Do NOT take your children here!! Parents are not allowed to stay with their children during their procedures. My daughter had to get A Lot of work done 2 teeth pulled a crown fillings. I myself was told at the last minute I would not be allowed to stay with here. I'm waiting in the lobby nervous and crying myself. I was only told me once that she was doing okay. When they brought her out i could HEAR her CRYING down the hallway!!! I get up immediately and go to her she falls in my arms CRYING and SCREAMING saying she's in pain. The nurse said she was doing the same thing in the back and she was trying to calm her down too. Why wouldn't you come out and get ME. Needles to say I had to literally CARRY my 7 yr old daughter out of the dentist crying. I will NEVER be back!!

My girlfriend had the worst experience here me and her had to wait 4 hours to find out that they couldn’t do her cleaning due to her insurance but they already took her X-rays and had her wait in a room for 3 plus hours just to say they can’t do anything. The girls who are in front are unprofessional wasting people’s time not checking their insurance beforehand having them wait hours to tell them they can’t be seen or treated. I would not recommend coming here unless you want to waste your time

Don’t come to this place unless your have and hour and half or 2 hours to WASTE because the staff is rude the place is chaotic and unorganized and even if you arrive before your appointment time be prepared to wait at minimum and hour and half after your appointment time

I will not recommend this office place to anybody. I was there for my routine six-month cleaning, which I expected to cost $40. For this cleaning and one drop of antibiotic applied in three places, I was charge $565. This dental office is very misleading when it comes to billing. My insurance did not want to pay this outrages charge. I was promise I will get some money back. Since 2/17/2025 nothing has been done. I am very disappointed.

Profits come before health. Went here with a cavity in April. They sought approval for a $1000+ crown from Medical instead of a $100 filling. Medical denied the crown, so West Coast Dental did nothing about the cavity, but instead sought approval for $1000+ gum surgery, which I refused. Now it's December, 8 months later, and despite multiple calls, they are still doing nothing about the cavity. Probably so the cavity turns into an abcess and they can do a $1000+ root canal. Disgusting. I shudder that people bring their children to this place, and that parents get manipulated around the "health"of their children for West Coast Dental's profits. They treat your mouth as their corporate ATM machine. Horrible institution.

My mom was in Extreme pain, the first available appointment was six weeks away. We ended up finding another dentist that took my mom right away and helped to alleviate the pain, and an added benefit was that it cost 1/3 of what West Coast Dental was asking for. I couldn't believe the price difference, I feel that west coast dental's main aim is to make money. They are not concerned about the comfort of patients that are in extreme pain.

Got appointment at 4pm and my boys got seen at 5:30pm, their treatment was done in a rush because the business close at 6pm. Everything was rushed and I didn't get any feed back I had to ask if they had any cavities. The lady that do the clean ups it felt that either she doesn't have any patience for kids (like she expected them to know what to do) or she had a really bad day. I mentioned it to my young boys that I didn't like her attitude and they responded "mom she's always like that. Last time she was hurting me and I said ouch and she hush me with a mean face that's why I don't like to come, I'm always scare". I heard the way she talks and I 100% believe my (7 and 8 year olds) boys. This suppost to be a kids dentistry. Never going back and will NOT recommend.

Please avoid this place! I took my son to a basic cleaning and only 2 dentists for so many patients, nobody wanted to do it because everyone was busy. The lady which for sure was not a dentist, just did a quick brush cleaning, using a big water pipe because the small one wasn’t working. They ask you to sign documents that you can’t see, charge your insurance and do a bad job.

I usually don't post reviews, but this was definitely needed. They will cancel your appointments without telling you and reschedule without telling you. The lack of communication and lack of professionalism has been frustrating. I was bringing my son here for the last 5 years and each year has been increasingly worse than the previous. They don't value your time at all. 2 stars because some of the staff is actually nice, but the majority lacks customer service and does not communicate well.

They do really well with my daughters. Most of the staff are super nice. BUT they take forever. Rarely get seen on my appointment time. Even if I come 15 minutes early. I have waited 2hrs past our appointment for my daughter to be seen. On a separate occasion, they made us an 8am appointment, we got there 20 minutes early they don’t open until 8am so we waited. Signed in when they opened. Then we waited another 30 minutes. I plan to look for another dental office for my daughter. I can never plan around taking her to these appointments because I never know how long it’s gonna take just for her to be seen. Also the bathrooms are poorly stocked and not very clean.

They don’t serve you in a timely fashion even if you’ll be there on time. However, they’re good on getting you there…. They call and text several time so that you’ll be out there in their place. When you get there though, they ignored you. When you go ask them, show you “ don’t care attitude” and tell you to sit till you’re being called. What I don’t understand is why do they set me up at that particular time and won’t serve me properly? My time is precious too. I guess it’s time to consider other dentists. That day I left the office without getting service after an hour and thirty five minutes waiting. What a disappointment! I won’t take my kids there and won’t go myself again.

I've been coming for years since my son was a child and loved my experience today out of all visits! The office personnel Nara helped me and my son get the right care we needed and explained everything in great details. We are satisfied and definitely recommend this office!

Unfortunately I have no stars for them. I have gone three times to take my six year old for her initial exam at this site, as a referral from needed for school. I have called I have emailed I have spoken to the receptionist to the manager regarding their failure of keeping their appointment schedules on time. I was 1 of 3 parents waiting and wasting my time, my pay, and my kids education, which I'm not getting back anytime soon. One parent was waiting 2 hours, I only waited one hour before I decided to leave. It was one excuse after another from the poor staff, and I kept reminding them that this was my fourth time!

This place looks over booked with patients. Wait time is ridiculous. Very unprofessional staff specifically the African American assistants with rude remarks and so rough taking teeth xrays. Staff was unprepared I called in advance to let them know my child was special needs they had no idea during our visit until I said something. No special accommodations or anything offered to keep my child calm.thanks to this experience my child is terrified to see any other dentist.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. This was my dental office for over 20 years and I'd never had a problem under the previous owners. Unfortunately, its been nothing but problems since the business was sold and came under new management. I want to save people the trouble of being clients here so I'll mention a few of the issues Ive experienced. 1. BILLING. Consistently made billing "mistakes". Sent me a $2000 bill even though I'd provided proof of insurance and the entire bill had been paid. Submitted request for payment on work never performed, received payment which impacted my ability to get services. Overcharged for services. 2. ACCOUNTABILITY. They never take responsibility for ANY issues. It's always someone else who misunderstood or made the error. When they requested payment for work not performed, they blamed my dental plan. As if organizations make it a habit to send money for work not done. 3. CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you have a problem to address and aren't in the office, good luck getting someone on the phone. You'll have to come into the office and hunt someone down and even then you will likely not get help resolving the issue. 4. MANAGEMENT. The fast talking coordinators/office managers say anything to pacify you, but really provide no help at all. 5. APPOINTMENTS. Appointments are pointless. They constantly overbook patients. You'll end up waiting at least an hour regardless. They scheduled me for an appointment and after waiting 30 minutes or more, I saw the dentist walking in with food in her hand. They scheduled me knowing the dentist would be at lunch. I once confirmed my appointment with a specific dentist. When I arrived, I found out that my preferred dentist no longer worked there. They intentionally lead me to believe she was still employed there and would be seeing me that day. 7. INEXPERIENCED/POOR QUALITY STAFF. Lots of staff are fresh out of school and are inexperienced. Others perform poor quality work. They couldnt answer basic questions, didnt know how to take useable x-rays (dental plan rejected many of them, which caused delays to care), and couldnt do basic procedures. The front office staff are rude and unhelpful. 8. LOW QUALITY WORK. The work is poor quality at best and useless at its worst. Crowns were improperly placed and had to be removed/replaced by another dental office; fillings fell out, misinformation was provided. And as always, they didnt take responsibility or offer a refund or even an apology. 9. Found a new dental provider and this office requested payment for my dental xrays and refused to provide them digitally. They wanted to be paid to provide printed images which would have been useless. This office is a catastrophe. I highly recommend that you avoid it at all costs.

