This office has a lot of negative reviews but I decided to give it an opportunity. I came in the other day for a new patient exam, I got my x-rays taken by Emely, she was outstanding. Very informative & patient! I was seen by Dr. Bedoya, everything was fine until I saw how she treated the staff. I was waiting to talk to the insurance people, when the Dr started yelling at Emely out of nowhere, super unprofessional! I was in the room right across & heard how the Dr was yelling at her. There are ways to talk to people & that just showed me what type of person the Dr is. I felt bad for the assistant because she was very strong for keeping her mouth shut. But no Dr should talk to any of the staff that way, never going back to be seen by that Dr. If she treats the assistant that way I can’t imagine how she treats the patients. Someone should put that Dr in check & make her apologize for what she did.

I booked an appointment here as a new patient and I specified that I had a referral to see an endodontist for a retreat of a root canal since I had already been seen my dentist. The whole time up until my visit I was under the impression that this location had a specialist for this which is an endodontist. After they wasted nearly 2 hrs of my morning doing x-rays I was told they in-fact did not have endodontist but I was told that they could book me with a DR who was not a certified endodontist but could assess my root canal and see if he could work on it??? LOL now why in the world would I continue to waste my time like that and why would I see someone who doesn’t specialize in the work that I need to have done. They also said that the reason I was not told they didn’t have a specialist(endodontist) at this location is probably because they have a general booking office when making appointments. Understandable, I guess. HOWEVER I called a day before my appointment and spoke with one of their receptionist to verify my appointment and what I was being seen for ( which was a root canal retreat) and NEVER once did they mention they did not have a specialist. This was an absolute waste of time and huge inconvenience. This shows a big incompetence in what they do.

As nice as the receptionist and staff are, this place is run so inefficiently it's shocking. Out of the handful of times I had an appointment I was only seen on time once. Waiting upwards of thirty minutes and even over an hour at times is normal here. I walked out during my last scheduled visit and have no plans to return. The staff that run the place are definitely aware they are overbooking and have no respect for their patients' time. Summary: friendly but incompetent staff that will not respect your appointment time.

This place is absolutely horrible. I was seeing a different dental practice that canceled my 6 month check up last minute and I called this place to get in so I didn't have to wait months at my normal practice. What a mistake. I thought it was great that they could get me in within a few days, but I quickly realized that there was a reason for that. At first, the appointment started off great with them covering my x-rays because I had already used my x-ray coverage six months prior however, as soon as the doctor came in for the exam, he was literally in my mouth for only one minute and quickly left, and on his way out, had mentioned something about cavities. His assistant then told me I had three cavities that I needed to get filled and would I like to do them today? Obviously I was caught off guard because I had not had any cavities for 10+ years and had improvements in taking care of my teeth! I felt super uncomfortable about it and asked to just proceed with the cleaning and would think about getting the cavities filled. The assistant left and sent in the hygienist to clean my teeth in which it only took her about 20 minutes to do the cleaning and she did not water pik and did not floss and it did not feel like a legit cleaning. You would think that if the dentist is telling you to floss every day that they would actually floss during their cleaning. I left the office, feeling super uneasy about the experience and decided to get a second opinion on my supposed cavities. while I was at the second opinion, the dentist office called to get the x-rays from West Coast dental and they told them that I had to come in person and sign a waiver in order to take the x-rays and it turns out that's against the law. Also turns out I have ZERO cavities and this place wanted to drill into my teeth to bill my insurance $2000 just because. Crazy that they're willing to ruin people's teeth, that you only have one set of, just to make money. Would never come back here and would give zero stars if I could.

It was a good appointment. Everyone was very thorough in making sure I understood what was going on/what I needed. I waited a ridiculous amount of time, but it’s ok. Madeline is actually the kindest technician I have ever encountered. She made sure to reassure me at any moment I needed it, was very soft spoken, and even held my hand when I had to get a shot. I don’t handle needles well and instead of making me feel childish about it, she comforted me to the max.

I was a new patient at this location. Privacy is an issue here. Two sections where you need to take X rays. One has a curtain the other you're sitting down faced with chairs for patients to wait. I have attached a photo where I was sitting and there were people watching me get x rays when I had to open my mouth and put devices in my mouth: it was embarrassing they don't have a curtain. There is also a closet where people kept going in and out. I ended up going elsewhere. They said I also had 2 cavities by looking at my x rays I went to another location. They actually got my x rays did an oral exam and said I had no cavities.

Worst dental practice ever! I am a Medi-Cal ( Denti-Cal) member and got this location from the Department of Healthcare services. I called this morning to make an appointment and was shocked that they could see me the same day of me booking the appointment. My appointment was a 1pm and waited to be called back. When called back first thing that was done was the X-Rays ( that process took 20 minutes in itself). Then was taken back to the examing area where the doctor ( looked like a young doctor) only measured my gums and looked into my mouth to look at my teeth. The doctor then proceeds to say that I would need a deep cleaning, fill 2 cavities, and possibly fix a fractured molar ( that I went in for) from me unknowingly grinding my teeth. The doctor then said that for the tooth grinding that I would need a night guard. The doctor then tells me that a treatment plan representative would be in to discuss the treatment plan with me. When the treatment plan representative came in she told me that I would need to schedule the deep cleaning at the end of April because in order for the authorization for the deep cleaning would take 4-6 weeks to get approved. Then the treatment plan representative told me that in order for me to get a custom night guard I would have to pay $ 500 out of pocket to get the night guard. After the treatment plan representative left the area, someone else came back in with the stuff to fix the cavities . Now tell me why they decided to without my knowledge to fill my cavities without doing a cleaning first? When I said something they seemed shocked that I wanted to get the cleaning done first then fill the cavities. It made absolutely no sense to me that a dentist would allow a plague filled mouth that contains bacteria not be cleaned throughly before drilling a tooth to fix the cavities. To someone that has common sense would not allow a doctor to allow bacteria get in a drilled out holes in a teeth to be filled in with a tooth filling. It’s extremely dangerous for bacteria to get into the bloodstream and could cause a person to get so sick that they could end up dying from a severe infection. I will be canceling my next appointment and finding another doctor that doesn’t make me feel uncomfortable and uneasy. Please do not go here if you have common sense. To make matters worse after I left the office I delt with an angry crazy man out in the parking lot.

I will give no stars. The worst dentist office. My appointment was at 12:00 pm got there 15 minutes early because new patient papers make sure everything was good. Waited for 2 hours but I was done waiting so I talk to one a of them like it’s been two hours and they grab someone in the back to do the x ray. After that the doctor check my teeth btw is super nice and sweet I think the only good thing there. I only needed a cleaning because everything was good and when I waited like 15 minutes to someone clean my teeth they dint have the polisher clean so they have to sterilize for 15 minutes more o make another appointment. I was done, never waited almost 3 hours in a dentist office for x ray and a cleaning that they couldn’t even finish. They ask me for next cleaning appointment and never in my life going back or recommending to nobody!

Horrible dentist, I made a mistake by going to this place, I had a infection on a crown which is right next to my wisdom teeth that needed to get pulled they pulled the wisdom teeth for $900 and said we will leave the infected crown to see if the wisdom teeth being gone might make the crown infection to go away. So here’s where the real problem starts. I told them I am allergic to ibuprofen and they prescribed me Motrin which is the same thing! And I found that out when I went to Walgreens to pick up my antibiotics and pain medicine. So I didn’t have anything for the pain and I was in a lot of pain! I called them they finally got the dentist to approve something for the pain I’m aloud to take, and their 3rd party wasn’t approving the pain medicine advising me to go to the ER if I’m in this much pain after calling them 5 times and telling them I’m not going to the ER you guys need to figure your guys stuff out I’m in pain!!!! I highly recommend looking up reviews before going to this place.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this dental office. The dentist clearly didn’t care about my concerns or comfort during my visit. They were dismissive, rushed, and didn’t take the time to explain the treatment plan or options thoroughly. It felt like they were more interested in getting me out the door than actually addressing my issue. On top of that, the staff seemed unorganized, and the overall atmosphere was cold and unwelcoming. I left feeling unheard and still in pain. If you’re looking for a dentist who genuinely cares about their patients, I’d recommend going elsewhere.

