. I called to follow up on a billing issue after leaving a message a few days ago with no response. When I called today, Mandra at the front desk refused to take a message for the manager, who was off, and then abruptly ended the call—twice—claiming it “got disconnected.” On the third attempt, Gracie answered, took the message professionally, and assured me she would let the manager know.

Update... Tinisha did a deep cleaning on my old lady mouth and she was amazing! Gentle reassuring explains everything as we go. It was the most relaxing teeth cleaning I've ever had! Ask for Tinisha and you won't be sorry!! The staff there are amazingly kind thorough and efficient. My first time visit and I'm very impressed I will stay stay. One of the things I greatly appreciate about the front desk is an elderly woman who spoke only Spanish needed assistance and they were right there for her speaking Spanish for her. If i could give it a zero star rating I would but it does not allow me. This was probably one of the worst experiences with a company, and the way they run their business. Especially with their financing department, they will sign you up for a credit card without explaining this when you are financing. They push this stupid credit card and do not offer you any other options. All they will tell you is that they are signing you up for a payment plan and will not tell you they are signing you up for a credit card. They will not tell you that they are putting your whole balance in a stupid credit card, meaning maxing out a credit card and driving your credit utilization to more than 100% since they max it out. They will ruin your credit score and screw you over. Once you confront their finance manager, they will blame you and tell you it is your fault because you are filling the application on your phone, when in reality they do not explain anything to their customers; all they tell you is to sign up to get approved for your payment plan. There is no further explanation on the payment plan and they will not even offer you any other payment options. They will push this credit card with CareCredit. They will not do anything to solve the problem, such a shady way to do business and screw over their customers. I came to this dental office to get some braces and it was my first time doing business with them. What a great way to welcome new patients, right?!

This place is incredibly unprofessional when it comes down to handling their patients and overbooking people. If you have an appointment set for expect to wait a few hours and then be told you should have said something. I waited over two hours for a stupid check up And then to be told that no work was going to be done. I could understand 30 minutes of waiting, but seriously two hours is quite inconsiderate of people’s time especially for a dentist office. You can go to any doctors office and be seen within 15 minutes of your appointment. Go somewhere else with your oral care!!! This happens all the time.

I highly recommend West Coast Dental of Riverside. I've been an ortho patient since 2023. My current doctor is Dr. Fallis. He's very acknowledged, friendly and makes sure you are happy with your treatment. My general dentist is Dr. Frangieh, I had a regular check-up (cleaning) and got a filler done today. As soon as he told me about it, I got extremely nervous, but he made the whole experience smooth and relaxing along with the assistants. The staff is always friendly and polite. I've never had any issues with West Coast Dental of Riverside and will recommend it to friends. I'm happy with the service provided and the staff!

The dentist was great and the dental assistant was ok. The job performance was great. The front office needs a huge improvement. They were talking bad about patients while i was waiting. They were discussing conversations with other patients. Laughing at a patient that called crying because she was at the pharmacy. The lady who gave me my next appointment had the worst customer service. The meanest face ever. Not a hello, not a smile. Looked like she hated to be there. And the other front office looked like they were only laughing ay patients and looking bad at us. Also if you have young children take them a to a children's dentist.

My girlfriend had a procedure done and they left an overhang or something that caused food to get stuck way below the gum line when she went back several times they said it’ll go away on its own until they called her themselves and said they would look at her ( in other words they knew they had made a mistake but didn’t want to fix it till they had time!) she went and they did a filling then a month later it falls off exposing extra sensitive area and she goes the next morning to get it fixed they tell her they’ll see her at 2 pm that day She comes back at 2 pm they do a cleaning on all her teeth then they tell her they can’t do filling til Friday!! It’s Monday now!!! So they got her in to do something else they wanted not what she needed Unbelievable!!! Come for under substandard service you’ll get it here! Will post an edit after they do the filling on Friday She wants them to correct their mistake not my idea!

My 17 month old child had an appointment for a general check up and the dentist kept complaining the whole time saying that my daughter was too young to be seen by a dentist. She said to come back when my child is two years. I’ve been told by plenty of other professionals that babies should get checked out by a dentist as soon as their first tooth comes out, so I don’t know why this certain dentist would tell me otherwise. The irony of it all though was when after the dentist was done, her dental assistant who was there throughout the whole checkup asked if I wanted my child’s teeth cleaned that day, as if he didn’t just hear the doctor complain the whole time that children shouldn’t come to the dentist until a certain age.

If I have read all these negative reviews about terrible wisdom teeth extraction experience, I would have seek other qualified and licensed doctors elsewhere. This clinic was referred by my dentist to have 2 wisdom teeth extracted as it was growing sideways, hence, the need for an oral surgeon. My teeth was extracted by Dr. Joseph Behjat, however, to my horror, when I came in for my wound healing consultation, the other oral surgeon was in practise. The fist thing she told me was that Dr. Behjat was not an oral surgeon!!, I was shaken and horrified!! I went on the California Dental Board and found out truly he does not have the surgeon license! PLEASE make sure you know a legit surgeon will be doing the procedure. In addition, the admin lady cajoled me to have the procedure done immediately and that it will not be covered by Medi-Cal, I wasn't thinking straight and trust her words and paid $900. I hope everyone reads these emails, and please be very careful with this clinic. This is truly fraud. I hope the California Dental Board will be careful in how these dentists perform, it will put a lot of trauma in patients. I have attached the License for both doctors to compare as shown on CAL Dental Board and the display at the Clinic. If they are not a board license surgeon, they should not display his name under "Oral Surgeon".

Doctor Sean Pairawan is the most skilled, caring and careful dentist I have ever had. Doctor Sean has absolutely the GENTLEST touch! I practically fell Asleep in the chair during the procedure to do a filling. The assistant had to ask me to sit up straight because I was slouching in the chair; I had basically fallen asleep. When Dr. Sean removed some bits of root that had worked themselves up to the surface, he did so with the barest minimal of pain. He carefully and skillfully turned the bits out and it signaled that his experience would cause me the least pain. As he checked his work, I felt calm and secure. My teeth have never felt cleaner. Teeth cleaning inherently causes pain. It comes with the job of touching the gums that it will be felt. Yet, as I steeled myself for the uncomfortable sensations, it was always controlled to be as minimal as possible. I never had to really brace myself for enduring pain. His work was thorough and complete. The discomfort never amounted to more than carefully and controlled avoided. In retrospect, I am even more impressed at how pain reduced/minimized it was! Especially since I have the barest of minimal insurance.

Go to a better dentist, if you like your face not in pain permanently then go elsewhere. This place made me wait 7 hours for a wisdom tooth extraction and that’s the least of the problems I face. I now have TMJ due to the carelessness of the oral surgeon. Not to mention she also made fun of my anxiety disorder. That coupled with the sudden rush to sign everything despite the fact that I had 7 hours to do paperwork while I was in the lobby waiting and they rush me when I’ve already been finally called back only to permanently mess up my jaw. When I called to ask about that they refused to treat me and told me to go to my normal dentist but that was honestly probably best because they don’t know what they’re doing, from the inattentive and often incorrect receptionist, to the rude woman in billing, to the disrespectful and uneducated oral surgeon; all of them need new professions and this place should be shut down. They were complaining how much working there sucks anyways and how the tools aren’t sharp and a lot of other complaints patients shouldn’t hear, I think it would be good for them to leave and find a profession they actually like cause not even the employees want to come here. And need I say it again, I HAVE TMJ NOW DUE TO GETTING MY WISDOM TEETH SURGICALLY REMOVED HERE.

