If possible, no stars. They aren’t the best dental place. Don’t come out to any West Coast Dental. All they want is money. They’ll suck you dry of money. Not worth the dentist office to go to. Find a different place where they won’t try to empty your pocket. The service sucks too! 2 hrs of waiting for them to tell me my insurance don’t cover it and today’s schedule is for specific cleaning, they knew that too. But didn’t even inform the patient that they’d have to pay out of pocket. They should’ve inform people of that, instead of wasting time??♀️

I had a horrible experience at this office and I will never return. The dentist was trying to get me to get an inlay that would cost $600 instead of repairing my regular filling (that’s covered by my insurance). A lady dressed in regular clothes came in to talk to me about it (I’m assuming to offer me to apply for care credit). After I declined and asked why I could not get a regular filling, she said the Dr. didn’t recommend it. It’s a regular filling, I don’t understand how it would be hard to do. After I declined the inlay, she said “okay we will just proceed with your cleaning” and I declined. I would never want to be apart of a scamming office. It was my first time, and I will never return. As soon as I left, I made an appointment at my regular dental office.

Very expensive they always come up with bs and don't honor warranties, crowns are cheaply made and pay high price for them. Had to get it replaced like 3 time and they never honor the warranty. Found a better dentist and half of what they charge here and with insurance. Never coming back

The doctor was cool. Got me and got me out, but the office is small and you may have to wait outside like you’re waiting for a table the procedures that I had done worked out great but I wish they would’ve gave me goggles or wet towel to wipe my face.

Great staff / office they are very nice and efficient. I would definitely recommend their office. I had some issues with my insurance plan the front office took the time to get this resolved . My family and I were getting X-rays and evaluations and cleanings, the front office ladies were all taking the time to reach my insurance carrier. Most offices would have told my family and I to reschedule and come back for another day. The doctors were very friends and nice . I definitely staying with this office . 10 stars in my book, this is how a doctors office should flow and work .

It is a dangerous place. They wanted to give my 6-year-old daughter 18 tights because she supposedly had 18 cavities. I suspected this and took her to another place specialized in children and they told me that she did not have a single cavity, which is what they do in those offices to charge the doctor for procedures that are not necessary.

I wouldn’t recommend this place at all the wait time is outrageous. I wish I could put zero stars that’s how bad the service is, I had my appointment at 10 am for both of my kids we were there waiting for more than a 1hr for them just to have my daughter sitting there looking at the wall. While I was still in the waiting room waiting for them to call my son in to get seen. This is all the time I take my kids in to get seen. You guys have to change that or do something about it.

Horrible service my daughter didn’t even see the oral surgeon I waisted my gas, and it was a long horrible wait as well, they “showed the oral surgeon my daughter X-rays and they just come to tell me that the oral surgeon doesn’t do extractions that I shouldn't have gone there in the first place and I mean you have an oral surgeon that's why I called and scheduled an appointment .. just horrible...

I have been going to this place for a couple of years and this is the second time that they tell me that I have to return to have the cleaning done because it is already late and they will not be able to do it, they take x-rays and everything but cleaning, the truth is that I do not ink if the cleaning does not last more than 10 minutes, now I have to return again, they do not respect the patients' time, I have an autistic girl and for me it is so complicated to find time to return, it seems a lack of consideration and professionalism, and my reason why why I keep going to that place because it is the closest for me for convenience due to lack of time due to my situation.

I have been very unsatisfied with this office. Especially with the ortho receptionist and even the front staff. A lot of the times they don’t greet you or smile. Don’t seem like they want to help much or make an effort. My child was scheduled Ortho appointments monthly before the staff was changed and moved around. But now they schedule the appointments every two months. Which I have been unhappy about. And requested if they can be scheduled sooner appointments at least not pass 6 weeks. And their response was that’s how appointments have always been scheduled there. I think appointments should be scheduled according to the needs and progress of each patient. I had my child’s appointment move of courbefore and was not advised of change no call no voicemail. Until I received a call 3 days before, confirming the appointment with the new date. Lack of courtesy.