I waited an hour before being seen. My Dentist was friendly, and the rest of the staff was also welcoming. The timing between my X-ray and seeing the doctor was good. However, the wait for my dental filling was another long delay. The young lady was so tired by the time she got done that no fluoride treatment was added. She asked my age and told me I didn’t need it. The office assistant reviewed my treatment plan. I did not sign any paperwork until after my procedures were done, and I was ready to leave. I was not offered any documentation to understand what was performed that day. When I asked, I was given a treatment plan I didn't understand. The terms were not simplistic. They were dental terms and codes. I believe this dental office tends to overbook appointments and add additional services to maximize their profits from patients instead of booking an appropriate number of appointments, allowing their staff more time to perform the dental duties without rushing through them. I felt my dental fillings were rushed. My appointment was at 1pm, but I was seen at 2 pm and didn't leave until 5 pm. I would have appreciated an explanation of what to expect when filling cavities. Also, it would have been nice to be told what type of toothpaste and toothbrush I needed and what kind of care was needed to prevent those cavities. I also needed any additional information specific to the problems with my oral care. Usually, you’re sent home with a bag of goodies like a toothbrush and toothpaste, but that didn’t happen. You could sense that everyone was overworked, tired, and ready to go home.

I had my appt at 3pm waiting wasn’t too long at all Ryan helped with my X-rays he was so easy with me I have gag reflexes and he explained everything to me and was very good with me! Dr.A was great explained everything to me what I need and his suggestions for me! The ending was great at check out with Michelle with my insurance she took time to explain in detail what I need to do and what insurance will or will not cover! Horrible experience went in for fillings had to go back another 2 times because I couldn’t even floss where I had my fillings done. Made another appt for another tooth was told they were going to send referral out to see if root canal gets approved they told me wait 6-8 weeks if you don’t get a call from us, give us a call it’s been over 8 weeks I get a hold of them today and get told that I need an xray done first or else I’d get denied so I’ve been waiting this entire time for absolutely nothing?? And the wait time is ridiculous I’ve had to walk out twice in the past because I’d be waiting for over an hour to be seen.

Sept. 7,2024 -Horrible experience my first visit. Went in for a crown and two different workers cut my tongue. Did not even get an apology. They said I bit my tongue;however, I got a second opinion from another dentist and they confirmed they cut me with their tools.Left in more pain than when I went in. I was disappointed with my experience at western dental. I walked in with a chipped tooth, needing a simple fix before an important business trip the next day. Despite their website promoting emergency care and same-day treatment, I was told I needed a full exam first, with no guarantee of treatment on the day of the evaluation. This seemed contradictory to their advertised services, especially considering the office was quiet with no other customers present. It felt like they were more interested in upselling than addressing my immediate need. While I understand the need for a full exam, the lack of flexibility and immediate care left me frustrated, feeling like a minor issue was being treated as an inconvenience. I'm concerned about how they would respond to a true dental emergency if they are unwilling to handle a relatively simple chipped tooth. I hope they reconsider their approach to emergency care and prioritize patient needs.

My grandmas appointment was at 2:00pm we received a text for confirmation the day before. We get there at 1:45pm and by 2:15pm I asked how much longer. The lady at the front desk told me my grandmas appointment was at 1:30pm but her chart was taken and she should be called in soon. I sat back down and waited.. 2:35pm comes along and still nothing.. Again I go back to ask how much longer, and same lady says, they have her chart they should be calling her in. At 2:50pm I go back again to show her the confirmation text and she ignores it and repeats herself about them having her chart. Moments later they do call my grandma in and say, sorry for the wait. I understand places get busy, but don’t lie and try to make it seem like it was our fault for being late. Not to mention you can clearly see my grandma in pain and is waiting for a better response then “they have her chart”.. Try to show empathy to your clients, especially when you know they’re in pain and your doctors are running behind. Sometimes people are asking for a reason, I needed to get to work at 5:30pm and was trying to get a some kinda time frame of when she was going to be called in. So I can try to arrange something for work.

I finally decided to come back to finish my deep cleaning that they started last year which was a horrible experience with the hygienist back then. I went in today super nervous because of what happened last time, luckily today I was seen by a new hygienist, her name was Mandy and wow she was amazing. Super patient and caring and really listened to me about what happened last time and went out of her way to give me the best experience possible. The way she did my deep cleaning was so smooth and not painful at all compared to last time and I left so happy. She was the best!

The worst dental office I have ever visited. Each time I had an appointment it would take over 3 hours to get out of there just for a cleaning. Sometimes even 4 hours. I never had anything wrong and I don’t know why the wait was always so long. I kept making my appointments as soon as they opened hoping that would make it faster, but it didn’t matter. I went to another dental office in the area and had a great experience. I highly recommend to not waste your time going to West Coast Dental.

I came for a simple extraction of a painful very loose tooth. After waiting 30 mins for scheduled appointment. I then waited 2 hrs to see the Dentist who gave me a treatment plan and surgical referral that I don’t want nor; did I asked for… I told this DDS l am planning 100% implants this summer. I don’t need treatment for expensive services I don’t want nor can I afford. The Dr responded “you should keep all your teeth as long as can”. I am sure preserving my teeth will make me a long term paying customer infinitely… I’m sticking with my current plan …. 100:% implants this summer. This office was a complete waste of my time. Sadly, they refused to listen to my treatment request…… I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE FOR ANYTHING !!!!

If you value your time, I would suggest reading this. Very disappointed in West coast dental Menifee. I scheduled a cleaning a few weeks back and when I arrived, I waited a little over an hour until I was called back. The office was busy and I could tell so it is what it is. After I was called back, I then sat in a chair for another 30 minutes which seemed to be a little excessive but there were a lot of patients so again, it is what it is. Dentist comes in and looks at my mouth and that was it... Dentist then says I need to schedule an appointment for a deep clean. When I scheduled the appointment, I mentioned it was for a cleaning but waited almost 2 hours for the dentist to spend 2 minutes with me and tell me I need to come back. Okay... I then schedule my appointment for the next day and paid for the full service upfront. When I arrive to my appointment, I didn't wait more than 20 minutes but when the hygienist sat me down, she mentioned my insurance only approved for half of the service. So only half of my mouth was to be deep cleaned and I would need to return for the other half.. I have already left work early for one appointment and took time out of my busy schedule for the second just to get a cleaning done. When I’m told I am only getting half done I questioned it and was told my insurance only covers half at a time.. Okay, so now I need to return a 3rd time just to finish a cleaning and of course there are no open appointments that fit my schedule on a Saturday when I’m off so I had to schedule for a Monday and leave work early, again... Seems insane to me but if this is what my insurance covers then so be it. Well... that didn't sit well with me so I decided to call my insurance and ask why. Their response "you could have received the full deep cleaning in one sitting. It is at your discretion on whether or not you want to do half or full". After hearing that I asked again just so I understood correctly and they confirmed I could have received the entire deep clean procedure if I chose to. So, what I’m getting from this is I was lied to and now I need to come in a 3rd time to finish something that should have been finished upon my first appointment or in my case, the second appointment. Also keep in mind, I had no complications or excessive bleeding that would prevent me from receiving a full deep clean. Fast forward to my 3rd appointment. I return, I get called back in a reasonable amount of time and when I’m seated, I’m asked to open my mouth. The hygienist puts something in my mouth but have no idea what it is. Come to find out it’s the numbing agent that’s used but I never requested it. I questioned what it was and she asked if I had it the first time and I said no. she then removed it but I didn’t understand why the first hygienist asked if I wanted it and this one just took it upon herself to give it to me anyways. Before we began, I asked again about the reason why I wasn’t able to get my whole mouth done the first time and I was told the story about my insurance again. I left it alone at that point. Figured it must be West coast dentals way of telling their patients “We don’t have enough time so ill blame the insurance company”. I am an easy guy. If someone told me they didn’t have enough time I would have accepted that and just rescheduled but instead I was lied to? Makes no sense to me. To anyone who reads this. I am not here to bash West coast dental. I am just here to make you aware of what I experienced. I am certain most of us value our time and if that’s the case I would just suggest going somewhere that is a little more truthful.

I don’t usually leave reviews rather good or bad but I must say this is the BEST dentist you can find, my daughter is 5 and she has pretty bad teeth, took her to western dental and all they told me was she had to be put to sleep for her teeth to be done nothing about how much cavity’s or nothing and wasn’t comfortable with that so took her here, they told us everything that needed to be done and super nice! Wish I would had gotten the names on who worked on my daughter but she was very comfortable, i highly recommend this dentist

Honestly!, This particular dental place, so far is the best that I've been my whole life. The dentist who performed my deep cleaning has a feather hand. I didn't need any numbing shots. She pays attention to detail and is very considerate at that. Once she noticed my grimace, she immediately stopped what she was doing and proceeded using a more gentle way. Thank you very much. As for the office itself, somehow my appointment that was set weeks beforehand, was accidentally deleted. I still went to the said appointment anyway and they did their best to squeeze me in without any fuss. It even didn't step on other clients time schedule. Or I was just lucky that there was a small window where they were able to fit me in. Thank you very much to the staff. Parking is no problem. Waiting room has a TV which you can enjoy watching (if the movie choice is to your liking :-) ) restroom available as well. Definitely will recommend this dental place if they are within your dental insurance network.