This dental practice removed 4 of my wisdom teeth when in actuality I had nothing wrong with them. I had no crowding , no cavities, and no pain. They were growing straight in and everything was fine. I was coerced into thinking I needed to. And I fell into dental manipulation. They removed all 4 of my teeth at once with the use of gas and local lidocaine. It caused me SEVERE EMOTIONAL TRAUMA. I was crying the entire procedure and even years later after the removal I have ptsd. I was severely violated and cried for 4 days straight afterwards. They constantly tell me I have cavities when years later I have no pain or difference in my teeth. DENTIST ARE SHADY AND PLEASE DO NOT PULL YOUR WISDOM TEETH UNLESS YOU NEED TO. I should've filed a lawsuit and against this place. If I still can I will . Please be careful in the things they manipulate you to believe you need. I 100% did not need my wisdom teeth removed. I'm still so devastated from this experience. It was emotionally, spiritually, and physically traumatizing. They absolutely do not give informed decisions to your options. They pressure you and make you feel a sense of urgency. I 10000% regret pulling my wisdom teeth out. Shame on the doctors and employees that work here.

My appointment was at 12:30PM I wasn’t seen until 4:30PM and never had anything done. While I was 2 hours into waiting to see the oral surgeon I asked the receptionist if my insurance is covering my visit and she said everything is covered but when I get to the back they tell me I have to pay $900 out of pocket. Why tell me everything was covered and have me wait 4 hours if it wasn’t. Horrible team at this location they are money hungry and don’t know how to schedule appointments.

Mom had an appointment at 9am. She was not seen, safe to say she was forgotten about. I think I checked in more on her by text than the staff, lol. She had been waiting to have her initial check up since 9am. It was 11:21 when she left the place. The staff told her she was next once she was leaving. Complete waste of time! If you decide to get care from this place definitely keep an eye on your watch. Don’t waste 2.5 hours or your day waiting for nothing. Extremely unprofessional. There’s another review with a similar experience.

I was referred to see a Periodontist and when I went in I was told I had to be seen by a general doctor first. I was examine and schedule back for a deep cleaning. Once there on my second visit for the deep cleaning; I was told the deep cleaning was going to be done later and that I needed fillings first. Then after complaining they did both. But after my deep cleaning, I waited in the room by myself for 30 minutes; no one ever came in. Once I walked out and complain because I had already been waiting and needed to be somewhere else they finally help me and put me back in a room. My appointment was at 9am and I left at 12pm because of how long they leave you in the room by yourself. Oh and I still haven’t been able to see a Periodontist which is why I went there the first place.

They have taken great care of me other than the front desk lady. I believe her name is Jenny. I have 2 insurances and I asked her clearly to bill both of them and she only billed one. And this has been going on since November it is now May And she said that they had sent that request out but She had clearly lied. Because i just spoke to my other insurance. And they clarified and said there has been no request for approval sent whatsoever. Even though I had asked Jenny multiple times what is going on? And why is it taking so long and she just kept leading me on. But the rest of the staff is phenomenal.

As someone seeking orthodontic care, I was disappointed to find out that this practice is only available on Wednesdays. While I understand scheduling constraints, this severely limits accessibility for many patients who may require more flexible appointment options due to work or other commitments. Furthermore, this restriction impacts the quality of care provided. Orthodontic treatments often require regular visits and adjustments, and being confined to just one day a week can lead to delays in treatment progress. It also creates a bottleneck effect, resulting in crowded waiting rooms and rushed appointments. I urge the management to reconsider their scheduling policy to better accommodate the diverse needs of their patients. A more flexible approach would not only improve patient satisfaction but also ensure optimal treatment outcomes. Overall, while the orthodontic services may be satisfactory, the limited availability significantly detracts from the overall experience. Id forgotten why I had stopped going to your office. Thank u for reminding me. Not only had I forgotten the incompetence of ur front office staff when it comes to scheduling, but also how your main priority is not the patients health or their comfort, but more about how much u can squeeze out of the insurance company for a profit. I understand that it's a business, & u can't function giving away services, but waiting 5 HOURS for an emergency extraction while a patient is in pain, just bc u want to "force" options in my face, when you've already been TOLD to just REMOVE it, is really quite cruel. Never again will I ever make the mistake of stepping a foot in ur office & I will strongly advise anyone else, to go somewhere ELSE. These people SUCK, the scheduling staff is just acts & looks LOST & nobody there ever takes responsibility for screwing u around. Really dissatisfied … Came here a couple weeks ago to check out some gum issues which lead to a cavity filling treatment. After the treatment they had left my fillings done wrongly which has led me to feeling constant pain. Tried visiting again so they could check what went wrong and they proceeded to tell me “It was fine and I had to give it a couple days”. The pain did not leave and I ended up visiting a different dental office! They had told me the cavity feelings were done terribly. Now I have to get the fillings redone. Do not recommend, worst experience & unprofessional.

Called west coast multiple times to speak to a manager have not received a call back. I love this dentist and I never had a bad encounter until recently. I went in to see the oral surgeon. They did a procedure and the three times that I seen the surgeon she Repeatedly said how much she dislikes to do the procedure that was done and how she hates it and made me feel uncomfortable as a patient there , on my last appointment, she told me that it was unsuccessful and she couldn’t do it and that if I wanted , I can go somewhere else. I ended up seeing my ortho for my braces the following week and she advised me to go get it done somewhere else she said it was possible to get it done, and there was no reason for it to be unsuccessful. So a month later, I found a surgeon who is able to perform the surgery and guaranteed a successful outcome . I’m a little frustrated then I haven’t received a call back Regarding the complaint , the money I put in with the surgeon at west coast was just a waste, and I wish I never would have went with her very unprofessional. Now I’m spending more money for the job to actually be done.

Total scam organization..One fateful visit nearly 5 months ago. I was overcharged, traumatized and after several requests, I finally got a statement and found out I was overcharged ( check your dental EOB, don’t trust their word) Found out I had overpaid, and they REFUSE to refund my $. Have no option but to file a small claims case now..My advice would be to run away from this place as fast as you can, or suffer the consequences.

I love coming here. I've been too a couple of locations and I was never satisfied. I found this location after searching for a while and this will be my permanent location. I have horrible anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist. Plus other mental issues that messes me up and makes it very difficult for me. They are very patient with me and don't rush. They work with me and help me a lot. I know that I am very difficult but the amount of patience they have for me blew my mind. They help me understand they're just trying to help and explain why they need to do things. I've had insanely horrible experiences before in different dentist offices where they would rush and not tell me why they had to do work on my teeth other than they had too. Everyone is very professional and the staff in the front is amazing as well. I like to have Robin help me since he remembers I have jaw issues and it dislocates. So he's very patient with me during x-rays and works with me as well. The only thing I didn't like from this location was the biller. I let the dentist know that she doesn't call me to see if I was approved since last time they were wondering why I didn't make an appointment and I told them she never told me if it was approved or not. So I couldn't make an appointment. I was then informed that I've been approved and the Biller tried rushing me to get crowns ready. I asked her how long would it take and she said 10 mins. So I was like alright cool I'll wait. (Which my first mistake was asking the biller how long it'll take.) The procedure I needed for the crowns was a 3 hour plus procedure since my tooth was very damaged. I had no issue staying but just don't lie to me about it. I prepared myself for a cleaning not a procedure. Other then that everyone else is amazing. My anxiety is getting better now. I am beyond happy with coming here.

Front office staff very kind and professional. Their greetings were genuine. Lobby area clean and presentable. X-ray process was quick and painless. The tech was very good about checking each pix to ensure clarity. Her very breathless (almost silent) comments were in concern for her colleagues who would use the films to conduct their duties. The dentist was PHENOMENAL!!! I am very pleased that my family, Joan Christmas, referred me here. The dentist explained what was currently happening with my dental hygiene, she then wen into necessary work needed. When I compare her assessment to the two received previously, I’m glad God intervened. I was in a hurry to get resolution because of aesthetics. I only had 15 teeth remaining!! I needed help. She reduced the number of teeth that needed to be extracted by 50%!! She’s going to extract them herself so I don’t need the extra trip to the oral surgeon (which is my preference ALWAYS). The number of root canals was reduced by 100%! In a few weeks I’ll get the cavities fixed and upon insurance authorization, we will move on to my upper and lower partials (these increased by 50% in my favor). Although normally plastic partials considered cosmetic (no functional use, I’d maintain the same soft diet), because I’ll be down to 13 remaining teeth, I MAY qualify for upper and lowers AND they will likely approve permanent which isn’t just cosmetic, they have “functional” use value!! OK, so I’m very happy I came to West Coast Dental. The delays made it possible and the outcome thus far has been amazing. I look forward to a long future with this team.