Waited 2 hours until I was seen. Do not come here it is a waste of time. I have been patient but when scheduled an appointment at 8 I should not still be waiting hours later for my mother to still be seen after me. I understand it can be very busy but this is absolutely absurd. It’s now 3 hours past our scheduled appointment and she has still not been seen. Friendly staff or not does not make up for the waste of time spent here.

I arrived for my 1:30 appointment but wasn't called in until 3 pm. When I inquired about my position in the line, I was informed that there were still a couple more patients ahead of me at 3 pm. Due to the excessive wait, I decided to reschedule my appointment for another day. Waiting for 1 1/2 hours, despite having an appointment, made the experience feel more like a visit to the DMV than a dentist's office.

This is place is grossly unprofessional always looking for a quick cash grab albeit they “claim” they do thorough and diligence work for verification of benefits. My sister had a wisdom teeth removal scheduled today at 1:30 pm, to remove 2 teeth, but we were stuck in the waiting room and she was not brought in for her procedure until 2:45 pm. Furthermore just last week (less than 7 days ago) we completed all paperwork for her patient file to be updated but when we came in today, a very rude and dismissive receptionist said “we updated our system so you’re just going to have to do it all again”. Why is no one their team actively working to ensure this is being maintained? Interestingly but CONVENIENTLY they see that there are additional charges for “required” procedures unbeknownst to us that were not mentioned during the original consultation totaling an additional $544, on top of that $220 already paid out of pocket. Additionally, for this oral surgery all they’re doing is numbing my sister and using no anesthesia because they “don’t do anything fancy like that here”. Avoid this place. Update: following the wisdom teeth removal they did NOT send the prescription to the pharmacy for any painkillers or antibiotics. Only after we called they then said “oh we forgot. We just sent it over (15 min before the pharmacy closed for the day). So now I have my sister sitting with her pain following her wisdom teeth being removed with NO painkillers or antibiotics.

Every time I call, they transfer me then hang up Then once they said yes that is a mistake and I owe them nothing. In addition to that I emailed them the bill and the receipt that I paid in full on the same day I was there, but no response. After 45 days I received the same bill again so I have to go again and show them the receipt. keep your paper receipts

For one don’t make a patient wait 50 mins just to get told that the permanent is not at the office yet. Waited 35 mins in the waiting room and anogher 15 mins on the chair inside. Nobody from the front office even bothered to give me a call. You guys are quick to send reminders but not figure out that the impression is not there yet. Im grateful for her knowledge and expertise, since this was my first time back to the dentist after having my 3 children. But over all I would not recommend this place. Constant time changes, date changes. And they told me they wouldn't see me unless I spent $900 for a procedure that isn't covered in insurance. I do not recommend.

My experience there was terrible, Appointment was made for 11am, I got there at 10:45am, signed in, wait 30-45mins until I WENT UP TO THEM to ask about any first time paper work, filled it out, only to wait another 30mins, to top it off they informed me my appointment was not in the system because I did it “online” 2023 who would think making an online appointment wasn’t the best way to go?! So it's already 1 by the time l'm called, they do the exam slightly go over a bit, tell me to wait for them to check my insurance, wait another 1hr I HAVE TO GET UP and ask them what's going on, "yea we'll be with you in minute" come back another 20mins finally show up with some outrages numbers for stuff I have to no idea about. Overall WASTED 3 and a half hrs there

I don’t recommend this place. My mother had dentures made here. They measured her mouth before her extractions and had the dentures made before remeasuring her mouth after the extractions. Not only are the teeth on the dentures huge but the dentures themselves do not fit. When she came for her rechecks the dental assistants and even the dentist would remark how huge her dentures were but had no recommendations or solutions on fixing them. When she asked about getting new ones they said she would pay out of pocket because Medi-Cal only covers one pair every 5 years. It’s frustrating that there is no accountability here.

This place is definitely not the place to go for a wisdom tooth extraction they try to add bone graft charges at the last minute on the day of my the surgery which comes out to about an additional 450$ for each tooth. They had said nothing Originally when they first took my X-rays.

DO NOT get your wisdom teeth pulled from this horrible place. They did NOT give my 19 year old daughter ANY general anesthesia to have her 4 wisdom teeth pulled. 2 teeth were removed orally, she cried, begged them to stop but the oral surgeon ignored her. The treatment coordinator told my daughter she would be put completely under, that there was nothing to worry about. They also told my daughter it was $900 and on the day of surgery, they told her it was $1,514. My daughter has tried to obtain her dental records, they are giving her a hard time. They also removed a molar and did not tell her why. Now she needs an implant. I am reporting to the Dental Board, Business Consumer Affairs, and hired an attorney.

The appointment and front desk team lack communication causing customers to be turned away and return another day. Insurance verification should be done when the appointments are made to avoid customers coming on a day a doctor isn’t available for hmo members. Weekend front desk representative are rude and have no empathy for their customers.

You could actually have a dentist with at least Josie, acceptable bedside manner, and one who actually looks into a persons mouth before telling them they need all their teeth polled. That man didn’t even look inside my mouth. He was rude, abrasive, and all around awful. He should be ashamed of himself. When I called to make my appointment, I explained that I suffer from severe anxiety and asked if you could please give me a dentist that would be nice and gentle. That did not happen. It was awful. I believe because I have Medi-Cal, nobody at your dental building, wants to give me the time of day. The exact same thing happened when my son tried to have his teeth worked on with Medi-Cal at your dental office. When we went to a different dentist, the results were like night and day. They were kind, gave him options, and now he has a beautiful smile. Somebody needs to do some thing about this man working with people with anxiety. He was not even in the room with me for more than two minutes. I don’t know what else to say other than he is a terrible human. I am most likely going to complain to whatever medical board you people belong to..

My experience was amazing. I hadn't been to the dentist in a while so I definitely needed so work. Stacy at the front desk was able to assist me with scheduling an appointment with the right Dr. and she was able to answer all of my questions and encouraged me to make me the right decisions for my health. Dr. Marcel explained the dental treatment thoroughly and took his time educating me on why it's important to maintain my teeth. My son had an extraction done today. After the procedure was over he told me in the car that the doctor was mean. He said he was scared and crying and the doctore told him 3 times to be quiet. We will not be returning to this office. I can't imagine the fear my son was going through 2 extractions and having someone who is suppose to be a professional tell a child to be quiet and stop crying.

Overall good office with a friendly staff depending on how you approach them. The wait is over an hour long even with an appointment not sure if they schedule everyone at the same time. Be prepared to wait! There is no communication between, dentist, hygienist, X-ray techs, and receptionist. which explains the over 2 plus hour wait despite showing up to your appointment on time. my kids have had teeth extractions here and they have all complained that they don't wait for the local anesthesia to kick in. they have felt the pulling, tugging, and removal, they do not wait because they are always in between patients and do not communicate. Sad but this office has gone downhill.