This review is for ortho. One of my retainers had cracked from the back but was still working, it was able to do the job. I came in to get a replacement. After I got my impressions, the hygienist threw away my retainer without asking for my permission. When I asked for it (not sure where it was thrown or kept), he gave me another one. All Invisalign retainers have a unique number so that’s how I new it was not mine. It was very unhygienic that I was given another retainer belonging to someone else. My concern is that this could expose someone to possible contamination or blood born pathogens. I will be taking my service somewhere else. I brought this up to the office and all I was told was “I’m sorry this happened”. At the very minimum, I should of been compensated or received another retainer free of charge since the office was responsible for throwing mine away.

Terrible place... Went in for my new patient assessment and was only asked 1 question while I was there... "Are you in any pain?" I was only there to see if I could be evaluated for braces... Some lady comes in and and says we're gonna do this and that and I had to tell her I don't want anything other than braces and she says ok you need to be evaluated by Ortho... Ok set Ortho appt up for 7am 3 days later... Get to the appointment write my name down and nobody calls me to the back... Waited a half hour and other people were being called back (everyone except 1 person arrived after me) I never got called to the back... Terrible service and not run like other dental offices I've been to I menifee... Canceling my insurance for them.

I am super disappointed by this place. This was my first time visiting here. I just saw a dentist 3 months prior to this visit. In my visit the dentist saw me for maybe 5 minutes. He counted “new cavities” and that was it. Didn’t check my gums or anything of the routine I am used to. After the visit they told me I had like 6 new cavities… I just saw a dentist 3 months prior and no cavities. This place has shown me on the very first visit that they are not trustworthy.

This is the worst experience I have ever had at any kind of dentist or doctor appointment. I had an appointment at 8am as a new patient. I completed the paperwork online before the appointment and arrived 10 minutes early. I was not called back for my appointment until 8:50. They did x-rays, about 10 minutes, and then said there were no rooms available for cleanings. I waited another 30 minutes before I had to leave because I was already late for work. I spent an hour and 45 minutes and wasn't even able to get my cleaning done. No one offered any explanation or sincere apology, nor did they seem to care. I'm not sure what kind of dentist office expects you to clear 2 hours for a routine teeth cleaning. This was extremely disappointing and frustrating and waste of my time. Definitely would not recommend. ZI'd give it zero stars if I could.

I want everyone to know how exceptionally bad they are. I am about to take legal action. They provided mediocre service before, but the real problem happened after I left. I have not been in the state of California since June. I cancelled my ongoing braces services before then and requested my records. I called every week for a month until about September. I needed to get my records for my new dentist. I filled out 2 release forms. I never received my records. That's not all. Weeks later my insurance maximum was billed by a Doctor. I called that doctor. That doctor has not worked for West Coast Dental for years and I have not been in the state of California in months yet I was billed thousands of dollars. I have called the office and complained, but every time they say they'll call back. I have never received a call back. I have had a former employee call his old managers and ask them to call me back. I have never received a call back. I have twice been redirected by the office to someone who manages finance only to have the line hangup on me both times after about an hour on hold. This company has drained my entire insurance coverage despite not being at their office in months. I can talk to no one who can do anything. I can not get my money back even though it was stolen from me. I beg of you to never go to this dentist. If you've still under contract with them and are forced to see them, while you're there, please ask them to read my comment and return my money. I really need it.

I have hated this place from day one and we are two years inn…..we paid upfront…..scheduling an appointment is a nightmare, if you have a “ortho emergency” they make you wait weeks until you can be seen. Orthodontist keep quitting so they have very few appointments available if you miss or have to reschedule. Which ends up extending the total time a kid will have braces. Their are far better equipped Orthodontist for the same cost with much better organization and people who care about the customer.

My fiancé is currently at the practice as I’m writing my review. The practice was able to make an appointment for a Saturday but he was asked to reschedule for another week. They claimed they didn’t have any dentists to see him. I find that unprofessional and surprising. He showed up to his rescheduled appointment this morning when they opened at 8am. It has been over an hour of waiting. Multiple people have been seen before him. Poor management practices for a healthcare facility. I will make sure he does not return.

If you happen to have sub standard care, please contact your insurance company and dispute the charges or treatment done , especially if you have a second opinion of a different dentist. You can also contact the dental board of California . You can even take them to small claims court . Get documentation of everything, x rays of before and x rays after . Make sure the x ray tech is licensed, that all cleanings are being done via Standard of Care in Ca. The cleanings should be scaled with a cavitron and hand scaled by a dr or hygienist.

My daughter went in for cavities and dental work. I don't wanna get into details, but overall, I'm never coming here again. She ended up catching an infection due to tools not being clean. The lady that did work on my daughters teeth did a horrible job. She's only 3. And now she's terrified. They didn't give her the right weight medication so she felt every pain. I got her teeth fixed by a different doctor and he was surprised if the poor quality they did on my daughters teeth. I'll take my service somewhere else. Thank you!

Every time I come it’s always a ridiculously long wait. The staff is friendly but they seem to overbook more than what they can see- about 4 patients were seen ahead of us that got there after and we were told it was because they were scheduled for surgery. We didn’t get seen till almost 2 hours after our appointment. Won’t be returning cause this has happened literally every time I’ve been here.

I made an appt for my daughter to have her tooth pulled. I am a single mom of 3 with very busy schedule. I made a 6 PM appointment. Had to leave another event early to make it happen only to get there and have them clean her teeth and not remove the tooth. When I asked at the end of the appointment, why the tooth wasn't removed he said it would come out on its own. It's been causing her extreme pain and she's up all night the last two nights because of the tooth pain. Obviously it would come out on its own but I don't want her to go through because of the pain. The dentist response was you can bring her in tomorrow and I'll take it out. I brought her in tonight to have it taken out. My next availability isn't until May 17 . They should have performed the task at which she was scheduled for at the time she was scheduled for it. It was a big waste of time and now my daughter is still in pain.

The staff was friendly and attentive. The doctor was very kind and explained the dental plan in a way that I understood. They did a great job explaining the breakdown of cost and what would be covered by insurance and what would be out of pocket. For my deep cleaning appointment I waited 40 minutes to be seen. The next time I came in for the other half I waited 50 minutes and still hadn't been seen. I let them know I was leaving and would reschedule. They didn't have a lot of appointments so I ended up getting the other half done more than a month later. My last appointment I waited 30 minutes which isn't terrible but I'm sure they definitely wouldn't see patients that showed up 30 minutes after their scheduled time.

I’m not going to explain what I went through today but I can say that this office is not professional. The wait is way too long, their supplies don’t appear clean, and some staff don’t seem to care about you. This office is very disorganized, some staff don’t seem to know what you are there for and don’t explain things to you. I did complain to the financial lady and she blamed it on the receptionist who helped me made an appointment. I also noticed that the ortho’s nails had dirt in it. I’m definitely not coming back. They wasted 2 hours of my time and received no service at all. This could have been prevented if they communicated to me ahead of time.

Went in for my 6 month cleaning. Waited over an hour to be seen by yet another new Dentist. This one very impersonable. One woman left due to waiting over a hour and half and not being seen. The Dentist told me I had a cavity that we would fill next appointment and today would just do the cleaning. Dental assistant comes back and tells me they are rescheduling my entire appointment. What a waste of time! I will not be returning.

My appointment starts at 12pm for a cleaning and filling of my teeth, came at 11:50 am and waited until 1:30 pm before they started to call me. They said that the insurance are close for today to they’ll just do an xray and check up, i waited in the room for 30 mins. I waited too long that i didnt even realized i was already asleep. The doctor came and didnt even apologizes for the wait! I will be changing my dentist this week because this has always been the same problem every visit. Also, i asked if they can do my filling for my teeth, instead yall insisted i needed a crowning and will be charging me $700 for it, hell no! You guys just ignored my request of having my teeth filled and didnt even find it as an another option. Yall are so quick to schedule me for a crowning but not rescheduling my cleaning ???♂️so the second time, i had to rescedule AGAIN for a cleaning.

