I would give zero stars if I could. This place is horrible. Brought my son in a little over a year ago to get braces. Working in the healthcare setting myself I understand dealing with insurances sometimes can be a pain and take a bit longer but the only treatment they did after a year was his molding for braces. It was always “We will call you back”. I ended up going elsewhere, don’t know why I waited so long! Do better guys you have more bad reviews than good.

Update needed: the initial appointment was great but sadly we ended up leaving this clinic because at the next appointment I was asked to sign something saying I gave permission for the dentist/staff to restrain or use force if necessary. I was also not allowed to accompany the kids even though I explained they both have neurodivergence. Company policy says no. So I said no. Not going to happen. I still think the office staff were some of the friendliest I've encountered. Sadly company policy isn't ND friendly.

Worst dentist experience of my life - Dr. pushed for a gum cleaning procedure which cost $500. Spent no more than 15 minutes cleaning, then rushed me out the door. Dr. Treated the whole thing like a chore. Will never come back to a west coast dental.

The nurse kept coughing during the scan, leaving her mask below her nose. She put on gloves first and then used the mouse and keyboard. She opened a new cover but touched it after operating the computer. It was a very unpleasant experience—really disgusting.

I had a great experience going to West Coast Dental clinic. The front desk was very friendly and the wait time wasn’t long. When I went inside I was greeted by the staff. The lady who took my xray was extremely patient with me even though she had to go back and forth to check if the image came right, she was really sweet. Then I was asked to sit in the room and wait for the dentist. They were very mindful of the patients waiting in the rooms. Even though it was a busy day for them they were at their best. The dentist who examined my teeth was very polite. After that I was taken by the lady to her office to discuss the insurance. She was the nicest person I have met. She patiently listened to my queries and answered every thing in detail. Overall my experience from entering the clinic to exiting it was really pleasant. I would definitely recommend this place to all. Keep up the great work!

Hours later he sent me several rude text messages from his private phone number. I have complied by removing the review and will be getting a new dentist. Do not recommend this place, not sure what's going on here in this office. I've been waiting over 4 weeks to get my crowns put in, I've been on the temporary ones way too long. I am unable to chew on one side and the other temporary keeps chipping. According to the staff there my Dr. keeps calling out or has emergencies.?

Been coming here for many years, friendly staff start to finish, terrific pre appointment reminders etc. My latest visit was a simple X-ray and cleaning. Gave a 3 Star rating (vs. my usual 5) this visit because when the Dentist was finished doing my cleaning she just walked away. No ‘thanks for coming in, no see you next time’, no nothing. Being the single most important person involved here she left me feeling like I was just another number. Thankfully the hygienist who finished up was appreciative of my business, thanked me on my way out along with the X-ray technician, office manager and receptionist. Will I return? Definitely because they do good quality work. Hopefully my comments will be communicated to staff. Denny Valdez

Do not go here. I came here about 6 years ago to get a cavity filled and haven’t been able to chew on the right side of my mouth ever since, because I would get a shocking pain when I chew on that side. I went back to get it checked and it was the same dentist that did my filling, and of course she didn’t admit to anything being wrong she said everything was fine. I went to a second dentist and apparently she did the filling too close to my nerve and they tried to re-do the filling, but it hasn’t done anything to help the pain. Now, after a third opinion from another dentist the cavity got even bigger and now I’m in need of a root canal. Something that should have been simple is now going to cost me a couple thousand dollars.

Absolute horrible customer service and lack on consideration. Especially as new patients to that office. We arrived 15 mins before opening time which was also our appointment time of 9am. We did not get sent back for X-rays for almost 1.5hrs. We were also the second people signed in for a general appointment. We waited nearly 2.5 hrs before a doctor came in to do his exam. Then waited almost another 30mins for 1 child to get her cleaning and waited until that 1 hygienist was done before she could begin on the second child. Only one person continued to come in and check on us because she was concerned why we had been waiting for 2 hrs without anyone coming to follow up with us prior to the first and only exam, which was the xray tech. Not to mention, but it is necessary to note, that there were no waiting chairs in the exam room that we were holed up in for the majority of the time. I had to stand the entire time & my 5 yr old sat on the floor.Terrible customer service.As we were checking out the employee who was waiting outside for her coworker to arrive to open the office (845am) was also working the front desk and eating …it was already her lunch time I suppose by that time which was 12pm.

They always tell me they’re behind or short staffed, but they don’t seem to do anything to improve their system.

From the initial call the receptionist are always friendly and helpful. When I arrived for my appointment the front desk staff were nice and it’s nice to walk in and see smiley faces. Once I was called in the dental assistant made me feel comfortable with talking with me and making me feel welcomed. The doctor was professional and walked me through the whole procedure and made sure I understood everything clearly. The office manager explained what my insurance covered and what I was responsible for and made sure I had left with no questions. All in all the whole process from beginning to end is very professional and you leave feeling great. I have tried other dentist closer to home but I don’t mind driving 45-60 minutes depending on traffic to give them my business because it is well worth it. Thanks to all the staff at West Coast Monrovia for making my visit so pleasant. ????

I went to get some work done and I was charged for TWO full cleanings. Insurance would not cover because there is no reason why you would need that done TWICE AND the dential office could not provide the GUM test which they never did.I was sent back and forth between Delta Dental and the Dentist to figure out what code they needed to use. My moler broke and I was in sooo much pain I ended up paying $1600 just to have my moler fixed cause neither company cared about THEIR mistake.

Receptionist was great ... super easy online sign up . Unfortunately I don't have insurance and simply cleaning my teeth was going to cost me 150$ And to get 2 root canals they wanted to change me over 5 thousand. They don't have payment options besides starting pay of 2 thousand to get started . Luckily I found a dentist at TJ who will do the same job for $700

It was ridiculous that I was 1st to arrive, 3 people brought in before me, over 40 minute wait! I was a new patient looking for a good fit for dentistry. Not to mention that I waited over a week for an appointment. I better not be billed through my insurance as I will dispute it endlessly. Worst experience ever!!! My time is as valuable as the Dr's.

For those who see all of those 5 star reviews ...is because they were giving free electric toothbrushes to those who made one. Ive seen it done . Do not..I repeat DO NOT go here. Especially don't take your children Horrible service. Horrible office & personele. All they care about is money. Cannot provide you any clear explanations for what they need to do and why. Pushy pushy as it comes. Many of my family members have stopped going here and friends have even left with saying it's bad. It's so bad..that they rescheduled my sister multiple times..and then she comes in for a scheduled service. (Took over an hour to be seen to her SCHDUELED service)...sat down in her chair...numbed her up... and then proceeded to tell her that the dentist was busy and she won't be seen?! Like?...what?! I can't even wrapp my head about that.... Will guilt trip you into getting uneeded things done to your children. Even one of the assistants TRIED to tell me to not get something done on my son. When she left..the dentist then started showing Me horrific pictures of children's teeth. ( that had nothing go do with what was needed for my child) On top of that..CANT PROVIDE A SAFE .SECURE. AND COMFORTABLE environment for children. Please for the sake of your own peace and mind and security.... Do not go here. Or leave before you run into the same issues many before you have. Also guys...it's just a tooth brush. If you see this and are deciding to go here. ..just know... the 5 stars given are majoring from this past year. (When the toothbrushes were started being given)

I don't often do reviews but I had a great experience here, particularly with Dr. Evini. I've always had enamel issues with my two front teeth and have considered crowns to replace my two front teeth for over a decade. I always felt uncertain about it and when Dr. Evini showed me his work I decided to finally do it. I'm so happy with the results, my confidence has improved since getting my teeth fixed. The service I receive every appointment I have is very welcoming and accommodating.

