I have never experienced so much upselling at a dentist appointment in my life. Never have i had to come back for the second half of a cleaning. Never have i had to get numbed with shots for a cleaning, im sure that’s a tactic to bill insurance for doing more.I just felt like they did everything they could to charge me and my insurance. Something shady going on at this place forsure. I will not be returning after the “2nd half” of my cleaning next week…believe the people that say something sketchy is going on with billing, my first time here I witnessed an irate man that was over charged and now I see why.

The worst service in corona. If I could rate it a zero I would. Waited an hour and a half in the waiting room because the dental assistant didn't want to take my file next, i only say this because i over heard her say this to the receptionist, since I'm a new patient? Idk, I finally went up to the front desk and ask if I should just leave, mind you I'm in so much pain, as I say this the lady in her office sees me and said oh you've been here for a while. So they seen me and didn't bother to think oh hey she's been out here for almost 2hrs... then I get pushed through while the assistant helping me was so nice taking my x-rays meanwhile the other assistant that past my file up was giving me the stink eye! The most uncomfortable feeling in a dental office! This is my first impression of this dental office! All of that wasted time just for them to have me reschedule! As if i would want to do so with them. I've never encountered such unprofessionalism. Now I'm still in pain in hopes they'll send my antibiotics to CVS... I was having high hopes for this place to be my family's dentist but what a joke.

This is an updated review after a 5 star review during the first visit: I had a terrible experience with West Coast Dental overall. 1. They always double book appointments and wait time is from 30 minutes to 60 minutes. 2. They have a children specialist but once a month. Actually, they called me to book an appointment with a specialist. Yesterday, when I went to the office they said that my insurance plan doesn’t cover it otherwise they need to charge extra. 3. They will find “stuff” to charge you even though you are OK. Overall, so unprofessional. They are after your money not your dental hygiene. Stay away from them ?

If I could give zero star I would! Absolutely unacceptable experience. I had an appointment for my two kids with a specialist at this dental office. We arrived 10 minutes early, checked in, and ended up waiting for almost an hour—over 50 minutes—with no communication or updates from the staff. Finally, after all that time, someone calls me just to say that our insurance doesn’t cover the specialist we were supposed to see. Not only was this information something they already had, since they had our insurance details well before the appointment, but it should’ve been confirmed and communicated to us long before we wasted nearly an hour of our time in the waiting room. To make matters worse, the front desk staff, especially one particular woman, was rude and dismissive throughout the entire interaction. Instead of offering any real help or apology, they just handed some paper to another lady who is in office and she tried make excuses on be half of their irresponsible action and hand us a paper with another referral and said the one specialist our insurance does cover wasn’t even in that day. It honestly felt like they didn’t care at all. As a visibly Muslim woman wearing a headscarf, I also couldn’t help but feel that we were treated with a lack of basic courtesy and respect. Whether intentional or not, the tone and attitude we received made me feel unwelcome, ignored, and disrespected. This whole experience was deeply frustrating, unprofessional, and frankly, hurtful. We will never return to this office and I would not recommend it to anyone—especially families or those who expect to be treated with basic respect and decency.

The worst place and service I went to this clinic because they referred me to the periodontist, I arrived and everything and they told me that I needed fillings and cleaning because if I didn't do that the periodontist couldn't see me. And well I said it's part of the process and I let them do the fillings and the next day I called again because I couldn't even eat because of the pain. They treated me but they didn't do anything because the pain continued. Then I went again to have it checked properly because I couldn't even eat and they told me that everything is fine. They don't look at anything but I told them that yes because the pain is so much I can't even eat... and they tell me that they are going to make an appointment with the endodontist to see if it is the right one. nerve. But they left the appointment for almost 20 days and I told them that I couldn't wait that long because the pain is very bad and they told me that they couldn't do anything. And I told him that how... I need a solution and the manager told me that I went because of pain and at no time did I have pain, the pain was after they did the work... they even told me that I needed a treatment because my teeth were about to fall out, the manager told me so much that that place scared me a lot, what she wants is to get the money alone... it's really the worst place, I don't recommend it...