I went in today for a 9 o clock appointment for a cleaning. Time was passing so at 10ish which is more than hr later, I go up and ask the front desk how much longer. The First Lady was just super rude and was doing paper work. Then this second older lady comes and takes the responsibility to ask me if I was helped already and the Rude lady interrupted me, didn’t let me speak at all. Then the older lady (I’m thinking she’s the nice one) so she went and checked how much longer I would be to get seen. Then comes back says I’m next. I say look I’ve been here for an hr, so when I get called in there am I going to get sit back down and then have to wait to get called back again ? She’s like yes. And I say that doesn’t make sense I’ve been here for more than hr. She said well maybe next time you shouldn’t make an appointment when ortho is here. I’m sorry how should I know when ortho is there? And then so now I have to call and say hey when is ortho there so I can make an appointment on a different day. And a Tuesday is my only day off from work. So when should I make an appointment? Like this is ridiculous. Getting loud with a client is no for me. And the fact that she started getting loud and that she told me that. I gave her the same energy back. Asked if I wanted to reschedule another day. I left her talking as am I walking out the door. Don’t give people appointments if you can’t handle them in the morning. And if you don’t space ! That’s just it I will not be coming here anymore..

I went on a Friday to see the oral surgeon because of a cracked incisor. They were very busy but the office staff had things scheduled & staffed right and it was flowing. The oral surgeon was extremely confident, professional, caring, quick & most importantly, competent. He knew how to numb that tooth with almost zero pain (which I was super nervous about because the roots are so long on incisors). He also extracted it neatly & quickly. Even tho this office is way out of the way, I was so impressed I actually did the leg work to call my insurance and change the dental office to which I'm assigned. if I could give zero I would honestly they should not even be an open business anymore this place is a joke oral surgeon told me he couldnt extract a tooth because they don't do that type of extraction there and wanted to refer me somewhere else even tho previously they said they would be taking it out that's it on top of that they made me wait over an hour just to tell me they can't remove my tooth and want to send me somewhere else do yourself a favor and either switch doctors or just don't ever go to this one I will be switching dentists this place should not be in business anymore.

Wait time is ridiculously long. 2 hours since my appointment and still haven't been seen. I signed consent forms and paid for services but no updates or actual services. I still haven't been seen by the surgeon but even if service ends up being excellent by the actual provider, it is absolutely inappropriate to have to wait this long for scheduled appointments.

Sending me this service because my appointment should have ended by now, right? Nope, still waiting in the lobby. My appointment was at 9 am. It is now 12:04 and I still am here waiting. The receptionist was rude when I went up to ask how much longer after another patron complained and they quickly sent him in. He came in wayyyy later than us and his appointment was at 10. I am LIVID.

My sons appointment was at 2pm.. when I arrived at 1:50 the front desk employee told me the dr went out on An emergency and won’t be back until 2:45.. I waited until 3pm !! My son got his X-rays done and the dr didn’t show up until 3:20! She took a look at his mouth and said she couldn’t fix his cavities and he needed to see a specialist.. I asked if she can at least do a cleaning and she said she couldn’t until the cavities were fixed. She saw him for 5 minutes and did nothing!! Not only was she late , she was extremely unprofessional. I do not recommend this place at ALL!

The Dr’s assistant took pictures of my daughters face without my consent. My daughter did have a few scratches that were done by her brother. And I do understand that it’s protocol to report anything on the child prior to doing any dental work. But what was not appropriate was the nurse taking her personal phone and taking pictures of my child. That is invasion of privacy, she could have easily asked me to go to the back with her and explain how the scratches on her face happened. It was extremely unprofessional on her end and I will most likely not return or refer anyone here.

Poor communication and long wait times. Filled out all my paperwork online, then was asked to fill it out again when I got there. Waited 40 minutes facing the wall in a cubicle because my dentist was on her lunch break. Didn’t listen to my dental history, did not discuss options for treatment, was told that I’d need a specialty referral and that was not provided. I wasn’t comfortable with the aggressive treatment plan and asked for a cleaning only, and was told that they would not do that if I did not agree to the more extensive treatments. Ended up leaving with no treatment or cleaning because I was not comfortable with their care, pushy sales, and communication.