I went with my 9 year old daughter to get her teeth cleaned and I was able to sit in the exam room for that appointment. When we returned for her fillings I was asked to wait in the waiting room, or the procedure will not happen. I'm sorry but this is 2024 and I'm not leaving anyone whom I don't know personally alone with my child while she is clearly in distress about the procedure. Call me a helicopter mom if you want, but after I asked a few employees if they would leave their child the way they were asking me. Their response was the same as mine. Do not bring your younger children here...

I love West Coast Dental of Monrovia. They are always kind, personable, and open to questions. They try to make things as convenient as possible, offering same day fillings if a simple check up isn’t as positive as you might have hoped; and they are upfront about there being a wait if you do choose to move forward same day. I’d give 4.5 if I could, only because sometimes the wait can be long and it is quite chilly in the office. Special shout out to Vanessa/Veronica (so sorry, I am terrible with names!) for listening to my concerns and going above and beyond to make sure I felt good about my cleaning and recommending Glide for ultra thin floss for my crowded teeth.

I had an appointment a few days ago at this office. My experience at this office was a positive one. I had a few questions regarding my insurance and co payments that needed to be clear. So I asked to speak to the manager. The manager Angela answered all of my questions in detail. She was professional, knowledgeable and answered all of my questions in detail which gave me a peace of mind. Also the front and back office employees are friendly and welcoming. I recommend this office for anyone who needs to see a dentist.

Scammers! The insurance lady was extremely pushy and took advantage of the fact i was younger and alone. She told me to sign up for a payment plan that ended up being a credit card and pressured me to check the agree boxes saying “its just to check how much your payment would be “ . Then the next week i was charged on that credit card without my consent and it severely affected my credit score. Dentist was also trying to upcharge me and was in rush. 3 hour appointment and they wouldnt even clean my teeth. Awful place overall.

I wish I could give 0 star. Terrible experience today. To the owner of the business, this might be an isolated instance but the processes in your office need to be seriously improved. From my perspective, the staff were not doing their jobs timely, the manager was not dealing with patients properly, and she was trying to cover their careless mistakes by blaming the insurance and by accusing the patients of not being nice even when the patients were mistreated in the first place. My 4 year old son saw the general dentist here in mid October and was referred to the specialist (who comes only once a month) for filling the cavities in the same office. Our appointment was today December 6th, 10 am and my son was asked not to eat or drink in the morning. We checked in at 9:45 am and no one called us until 11am. I saw patients on later appointments got treated before us, then I questioned the front desk about our status. I was told they are still on the phone with my insurance. I told them my son has not eaten or drunk this morning as they requested and asked if he can be at least diagnosed first. Front desk sent me to the manager, Angela. She explained to me that “you have a HMO, it is a discounted insurance…everything should get pre authorization”. I don’t know why she mentioned HMO is a discounted insurance, does that mean I should get a ‘discounted’ service? It has been over 6 weeks since our October appointment, we should get whatever pre authorization needed or at least be notified they haven't got it before today’s appointment! The manager asked me to pay the copay $50, I confirmed with my insurance it should be $45. But she insisted that if I pay $45, I will receive a bill for the balance. I asked if my son can get diagnosed first and I will pay at the front desk. She said no, this is the process. You have to pay first. Fine. At this point, my son has not drunk or eaten the entire morning and finally got x-rays around 12 pm. We did X-rays in Oct and was diagnosed cavities by that time already, but we did it again today! Same office, different dentists. And right after, we were told to come back again for the insurance to approve my son’s treatment. That means we waited 2 hour and half just for second time X-rays and we have to wait another month again for the treatment, because the specialist only comes here once a month. I questioned the whole process to the staff and all I complained was why they didn’t submit the request when we last visited in October and get it approved before our appointment but held us for 2 more hours of waiting. They know we have HMO insurance and we can’t get treatment right away until another approval, then why still asked my son not to eat or drink this morning? Do they think this is reasonable? Again I was asked to see the manager. I told the manager she was not being helpful and all she asked was to pay money first. Then the manager accused me of not being nice, yelling in the office, and insulting her. I am not sure what on earth I said could warrant this accusation? She finally apologized for the front desk lady not doing her job. I said, you should apologize earlier, instead of blaming my insurance and me. She sounds like she already apologized, I should accept it and go back to wait! I definitely don’t want to visit this office anymore and asked them to refer my son somewhere else. They gave me a form to fill out myself and told me to call my insurance to get a referral. I spent another 2 hours with the insurance company to solve the referral. If you have HMO like me, it’s generally the primary dentist's job to submit a specialist referral to insurance to get approval. The form they gave me was useless. The insurance company does not accept it. My insurance company finally sent them a referral form to be filled out and asked them to send it back. Let us wait and see how long it will take them to fill out and send back.

Your office is terrible. Been there twice. Both times I was seen way past my appointment time, and then sat in the dentist chair for over 30 minutes. Second time I walked out and rescheduled the appointment with the receptionist. I feel this is part of your culture because when I stood up to leave I asked a dental assistant if I should leave. She helped me take off my bib and said, I think so. Some dentists are also crazy unprofessional. While waiting in the chair the second time, two female dentists in the room next door chatted so loudly I felt they wanted to call everyone’s attention. The subjects were also inappropriate for a medical setting. Among the many crazy things they said I know one of them was being courted by a minority who wanted her to meet his mom. This was a big joke that had other dentists in stitches. To be honest, I thought I was part of a reality show and someone was gonna jump out any minute to film my reaction. But no, it was your insane reality. I also felt the services provided bordered in subpar, but I gave you two stars because of the front desk staff. They were very nice, and, appropriately, apologetic about the whole thing. In any case, I’m gonna go once more because I received a deep cleaning on my left side and the job needs to be finished on the right side. Hopefully I will be seen this century.

Everyone was really patient and hard working here. I loved the vibe that everyone gave and this is the first dentist I've willingly allowed to get near me because of how patient they were. If you flinch they stop and ask if you are okay and if you are they continue. They also have a movie or something playing in the waiting room while you wait to be called in. The Monrovia West Coast Dental is absolutely good. While I sat waiting I heard Dr. Mark, Ms. Patricia and a young girl who was scared and Dr. Mark was absolutely patient with her and waited til she was ready. I appreciate that this was done because as a kid when I was terrified of being at the dentist I would be held down. Thank you to the team that was there today helping me and my mom today (Patricia, Dr. Mark, Gaby, Yaritza, Angie and Lupe.) I used to be afraid of the dentist but the first time I visited I was welcomed by patient dentists. Thank you all for today.