Be very careful at this place. Never been to a place that lies and then tries to cover it up. Had a cleaning done and it hurt so bad. They told me to come back for a free cleaning and more gentle one. When I was checking out they told me they don’t do that. Clean, well-run local facility; cordial, yet somewhat professional staff; however, not a fan of their confusing/conflicting estimate(s) for additional services needed. Initially, I was advised that two screws (one in each side) in the lower rear of dental plate would be one price, not the permanent posts that were recommended afterwards in order to secure the same area that I was quoted but for three (3) times the former amount. As a new patient, I was advised through X-rays I needed to have a wisdom tooth to be removed. I scheduled a date to come in and have the tooth extracted. I lost a day of pay to have the procedure done only to be told due to the position of the tooth the doctor was not confident to remove it. I was told many negative affects and ultimately suggesting if I went ahead with the procedure that a charge of 600.00 out of pocket would be required. After much thought and the feeling of each staff interaction from reception to intake to doctor communication and finally being told by the front desk that I can leave now; was a poor communication of customer service.

Beware some things are a rip off at this location.Neither the orthodontist, nor the personnel taking the measurements nor the person in charge of signing the contract told me or corrected me that they do not offer Invisalign. In my consultation with the orthodontist(BRANDI LEWIS) I informed her that I was interested in Invisalign. She made the recommendation and told me that another rep would cover the cost of it. Ana was the representative who cover the cost. In my conversation with her I was very precise in the treatment that I wanted Invisalign. During the signing of the contract, she confirmed that I was going to receive invisalign treatment. She claims that because she wrote aligner on the contract, it was understood that I would receive treatment from the “aligner company” and not Invisalign. After the fact, the staff ensures that it is the same product. They don't understand that I feel cheated because I was specific with what I wanted. There have been a few other issues but as they don't have an office manager on site and as these haven't been addressed with corporate I won't comment. But I will keep you posted Note: Like most sellers, Ana is a scammer, she suggested that I lie about my income to get approved for a higher amount with Care Credit. She also pressures you to sign without reading, but I didn't agree to any of them, but that shows what kind of person he is.

I had a different dentist than last visit, but he was able to recement my crown in & get me on my way! Yay! New day new experience. 2 hours and 2 minutes for a cleaning. The dentist never mentioned a varnish then the money lady comes in and asks me for $140. Then they leave me in the room for so long I have to get up and ask what's going on. Then I hear all the workers arguing about who should do what. The lady that comes in to polish seemed mad she lost the argument & had to come in to me. She did calm down a bit later but it was uncomfortable while she was upset. This varnish on my teeth feels like a waxy plastic that I keep spitting out. Not a good experience for the entire visit.

The dentist prescribed me an intense medication and when I asked if it would be okay while breastfeeding he hesitated and proceeded with “uhhh it should be okay.” After looking it up and researching it, it is NOT OKAY. Please don’t waste your time at this office. They are a tornado of a disaster and do not care about the well-being of their patients. Remember they are there to serve and help YOU and you should feel confident and comfortable that you are getting the best service, treatment, and help that you deserve. Please do not go here!!!

I have been to this office twice spent two hours each time in which nothing was accomplished except X-rays. I sought out this dentist because I have a cracked, crumbling front tooth. Kinda like an emergency cause it hurts. Did I get help. No! None, do I have insurance to cover this? Yes, still no help just make more appointments. After consultation with Dr Kim on the first appt he said had to be pulled. I agreed . It was lunch time for Mr Kim which meant I had to come back for that action. Ok felt it was reasonable. Next appt made to pull said tooth and take impressions for lower dentures. Next appointment Dr Kim takes longer look at X-rays and advises to pull all uppers. I agree cause they also hurt. Then he says a speacilist must do this. Ok so Again I agree. Then I wait for the financial person come give me the money news. Which is why this place exists. She appears tells me my dentures will cost me 630 and the specialist who will pull my teeth is a different bill. I tell her my insurance covers completely all expenses for this action. She takes offensive because I’m just the patient I don’t know anything and acted like she thinks I’m delusional. Then she comes in for the kill. Either I agree to her estimate or nothing no impression for denture, no referral. Just another appointment to get nothing done. I refused to be bullied into her plan. Told her I needed to call my insurance office. And left again in pain nothing done. In the car called my insurance and was assured they had it wrong used the wrong schedule. I ask my agent to call the office and inform them. She did. I went back into the office because I’m in pain and want something accomplished to help me. At the front desk the person behind the desk informed me they didn’t get the new payment schedule and basically didn’t want to let me get anything done . I’m getting very frustrated by this time and I told her I felt that the office was lame. Not the back office the Dr and support medical personnel were fine. The front office was lame ,disrespectful and very annoying. Seem to not like patients very hostile attitudes. From the moment you walk in the door. So I will not be going back.

My routine dental cleaning took 2 1/2 hours. There was not a dental hygienist in the office so the dentist 'cleaned and polished' my teeth in 15 minutes. He did not even use dental floss. I would never go back to this dental office.

They matched them perfectly and I'm very happy! I would recommend West coast dental To anyone who's looking for beautiful dental work. Also a huge Thank you to Grace for all your help with dealing with the insurance company! You're awesome at your job! Jenne is the perfect person to put at the front desk too because she is so nice! She's one of the sweetest people I've ever met! I would definitely recommend West Coast Dental for all your dental needs. Update! Although I had a great experience the first time every time after that experience has I have had nothing but horrible experiences since! I've ever had to deal with with a Dental office that acts like this! They make you sit in the office while they take back people that have walked in and half an hour after you !! And all they can say is I'm sorry ma'am!! Save your some time and frustration DONT go to West Coast dental if you don't want to be passed over and watch them take other patient's that walked in after you & they are treated with preference! Unfortunately, I do not recommend the West Coast Dental in Menifee, CA. My dentist in Riverside sold his practice earlier this year, in looking for a new practice we chose West Coast Dental. This is the second time I've been here, within the last 10 months, and have experienced the following 1. Schedule not being upheld. You will be there at least 1.5 hr. for a cleaning I have come on time and early and both times I was in there no least than an hour in a half. My old dentist had dental hygienist that performed the cleanings. I had the same person for 7 years loved her. At West Coast dental a tech cleans your teeth with the toothpaste and the dentist comes back and water picks it. 2. Two visits two different dentist. The dentist today didn't even introduce himself. Didn’t reference anything from the previous dentist notes. Just asked if I had any discomfort (which I did not) and then suggested additional product. 3. Each visit they try and upsell you on additional products and service over and above what your insurance pays for. Feels like a used car dealership in there. Today the dentist had another lady try to sell me a dental mouth guard for sleeping (don’t know the cost), a fluoride teeth coating after the cleaning and a deep pocket rinse for $190. In my 40 years of getting dental work, and I have had a lot, I have never had a dentist try to sell products as much as they have. They have do no actual work on my teeth, except cleaning and they have recommended hundreds of dollars in additional products. Be careful 4. They don't due their due diligence and follow up with your insurance. My child had work that needed to be done. We were told that they would contact the insurance to see what would be covered and what wouldn't be. We received something in the mail from our insurance stating that their claim was denied due to lack of information provided. We never received a call from the West Coast Dental to discuss. When we took our child back for her 6 month cleaning she saw a new dentist that never looked at her file and made my wife feel that we had done something wrong. She explained the situation and the lack of support on their end. There was one tech that that saw my wife’s frustration and assisted her which we are very grateful for. These are just a few issues we have. We love the fact that its close, but we will be looking for more of a private practice where they Dr. and staff knows you and your dental history and you’re not just another mouth to make more money on.
I'm sorry to hear that you have had some issues with wait times at our office. We understand our patients' time is valuable and we do everything we can to adhere to a strict and timely schedule. We try our best to keep the wait time to a minimum, but sometimes dental emergencies happen and things take longer than anticipated. I first went to the Hemet location but after not having the greatest experience I decided to switch to the Menifee location. I absolutely love this office! The staff is AMAZING. Everyone is super nice and explains everything so well. It’s also really clean. Let’s be honest, no one likes going to the dentist but having a nice environment helps a lot. I do not recommend anyone to visit this office, we waited about 2 hours for them to attend us and only for the dental cleaning to last 10 minutes, also they quote you a lot of work and they are extremely expensive, and they tell you that your insurance does not cover you, The truth is bad attention and they just want to collect what they can from your insurance. I DO NOT RECOMMEND doing research before going here, they do not respect the time of each appointment and they quote you countless jobs, disappointed in them, the lady who quotes looks like a model and not a dental professional.

First and foremost, I made an appointment because my crown came out. The setup of the office reminded me of “Western Dental.” The dentist was out to make a killing. I have been going to the dentist on a regular basis prior to moving to Menifee. This new dentist that I went to Attempted to having me get more work done then what was needed. They stated that I needed five crowns one extraction a bone graph and stated that I had inflammation on my gums due to poor brushing and flossing. If that were the case, my regular dentist Dr. Rica Adorable in Woodland Hills would have advised me of that. My last dental visit to Miss Adorable was just three months ago. That much decay It’s not possible within three months. It is safe to say that I will never return to West Coast dental.