Website and person I spoke to said they handle pediatrics (4 year old) and they don’t they have to refer to specialist…wait time was almost two hours and all they did was X-rays in the end. Wont be returning. To the response… the special request was that child is seen alone by the pediatric dentist. No parents allowed in the room. It’s a pediatric patient!!! Of course I want to be in the room not only because it’s a child but so the child fees safe. So yea I won’t be returning because your SPECIAL REQUEST is to see children alone .

We do refer our patients to our inhouse pediatrics, we did offer for you to bring your child with our specialist and you declined because of your special requests. This office has been one of my least favorable experiences with any dental office I’ve ever been to. The wording of services have been conflicting, not to mention the excessive reminders I’ve received regarding my appointment just to get different results and advice upon arrival. I’ve been told I would see certain dentists that are in network with my insurance and then told something different after arranging the appointment. I would not recommend this office to anyone ever, especially when time is valuable and being blatantly wasted.

When asked if this a policy that is written down the staff replies with no it’s not it’s word of mouth … so we should basically follow a rule that is made up for what reason … children should be allowed to have one parent in the room with them. We aren’t asking for a whole squad in the room.

I saw Dr. Honda today for a filling and deep cleaning, requiring half of my mouth to be numb. Dr. Honda worked her magic and I was quite surprised when both procedures were complete! Dr. Honda is an extremely knowledgeable dentist, but she is also exceptional in compasion and care. I have been seeing her for years, which in itself says a lot. I have deep respect and love for Dr. Honda. Best Dentist Ever! ❤️?❤️

The new ortho doctor it’s very rude, he does not know how to be tactful, he’s very impatient and does not answer your questions. I’m glad I don’t have to go back there and my kid! I feel very disappointed and I would not recommend the paramount office nor be issue the adrift but be issue if this rude dentist.

Dr.Terzian Edward does horrible work. I've been in pain since I allowed him to pull my impacted wisdom tooth 3 weeks ago. I don't like pain. He does not prescribe pain medication. The staff is great.

I agree with the other reviews that they are always overbooking appointment times. But the dentists are very patient and knowledgeable. We went in for a ortho consult and he was so helpful and honest. He said we should consider finding a different office for her braces because of the volume of patients they have and the intense treatment plan recommended. I will be bringing my kids in for their general dentistry because they care about their best interests.

I had never went here. I had on and off tooth pain. I went and I had fillings done and 2 wisdom teeth removed. The 2 dentists that worked on me had such good hands. I didn't feel a thing! Especially the wisdom teeth,I was so scared and nervous and I didn't feel a thing. Definitely recommend

First time patient & I had a good experience. Front desk staff was friendly & very helpful (paperwork to sign & working with my hectic schedule to get my next appointment scheduled). The x-ray tech was friendly as well as dental assistants & treatment coordinator, they explain everything very well & answer any questions you might have. The Doctor/Dentist was GREAT!!!! Very knowledgeable & explained everything very well, regarding treatment & as to why he recommends the treatment etc. He actual takes his time & checks in constantly to make sure you’re okay, not like other doctors/dentist. Overall great experience & friendly staff, really seems like they enjoy what they do.

I sent on a endodontic referral, however after thr initial X-ray was taken and seated in an operatory I was informed that the specialist was not the doctor I was referred to and he would not accept my coverage. Then when my name was called they skipped me and called another person because they didn't wait for my child to tie her shoes and I had to continue to wait longer! The doctor made my mom feel embarrassed about her situation. It was inappropriate and unprofessional. If my mom wasn’t in the middle of a procedure, I’d look for another dentist for her. BEWARE. Also beware of the long wait times. They’ll schedule you for 9 am and you won’t be seen until 11am. I’m assuming they’re trying to book as many people as possible without considering availability simply to make $$$.

