I came to my appointment 2 hours earlier wasn't greeted was not help they didn't care to ask me what I need help with or anything completely ignored me while waiting and as I Approached The lobby area this has to be the Worst location ever.

Part 1-Veyda Pena Had a horrible experience with pediatrician dentist and will never be returning. Daughter is 4yrs old and we saw the dentist on March 19th at 11:30am. She is starting school in August so we needed to get a dental clearance form filled out and signed to start school. She performed X-rays and said my daughter and 2 small cavities she showed me the pictures. medical assistant came in with results and told me that a procedure could be done for the cavities and would require putting sedative on her and explained what would be done and would cost $900. I respectfully declined as I didn’t feel the need to do that right at that moment since it was just 2 small cavities. They said okay then when I received her school clearance form back the doctor had checked off the circle that stated “needs urgent medical attention”. (Pt has pain, swelling, bleeding) and checked off “did not proceed with service, needs follow up visit to urgent care”My eyes opened in shock as this was a lie. I showed the billing assistant what was circled and she said she will let the dentist know so she can change it. She came back stating that the dentist refused to sign or change anything unless my daughter had the procedure done. I told her but she is lying, my daughter does not need urgent medical attention(has pain and swelling,bleeding). I said she’s making a false statement. The assistant said dentist won’t sign. Medical assistant billed understood the issue and agreed so she white out corrected the form and just hand written the dentists name and put the stamp. So I submitted the form to my daughters school as is with printed name of dentist no signature from her. I will never go back again and let the hands of this pediatrician dentist touch my daughter. If she could lie about this for money, who knows what else she could do

They tricked me into filling two teeth, in reality it was one, the other was very minimal, they charged me $1,590. The bad thing was that they tricked me by saying that it was for credit, that way I said yes, but I didn't know that the price for 2 fillings was $1,590. I went to complain and they say it's the company's policy.

If I could leave negative stars I would. They recommend procedures that aren't necessary that are costly. My son had a recent check up and I was told he had 6 cavities and 2 of the 6 needed 2 root canals, but on a recent prior checkup at the same office I was told he had no issues. They also recommended braces for my 9 year old daughter, in which I later learned it wasnt necessary that early and that I will still probably have to get them for her again later. I left this office and moved to another and my sons checkup resulted in him having no issues. Don't trust this office with your family or to have your best interest in mind. They are about making money and that's it

We always wait like about one hour or more from when my appointment is to even get attended. I don’t get Why you book 3 to 4 customers at the same time? Your time management is horrible and every time we go it seems like something is always occurring where the service is always slow and bad . This past weekend, I took my husband as a new customer. We both had an appointment at nine in the morning. We waited over an hour at the lobby And then when it was my turn to get my x-rays done. I was notified that I was only able to get my x-rays And I would have to come next time to get serviced or to see the dentist because he had called Off and the one you had was out of network. I don’t get why we were not notified. You wasted our time. You didn’t even give us the option to choose . Luckily, the guy who was doing x-rays let me go speak to my husband . You the girl kept pressuring about taking x-rays . I declined . After I came back from speaking with my husband . I told her we were leaving you pulled me to the side to ask why . I was trying to be understanding, but it’s always the same thing and Things have Not got in better I kept trying to be optimistic and giving you the benefit of the doubt , But it’s always the same thing, for this we decided not to come back to this office anymore. Terrible time management .

Dr. Bengal removed my lower left wisdom tooth. He made sure I was comfortable all through the procedure. Very professional and friendly staff . The dentist assistants were nice too. Doctor is young but very knowledgeable and moves his hands with care and experience. Will definitely be going back to remove my other wisdom teeth. Best place to go!! He cares about his patients .

Bad experience, I don't recommend, I went. To have a temporary tooth removed and the entire post removed by a specialist from Molina, but I had seen that my Insurance had 30,000, they don't have the right tool, I think a doctor from India doesn't know how to work, but they know how to charge, now I have to get an implant that will cost me almost 3,000 by chance. True, but I didn't get it there. They take out all my teeth. I don't recommend. Don't even go there. They are healthy and I have proof. They all tell me to sue them. And I don't know what to do. They didn't take responsibility.

They are not professional nor are they respectable people. My family member was recommended to go to this place via Access Dental Plan. They didn’t do any work at all( not cleaning or anything). Not only did they try to get my family member to pay upfront for work they said they’d have to do, but when we called Access Dental Plan back to tell them about the issue, they informed us that the manager of the place was billing the work to be done incorrectly and that my family member is not supposed to pay upfront at all because he’s covered for the services needed through insurance. My aunt ended up merging the call with Access Dental Plan to the receptionist( who also alleged that in order to have work done my family member would have to pay upfront) that they gave incorrect information to us, and that they have to send the pre-authorization to Access Dental Plan to do the required work. We called today, and not only did we find out that the receptionist Jasmine and the manager didn’t send the pre authorization paper but they also scheduled an appointment without telling my family member what it would be for. I do not recommend having services done at West Coast Dental on Long Beach Blvd. I do believe it was also possibly racial discrimination in how they treated us, and I hope that there will be some resolution soon.

