This office has a horrible scheduling staff. Last time I was scheduled I waited 45 min just for them to tell me they are short staffed and they will need to change my appointment for another day. I was scheduled today 7/7/25 for a cleaning and have been here over an hour saw all these people get called before me and I was here first just for them to say I’ve been sitting here over an hour just for x ray and there are 2 people in front of me. What is the point of having an apt if I’m gonna be sitting here over an hour past my apt time I left work early for this. The staff doesn’t even show any type of empathy or even try to say they are sorry.

Do not recommend office staff was kind however I was in the office 3 hours in pain. When I was seen a treatment plan was made. It consisted of a large amount of future work. The office wanted to charge my insurance for the entirety of the plan and have me finance the remaining balance. Instead of just offering me the service I need to relieve the current pain

I would put zero stars if I could. Outside of the ridiculous waiting time, I’m talking hours not minutes after your scheduled appointment, they have dentist there that have no clue what they’re doing. I paid out of pocket for work I will need to redo. I am worse off by going here then I started and have already taken it to legal counsel. My advice is to save yourself money, time, and lots of pain… oh yes and teeth you can never get back, by NOT going here.

I have been on a very long search to finding a great dentist and I think my search has ended! From day one great experience! Its not over crowded , the front desk attendants are very respectful. I have alot of anxiety with dentists and the procedures of getting my fillings, numbing etc was great! They even had a menu of things you can have to comfort yourself like earplugs, blanket, stress ball etc to stay calm. I thought that was very awesome! Before finding this dentist I thought all hope was lost in Hemet but we gave them a try and we are getting amazing work done on our teeth! Thankyou Formica!

I had to leave a review after reading the exact same thing that happened to me when I went to this dental office. I arrived early for my appointment as asked in their conformation text sent to me. This over booked standing room only dentists office likes to treat their patients like cattle. They also have no value for your time. Had to cancel the appointment in the office. I was told that I was looking at several hours before being seen for the appointment that was made weeks out. Mooooooooooo goes the cattle. I will not be returning.

Worst experience ever! From scheduling to treatment. |'ve dealt with this office on several occasions for my kids, and every time they are short staffed (especially on Saturdays). The 1st time, we waited 2 hours for a simple cleaning & xrays. The 2nd time, we waited 1 hour for them to just do xrays & tell me we had to come back for the cleaning due to them not having a hygienist. In addition they kept trying to push us to see the orthodontist when I advised them that my son did not require braces, my daughter already had braces & my other daughter was too young they told me it was their policy to have them see the Ortho, which did not make sense to me. Don't waste your time here.

This review is Not for the office itself, it’s more for the Oral Surgeon. My mom went in to get a procedure done with said surgeon , under local anesthesia. Now when a patient raises their hand Or tells you to stop because she is feeling pain, not pressure but pain. You stop and administer more local anesthesia and give them about 5-10mins to set in and continue. Well they didn’t with my mom. After she told them she was still felt everything they were doing, they didn’t stop they continued. I stopped there after work to see how everything went. My mom came out with tears! Told me what happened and that during her procedure the Oral surgeon started yelling and arguing with the staff infront of my mother , that one of the assistants had to take my mother away from that area because of that. She might not understand English that well, but arguing infront of patients is Not professional at all, no matter the setting!

Front office girls are sweet and efficient however scheduling needs to improve, if I’m being told to come on a certain day and I get there and you tell me there was a scheduling mistake? Big issue. Has happened multiple times have even called and had someone give me two false dates. This is a Major problem as patients time is important and need to be sure when you’re scheduling someone for an appointment asking them to take time out of their schedule for a mistake that could be corrected if everyone was in same page

I have been coming to this dental office since 2021, and have had a couple of different dentists. I also tried a couple of other local dentists in different locations, I can say that this dental office is the best so far as for quality of staff and pricing. I currently have Dr. Shah-Michael team working on my bridge. I really like Dr. Shah for her being very competent and caring. One of the best dentists I've had (I probably had more than 20 dentists worked on my teeth since I've got really bad ones), and Michael (assistant) is a very considerate person. When it comes to billing and insurance, Janet has always been my most favorite. She is super competent - she knows how to work with insurance companies, etc. it seems. I gave five starts about a year ago, and I am renewing it with five stars again.

First, this is the coldest office I have ever been in. Make sure to bring a thick coat because I’m pretty sure they keep the temperature at 55 degrees. The air conditioning was on when it was already 60 degrees outside. I absolutely FROZE. For my consultation/cleaning, it took 50 minutes to be called back for X-rays and then I waited another 45 minutes to see the Dr. then waited another 20 minutes for cleaning and night guard fitting. For my night guard follow up appointment 2 weeks later, I had to wait 1 hour in the waiting room until I was finally called back. They just handed me the mouth guard and said I could go. I said "Don't you want me to try it on..?" and she said "If you want." ...I thought this appointment was to make sure the mouth guard fits and works properly and to give me instruction on how to take care of it especially since it costs $450!!!! I didn't get any of that. They didn't even give me a pamphlet on taking care of it or how to clean it. Nothing. I asked why I had to wait 1 hour for them to just hand it to me and she said "Oh the doctor was still making it". WOW. Why is the doctor making it AFTER I get to my FOLLOW UP appointment? My first appointment where they fit me for it was 2 WEEKS ago why did they not use those 2 weeks to fabricate it? Why did they start making it 15 minutes after I arrive?!! That is absolutely absurd. It is so sad that these people are so disorganized and unprofessional. They don't care about you or your time AT ALL. They book more people than can see in a timely manner which is very unprofessional and inconsiderate. Maybe if someone is buying something from you for $450 you should give them proper attention and instruction on how to use it..??? I can't believe I even have to say any of this. Pathetic.