Orthodontist team is amazing. It’s the management and front staff that don’t communicate with ortho team. They over book! They need another orthodontist. I believe it’s impossible to have so many clients/patients for only two days of orthodontist service. I asked to speak to a manager about this situation and she spoke to me while staring at her screen. She never made eye Contact with me! Never acknowledge that it is a problem. Basically left her assistant which is very polite to address me after I asked to speak to a manager. I do believe that with better management they would be more successful.

The last time I went in for my appt on 07/19/2023 (Wednesday) I felt rushed and not taking care of. I understand they had a full waiting room since the ortho team was there but to have my teeth cleaned with needles constantly being scraped against my gums isn't acceptable. Whoever the guy was that was in charge of cleaning and removing bacteria from my teeth was rude. I didn't need to hear "well do you want your teeth cleaned or not?". While I was moving in the chair in pain. That is just poor professionalism. Everyone else on the team was fine given the amount of time pressure they were on. I've went there 4 other times and it was fine aside from that one event. ?

So I absolutely LOVE this office. I was told at a previous dentist I had gum disease and a bunch of cavities I needed done and redone . I came here for a second opinion and they found one with no gum disease !! The Dr. Was so sweet and she made me feel so comfortable the hygienist was also amazing and was so gentle . They performed a dental procedure without authorization on billing on a minor and sent us to collections. I called corporate to get it resolved and yet to find a resolution. They are giving me the run around. They cannot perform a dental procedure without telling what's covered and what's not and then 4 months later send me to collections without offering the chance to be aware of it. Horrible service from the manager at the facility. I have filed a complaint with customer service. No viable resolution has been reached other than a $50 discount. If this is how this company works, watch out... you will owe any amount of money as they perform it under the illusion that it's covered and then say it's not and expect you to pay it. No response after submitting a formal complaint to customer service

Great dentist, very efficient. I had more problems than I'd like to admit but the people there made it seem like routine work. The only downside in my visit today was in my opinion the wait time was a little longer than I would have liked but a)can't really complain about wait times at a doctor's/dentist's office due to how busy they can get, even if at times it doesnt look like it. I made an appointment for 3pm. I didn’t leave until 6pm and all I had done was a crown re cemented in. And of course I was told I had to get an exam because I hadn’t been in since before Covid-19. Of course they do the X-rays and exam and sent the “coordinator” in to see how much she can jam you up for. Honest to god it’s gotten to be like going to the car dealer. I really miss the smaller Dental office. Much more personable and no sales pitches.

My dentist is Dr. Parsa. I remember her by the song Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and thyme. I just love her she is very gentle with me. She explains everything, she answers my questions and any thing I need to know such as do these caps have mercury in them? She contacted her lab to make certain since I have fibromyalgia, and I know that the mercury fillings in our teeth are contributing to the pain so I need them all removed, but they all seem to be breaking a falling out anyway, and she is slowly replacing them all with beautiful porcelain and they are so perfect. You cannot tell the difference I recently moved much further away from Riverside, but I still drive back for this doctor and the office staff. All of members are very courteous and responsive. I also love working with Rosa Marie, the office manager. She is very kind and diligent and hard-working. As much as I hate going to the dentist. I don’t mind going to this one.

Had a dental emergency and they saw me as a brand new patient on a Saturday. Very friendly and quick.

- I completed the new patient information online, and when I checked in had to repeat the same information. - When I was finally called back (20 minutes after my appt schedule) there was someone sitting in the xray room. So I had to wait for them to get a room, then I was allowed to go back to get xrays. - After that I had to wait seated in the middle of the hall for another 20 minutes until a room was ready. Staff constantly walked into my legs, tripped around me, I felt like a nuisance waiting for a room. Even though I had an appointment. - Once I got a room the doctor came in and looked at my xrays and had a lovely consultation. She suggested I see a specialist for the TMJ since she couldn't do much to remedy the issue. She then suggested I get a night mouthguard to stop teeth grinding. I declined since I don't grind my teeth. She said "I'll put the order in anyway". - Then a receptionist came to tell me that my visit would be around $500. I asked if my insurance covered a standard new patient cleaning and xrays. She said yes, but that the mouthguard isn't covered. I said I declined, and she still pushed the purchase to prevent tooth grinding and headaches. I reiterated that there was no evidence on my xrays and I have no pain, so declined. - Finally the tooth cleaning begins and from the outside a man opened up the emergency exit door to "fix the door". I asked the hygienist to ask them to wait until I was done because I felt uncomfortable having my mouth exposed while they were doing construction RIGHT NEXT TO ME. She didn't do anything, so I turned to the worker and asked him to return in about 30 minutes. For a routine cleaning and some xrays and having completed all new patient documents online prior to my visit, I was there from 10:45 to 12:40. I had an 11am appointment. The doctor didn't talk to me about my issues much! She just saw my teeth, said she'll prescribe me some antibiotics and an oral surgeon will see me for my wisdom tooth and then she left. She didn't take a minute to explain the medicines, ask me about my symptoms, what else I need. More than that, I was told they would send over my prescription to my pharmacy asap but they didn't. I had to call them back twice the next day and then the lady at the reception finally double checked and sent it over. Now I have to go to my pharmacy again. What kind of treatment this is, I don't understand.

Terrible! We were taken in an hour after our appointment fir a wisdom tooth extraction. Meanwhile a guy with no appointment and no insurance was let in before us for a tooth extraction because he said he was in pain and was gonna pull it out in the parking lot! On top of everything, we were charged $200 fir nitrogen. The ladies up front are inexperienced, have no customer service skills, and the office is old and dirty. The only good thing was the actual ortho surgeon who is there twice a month. Don’t waste your time here.

The receptionist was rude and seemed snotty said that she would give us 2 masks now but next time be prepared because they at a shortage with them. REALLY, as much money as Western dental makes the can't afford $3 boxes of masks. And how should we be prepared when there is no longer a mandatory mask in Riverside CA. You people should really get your act together I have no problem wearing a mask but you should be prepared to hand them out if if it's not mandatory. Additionally, the guy sitting next 3 seats away from me was not even wearing a mask and they didn't say anything.

I went in for an extraction of 3 teeth. The doctor that was doing the procedure was absolutely horrible. She chewed me out over why bactrim is an antibiotic for the neck down and that a dentist would never give me that for an infection in my jaw that the clindamycin didn't not work at all. Then she goes to numb me up and she stabs my lip with the needle AND SHE DIDNT EVEN APOLOGIZE FOR DOING IT!!! She did not at all seem to be paying attention making me feel as if she doesn't even know how to do it correctly. This is absolutely ridiculous. Extremely rude. I cried from the office over halfway home after I walked out because I refused to allow her to put me through anymore pain. My whole lower mouth is numb as well as part of my lip all for nothing.

My fiancé Alicia broke her crown on the morning of our wedding rehearsal the day before our wedding. It was her front tooth so she was very distraught and upset. I was able to through one 800 Dentist find a West Coast dental open on Saturday and they did a fantastic job they made her an appointment got her in quickly and were able to recement her crown back on so her wedding was not ruined by this bad experience so all is good and kudos to West Coast dental

I can’t believe that this office schedules you an appointment and doesn’t see you within a timely manner once you’ve arrived. I had an appointment for my daughter and son and arrived on time with only one other person in the waiting area only to wait an hour! And once we were finally called in it took another hour just waiting around. All my child needed their regular 6 month check up and cleaning. It is unbelievable how they show now care for their patients. To have to wait an hour with no one else in the waiting area with children is awful. I will no longer be returning to this location and I strongly do not recommend this place. Avoid this place at all cost unless you want to waist your time waiting around for hours.