Last night while I was flossing my cavity filling popped off leaving me with a hole in my tooth. I panicked and tried to find any dental offices open on Saturdays to get it fixed asap. I came to West Coast Dental of Norco right when they opened and spoke to Carlos, who was very helpful and added me to the schedule so I could be seen right away. Blanca was very sweet and performed X rays on me and made sure I was comfortable. Stephanie was so nice, supportive and took her time answering any questions I had. Dr Kolahi Aval was great, he was kind and took the time to explain everything to me and answer any questions or concerns I had about my dental health and the services I needed. He was very gentle and you can definitely tell he cares about his patients and how he performs his work. My first time here was amazing and I will definitely be coming back for more dental services. Worst dental office ever. Every time I have to wait, I'm not sure why they make appointments. The last one was a 3 o'clock appointment seen finally after 5 not happy I had to take time off of work for nothing. Then the up sales always something extra they want to do and of course the insurance doesn't cover it. The last visit, they suggested a bit of work. I told them to give me a couple of days to figure it all out. So, now, I've called back multiple times, trying to talk to them and get an appointment setup and no return phone call back from Sandra or Jasmine. Should be a negative 5 stars.

Run away from this place, worst orthopedic experience ever, I went on October 2024 for “liners” We are in March I was never able to acomódate an appointment, filed a BBB complaint and from 3,000. Update: this place is run by thieves. I financed some dental work because I was told there were many issues and needed to get certain procedures done. I never got a call that everything was ready to go yet they got the money. I called, emailed and called some more. (I lost count). Never got a call back. Now the funding company wants me to pay on a loan I never used. I told them to go after the clinic since they got paid and never did the work. They stole from Ally by using me. No reply from the clinic ever. Don’t go there. Just don’t. From the moment I walked in until I left I was treated like a person, not $$'s. I didn't like all the news I received but I am glad we can now handle all these issues. Docs were amazing. Thank you all. Roxanna

Do not go here if you value your time. Run very unprofessionally. Your appointment times do not matter, they will be late, over an hour in a lot of cases. Will forget basic patient info and what you’re even there to do. I’ve had the dentist who scheduled my follow up for 2 days after the first date forget everything and leave me waiting in the lobby. Genuinely any other dentist office is better.

I went for my first appointment and they let me wait for an hour. They are slow, I have texted them and emailed them to cancel my appointment and they told me to pay 75 for cancellation? Always be very attentive regarding your diagnosis and ask for an alternative treatment to compare the numbers and please get a second opinion somewhere else, you’ll be surprised on the outcome. Most dental professionals is all about the money (daily/monthly production) and not the quality of care provided. This review is strictly for two employees at this location. Jazmin and Frankie went above and beyond to make up for the lack of accessibility that this company has for people who are disabled. My mother is paralyzed on the right side of her body and can not safely stand on her own. This was my mother's second set of panoramic x-rays because the results from the first set were not sufficient. Though I had not been at her first visit, it was apparent why she had to go back in. The x-ray machine would not even lower to her height in her wheelchair. Had it not been for Jazmin helping me stabilize my mother in place and Frankie's diligence, this would not have happened. It is apparent that Western Dental aught to consider their patients who don't have full mobility, and their employees who directly work with this community.

Welcome New Patients--it's ridiculous! I went to the appointment, and as a new patient, I was there on time. The receptionist was really rude, and I was waiting over half an hour. I had gone here years ago to have work done, and I had a terrible experience with this location during that time and went else where. Because I didn’t have steady work, I had lost insurance and couldn’t finish the work I needed. Things have been turning around and I’ve recently been able to get back in to finish what was started at this location. Come to find out from my new dentist that this location had done multiple procedures that were NOT needed, causing a lot of stress and debt in the long run. Completely unethical and immoral. I’d give no stars if I could. Stay far away from this place, they’re only looking to make their pockets fatter.

Three times I went in to get a cleaning and I still didn’t get it done; 2 of those times they told me the dentist had a family emergency and they had me reschedule. The last time they canceled they did not even notify me. I had left work early(once again) to get to my appointment, and only when I showed up did they let me know. There is a huge lack of communication amongst the staff and I canceled my last appointment and decided I won’t be going back. To be honest I’m not even sure if I trust their practices. I’ve read the previous reviews which share similar experiences, so that finalized my decision.