I love my doctor/dentist ?. They do doctor on your teeth! I also love my orthodontist. They really take great care of my teeth along with me doing my part as well. AKA-West Coast Dental orthodontics charged $1100 for services never received. Charged for multiple missed visits during Covid shut down. Applied braces before addressing removal of baby teeth, which ended up requiring surgery. Orthodontic care was paid in full but still taking over 6 months to get a refund and impossible for some unknown reason to get an itemized print out of all my grand daughters visits, charges and supposed missed Visits. I hate to think they are taking advantage of lower income people but it seems like they are. Three generations of my family have used them when it first started as DR Browns children’s dental it was great, it’s not like it used to be. Communication with this office is horrible. This has been a terrible experience and frustration for my family. Zero stars is our rating to them.

Bring more organized and better Dentist to actually see how a cavity looks. I been here for almost 3 hours because I was told my daughter had 7 cavities on Monday. Do to ortho not available until Wednesday to take her wire from her braces off so they can do her fillings I have to come back when ortho was here. Just so they can tell me sorry she doesn't have cavities. I'm in disbelief on how they go from 7 to none. Wasted my time on Mondays being her 3 in a half hours and another 3 hours Wednesday and have to come back on Friday when ortho is back to put her wire back on. This is ridiculous ?

I absolutely love this dentist they always go above and beyond their expectations. I been coming here before I had children, now I have 4 children and a husband and we all come to this dentist now. I really love their customer service they make sure you feel very welcome and they make sure to help you in every way possible. I’ll start in the front with the ladies behind the desk they are so nice and welcoming Lisa and Maddy are very nice and will make sure to get your appointments in, and make you feel welcome. Then we have erika she’s the best she will make sure your able to get your dental needs met and at a affordable price she’s so sweet and goes above and beyond her job. And I really appreciate Dr Kim he’s a really great orthodontics he does a really good job so calm and has a lot of patience with kids. Update I still come here with my family but a lot of the old staff are gone and old mangers. I’m a little disappointed because the staff that was there I felt so comfortable with. I also haven’t seen the same orthodontics doctor who started my daughter on her journey with braces I’m noticing there’s a lot of staff coming and going and different mangers each time I visit so that’s really a bummer for me because I like a stable office especially for my kids so they can have one person fixing there teeth not multiple .So I’m not sure if I’ll continue to stay I really have a long history but things have changed in the pass years after the pandemic it’s definitely bitter sweet.

I had an appointment today for a cleaning/check up and also a consultation with the oral doctor for my wisdom teeth. That's what I was told Over the phone. I walk into the office and the lady gives me forms to sign off on and it's to have surgery to take my wisdom teeth out that day. I was never informed that I was having surgery today . I had many prior appointments for cleanings and checkups and I was told they recommend I take my wisdom teeth out but nothing major. They also said I needed to wait until insurance approved the surgery and it would take a few weeks to hear anything back. I never heard anything back nor received anything in the mail. I had a cleaning a few weeks after and asked about the insurance approving and they said just wait. That was July. And every appointment since then I've asked about my wisdom teeth and the doctors said everything is okay. It's now January and I'm going in for my appointment and I never knew I was scheduled for surgery and they also blindsided me saying my insurance approved of the surgery since august that I should've gotten something in the mail and a call from the office. I never received any mail or any call whatsoever and my insurance covers it for a couple more weeks and then it expires. The oral surgeon will only be in the office today for this month. Again I'm being pressured to a surgery I never knew I was having bc they failed to call me and let me know. Now they tell me my bottom wisdom teeth are so bad that there's a chance I can lose mobility or feeling in my jaw after the surgery. One surgeon said feeling the other said mobility. They also said I needed a bone graft when they extract the tooth but I have to pay out of pocket for that. $900. Terrible communication between office and patients. How are you going to schedule someone for surgery and they go in completely unaware their supposed to have surgery that day ? My insurance has been approved the surgery for months and I never got any call or mail and now it's about to expire. Now it's been so long my wisdom teeth have gotten worse and there's complications. Totally unprofessional.

My mother has taken me and my siblings here for years when Dr. Brown was here . I had stopped going to the dentist due to a bad experience and have a fear of the dentist. I finally went back and the dentist and the tech made me feel so comfortable and I not in much pain. I had an appointment for 1 p.m. and I arrived at 12:45 p.m. and waited. An hr later I still had not been seen only for the receptionist to tell me the staff goes to lunch at 1. Why the heck would schedule me at that time? Then I continue to wait another 30 minutes for them say I need another procedure before I get my crown out on. It had me really upset and no compassion for wasting my time. Because I already paid for my crown I will have them do that procedure and then I will find a different dentist!

I can't necessarily say I enjoy going to the Dentist. However, I love how the new doctors & nurses here make me feel relaxed & comfortable. Being Autistic as well, it really helps me that they explain things to me and walk me through the process to make me feel a little more at ease. I must admit I like the new management better since they remodeled. I've been coming to this location since I was in Kindergarten and I'm 26 now. It's interesting to imagine how much the place has changed since Dr. Brown retired.

We went for our 4 year old son’s consultation and treatment. He had a bad tooth ache and we got to know he had more than 1 tooth to be taken care of. 5 baby teeth root canal and 5fillings. Everything was going good when we were discussing about my son’s treatment. We decided we can fix all teeth at once. He comes out after 30-45min procedure with stainless steel cap on his 2 upper front teeth. All the time doctor and front desk team saying ‘crown’ didn’t come to me as ‘stainless steel crown’. It was disappointing to imagine his smile being made fun of. No one mentioned what the crown was going to be like, in my head it was white which was not.

Every time I go to my appointments I am seen by a different orthodontist and they do something different which pulls back my treatment. I never write reviews but I had to for this location. Would not recommend. Go somewhere else. The first time I went here. One of the workers came out to tell me what I needed. And it all it came to over 10K when I mentioned that I only wanted what medical covered her response was "then what you come here for?" Unfortunetly, I still ended up getting one procedure done. The oral surgeon didn't even introduce himself or anything like that. At the end they barely said what the after care was and rather just gave me the paper with instructions with a few gauze and sent me on my way. They didn't bother to tell me if I needed to come back or anything like that.

Last time we waited 2 hours to be seen & the root canal took hourssss. This time after 90 mins I asked when we’d be seen & they wanted us to wait another 30 minutes. I promptly made a new appointment at a different dental business and walked out. This place wasted all their $ to make the place look cute but didn’t devote any time to hiring competent dentists or front of house staff. I would NEVER bring ANYONE here. This place is awful. For this dental office you need to be prepared to stay longer than your schedule appt. My daughter’s appointment was at 3pm, got called in to do her X-rays around 4pm. After stayed in the room waiting til 5pm. Waited for another 30mins..Didn’t get a common courtesy that they are falling behind. That would be understandable..And yet to skip my daughter to help another patient that came after us. No one came by to help us..you see workers walk by and just look at us..the doctor finally comes in and checks and discuss treatment, and say we will do cleaning and leaves. Again waiting for the oral cleaning but I just to hear the doctor tell the dentist hygienist was told to help another patient. I asked if we were next and now being told no I’m helping another patient that just got seated to a room.This point they obviously they aren’t going to see my daughter at all if it’s taking this long. I decided to leave and tell the front desk if they can put a note advising that my daughter didn’t get the oral clean on this day because no one in the back doctor or assistance didn’t take note of it. A business should have it on a claim if they didn’t do the treatment. They said the doctor would of wrote it down. But she didn’t write anything she went straight to the next patient. Although I scheduled an appointment for my daughter..I am not looking forward to it.