I am really afraid of the dentist and have been putting off going for years. I finally was brave enough to go and made an appointment. The staff at this office was so nice and kind that it made my experience so much better than I experienced in the past at other offices. The staff explained everything that was going to happen and made sure I was comfortable during the entire visit. After waiting for 45 minutes in the chair, my doctor did not treat me because I did not want x-rays. When I was under the impression that I was just getting my teeth cleaned. I already know what work I need done to my teeth but cannot pay for it at the moment so I did not feel that I needed more x-rays. When I asked the hygienist why I need an x-ray she couldn’t answer my questions. The doctor and the hygienist talked about me behind my back as if I couldn’t hear them saying that I wasn’t cooperating when I just simply was asking questions. As someone who already has a lot of anxiety about coming to the dentist I will not be coming back here. Unfortunately, my son already started to get his orthodontic treatment here or else I wouldn’t bring him back either.

Do Not Recommend this office for Dental work. They told me I needed an Extraction and a deep cleaning. For one; I got a second opinion that told me they could SAVE my tooth. Second; west coast dental never sent my authorization for my deep cleaning and scheduled me an appointment anyway. I took the day off work to go to cleaning appointment and was denied because they forgot to send it in! Incompetent!!! Don’t Recommend this place! Also , No Apologies!

Well you can improve by communicating better to your client so they’re well prepared before their visit. Today for example I had an 8:30am appointment with the surgeon for a painful impacted wisdom tooth I have been suffering with for some time now. I came in Monday prior to today and had a whole discussion of what was to come. Today, I was completely blindsided when asked how I was to make a payment for my procedure. I’m aware medi-cal covers tooth removal so I was confused. Last minute I hear the surgeon refuses to remove my impacted wisdom tooth without a bone graft. Also that the bone graft of course is not covered and it will be 450 dollars out of pocket. I was not prepared to pay anything today just to be free of this pain. So unprofessional. I will never be returning and will also find another dentist for my children. We will not be coming back.

The staff was clueless about I forming me through my visit what to expect. It took over 2 hours to finish my first time cleaning and X-rays even though I showed up 15 minutes early. The teeth cleaning itself was poor and unacceptable. You’re lucky my insurance covered this visit or else I’d really submit a larger complaint with money back request.

The dentists here are really great. They take the time to explain the treatments and treatment plans to you and make sure you understand. I had the best deep cleaning I've ever had here. I would always leave my old dentist in pain and confused but I havent had any bad experiences yet! Wait times can be a little long, but it's worth it to know they care about their patients. Dr. Haffar and Mary Beth are amazing! They had me laughing throughout my appointment and truly eased my dentist related anxiety. Thank you so much!

The front staff was not friendly. When we made our appointment the previous day they didn't schedule the cleaning I had asked for . They also talked rudely about us to other staff while we were in ear shot. We 100% would not recommend this office to anyone and will discourage anyone we know to come here. My appointment was at 9am. I didnt get seen until after 10am. I was in the office for about 3 hours, out of the 3 hours I was probably only seen for about 30minutes. Went it with a temporary bridge that fit fine, left with an uneven bite and no temporary covering my exposed tooth extraction area. Told dental assistant the bite was uneven so they proceeded to flatten the temporary, causing an even more uneven bite because the top teeth doesnt fit into a flat area on the temporary. Left with more problems than when I went in. I had already been there 3 hours so I figured Id just deal with the uneven bite until I return in 3 weeks. Not looking forward to returning. Terrible experience overall, and just want to complete my work so I don’t have to return.

I had a molar break in half. This dentistry took me right in. They performed the needed x-rays right in the same chair. The Doctor was a magician with the numbing needle. I didn’t feel a thing. They set me up with a temporary crown, and a few weeks later being today I returned for the permanent crown. Every one there was courteous and friendly. I’m very pleased with the professionalism. From the moment I walked in everyone at West Coast Dental of Monrovia was very kind and professional. The Front Office, the Dental Assistant who took the digital images as well as the X-ray Technician, the Dentist, the Dentist Assistant, and Finance Manager, she has a great sense of humor which I totally appreciated when we were discussing my financial responsibility. Everyone answered my questions, made sure I understood everything, and they all made me feel cared for, from the begining of my appointment, not once did I feel like I was being rushed through my appointment. I was in a lot of pain and scared to go in for a check up but once I got in the receptionist Yaritza made me feel welcomed and like I was at home she was helpful and got my paperwork done real fast. Once I got to the back the assistant Lupe and Diana were very helpful from x-rays to helping me with the doctor, then the manager Jose was amazing at explaining what the doctor said I needed to get done he helped me understand why it was needed and helped me with payment options. I had a couple of extractions done I will be back for the rest of what doctor recommended thank you guys for all the help ^(^.^)^

Lies about what is that you have to pay. My dental insurance said they covered my bone graph. The office did not tell the truth. Told me it would be 350 each tooth for each tooth. I called my insurance and they said it covers that bone graph. They kept asking for money. My daughter is an adult and she witnessed that they lied. The insurance representative even said if we get 300 dollars today the specialist would do it. But, I called back and they said so do a grievence they didn’t even send in the paper work since they haven’t receive anything for this year at all. Basically I would put no stars.

Doctor Edward has excellent manners and screens you for everything that’s good you. The front desk people are fantastical. However, only one dental assistant is happy and makes me feel comfortable the rest of the the x ray person has no manners and speaks in a rude not a rude manner but abrasive. So today I found out that medical insurance covered everything. But, they didn’t want to send in paper work, I called my dental insurance plan and they said my Bone graph would be paid for all. They GT the surgeon said he could do it today if I paid 350.00 a tooth. My daughter is a witness to all this. The person that reviews the insurance and does all the paper work even asked me if I could pay half he would do it right away. I don’t have the money so I said no. They did even send in the paperwork when I called they didn’t send in the X-ray they just they when I said my insurance said to send in X-rays and they would approve it she said the doctor said he didn’t do bone graphs she lied and they lied about the money. They didn’t even send in any request ever for anything since 2020 and even then there were no X-ray or a bone graph request. This West Coast dental company are ripen off scammers. My daughter is an adult and we will make sure they won’t do this to anyone else again. Zero stars really.

Usually the visits take forever !!!!! My appointment can be at 8am and we won’t leave until 1030 for a basic cleaning . But this time… it went quick we were out with in an hour . Again for a basic cleaning. Beth was awesome, she held a conversation with my 10 yr old and made him feel super at ease. She started a conversation with myself as well. Beth was great! Beth went above and beyond for my kid and I really liked that .

I knew the minute that I walked in the door that I was in the right place. The girls at the reception desk were so friendly and helpful and smiling faces. After my initial examination, Calo did my teeth cleaning. And he did an incredible job. Not only was he friendly and knowledgeable, and put me at ease immediately.. he did an extraordinarily wonderful job cleaning my teeth. From now on he will be the only one that cleans my teeth. I've already let the receptionist know that when I go back for my next visit that he will be the one that cleans my teeth. I absolutely had a wonderful experience all the way around at this office. My first time there and they gave a wonderful first impression.