Rude and unprofessional! Appointments mean nothing and they are more than happy to waste your time here. Unless you want to waste your time and be treated rudely, do not come here. They have an incredibly rude, unprofessional, and incompetent office staff. The bad reviews are there for a reason and I should have looked at them before making an appointment. Do not make the same mistake I did. My husband and I both had an appointment for 11am on Saturday, December 18 for a regular check-up and we waited almost 2 hours for treatment. We were both new patients since we just moved back from Oregon and we're looking for a new dentist under our insurance plan. They did our x-rays after we waited an hour past our appointment time. We waited for another hour for treatment but before that could happen, the office manager walks over and starts interrogating us about our insurance plan... AFTER making us wait for 2 hours. It's the office's job to contact the insurance company and figure out billing. We made the appointment a week in advance so they had plenty of time to figure this out. Why are you asking us about a "fee schedule" after making us wait for 2 hours? Just do your job or let us know in advance that you don't have the information you need. If I had known that we wouldn't get treated, I would have never waited that long or gotten my x-rays done. Now I have to get them re-done at another office. I was upset that we wasted so much of our afternoon and didn't even get an APOLOGY. I think that's the worst part. They didn't have the courtesy or professionalism to say sorry for wasting our time. They simply do not care about their patients. I understand being short staffed but this is not how West Coast Dental should treat new patient. It’s extremely unprofessional. On top of that, the place isn't that clean. Again, the office staff is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I hope this review helps others avoid coming here.

I got two wisdom teeth extracted here, I had an appointment at 11am, and got there thirty minutes early, which lead to me being forced to wait around in different rooms and chairs until almost 3pm. So I couldn’t eat almost the entire day because it takes HOURS beyond the actual extraction for bleeding to slow down enough to even eat mashed potato’s, but that wasn’t even the worst part. I was approved for nitrous oxide, which they neglected to give me until I requested it several times saying it was approved by my insurance and discussed prior, then they almost extracted the WRONG TOOTH, then proceeded to argue with me when I tried to tell them, and one of them says, “No, we’re perfect here, we don’t make mistakes like that.” EXCUSE ME?! I told them no, please go back and figure this out, which they eventually came back after they realized I was correct, and finally extracted the correct teeth, but didn’t even bother to stitch me up, even though they assured me they would, since it was covered by my insurance (probably figured I wouldn’t notice since I was on the nitrous oxide, which they even ripped my gum up a couple teeth down and have now compromised the tooth that was in front of it, which I’m seeing hours later and horrified by). Terrible experience. I thought I’d finally found a good dentist compared to Western Dental, but nope, they’re not any better. Very disappointed.

I just started going to this dentist office and so far its been a great experience. The office is clean and easy to locate. The girls in the front are polite and helpful. I recently had a deep cleaning done and I was really scared it was going to hurt because at my last dentist he was ruff and I always left swollen and or bruised. I'm happy to say my experience was amazing. I barely even felt the shots, I was actually numbed, I wasn't in any pain or discomfort, and I didn't feel like I was being handled in a rough manor. I was told my teeth might be sore after my deep cleaning but I didn't have any discomfort the days following AND I wasn't bruised or swollen. This is definitely going to be my go to dentist from now on! It's definitely worth checking out this location. I hope everyone's experience is as pleasant as mine.

It has been a while since I've seen a dentist. I have hidden my teeth for years. People judge you when you have bad teeth. Called yesterday and went to my first appointment today. X-ray's, examination, consultation, and impressions made. The frendly staff made feel at ease and profesional. I felt comfortable with the doctor. I had the worst experience ever! I had an appointment at 11am and I wasn’t seen until 12:30. I went to get a crown re-cemented that I had done there that I had spent ALOT of money on to find out that the doctor couldn’t touch it because “she’s not the one who did it” even though it was done there. I was recommended that I go home and take it off myself and go again so they can fix it! I just cannot believe I wasted 2 hours of my time for absolutely nothing to be done!

This place is good in terms of having a friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately the wait times are a bit insane. Have a friend who came in at 1:45 pm for a 2 pm appointment and was finally seen at 3:15 pm. Also, there were staff working around x-rays without wearing a dosimeter badge. This is a huge safety risk for the staff involved. Hope this isn't a common practice since it could lead to health risks.

Everything was going good until the girl that does X-ray (Alejandra) was rude, he rolled her eyes just because I kept asking what she saying because I couldn’t hear her because all the face mask she had, she got mad and while she was doing the X-ray, she literally just pulled the cables out of my mouth and it was hurting so bad.

Do not bring your kids here! Horrible experience and even i was finally done and paid told me i paid in full. Nine months later they're sending bills with late fees. After a mix up with my birthdate, they were able to verify my insurance coverage. It slowed things down a bit during my appointment, but the front desk staff were courteous and patient and I was able to be seen for my regular check-up. I hope the mix up like the one I experienced today doesn’t happen again. Moral of the story: make sure your insurance carrier has the right information about you, otherwise you may end up with a headache ?!

Absolutely disgusting as far as customer service is concerned. I had a crown done and was told they ran my insurance which is denti-cal. I was told I was required to pay $1,000 out of pocket for the crown with no other solution being offered. I have also been requested medical records from them with constant rejection and stalling. Every time I visit the office they claim that the specialist is in a meeting and will get back to me I leave my number and they never respond. If this is how they treat their longtime customers imagine how they'll treat you. It is literally the most disgusting thing that I dealt with in recent history. If I could leave zero Stars I would. I cannot strongly discourage them enough. Absolute worst

The wait time was ridiculous. I was referred by west coast dental in Rialto where I received great and very professional service. Being referred by an office where the service was amazing I was expecting if not the same service at least descent service unfortunately after waiting 2 hours and having to call the Rialto office to advocate on my behalf I was taken to the exam room where the orthodontist walked in and said there is nothing he can do for me because that location does not count with the equipment necessary for a retreat of a root canal. Terrible experience specially when you have to take time off work to just sit there.

The experience was not good at all. My daughter waited for a long time in the room when the Dr came didn’t greet her or tell her what she was going to do on her . She said the Dentist just came in and told her to open her mouth without warning she poked her and told her she is going to feel numbness of which I think the dentist was supposed to communicate this procedure with the patient before performing it . As if that was not enough they numbed her and left for a while without any communication at all. Came back did fillings and that was it .

I came to this office from the ER after a dental injury as an EMERGENCY patient to save two front teeth. I was seen by Dr. Parsa for an emergency stint, whom I thought would be great. Thing is she refused to treat me and sent an emergency trauma patient with very loose teeth home for a week with a prescription and no treatment whatsoever - saying the teeth would not come out after I expressed concern. I then immediately went to another dentist who referred me without treatment. I then came back to West Coast Riverside to see Dr. Noh. He at least discussed the injury but again did not treat or give any conclusive diagnosis, told me he would gather my records and get back to me with word. He never did. At least he took x-rays. Eight days later after being told my totally unstable teeth would be fine like that and not treated whatsoever in 3 dental visits my tooth of course separated. I immediately called the office emergency number and left a message for Dr. Parsa to contact me. She never did. Hours later during business hours I called the office to make an emergency same day appointment. About an hour later when I called the office to notify my timetable I was told Dr. Parsa could not see me and both of my appointments one of which had been scheduled for a full week had been cancelled and I should go somewhere else. I asked why had I not been contacted for either the emergency call or the cancellation of the appointment before now. The answer was oh we forgot. This office flat out LIED to me about being an emergency facility simply to get my first appointment dollars. They never had any intention of saving my damaged teeth AND never had any intention of advising me of that so I could seek treatment elsewhere in time. The utter disregard for patient well being is astounding. I have never been anywhere more unprofessional than this. The whole atmosphere is about bowing down to staff convenience. There is no such thing as urgent. NO CONCEPT OF URGENCY WHATSOEVER. Do yourself a BIG favor and warn all your peeps NOT TO GO HERE. Go ANYWHERE ELSE. I went to this office four different times and got ZERO treatment for an emergency. I bet you thought your teeth is what they do. NO your money is what they do - teeth be damned.