I arrived 30 minutes prior to my 9:00am appointment, although it made no difference because the doors open at 9:00am despite their hours of operation stating 8:00am. This was a bit frustrating because someone who arrived at 8:56am was checked in before me. Covid precautions are well in place. Patients are made to wait outside and seating is provided. The facility is kept clean. Staff is pleasant enough although there is a lack of communication between them and the patient. The woman who took my X-rays assumed I knew what to do rather than ask me to move my head according to the specific X-ray. I found her just poking into my mouth and actually bumped me in the face with the machine more than once. This was a first for me. I understand their clientele may not be the best but their attitude and customer service needs some work. I came here with my HMO MEDI-Cal insurance because my PPO was not covering the majority of the procedure I need to get done. I don’t remember if the lady said $1800 or $1200, but as soon as I realized it’d be over 1k for a CROWN I was out of there. That’s outrageous and gives me more reason to not trust this place with my dental care.

If I can give this place a negative 10 I would. The experience I has was just unexceptionable. I have ppo which is a main insurance at this place and their communication here is horrible failed to explain before hand that my insurance doesn’t cover their service so they went ahead to charge me out of pocket without being to the attention before the service was received that I would not be covered.

They realized my insurance wouldn’t cover it. Went back today was told by the secretary I wouldn’t have to pay since it was there error. Dr. Honda is BEYOND gentle. I am a big chicken (6' 5") when it comes to dental work. She makes sure that you feel safe and welcomed in her office. The staff is very welcoming from the moment you walk in the door. I did not wait for someone to help me, very fast service. Felt safe, there was hand sanitizer and my temperature was taken. X-rays and exam room was very neat and staff was friendly. Overall great team, will definitely recommend to friends and family.

I had an appointment at 5:00 pm. Was there at 4:30 knowing paperwork was needed. Did paperwork and went in for x-rays, took 10 minutes, x-rays girl told to go out and wait. 5 minutes later front desk girl tells me the dentist is behind and we had to reschedule, I told her I missed work for that appointment, she said, sorry. She is not!!! That's how they operate, take x-rays to charge at least something to insurance. If they know they won't be able to take care of everyone then don't schedule as many people!!! Besides, they should no have a lot of people indoors. I counted 7 employees and 7 to 8 patients waiting for dentist...they are not following covid-19 safety protocols. I regret going in there, they put everyone at risk of covid-19 infection, they just care about money and not people's health. I have been getting emails for follow up visit, I'm never going back there and encourage others to avoid that office.

Terrible, waited for 1:40 minutes and asked about the wait and they told me a patient was running late, I would understand maybe an hour tops but if this was the case they should have been honest from the start! Or how about tell the late patient to schedule another appointment for whatever procedure they were having done that was taking so long. Over booking was warned on Yelp but I gave it a shot anyway and It turned out totally true. They tried to reschedule the appointment for the next day and it’s like, nah, I made the appointment for today because this is what works with work and my life and was decided on. I had to leave without being seen.

Marisol was super helpful. I had issues with my insurance because they said they never received my claim although the ladies in the office had sent it to the like 3 times. In the end they denied my claim and I was really upset because I had to pay a lot of money out of pocket. Marisol went above and beyond and called the insurance to see why it was denied and she worked with my budget. Forever thankful. I’ve seen bad reviews but people need to take into consideration the circumstances with covid and how hard these girls work.

My daughter’s appt was at 9:30 am and we waited over 2 hrs we drove over 1hr and a half just for x -rays only .No teeth cleaning pls she have 2 cavities .they were overbooked despite COVID -19 .We will not be returning bad business .I contacted Corporate waiting on a call back .Something has to be done about this .

They told me that my 2 year old needed crowns on her 2 front teeth. I made the appointment to get the crowns 1 week after the doctor told me she needed them. During her appointment to get the crowns another dentist checked her without seeing her x-rays, she said she actually needed 4 more crowns on her molars. I refused and said I was just going to do her front teeth that day. The dentist pressured me and said "you should get them done now, she's already been sedated so just do it now, it's important to get her molars done because those are already her adult molars. First of all she was not sedated, they hadn't given her anything yet. Second of all, she's only 2 years old, adult molars don't come out until 6-7. Thank God I fed my daughter that they. They didn't explain that she was not supposed to eat prior to get appointment. Since she ate they rescheduled me for the next day. I did not go back of course. Such a bad experience.