Worst dentist ever! Cancelation at last minute (3 times). They told you about price, but they don't give you the quote. Le girls comes and walks with a paper in her hands that you don't see. I also did an appointment for brace price quotation. They wanted to place the brace the day of meeting, they ask at least 3 times why I don't want to place the brace today (=====>>>> because I don't know you price). So bad organisation and not trustable

The problem at this location is the Admin staff. The dentist was amazing and made me feel so calm and relaxed after coming in with a lot of pain. He set a clear course of treatment and he Explained calmly and clearly and put my mind at ease about my symptoms. The dental assistant was quick and efficient and did not skip a beat through imaging without making me feel rushed. Excellent dental care staff. The admin staff are rude and make you feel like an unwanted step child. They go past the scope of their duties and to be frank I do not think they care about what they are doing. There is definitely a concern that they are conducting shady billing practices. I wasn’t going to leave a review after my visit two weeks ago but after my experience today I’m not going back there. You should just go to another office that doesn’t make you feel unwanted or has shady billing practices. The dark haired front desk woman with the thick rimmed glasses, who looks miserable, is just plain rude. Wasted 45 mins of my morning appointment waiting all because she couldn’t be bothered to give me, a new patient, instructions. I had to get up and ask when I would be seen for her to tell me to fill out some link. Mind you the link could’ve been sent in the week before I had the appointment. So wasted another 15 mins filling it out before finally skipping over the last three pages of whether “I liked my smile”. Waste of time. She spoke in the most demeaning high pitched voice which ultimately made me feel like I was stupid for asking simple questions. The older woman in their billing department with the thick rimed glasses and brown hair was also overbearing and didn’t act with her scope of work from my perspective. Instead of coming in to take payment, and getting my treatment started she spent 20 mins going line by line through the dentists notes for treatment, reanalyzing my care plan that he set out and trying to break down why I was being charged for each thing using her own grotesque vernacular: “rotting teeth” “bacteria building up under your gums” literally the dentist said I have bone loss and needed my crown needed to be redone. She Made me feel scared, uncomfortable and wasted my time ultimately because I asked the dentist again about all she said and he had to reexplain himself because none of what she said was what he said. Stay in your lane billing. Just come in, explain charges, take payment and go. You aren’t needed for a second opinion. I should’ve known they had something wrong with them when she said they only cleaned half a mouth at a time and got mad at the dentist that he cleaned my whole mouth. I kept thinking who does that? What kind of hack dentistry cleans half a mouth. Then she said oh she would “bill one half today and one half tomorrow”. I kept wondering why. I get two cleanings a year and have a reoccurring pain from this crown that I go to my old dentist for pretty frequently and have never heard of this. My old dentist was the west coast dental in Moreno Valley I figured might as well find someone closer. So came here. I’ve never had to do half a mouth of cleaning ever. EVER. I’ve had two types of dental insurance with previous employers and am now paying for an additional layer of coverage. Today I get a link from them, they are asking me for an extra thousand dollars. I already paid my co-pay which was triple it has ever been with my previous dentist. It took six calls to get through to some one who then puts me on hold to speak to this same woman in billing and all she could say is my insurance “didn’t pay” and hung up on me when I asked for them to send me a list of charges. I called my insurance after. They have already paid my claim “as billed”. So either this woman didn’t bill properly or something is wrong. Very suspicious and I will not be going back. Wonderful as the dentist and the dental assistant were, The admin staff has rubbed me in the worse way possible and I would never go bck or recommend. I’ll just have to make the 45 min back to my old dentist.

We have not had a great experience at this location. The front desk person, I don’t recall her name, has very poor customer service skills. She does pronounce your name correctly even after you’ve told her the correct pronunciation. My wife is still receiving ortho treatment and they lost her trays which means they have to take a new imprint and wait for new trays from the lab. This has occurred twice. It’s obvious to me they do not care about their customers time. We have spent 3 hours (in person and on the phone) with office and corporate billing people showing them we’ve paid our portion of treatment costs and even with the manager yet we keep receiving bills. Our insurance has also paid its portion. The manager emailed corporate with the proof we submitted and she also said our balance is zero. The dental work is good but there is no value to the customer when so much time is lost due to their lack of service.