I am a patient for the Invisalign treatment. They had given me the appointment to come in for 12/1/22; today. They are not open. I was given the card to come for my check up/progress. To get more of my Invisalign and rubber bands. I called the number on the door and was told no one was here at the location and that they were closed for business today. And the women on the phone that helped me was confused on why it was given if they are not open. The fact that this was given by the manager of the location and was still was given wrong. There is no possible way you couldn’t have checked a calendar. As so could have I, there is no solution to which I was told to come back the next day or wait until the actual dentist was available. I had to call off of my job,and missed my class to come do my responsibility of getting more of my treatment done. There is no way of getting around this place. I will be calling and coming again tomorrow to get this done. The women on the phone also mentioned to me that I was noted for Dec. 5. No one from the office ever reached out to tell me that. Nor was there a reminder card given for that date. Then only card I had been given was Dec. 1,2022. There needs to be an format of checking these dates on their calendars. Unbelievable that this had to happen. No sort of respect to peoples time. I emailed this to customer service. This is not the only 1 star review. What a disappointment for everyone that comes here. Now I’m stuck till I get this treatment done.

First time went in and it'll be the last. All they want is money from what I perceived from the finance lady who was rude like she had no time to explain and upset because I didn't want to pay the whole cost of the procedure at that moment. I was just going for a consultation I didn't expect all this money to be spent that same day. Than when I got a prescription from the Dentist, his assistant had asked me what pharmacy and I mentioned and wrote the CVS that's near which he knew already. The Assistant said it'll be ready an a hour. Went and drove after couple hours to the Pharmacy and nothing was ordered in. I called this West Coast Dental place the next day after and talked to reception and said she'd call me back. After 3 hours thought I call in again. This time they put me on hold for 10 min. Hanged. Called again than another clerk said they did talk to the pharmacist and put the order in and also that the Dentist wasn't available to prescribe any orders anymore because he wasn't available that day and here I am in pain. During this whole time I'm frustrated calling the Pharmacist and West Coast Dental back and forth. I called again and this time another receptionist answered and finally she was able to put the order in. Seems that theirs plenty of young receptionist who don't really care and in general. Should of paid more attention to the reviews before going.

They "tried calling" but didn't update my number from when I was there the previous week and wrote my new number down for them to change 2. I came to your office as a new patient to do my routine cleaning and oral examination. The doctor suggested deep cleaning. I prefer regular cleaning, but they refused to do a regular cleaning which was so strange to me. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with the way I was treated and I am going to report this in social media in a hope that their manager/director hears how they are treating new customers.

Wish I never paid in full for braces. My son has been with braces now for 5 years. And still not where he needs to be. Ortho is only available once a week and it’s difficult getting an appointment. This has contributed to longer than normal wait times for an appointment especially if you need to reschedule. Also I don’t know how many orthodontists he has had over the last 5 years. There is no continuation of care. Frustrated, upset, dissatisfied, disappointed, fed up! Sad for my son….. Don’t bring your kids here unless you want braces on twice as long as normal…

2 hour wait time. I have an allergy to codeine, I wrote it on my paperwork. After the exam and finding out I had a pretty bad infection causing my 8/10 pain, I asked Dr Spurgeon, after he turned away and was ready to walk out, if I needed any antibiotics for this infection and can I have something for pain. He asked if I had any allergies, I told him codeine. He proceeded to call in Tylenol with codeine and amoxicillin. I called the office and informed them, for the third time, I have an allergy to codeine (I know, it’s getting old at this point) I was told extra strength Tylenol would be called in. I said don’t call that in, I can buy it OTC. Mary Gonzalez, the office manager, assured me it was not OTC Tylenol and to pick up the medication. NOTHING was called in. This place is a joke run by absolute clowns.?

Do NOT waste your time coming here. My appointment was at 10 AM, I arrived 10 minutes early as advised, didn’t get taken in until 10:50 AFTER I said something, and I waited in the dentist chair for ANOTHER HOUR just for him to tell me someone would come and talk to me about the cost of a SIMPLE TEETH CLEANING! Mind you, the whole time the dentist was bouncing around from patient to patient, which is just disgusting no matter the protocol. Then some lady came and tried to give me her sales pitch on something I don’t need, then proceeded to tell me the cost of the cleaning which was so obsurd and overpriced I had to walk out. Just don’t waste your time like I did, just a shameful money grab.

My appointment was for 3pm. I got there at 2:45 as recommended. I was not brought to a dental chair until 4pm. They didn’t start the cleaning of my teeth until 4:45. If they’re going to be so late they should notify me so I don’t get there so early. I’m very upset at there unprofessional way of conducting business. This is not the first time, and unfortunately it probably won’t be the last. I hope this report will help rectify the issue.

Horrible experience and waste of my time. I came to West Coast Dental after moving to Monrovia from another state. I was established as a new patient and during my first cleaning with them, the dentist broke one of my bottom permanent retainer brackets. He insisted it would be a “simple” fix that Ortho would handle at a future appointment that was scheduled for a week later. Thus bringing us to today, I go in for the ortho appointment to fix the broken bracket in my retainer, only to wait for over 40 mins in the waiting room and then be asked by one of the assistants about getting braces on. They didn’t even know what I was there for. Then, I was examined by the actual orthodontist who continuously questioned why I was in and what happened. He then said that he would “have” to charge me if he fixed it so he recommended me waiting to have the dentist do it (that ORIGINALLY BROKE IT TO BEGIN WITH!) and come in for a 3RD APPOINTMENT! Truly the most unprofessional and inefficient dental office I’ve been to. Save your time and go somewhere else.

I dread Beyond dread coming here because every time I come and it’s a simple check up it’s an hour and a half wait and things haven’t changed and it’s not because of the pandemic because this was happening before the pandemic. It’s ridiculous how i’ve gone three times for the same issue and all three times I wait an hour and a half just for my dentist to tell me they have to go through my insurance and see what it says because I was declined which I was never even informed until I had to call. And it’s funny how they’re really good about calling you for your six month check up but they’re not good about calling you saying hey whatever needed to be approved wasn’t approved we need you to come in and do the process all over again. My appointment this morning was at 8 AM I was not seen by the doctor until 930 and I talked to him for maybe five minutes and that was it.

Waited 1 hr in the lobby with my mom who has Alzheimer and had specifically told the receptionist since I made the 1st appointment.

I noticed that on the days the orthodontist shows they schedule too many consultations. I was scheduled go get the braces started and I ended up waiting 2 hours from 16:00-18:00 for the manager to tell me that they won’t be seeing me today. Because they close at 18:00. I was patiently waiting meanwhile they would call up other consultations before me who had appointments after mine. I noticed that my name was highlighted with 2 other names in the middle of the page when the waiting list was almost filled. But one family was able to go in and which their family name appeared to be Hunter and the other 2 which had Spanish last names including mine were still outside waiting. It looked like they were showing priority to the one Caucasian family over the Hispanic families. It was until 17:30 that I approached the front desk and I asked if they would be seeing me today to get the procedure started and the employee said yes and that they close at 18:00. Then I asked how long the procedure takes and she indicated that it takes one hour. I still waited all the way to closing and they never called me in but to speak to the manager.