I don't like how the waiting room that is set up to look like a theater the t.v. is never on unless you request it. For the braces department it's 2022 and the different colors that are available for the kids are basic nothing vibrant and up to date. My experience for our 3rd visit was rude and upsetting I was told that it was against hippa rules if they let me go back in with my daughter. But for my daughter's 2nd visit they allow my husband to sit back there with her with our four-year-old daughter on his lap no one told him anything about hippa rules are even the fact that he couldn't go back there. When I mention it to the front desk lady all she did was tell me how there must have been a mistake and they weren't allowed back there as if I needed to lie. Right away when my daughter was seated back there the lady allowed me to walk back there with her and then another dental assistant a rude guy started telling me about how I couldn't be back there with my daughter. Which makes no sense. If this is there rules they should be for everyone. I hate saying it this way but my husband is Hispanic and I'm African American and my daughter looks like her father color and all and it just felt like I was being profiled for whatever reason because they allowed him to go back there just 6 weeks prior and all of a sudden everyone in the office had amnesia..

What is the point of making appointments and getting calls everyday 5 days before appointment to make sure your coming and then making you wait an hour to be seen. I started with bringing my oldest daughter first then decided to continue brining my other daughter. And now my almost 2 yr old is also coming in for check ups. My father waited a long time to see the doctor. We were there for two hours to be told he needed a deep cleaning but needed prior authorization. What was the point of the office scheduling an appointment in advance for him advising he was due for a checkup and cleaning without getting prior authorization ? It was a waste of our time . Service is not as good as it used to be . Not sure who you got working in your offices but you need better help !

There is always an issue with having them do basic work and provide decent customer service. There is a lack of professionalism, competence and empathy. Giving this place a 2 star because I really did not like how ALONDRA treated my daughter! “She’s only 6yr!” Alondra is not kids friendly, she literally pull the X-ray device out of my daughters mouth, she pulled the X-ray vest and pull my daughters hair! She clean her teeth and told her she was done and my daughter had to go all the way around the dental machines instead of her moving so my daughter could of gotten out the right way.. However as for front staff I can say they were KINDA friendly. The place was clean. As for my experience and my daughter I think I wont come back! Definitely will be reporting this to my insurance!!

I want to start this review by advice everyone DO NOT go to this dental office to avoid any problem later on. Here is the list of our problem: 1. Appointment time: Although we have appointment at 3PM, we waited for 2 hour before call in. 2. Misled on insurance coverage: We called before to confirm the dental treatment will be covered by insurance. But they bill us anyway with the reason: the doctor that accepted the insurance was not available, so the other doctor that perform the task was not in the insurance network, so we need to pay! 3. No one take responsible for the billing error. We tried to call so many time, each time they put us on-hold for 30 minutes to more than 1 hour and transfer the call around and another hold... The ask us to leave name and number for them to call back but never call back. 4. The bill was only $137 but we can't get any explanations on the charge and no communication from them. They send this to the correction office to force us to pay! 5. Call can not get to the right person: The last time we called on 7/26/22 and was transferred 3 times and finally to the manager Amanda's office, which has us on-hold for 45 min until the assistant name Cat answer the call and told us it is near 6pm and they are closing now, we need to leave message or call back! We hope the corporate office or owner can see this review and fix the problem and improve the customer service.

EVERYTIME I go in the service takes way too long and retainers appointments take over a month to book. Horrible horrible horrible and the worst part is that I’ve referred two others to go here based on the great experience I had with the previous staff the first time I got braces. I came in for my appointment today to have my braces removed and pick up my retainer. While a tech was trying to take the final photos of my teeth she told me to “smile regularly”. I explained to her that that was in fact my smile and she grimaced at me to my face! My teeth and smile has always been an insecurity of mine and to have someone react that way to my appearance made me very sad. I loathed coming into that dentist office for over 3 years because I KNEW there was going to be some kind of problem. All of the staff at that particular location are rude and very rough when providing care! I would never recommend that office to anyone.

This place is terrible! Do not go here and do not bring your kids here. I had to have all my dental work that I received here re-done because it was done wrong! My fillings were horribly plastered in, my crowns didn’t even fit my mouth. Honestly this place cost me $5,000 and lots of pain and tears. Dentists are rushed to see a lot of patients and the dental assistants are rude, one girl yanked a mold out of my teeth when I was getting an impression done, it hurt so bad. My first appointment here lasted 8 hours!!! I checked in at 10 and left at 5. It was terrible. And they wouldn’t let me leave until I signed a financial plan with them, they convinced me that my mouth “was the most horrible one that they’ve seen” which was NOT TRUE, I just needed a cleaning and a couple fillings. The financial coordinator went as far as to say she felt bad for my newborn baby because of my teeth. And I’ve tried contacting corporate and talking to the manager but they all just give you the run around. Seriously do not go here unless you like wasting money for terrible work and service. You will regret it. Try Ismile in Lakewood or toothworx modern dentistry in Cypress, they’re honest and upfront about everything unlike this place. **Update** They pester you non stop, after I’ve already told them I will NEVER return. This place is just a business out to get your money. DONT GO HERE.

Stop creating more patients then you can serve. The general is only available for my child Tuesday and Thursday only and ortho opponents are 2 months out. So if for someone you have to miss an appointment you have to wait. Not ok especially during covid. My children put there braces on in November and still have not seen the ortho once since they have been put on. It's been 4 months with no appointment. I do not recommend anybody who works to use this office. It does not accommodate working parents.

As someone who struggles with Dentophobia, I haven’t gone steady to a dentist in YEARS. As an adult, I don’t like being taken as a joke about it. The Dr. was very kind, and calm, and explained every step in the simplest form for me. His assistant was also great at keeping me occupied. I am 7 months pregnant currently, so I was having Braxton hicks because of my anxiety and the Dr. worked efficiently and quickly. I’ll probably stick to going here and my kids will also have their first dental appointments here shortly as well.

I love my lady dentist she’s amazing and caring, but the service at the front desk is very poor. I had an appointment, I was there on time I had to wait 2hrs to be seen because my dentist had a family emergency. Which is understandable it happens to all of us. All I asked was for status after an hour of waiting and the girl at the front said “one moment I’ll go check” with an attitude. I waited almost another hour when I went to ask for the second time. She already ignored me the first time, but the second time is not okay with the rudeness added to top it off. Nobody needs that kind of energy we can all get very busy. All I asked was for status. She could’ve just told me the dentist had an emergency that’s understandable.

This place has been a problem the past 2 years. They’ve given out false information and pricing, they don’t submit your insurance claims and try to get you to pay out of pocket and they never stick to the appointment time. I was just there and had a 12:00pm appointment and was told when I got there that it will be 40 mins to get in the back, the 40 mins turned into an hour and 30 mins. I went last year and was told I needed about $6000 worth of work done and they never submitted my insurance to see if they would pay for the work or some of it. Then 2 days ago ,all of a sudden, i only need a cleaning,root canal, crown and night guard and it’s $2000 dollars. I think this place is money hungry and they are getting over on folks. I WOULD NOT suggest this dental office.

I went in for my wisdom tooth extraction and they immediately wanted me out of the room, the assistant gave me attitude just because I was in pain! She was extremely rude and wanted me out of the room as soon as I got my teeth pulled out. They have no patience! They don’t even go over ANYTHING with you after your teeth are removed. I will be filing a complaint to corporate and any other departments.