This was my first and last Visit. I came in ten minutes early as ask. I sat in the waiting room 1:39pm with no communication nor eye contact from none of the staff. I walked up to the wi dow at 1:39 pm to ask how long they stated " 10 minutes more" and there was one gentlemen in front of me so that would have been another 30 minutes. Due to the only have one X-Ray room.

For me it was not a good experience. Overall Customer Service is very lacking. Seems like focus is clearly on getting more money out of me and opinions were not to my best interest. No parking available of their own. You must park across the street at Walgreens because the other businesses on their side have tow truck come tow your vehicle. Place has poor maintenance on site plus faulty equipment. Water function wasn't working on BOTH of my visits. I was left unattended at my second visit because dentist's car trunk was opened and apparently all staff had to run outside to resolve the matter? (While I needed gauzes inside my mouth for my bleeding and wasn't even acknowledged). Lastly, I had to endure a strong odor from the Dentist performing my work on BOTH OCCASIONS. (I'm not trying to insult anyone but I know there's many people that will be way more affected by such things than myself so I think it's worth to take the time to share to avoid you this trouble and bad experience. Some people will literally start to gag.) The deep cleaning job felt rushed and done in 20min each side and coming in 2 visits. Paid roughly $209 out of pocket and they charged my insurance about $400 something. So about $600 for a total of approximately 40 min of work, poor service, faulty equipment and bad experience... But I guess I should be thankful that they didn't mess me up with my teeth any other way during my one & only visit!! I will not return here. ?

My appointment was at 8am and the office was not open until after 8:30am. Then i wasn’t seen until after 9am. I was waiting for 3 cavities to be filled and wasn’t seen for another hour. I was there until 11am and no fills were done, i had to reschedule for a Saturday because i can’t take another day off. Don’t want to recommend or come here again.

Poor horrible service from front desk totally unprofessional .......you walk in there and they don't greet you (i heard her make her calls while i waited on waiting room and she was very rude with patients) i also hesrd other comments made by her while i waited .this is by faaaaar the worst dental place ive been to. If you can go to any other place go and avoid coming here please. They let me in with patience then they realized I wasn't the parent and i was asked to step out side....extremely un profesional by all means...no wonder they have 3.8 stars....i didn't feel welcome,or respected at all times.i worry this treatment continues with other patients....if you're going to waste you're hard earned money for dental work make sure its well invested in a good place who will provide a great service ..

Ignoring the bad reviews, I chose this clinic because my first impression was good. What a mistake ???!!!!!! They turned out to be a bunch of thieves, and even though my insurance covers everything, they made up claims that their products were special and didn't like using the ones my insurance covered... They even wanted to charge me for the cleaning, supposedly because that's what their products were special for... Please, people, be very careful and don't let them steal from you... Make sure your coverage is respected and don't let the person in charge of tricking you into deception trick you. ALERT ? if they take you to an office when you enter, turn right... Be very careful. I was saved and left very disappointed and upset. I took the time to write down my bad experience in detail, hoping it helps someone...

In my personal experience it was terrible, in general a terrible service, most unpleasant, the staff had nothing to do with professionalism, we went this Saturday September 10 and supposedly our insurance company, what a coincidence that it didn't cover absolutely anything, how convenient, right? Because they use the best material and the insurance does not cover that, everything is very expensive and they already have everything ready for you to sign, of course, THE WORST DENTAL CLINIC I HAVE EVER VISITED,, Please don't fall for them, there are more options!!!

Today experience was horrible, was in there for 4hrs after my appointment was at 1pm. The staff was very unprofessional talking about personal problems/ joking around very loudly at work with all the patients in there. Also the blonde receptionist very un polite and full of attitude towards questions. Definitely moving to a different dentist clinic after today’s overall experience.

Worst possible dentist ever. They will “check” your coverage to confirm their work is covered then bill you after. When you call to speak about the charges they will then avoid you over the phone and in person so that they can send your bill that you never agreed to to collection. They will send no contact and will not each out at all. To make things better original service was done may 2021 and you will find out June 2022 that you are in collection. Non of the office management is ever available and non of the office management will return any call. The organization can’t possibly be worse. This business is nothing but thiefs, cheats, and liars. Don’t trust them to do anything but make themselves money while destroying the community they claim to serve.

It was the first time taking my 2 year old to the dentist. They had great reviews so I chose them. They talked to my son so sweet to help calm him down and gave him spider man stickers. What I did like the most is that they have the parent present and hold the child instead of them. They give great feedback and also want to know what your child eats and drink so they take better care of their teeth. And they want to know your questions as well.