We have checked with Walgreens , but no prescription was sent to the pharmacy. Even the manager assured us that the medication sent already . I won’t recommend this office .

Was very easy and quick to schedule appointment, got my daughter seen with in 9 hours, but after that, they made me separate from my daughter and I had to wait in the lobby while they took the x-ray, said I couldn't go in, my 6 year old girl had to go in alone, due to the pandemic... It's 2022 and everyone who wants to be vaccinated, IS, I think this was ridiculous, my previous dentist allowed my whole family to stay together, and that was towards the end of 2020, I'm not comfortable with doing that again, my daughter had a tooth ache and also needed and annual check up/cleaning, they diagnosed the tooth ache but said they wanted to schedule another appointment to get a second opinion from a specialist, they didn't even bother to do the annual check/clean, they said the specialist will do it. So far I'm not too impressed..

A couple months ago I brought my son in for a cleaning. The dentist told me my son couldn’t have a cleaning because he needed to see an endodontist for a root canal. Took him to get the root canal and brought him back after that was healed to have his cleaning. Was told after being there for an hour that he needs to see some other specialist to get his teeth cleaned. I was told he needed to see the specialist because of the tooth the endodontist fixed. don’t understand why they made the cleaning appointment if they couldn’t do the cleaning. They should’ve set him up with the other specialist when I made the appointment. Complete waste of time.

I cannot say much about other’s experience but for me, they are pretty thorough with their work and takes time with each patient. I’ve been going here for 2 years now. The dentists and assistants are good. Their hands are light when working with my teeth. Taking the X-rays are pretty fast and smooth transition. I rated 5 stars because they explained what Possible treatments I might need and they are pretty straight forward with a sprinkle of niceness. Will review more in the future for updates.

I told them I was deaf n difficult understanding with wearing masks so they were ok removing their mask n communicate with me better.. They even helped me with other stuff needed.. I would not recommend this office for kids. We had to switch dentists because this is one of the few places around us that takes our insurance. My boys were always confortable with visiting the dentist but took them to Westcoast Dental Monrovia and they do not want to go back. Nurse took my seven year old to take his x-rays while I waited for him outside. Then he was told to sit inside by himself and wait to be seen by the doctor. He waited about fifteen minutes and came out crying cause he waited too long and no one was telling him what was going on. Once seen by the Dr. and person that did their cleaning, they did not even try to engage with my kids to make the visit less stressful. I do have to say Lupe one of the dental assistants was very kind. My boys were used to getting a service appropriate for their age and unfortunately they do not have that there.

I can’t even leave a review based on procedure cause we never got seen! After an hour wait the front desk was uncertain when I’d actually see the dentist. He suggested I reschedule my 6 year old sons appointment. It took a bit of reassurance to my son that he was in good hands all to be rescheduled? No thank you. At the very same time my friend took her kids and it took them an hour for an X-ray and even without a single cavity said they had to send her to a specialist for a simple cleaning. Would not ever recommend, take your business and money with a place that cares about you.

waited 1hr and 20 minutes in the chair of the dentist waiting for the DR, to look at my teeth because I had tooth pain and walked out with them wanting $6,000+ to fix my teeth. I called me insurance to see why this wasn't being covered. I do had coverage, seems like they sent bad X-rays again. found another dentist they were able to get this work done with my insurance. I Don't recommend this dentist.

I go here because its close. They mess up often. Randomly close with zero notice for the patients, and I wait in the parking lot for my appointment.. and later I'm told I missed the appointment. But they weren't even open. Today was " Oh lets clean your teeth" and they did, and then later I'm told " "Oh, we need to charge you $300 for that, you're not covered". No thank you. There are many more examples of their mistakes. Like I said, Its a location of convenience. If you can deal with mediocre service, and are okay with dealing with inconveniences, then you'll be ok here.

Horrible! I was emailed confirmation on 3/11/21 for my 9am Saturday appointment. Filled out online registration, printed forms. Was dropped off at 8:45am, waited...waited...waited. Checked Google listing of location, shows office opens @ 10am. @ 9:30am Called their helpful 866# and was disconnected by operator, called again and different operator says, "we left you a voice mail on 3/11, the office is closed today. Would you like to reschedule?" Welp! With me being home all the time and life not so busy, I definitely would have picked up a call. But none arrived, they are lying now!? Oh, we called the wrong # would be next lie. What jokers! I told operator, no thank you on reschedule, notes are incorrect. I would not trust West Coast Dental to work on my mouth now, not worth the all this distrust.

Staff not friendly or eager to help customers. Find dentist cold and indifferent to patient's need. First time cleaning was so lousy I had to complain to have it redone. Second time they pushed for 'special cleaning' which quoted $450. I asked for regular cleaning and they said my dental plan only is prophylactic and they will only give a polishing. I left.

I would totally come here again. The staff was very professional and friendly. From the moment i entered i was greeted by Jose who was at the front desk. He checked me in and provided me with paper work to fill. He was very kind and the best part is i was seen right away and they looked busy. The manager Amanda was very nice and she explained everything very thoroughly when explaining everything to me about my insurance and coverage she was very honest and clear and i didn’t feel like she was money hungry i loved that she wasn’t pushy at all like other dentist offices. Another thing that i liked was that they were very clean and organized when working with patients. If you need a place to go this is the place. Plus i felt like their prices were reasonable and they were willing to work with what i decided to do. I plan on bringing my father here asap i know he’s going to be well taken care of and happy with his results.

If I could've given zero if I could have. I want in with a swollen jaw, and severe jaw pain. I left with a subscription for ibuprofen and a plan for 3k in plans. F#ck this place. They are evil people feeding off of people in pain. My jaw was crazy swollen, while this was happening they asked me to get a cleaning. I said I don't want anything like that while the pain is this intense.... No response. Seriously, this place needs to be shut down.

In September 2018 I got my teeth cleaned and then I asked for an estimate for braces I decided to get braces and I was happy with the service when I went back so they can put the bottom braces on it was overbooked and a worker lost her temper and told the customer if he wanted to take it outside. Then every month I was doing my payments but they would always clean the wire and put spacers for several months I kept going back just to get my wires clean and put new spacers I got fed up and told them when were they going to put the metals so I can tighten them they said next visit so I stopped paying them because I tried making a complaint but I just got sent to collections till this day I only have my brackets on and still paying them because they won’t see me until I pay it off in full smh

Worst experience of my life! I have visited this office THREE TIMES in one week only to keep getting referred. If the office is not equipped to handle a child with special needs, that should be addressed prior to scheduling the appointment!!! Each visit is something different. Not to mention, the last visit I just had today (11/23/2020) I had to assist the staff with x-rays. And it wasn’t my son that was causing problems with x-rays, I had to be the person to take the picture!!! Completely unprofessional and a waste of my time. The only thing good about this visit was the receptionist. And I’m not the only one that has complained, there were other patients waiting outside complaining as well.