I highly recommend this dental office. The entire team is amazing! Dr. Refaat is very knowledgeable. I enjoyed the care and professionalism Isabel treated me with, she goes the extra mile ? I would like to change my 5 ⭐️ to 1 ⭐️ as I have been waiting for over five months for my refund! Isabel promised to have this resolved with the office manager and corporate management team. Of course this was never delivered. This place is good with dental treatment, while not great at refunding once insurance double paid them. I paid out of pocket for my daughters service and so did the insurance, dental office kept both payments! How convenient.

Avoid this place. They are nice as long as you don't question their practices like taking x-rays for an orthodontist consultation they never notified us we'd be having. We came in for a checkup and to address tooth pain and they gave my son the consultation. I called to speak to a manager 4 times. I never received a call back. The 4th time I called I waited on hold 20 minutes. The time it took me to drive there. I spoke to the manager Erika who explained the x-rays were necessary and they didn't have to notify us of the orthodontist consultation because it's part of their all inclusive "comprehensive" care. I asked where and when was I told this. She said it's common knowledge but couldn't show me where it says that. It's not posted and I never signed anything that informed me of that. She recommended I call the corporate office. I think I'll just call the dental board and BBB. I never considered myself a Karen but I feel taking x-rays on children when it's not medically necessary is wrong.

I was sent here to see Dr. Youhanna ReFaat after another clinic royally botched me up. I saw him and the managers review my case, and then they took me to the back right after. Although it was a lengthy process cuz they were squeezing me in at the last minute, the whole staff took great care of me, were very gentle and thorough. Management handled me with patience and respect, and Dr. Refaat listened to me carefully and simply explained all the work I need done and why and how it’s affecting what, what my options are, and what’s best for me personally and why it’s beneficial. I wish I had come here to begin with!

The last few visits have been horrible. I keep coming back thinking maybe it will get better. I waited a total of 3 hours for X-rays and a basic fluoride cleaning. They didn’t even do any scaling. Would give this place 0 stars if I could. Everyone working here are extremely rude, unprofessional and don't seem to care about you. Be prepared to wait 2+ hours after your appointment time as they will take other people that come after you first. They don’t honor appointment times they just take people in and out randomly. First time bringing my toddlers I waited 2 &1/2 hours, next time we waited over an hour, both with an appointment, early in the morning. Different days. Didn't matter. This place is clean fun looking for kids, dentists fine, but front desk and office is a mess, Everytime I have to fill a lot of paperwork for my kids to sit in the chair 5 mins and be sent home. Doctor Brown maintained a consumer friendly, family oriented, professional office environment with everyone doing their job and not a whole lot of staff gathering in the hallways talking and laughing with each other. People here do what they want with your appointment. Meaning that if you make an appointment for example to remove your braces, they will give you a tightening. I kept making appointments to remove them and finally after 4 months they removed them. You can't argue with them because nobody knows nothing therefore you have to do what they want. They also have Doctors that can't make it to your appointment. They constantly reschedule your appointment. Leaving and looking for a new place to take my kids.

First time in a long time seeing a dentist, and this time it is under me. They were really good people who were really friendly. Ladies at the reception desk were really easy going to talk to and very cooperative. No hidden fees were thrown out; they were explained and shown before I make my decision on what to expect to pay . Dr. Cyrus Modarres is a FANTASTIC dentist! He explains things really well and observed every single detail that can affect my teeth. Even shows me how bad my teeth was and is not the type who just talks and expects you to believe everything. He really sincere and honest, and I would definitely recommend him for anyone as a dentist. Plan to come back and hope he becomes my main dentist if we can decide who we want to work on us.

I would put zero stars if I could! It’s not the same since this company took over! They do entirely too much & nothing at all at the same time if that makes sense. There’s always an issue EVERY time we go there! Everyone def isn’t on the same page! We NEVER get seen at our appt times! Last month I was there for 5 hours w/ my kids & my appt was w/ the dental hygienist that I never got to see!! I scheduled this appt 3 months prior & of course was disappointed when I didn’t get to see her. Pros: When I was finally ready to get braces, they were able to fit me in the same day. Initially I had a consult then finances discussion and finally the metal parts were glued in. They gave me the length of time I would require the braces and provided the information what to eat and how to care for my new braces. This place was thorough. There were no actual negatives, everyone was helpful and my mom went here 1993 with Dr. Brown and Dr. Humphries and it was nice they didn't try to bankrupt my mom because she is a stay at home mom now with us 4 siblings. Today that I went there as many have mentioned it was ok. Not great the ortho seems to not communicate with the rest of the team since he did not know my wisdom teeth were already extracted. Not to mention one of the doctors assistant was getting the measurements for my retainer and she was jamming the gel thing like she was ripping my mouth, like sheesh I come in peace. It was not too great.

First off I want to say Dr WONG is amazing. But I give a poor review because both times I went there with a scheduled appointment I was seen between 30-60 mins after my scheduled time. Not sure who’s fault but that’s terrible customer service.

If there was a half star, I would choose that instead a full star!!!!!Very unprofessional, had an appt. To speak with the dentist / ortho to discuss my concerns and voice my opinion instead of having our meeting in an office, in private, the Dr. Decided he wants to have it where every one is present, and in the conversation,.... During the conversation, most of the staff including the Dr. Laughed at me, and my questions and comments, very rude and unprofessional, with my daughter present, seems everyone's I've come in contact there was. 2 of my other children have had braces, one had his braces done when Dr. Brown was the Dr there, much more pleasant experience... The staff there now is rude, argumentative, and very unprofessional!! My daughter who is current in treatment there has had her braces on for 2 years, and now they're saying she's gonna need an additional year of treatment because of missed appts.my daughter was born with a metabolic disorder, therefore I have to put her medical appts before her ortho, with that being said, they want to charge me another year of treatment for her braces, that's rediculous....I just paid in full my balance of nearly $4,000, with another year would be over $5,000...and if I choose not to get the additional year of treatment for my daughter, they're going to remove her Braces, give her a retainer and send her on her way....wow....i had a final payment of $125 due, and they wouldn't schedule an appt until it was paid, which I did, that tells me that this company / establishment isn't doing what's in the best interest of the patient, instead what's in the best interest of the company / establishment... They made me feel uncomfortable and were very inconsiderate. The Dr. Lied about giving me the original estimate for my daughter's braces, even tho my daughter was present when he did. I would not recommend this office. The reviews speak for themselves. Take my advice and look at their reviews....and if you don't want to be intimidated, laughed at, treated rude, or to have your personal opinion be heckled, or be called a liar, I would recommend a more professional, dentist, one more welcoming, and less judgmental...and more considerate.. Dr Brown was an awesome Dr...we miss him

This dental office is no longer owned by Dr. Brown. The office is scheisty. If you don't allow them to consult with you regarding other dental services and needs; you will be rescheduled. At least this was my experience twice. I called and was told me and my daughter could have our teeth cleaned the same day. After declining the consult with Orthodontist and the dentist, and being lied to by the dentist. He stated that the hygienist would be in to clean my teeth. I was escorted to the appointment desk to reschedule my cleaning because " the hygienist was not in" all of the sudden while waiting to be cleaned. Meanwhile, my daughter was being cleaned at the same time. I was denied my cleaning. I was denied the opportunity to speak with a supervisor or office manager. No one was in I was told. I was accosted by the dentist, who tried to antagonize me and threatened to call the police because I demanded to speak with someone. That's the answer for black folk when other's act fraudulent and unjust towards black people. Not to mention others had their teeth cleaned. This has happened to me twice with this office as of today. I hate Dr. Brown sold to these greedy corporate entity. I will be filing a formal complaint with the state board. I had to give the one star in order to post. It is undeserved.