Love it! Never had a problem with anyone or anything about there services. My whole family goes there and I'm driving from Lancaster so they must be good ?. It's the state insurance that stops them from helping people like they really need to. They only approve so much and everyone doesn't have the money to pay for the rest. NEVER AGAIN! I changed clinics immediately after my son's worst life experience ? first: the area is not pleasant and the façade is completely neglected. It is at a bus stop so any lazy person who thinks of entering can do so, in my waiting time (which they have you waiting for half an hour or more) that's how it happened and it was a horrible fear that made me go through because he started touching his parts inside the office and no one did anything to get him out, at the time of my son's dental process I was not allowed to enter and he went to closed door my son's screams were a shock I couldn't even talk to him outside the door to let him know that I was there that made his agony more traumatic ?, I decided not to do the full treatment and the receptionist did not understand my request and they ended up doing it... never in my life could I experience such a painful experience with my son... I write this on the day of the incident, I hope we recover emotionally from this ?

The front desk staff are really friendly and understanding. However the wait time is ridiculous. Every time I attend its more than a 4 hour wait just to make me another appointment. There was a day I waited 8 hours. They need to stop overscheduling appointments if the doctor is not equipped to see all patients in a timely manner.

I would give them 0 starts if I could. I had an appointment today at 3. I got there about 8 minutes before my appointment. I waited about an 1 and 20 min and they still didn’t call me. Their wait time is horrible.

If i could give 0 stars, I would. Just left a wisdom tooth extraction. Was expected to sign an affidavit saying I was explained the procedure and associated acts in their entirety. I wish I could say someone did so, but that was not the case. I go in, doctor explains lightly only what he needs to to try to convince me to purchase another procedure, which I chose against. Down to the actual procedure (which I learned actually required anesthesia for the extraction of IMPACTED wisdom teeth), my back teeth were hacked (literally drilled and cracked down) by the doctor who actually had to reapply anesthesia bc one of the back teeth was not properly anesthetized. To top it all off, I went from the chair to the door. No sanitary rinse. Nothing explaining after-procedure protocol but a paper with light ink instructions. Horrible experience.

Absolutely terrible service. To start off they asked me if anything concerned me with my teeth and when I told them they completely ignored it and tried to sell me on all this extra stuff that had nothing to do with my concern. Then when it came time for them to bill me they gave me a $500 bill which I didn't think much of. I set up payments and went on my way. Then when I mentioned it to my HR department at work he said our insurance should have covered more and the out of pocket should have been less. So come to find out they billed the wrong insurance company even though I gave them my card and of course the insurance company came back and said I had to pay $3000 for the service. When I told them all they told me was they were short staffed and that I would have to figure it out before they sent me to collections. So this has been going on for the last year and they still have not fixed the billing, they sent me to collections, and they continue to give me the run around when I try and get it fixed. This place is 90% scam and 10% dentistry would not recommend for anyone.

Unfortunately, insurance companies don't always treat the client or the service provider fairly. We are often told that insurance will pay a certain amount, but then the same insurance will deny payment after services have been rendered. This often leaves the patient with a large bill. The front desk isn’t very courteous. They’re always chatting and laughing loudly. The first time I went someone had their kids there. This time they were all eating and chatting. I had been waiting 30mins and asked when they were calling me. All 4 employees blankly starred at me and said nothing. When I said hello are you going to sit there are say nothing one of them decides to say they had candy in their mouth. I waited 55mins until they actually started working on my mouth. The first time it was the biggest back in forth on why I refused to have polish with fluoride. They kept question my decision not to have any fluoride.

Went there expecting to get an extraction of what a thought was a broken tooth when only it was a broken filling. The doctor told me that he does not like extracting teeth and he can do a root canal which is covered by my insurance. Can also get a crown on the tooth next to it that is covered by my insurance. I gave it four stars because I have to wait 4 to 6 weeks for approval

I switched to west coast Dental from Western dental like 4 years ago because of the Long wait. Well until last week everything was fine, I had to bring my kids for a 6 month check up I waited about 2 hours for them to tell me my kids needed fillings but they couldn't do them that day because they where busy so I had to make another appointment for next week. We had the appointments today we arrived at 11:50 one of the appointments was at 12:00 to my surprise we waited about an hour for my 1st son to be called just to put him in a room and make him wait another hour tho get his fillings done, at around 2:30 they called my other son in, he got out at 3:40 just to tell me I have to make another appointment because he only got 1 of 3 fillings done! When I asked the receptionist the reason she said it was because they where too busy, I told her that wasn't an excuse they had my son in a room fir 1 whole hour to make just 1 filling she reply I could make a complaint with corporate I told her the best I could do is take my kids to another clinic they had so many people scheduled that there was no where to sit down. I lost 4 hours of my life for nothing! I don't recommend anyone to go there unless you want to spend 4+ hours to be seen.