So all of the 1 star reviews are accurate, the wait time is always long, not all but several staff members are rude, this is not why I decided to write this review, the reason is they did work on my son without asking me first then the manager says I need to sign for authorization for the work done after it was done, I will be letting my insurance know about the unauthorized charges Its funny all the replies to these 1 star reviews basically say the same things, " thanks for letting us know, sorry for the experience" But obviously nothing has been done, Very sad!

Came a week ago WITH appointment I missed work and nope they told me they were "over booked" and they had to reschedule. I'm back again. Appointment was at 4pm it's 5:07 and I'm STILL here waiting to be called in. Keep in mind THEY charge YOU $75 if you don't show up. The moment I walked into this dental office I knew we would be taken care of. I went to a different one last week and didn’t feel the care and passion that this team at West coast Dental had. The registration of a new patient was simple and easy. Both my kids were seen and didn’t have to wait long. The assistants that took care of my kids were gentle and sweet and kind. When it was time to speak about the treatment with Sandra the office manager. Her kindness and care was exceptional. She went over treatment with detail and was so patient and answered every question. I never felt rushed and she made sure she scheduled me and my kids for all there treatments and instead of waiting for weeks of appointments she made sure we were taken care of. I came in at 9:00am for an appointment and the receptionist Veronica was actually nice, helpful, and came in early and allowed me and a few others to wait inside which was nice. It was busy when i went on Monday, but my time there was minimal and i was able to get all my work done. I had Dr. Sharma, and Dr. Park for my root canal and they were both very helpful, and did a really good job with my root canal and any questions i had. They were also Very professional.The manager Sandra seemed like she had the team under control and very lively as well which was a plus for me. Jazmine the treatment coordinator was very helpful with explaining and setting up my payments. She literally answered the millions of questions i had. If you need work done and you’re nervous or don’t know which office, u should consider the corona location. Been with them for 2+ years and Ive had little to none problems.

I had the worst experience ! New patient! my appointment was scheduled for 9am arrived at 9:04am did my paperwork online as requested. 9:50am came and I still had not been seen or called back. I experienced a lot of up selling form them. Dentist was good but the office charged me more than $1,000 was a routine checkup and cleaning. My dental insurance refused to pay. Not going back to them.

I waited quite some time for my appointment. And even longer for my actual orthodontist work. I completely understand the understaffing but what bothered Me is they didn’t have the proper equipment for the job. They ended up using a small piece of the bonding material and made it into a makeshift hook to hold my rubber bands because they didn’t have the actual piece of metal that should be there. Now it hurts to eat and talk and I have to deal with it for a whole month. I’m a pretty understanding person but some things are just unbearable.

Make sure your appointment schedulers are well trained and competent. None of the information taken by the scheduler was correct in the system. When I showed up for my appointment I was told that I didn't have an appointment. The receptionist that checked me in seemed to be irritated. I couldn't tell if she was irritated at me or the scheduler who entered all the wrong information. I didn't feel welcomed at the office. If the Dentist is running behind schedule, please keep the patients informed.

Caution.. beware as this place should be investigated. Not sure how this dental office is in business. I do not believe the denist is board certified. The dental work performed is zero stars and customer service is negative non existent. . I had a 9:00am appointment and was sitting around the office until 1pm while the staff went to lunch. There was no mouthwash available. They did impressions on my mouth with no bib on. I had a piece that I was told to hold in my mouth for impressions for almost an hour when I realized the office was empty. I was still sitting there with the piece in my mouth and was not notified that the staff went to lunch. The dentist did not introduce herself. Called before hand about my elderly parents insurance. They have Medicare. Told yes they accept. Filled out paperwork online. Got to appointment 15 minutes early. Called up to receptionist for her to tell us he doesn’t show he has insurance. We said we will pay cash. Asked to fill out a form “to pay cash”! Waiting and waiting and finally just called it a day. Seems unorganized and I could sense we would not have a good experience. They need a better call center that will give accurate information. Waste of time.