I called to make an appointment for same day was able to get one at 3pm. The wait in lobby though after my arrival was one hour, before I was let to the back for the X-rays. And then sat for an extra 30 minutes until we were called into a seat with the dentist. Was out 2 hours after my appointment and it was a lovely experience besides the wait time. My daughter’s dental assistant and dentist was super nice ! I wish I can remember her name because she made me feel like she knew my daughter and treated her with compassion . I def made sure to make my appointment with her being there specifically next time for my daughters cleaning?

As someone who is not the biggest fan of the dentist, I can definitely say that coming to West Coast Dental has changed my perspective. They are very welcoming here and when it comes to taking care of your teeth, they are very gentle and they will adhere to your specific needs and requests (within reason). I love coming here everyone is so sweet and take you seriously. Fr Gonzales is awesome he made everything really easy for me. I got my tooth pulled and I didn’t even feel a single thing. I went numb then as soon and I went numb he was down in 1 minute. Only complaint I have right now is the other doctor to is here I can’t remember his name hit he wanted to pull a tooth out when I didn’t need it to be pulled out. I have waited to review this office. Unfortunately I have at least one other visit to complete here and I'll explain. My biggest complaint is the waste of my time and they do not seem to care. This being my 3rd visit to the Hemet office, I am in the lobby waiting to be seen it is 12:47pm, my appointment was scheduled for 11am. Every single visit I've had, including my first visit, were appointments and I've had to wait over an hour each time to be seen. Dr Shah, and most of the staff has been good, they do their work. But I do have a complaint on the hygienist that helped me last time. First she did not warn me about giving me anesthesia under my tongue, an incredibly painful shot that she held for near a minute, yes I counted. I complained to her that she hurt me, and told her I've had a lot of dental work done and never have I been given anesthesia under my tongue, the slap on the face were 2 fold. 1 the anesthesia did not numb me enough, and the second slap was the hygienist smiling and seeming to love the fact that she hurt me. It was very weird. After she cleaned my teeth I had cavities that Dr Shah took care of, and she had to give me more anesthesia, and when she did it, I went numb vs what happened previously with the hygienist. After I complete this round of treatment I can't say I would come back. The reason I have to come back is, Today I was supposed to finish with the hygienist, and turns out she did not come in today, so i have to take another day out of my very busy life to have them waste a few hours of my time before seeing me. It is truly frustrating to be made to wait hours after your scheduled appointment.

My daughter had a dental emergency, and we called everyone from Hemet to Menifee. She was in extreme pain and most dentists could get to her in 3-4 weeks. WCD was able to get her into the office and taken care of in less than 24 hours. Not only did they take care of the problem, but Dr Gonzalez also noticed that she had been misdiagnosed. She only needed a cavity filled instead of the root canal that the others said she had. My daughter is on the spectrum and Katie and Dr G were so kind, gentle, and communicative with her that she felt no pain and her anxiety about dentists went down significantly. She now states that she will only see Katie and Dr G. Great job you two! We loved working with you, and we will be back. We have now transferred the entire family to this location. The office staff were professional, empathetic, and knowledgeable. The office was extremely clean. Everyone seemed to work well together. Top notch dental practice.

I went there 6 months ago and had fillings and final extraction. I came back today and the dr told me I needed crowns now because the fillings were too big and old. They said the same thing to 3 other people I spoke to. This was their doing, just so they can get an extra buck. Staff was nice though. Sep 2024: I came in to bring my son just for a cleaning… a cleaning, which takes 5-10 minutes to complete… waited over 30 minutes to get called.. while everyone chit chatted… ridiculous!

Rooms were dirty need to be swept, sanitized it speaks to the integrity of the dental services that you're providing if i cant trust your establishment to be clean why would i trust you in my mouth? The orthodontist was amazingly nice.. but Front office experience was very slow 4 people were up there but yet only one girl was handling a majority of patient admissions and patient questions while two others played and giggled on their phones. i observed the x-ray techs/ dental techs in the back were hustling to do their job but the disconnect from front end and back end was very telling no communication which leads to me the patient being caught up in your mess. Also was waiting over an hour for finnacial consultation for ortho after i had already been physically seen by the orthodontist. Just needing to be checked out this process was over 45+ minutes of waiting due to the woman not being timely professional and seemed to be flirting with the patient. things to improve. 1. communication within team 2. not stacking appointments if you know you cant handle it 3. being more mindful of peoples time 4. knowing what you and your team are capable of 5. training the entire team so your day to day process isnt what it was today. seeing as we the public have to deal and be subjected to these dental services there needs to be a level of cleanliness, professionalism and time management that was not displayed AT ALL today. thank you.