I have been attending this place since about a year and a half ago. The staff in the front desk is very kind and the services has been well. My daughter is receiving an Orthodontic service and she has to go once a month to see the specialist who is only at the clinic in certain days. This week on Monday she had an appointment at 3pm. We arrived 15 mins before 3pm. The waiting room was crowded, no place to sit because the place is really small and she remained standing up at the door until 4:05pm when she was finally called in. She received a rushed service this time and by 4:20pm she was already outside looking for me in the parking lot. I had to remained outside since there was not a parking spot available in the shopping center. She also told me that they didn't even send her to brush her teeth in the restroom as they have it done in previous appointments before changing the rubber bands and the assistant was very very rude. I think that due to safety reasons being in Los Angeles where the earthquakes are frequently happening this days, they should not schedule too many people at the same time. That is a threatened liability and it's very unsafe. It is my guess that this happened because they cancelled the appointment for the 4th of July weekend for my daughter and probably for other patients too and they had to reschedule us for the day the specialist will be there.

This office is not bad wait time are not too long and service is ok however I didn't appreciate that the lady who gives price and explains what the insurance company cover those not understand what the word recommendation means so here i will explain it a recommendation is a suggestion or proposal as to the best course of action it does not mean that i as s patient have no option I feel that they just push for upgrade it work even afterwards I told her that I DIDN'T WANT THE CROWN MATERIAL THE LADY WENT AND ORDERED IT ANYWAYS AND WHEN I TOLD HER I DIDN'T WANT THAT SHE STARTED TO ARGUE THAT THE WAS THE DOCTOR RECOMMENDATION i didn't like the fact that the dental office is not transparent with their clients its all about money

All the staff was very nice and helpful. Dr. Carrasco was great. He was kind and explained everything to me where I could understand clearly when I need it. Norma help me and that's financials area. I honestly had a good experience, first time taking my daughter to a dentist. She was scared at first but the dentist assistant was just amazing, I’m sad I didn’t get her name. The dentist was very nice to her and explained what she needed and kept asking us if we had any questions. Lastly, the receptionist were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely keep bringing my daughter here.

Beware! Found this place for my father under the impression they accepted his dental insurance. Once in there they "upsold" on $6000 worth of work and crowns that happen to NOT BE COVERED by his insurance. They ended up signing him up for a loan he never need and was never informed they were signing him up for a loan or running his credit. He was told he would be paying as the work is being performed. These people are taking advantage of elder patients. Definitely will be filing an elderly abuse claim. He went in for only one visit and is now being bill $2400 for services rendered. They do everything possible to NOT let you speak with their regional managers also. TOTAL FRAUD.

Receptionist very friendly. Dentist comes off friendly buts a con . I spent my money , left unsatisfied. Basically in tears . And he smiled when i came back as if he knew what he did . Terrible Service, had many issues with appoitments and services. They are quick to charge you and qualify you for credit when needed. Called the corporate office to try and resolve these issues and got the run around. Was told a Regional manager was going to be in contact with me and never did. Services have not been rendered and will be seeking a charge back of payments due to these ongoing issues.

Long wait, there is only one dentist and they don't have any more birds, they arrive late and they just want to get paid, they don't care later. Bad grades go somewhere else. They just charge and then it's worth it Long wait theres only 1 dentist doctor, sometimes there late and do things quickly went there once and never went back really bad reviews

The Dr. Was so gentle and understanding I was very nervous and she let me pause in between to relax. They answered all my questions. Was treated very good even if medical covered part of my treatment. They helped me apply for care credit and it was very easy. Staff is nice and friendly. I'm coming here for all my dental needs.

I love this place. I met the dentist and the orthodontist. Very friendly and well educated doctors. The only thing I hate is the parking lot. NUMERO UNO market really ruined the space there. Everyone that I recommend this place says they rather not go because of the parking.

They need to work on their customer service skills. Their technique in dentistry is good, the only problem for me was that I didn't know who I was talking to. Ask me to tell you the name of 1 person there... I won't be able to answer that. Nobody introduced themselves or told me who was the technician or the dentist. There was also no explanation as to the process of the procedure like "I'm going to treat this area, your going to feel a sting". My anxiety went through the roof. I brace myself if people walk me through procedures and I don't get as anxious. But that was not the case here.

Everybody was nice. The doctor was informative. BUT it was only in for a check up and spent over 3 hours. The wait in the lovely was a hour. After they brought me in for the x rays the first chair they sat me in was a hour and then another hour jus to see the doctor. I started to ask how long until the next part of the appointment was and they politely apologized the the delay. Great place and very professional. I would go again and hope it won't take another 3 hours