The staff is amazing they are very dedicated and truly understanding with patients needs. They took their time to make sure everything I needed was taken care of. Not mentioning their sanitation process is very good I saw how they cleaned over and over areas being used by patients. It was horrible waiting one hour for an 11 am appointment that ended up being 12 or more. They only did the x ray and check up but I made an appointment for more than just those. It was for my general cleaning, but instead of accommodating me for my cleaning after waiting long, they instead rescheduled it due to their dentist being behind. It’s not my problem that their dentist got behind. They are always making me wait longer. It’s very unprofessional. I don’t even know why they even still run a business when they cannot even keep their patients’ appointment on time. They’re so not very punctual and kind of rude to their clients not just before even after all these years.

Worst service ever. Every time I’m there it’s always overbooked and have to wait over 2 hours. The only reason I have to go back is because I paid up front for my daughter’s braces and she has to see the dentist there. Please don’t make the same mistake I did. The actual orthodontist is awesome but the staff especially the ones in the front are awful. Even when we have an appointment, we always wait 2 hours. The last time I was there 7 people where booked for the same time. How are they following the COVID rules like this, can someone answer that?

Too many people in the dental office at one time during a pandemic. You would think they would decrease appointments to allow for proper transitioning of patients. For the office to be that small, you should not have almost every room filled, and people waiting. I only go for follow up ortho appts. Although I waited an hour to be seen, the actual visit was quick and pleasant. Dr. Terzian was funny and he made me feel very comfortable by checking up on me constantly during the procedure. He took out all 4 of my wisdom teeth in 10 minutes and I didn’t feel any pain, which was my main concern. The staff was also very friendly.

My appointment was set at 0900, I arrived at 0845 after a few signatures and initials, I was taken to the back to rinse with peroxide on time. I don't have a good experience. The first time they gave me an estimate after the X-rays of an exaggerated amount of what they said I needed! And they gave me 2 weeks to decide! The second time I was waiting for 3 hours and the Doctor who touched me according to her does not speak Spanish and another time I left and they did nothing and the third time I was waiting for an hour to be seen for a cleaning and from there they told me that sitting waiting for the Doctor there are 2 more patients before me and what happens is that they give us the appointment to more than 6 people at the same time I had it at 9 and 6 people or 7 too ?? there are only 2 or 3 doctors and the rooms, all the people waiting for more than an hour outside and inside, their service is horrible, the people outside angry and complaining!??This office is useless!

Takes way tooooo long. There’s like 10 chairs in a small waiting area w/ 30 people. Too stuffy. 1 hour wait just for an X-ray . I had to leave cause I wasn’t about to wait an extra hour just to be seen. Would not recommend and not coming back.

She’s of child age and needed extensive work (not to mention a strong phobia of the dentist). One of the things I hate the most about going to the dentist is that they make you wait a long time and they do just a little work at a time and have you keep coming back. Lots of time taken, but here they dont do that. I've had 1 root canal, which took maybe 20 min. And 3 crowns put in in so little time I was amazed. The staff are great and if asked will go over the details as many times as needed to completely understand. Made my experience painless. I'm very happy with the price and outcome.

The dentists are fine, but it's the waiting room that is torture. They make everyone's appointment for the same time, so unless you show up an hour before your appointment time, you end up waiting at least an hour, up to 4 hours. The waiting room is so tiny and cramped. And not very child friendly. When you ask how much longer, the receptionists say they'll get back to you, then don't.

Bad service.. they keep changing your appointment dates.. bad service to get a refferal, they dont have all the equipment to perform on root canals and other services, nor dental specialist on those areas, that they have to send you to another dentist location and still wait for another 5 or more days for a refferal while your in tooth pain.

First time patient at West Coast Dental. Staff was very welcoming in the beginning and scheduling an appt was easy. Their attitude changed when I started questioning why I was being overcharged hundreds of dollars for dental work covered in my HMO Dental Net 3000C insurance. They kept giving me the runaround and finally had to file 2 grievances and move on from this place. Make sure you ask for the dental codes before spending hundreds out of pocket here. They are a business not interested in helping patients.