It was the best dental visit I've ever had. From the beginning to the end the associates helped me and made me felling important and comfortable. The Doctor, Doc Shah was wonderful!! She and the assistant talked me through the whole procedure. When to raise my LEFT hand ( ya don't want to I make the doc oops). They helped w things I went in foe and also did a deep cleaning while I was there to. Got the huge infection out while in there. But still needed more antibiotics.also got me hooked up w Care Credit to sponsor my visit, because I had no funds at the time ( do to being hacked on 2 credit cards). Ugh. I don't know what happened West Coast Dental went from a 10 to a 0 with me I had a back tooth pull ed that had to be cut out next day I go to the pharmacy and the doctor hadn't called my medicine in from the surgery and I live 2 hours round trip going waiting and coming back empty-handed yesterday I go and it was a different Dennis and here to go up under my gum to cut out a cavity he normally six times and my tongue never got known and he punching holes in my tooth to eventually I couldn't take it and he told me that he wasn't an expert on numbing like some of most of the other dentists are I didn't know what to say because he was in my mouth after the after that surgery I asked him do you need to call me in any pain medicine that the medicine was still in my system from getting the tooth cut out two or three weeks ago I am in all kind of pain how could he not think that if he's drill holes in your tooth that's in your mouth you're not going to be in pain after the surgery I got to give him a zero and the manager there he seems like he walks on water because people are asking about ways to get help to get their mouth worked on so to be like he's God Almighty powerful and patience of beneath him he have a very bad disposition and attitude the manager does I call today to make appointment to get cleaning before after the surgery I wasn't brushing and just wanted to get e cleaning I had to call twice and spoke to the the recipient and they couldn't find my records ang put me on hold it was worst and when I call to cancel all she said was okay and bye.

Omg...I definitely don't recommend!! Where shall I begin...I have been to tons of dentist in my years, but NEVER had a experience like this. Evert Cowan (the so-called dentist) Is a complete joke! Someone honestly needs to check his credentials!! I went to the dentist to find out about a 2 of my teeth that have a tiny wiggle. After getting all the x-rays of my teeth, the dentist comes in and reviews the x-rays. He says "look at all those cavities ". Well...any real dentist knows that its plaque (since I'm also due for a cleaning). I begin to tell him why I'm there, he puts his head in his hands, shuts his eyes and says "im listening". He proceeds to tell me that I have no options for my 2 teeth. He tells me that all my teeth are gonna fall out and I'm not able to get implants or a bridge and actually not even dentures!!! What??? Mind you I have completely straight white teeth that are ALL my real teeth. He wanted to pull all my bottom front teeth!! What kind of dentist tells a patient they have no options and they should just get teeth pulled and walk around toothless?? He is very unprofessional and definitely should not be a dentist!!! Don't Go Here!

My daughter was a patient at Western Dental Moreno Valley, CA. What started out as a routine filling for one tooth ended up causing her discomfort and pain. the wait was ridiculously long despite having an appointment, and the dentist I had the misfortune of seeing had the most god awful bedside manner. he also kept trying to attempt to sell me on minor things that were not pertinent to the major issue that I went in for. the lady who took my x-rays, as well as another office lady named Gris, were both very sweet though. I won’t be going back however, because the actual dentist himself was so terrible.

Let me start by saying , i have never had any tooth pain ever , i was always able to chew ice , and eat corn nuts all the time. Well here is my experience with this west coast dental...I went to them in August 2023, they said I had 6 cavities and needed a wisdom tooth removed (last one). So I made an appointment for the cavities. I show up to my appointment, they numb me out , drill out the cavities and leave for lunch , they leave me in the seat waiting till they come back . When they do , the lady that was doing the fillings did everything in a rush . I told her I can feel everything and it hurt so the main dentist came back in and numbed me out . 5 hrs later a tiny piece of my tooth chipped , a piece of filling fell out of another tooth and I couldn't bite because it was all bulky built filling. I called then and they said to come back in the next day so they can fix it , I went back , told them it hurt to bite down on any foods and they shaved the fillings down , it is Jan 2024, I went to another dentist and they said west coast dental didn't do any of my fillings correctly, showed me the xrays of my current teeth and showed me exactly what I needed and explained why I'm having that pain when I bite down. I have been very depressed because I haven't been able to eat correctly since August. If I can sue this company I will. It's ridiculous.

I recently had an unfortunate experience at the dental office. I contacted them due to severe pain after a deep tooth drilling procedure. Despite expressing my distress and the urgency of the situation, I was informed that I would have to wait until Saturday for any assistance. When I questioned the extended period of suffering, they offered to examine the issue the next day but clarified that no treatment would be provided. This left me in a perplexing situation where they could identify the problem but claimed their inability to address it. The overall handling of the situation felt incompetent, resembling an unhelpful bureaucratic process rather than a professional dental service. The inability to provide timely and effective care for a patient in pain was disappointing and frustrating.

Receptionist are nice and accommodating. Everything was fine until it came for what was recommended. I did decline certain work because I've just honestly experienced alot with dentristy in general which led me to seek other options (like Holistic Dentristy. ) I did not like the treatment from the coordinator. When she came and said oh you have cavities, I informed her no, that I was told I needed to remove the grey fillings. I told her I was going to get it done else where. Her bubbly self changed and become cold towards me. I was told to wait in the lobby for my cleaning. I asked if they were going to removed the dental bib and she said no I can have it on. I found that very odd. From experience and talking to dental staff of course they will get their incentives when patients agree to all their recommendations. I would just say ask questions, and go get a second opinion. Staff need to respect and honor patients wishes. As someone who works in the helping field, it is not about you but what the patient wants.