There are a few things you really look for when choosing a dentist when is a highly educated and skilled staff and another for me is a clean facility. Dr. Regatt has both of those and along with that excellent customer service everything went smooth and I was in and out in no time. Even with 5 root canals done, I can honestly say this is the best dentist visit I have ever been to. Thank you Beatriz and Desiree for working so hard and for all you do. Even though the drive was an hour an a half from where I live it was well worth the drive.

Horrible ,Horrible , Horrible experience today.... the Doctors are the only ones authorized to over book patients. And because I work at A medical facility I do know this. My child wasn’t seen today after waiting over one hour and twenty three minutes. We left! As long as I’ve been bringing my kids to this facility I’ve never ever experienced what I did today. Covid is still outside even though outside open back up. We’re still suppose to practice social distance. I heard several patients coughing and sneezing and their were way too many people in the facility. You know the facility was over booked when they instruct you to wait outside in your vehicle and you’ve patients inside waiting in the lobby and patients in the back. My child was being rotated and yet still was never even seen. To me this was a sign of greed by over booking patients it’s a disrespect to ones time. Medical assistant walking around with nothing to do but walk back and forth and stare the medical assistant didn’t even come back in the room to check on us. I heard one doctor entire conversation across from me talking about his daughters and wife’s birth. I didn’t feel any professionalism why waiting with the exception of the front desk the young lady was kind and apologetic because she was doing her best job. I’m truly disappointed with my experience today and I’ve decided to seek another dental office. And by the way my child was on time and all his documentation was updated so the experience today was awful. Mind you children are seen by specific doctors from the adults and all I seen in the back was adults. And only a medical person would know that you’re suppose to book certain services for patients. Example root canal work and getting braces certain services require a certain time slot.... These businesses really need to do better

I don’t feel they are willing to help you unless you can afford the entire bill. Twice I’ve sought them, once because of a promotion on crowns, and again because I have a few bucks through my dental plan and still need the crowns. The cost of the crown had tripled this go round. Both time’s the same dentist didn’t seem to care. I was presented with a $18,000 bill and the work I asked for was not even completely included in the bill. That’s another $1,600. I’m not sure why people mislead the public with claims of wanting to help when all they do is look for $$$. Thanks for nothing doc.

No stars given horrible treatment today I had an appointment at 9:00 a.m. I called in around 10:00 to let them know there was car troubles what time can I come in I was offered 11:00 a.m. or 12:00 p.m. I chose 12:00 p.m. I got to the office early to wait two and a half hours requested update 4:40 p.m. I called inside of the office after agreeing to wait in my car I have lupus high risk for covid I was put on hold till my phone had a ring back from the office therefore it rang till a Big easy signal I was never given a call back I am still sitting in the parking lot at 6:00 p.m. due to high traffic and me living hours away this was a horrible experience before Dr Brown retired this has never happened I would like to report this is caused high stress for me

I went in to this office to see a specialist, recommended by my dentist. Had the work needed same day, paid nearly 5k up front, was supposed to hear back from them to have a follow-up within a month. Its been two months and no one has bothered to call me. Terrible service!! FYI, make sure you clear your schedule. The wait time is 30mins to an hour, even if you have an appointment.

My saving grace was the Best Dental Hygienist I have had the pleasure of having care for me, TAM TRUONG MDC she was so Gentle with me. Everything was great from calling them 5 mins before my appointment time because I was running late, Maddy who answered the phone said not to worry that I have a 15 min grace period which meant a lot. From me stepping into the dentist office, maddy was there to greet me and to answers all my questions even help me with paperwork. The lady who took my X-rays (Bernice) was so nice and was very informative. Than I met the doctor who was dr. Refatt hopefully I spelled it right because this guy really loves what he’s doing at it shows. I will definitely be going back to get all future work done , plus I’m telling everyone I know about them. Kimberly was so professional and helpful really a great team!!!

If I could leave NEGATIVE stars I would ! This is the slowest dentist office, the girls at the front desk act like they can’t see you. When you check in for your appt, make sure you have nothing to do that day because you’ll be waiting forever just to be seen, then forever in the room. Yet if you’re a little late, they’re quick to say “your appt was at... you can’t be seen now” I have 3 kids and I have issues with this place EVERY. SINGLE. TIME! Some of the actual dentist are nice but SLOW. They have a cute set up for kids but definitely not worth the bs they put you through

The doctors are great but the office staffs need better procedures. I was scheduled for a cleaning. Arrived at 2pm and was taken in after 4pm. Waited over 2 hours. After seeing the doctor, the staff said they will call me later to schedule a cleaning. Why won’t they approve the cleaning with the insurance first. ?♂️ This is my 3rd time waiting over 2 hours until someone finally sees me. An schedule appointment is a time when you meet. Not show up and wait another 2 hours. Office/Admin need to organize or have better planning.

This place placed me in my first collection never told me anything about it. I like to be honest I had move out of my old place never told me as visits continued that there was a balance that was not covered by the insurance. So now I am in collections. Now I feel that a lack of communication and it was was something I would of taken care immediately if I was told about a balance. Now I feel the place did not look for the customers best interest.

I’ve been coming here since I was in high school and I always have a good experience. They really take care of you especially if you get anxiety coming to the dentist. Dr. Larry Crawford did a great job with my braces many years ago and Dr. Abraham has been taking really good care of my teeth and gums.

I have four children and every time I have gone to this dental office for my young ones our experience has been horrible. I finally checked the Better Business Bureau on this business and found numerous, numerous complaints from unsatisfied patients. Yesterday was the straw that broke the camel's back being tricked into believing my daughter's hole in her tooth was finally going to be repaired which is was not. Last time we came here the hygienist cleaned 2 of her teeth and then the dental office charged the insurance for a full cleaning. I can go on and on but will take the time to report these incidents to the proper agencies instead.

They told me I had multiple cavities and was going to need a root canal. I went to get a second opinion at two different dentist offices and both said I had none. There out to get your money they don’t care about their patients. Also I waited 2 hours just for a cleaning...ridiculous and a waste of time. Please go somewhere else.

Save your teeth, money, and tome and do not come here, this place is terrible. They overbook and have you waiting over an hour plus after you scheduled an appointment months in advance. They are rude, with a few friendly exceptions, and are extremely unorganized. One of their dentists were late then rushed my root canal, I came back for the permanent and something went wrong, months later my entire tooth cracked and I had to get it extracted. Added thousands of dollars to my braces treatment and the only thing they did was pull it for free, well that doesn’t bring back my lost tooth. Now I need to go monthly and every time it’s the same thing. Back when it was Dr. Brown’s practice it was good but since then it’s terrible and I can’t wait for my nightmare of a treatment plan to end.

Not sure what her exact title is but MECCA was the best. My son is 25 and has autism. Her gentle demeanor made my son's root canal completed with ease. I have never written a review in my life but needless to say, don’t come here! You’ll be here longer than 2+ hours with an appointment. Management is careless and rude. (specifically front desk people). Choose a dentist that care for you and your needs. I’ve had to get second opinions on braces, wisdom teeth/pre molar extractions, and in the long run didn’t need extractions. They just want money!!! I couldn’t be happier to have switched dentist!