Daughter needed to get fillings and couldnt goto our normal dentist. They were able to get her in but they give you a time and have you wait hours. She had the fillings done we get home and shes complaining about her teeth, so we look and there is a hole they drilled and didnt fill. She also told us they went needle happy and had to ask and make sure they even got the right side. They didnt compensate having to come back they just siad it must of not dried all the way and fell out. I call bs never heard of a filling falling out only 3-4 hrs later. She also didnt eat anything because her mouth still hurt .Also spoke to our normal dentist and they told me they have never heard of that happening. Hope this helps someone else.

Very horrible dental assistant their policy and procedure and chart collection. they promote emergency walkins is not true I’ve been here 3 and half hours and still have not been seen for my emergency extraction!! They make 1000 excuses on why you can’t be seen for hours on an emergency and continue to push you to the side back to the visiting chairs. Front Desk assistance is good it’s just when the chart leaves the front desk the medical assistance put you anywhere they want! The Dr. not aware of the weight either or chart mix up. The only thing I was disappointed in was my dentures would not be ready 9 days after the extractions. But that might be normal I have never had this done before. Great job guy's!!!!

On my first visit, I was nervous to come to a new place because you never know what you are going to find. Anyways waited about 20min then they did the X-rays all good till now. Doctor came in toll me what I needed done. She left and this is where it all starts bad. The lady in charge of taking your money she toll me what I needed and how much I needed to pay but she lied to me about what insurance. She said you need white fillings and I ask her what exactly my insurance covered and she said my insurance only covers silver fillings but told me that they didn’t do silver fillings only white fillings which are more expensive. $125 per tooth. Silver filling about maybe $40. So I believed what she told me. With deep cleaning and all the white fillings came to be about $950. I felt really bad. Wenthome call my insurance and told them about what had just happened, guess what my insurance said that this place is supposed to do silver filling and they didn’t know why they told me that. Then my Insurance called the place and yes the lady in charge lied again she told my insurance that she never said that, told my insurance that she asked me what I wanted and that I told her I wanted white fillings. I never thought (well I did ) that there will be a very bad and dishonest person stealing peoples money at this place. I wonder how many people she has lied to just because she want our money ?. Shame on this place I feel really mad ?. That this is how they steal money from people. I will make sure my voice is heard about what’s happening here at west Coast dental. ?.

Place was clean. Staff was nice. The black woman with the beautiful braids that took my x-rays was the kindest and most caring of everyone. Initial paperwork has a bunch of questions about how well you like your smile. They got upset when I refused to answer it. The had another page stating that I acknowledged I received a copy of their MSDS. They told me I didn't sign it, I told them they didn't give it to me. Again, facial expressions indicated they were unhappy. Had an upper molar pulled with bone graft under local. The only discharge instructions was to bite on gauze for 30 min, and to fill a prescription for antibiotics. I discovered later that there are stitches so I guess they are dissolving since there was no appointment for follow-up. You have to pay upfront before they do anything. Pay for x-ray and exam. Get recommendation, decide on treatment, go back up front pay for treatment, back to chair.

Went here to get my wisdom teeth pulled and bone graft. Was by far the best experience I have had at the dentist in my 34 years of life. I have always had bad experiences at the dentist since I can remember and they have completely changed that for me. The staff here was very friendly and all around good vibe. But I want to give special thanks to the oral surgeon Dr. William Noh and his assistant Victor Ramirez. They made me feel so comfortable. Literally had me laughing throughout the procedure and it was practically painless. I will be coming back here for any work I may have to get done for my teeth. They have gained my trust! Also I can not forget about their special treatment coordinator Maritza Cota. She helped me in the front when I arrived and also went over all billing with me while I was in the exam room before treatment. She was very professional and nice. The biggest thing is that she was not pushy at all for me to get the treatment which is a plus for me. Instead her and Victor explained it to me that made me myself not want to turn down the treatment and not feel forced into something. Which showed just how good they were at their job lol. And for me that’s what’s most important. So if anyone is looking for a great dentist office don’t hesitate to come here. You won’t be disappointed ?

This office is horribly disorganized and constantly overbooks appointments. On four separate occasions I have waited over an hour for treatment or been told my treatment cannot be performed due to under staffing AFTER waiting for over an hour. I would never recommend this dentist to anyone!!

Friendly staff. Quick and painless procedure. Clean office. Bathroom could be cleaner. Overall, I give it 5 stars because no one likes the dentist and I felt good afterwards which is not very common. Update. I am disappointed with the organization of this facility. I need to get 2 teeth extractions and have been waiting months for authorization. I have called numerous times and they continuously tell me that they will call me back and no one ever does.

I have been waiting for 1 hour and half to just get a consultation and did not do it. I left the office. Too much wait and when you ask the stuff they just say we don’t know. Why are you giving an appointment if there will be a waiting. For me 30 min wait is acceptable, but no more than that. One star is too much for them.

Our appointment was at 10a. It was for my 4 yr old. We waited till 1:20 to finally be seen and when they finally took us in they only did one side because she was crying supposedly but while I was in the waiting room I noticed they were telling ppl that they were very behind and to come back at a later time. So I feel we were cut short in order to accommodate them overbooking. I will never bring my kids here again. It's hard enough to get a child to go to the dentist but then to scare them and expect them to come again they are out of their minds.

I waited 45 minutes for my 15 month old daughter’s appointment in a small waiting room with about 10 other people during a pandemic. We were exactly on time and our appointment was the first available for the day. After we were seen the actual appointment took 10 minutes (5 of which the dental assistant spent looking for a goodie bag that she never found... it was a kind gesture but I’d rather skip the bag than deal with a cranky 15 month old that wants to move after an hour of sitting.) Instead of packing patients in maybe spread appointment times apart? I noticed at least 5 other people signing in with the same appointment time. We’re looking for a new dentist for the entire family.

Never again will I come here. I honestly had the worst dental experience of my life here. My appointment was at 3pm. I waited over an hour and still wasnt seen. I finally got up to see what they hold up was and they gave me an excuse that they were too many patients and only 1 dentist. I let them know i had my husband in the car with my newborn waiting for me and they said you can just come back next week. It was just a huge waste of time and i will never go back.

I came here for the first time last week, in severe pain. I was greeted with compassion and a sense of urgency. I was then xrayed by Omarika, who was also so kind. I ended up discovering that my wisdom teeth had come in and needed to be pulled. Dr. Parsa (with assistance from Omarika) was incredibly patient and gentle. I was so nervous but her steady hand and confidence kept me as relaxed as possible and before i knew it i was done and feeling immediately better. I am so thankful for the staff here and highly recommend this dental office. A speciak thank you to Sandra, Olga & Jenny.. who seemed GENUINELY concerned upon my arrival.. And upon my departure, expressed their joy, that I was finally out of pain. The staff here is perfectly balanced in professionalism and genuine human connection - I truly appreciate you all! I love this office. They have a very clean, friendly, and welcoming environment. All the girls in the front office are very friendly, and Sandra is so nice in explaining all my treatment and options I had in regards to financing. I love having a woman doctor, and Dr. Maria Parsa is just the sweetest and has the best chair side manners I have encountered. The assistants and the Doctor were very helpful in explaining the treatment to me again even when I didn’t really understand the first time. What can I say, I’ve found my go to office and I plan to stay!

I want to give a shout out to God for guiding the hands of the surgeon, Samuel Harouni. He did an excellent procedure as I'm a high risk factor with past medical issues of Cancer, Multiple blood cloths in my legs and Diabetes. The challenges were great but God is greater. Further, I wish the office would have informed me of possible additional and optional "fee-based services" such as 'bone grafts' during my initial consultation appointment instead of the day of the procedure so that I would have had enough time to gather my own information beforehand without surprises.

The staff are highly uninformed. I made an appointment to extract all four of my wisdom teeth. I made sure, over the phone, that it would be all four. When I arrived for the extraction they told me that they could only take out 2 of the 4 and they would charge me $460 for the other 2. They completely lied and told me that they had informed me over the phone before hand which was completely incorrect. Waste of my time!