Update: One of the crowns this dentist did has already cracked, not even been four months. Now it has to be redone, and will contact the insurance to see if they will cover to have it fixed. This place is a horrible. DO NOT GO HERE. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. THIS PLACE WILL MESS YOU UP. Beware: Major Scam Alert They cancelled my appointment again, no valid excuse. Been waiting for them to finish with one crown for over three months. That is unacceptable. And Rosie the so-called office manager/ insurance coordinator is a joke, she lies about everything. Don't agree to get any work done until you verify it with your insurance. They will try to charge you $950, for work that should only be at most $325. Basically what they do is pick icd codes that are not billable or not covered by your insurance. And then proceed to tell you it's not covered. When all they have to do is bill the right codes, that they have agreed to accept when they accepted to work with that particular insurance; and accept that as payment in full. I know that every plan and insurance works different. That's why you have to check and double check, what it is you are covered for. You just can't trust them at their word. But definitely do not trust any words that come out of their mouths. I've been lied to, every time I talk to them. Rosie also promised to work on other authorizations for other work I need, and she has not even contacted my insurance. It's been over three months...and I asked and she just says the insurance has not responded to the request...but it is not true I've spoken to my insurance several times to verify if they have received any additional requests for treatment and they have not. Rosie is a LIAR. And of course is you call to speak to her she is always unavailable, but she will call you back. Also a lie.

We waited 55 minutes for an appointment that lasted less than 5. This appt was for my 18 month old toddler and no wait should ever be so long, especially for a small child. We will be switching offices immediately.

Run, do not walk away from this place. I have NEVER had such a horrible experience. These people flat out lie when quoting you a price for their services. In my case, they performed a root canal and told me I had to come back for the crown. I specifically asked on 3 separate occasions whether the price I paid included the crown and on 3 separate occasions, I was told YES. I went back a week later to have the crown done and was told it was going to cost me an additional $950.00. This is not the first time this has happened but it is the last. Complete ignorance!

I've been pleasantly surprised for the past three visits for routine cleaning. Waiting time was reasonable and the dentist did a great job. Nobody tried to upsell which is a relief. After my first cleaning. I was told I needed a root canal and caps to cover a couple teeth. I was told my copay for the root canal would be $600 per root canal and $300 per cap. I decided to verify the cost with my dental insurance and was told my copay for each root canal should be between $70 and $160 and the copay for each cap should be less than 160. This place is a money trap and will submit unnecessary reimbursement codes that will drive up ur out of pocket cost. Always check with ur dental plan prior to paying. ?

This dentistry offered nothing but kind and sincere hospitality with every visit… The Doctor/staff were very welcoming on every encounter and really gave a family based medical facility vibe that is lacking nowadays. I am 25 years old and naturally was concerned if I would get taken advantage of due to the nature of my experience. They were straight forward, explained why I needed work done, gave me options, and found an affordable way to work within the terms of my insurance. I would recommend this dentistry 10/10 to any of my family and friends in the Corona area!

So overall a reliable place for the first basic know how of how your teeth are , it's very good. The procedure experience will come later.

My first time ever at West Coast Dental. Overall the experience was good. I liked that when the doctor came to talk to me he was quick and straight to the point with my exam and recommendations on treatment. He made sure i was numb enough and comfortable enough throughout procedure. I wasnt to happy to wait almost an hour an half to even get to xray chair. But the stafff was friendly and informative if you asked the right question. The actual work done was a lot faster than I expected.

Every time i go the entire staff is very nice and helpful! The first visit a year ago was my first time going to the dentist in 10 years or so and i was nervous to say the least. They took the best care of me and explained me through the process. All this and still a uch good prices, or no payment at all. The fitting of dentures was not quite right. They were supposed to have new ones made. Six weeks later, they started telling me that I have already taken it. After my husband’s several calls, they accepted and asked for new impressions. Six months after having paid for the new dentures, I am still waiting.