NOTE: they overbook during COVID-19 expect a long wait time (even with appointment) below is my story Ridiculously long waiting time just for a CLEANING. My appointment was at 10am and I came in exactly on time, waited for 2 hours then at 12pm the doctor only saw me for 3-5 minutes. Around 12:30pm my anxiety started acting up because it's about to be 30 minutes till 3 hours of me waiting for a CLEANING and it wasn't until I started complaining that someone finally saw me and my cleaning took only 5-9 minutes. A total of 2 hours and 40 minutes here for about 10 minutes of service. If you're with insurance please call your provider and go somewhere else I'm sharing my story because they are not attentive towards their patients and the cleaning I received was rushed and un-thorough. I hope others don't have to go through the same experience and they improve their scheduling and organizational skills.

Don't know why this place has bad reviews they where incredible. Every person that helped me from the front desk to evey nurse in the place that stepped up and tried to help me because I had a gag reflex. Yesenia the nurse there was my rock helped me get my exrays done and kept checking up on me the whole time I was there. Even though she wasnt nurse assigned to me for xrays or for my extraction. Chris the nurse that was assigned to me kept encouraging me through the whole procedure letting me know we where almost finished was very thoughtful and helpful. The dentist Christopher Spurgeon went out of his way to find me a bucket incase i needed to through up. Christopher was quick fast nice and understanding of my situation. I was terrified comin in thinking people where going to get mad at me because I'm terrified of dentist and because of my gag reflex but they all made it so easy that it put me at ease and I ended up not gagging much and being in and out quick and no longer in pain. Love this place will be going back to do more work soon.

Genuinely the worst dentist office I've been to. They do not listen and refuse to adhere to parents wishes for special needs children. I've never waited less than 2 hours and staff is too busy talking and on their phones when they should be focused on the patients.They also always WAY overcharge and do unnecessary work. They wanted to charge $900 for my child and when I explained my insurance wouldn't cover they said I could just go ahead and pay them. I took my child to another dentist and not only was the charge only $130, my insurance covered it completely. I don't know how West Coast Dental is still open.

The one thing I noticed and dislike about this dental office, is how they *always* try to up sell you on their services. They told me I needed a crown on one tooth, but I told them I can’t afford the $950 they’re wanting to charge me, and requested for a filling instead. They said they can’t do a filling because it’s a liability to the dentist if anything happens to the tooth. I went to get a second opinion from another dentist and was told I could just get a filling on the tooth. They did the same thing to my daughter before. They said she needed some kind of expensive treatment coz there’s potential cavity on 5 of her teeth. She walked out of that office without the cleaning she originally went there for coz she refused the “treatment”. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

It is always a stressful situation seeing a dentist. This office however made it more time consuming and a bit alarming then it had to be. My appointment was set for Thursday at 1130 for a extraction. Had to wait so long because they say that the surgeon only comes in once a month. Unless I paid 450 for a post the regular dentist could remove it right away. I was not going to pay that ludicrously outrageous fee. So since I didn’t pay it, they let me leave with the same issue and in pain for over a month till the surgeon was there. I arrive at 1105am, lots of people there. Waiting room full and about 8-10 people standing outside waiting. 1200 comes around so I go ask how much longer? My appointment was at 1130. She says one person ahead of me. Which was not true cause there were people that said they have been waiting for the surgeon for over 4 hours!!!! I have no choice so I wait and wait and wait. Finally one hour and forty five minutes after my scheduled appointment they call me in. Quick in and out. As soon as they were done I ran for the door. Way too many people in this office for comfort. I don’t have any doubt now that this place is totally wrong for what they did to me and they should be investigated by the Board. I’m going to contact them and file a complaint. Basically they are using your awful pain too take your cash. Awful in these Pandemic Times.

I went there last week. It was a 2 hour wait. I was in excruciating pain. I was seen, then I waited an extra 30 minutes to speak to someone about the pricing. I never talked to the person. I had to leave due to an emergency. They told me, i should be getting a call about the pricing. I never received the call. On top of that, I never got any pain meds and I'm still in pain. This place is horrible. I have no choice but to go to them due to Covid 19..Since my dental place is closed????

I took my son to see dentist, we were waiting almost 3 hours to see dentist, the other patient was waiting for 4 hours. they told me they only have 1 dentist on that day, then why they overbooked patients, guess just want money from insurance. me and my son didn't eat anything and kept waiting, dentist only checked my son teeth for 2 mins said will need schedule appointment to pull out one of his loosing teeth. that's it, 2 mins......they said need wait another month to schedule, I am done, I have never ever experienced like this, wasted my time!

I have one BIG issue with this outfit , you never get the same dentist doctor it’s always someone new and they always ask you if this is your first visit . I am thinking to switch again .

Got a call that said my Medi-Cal was approved and to come in for my fillings. I showed up after an hour and a half the dentist came in said ok so let me refresh myself ... totally understood that but then said let me go see if medical approved... confused I waited 30 mins later a lady walked in and was talking about a root canal and paying 950 for a crown ... I told her you called me saying my fillings were approved come in I wait two hours with no one even touching my teeth and start talking about a completely different thing. She said oh you need fillings done? ... so she looked that up and then I said look I want the fillings so how long will that take she said up to an hour and a half. They are just super unorganized poor customer service and to wait two hours with them completely lost was baffling. I only have two days off to handle things and to be told I’d be at the dentist for 5 hours or more was disrespectful in my opinion.

Absolute waste of time. Hours wasted no work ever done. Stay away at all cost. They're just charging the visits to your insurance company without actually doing any work that they know won't be approved. 3 times they had me come in and waste 2+ hours waiting, then doing xrays(again!) Just to tell me I needed a deep cleaning. That is what the appointments were supposed to be. But when i told them they said it needed to be resubmitted for approval AGAIN. 3 strikes you're out. Never going back. That's 4 visits and 6+ hours wasted and still no cleaning. (Something my insurance already told me would be 100% approved.) I hope this saves the reader their time and frustration. If you still decide to go, I hope you have much better luck than me.

Complete waste of time. Scheduled everyone for the same time. 2 hours later to never ever get the free cleaning. I wonder how much this is going to cost again . What good is insurance if you have to wait 4-6 weeks to get approved only not to and waste more time. Always feels like going to a car lot . Just once to get my free cleaning would be a miracle.

Even making the appointment over the phone, they told me that I can do my visit first and they would help change my dentist for my HMO (never happened so I had to wait another month to do it myself). Also, they told me that I can fill out a form online but I still had to fill out the paper form when I came back the second time. My first visit there and they told me that I needed like a deep clean called reg-something which my insurance, of course, doesn't cover it and it would cost $220. My sister told me that they told her the same thing too! You go through at least 3 people before meeting the dentist (two for x-ray and one for like recommendations); so too many salesmen, I believe. The lady who told me about the deep cleaning-thing also suggested braces (what's a 29 year-old want to do that?!). I decided to forget the cleaning and ended up buying their $40 oral rinse that they recommended also. I felt gyped!