I HIGHLY recommend this dental office. Dr Parsa was great and made sure she didn't miss a spot. The whole office staff were very helpful!!! I had been looking for a better dentist all week due to pain on my upper left side. My insurance company found this place and boy am I glad they did!!! The wait was not long. Once I got in they did a full x-ray. Looked in my mouth right away. I usually have high pain tolerance but they didn't take any chances. Did a deep clean and found the root of the problem. I'm feeling better just exhausted from lack of sleep cuz of pain.

The general Dr and the oral surgeon here are AMAZING!! I had an awfully experience as a small child with a dentist, I'm now 37yrs old and have been traumatized ever since and will avoid the dentist at all costs. No happy at all first time going spent 20 minutes talking to someone setting up and appointment to walk in for them to say they couldn't take me because the place to verify my insurance was closed and they left me One voicemail. Really!! Why not say that from the start after I told you it was an emergency and I was under alot of pain!! I could have gone to another place. But the solution they gave me was we could still see you but you but you would have to pay upfront. Was that the plan all along? So disappointed they lost 5 new patients.

I have been taking my kids here for about 3 years now, and this happens all the time, they overbook and then we have to wait for hours. I had an appointment today for my kids and after waiting for an hour they give me some paperwork to fill out, some that I had already filled out before, I think they lost our file, after waiting for more then an hour I decided to leave, I am going to look for a different dentist, I dont see why we have to spend 3 or more hours for a dental visit

My while family come here so the first time I had crown delivery scheduled after my first visit I was told I would get a call if the crown did not arrive. Well i showed up and 1 hour after I was there waiting I was told "we are sorry we do not have your crown" we need to reschedule you. So the dentist felt bad and said ill see you Monday when you get off work (I get out at 5 and work close by) and the front office did not want to honor the dentist word. Front office said "Im sorry the doctor stops seeing patients at 5, we need to schedule you another day." The only reason i still go here if because of doctor Gustavo if it were not for him I would never go back. Horrible office practices.

The orthodontist part is great... But the regular dentist is not. There timing is bad, they pass up patients they don't come if you are in pain you get called back to the back and still wait. I have 3bad experiences here now.. 1: appointment at10, get there at 947, 1045comes around and I go up and ask, they said I was forgotten and skipped, I asked why I was skipped and they didn't know, they said why didn't I say something, this was me saying something, it's there job! I signed in and had an apointment, I did my part..2: another 10am apointment,I'm there at 950, employees still just gettimg there right at 10 and a little after, first 10am apointment wasnt called till 1040, i go and ask whats up amd they say im next and will be a few min, 20min later they call someone else, not me, another 15min than someone else, still not me, finally I just walk out and call to reschedule and they apologise and told me they had2 reschedule alot if people, why did they wate for me to just walk out, why did they tell me I'm next.. 3: they constantly push whatever's advertising on the walls so I finely give In and while this lady's doing the work she coughed in my mouth multiple times uncovered...

I had braces before and I have never experienced this kind of treatment before. Dr. CAO Came right in and fully explained to me what treatment plan we were going with. I went in to get 4 wisdom teeth removed. First X-Ray visit was fast. I was in and out in 45 minutes. Staff was kind and answered all my questions. The actual day of my removal I was there for 2.5 hours before they started and then informed me 20 minutes before removal that my insurance would not cover the bone fillings and I ended up having to pay $900 on the spot. I would have appreciated that information sooner (give me time to save/ arrange my budget). Overall, great staff and helpful.

Was sent here by my son's dentist for a tooth extraction the employees were not very friendly and some of them seemed as if a few of them didn't have experience doing dental work on a kid. The dentist/oral surgeon came in and didn't even introduce himself to me or my son nor did it seem like he wanted to do the extraction today and tried to convince me to come back another day. I had him to the extraction because there was no way that I was going to schedule another appointment with them just so I could drive 45 mins. to get there then sit in there waiting room for over 2 hours after my appointment time just to be put in another room to wait for the dentist to come in. Once the extraction was complete they sent my son (7 years old) out to me in the waiting room by himself, I had to go and ask questions about how to care for him.

Doctor did a wonderful job in cleaning my teeth. However, they charged me $150 just for the antibiotics rinse. Been through different dental office and never been charged for that amount just for that antibiotic rinse. Came in, logged in and left the premises without receiving any greetings from the staff. Every dentist i visit they always give the patient like a dental kit - toothbrush dental floss mouthwash and toothpaste inside. Never received anything. As I've said i came and logged in and handed my paperwork without any greetings from the staff. I paid my bill and left without hearing ANYTHING!!!! HONESTLY, this the WORST experience I've ever had in a dental office. Definitely, not coming back here.

Worst doctor related visit I've ever had to experience. Things started ok taking pertinent info but as soon as they find out I'm on medical (and maybe cause I wasn't wearing socks) ... I get to telling them I had already taken old codein pills for the pain but I needed more and the doc says he can fix my teeth today and gives me lidocaine. But the receptionist comes by next and everything changed. The dentist would not see me again. The receptionist comes and tells me they need approval now for surgery and there is a fee that the state insurance will not cover of $700 a tooth. So at this point I'm hoping to at least see some pain meds cause I'm in pain once this lidocaine wears off. But no I am prescribed otc Advil. I've already taken 4vicodin and the lidocaine is not quite completely working. So I try to get the doc to go me at least something at par with current self medication but they stop me at the front desk and treat me as if I'm trying to cheat pills like a crack addict. I've never been so disrespected by someone in the medical field. Point being, not a place I would bring my family or friends. Currently my teeth, 4 of them have cavities down to my jaw bone and as soon as the local anesthetic wears off I am sure to seek another local anesthetic from a local 'not a doctor' supplier. Thanks West Coast Dental for reminding us that poverty is still a judged trait by the class of Riverside society known to swear an oath or something to the field of practice they are employed. Isn't that true? I don't know for sure cause I can't think now as they local has worn off.

I will NEVER come back! Our appt was at 11am and we didn’t get in until 1pm. My youngest was crying so they basically said they weren’t even going to try and referred him to come back for a peds dentist. My oldest sat in x-ray waiting for a room for 20+ minutes. The front desk receptionist couldn’t even figure out the right office to call to verify our new insurance. My husband and I switched years ago due to poor service and things like this are why. They over book themselves to bring in the money and the care & customer service sucks! Everyone in the front is rude and pushy and above all, clueless! Do not go here! There’s a reason why they have low star reviews.

We know our patients' time is valuable and we do everything we can to adhere to a strict and timely schedule, unfortunately, emergencies and unforeseen complexities in surgery at times put us behind. We would love the opportunity to renew your experience at West Coast Dental and we can assure you waiting is not something you can commonly expect. I had fillings done here and had no problems with them until a couple months later i was flossing and one of them had fallen out. Ive had fillings done at other dental places and never had problems with my fillings, accept here. another thing was, I was told they were able to save my tooth from needing a root canal which they tried. A few months later that same tooth ended up turning into a tooth infection, causing me to have a swollen gum and constant headaches.I now have a crown on that tooth. Although that happened, I had my wisdom teeth taken out here and I had not much pain during the process or after. it was a 15 to 20 min procedure.

went there to get my wisdom teeth out. The process was fast and painful. I remember during the surgery I raised my hand for them to stop because of how painful it was and they didn’t stop. The laughing gas made me feel like I was going to die. They also left a very sharp piece of tooth in my mouth. I am now in the hospital diagnosed with parotiditis due to complications with my surgery hoping this viral infection doesn’t spread to the rest of my body.

When I had my X-ray done it was amazing service they were so nice to me and my sister. However, when I had to get my wisdom teeth pulled out everyone there seemed mad at me, or made me look dumb when I asked them questions about my extractions. They did not give me full information of what they were going to do to me except Troy. They told me they were going to give me laughing gas but they did not I was lied to. I understand I sign a contract stating that they have the right to change the extraction but they did not inform me that I will not be getting laughing gas when two surgeons said I will. They did not make me welcome or safe. Also they changed my first appointment at the last minute. A couple of hours before my appointment, when I called the day off at work how unprofessional. I had to explain my jobs that they canceled my appointment.