They had messed up an appointment me and my mother had placed for the both of us and when spoken to a lady with a nasty attitude named “Chantel” had been very crass and rude trying to shift blame onto other causes instead of handling the situation with poise and compassion. When the doctor was treating me she dropped a sharp piece on my tongue and I almost missed it! It was horrible. They should put a protector over the tongue to avoid accidents as was my case. They use this oral mesh in other offices, especially when they do endodontics. Her performance as a doctor was poor.

The front office staff are excellent. If I could review them and Robert, they would all get 5 stars. On the other hand, the back office is set up to sell sell sell. They are ALWAYS running behind. My appointment was at 11:00 am, I was taken back at 3:00 pm. Have a cavity? Let's just pull the tooth now, save you the time and trouble later. On and on it goes.... They had the wrong chart, the Oral Surgeon had no idea who I was. Said she had never seen me before. I had an appointment with her on September 9th. What the what?!? Save yourself from the hell on earth experience. Find another office

Current review for now (will update with time): Have been having small issues with my overall dental/smile so I scheduled to have a checkup. On my initial date, I was given X-Rays done, wait time was minimal, I was a little bit irritated that I was only done X-rays and not seen by a doctor due to it being late in the day (I wouldve preferred if they rescheduled me another day so it could be done in one trip [you leave work early for something like this]), I did tell them my major concerns, and they informed me that not only should I have a checkup but also an Ortho appointment. I had my Ortho appointment today, I waited in the lobby nearly an hour (everyone else with Ortho had their appointment before I did, but I will assume it's because they are just getting small modifications, monthly treatment, I am a new paitent). Fair enough, I go to see the orthodontist, his name is Cyrus, My overall issue was discomfort with my retainer and some other questions. He reformed my retainer in minutes and it no longer causes pain, like magic, and gave me some information about looking ahead to the future. Very respectable, and I was satisfied. Now I am just waiting for my next appointment to see the dentist, overall things seem fine.

I had the BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Let me start off by saying I’m picky when it comes to customer service and the actual treatment the Dentist does as I myself do have experience in the Dental Field. It was a Saturday morning and I had an emergency& my regular dentist couldn’t help me but here at West Coast said they could help me, as soon as I walked In the office I was greeted by Celia and Griselda such friendly ladies who made me feel welcomed, I had my X-rays done by Jessica whom carefully took my full mouth X-rays no retakes whatsoever. It was a pleasure meeting Dr Rose she is so friendly and explained to me all her concerns and answered all my questions without rushing me, she truly cares. Thank you Megan for attentively assisting the doctor. If you’re looking for a Dentist this is it!!! I drove over 40 mins to get there and I will do it again!! Definitely my go to office from here on, THANK YOU LADIES I’m extremely happy with the level of customer service and the treatment rendered that day :)

Had a temporary cap fall off my front tooth. West Coast got me right in. They assigned Maryium to assist me. She is absolutely the best ! Not only did she redo the one tooth, but since it was connected to five others, she redid the entire six temps because they were connected and didn't want me to have any more problems. The new Temps look so good you would think they were real teeth. THANK YOU MARYIUM??

Okay, yes I'm frustrated but there is no blame to be had at least the Dr. filling in has offered me a good course of action ... I still miss Dr. Cabrera though lol but Dr. Rozantani is doing well to take care of us at his office!

On Thursday 8/10 showed up for a 5:00 appt only to be told after 45 minutes there wasn’t a dentist to work on her. Including our travel time that was a waste of 1hr 45 mins. Came back on Sat 8/19. Had to wait again and they only did one of 4 cavities. Lunch was more important. Came back 8/25 for a 2:00 appt and they didn’t start on her for an hour and only did two teeth. This lack of respect for our time and not taking scheduled appointments on time is ridiculous! Get your act together!

I loved this office and Dr cabrerra, however him being gone now for extended time seemed to change the environment. I really don't want to leave this review and I did not want to escalate to Ray. If I hadn't, I really wouldn't have understood the situation regarding Dr Cabrera being out I sincerely did not feel the front office cared about patients. Additionally upon arrival not even having the front desk acknowledge I'm there and then to watch her play on her cell phone seemed very unprofessional Again sorry I even have to leave this review about customer service. Scheduled annual checkup and cleaning. After receiving good report from dentist, I didn’t get my teeth cleaned because the hygienist went to lunch! What! I was asked to come back but next week. Who does that? I thought it was unprofessional and inconsiderate. Why would I want to come back for a cleaning? Needless to say I won’t be going back.

Don't keep a person waiting in the waiting room so long and then have them sit in the little room waiting forever for the dentist to arrive, only to be told it will be a two to three week wait for approval. When I was there before for dentures they at least got started while waiting for approval and since I'm still using the same plan that I was approved on before, there was not going to be any problem getting approval again. Because of your failure to at least do a dental impression before getting the approval that I know for a fact would be covered by Medi-Cal, I will never use your services again and will do everything I can, to alert others to not have anything to do with your service!