My appointment was at 9 am for my child and they told us he had to be on an empty stomach for the procedure, my son did not get seen by the dentist until around 12:30 pm. They new he hadn’t eaten the entire day and they kept seeing other people that got there after us instead of seeing us first since our appointment was earlier. When I asked them how much longer they would keep saying “he’s next”, but they kept calling other people. Then one of the dental assistants said that someone kept moving my sons chart around so that’s why it kept taking longer to see him. They are very unorganized and not patient centered at all they are rude and obviously only care about the money not the patients.

West Coast Dental Monrovia is the absolute worst, the worst customer service and worst dental service. I had work done here that didn’t last. Then when I came back to get it fixed, because it was covered under their policy, they tried to charge me.On top of that I have had two fillings they did that fell out. I have tried multiple times to be in contact with their “office manager” who is never in the office coincidently and never responds to any messages. I am still waiting on them one year later to contact me as they said they would to correct the work that is so poorly done by them. I would not recommend a single person to go here. On top of that the doctors are just looking to take your money. I spent about 3 hours in this office waiting one day and the dentist told every single patient, all different ages that all their issues were from grinding their teeth. He than began to suggest that they need additional work and night guards costing a ton. Funny thing when I got to my turn(multiple hours later because they don’t value your time) he proceeded to tell me the same exact thing and told me I had to get a mouth guard all of which costing at few hundred dollars, mind you this was all told to me before he even asked what I was in for. I believe it’s complete fraud and I am reporting them to better business and also to anywhere else I can. People are going here for help and instead are being taken complete advantage of. Also when I initially got work done I was charged for multiple things that never even got done, completely taken Advantage of.

Very disappointed?. My appointment was at 5pm. I was there 10 min. Before my appointment time. It was already 630pm, they hadn't even called me in yet. I came straight from work. I know theh would take another 1 hour inside. So i decided to leave. I'm never coming back to this office. They schedule so many patients at a time when they only have one dr in office.

This is the worth experience I ever have. I go there today and my wife was told that your daughter will have some dental work done with specialist so I went today after waiting 48 minuets. All of the sudden they said oh no we have to take X-ray first. And then get approve from my insurance. It was really frustrating but I said okay while my daughter taking X-ray. I decided to take couple photos for my daughter. Then this lady doctor came out of no where with very rude looking face. And order me not to take photos. I said excuse me. That my daughter I can take photo of here she said that my patient and that my facility. I said wait minutes that should be corporation dental group. Not private office so I got really mad and took my daughter and left. I won’t recommend it

The deep cleaning is a regular cleaning, that takes few minutes to do it. I used to pay $60. with my dentist (sadly he retired); in this clinic is $600. Only one doctor in the office. I spent 3 hours just waiting to be seen, doctor knew I was there ( I was the only one) waiting but he took off for lunch. On the contrary , they were fast to charge near $2,000 ahead of time. I was ready to take off but I remembered I was forced to sign a lot of paperwork and paid for the service in advance. Hard to find a good dentist that takes his time to explain the procedure and makes you feel confident.

Long waits. No privacy. Every dentist has their own ‘approval’ recommendations. Such as authorizations from your surgeon if you’ve had ANY surgery in the past 2 years!! WHAT?! I couldn’t get a teeth cleaning bc I had a surgery last year? But they cleaned my teeth 6 months ago w NO issues and NO approval process. And they were going to give me a bone graphing procedure 3 days ago w NO approval paperwork or process... it makes zero sense. When asked they said ‘every doctor has their own recommendations’. Ok well thank you for wasting my time. And should I be concerned that you didn’t get an approval from my surgeon 6 months ago when you cleaned my teeth, or when you didn’t ask for one 3 days ago when you were about to slice into my gums and do bone graphing? Come on, let’s be consistent. It’s either an issue or not. I have to wait for an orthopedic surgeon to sign off on a dental cleaning, then clear my schedule to come back? Simply ridiculous. I’m not having mouth surgery. If this was weeks after my surgery, I could understand, but this is a little overboard.

I hate to add a negative review, but I feel compelled to explain my experience with this office. I have been to this office 3 times now and each time it gets stranger. My initial visit was for a cleaning and a night guard. However, the first thing that happened was someone from the front office came over and asked me to sign paperwork for a deep cleaning. She asked me to sign this paperwork before anyone had looked at my teeth, so I was a little confused. At the same time, I overheard her assistants telling all the other patients there that they needed deep cleanings as well. I was able to hear their conversations because the dentist chairs are all in the same room, separated by little dividers. That's when I noticed every dental chair also has two posters detailing the deep cleaning procedure. Perhaps it was a coincidence that all of us needed this procedure, but I doubt it. I should clarify, I don't think deep cleaning is bad, but it is more out of pocket. I told them I wasn't interested in it at this time but would be open to discussing it with the dentist during another appointment. After a lot of back and forth, I finally said I wasn't prepared for the out of pocket that day and they finally relented. I opted into the night guard and the regular cleaning. Upon leaving the front desk gave me an appointment card to return for my night guard in two weeks. I asked her to also call me to confirm it came in and she said she would. Two weeks later I came in for my second visit. I hadn't received a phone call about the night guard, but I figured that was an oversight. I had the appointment, so I came in and sat in the waiting room for 10 minutes. I had this nagging feeling I should ask them to check before I wait longer so I did. That's when the front desk informed me that my night guard had not come in. Having only wasted 10 minutes I gave them a pass and asked them to call me when it came in. Again, they said they would, and I left. Several weeks later I received a phone call that the night guard had arrived. On the day of my appointment, I was called into work, so I had to cancel. I called the dentist early that morning to ask if my wife could pick up the night guard. The woman on the phone said she wasn't sure and would call me back after she spoke with her supervisor. I never received a call. Later that afternoon my wife was running an errand in the area so I asked her to stop in and see if she could pick it up. I informed her that I was waiting for a callback and they might not be able to give it to her. When my wife inquired about the night guard the ladies at the front desk yelled at her and told her they already told me that she could not pick it up. I later called their office to speak to a supervisor who wasn't there during the altercation with my wife and the front office manager. I asked for clarification on why I needed an appointment to pick up my night guard. She couldn't tell me why other than I needed to be there. I offered this explanation by asking, do I need to sign something like a liability waiver in case it doesn't fit or damages my teeth for some reason? She said yes that's probably it. It's a little concerning she wasn't able to give me a better explanation than my guess, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt, knowing she wasn't a dentist nor the hygienist. I made an appointment to come in the next morning at 9am. This morning, I showed up for my appointment. I waited for 50 minutes until one of the lower level assistants informed me that the night guard wasn't in yet. Visibly upset, I tried to remember that it wasn't this girl’s fault. I was already late for work, so I gave her a brief recap of the situation, wrote down my number, and asked her to have her supervisor call me. I then left. About an hour later I got an email and a text asking me to review my experience. Hence this review. I will update this when this saga is finally over.

Just had my wisdom teeth ? taken out(all 4) and every single staff member did such a great job . They ladies in the front(Priscilla), and everyone else who helped me . I was the only one that came out crying not because it hurt just that is my reaction to hearing the noises, but it did not hurt one bit, it was really fast and they did such a good job explaining everything. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! Thank you ? for everything.