Immediate warm welcome as i entered office with full attention to my needs by Nancy even though the office was full. 1st visit & Dr Honda was very rude & aggressive, belittling her DA & myself once i denied her up-selling treatment. She was great at explaining the diagnose & how the procedure will go (a deep cleaning with perio protect -up-selling the benefit) when I said no to accept perio protect she immediately walked away saying she was not doing my srps because it was zero copayment, she will only do light scale. I work for Dental Health Services THE INSURANCE , I have no copayment & know my benefits. It is not my fault I am covered with no copayment & she wasn’t able to trick me for higher payment. she became very rude very aggressive during my cleaning ..i raised my left hand twice as she instructed me to do so if i felt sharp pain, groaned she would know. The DA herself tried to tell the Dr to stop but ignored her too. I would never touch anyone without permission but when I jumped in my seat i almost had to push her away from my mouth to stop- even as i tried to speak with tools in my Mouth i was in pain & she continue doing it harder not acknowledging that I was in pain & talking over me to silence me & didn’t complete the treatment she explained in the beginning just walked away breathing hard and began working on another client . DA confused as we both knew treatment was not finished, very nicely cleaned me up herself & walked me back to the front. I complained with the Manager Marisol expressing my first time visit & how I’ve been treated, denying to ever be seen with Dr Honda again, Marisol apologized and scheduled me with another doctor that will be there on Saturday .. I hope this is escalated to the grievance department because if she treated me and her assistant like this I could imagine other patience suffering in silence & I don’t want new patients to go through what I went through ..I will give it another try to be seen with another doctor because Nancy made me feel welcomed, very friendly & attentive back staff was also great smiling, positive & attentive with a full office .Only returning because of them !!

Needed an emergency last minute dentist for my 6 year old daughter who was in pain and needed a tooth removed. Went here because 1-800-dentist recommended me to them and they had a slot available the same day. I was told by 1-800-dentist that they had a children’s specialist and that was explained to the receptionist before we made the appointment. We go in and the dentist tending to my 6 year old was not specialized in kids. But did not come to find this out until after she removed my daughters tooth. She was complaining the whole time through the procedure that she does not work with kids and that this is what the specialist (who was not there) is for. She was upset and complained afterward that next time my daughter needed to be seen by a children’s specialist because she moved to much. I came here thinking she was a children’s specialist!! It was very unprofessional on the dentist, even if she did not deal with kids on a regular basis, she should have been patient and explained that to me before she worked on my kid. Not complain when her hand was already in my kids mouth and continue afterwards.

If I could give them zero stars I would. They want to charge you for everything. Anyone out there that has medical and they charged you for the medication for the root canals. I call your insurance to report them. They tried charging me $450 per tooth for the medication i called health net to find out if it was covered and they said my insurance would pay because it is part of the root canal and they have been charging the patient aswell as the insurance.

This was my first visit to this office. I found it through 1 800 dentist. Im glad they recommended this place. This people here was so professional nice and courteous. If I could give this place a 0 I would. My review is solely based on the front desk staff. The dentist, dental assistants, and X-Ray technicians were great.Please save yourself the time and do not come here. The front desk staff does not do their job correctly. Before even coming here I gave them my information to verify my insurance. The day of my appointment they had me wait close to 2 hours filling out paper work and verifying my insurance again. I told them that I had already been told that they accepted my insurance. After calling the lady told me that my insurance only covered emergencies. I had to pay out of pocket when my whole procedure should have been covered... mind you I have 2 dental insurances. Anyhow, I'v been calling and waiting over about 4 months for them to file a claim to reimburse me. Come to find out after calling my insurance that they did not file a claim after they said they would. So lesson learned listen to the reviews ... they are usually right. If you choose to ignore my review, here is a tip DO NOT come here on a Saturday! Saturday's are the day that the orthodontist comes and there is legit no where to sit.

I came in for a cleaning right when the office opened. The waiting room was full of patients for both the general and surgery consultants. I was out in 48 minutes. The front desk ladies, the doctor, and the assistant were kind and helpful. Will be back in 6 month! I returned to remove two bottom wisdom teeth. I was the earliest appointment, 7 a.m. I sat in the chair approx. 10 mins after 7 a.m. since I had to read and fill out the consent form. I was out within 30 minutes after the consent form was filled. Overall quick and painless, due to the medication.