Came here to get my wisdom teeth extracted. My lower wisdoms were impacted & the surgeon wanted to ensure it was safe for him to do the procedure and sent me to do an x-ray. Which a previous office did not inform me and was rushed to book and charge me. I was able to get it done here fully covered by my insurance other than the bone graft. The surgeon and the assistants made me feel super safe and comfortable and talked to me throughout the entire process. Def recommend to get it done at this location. Most likely going to switch this office as my main.

I called 14 different dentist trying to get the soonest appointment to be seen and 32 weeks pregnant with excruciatingly horrible tooth pain. I was in desperate need of care because I wasn’t eating or sleeping. After calling so many places that either didn’t take Medi-Cal or didn’t have any appointments until the 14th Julie answered my call she said the soonest appointment was the 14th but she put me on hold to speak to her supervisor and they got me in today at 2o’clock and I was able to be seen within five minutes of filling out my paperwork I got my x-rays done and antibiotics prescribed my whole visit was 20 minutes tops if even that. I’m so thankful for this place and I’m so thankful for Julie wonderful service as well everyone was so patient and kind and understanding I will be forever giving them my business from now on!

HORRIBLE Dentist! He needs to go back to school & learn how to properly clean teeth! Went here at the beginning of May to get my braces and it was honestly one of the best ortho experiences Ive had. I went here with the idea of just getting a consultation and nothing more. After reviewing the financial parts of braces with Lucia, who was super helpful btw and made the process way easier for me to understand, she told me if I was ready to start. Which I was but I didnt not imagine they were going to put my braces on asap at the moment which shocked me! I had a previous ortho who told me May 29th so getting them like the first week of May was the best thing ever. The lady who examined my xray was awesome aswell as the lady who put on my braces and told me what to eat and what to do etc. I loved that I got my braces at the best place possible!

I only gave one star as there was no ZERO. My wife began her ridiculously lengthy and disappointing experience with West Coast Dental (Menifee) on Feb 10. First she was directed into an agreement that 90% of the procedures would NOT be covered though alternatives would be. The maxillary and mandibular partials requiring “elective” (unnecessary) materials have now not arrived after THREE MONTHS and still no prospect of ‘seeing’ them much less ‘receiving’ them until HOPEFULLY May 20th, yes that’s right FOUR MONTHS without teeth. Horrible, atrocious, deceptive, dental practice - WARNING do not risk your health or teeth here.

Since we started with West Coast Dental many years ago, our family has had nothing but the same issues and after my last appointment yesterday, we will not longer be customers of West Coast Dental. Our time is not respected and the staff has an attitude of indifference. My family visits the dentist every 6 months for exam and cleaning. My son also did orthodontics with them for 2 years, so we have spent plenty of money over the years. I have given them chance after chance, but the issues have continued. When I call to make an appointment, I always request that there is enough time made for exam and cleaning. We always wait 1 hour in the waiting room, get x-rays and after another 30 minutes see the dentist for exam, where then we are told to schedule another time for cleaning. This is outrageous. The appointment I made yesterday was made for filling and cleaning, almost 2 hours later I was told by the dental assistance that they did not have time for my cleaning or filling and would have to schedule another appointment. I do not recommend anyone visiting this office.

I only gave this company a "3 rating", because I wish they informed new patients that their appointment may or may not run into closing time if they are scheduled at 3pm. Overall welcome and appointment went great until about 4:30pm when they basically said, "Oh the Dr cant see you for your cleaning because its almost closing time". We can schedule for another day". I totally understand working at a medical office myself that appointments can get backed up. However my time is valuable too, someone should have said that "way" before I was 2hours into my appointment. Very hard to try and make plans and some of us just cant come back into the office the next day or week. Hopefully better the next time.

Overall my experience was not to great. First of all I arrived on time to my appointment and waited another 40 minutes before they even took my X-Rays. After that another 15-20 minutes for the Dr to see me and my wife. The only reason they finally let us be seen was because I asked the receptionist how much longer was I going to have to wait. COVID has affected many businesses differently but I would expect more from a larger company like West Coast Dental.

Our appointment was at 10:30 am and waited 2 hrs to get the dental service that we need. And the lady that just walked in got called first before us. It's very upsetting. Ugh thinking about switching to a different dentist. Once again, every visit was a bad experience! My son’s appointment’s at 10am, got there at 9:40am and the ones that have 11pm appointment got in first! That’s gonna be our last visit there! Just switched to a different dentist! Don’t go to this dental clinic, if you don’t wanna have a high blood pressure every visit! I don’t recommend it at all!

First time going there. It was alright. Doctor told me why i was feeling so much tooth pain, and i tried asking him why, as i am not a tooth professional, so i had a bunch of questions. Started asking him what my options were and he gave me a short answer at first and ignored me when I asked more questions. Turned to the assistant he had with him and then he came back and asked me if I had any questions. It was alright i guess, pretty much told me what i had and what I needed to do after he ignored me and i received a bit more information from one of the ladies in the front of the office. I got more information over the phone than in the actual clinic. I don't think I'll be going there again.

The front office staff is kind of rude and not friendly at all. I felt like they didn’t want me there. Poor customer service overall. I was not advised of what I needed to bring to the appointment and they would NOT work with me. Wasted the day and had to reschedule. Then when I called to speak to ,supposedly, the back office manager, she was slightly rude as well. They definitely need to work on their customer service. I’m not one to ever leave reviews, but I hope my experience with them improves.

Initially I was impressed with the airiness and cleanliness of the lobby, and the kindness and efficiency of the receptionist. However, I arrived at 1:55 for a 2:00 appointment, and I waited AN HOUR for anyone to see me. There was no explanation, no apology, no "thank you for your patience." I had an emergency and had called about noon. They gave me a choice of 2:00 or 3:00, so I chose 2:00. If they were going to be so busy that they couldn't see me for an hour, why didn't she (on the phone) just make the appointment for 3:00? I did appreciate that they could fit in a same-day appointment.

When the dentist finally came into my room (I waited for an hour), he did not say hello, did an extremely quick exam, then told me I had 6 cavities that needed fillings. He seemed shady and I did not feel comfortable at his office, so I went to another dentist. After new X-rays and a thorough examination, the new dentist told me I have 0 cavities and do not need any fillings. Felt like a money grab at West Coast Dental of Menifee. Beware!

First visit ever, wait time was about 2 hours, dentist came in for 2 min and told me I needed fillings with a desensitizer that my insurance doesn't cover. I requested alternative options or to get the fillings without the desensitizers and was told that was not possible. Dentist was very rude and patronizing and did not even try to provide a more affordable option. Then to top it off, I was told they needed to reschedule me for the teeth cleaning because they were behind and didn't have time, after waiting for 2 hours just to be seen. Worst experience ever.

Second day in a row trying to get an appointment with these people. First time, they told me to call back tomorrow because they were understaffed and she had no clue as to how to answer my question. Second day calling I was just put on hold only to have her come back on the line and say she’ll call me back. The only reason why I’m even trying with them is because it’s the dental office I was assigned to and my kid needs work ASAP, otherwise it would be a definite NO for me. Also, it’s true, wait times are ridiculously long. Expect to be there for 3-4 hours.

Loved my experience here! They take all the COVID precautions seriously. However, I would have liked to see the waiting room a little less packed BUT they were moving people in and out pretty fast. The facility is clean, they even have you wash your hands and rinse your mouth before your check up. When I made my appointment the lady over the phone was super sweet. Checking in was super quick as a new patient, no endless amount of paperwork or waiting forever for it all to process. Not sure how it was pre-COVID but it’s definitely quick now. My dental hygienist Denise was so fun to talk to. It was like I had come to visit a friend. This really helps if you get nervous or panicky at dental offices. She was really gentle with my cleaning. I’ve had people in the past be extremely rough especially with the flossing but she was gentle and quick! A great place to go to if you get anxiety at the dentist as everyone seemed to be in good spirits and very friendly!

Well so far, they seem fairly competent - but the complaint about long waiting times held true! I was there with my teenage son as a new patient trying to just get our teeth cleaned. Our appointments were for 3 and 4 pm respectively, and my son wasn't called back until after 4! By the time we were done (both had full set of x-rays, and had our teeth cleaned), it was after 6 PM! I like all of the personnel we interacted with, so I'll give them another chance, but we can't afford to lose 1/2 a day to go to the dentist for routine cleanings!