Predatory dentist. They will agree to anything on the phone to get you in their chair. After a 2 hour visit they want to do everything except what you came for. Be very careful here. They totally upset my wife who was promised a solution, only to be given a complete exam and then a quote for thousands when what she wanted was just a repair.

Initial visit was excellent. Went in because of impacted wisdom tooth which was infected. Filled about three cavities, did one small extraction after a bunch of x-rays. They informed me that they would need a referral from DentalCal to extract the wisdom tooth and for deep cleaning. This was on the 21st of October of 2018. As of January 30th and numerous calls to West Coast Dental and DentalCal and on my 3rd series of antibiotics for infection, still had not received authorization for the extraction. Between the office staff and DentalCal, couldn't seem to get the authorization to proceed. I informed them on January 30th 2018 I was going to see another dentist and picked up a copy of my x-rays. I was told by the new dentist that you don't need a referral for wisdom teeth extraction or deep cleaning and I'm having my wisdom tooth pulled on February 7th. Hopefully the office staff we'll get up to speed on the correct procedures required from DentalCal so future clients won't have to wait 4 months to have a procedure done in a timely manner.

This place is terrible. I scheduled a 5:00 appointment and they did not take me in until 5:45. When they finally took me in, they took my x-rays and then sent me back to the waiting because they told me “we need to wait for more available rooms.” This bothers me because I usually see around 5 people in the waiting room plus the 3-5 people in the chairs and there is only ONE doctor. So I waited until 6:10 when they took me back. I then had to wait in the chair for my cleaning for about 30 minutes. When I was finally done, it was 6:50. So for one regular checkup/cleaning, I wasted 2 hours. And about an hour and a half of that was waiting.

Very disappointed on the wait time for cleaning I like my orthodontist and witk but for regular cleaning worst place to come you set appointment you come in on time and they make you wait for more than an hour to get attended then to finish they make you wait longer in ther for a routine cleaning I been in here for 2and 1/2 and I am just getting a polish -_- dont recomend this place for cleaning at all!!!! Dont waste your time!

THIEVES! These people waste 99% of your time trying to upsell you on all kinds of unecessary products and services and only 1% doing work on what’s needed. This place has a seriously high Staff turnover over rate and constant pressure is applied by inexperienced sales personnel who really don’t know what they’re talking about. THEY DON'T DO REFUNDS!! I was charged $250.00 for something back in April. Found out in May that insurance covers that, so they had me fill out a paper to request a refund. They informed me that it would take 6-8 weeks. I had to go to the office in Sept to find out what's taking so long. There was an issue that was resolved apparently and was told that my check was mailed Sept 4. After waiting it didnt come. So I went back and was told that the check was mailed on Sept 12th. Kept waiting.....nothing. So I called again and they said the check was mailed on the 17th. So now I'm sitting here waiting for my damn check and getting the run around, the dentist office, corporate are complete morons in trying to process this check. Called again, and was told my check was mailed on the 21st. What the hell kind of business are they running?

I was in to get a second opinion about a botched filling that has been giving me pain. They assigned me an assistant who clearly didn’t know what she was doing and admitted to me that it’s her second day and she hasn’t been trained. The doctor himself was super pushy and rushed, barely looked at my teeth or x rays before telling me that nothing is wrong. He suggested I use Sensodyne, which I already do. He left before i even had time to ask questions. Then they let me sit for an hour waiting until a lady came in to talk about my “treatment options” and offered me a series of 8 COSMETIC PROCEDURES not covered by my insurance that would cost me $2000 out of pocket. Do not recommend this place. It is a scam.

Do not go here for your dental care! Went here for regular dental cleaning. After looking at our xrays, doctor and insurance rep said that they cant do regular cleaning on us. They want us to pay a lot of money for what they call deep cleaning and also other procedures that they want to perform. I been a patient for almost a year and i will say i love their work but some times the way they set thier appointments are complicated they will set it a certian day and time and change it a day before or they will give you an appointment at a certian time and you will be treated 2hrs after so it makes it complicated when your on a tight schedual ...their ortho is great he is patient and has done a great job as well as his team only down fall is he is only available like once a month on a specific day but over all they are kind a and hard working team both regular dentist and ortho

I had a appointment at 12 so i showed up 15 mins early to fill paperwork out. I had a tooth that need to be extracted and asked to just extract that tooth.. the went back in forth after x-rays and having the dentist see me. To say would extract the tooth but would need to charge me $450 for a spacer once they removed it. I told them i couldn't afford the space at this time. After having me wait more and speaking to the assistant they decided to decline me the extraction and sent me to a specialist in PICO RIVERA. 1st they could extract it and once i said no to the $450 charge they sent me to a specialist. No pain medication and i had to wait till Monday to go see this specialist. I asked for my x-rays to show another dentist (that Friday) they told me if it was west coast dentist they could but if it wasn't, i had to pay $25 for my x-rays to be sent to a new dentist. Complete waste of time. >:/ Dentist was nice but come on they saw my tooth cutting into my gum and tongue. No help what so ever.

Even though i was walk in patient, i was in office for 5 hours. My initial temp tooth for a crown, was way too small and had no room for my small stub of a tooth, this was a monday, had to return tues, 2 hours, but the dental asst. who put my temp tooth did an excellent job. My first asst. obviously needs more practice. The dentist herself did an excellent job. I had lots of dental problems, and considering the time, work done was excellent! No pain after either. Credit assistance was extremely helpful and appreciated. Thanks to all the personnel for their hard work..

Amazing experience! I got an early morning Saturday apointment so as to avoid traffic. People at reception were helpful and started me immediately! Dr Edalat is great! Very sweet, professional, went with me thoroughly all details and made me feel comfortable and safe. Her job was amazing and my teeth have never looked better. Totally recommend her and the clinic. I am going back there in 6 months!

Don't use this dentist office scam scam scam!!! Typical scam mill dental office. I have dental insurance that covers cleaning and x-rays etc. And I was here 6 months ago and they did a crappy job cleaning my teeth then. No hygienist available even though I asked when I made the appointment. The dentist himself cleaned my teeth at my insistence. So 6 months later I come in and a new dentist of course. Now of course I need deep cleaning that has extra cost to me. When they changed my appointment time yesterday at their request I asked if I was getting my teeth cleaned and they said yes. But of course no hygienist in again today. This place is the typical dental mill scam!!! I will never be back and will find a real dentist to take care of my dental needs. . For your health, pocketbook and sanity, STAY AWAY from this provider! First, when you make an appointment they swamp you with texts and phone calls. I had to block their number because it was overwhelming. Then, when I came for the appointment, they were unscrupulous selling services I didn't need (not covered by insurance), and then claimed I needed fillings that really were not supported by x-rays. Then, I used an FSA card to pay for my co-pay and they absolutely WILL NOT provide a receipt that shows payment, services rendered and the date. I have spent weeks trying to get the receipt and been given the runaround over and over-- still no receipt.