West Coast Dental is one of the worst dentist chains you could ever have the misfortune of receiving consultation and treatment. They are a money-making conglomerate. They appear to be more interested and how much they can get from you and your insurance, then in treating you for whatever else you in the way of dental work. Moreover, although the patient is entitled to his or her x-rays and dental records, or copies thereof, West Coast Dental will give you the runaround and try to avoid at all costs supplying the patient with copies of their dental records. Do yourself a favor, and avoid West Coast Dental, because if you don't, along with your aching tooth, you'll have a ginormous migraine headache.

I was a new patient and had a terrible tooth ache so I went in as an emergency. I was denied service because they were busy and could not squeeze me in even though is was 4pm and they close at 7pm. The receptionist had a terrible attitude and even refused to acknowledge me after denying service. I went to a different dentist where they were 30 minutes away from closing and was admitted, treated and was out the door before closing time. I would not recommend a place that doesn't care about their patients whether it's an emergency or not.

I called to verify if they accept medical for endodontic treatment they said they don’t but to come in and have it checked out because the Dentist usually performs the procedure. I set up the appointment only to hear that I have to go to a specialist they didn’t even referred me I just wasted my time. Also they said that I can’t keep on going to different dental offices because they will charge me if Me-dical doesn’t pay them. First of all it is their responsibility to check that information before performing any type of treatment. I know so because I used to work at a dental office.

I set my 1st appt to be seen for a checkup the lady that took my details really wasnt to concerned about my reasons for setting the appointment but she was very concerned about setting a braces appointment for me, I told her im 41 years old i dont want or need them she kept insisting I had to tell her again to stop so she set my regular dental appt which was a month out but in that month I was called several times trying to convince me i need braces when they had not seen me yet, finally appt day comes they took xrays & basically wont do any work that day this office does this thing where they find out your eligible benefits & try to collect that whole amount as soon as they can so be prepared to hear that u need alot of work & get ready to.pay, this office was the most expensive estimate I ever had, I should have trusted my instincts when they were trying to sell me.braces on my 1st call, my portion of their estimate was $5k I can only imagine what they were goig to charge the insurance, I left I didnt get any of the work done so I went to usc dental school I had them look at me, they said I was over diagnosed & that this was a common practice with some dental shops they find out how much is left on your dental benefits & they go for.the gold, one last kicker was me being charged for the xrays its no big deal that part is normal but once u pay for them they are your xrays right lol well if u want those xrays released to another office they charge $25 & will only be a computer print out so they can say they met their legal obligation to release your records upon request but we all know that a computer print out is unusable at your next dr's office its just a way to get more out of you before your done with them, if.your thinking about going to this office for extensive work do yourself a favor & check out the dental program at usc their dr's aren't getting paid for the work they do so their is no financial interest in over diagnosing u the way this office did me, not to mention you will save 75% on the work compared to these guys, its offensive.the way you guys tried to rip me off so I figured I should write a review to let the people in your area know about you & if you try to delete this review no worries I copied it so that I can repost it everytime u call in to have it take down.

Really liked the feeling at this spot. I hadn’t been to a dentist in about 6 years but a painful swollen cheek forced me to finally come in. The woman doing my xrays was very nice and polite when asking me to tilt my head a certain way. Since I was a new patient and my appointment was at 2,(the time they get back from lunch) I was there until about 3:45, to me that was reasonable because they had to create a new profile for numerous people plus they just came back from lunch. Only reason for 4 stars is because the place is pretty small and gets crowded fast which raiser the temperature a good amount to have me sweating. Could be because I was in the ER with my daughter all night so I will update this on my next visit. Special Thank You to Letty for talking me through the insurance and billing as well as giving me some advice!

1.) Have made appointments, complete with confirmation cards, on multiple occasions which they then cannot find on day of appointment. 2.) Have guaranteed, upon request before procedure is started, that procedure is covered under insurance only to find that it is not covered. 3.) Refuse to maintain order in their waiting room allowing parents of small children to violate their no cell phone policy with loud, obnoxious music and sounds. This may seem unreasonable but consider that: a.) a person visiting the dentist is likely already in pain and that pain can be exacerbated by this activity and b.) Headphones are a thing that are available to parents c.) It is not uncommon or unprofessional to ask a parent to control their child in your waiting room (quite the opposite). I would recommend, literally, any other dentist as this office clearly has no control and no interest in anything other than finding ways to charge you for more services.