These guys had me sitting in the lobby for over an hour, unprofessional children working in the lobby don’t know how to communicate when staff is at lunch or anything for that matter. Do not have their things in order. It was very upsetting will not be returning. This is the third time I’ve had a very unprofessional interactions With this company Sadly, this is one of the nicer dental offices in the Hemet area, and what my insurance can provide.

After waiting for 30 minutes after I my appointment I got xrays. Then I was told the dentist would be in to see me in a few minutes. After 30 min asked how much longer and then the dentist came in like I was a bug to him. I told him want my problem was answered what I wanted to have done and get a price on. After 15 minutes to left. Then I waited for 15 minutes again fir someone to come in and talk to me about the pricing asked for. I told her I had an appointment to get to since I had been there for 2 hours already. She gave me the price list and want I asked for was not even on the list but want the dentist thought was more of a Priority and it was over $10,000 just for 3 teeth. This is outrageous.

I went to my appointment with the understanding of work on my teeth that was already reviewed by my dentist, at the appointment I asked the steps of my work n an important part for my teeth was missing to be done, when I ask why, I was told that the $4000, that I paid by Molina Healthcare visa, already charged before my appointment, was not enough, prior this appointment we, the finance person n Dentist, agreed to the work but, at the appointment the important part was removed, my story may not make sense but, I didn't allowed them to removed my 4 front teeth, till I spoke with the dentist, my appointment was at 3 n by 4 I had not talked to the dentist, since he was busy with another patient, I talked to the front n asked to review my case n will not come back till everything I was told on the first appointment was included, don't allow in any time to start a medical work till you're sure is going to be done the way you were told specifically on a mayor dental work like mine.

Hemet office changed oral surgeon to a person that resembles Steve Martin's rendition of the dentist in Little Shop of Horrors. Yes with my anxiety I'm very particular on who goes in my mouth. So now I'm waiting again for another oral surgeon I trust. This could have been prevented by simple communication and STOP overlooking an appointment at 11 and a wait time of hours is irresponsible on your part as a professional business.

Makes you feel very comfortable. I had a root canal and filling with a cap. I walk away feeling no pain during the procedure and no pain after I left. The staff was excellent. The nurse was the best. I want to thank all who were involved with my procedure. I will definitely be back for all my dental needs. I give them a 10 star review out of 10! I did not like their service when I first arrived I was two minutes late after talking to a girl at the front desk she had told me everybody went out for lunch and will be back at 1:00 PM when I came back to the firm I was informed that everybody just went to lunch at 1 PM and will be back at two then when I came back at two there was a list of people in front of me this firm is very unprofessional not organized whoever’s working at the front desk a false information and that interrupted my life I want to refer this dentistry to anyone please be aware that this firm is very unprofessional

My appointment time was originally for 8am, then I got texts saying 9, and then they called me and try to say my appointment was for 11. I was able to get the 9am appointment but not the 8am. They constantly change my appointment day and time with out telling me. I am locked into this orthodontist and I chose this company under the impression Letha came on Tuesday, which was my day off. Now every month I have to change my work schedule to fit with ortho. On top of that they have about 10 chairs all IN ONE ROOM! Patients packed in the back, no screen or barrier between them. TERRIBLE! I will not be back after I get my daughters braces off. This has been an awful experience. Lack of communication and punishment of 200$ if I left.

0 stars don’t waste your time. You will sit there for 50 minutes before they bring you back to wait in the chair for 30-40 more minutes. They do this every single time. The dentist is rude and condescending and doesn’t care about patients just wants to get people in and out (in an untimely manner). His work was sloppy and I went back to get it fixed and it was still sloppy. The dentist condescends to not only staff but also the paying patients. Don’t come here unless you’re desperate

Very shady and dishonest people. They initially told me that they do not put people to sleep for surgery and also that I can make payments on the work I want done. Well when it was actually time for the work to be done, turns out that they won't let me do payments because they don't like that I then decided to have only the important work done then and the rest at another time AND that they WERE to put me to sleep.

I was pressured into deep cleaning a few times but had to decline, since it's not covered by insurance I recently had my Saturday appointment cancelled right before my upcoming vacation. Nice enough people work here but they need to STOP pushing the braces. We have told them over and over we are not interested. Today my Autistic grandson went back by himself and when he came out he told me they kept trying to get him to agree to getting braces by saying things like "all the kids your age have them", even after he told them no. I really feel their main concern is making money. The bracesnare not the onlything they have done to try to get more money. We will not be going back.

This is not a good place for children. Adult dental service was fine. Unfortunately my son developed ptsd from this place. I cannot get him to go to a dentist now. So, your child has to be alone in a room with many people. You don’t know what’s going on and if he’s not being hurt. My son didn’t get a chance to calm down before the staff grabbed him. My son was strapped into a suit an I had to leave. All I heard was his screaming and calling me. I cried and when he was done, he was still crying. Supposedly they were supposed to give him something to calm. My child is traumatized and feels violated. He remembers everything that happened. Never will I recommend this place for kids.