First time and last. I would give a 0 if I could, I had an appt to get a retainer removed and a teeth cleaning. First I got there and i had already filled out the forms online, showed them and they said they never got it, so that already pushed my time back. Told me they don’t recommend removing my retainer, that was fine and gave me my next option. I was already sitting in a chair then they had me go back to the waiting room after already waiting an hour. I decided not to fix the retainer because it was $600 to glue it down and they told me have a good day. I still had a teeth cleaning appt that they disregarded. Never took my temperature....customer service was terrible, overall sloppy experience.

The dentist was really patient and his dental assistant was very helpful. Only thing I recommend, if you’re sensitive to foreign substances in your body- do not take carbocaine, stick with Lidocaine. Carbocaine kept me up all night, it made me feel super alert.

I came in on an emergency visit with a toothache, making an appointment only hours before. Dr. Marini thoroughly explained the problem, her solution, and what needed to take place before she could remove my wisdom tooth. My mouth is very small and it was extremely difficult for her instruments to reach my tooth, but she was very gentle and patient, giving me more numbing anesthesia exactly where it needed to go whenever I felt any pain. Her staff explained very clearly how to stop the bleeding and what I should and shouldn't do throughout the recovery. In the end, I kept them over an hour past closing time, but had no further bleeding, swelling, or pain and was back to normal life the next day. My wife and kids had a very different experience having wisdom teeth pulled at another dentist, and I don't think we will try another dentist again.

Or the big one is they say we will call you back. It’s been since last March how long do they take to call back !!! I called again today and same excuse is account payable will call you back. My wife attends this dentist the wait can be long but that is to be expected. Also they charged her $450 without telling her she had to pay for a procedure they suggested. I feel that was due to poor communication. Dentist offices are a scary place, but this office is probably overbooked with patients due to COVID which makes the experience even scarier because the communication seems so rushed. I would suggest slow down talk to their patients and stop treating every patient like they have medical.

About 3-4 years ago, I had 3 wisdom teeth removed and it was an absolute nightmare. I wasn’t able to get general anesthesia because my ride home wasn’t present so they gave me laughing gas even after mentioning I had a panic attack last time I was awake during a procedure. Well I had a panic attack with the laughing gas and was crying and shaking uncontrollably. The female oral surgeon (don’t remember her name) sternly told me to stop crying as if I were a 5 year old throwing a tantrum. I wanted to punch her in the face. I kept telling her it hurt but she kept going and told me to stop moving or we would have to reschedule. She finished and I ran out of there crying. So traumatic.

Went in on Tuesday, Feb. 11th as a first-time patient. There was not a warm and friendly welcome; even though I prefer that than a fake “over the top, glad to take your money” first-time intro. I had to wait 52 minutes to be seen, even with an appointment. The dental assistant who did my x-rays apologized profusely and explained they were very busy. She was very sincere and friendly. However, I had to remind her not to keep touching the wall each time she would go back and forth between adjusting and operating the machine to touching my mouth. They were not able to do a thorough examination or cleaning because they didn’t have the time and it was already past closing time. I understood this. Daisy (billing/finance personnel) came and spoke to me directly while I’m in the dentist’s chair; and said she’d have the estimate of the other recommended services to me by tomorrow (via email) as she need to followup with insurance company etc. I understood this. She confirmed my email address AND telephone number, using NATO’s phonetic alphabet. The receptionist (Francisco, I believe) was cordial and booked me for Monday of the following week to get the cleaning done. I did not receive anything the next day from Daisy or WCDoC as promised. I decided to be patient. I called on Monday, Feb. 17th to cancel and rebook my appointment. I made the receptionist (Victoria, I believe) aware that I have not received or heard anything from Daisy or WCDoC as promised. She said if I’m sure my email address was correct. Told her yes and confirmed it AGAIN. She said she would let Daisy know and Daisy will be in contact. I called again on the morning of Monday, Feb. 24th to see if there was any availability for me to get the cleaning done on that same day. There were none. I understood that. AGAIN I stated that I haven’t heard from Daisy or received any information from WCDoC about cost or billing. I asked to speak to Daisy and was told that she is not in as yet; but as soon as she gets in Daisy will call me. He (Francisco) again confirmed my email address and phone number. Today, I called again to reschedule the appointment and was told by Victoria that Daisy is not in yet. She should be there from 11am-7pm, so I look forward to hearing what valid reasons/excuses there are as you why I have not received ANY communiques in ANY format for almost 1 month (exactly THREE weeks) after the promised date. Where’s the checks and balances to ensure effectiveness and efficiency? As I give them a second chance to claim my business, please stay tuned...