My experience with this dental office is not a pleasant one. Before I came, I confirmed my appt in calling the office by making sure that my appt wasn’t at 10am, because my written appt showed 12 pm. The lady at the office state I still come in and they will see me. As I walked in verifying by another staff with the person who initiated the appt with the endodontics office confirming for 12. Jackie state she’s the one who made the appt, firmly acknowledged it was for 10am. So I drove for nothing, she said that they were not able to do any treatment because it’s getting close to their lunch time. I don’t know why staff on the didn’t not say that it will be too late for that appt when I had given the option. Plus there were few people waiting in. She rescheduled me to cone back at 4 pm, then when I came back seems as I was not being expected, because I had to wait some more for at least 15 min. Then I come back and one staff asking what’s being done for me, so I responded by saying if they review the report from the specialist, knowing they knew I will be back at 4pm. Then another person saying they couldn’t open the file, when they should have requested to be resent from that office so that their staff will have the idea of is going on, rather than me giving them the details of what the other office was recommending. I was really disappointed with overall professionalism and approach.

My complain is not with cost of the of the service but the service and poor attitude of the rotating staff both in front and in back and not being able to follow a treatment plan that was outlined on the first day. We are often told that insurance will pay a certain amount, but then the same insurance will deny payment after services have been rendered. This often leaves the patient with a large bill. Was told at 5:15 that I had to come back for the cleaning because “they” were behind and that they were not scheduling X-rays and cleanings together. Never heard of such! I informed them that if I leave I will not be BACK! This office is unprofessional. When making the appointment I was clear on the reasoning. The fact that some people take off work for appointments are not any considered. Timeliness is not one of their strengths either. Looks like I will be be out of here until 6pm or after that time.

When we first brought our two children to the office for braces we had great service. As time progressed and over the next two year and with many staff changes and the treatment plan that we had lined out for our son seemed to change with every staff change with out our knowledge. With our daughter was very straight forward treatment and the same issues. When we tried to ask questions of the staff about treatment we where told that it was explained to the patient and we had make a appointment . Well the patient was a minor. We were not allowed back in while the doctor was working so we could not ask questions. All it seemed is that they cared about is the money and once we had made our last payment the service really went down. Now here we are in final parts of treatment for my son which took extra 6 to 8 months because of the 6 different doctors we had, the inconsistency of following of the treatment plan and with little to no communication to us the parents. We now look to finish with another dentist.

I went there as a new patient and was nervous since it was my first time being to a dentist but I was slyly made fun of for my appearance compared to my age and it being my first time at a dentist. Im never coming back.they offered my daughtet an antibiotic injection but no numbing medication. Every dentist I know numbs with gel, then the shot of numbing meds, then the antibiotics. He told her do you want two shots? Who wants oral work with no numbing? Go elsewhere !

I'm alittle worried about all the stuff I found out I have wrong...with all there high tech tools. But better to find out soon enough then later.

The lady at the front desk was very snappy and rude because I didn't have my social security card on me. The dentist was awful. You shouldn't feel worse about yourself after leaving a dentist office. I went in needing emergency help so I can EAT and they didn't do anything but lecture me and put me down. I was in years to the point where the dental assistant told me to not cry and that I'll be okay. I have an appointment with a different dentist for a second opinion. I will never come back here again. You have no right to make your patients feel like that or to make them cry.

The staff in front are curt, talk too fast, and come across like everyone knows how this office work’s, what information is expected and why. There is a severe lack of Courtesy And customer service. It seems that the entire “front office “ industry is staffed with women that are severely limited in customer service. As though the patient/ customer is there for their benefit and not the other way around. We were not greeted other than to be ordered to step outside to take our temperature and fill out paper work. No “please” or “thank you” until I had to insist in being treated with more respect and courtesy. It seems to us that the whole of the dental industry and pain management industry cares little for the individual and just plays the numbers as there are so many people needing dental and pain management services what is one or one hundred disrespected patients when there are thousands out there!!!

By far the worst dentist place I've been to. I initially made an appointments for a routine clean up about month ahead.. Once I got to the office I needed to fill out some paperwork, it was 10:02a.m at the time , they had me wait there for 40 mins past my appointment time which I didn't mind because I was new there and I had to go through some paperwork which is understandable. Then they took Me to the back room to do the x-ray. The lady was really nice who did the xray. Her name was Maria. After the X Ray, She had me wait for dentist name Cowan, who was busy at that moment taking care of the next patient.¹ I waited there for nearly hour and half then he comes over, no hello, no how are you?? Just straight to what are we gonna be doing? I told him that I was there for a routine check up and cleaning. He goes over the x-ray and once he's done going over the x ray, He then tells me I can't do cleaning today because he's busy with other clients and begins to makes excuse as if I'm stupid and tells me the machine is not working and If I want cleaning I have to wait another 40 mins so he can do free hand cleaning because he is busy with other patients at that time. Mind you I've already waited 2 hrs for this dentist to see me!! I then told him that I had made an appointment to do a clean up..there was a brief moment of silence then he slams his hand on the desk and agrees to do free hand clean up and walks out. At this point the front desk lady walks in and goes over the finances but was also pretty rude herself , once I told her I had made an appointment for clean up and He's not doing it after I've waited nearly 2.5 hrs. She also didn't know what to say other then make BS excuses about how because I'm new that was the case. I had already filled out my new patient paper work an waited 40 mins for being a new patient prior to me waiting 2.5 hrs in the back room!! So at that point I knew they were FOS and i decided never come back at this location. It was my first and its going to be my last visit at this location. Update: Beware of this Dentist office. Today i went to another dentist office who said I dont have cavity on the tooth that Westcoast Dental office said I had. Looks like they'll say things to get that money out your pocket even if its a factious cavity. Shame on you guys!

The only friendly staff who acknowledged me was the front desk girl. Everyone else was negative, didn’t acknowledge me properly or was rude. The lady who took my payment was rude because I couldn’t afford to pay for both a clean and fill. Her attitude was annoying even when I left the office. Other co workers were having conversations about how they didn’t wanna be there and just wanted to go home. One lady gave me a consent to sign but was in a hurry and asked if I had a pen and I told her I didn’t think so and she said “ok I’ll be back” and never came back and forgot about me. I got there before my appointment time and still had to wait an HOUR to be tended to. The tech was nice and the dentist was ok. I’ve never had cleaning done so quick it almost felt careless. Wasn’t very pleased with this place. Every dentist office Ive been to has been extremely friendly always greeting and acknowledging me. I plan to change where I go. I feel bad writing this review but seriously my experience was awful.

Pretty irritated with the dentist who I saw today. I’ve had good experiences with your location/staff every other time I’ve been in, but not today and I will never come back because of it. I had an appointment scheduled for a tooth extraction, it’s been scheduled for over a week, and it’s the same tooth y’all have told me numerous times needed a root canal + an $800 crown. I’ve let every dentist I’ve seen know that I don’t want the root canal and that I can’t afford the crown. So today I was actually looking forward to having my appointment to have the tooth removed (that should tell you how bad I want it out if I was looking forward to this). I get there and the nice lady at the front tells me I’ll probably have to sign a consent form saying I’m not doing what the dentist is recommending, no problem, I’ll gladly sign it. Then the dentist, who I’ve never met/seen before comes in and tells me that he doesn’t think I should get the extraction. And that “if I was his sister, he wouldn’t recommend it” well sir, I’M NOT YOUR SISTER, I’M YOUR PATIENT. And I have the right to make the final call when it comes to MY medical decisions. I realize as a “doctor” you have the right to refuse the treatment I’m asking for but why couldn’t someone from the office call me and cancel my appointment before I took off work and wasted my time coming in??? Why schedule me at all?? So you can collect money for the wasted appointment from medi-cal. Speaking of Medi-cal, I find it strange that I’ve been told several times, including today, that I need to get this root canal (medi-cal covers that) and the $800 crown (medi-cal does not cover that, and it would be out of pocket) done and taken care of sooner rather later but you refuse to do the next option, the one that you can’t collect my $800 on. Poor service and poor quality dentist today. I’ll never come back here and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else waste their time. Oh and by the way, if I could afford $800 for a crown, do you think I’d actually be coming to your clinic as a patient?? Not a chance. 0 stars rating

We love this dentist office HOWEVER today was not a good experience. My daughter went in to have 2 teeth pulled and she was nervous so I was in the room with her. They asked me to wait in the lobby so I did. An hour later she comes out and they explain to me they pulled all 4 of her last baby teeth. She tells me she was crying in the room because it hurt. I'm mostly bothered by the fact that NOBODY communicated with me about extra teeth or that my daughter needed me.