I really feel disrespected by “DR” Cabrera. The level of disrespect is unbelievable. The 1st time I requested him specifically because he had worked on my teeth before. If he didn’t want to do my dental cleaning, he could’ve just denied me, instead of wasting my time and have someone else do it. TIME WASTER. The 2nd time around he had one job and that was to finish my fillings!!!! NO INSTEAD He left me halfway through the project and had someone else do the job you had one job Cabrera!!! Word of advice don’t be around the bush with the fake smile and chuckle. This is dental mafia balogni.

I dont need to be told 4 times that she will allow us to be seen today but I need to bring a hard copy of her social security card next visit. Had an appt today at 12pm. I came in on time and waited to be seen. In total i waited til 1:40pm and still had yet to be seen by the dentist. I went in for wisdom teeth extraction. My appt was at 330 I didn’t get inside until 530. Dental assistants were very unprofessional. Made it aware they were tired and working overtime. I am a patient who is terrified of the dentist and to hear negativity made me feel nervous. With the laughing gas I was stil aware that they were complaining and trying get all four teeth out and wanted to only do one. They ended up doing two. Oral surgeon was good but the care from the assistants wasn’t. I wasn’t explained anything in regards to after care. Then I wasn’t given pain meds or antibiotics. My sister went in to request it and she was shut down immediately. The paper they give you says to call back if your in pain and we called back. The front desk people says we called back a day before and we didn’t. I was in pain for a week. My entire face plus a headache. I never ever want to do this again! Makes people who are scared question if it’s even worth it. AnywaysI went back a week later because I have some numbness. That dentist that checked was in shock that I didn’t get pain meds, antibiotics or mouth rinse. So I felt like I’m owed an explanation as to why I didn’t get that when I really really needed it.

Friendly staff, not very attentive though, in a FREEZING COLD office. 10am appt. 10:05 a guy called my name, took me back for x-rays (10 minutes), then took me to the dentist chair. I complained about how cold it was and he was kind enough to get a blanket. After another 30 minutes sitting there, I said loudly "Can someone please find out how much longer the dentist will be?" Nobody acknowledged me! 5 minutes later, someone came by and asked what I needed. I repeated my question and was told that the dentist was working on someone and should be done soon. 10 minutes later, I walked out and will not return! Follow up... It has been 2 weeks now since my initial review, after which I was asked to contact the owner, which I have done 3 times since then. No reply. No phone call. Again, just like in the office, nobody is paying any attention.

We called ahead of time to see if we can get an extraction done. The male on the other end said absolutely and even exchanged pricing with me. My husband gets to his appointment and they try to charge him an arm and a leg to fix the tooth instead of extracting it. If we wanted the tooth fixed we would have said that to begin with but for a simple $150 extraction to $1,900 fix that was a jump. Ultimately they said chances are his teeth would be crooked, that was our choice if that's what we wanted ? my husband's the only one without health insurance in our family so it's ridiculous what they will do for a buck.. worst $59 ever!!!!!

I was turned away by the intake clerk despite of walking in with an emergency due to having 2 infected teeth, swollen face and extreme pain. She indicated she did not have any walk in appointments and to come back the next day at 12PM. She handed me some paper work for new patient and instructed me to complete them and bring them in the next day. The next day I was treated with much kindness and received excellent care by a young dentist. I related my experience to my account manager and she was very apologetic for having been turned away in an emergency. Hope that in the future front desk clerks are better trained in the triage of emergency walk in patients and are encouraged to provide sensitive and compassionate care, after all, they are the face of West Coast Dental.

After they called my daughter to the back, they had my daughter waiting for over an hour to get worked on. The dentist worked on my daughter's teeth for about 5 minutes then left. He never returned. After another 15 minute wait, another person came to fill in. She didnt even know why the dentist left! Two hours for dentist visit is too long.

They by far have been WONDERFUL, and I've gone to a lot of dentists I had insurance initially, but then with the change of jobs I lost it, but they work with the individual to get what needs/wants to get done, the right way- the first time. Ray is a great Office Manager! Cash payments get 20% discount. That helped me in the end! If I could refer everyone there, they'd love it. I hope to find a dentist like this when I move out to Tennessee and have them for my kids.

I wasn't seen until 1140 for a 10 am appt. Apparently they book three appointments an hour for the oral surgeon. Perhaps the appts should be booked according to the anticipated length of each procedure. When I checked in, i specifically asked about the wait and was told i would be called in a "few" minutes. I waited over an hour and a half. Glad I'm not coming back here. Dr Grimaldi never keeps me waiting! I had to come to West Coast because this procedure required oral surgery. Plan on spending hours here. Well, two weeks later, and I made another appointment because I was removing bone pieces and felt there were still some that needed to be removed. He told me there was nothing else there even though I showed him where I thought it was located. Well, the next day another big piece came out! It's finally healing. Stay away from this oral surgery department. They don't care about you, only how much money they can make and how many people they can treat in a day. Oh, and now all chairs have been removed from the waiting room. They're going backwards! I'm disabled and had to stand until I was seen. They seem organized and professional in the front office but not in the back office. I definitely won't be back.

For the most part once you get to see the doctor the service is good, but I must say after I finish my treatment if the scheduling continues the way it is I will find another dentist. My time is to valuable to spend 4 hours in a dentist office for a cleaning.