Friendly staff, but very dissatisfied with taking them 2.5 hours to do a simple and I mean, a very simple cleaning, it took less than 20 minutes, the rest of the time was just waiting, since they don’t have any Dental Hygienist, the one and only Dentist is the one doing the dental cleaning, she recommended more treatment and when I voiced my concerns her attitude changed. The place was clean and easy to find. This is a new experience for me having to go to a HMO for the first time, is too bad my insurance situation has changed and no longer can keep my own Dentist that I have been going to for more than 10 years...

West Coast Dental always tries to shove braces down my throat (figuratively that is). I'm not sure what kind of strong sales incentives they have in place but after being asked 3 different times during your appointment by three different people you begin to get suspicious. Visiting the dentist should not be reminiscent of visiting a Car Dealership! I would understand if my teeth looked as bad as the ones you see on British TV but that is not the case, aside from an obscure gap, my teeth are perfectly straight. After speaking to other friends and family about this issue, they too reported similar experiences at other west coast dentals (therefore this may be an all-around West Dental problem). I understand that this alone may not justify a 2 star rating... And so, the other half of my review is concerned with wait times. I intentionally made it for first thing in the morning at 10 am and still was not seen until after 11. Thus, the combination of both things made it so that I walked away from my appointment with a bad taste in my mouth (pun intended)

As soon As I walked in I was greeted with a big smile and checked in right away, the staff was very freindly, attentive and listened to all my concerns. DR. MARINI did a great job on my teeth and also helped me understand what I need to do to maintain them and prevent future problems. The dental assistant JOANNA although from a different office still made me feel comfortable and let me know that she was there to help and she did a great job. DAISY explained the insurance aspect and what was happening going forward. She was very thoughtful and gave me options for payments, She was very polite and understanding, She runs a great office crew. Friendly staff but communication is horrible. We always have to wait 2 or more hours to be seen with an appointment! My kids are 4 and 6 so this is difficult for them and for me that I have to spend my day just waiting. Our appointment today was 10 am and its 12:30 and we are still waiting.

I have been stuck with them since the grand opening!!! I went through about 4 or 5 dentist, and the same number of ortho doctors.. alll the doctors are great, the problems are treatment. I know my braces were taken off too soon, every new orthodontist has different work days, so they NEVER call me to update my appointment.. I guess they assume we don’t work. I paid off my bill in full.. big mistake. The COMPANY is not efficient, the workers just go where assigned

I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. They will asking you to keep coming back so they will waste your time. The front desk lady is so rude! She book me an appointment yesterday at 2pm but on their system it says 5pm. Thank God I have a proof to show that it is 2pm so we try to understand her mistake so we waited an hour for that. Then its been 2:40pm were still waiting so I ask the rude front desk how long is the estimated time we still need to wait coz its almost 2 hrs waiting dang ! She responded me that she didn’t know so how come I have my appointment but she didn’t know what time we need to start!!! They always overbook in here so your gonna wait forever ?. We will never come back in here!!!

They always claim they’re running late “today.” They regularly will call and cancel your appointment, therefore delaying the ortho treatment, which apparently it’s a common complaint here. Unfortunately every time I come here I wait an hour minimum after my appointment. The ortho reschedules all the time and is only there on Thursdays. It wouldn’t be so bad if they didn’t overbook. The staff is friendly at the front desk. It’s not their fault. But as a customer it’s really frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

If I could give a Zero or less, that’s what I would have given them. They state that they do custom dentures. They don’t. Immediately they billed my insurance for the full amount “custom dentures my ass” when they told me that I would be coming back for a fitting, they had the permanent dentures sitting there. They looked horrific. My jaw closed so much that I looked like I didn’t even have teeth. Nor did we discuss color or any of the many issues that I had. I should have ran when I asked for a brochure of these “custom dentures “ and they had nothing to show me, I should have ran out the door. The assistant contradicted herself every time I tried to explain the clearly noticeable problems, she would switch her story faster than your head would spin. This office is horrible. They have no business advertising this procedure when they clearly don’t know a damn thing about it! She had me in tears and showed no compassion. I ended up putting the dentures on the dental tray and ran out crying. Never received a call from them to work on fixing the problems. They are packed with triple bookings. It’s a cattle call instead of a dental office. I have called my insurance and gave them a statement as to my experience.and will be refunded my money.