Be prepared to wait at least an hour after your appointment time. They overbook appoitments so frustrating. They book appointments even though they do not have proper paperwork (referral). Staff is not organized. Dentist left the office before scheduled appointment time. Office staff was too busy to call and reschuled my appointment even though dentist left the office. So I wasted my time and gas driving to my scheduled appointment . I would not recommend this place unless you like sitting in waiting rooms wasting time. I tried using this office on 2 different occasions both very time consuming and frustrating. I would not reccomend.

The staff, technicians and oral surgeon were all very kind and welcoming. HOWEVER, the staff didn’t do their job at my expense. I showed up to an appointment to have my wisdom teeth pulled and because they didn’t receive my referral we had to reschedule. While in the office they processed all paperwork TO INCLUDE my insurance and my preference of local anesthesia and nitrous oxide. I show up two weeks later to have my teeth pulled and upon sitting in the chair they inform me that for me to receive nitrous they have to get authorization and that would take two weeks. So here I am, ready in the dentist chair, and my choices are to reschedule again or to pay them cash, $250, for nitrous. So I have it done stone sober, because I don’t have any extra $250, with tears in my eyes from the anxiety. Do they give me pain meds to help with the fact that right now my entire face is throbbing? Sure, Tylenol, which is doing nothing to help. So, if you go, be sure to do their job and talk to your insurance and their staff so that everything is handled by the time you show up. And if you’re having teeth pulled, make sure they give you pain meds that work.

The actual dental work was excellent. I needed a new crown and all went well. However the office needs additional training for my particular situation. I have had open heart surgery including an artificial heart valve. Even though I brought a letter from my cardiologist my computer record was not flagged. I needed 4 500mg amoxicillin before any dental work. The person I talked to in the office did not seem to understand and became very impatient with me. She never called back. I called later in the afternoon and talked to Roberta. She called the RX to CVS for me. The people I dealt with in the check in area did not seem to understand. I believe they need additional training on how to handle my situation.

The dentist is just amazing! He also has amazing staff. Today I had a cleaning with the hygienist Katie and it was beyond what I expected! Not only did she give me the best cleaning that I’ve ever had in my 33 years of living (no exaggeration) but she’s so sweet and fun to talk to. She took her time and the cleaning was very thorough and she educated me on toothpaste and what causes staining etc. I would recommend this dental office to anyone.

I am completely & utterly shocked after my daughters appointment. She just turned 4 a few weeks ago. Our appointment was at 11 and I arrived at 10:45 because consents need to be signed each time. We did not get called back until 11:45 after I kindly reminded them at 11:40 that our appointment time was 40 minutes ago. She says that another dentist is in office today and they’re sharing then rooms with that dentist. This should’ve been accounted for during scheduling. The waiting room was full of people who had been waiting 45 min plus for appointments. The dentist comes to take a look (not our usual dentist either, so somehow we got assigned to the other dentist). She says my kid has 4 cavities on the upper front teeth. I ask about treatment. And she says that typically the kids get crowns, usually they’re strapped to a board “for their safety” and a block is used to keep their mouth open. Parents are not allowed back at all and stay in the waiting room the entire time. She told me to expect some tears and even some yelling (which is why they use the block). Mind you, my kid was totally calm & compliant the entire visit. I told her I’m not comfortable with that. And she says I would have to be comfortable with that. And I said I don’t want my daughter to be sedated, alone, strapped to a board with her mouth blocked open without me and she says well then I can go somewhere else. Then she tells me we have to wait for tools to be done sterilizing for our cleaning. Which will be 20 minutes. It’s 12:20 at this point, almost 1.5 hours passed our appointment today. I complain and then suddenly the tools are done. So I don’t know if they were lying before or if they used unsterilized materials. From that point I disagreed with the dentist onward we were practically labeled as defiant for requesting a second opinion and our next cleaning was not even offered to be scheduled. The hygienist who did the cleaning did not speak, encourage or support my toddler once. Did not explain what tools he was using or what he was doing. I did that. Just was very cold. This is not the first time we have had long wait times at this dentist but it is the first time I’ve heard of such barbaric procedural policy. I’ve always been able to accompany my older children into any necessary dental procedure especially if they are partly sedated. I didn’t mind the longer wait times in the past because the care was always understanding and kind. Today the wait was unacceptable and the care was too. I used to recommend West Coast Dental to everyone but in the last year, things have really gone south.

I got off to a rough start with WCD of Menifee. But after a new office manager came in, and doctors began to be consistent, I could not be more pleased. Issues are always going to come up, but for me as a consumer, it is critically important as to how an issue is dealt with. Jackie and Dr. Bashaar (sp?) went out of their way to assure that a very poor experience turned around to become an excellent experience in caring and problem management. I have given this place a bad review before, bit this visit was great! I was going to be late and they were able to still squeeze me in. My appointment was to get my three wisdom teeth removed. The appointment was with the oral surgeon instead of the regular dentists and the dental assistant they was there that day was not a regular. I have to say that the dental assistant was the best I have ever had! Her name is Dona and she was so sweet, funny and caring. She was attentive to when I was feeling nervous or uncomfortable. The doctor explained every step of the procedure very thoroughly and did not mind and questions or concerns that I had. The doctor and Dona were also being goofy and trying to distract me from focusing on what was going on, so it felt like everything went very quickly. Overall, I am not a fan of West Coast Dental of Menifee itself, but I gave these two 5 stars.

Great experience. I broke a molar at lunch. I walked into West Coast Dental at 3:30 without an appointment, had ex-rays dentist consult, temporary filling, a plan of attack and out the door before 4:45. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend!

The places is nice and clean and the people are friendly, but I had a 1pm appointment for my kids to be evaluated. I was there at 1pm but they weren't seen until well after 1:45pm. I had to leave so another family member had to replace me. It's a real disappointment when you have an appointment and you do your best to get there no matter what's going on in your life. That morning I had to drive from Los Angeles to Menifee, pick up my kids to make it there just on time. Ssshhhoo. It's just a pet peeve to go to these places of business with an appointment and get put on hold so long.

This place is atrocious and a joke. The receptionist admitted it’s not their responsibility to make sure they have all necessary referrals. Why make an appointment for someone when you don’t have the necessary documentation? Logic escapes the individuals working in this office. Of course nothing is their fault and they blame “systems down” when called out on their failures. Save yourself time and stress find another dental office. I would only recommend this place to my worse enemy.

The Dr. and people at the front desk are always so nice to us and always remember me and my wife. They just opened another W.C.D. near my house, but I still drive out to Menifee because that's where I'm most comfortable.

It would take too long to go into detail about how much I just like this dentist very much . Awful. Went here had a cavity filled. One of them they did not do correctly. Went back in because of the pain I was in. They told me it was my choice if I want a root canal and couldn't give me their professional opinion as to if I need one or not. On top of that they overcharged me $100 and trying to get it back was a nightmare. Gave them my current insurance copay schedule, and they lost it. Seriously took almost 6 months to get my money back. I called more than I should have and the lady I needed to speak to was always out of the office. Friendly but very unprofessional.

The staff was quite nice especially Jen. But dr. Aronson was quite terrible. She get a root canal and left me a considerable amount of pain. She gave me a cell number if I was in pain so she could take care of it but she didn't even call me back. Come to find out she's new at West Coast Dental. And I wouldn't recommend seeing her. If you have an appointment and a root canal to be done, just make sure it's not dr. Aronson doing it unless you don't mind being in pain. And being left in pain until you see someone else.

Wait time is horrible for a simple cleaning. I went in with my daughter to be assessed for braces. The orthodontist barely looked at her mouth. He seemed very rushed. I explained she had an extra tooth that may need to be removed. Long story short they went back and forth with my appointments. We took my daughter in to two appts, which they said she had to be refereed by someone else. They need to get on the same page. I also told the front staff my mother would take my daughter in because I was at work. Jesus said it was fine. When my mom took her in they were so rude that my mother took her in . Staff by the name of Jennifer I believe, even said out loud "I dont know why they send them with their grandparents so stressful." How unprofessional to speak about patients in that manner. What is stressful is that a Dental Office isn't organized and has patients come in to appts, they can not service.

My dentist for 11 years passed away so a friend referred me to west coast dental Menifee. My first visit with Dr Lewin was amazing. This was 6 months ago. He was the reason i decided to go to them. I sent my Wife and daughter to them they had bad experiences with a different dentist .My daughter came home with a sore mouth. My Wife said her dentist did not do her filling right and she had to come back the next day so they could fix it. She had to wait 2 hrs just to be seen to do a 5 minute job. We will not be coming back . I thought it was strange that I had a different dentist when I came in today. I thought maybe Dr Lewin was on vacation but no I was told later that he moved to another office. I can see now because when he was there West coast Dental had amazing reviews, but now there reviews are horrible. Well off to go find another dentist.

