, I was seen again by the dentist from the third appointment who am I asked never to be seen again by, as she is so callous rude and uncaring in her practice. At this point, I am well OK to accept this as long as I get the procedure done, but do I? No! Once again, she notes that I waited way too long into my authorization for this to happen, as if it’s my fault? It was supposed to happen six months ago, and the complete disorganization of this office has led to the negligence of my dental care.

I wish I could give them 0 starts. The absolute worst dental provider. Their staff is negligent and incompetent. The biggest mistake was ever walking into this office. My mom needed a root canal and tooth extraction. It took MONTHS for them to coordinate with the insurance company to provide authorizations for treatment. I was literally calling them every week sometimes every day for weeks and each time different employees who didn't know what the heck was going on. They do horrible job of record keeping/notes. My mom finally went in for a root canal. NO after care instructions/no pain meds provided. She was in the worst pain afterwards. They tell us they couldn't do the tooth extraction because it needed to be referred by her primary dentist. We get the referral, take it in to management, was told they could do the consult day of her root canal, and was told they would send in for authorization. More weeks go by only to find out an authorization is not needed for extraction and can be done. We have an appointment scheduled for a Saturday morning. We show up and find a group of others waiting and their office CLOSED-during their business hours. No phone call before or after about closing or following up on her appointment. Thankfully we called in an emergent to Downey Dental Arts, which I highly recommend. The complete opposite of this nightmare of an office.

Reception was rude and had know idea why I was there I ask her 2 hours later and she said the Dr was not in today I will be contacting the better business bureau. I recommend to save your time and money and don't come here. Also my mother in law was in there and they tricked her into paying 200 dollars for an unnecessary procedure and were very rude to her when she asked for her money back because she didn't want to end up getting implants with them, they finally decided they were in the wrong and refunded her. I really do not reccomend coming here!!

I made an app for me and my children for cleaning yesterday, they scheduled my app for 4 pm, we got there at 3:30pm , we were waiting for close to 2 hrs , they took x rays on me and later on which it was almost 6pm they didn’t do any cleaning on us because they said it was already late and to rebook my appointment and on top they said one of my children insurance had issues

I am so upset with the customer service that I received I would never Recommend west coast Dental to anyone I know your Dentist asked for a release from my primary doctor so that he could provide me with the services that I needed ( tooth extraction ) and my doctor ģàve written ok but it wasn't good enough for your dentist , my Dr knew exactly why the Dentist wanted his OK but the thing that upset me the most was the way it was handled I had a 9:30 appt and at 11:45 I was still waiting , As far as I'm concerned it was very un professional asking me question after question instead of just telling me that it was to risky and he did not want to do the deed , well all I can say is your not the only Dentist in town

Iv had multiple things done to my teeth here and to be honest if you single time I always come out with a problem. I had less problems before even getting anything done to my teeth then having gone here. The only good thing about this office is the helpful staff everybody’s really nice and sweet but it doesn’t help the fact that I can’t get my teeth fixed at that place that it’s supposed to be done. And it doesn’t help the fact that it takes more than three hours to get in I got there at 10am and walked out at 2 PM.

Very long wait 1-11/2 wait to be called in. Seems as if they book alot of people for same times. Very unorganized. Got appointment booked with the wrong specialist. When got called in had to correct them and let them know what our our appointment was for. Seems like staff does not communicate well with each other about next step into booking next appointment.be ready to wait a long time before you get called in. Staff is nice they are just not organized.

Be aligned with the support center of your company. I have been turned away 3 times due to “not having insurance” when I clearly do. I have worked at the same employer for 10 years with the same insurance coverage and when I go in they say I don’t have insurance. There’s a disconnect between insurance and this location. There wasn’t even any notes under my name of my past 3 experiences with this dental office. I do not go in until my insurance is verified over the phone and it was recently which is why I attended my 4pm appointment on 8/03. I have to leave work early to make these appointments and to only show up to a waste of my time. Please be aligned!

Fire your dentist and train your staff to be more kind. Over priced and rude staff. Very few were kind. The dentist preformed 2 extractions, didn't give me antibiotics afterwards, left a piece of a root from one of the extractions in me. Then 10 days later said she needed to pull out another one of my teeth. The staff were rude and unprofessional. The floor nurse, I believe what was her title, was so kind. I wish I remembered her name. I will not be going back for anymore dental work and am going to seek counsel about the extraction that was preformed and the piece of tooth the dentist left in me. What was the hole. Purpose of the so called extraction, if now I need to go back and get it done, yet again for a tooth that was already supposedly pulled. Horrible dentist. I wish I could give them a no star.

This place is disorganized. I had to reschedule twice after having to wait in the waiting room for over an hour each time. I had an appointment, but it still took over an hour and I had to leave back to work. So disrespectful of people’s time. I spoke with the manager and she made sure I was seen within 15 minutes of my 3rd appointment. The Dr. himself was also very rude and didn’t listen well. I had a few teeth receive treatment for sensitivity and he started putting the treatment on the wrong tooth. When doing a filling I think he drilled too far, because it’s been a month and I’m starting to have pain in that tooth. Save your time and don’t go here.