Avoid this office LIKE THE PLAGUE - they've "forgotten" appointments we've made with them THREE TIMES (THIS AFTER THEY GAVE US THE CONFIRMATION CARDS) And - this is the kicker - they performed an extraction that they GUARANTEED TO ME MULTIPLE TIMES WOULD BE COVERED- then sent me a bill for said extraction. There are plenty of other good dentists available.

I Had a appointment for my daughter they told me she wasn't on the schedule for that day so they rescheduled it and when i came to that reschedule they told me they couldn't attend her because they where backed up POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE One star ONLY because i couldnt put no stars DO NOT COME HERE!!!

I went there at 5:30pm on a Thursday because on Google maps shows that they close at 7:00pm. So I went there and I it was closed and even though on their business hours sign outside the door shows they close at 7pm as well. One of the receptionist said from the inside "we are closed"

They only want your money!! do not go there!!! they over charge for everything! and they want you to sign right away! I was there two weeks ago and they wanted to charge over 6k! for work that is being done by another dentist now for half of it! they are terrible!!

Worst dentist I've been to in all my life. They overcharged me and my insurance company. Good luck if you want to speak to an actual dentist, because the receptionist is for some reason the person in charge. The worst communication skills of any office, surprised this place is legit, especially with all the lawsuits they've had ...well looks like they just got another one ....save your hard earned money for a professional, not these clowns.

I was a patient here because I thought they liked like a nice company. When I made my first appointment I just want a good teeth cleaning. I explained to their receptionist that I knew u needed my question teeth pulled and I would like time to be allowed in the visit for me to discuss my options. She took it upon herself to Make it an emergency appointment, which I didn't know about Until I got there, In this visit I was x - rayed and poked and prOded bit not once did I get a cleaning. so yet - again I make an appointment to get my teeth cleaned. This time their receptionist books me to see the oral surgeon once again with out my knowledge. when I arrived for the visit I was met by an arrogant oral surgeon who did not offer his name to me. I was backed into a Corner by every one in the office. I got 3 teeth pulled that day and I felt every one because he did not accept my request for gas. By the way still No teeth cleaning. When I Came back for My follow up they denied me a visit saying that something was wrong with my insurance. The only thing wrong was that they entered my Social security number wrong.Irecived no follow up care and no pain medicine or antibiotics. I had to deal with my mouth healing after 3 teem were pulled with no pain meds or after care. This place souls be restaffed or shut down.

I stopped by to see if I could become a new patient. It was obvious that they are just interested in taking the insurance for all they have (allegedly)!... I asked, How much for a detal cleaning? - the answer? "Depends what kind of insurance you have". My reply: "Really?" Answer: "Yes, I can't quote you"... This office is in need of some serious re-training or they will not get any new customers, at least as far as I'm concerened. I would like to ask that they reply to my comments/post/review. Please.

I had a 10:00 AM appointment at West Coast Dental in Paramount and arrived early at 9:45 AM. The receptionist, Mari, was kind and professional, and the waiting room, while clean, is pretty small and was full when I arrived. I wasn’t given any updates about delays until 10:35 AM, when Elizabeth brought me in for x-rays—she was also very kind and professional. After x-rays, I was sent back to the lobby to continue waiting. Around 11:00 AM, the manager (I believe her name is Nereida) approached me to ask if I wanted to reschedule. She explained they’re currently sharing space with an oral surgeon, which has increased wait times to up to two hours. As frustrating as that was to hear after waiting nearly an hour already, I really appreciated her honesty and respectful approach. Since my x-rays were already completed, she mentioned my wait time would be minimal when I return next week, which I appreciated. As someone who works in the medical field, I understand delays happen. Fortunately, I live nearby and was able to reschedule without much inconvenience. I’ll update my review after next week’s visit.