This place is absolutely horrible. We scheduled a 10:00 am appointment and arrived at 9:45 to check-in. At approximately 10:30 I was asked to fill out a few forms and turned in shortly after. I asked how many patients ahead and they said 1. Around 11:30 I asked for another update and they said we were next... it was 12:00 pm and we finally got called in for X-Rays and get sent back out to the waiting area. We see the Dr at around 12:30 to only explain what was causing the pain and what the treatment would consist of and got sent back out because he has a patient before us and it would only take him 20 mins. It is now 2:00pm and he just got called in. We are also not the only family in there that asked for updates. It is unacceptable to have patients waiting around for 4 plus hours specially in times like this. If my son had not been in pain I would have taken our service elsewhere.

Last visit I went to with my daughter, I had to wait close to two hours and by then end of the visit they were not able to complete the treatment because it was too late for them to wait for ortho to remove the wires. Today I went again to General and ortho and General said that again they could not finish the treatment because they had complicated treatment with another patient and it took longer than expected and they could not get to my daughter's treatment

I was a patient many years ago and I brought my son back because at THAT time the service felt like family and it was excellent. I never leave a review anywhere, but I am desperate to get a call back from a oncall dentist. I have been trying since yesterday to get a call back from one and have not recieved one yet. This also happened less then 2 months ago in July of this year I called 2 different days multiple times and never got a call back. ( keep in mind they advertise oncall dentist available for emergencies) They should stop false advertising. Update: It is now the 3rd day and I have called multiple times each day and still no call back from a on call dentist.

I've tried many offices and I've had the work experience... But this office has made me change my mind about hating to go to" the dentist ?" They have the best staff ever yes they take long sometimes but because they are taking care of patients that are being treated with surgery or major treatments. I started taking my kids I started going along with my husband and also now my father and so far we have no complaints we had extractions surgeries cleaning deep cleaning braces crowns and so far everything has been great I have now been going for about 4 years. Dr Abraham is the best.

Took almost an hour for my son to be seen from his appointment time. When my son went in he went in calmly when the dental assistant insisted on shoving the X-ray in my son’s mouth when he told her it was too big and made him gag. She then proceeded to shoving it in and my son claimed to be scared and she said ok. By then my son was over it and was crying. They then told me they would have to tie him down. I angrily said no tying down would be needed my son isn’t an animal to be tied down. WONT BE COMING BACK.

Dr. Abraham is amazing! My operation was to change my filling from cement to porcelain and he was able to do it. Throughout the whole tedious process he always reassured I was not in any pain/discomfort which I feel many dentists lack. I have genuinely never felt so confident in smiling and in this dentistry. This place is open during this covid pandemic and they’re even more worse at managing their scheduling patients than before. Appointment was at 10:30 am and still not done after 2 pm. How and why should we stay here over 3 hours inside the building with bunch of people and nonstop in/out patient+family. After waiting for hours they tell us we have option to come back next time. ? Switching dentist, never coming back to this dentistry.

I would highly recommend Children's Dental Building. I chipped off part of my tooth it was very painful. Where my tooth had chipped it was also cutting into my tongue. They were very professional. The office was extremely clean. Because of the Covid-19 virus they took every precautionary action. When I called to see if I could be seen they got me in less than 24 hrs.

After a prior visit on 4/24/20 at Children's Dental, another appointment was scheduled for 5/8/20, while my regular dental office in Orange, CA is still closed during COVID-19. On 5/8/20, I arrived 10 minutes prior to scheduled 2pm appointment time and I checked-in. I then waited an hour in my car, in a hot parking lot, before I received a call. I was told that a part had not been received from the lab, therefore no work could be done. So, I travelled 19 miles one-way (38 miles round-trip), wasted an hour+ waiting in parking lot, along with wasted round-trip driving time... What an unnecessary waste of time and an inconvenience to me!... All because someone dropped the ball by not verifying prior to my appointment!!!

Two visits in a row but nothing is the same in the children's dental service, I have been there for 4 years until after 2 visits in a row my 3 year old girl has not had the and they come back with the same tartar on their teeth, it's really not advisable, they don't want to do their job well before, they did have good doctors who cared about cleaning them well, but now they only charge without doing anything.

Came here for my son's first dental visit and he actually really enjoyed it. He's 4 and needed a check-up for his PreK class. He was a little scared going in but the environment is so kid friendly and i think the movie playing eased his mind and distracted him from feeling scared. He got Xrays and a cleaning and everyone there was so sweet and welcoming, he had a wonderful experience. No cavities and he left with stickers and a little toy. If he's happy then im ecstatic! I would rate this place for 10 stars not five star because I am lucky to have Tam Truong take cate my gum, my gum is really swollen and red, I have deep pocket, and bleedinh with bad smell on the time. I came to childrend dental Building and met Tam. She is do great, she is an exellence dr that I ever seen, she explainted for me very detail, help my gum stop bleeding and swollen with Perio Protect which is no one mention this to me until I meet Tam. She has very gentle hand, she did a deep cleaning with easy procecure, I am very anxiety to she dentist , but with her I feel very confortable and easy. I’ve visited the children’s dental building a few times and have always been greeted by a friendly and helpful staff. The ladies at the front desk are very helpful and always answer any questions I may have about my dental coverage. I have to say the oral surgeon has to be one of the best in the business. He is very professional and removed all four of my wisdom teeth painlessly, I was in and out of procedure in less than an hour!

I gave them a couple chances to get it together since they took over from Dr Brown but it only got worse..first we sat there an hour and a half after our appt. ...again!! Their last chance was today when they tried to do my sons procedure on my daughter .. how does that even happen?! Not worth the risk! The wait I understand but the mistake of the procedure was mind blowing! Glad I caught on and corrected them! But it’s really sad cause they have a couple good dentist there and they’re eventually gonna pay for others mistakes. The mistakes aren’t going to be made in my children’s mouths..

I have been bringing my boys here for over a decade when the office was ran by Dr.Brown. I have never experienced such a delay in being seen like the way I experienced yesterday. I contacted this office to advise that they falsely reported to the insurance company that my boys had a cleaning performed there on their last visit (which they didn't) When I requested that my son be seen for this supposed cleaning,I was provided next day appt. I was very direct abt my firm appt and that I my son had a very important appt following his cleaning, I was advised that I wldnt have to wait. My son's appt was at 1pm, he was not taken in until 2pm (only because I kept getting up and reminding staff I had important appt to go to). After 45 mins had past and my son wldnt come out, I requested an update. My son came out at 3pm and advised that they did X-Rays yet again (I only requested cleaning) and they had him in a room laying down on chair watching TV performing no work for 40 mins...he said he heard front staff personal go back there and tell staff that Mom is requesting update and needs to leave...my son said cleaning took approx 5 mins. This is unacceptable behavior, not only do they fraudulently report services to insurance company, they take advantage on follow up appts and bill for x-rays again when only cleaning was requested. They kept me waiting for 2 hrs for a service that only took 5 mins. My son missed his important appt, it was rescheduled for early September. I am livid with this place.