This was my first time visiting West Coast Dental in Whittier. Overall I was very pleased with my visit and I am due for a future appointment in a couple of weeks for a permanent crown. The staff is super nice and accommodating. Satia was extremely nice at the front desk and the paper work that you normally receive to complete is harmless. Definitely a plus when you have employees that go out of their way to ensure your visit is pleasant. Jessie completed the beginning process of doing the x-rays and it was painless. The pricing is adequate for procedures that are not covered by your insurance. Dr. Amor Hemmati was excellent, straight to the point and knew what he was doing. Overall I would definitely recommend a visit to West Coast Dental in Whittier.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Every single one of the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and super professional. They all made me feel at home at this office, from the front office with Satia, to Alba and Jessie who took my X-rays and made sure I understood what was going on at every step and Amber who made sure that my service was top notch, and the amazing manager Erika. Overall, the staff were amazing and the office was clean, and there was no long wait time.

The whole building is nice and clean, X-ray room was great, technician was very friendly and doctors are good to but the problem is the administration staff are mean not friendly they went to my room and said to me you’re done come with me and call your insurance and ask for your benefits and forward to me and she guide me to the exit door and he said you’re done for today. No tooth cleaning was made on that day.

My bf went in today because he has been having a toothache for the past 2 days. It was easy to schedule an appointment, the lady over the phone was pleasent to speak with. We get there fill out some forms and he gets seen within an hour. My bf comes out with a quote but not antibiotics or pain relief medication. I go in to the office an ask what happened. The guy at the front desk tells me that he has to get a root canal in order to feel better. From my previous experience if I have a toothache my dentist prescribes antibiotics before doing a root canal. Well apparently that's not how things are done here. This office's seem more eager to lock us in to a contract that to help my bf with his toothache eventually after going back and forth the guy at the front desk said well if you want the antibiotics and ibuprofen we can send that to the pharmacy. Like why wasn't that an option to begin with. How do you send a patient away with no medication is beyond me. They literally did not care about him all they wanted was the money. Will never be back.

I made an appointment and went there to get my teeth cleaned. This is the company that took over Dr. Reddy's practice. After taking the x-rays, Dr Choi evaluated my teeth and said that I needed 3 crowns and a deep clean. I told the Dr that I didn't have any toothaches. He then passed me onto another person who was like the business manager. I told him that all I wanted was a normal/ standard cleaning right now, and we can discuss other options at a later appointment. He refused to do the normal cleaning, which would have been covered through my cigna insurance and insisted on a deep clean with a high out-of-pocket co-payment. I told him that I would not come back.The business manager was not willing to discuss anything further with me and escorted me out. It looks like money-making was more important than the needs of patients.

This had to be one of the worst experiences at a dental office I’ve ever had. My appointment was for an extraction and scheduled at 10:00 am. They didn’t start on my dental work until about 3 hours later and the surgeon prescribed me antibiotics. They said they would send it over to the pharmacy and it would take about an hour. I went to the pharmacy, and it’s been well over that hour and they still have not received the prescription order

So let me share with you my story with Dr Reddy. I've been going to this location SINCE I'VE BEEN A KID. Now I'm all grown up and married and still go to him. He's such a kind person and genuinely cares about you. I've NEVER been excited to go to the dentist but I am always filled with joy and excitement to see Dr. Reddy. He takes his time on your teeth. He makes you look and FEEL good. I've gone to him with good insurance and even when I lost that insurance he still takes Medical patients. Although his office was closed for 3 months due to COVID-19, he still took emergency appointments. Over the years, this location has been remodeled several times. It looks so great. Very relaxing when you're waiting. With new COVID-19 regulations, him and his team take all precautions. The office is now filled with air humidifiers to purify each room. I never want to go to another dentist. Dr Reddy is a real special dentist and human, stop stressing about the dentist and choose him today.

Went in to correct a filling that a different dentist did, I had a ledge on the same tooth from an incorrect filling. After the numbness wore of, I saw what Dr. Reddy did, he just replaced the filling and then made the ledge taller and sharp. I then called in the next morning to go back in to finish the job, he had me wait an hour and a half, I understood that he had appointments but mine was an unfinished job from the day before. After asking the staff what was taking so long, they informed me because I was a "walk-in" I'd have to wait for him to finish his other appointments. That's when I made the point of "well my appointment was yesterday and he hasn't finished" so I have been waiting since yesterday. At that time the asked me to go back to the room and that the doctor would see me right away. It wasn't even a min before he showed in the room and asked what had happen, I explained to him about the unfinished work, he told me "oh, it just needed polishing" I asked him why he didn't do that yesterday, he said "it was because it was to soft to do at that time". Then he proceeded to grind down the tooth and then expose a "discoloration spot" it looked more like a cavity to me. I told him then, well why didn't you drill that out and fill it? And also why did you remove so much of the tooth?, he should have remove his mistake and refilled the tooth. Then he makes it seem like he's doing me a favor by not charging me for the second days work, not charging me for allowing him to correct his mistake. I've already filled a complaint with my dental insurance and am looking for a more professional dentist. Apparently dr. Reddys office apologized...months later. Seems like a PR stunt. Because he sure didn't care at the time, or for months following. I filed a grievance with my insurance the day after this hack job, so Dr. Reddy wasnt paid and I had Mandalay dental in Whittier finish the job correctly.