I was told over the phone that they accepted my insurance. I had trouble finding someone who accepts it. I drove an hour to get to there office. They took xray and told me to come back on saturday for a root canal. I went back on saturday and after talking another set of xrays they came and said they don't take my insurance and it would be$950. So i am still in pain and need to start over to find someone that can help me. I would NOT recommend this office.

I have been going to this dental office for a long time. I've had plenty of work done. Now i have braces at 44 yes 44. I got them in 2016 at the end of the year. Now u might say you should of all ready be finish. Yes i should. But you have to do right with your teeth. Getting to my point I've had all good professionals dentist at this location and lets not the one who does my braces she's the in charge. She stays on u and is very professional with it. Second appointment I made sure to book the first appointment in the morning; 1 root canal took a total of 4 1/2 hours, no one gave me after care instructions, I had no idea it was so invasive. Third appointment (I had to come back to get my permanent crown). My appointment was at 4:00pm, it’s exactly 5:00pm and I’m still waiting. I’m finally in, the crown is the wrong shade and they already took off the temporary. I’m trying not to explode... They only have ONE doctor to see about 6 patients an hour; she walks in with a head filled with arrogance telling me that’s what I ordered when the assistants can clearly see is a different shade and just walks out. I lost it!

My first impression of this place seemed like it was going to be a nice experience until the dentist lady comes out doesn’t even look friendly at all an seemed like maybe there was an issue with something not sure because the lady that had been helping me gets up an goes to speak with her an from my end didn’t look like she wanted to see anyone by her expression we had even made eye contact at one point not once did she put a smile on her face to make you feel welcomed even if I wasn’t smiling I feel like this is your job an your the professional so smile even if you have to pretend.This place needs to make sure whoever is scheduling the appointments they schedule it to where it’s not at 5 o clock an they are closing because if I need to have work done I would like to have it done an not have to come back. The front girl goes we can at least take your x rays I told her they can do that all tomorrow. I asked her what time tomorrow she goes 5 I look at her like are you serious why would I do that just so you can tell me the same bs we can’t do work on you . I am not trying to have to keep driving over here just because you guys don’t know how to schedule people correctly that ain’t my problem so get it correct so that way your not backed up. I think I will give it one last shot But I’m not trying to be waiting for 2hr if I made my appointment at a certain time then I expect that time no later then my time that’s all I have to say about that.Well she’ll see how this goes tomorrow hopefully it will be a better experience.

I went in to get new dentures. I have an HMO. I couldn’t hardly understand the tech or dentist. Because my blood pressure was high, they wouldn’t do anything until they talked to my doctor. Didn’t give me any prices. Since there are no drugs to be fit for new dentures, they don’t need perfect blood pressure readings. Told the tech ahead of time I have high white coat blood pressure. Had to wait to find out if I owed anything. No charge they said. Good thing, they didn’t do anything. I’m changing dentist’s. They are the one’s losing money.

Today was my first day going to West Coast dental and my last. The only good part about this establishment would be the girls who work at the front desk, everyone else was incredibly rude. My appointment was at 12 and I was not seen until 1, this was my first annoyance. The issue I had with the first dental assistant I saw was that she was incredibly rough and did nothing at all to make my experience more comfortable. While she was doing my X-rays instead of gently turning my head she literally locked her fingers in my hair and pulled so I would turn my head. That was the number one issue I had with her. Then when I saw the dentist she was with me for less than two minutes, she scrapped my teeth said what I needed and left, which I'm all for speed and efficiency, but she had an attitude that made it feel like I was wasting her time by being there. She then came back to measure my gums and at this point she is just measuring space, not stabbing my gums, but for some reason she was stabbing them anyway. If you need to inflict pain, cool, do your job, but warn me first! They later came back to numb me for my filling and all I was told was "open, take a deep breath" I had no idea why I needed to take a deep breath until I felt a needle being stabbed into my mouth. I would highly suggest you warn someone before sticking a needle in their mouth. When she came back to do my filling she was carrying on a conversation with the assistant which is all fine and dandy except for the only form of conversation I received was, "open, turn your head." My biggest complaint would be that there was zero bed side manner. There was absolutely no small talk, no "how's your day going" "this is your first time here?" "Are you comfortable?" Absolutely nothing.

I had a dental emergency and was in awful pain. I called 1-800- Dentist and was referred to West Coast Dental Riverside in April 2017. Pro: My overall experience was excellent. The location is not close to my home and it's a 35 minute drive, however, the staff was friendly and the place was clean. Con: they don't use digital images and not super fancy. I would consider returning.

While I am giving West Coast Dentists 4 stars...it is only for the excellence of Dr. Cao & Michelle the office manager that we saw the day of my granddaughter's visit. The receptionist staff & dental assistant that were at the front desk on this day were rude & very unprofessional. I requested to speak with Ms. Michelle before my granddaughter was to go back & see Dr. Cao, after making ny request & returning to my seat...staff made remarks about my being persistant & made remarks as if they were going to put me in my place...due to them assuming that I was going to become irrate just because I stated that I would like to Michelle before seeing the doctor. I found their behavior very distasteful, uncalled for & totally unprofessional, especially because I could hear their rude remarks from where I was seated in the waiting room! There were several other clients waiting & no one should be exposed to ant type of rude talk from staff, no matter what the circumstances may be. If it weren't for the fact that my granddaughter needs to get treatment here I would not go to this dentist office. That being said...I would like to commend bith Michelle & Dr. Cao on their professionalism, kindness & courtesy. They are the ONLY reason I will continue my granddaughter's care at this office!

I got 4 wisdom teeth pulled yesterday, after waiting for over 2 months for approval from my insurance. It should have only taken a month to get approved, but the dentist sent the request to the wrong address and my insurance company did not receive it. They did not follow up on it either, I had to call my insurance myself to find out from them that they hadnt gotten any requests for me. Thats why I deducted a star, cause I think it was total BS that they didnt bother following up on whether or not it went through. So i finally got everything straightened out and went yesterday morning. I was going to get the IV sedation, but after telling the surgeon that I smoke a pack a day, and was a heavy heroin addict for years (almost 2 years clean now thank God), plus one of the medications I take, he said it would be too risky to do the IV cause I could possibly stop breathing while Im under, and he said I need to go to a hospital to get it done that way. He offered to give me numbing shots and the gas instead. I was about to say screw this and walk out, since I was still kinda traumatised from my last dentist appt at a different dentist, where I was supposed to get my wisdom teeth pulled 6 months ago, but their dumbacces couldnt even get a needle in my vein for the propofol. I though about how long Ive waited and how screwed up my teeth are from my wisdom teeth impacting, and I had already turned in time for off work for 2 days to recover. So i said ok lets do it. I didnt even feel them pull the bottom ones out. The top ones were some stubborn basturds. It took 2-3 minutes of twisting and yanking on each one to get them out. I definitely felt it, but it wasnt the worst pain ive ever felt. It was more the pressure that hurt, plus the thought of being concious while this guy was literally prying my teeth away from my jawbone that hurt me the most. All in all, it was not a terrible experience. It sure is now though, I am sore as hell and dying for a smoke. Im glad its over and that I didnt put it off any longer.

The staff here is very friendly and knowledgable, however the wait times are ridiculous. I've been coming here for years now by appointment, and even on an average day I've waited 2+ hours in the waiting room aside from another 30-45 minutes in the chair for a simple checkup/cleaning. If you come here, expect to spend almost 4 hours at the office.

Office staff was very nice. I went in to see the Oral surgeon to have quite a few teeth pulled for dentures. People were screaming in the back getting teeth pulled and a lady left crying and did not have procedure done. When I got called back I just sat around a corner in a chair with my chart on the sink. Another man left and changed his mind with out letting anyone know. The Oral surgeon was terrible, he left pieces of splintered tooth in my gums all over and was so insensitive and uncaring, jabbing me with shot after shot, non stop while I wiggled in the chair. I have High blood pressure that they did not check and I was sent home with Tylenol with Codeine which I specifically put down that I was allergic to. I was rushed out with gauze and told I was ok to drive, no worries. It was so traumatic of an experience all I could do was sit in my car and cry.