It seems to be hit or miss on if things run smoothly and on time or not at all. This is a few issues -The TV in the lobby is always WAY too loud (This isn't major but its worth mentioning) -It always appears they are overbooked on appointments. I don't think this is the fault of the dentist themselves in anyways but rather the people that run the show (The insurance companies). - This isn't something new in the health care industry and its a major problem unfortunately. Dentists often have to run around between various patients and that should NOT be the case. They should be able to give each patient the full care and attention they need. This isn't just beneficial for the patients but also the staff themselves. -I do believe most of the staff tries their best to deal with the situation they have but i do think those running the show need to stop with the overbooking and stretching the dentist's thin.

We went to our first appointment where we were referred to a specialist and after making an appointment they called to inform me that their specialist did not take our insurance, an HMO. They referred me to they're other office in Moreno Valley where that specialist took our insurance. I called Moreno Valley and the Dr. they recommended does not work at that office. They referred me to Rialto and I made an appointment. After driving 1 1/2 hours and waiting an hour at the office they informed me that they do not take my insurance. Don't refer people out to offices unless you can guarantee they take your insurance!

The dentists are professional and care about making your teeth look good. When I made an appointment to get my teeth whitened, I was a tad nervous but Megan made sure I was comfortable and let me know what she was doing step by step. I am happy with the results! My teeth look great and I highly recommend this dentist to anyone who is in search of one. The dentists even did a wonderful job fixing my tooth and made the crown look natural, it was a perfect fit. DO NOT USED THIS PLACE! X-rays and teeth cleaning no problem. But getting your teeth pulled? RUN AWAY! First, the surgeons assistant is nice unless you cannot afford $350 for some extra procedure that's supposed to help prevent dry socket. If you can't, she becomes condescending. The surgeon himself had minimal bed side manners. First 2 teeth being pulled i didn't feel pain but the third tooth i felt it being pulled from the base of my jaw. But surgeons simply said, "there's no way you could feel that". Gave no antibiotics or pain relief. Went home and iced my face but after a few hours the numbing wore off and intense pain started. Called office for pain relief and surgeon said to "ice it". Still wasn't work, I could feel my heart beat in all areas my teeth were pulled and was swollen, called back telling surgeon it wasn't working. He said he wasn't going to give any pain relief. Went to ER. Every ER nurse and doctor were horrified and asked where I got them pulled at, as soon as I said "West Coast Dental" they all said basically the same thing, "oh ya. They stuck, we always have patients from there". Got a shot of morphine and 3 days of pain relief from the ER. So, DO NOT go to West Coast Dental for tooth pulling unless your willing to have zero pain relief, have a condescending dental assistant, and dental surgeon that doesn't care about you or your pain.

Absolutely the BEST dental experience I've ever had! I have finally found "my" dentist in Dr. Cabrera and his RDA Danielle...they both went out of their way to take care of me. My last dentist visit was over 10 years ago so I just knew I needed to at least get x-rays and an exam. I also had a filling from 10 years ago that had started to chip away but I wasn’t in pain. So I went online and made an appointment through their website for that evening at 6. 6 PM?? YES! And not only did I get a complete exam but they actually stayed late and started my crown!! Unbelievable! They have a great office atmosphere, very friendly staff and they put MY needs first. The front desk staff are highly experienced in the insurance process and are so friendly and helpful explaining everything. I really cannot say enough positive things about West Coast Dental. If you are looking for first rate service and a highly experienced team, then this is the place to go!! THANK YOU Dr. CABRERA AND DANIELLE!!!

Not good this braces Industry needs to be regulated west coast dental takes advantage of broken brackets and other hidden fees. I was supposed to get reimbursed since February still no check the Manager Ray has been neglecting me all this time when it was finally looked into my insurance will not cover the maintenance of the braces. I don’t appreciate the fact that each time I have an appointment I arrive 15-20 minutes early with an expected wait time of at least 15 minutes, however, once I’m called to the back I end up waiting almost 2 hours before being seem by an actual dentist, I don’t have time to waste like that. They shouldn’t schedule people so close together and/or they should have more than one dentist available. I walked out and rescheduled because I had other appointments that couldn’t be rescheduled.

I had cracked a tooth in late April during the lockdown for the Corona Pandemic. I was afraid to go to the Dentist because of the fear of Covid-19, but the Staff made me feel very comfortable. Five visits later with a few dental procedures, and I’m happy to say I have no Covid-19, and have been treated well by the staff. Everything is kept very clean and the staff makes sure to wipe everything down before and after you leave. Dr. Cohan did an excellent job, and Dr. Cabrera has great bed side manners and very skilled at what he does. I’m glad this facility is taking their precautions serious with providing hand sanitizer, social distancing, and the requiring masks. They have great staff and are super clean and friendly. However, their main downfall is the wait time. I wait 2 hours to be called in and another 2 hours to be completely done. I did arrive 5 minutes late to my appointment but I don’t see why my visit had to be a total of 4 hours.