Terrible place please NNNOOO come to this place, to begin with they have cockroaches, they make you wait a long time and they are supposed to explain to you what you need first and step by step when they do the and I told them NO because I first occupied the root channel because I already had discomfort and it turns out that the specialist was NOT there and I would apologize that they did not know because they had not notified me and when I arrived the girl in front of me knew what I was coming for and those inside did not and the specialist was not going to come until July 13 when today is July 2, they need more training and the one in charge of the finances did not want to return my money.

Went to an Ortho consultation early May, was told they had to submit a preauthorization to my insurance company and that they would return my call in a few weeks. After about the third week I called West coast since I had not heard anything. First person I talked to told me to call back the following week since they seemed to not have anything on file. I called the following week and was told someone from ortho would be there the following Monday (the 11th), and to call then since they would have more information on the status. Then, I called Monday and was told they still had not heard anything back, but that they would have Sarah from ortho call be me on Wednesday (keep in mind it has now been over a month). I decide to call my insurance company to see what could be taking them so long, and am told they have nothing submitted from West Coast- and no...no pre approval forms or anything! Come Wednesday I have yet to hear back from Sarah, so I call and speak with someone else from Ortho there who tells me they still have nothing, so I asked when they submitted my pre approval and she tells me it was submitted Tuesday the 12th.... MORE THAN A MONTH after my consultation. I have now also contacted my insurance company who tells me they STILL have not received anything! Definitely will not be coming back.

Nothing but a corporate dentist about stats and money. While waiting I am hear the employees talking about how well they did the day before how many people got processed the day before. I get pulled back for X-rays 30 min later. Then go to room and continue to wait. Dr comes in checks X-rays and inspects teeth. Recommends a bunch of procedures, like I haven’t been to the dentist in years (it was 7 months ago). I tell him I’m not interested. Another employee comes in says someone will come discuss financials, I state clearly not doing any of it she doesn’t need to. She says she understands but she still has to. Another girl tries to take me back for pictures, I ask at this point if I’m getting my teeth cleaned at all (already there for 1.5hrs) another girl comes in stating it will be $99. My insurance covers cleaning but they want me to have a deeper cleaning. Nope, I’m just hear for a cleaning. At that point I walked out. I will not be returning and cancelling my families apts. I hate corporate dentist who are just about statistics and financials.

I scheduled emergency appointment with my dentist. I confirmed 3x I would be seeing a certain dentist, since I was driving an hour to get there. They assured me I was. I arrived at12:30. Seen at 1:15 by a different dentist. Told my dentist was at another location. The dentist looked at my tooth which had decayed and was causing me excrucitating pain. She left room without saying anything. Assistant came in and said the prior auth (requested two months earlier) was still pending so there was nothing they could do. No cray was even taken. When I complained about the pain I was offered antibiotic. Told to call them in a few days to see if they could get auth. (They couldn't even be bothered to call me when they got it.). Have no idea if I really have infection...but taking them in hope'of pain relief. TOTAL WASTE OF GAS AND TIME. VERY UPSET AT THE BAIT AND SWITCH TACTIC ALSO.

This was my third cleaning at this office and I was not happy this last time. The x-rays and the doctor was completed within 15 minutes of my appointment, which was fine. However, the hygienist came in for 5 minutes, probed, stated I needed a regular cleaning, gave the treatment plan to the front and there I sat. I waited 45 mins for the front office to come tell me about the fluoride, then the assistant came to polish and was never seen by the hygienist afterwards. So overall, my appointment was an hour and 15 mins, just to get polished. Not very happy about that appointment and we will see what happens next visit.

Was not impressed.. the dental assistant took more attention to my visit, the dentist looked in my mouth literally 2 seconds, told me everything I told them about reasons I was there and sent in the insurance biller which did not listen when I told her that he failed to look at any of my teeth.. said the dentist had reviewed all by x-ray...?? Then said it would take 6 weeks to get an approval from my insurance company, I was looking for a place to take my family and this is not it!! Off to find a real dentist ?

Office is unorganized. Started braces for my daughter in August, and they never submitted referral to my insurance. Come October I finally screamed loud enough to get the process started. Now in April and they still haven't gotten the baby tooth pulled and adult tooth on a chain to getting down. Called us on our way to appointment to change date. Sends reminder texts of upcoming appointments for night time when closed. Twice I've talked to Perla and she won't get the right information to a manager, so it's never taken care of. Unable to find referrals in our chart. New staff because of the horrible care they give. Hate I'm stuck here with our insurance.

Unfortunately my experience At west coast dental of Menifee has not been positive. The staff and 1 dentist they have are great however the wait times are absurd. You get taken back after an hour of waiting and then it’s a game of shuffle from room to room by the dentist. They are not staffed appropriately and that’s the fault of the ownership. I have spent a lot of $$ here and will not be returning. Customer experience matters and hopefully you guys figure that out.

My last dental cleaning was a 2 hour appointment. I thought that maybe you just happened to be a little too busy that morning. This morning at my second cleaning here, the initial wait time just to get seen was over an hour. Then 30 minutes for simple x-rays, and another hour for a simple dental cleaning. My entire morning was spent at the dentist this morning. I’ve had dental cleanings and x-rays plenty of times and been done and out within an hour. Almost 3 hours is way too long. Some other things you can work on...maybe politely ASK the patient whether or not they would like the Dr. recommended services instead of trying to book them the same day. This is how it comes off...that we are just another number to make money off of and not about the personal experience. The Dr. came in for 30 seconds, scooped a mirror around my teeth and was out of the room..just to add another reason to that comment. I absolutely HATE giving bad feedback unless it’s absolutely necessary and I think it’s better to be honest. I think this is something that needs to be worked on. Simple things that can be fixed to improve your patient’s experience. Don’t book 5 other patients with the same appointment time. Time and personable experience with patients is much more important because we are what keep your businesses going. I gave it a 2 star because of the very sweet and friendly x-ray tech and dental hygienist. I’m sorry to give poor feedback but I’d rather be honest so that you guys can work on it. I initially saw good feedback, which is why I decided to go to you guys. I don’t think I would have, had I known this is how long a simple dental cleaning takes.

They are always BEHIND SCHEDULE. If you hire them be ready to sit in the office for 45 minutes before you are taken back. And they never have appointments!!! They don't tell you when you sign contracts that they only have Ortho in the office every other Wednesday, hence it's very hard to get the appointment you need. I definitely wouldn't rehire them.

They are rude, they are judgmental, and they are not very compassionate to making people wait one and a half to two hours at a time and then telling you that you need to come back. My first experience at Western Dental was a very good one. Have had bad dental work done in the past at a high price. The staff was warm and friendly. Explained what was going to happen next and was very gentle. Great bed side manners. Facility was clean . Wait time was alittle long. Your orthodontist wanted to pull two adult teeth in order to put braces on my 11 year old son. His jaw is not fully grown and talking to friends with braces experience, they said I made the correct choice as they had braces when they were young only to have braces again later. Your orthodontist made a belittling remark about my decision when he gave my sons file back to the front desk. Other than that, the front office was great and our regular checkups were good. Your staff didn't try to upsell a deep cleaning like other dental offices.

Went in for a root canal yesterday, and I have an extremely bad fear of dentists. I've had two root canals done before, and in both of those cases it took an upwards of three hours per tooth, with a serious amount of pain for two weeks afterward. Came here, got it done in just over an hour (And apparently I have difficult teeth, four roots and curvy canals). Next morning there's no pain or soreness at all. Highly recommended.

I am naturally terrified when someone even says dentist. But even the staff makes you feel very comfortable. They played music while working on me and it settled me down alot. The doctor was great and kept asking me if everything was ok and if I was comfortable. They took care of my bad tooth without trying to make me do more work $$$$. I do have to go back and take care of two other teeth to avoid another root canal. I don't thank anyone enjoys the dentist bit I can say my experience at West Coast Dental was terrific. The employees are awesome and the doctor is amazing. I have had pain in my mouth for years. Now there is none. Three teeth taken out. Crown installed and next my partials. So of your looking for.a dentists than WCD is the only place. I'm take. My kids and wife here for the experience and from this day forward we will have a great set of teeth and smile. Thanks West Coast Dental

Am I in a dentist office or jiffy lube ? Carpet is filthy, lights in exam rooms above exam chairs are filled with dead bugs.tried to take picture of light fixture but you get the idea.Been coming here awhile but gonna look elsewhere.