Okay so I have gum disease and what not. So my general dentist referred me to this place. I like how they were treating me and everything. They were all super duper kind and straight up with me of what I had wrong with my teeth. But they are making me pay $600 for antibiotics for my bone loss in my teeth and $150 for an electric toothbrush and two more things. $750 is way to much for me to afford right now. I don't have that kind of money even so they told me that I can pay in payments but I can't do that either. It's a good dentistry but when you have to pay out of your pocket that kinda blows.

I went to have a check up. I had not gone to the dentist in a while so I knew I needed work. I had two different insurances to cover the work but strangely I was charged additional money from my pocket. There was nothing transparent about the cost. I still don't know how much I paid for the entire treatment but I can guarantee it was probably in the range between 15 and 20k. I came back for several follow up appointments but each time the Dr found something new that required them to shoot me with novacaine to deaden the area. I refuted it during my last visit and I'm a Christian. They seriously took me off my spiritual path. All that being said I give them excellent in terms of expertise but they are very money hungry and lack transparency regarding their billing and what they are charging you. The work is good but check to make sure they are not scamming you. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure them out because they are going after the money. Good luck.

She's an amazing doctor and truly cares about what is BEST for the patient. She's thorough, efficient, profesional, KIND and funny! Her hygienist and other dental assistanys are also outstanding and proficient in all their task (xrays, cleanings, impression building ) you name they KNOW what they are doing! Having to wait is an indefinite experience apart of life. So I suggest to those without patience: Let your teeth rot and health decline because you will always have to wait to have something done for you THE RIGHT WAY, that you can not do yourself. I do NOT work here. I actually work for the famous SolarCity ( best job EVER) and this review is completely based off my personal experience! Go here for all your dental needs! Just wanted to say it's been a while since I've been to this dental practice and I'll never go back. I was trying to find a new dentist and chose this one because of how close it was to my home. I saw the mixed reviews and still decided to give them a try. I don't have anything bad to say about the level of care and expertise, but the sales pitches and the up front billing for future services is just too much. I fell for the laser cleaning because of how much they believed I needed it ($600 out of pocket; insurance doesn't cover it) then 6 months later they were saying I needed it again. They refused to do a normal cleaning, insisting I needed the laser cleaning, which I wasn't going to shell out for again...what dentist refuses to do a regular cleaning? And what's with the billing up front for future services? The receptionist was wonderful, Dr, Peterson was great, but I got the feeling even he was embarrassed with the blatant suggestive selling. After my final trip to them, I got a new bill, keeping in mind I paid in advance and on time for everything, for "adjustments". $2396 billed, $2396 paid, then just $70.00 in "adjustments". Buyer beware.

Dr. Peterson and all the staff are very friendly and understanding... The staff and Dentist made sure I stayed comfortable throughout my visit....my daughter has braces through them as well and they did a great job on them as well! If you are looking to have extensive work done or just a routine cleaning I highly recommend them. They follow through with what you need to have done and financially they are able to set up a payment plan if you need it or insurance doesn't cover it all they work with you so that you are able to take care of your smile!

Never coming back. A cleaning is not supposed to take 1.5 hours of your time. Also, they would not allow me to sit next to my 6 year old during his cleaning. The receptionists are very nice and professional, but the financial staff and dentists do not value your time. The male dentist also tried to sell me something similar to whitening for my 6 year old which I think is inappropriate, seeing as how he has not lost all of his baby teeth. Stay away form this place, unless you really like watching movies in their waiting area for at least one hour, and also being subjected to the offering of expensive therapies that are not necessarily needed.

My family has had only excellent service here. Dr Yu in particular is incredibly careful and conscientious with me and my children. I don't trust my kids with many, but I know she'll take good care of them, as do all the staff. They have always been polite, friendly and gentle. Cammy at the front, in particular, always remembers us and is speedy with our paperwork. They see us as quickly as possible and offer as close to no pain dental care as possible. I'd recommend to everyone.

2-3 hour appointment. Every. Time. Apparently this office doesn't understand the value of your time when they have you sit in the dentist chair for so long just to be seen. There's no point in making an "appointment." Then they treat you like it's a swapmeet and bargain the prices on these "extra" procedures on you that you "really need." Never in all of my life with my childhood dentist did I have to go through any of these "extras." They push "laser treatments" on you. And watch out for Dr. Yu. She'll pat your shoulder and walk off and say "okay" to the additional treatment before you can even answer. And when you DO refuse, they grab their "manager" to come talk to you. EXCUSE ME?? You come for one thing, and they sell you other extra crap you don't need. They don't listen to your needs. The staff attempts to be friendly but all they're doing is trying to sell you their extra services like a shoe from Foot Locker. Should have learned from my first visit. Not coming back here EVER!

After years of going to this office I had an issue with not 1, not2 but 3 crowns that came loose. I went in to see these folks again with a smile on my face but that quickly turned. The Dentists announced that I needed a $4,000 implant to replace one of the crowns that was less than 2 years old. I went to another Dentist who re-cemented the crown in place for $125.00. Follow along here. TWO more crowns have suffered the same fate. I did not attempt to go back to this office on the second one as I'm sure that I would be told I needed an implant for each one (remember the first paragraph?). After all there is no cash flow in performing the same treatment again; right? I did however call when the second crown came off. I called the office and asked about the "5 year warranty" that is professed when the cute girl is selling you in the treatment chair with a bib on your chest. Guess what? When pressed to make good on this warranty you are told that there is none. After I called the office to complain I began receiving bills for previous services rendered a YEAR before now labeled as delinquent. The bills show no insurance payments and BEHOLD the insurance company was never billed for the PRE authorized treatments. Oh boy. Here we go. The third crown came off at Christmas JUST when every Dentist in California was taking their vacation. I spent Christmas and New Years eve with an excruciating tooth ache. That week and a half reminded me that this Dentist wants my completed and undivided attention. Here we go. If you choose to go to this Dentist then that is your path but I thought that you should have some insight.

I wish I read others' review before I went to this dental office. This dental office was the worst place ever that I've ever known in my life. First of all, whoever has private insurance like me, they told me my insurance did not cover anything (but it did cover when I went to other dental office-- how funny!), and they tried to negotiation the price just like I went to the car dealer. After double checking with the insurance, they told me it was supposed to cover my procedure, I asked them to submit the claim so I could get my money back. I had to call them so so many times, but every time I called insurance to followup the claim, they still did not receive any claims even the dental office told me that they faxed, mailed and emailed but ever could able to provide me any proof that they submited the claim(?). After 2 months of calling (they always said they would call me back, but ever called back even once), I had to go to the dental office and asked them to sent the claim right in front of me, then at that time the insurance got the claim. This place was full of lies, and all they cared was just money and tried to charged customer like me as much as they could. NEVER GO BACK THERE!!!!!

Over all i am extremly happy with the quality of the work the facilities and the workers. my only complaint was when the doctor see you he briefly goes over what needs work and brings in a "financial advisor" to go over your options and what is covered through your insurance. it was more pressure than going to buy a car and having the finance guy upsell you warranty and bullshit paint sealers. $900 dollars for 2 white fillinga and a sealer that protects your teeth. haha i luaghed. beware of the financial adviser. just say no and move on. i will still give this place a 3. only because i am not dumb enough to fall for that rip off. the place is clean and have videos for the kids in thier chairs. i realy recomend you ask for dr peterson. excellent with kids.

Let’s start with how I had to wait for a simple cleaning. 1 pm appointment staff still all out for lunch, 45 min in the waiting room, I complained to them. Finaly going for Xray very good technician there. Move me to the dentist chair, waited 1:15 minutes finally the dentist does his exam then he leaves, waiting 10 minutes HERE COMES THE SALES PITCH outrages’ pricing they try pushing financing. I told them I only want a cleaning, he says “a polish” no only a cleaning. Then I ask how long of a wait for that, Replies; 2 minutes. Waited 10 minutes then left. MY TIME IS AS IMPORTANT AS THEM. The only good thing I can say is a nice new office, TOTAL WAIT TIME 2hours and 20 minutes and never got my teeth cleaned.