The staff were great here. Very polite, friendly and the dentist was very informative. I like to know exactly what's going on and I didn't even have to ask before he told me. He made sure I understood everything he said and then I was informed of all the services I needed and available payment plans without any pressure. I finally gave in to my HORRIBLE FEAR of the dentist due to a cracked tooth and PAIN! So I went to West Coast Dental and EVERYTHING they promise is true and more!! They were so friendly and helpful filling out paperwork. Then they were so patient with my fear. Dr. Peterson explained everthing he was doing and waited for me to be ready. Meagan, Dental Hygienist, was gental and patient. After letting my teeth get painful because of fear, I have found the dentist office and Dentist that will make my smile bright again wihout any fear. Customer service is awful, called in to schedule an appointment and they asked me to hold a minute so they put me on hold for idk I was on hold for 5 minutes, I hung up and called back they put me on hold for 1 second and didn't want to hear a single word from my mouth, so screw them all

Worst dentist office ever. Ridiculous wait times and always trying to bait and switch on pricing. The Dentist is very nice though. But not worth the time you will spend waiting due to double and triple booking appointments for the same time. Beware.

Nice staff, they just need to be more organized with patient's appointments. On two different occasions i have rescheduled an appointment only to have them call me back to confirm (that the appointment i just rescheduled for another time) if i was still able to make it to my original appointment. I waited an hour today only to be told that i need to go back tomorrow because i missed my original appointment at 3 which i rescheduled for 5. No bueno.

I was referred here by my regular dentist because I needed a wisdom tooth pulled. The staff here are very friendly and they try to get you in as soon as possible. I did have an appointment at 1130 but arrived earlier to fill out paper work. They didn't see me until 12, so the wait wasn't too long. Very impressed how the procedure took less than 10 minutes. The dentist were very friendly and answered any questions I had. I would definitely recommend this dental office. Had a great experience.

This is the best dentist ever had a tooth pulled out of my jaw and could have lost all my feeling in my jaw if done wrong, he did a wonderful with in ten mins and it was supposed to take fourty mins, they were funny warm and friendly, had me forgetting I was there for oral surgery, I'll bring all my kids here love this place

Seeking cash only not willing to even try approval with ins. As well does not do basic cleaning when you go for your check with even plaque build up, they just want you to pay $800 cash for a cleaning & refuses to do the one ins. covers. New dentist now & place has gone down . Update, dumb dentist put filling in wrong new dentist said & the other filling fail out in the other. Be careful!

Worst experience ever!!! First off, if you need anything more than a routine cleaning expect to reschedule for one of their off site "specialists". My wife had returned expecting to have work done when she was told that they weren't qualified to perform the work. They recommended that we go to Kaiser to have the dental work completed. The "specialist" then proceeded to tell my wife that after the surgery she would probably drool for the rest of her life. As if this wasn't bad enough, one of the nurses bent over to pick up some supplies and one of the doctors slapped her on the butt. Everyone started laughing. Right after my wife was told she had a very serious condition.

The young female "assistant isn't the brightest bulb in the package. Dropped my wife's crown then had to be told to clean it before putting it in. Really? And it has broken twice in the month she has had it. I told them my last dentist used a 3d printer in office to create my crown and filling, and he tried to tell me that didn't happen. Like it was magic. My "cleaning consisted of polishing my teeth. I could have done that myself. Billing is all sorts of messed up with them billing me instead of my wife and vice versa. Was told by a dental surgeon friend of mine that West Coast Dental is the honey badger of the dental world. Find g a new one asap! Stay away!