Dr. Cabrera did a great job! I was nervous and feeling scared to know that my wisdom tooth will be removed. But he pacify me and told me that everything will be ok. The moment he checked my tooth, I was amazed that he handled it with a lot of care and I don’t feel any roughness or too much pain...? And it was done just like what he said, so fast!!!?? Appointment was for 10am for cleaning. Did not complete appt until after 1pm. Cleaning was done by Dr. , but only cleaned front bottom teeth. Polished by two people. This office seems more interested in getting more people in office and not caring about how long they spend in office. Time spent on appointment is unbelievable for a cleaning.

I would've loved to give 5 stars, but The dentist could've been just a little more patient and gentle. You should know that the topical numbing should sit at least 2-3 minutes before injecting. Literally a 5 second wait. That ruined my entire experience feeling that pain due to lack of patience

I had my first visit yesterday and it was amazing. When I walked in, I was nicely greeted by Caroline the receptionist. Then Alex the young man who took my X-rays was the sweetest and was very gentle. After that I seen Dr.Cabrera and he let me know all the treatment I was going to need. Connie was very friendly when she went over the treatment the doctor recommended and also answered any questions I had and explained what was covered/not covered by my insurance. Dr.Cabrera was able to do my work all in the same day which was great since it was my day off. I have never been more comfortable with a dentist like I have with Dr. Cabrera. He was very nice, gentle and concerned with what treatment I needed to start with. I had a root canal done with two crowns and I didn’t have any pain what so ever today. After my treatment was done by him, Danielle was there making my temporary crowns. She was very nice and it didn’t take her very long to make two of them for me. I had a pleasant experience with them today. I was super nervous going in and not knowing what to expect. They did an exam and let me know what needed to be done. I am very picky when it comes to my medical and dental care. I have Medi-Cal and sadly have felt discriminated against in the past for being a low income patient. At West Coast Dental I got a nice, warm welcome from the receptionist whom made my appt. Also got an appointment the following day for N.P. X-rays and digital photos. Charlie was the RDA who took my digital X-rays and assisted Dr. during exam and was fabulous and very good at putting me at ease. I was excited to find that they could start treatment on me immediately if I was up to it! Dr. Cabrera was gentle and had a great calming demeanor and excellent bedside manner. I had a tooth pulled and felt no pain just a little pressure. I will be returning for the rest of my treatment and actually look forward to going??????

UPDATE: They scheduled my 3yo for sedation, we had the appt for a month, prepaid thousands of dollars, double and triple confirmed appt. day of appt we go in and the pediatric dentist isn’t there and the one who is can’t do sedation and they push our appt further out. My kid had to go all morning without anything to eat or drink. The staff is pretty friendly, overall they are okay, wait times are usually long, pediatric dentist is only available once a month and they double book appointments.

I fell and broke a tooth on a Saturday morning. I was working a large event in Hemet. Western Dental was no my dentist. I live out of the area. I called when they opened and they told me to come in. I explained to them that I was pressed for time. Had about an hour before we began serving food. The entire experience was wonderful. From the front desk, to the exam rooms...X-ray and the dentist herself. All pleasant and happy. So accommodating. They got me out within an hour. Bonded my tooth perfectly! I will use them again. I will drive the hour to use them as my primary dental office now. Very cool team and vibe. They all love what they do apparently. Every time I go I end up waiting over 3 hours . It’s ridiculous especially since I have an appointment. Today the had me waiting over 3 hours and then I complained and they sent my child in and had us sit in back room , which they had us waiting over 40 minutes more then suddenly they turned off the lights on us and it was pitch black . I came out disappointed, telling them do they know we are even here and they apologized. This is the third time I have had bad service. Will not return .

Terrible experience. One filling overpacked and another came out. Made an appointment, sat for 40 min. in waiting room, I was then told Dentist could not see me. My advice, look elsewhere for better dental care and concern.

It was great they have been working in holidays. It looks they friendly and trained to say "sorry". Office is cozy, parking is available. But today it was my third attempt to get dental examination, I hope tomorrow I get my examination. A receptionist girl made me frustrated this evening: 1. Waiting 30 mins and after that I knew, that 2. No chances to update the plan, 3. No authorization from insurance with appointment, 4. Rescheduling my visit. The clinic is a good for walk-in service and paying for cash. Plan and insurance issues extend the visit up to infinity. The proactive management is questionable.

My mother just recently had a visit with this office. She was extremely unhappy. She was willing to pay any amount of money to fix her teeth with the screw in partial method. Instead they fitted her with partials that were cricked, off white, and shorter than her other teeth. They proceeded to tell her that they were cricked to fall in line with her other teeth. They schedule her and have her drive 25 miles each time to do small fittings when they initially communicated that the procedure would be done all in one. Poor quality!

I went in for severe tooth pain on my right side with the possibility of infection. Once I was being examined by the dentist he proceeded to PULL my lip outward for his exam so far and hard my gum on my right side separated from my tooth and fluid with a HORRIBLE taste began flowing into my throat (probably puss from infection) I asked him to be more gentle and he proceeded to do the same pulling and exam! I asked once again and let him know if he didn’t stop pulling so hard I wasn’t going to stay. He did it again and I left! I wouldn’t recommend this dentist to anyone!!

The service is good but the wait times suck. If you come here be ready to spend at least 1 hour or more even with appointment!!! I’ve seen so many bad reviews about the wait times in this location, and they always reply back that they will give a solution to this problem. So far July 2025 and the Issue still persist.