Once my son got called in Olivia had a long conversation with my 9 year old making him feel conftorable since he was so scared, she was so great I cant thank her enough for such great job she did, taking xrays, she made me laugh, I wish I couldve had her helped me when I was little ? . We walked in close to lunch time and Dr. Korhani accepted to see us anyway which I am grateful for. She had Olivia and jessica assist her during my son's procedure and he did so awesome accordingly to Dr. Korhani although he was scared lol it was all thanks to you girls that he did great, Olivia held my sons hand, he was such in great hands. I am beyond happy and amazed with our visit thank you all for being so good to my son. There’s a lot of bad ratings but I have very good dentist doctors who work on my teeth. I’m 17 and they are really nice to me, they make sure I am okay during the time they are doing my teeth and do a really good job. Every time I have a lot of drool from during the procedure they clean it up for me so I don’t feel uncomfortable. I go there and they are very patient. Also there is very nice staff in the front who assist me, I would give this place 5 stars because every time I go is really cool. The place has a theater with nice seats if the front is full and the place is also very friendly like and clean.

So, let me start off by saying I never do reviews because I was always told, "If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all!!!" That being said my family has been coming here to this particular office in Cerritos for over 7 years now for my children at least. When we first started our journey it was not under the Children's Dental Building name. The service was HORRIBLE, we would wait for hours to be seen during a schedule appointment time with no follow up as to how much longer things would be, but because we were comfortable with the doctors and our children liked them we chose to continue coming. Now, with the new Children's Dental Building upgrades, the much more friendlier office staff, and the much shorter waiting periods. I'm glad we decided to stay. I had my first appointment this week and I must say Dr. Michelle is AMAZING!!! She is so gifted in the way she takes care of you and so are her assistants. They were so informative on what would be happening and even offering care advice. Even the lady that explained the payment information (sorry can't remember her name) made me feel comfortable with giving my money away lol. I love the new look and the new feel when you come in especially the film room for the kids and the big kid in me. Thanks so Much Team and keep up the GOOD work!!!

This place is very unorganized and no communications between front desk and docs. Every time we made an appt and show up for the work, they claim that appt was not made or that they can't do the work because nobody is there to do the work that is suppose to get done. No appologies ever nor the supervisor wants to meet us when asked for them. Just unprofessional. They do the work and walks off to someone else without a word on instructions of care after adding things to the braces. Would not recommend this place if you're looking to get your braces done here. So disappointed. SMH!

I took my daughter for a cleaning. They told me she had 4 cavities without showing me xrays. They had my daughter already strapped up and ready to go when I said no. I brought her to another dentist and they took xrays fraud and said she had 0 cavities. These people are just after the money. Turns out my daughter was going to be put in pain for nothing. They must be reported to the board. Who knows how many times they have committed fraud .

Before my son's appointment was made I explained to them that he has autism and the certain issues that he deals with. They promised me all these things and that they would be able to help my son and just like I figured they did not. My 6 year old autistic daughter also had a appointment and was more cooperative than my son. The doctor mentioned that she needs to be sedated and they actually sedate patients but when it came to my daughter she says maybe she needs to be in a hospital setting. It just felt like she didn't want to be bothered. I'm very upset for having my time wasted and being lied to. I will be reporting this place to the dental board. I also was told that they would give my children a referral to someone that could actually help them. Again I was not given a referral.

Just don’t bringing your business here. Go somewhere else. If you ever wanna waste 3 hours of your life you can come here.I've been coming to this dentist for a while and everything was great before and pretty quick in the beginning. However today I had a 2PM appointment and I was waiting in an office for an hour before they even realized they forgot about me. The lack of communication is very apparent and it shouldn't take an hour to be seen. Definitely my last time coming here. I've been here for near 3 hours. Ridiculous.(2018) (2019) A WHOLE YEAR LATER AND I DECIDED TO GIVE THIS PLACE ANOTHER CHANCE TO KEEP ME AS A CUSTOMER. Ive been going here for years and two weeks ago I scheduled my yearly cleaning and check up for military purposes and they call me 30 minutes before my appointment to tell me that they cannot take me and that I was not supposed to be scheduled so late. They told me 30 minutes out. I will never come to this joke of an establishment again.

The service in this place is horrible from management down.The staff (Eddie is very LAZY) the manager Denise is WORTHLESS. If only the owners of this business knew how its ran.I think the staff follows Denises's bad example in customer service. I don't ever feel well taken care of. Mind you they are in healthcare (care for your teeth and your time.....I dont think so!) Although they "speak it".... it does not reflect in their professionalism. Save yourself some time and disappointment. You will be waiting 2 hours in the lobby. They over book...I have never been there and have been see with proper scheduling, I have been a patient there for about 20 years. Mind you this is the expectation that you have before you see the dentist. Definently a let down.

I came in for a cleaning and as I was there I spoke to the dentist about a bridge that was out on about a year ago . And they adjusted my bridge as I waited to get numb for my deep cleaning. They have quality work that comes with a warranty. CouldntC have it better any other place.

No Stars at all but the receptionist was nice. This is by far my worst experience I have ever had with any dental company. My children used to be patients when Dr Brown own the business and even though we wait for a long time to see their dentist, we were never disappointed with the service received. Took my girls for their appointment to this place that is now under new owners, and we received the worst customer service ever. After their x-rays, we were told to wait in the lobby for further assistance. Personal was going to talk to me about my girls treatment and discuss cost. Well we waited for an hour and no one ever came. Approached one of the front office personnel and was told to wait that someone was gonna be with us momentarily. 30mins later, I see most of the staff and dentists leaving then one of the workers comes to remind me of future appointments for my kids just to find out that those weren't even my kids. They were somebody else's kids and future appointments. When I finally asked again of whether or not my girls were gonna get their cleaning done, receptionist was clueless and said we have to make n appointment for cleaning because everyone that does cleaning have gone home. I asked about the breakdown cost of the treatment plans, she had no idea. She went in and asked financial clerk and came back with a lame answer that they'll waived any fees for future appointments due to the wait which is now just me and my girls in the building. After much questioning, she finally admitted to me that they don't have the numbers or the financial cost for the dental treatment and they had forgotten about us. I will never go back to this place. I only made an appointment because our favorite Dr Korhani stayed with the Dental Building. I would not recommend this lace to anyone. It looks nice from the waiting area, but it is so close and small at the back where dental works happens. There's no privacy and the Dr that checked my kids teeth literally had to write exam results on pieces of paper because assistants were slow or occupied with other patients to assist him. The remodeling may be deceiving when you first step in but beware...

My appointment time was 4:00pm. After sitting for 40 minutes I asked the receptionists how much longer and she said we were next. This seems to be a reoccurring problem as it’s not the first time this has happen. If you schedule me for a certain time I should be seen at that time and not 45 minutes later. I have had nothing but bad experiences with this Dental office since they switched staff. They are very unorganized and rude. Nobody truly cares about the patients. All they care about is how much money they can make off of you. I have gone in 3 times now for my son to get a cleaning. The 1st time they had us waiting for 1 hour and then I went up front to ask what was taking so long and they said oh hes a new patient he needs to fill out paperwork. So I filled out the paperwork. Then they weren't able to see him because I didn't have his insurance card. Since he has been going there since he was 4 years old I figured they had all the information so I rescheduled. The 2nd time he went there they bo longer had the paperwork that i had filled out. So i filled it out again and this time i had his insurance card and i gave it to the front desk along with my ID and she made copies of it. After waiting a long time again i had to leave because i had another appointment. So the 3rd time today. Same thing didn't have his paperwork. Then with my daughter she had referred her younger brother for Ortho and they told us that she would get a free sonicare tooth brush for the referral. To this day she is out of braces and still hasn't received anything. I have asked 2 times and was told they were looking into it but last week when I asked again they said that since she started treatment with the previous owner that promotion isn't apply to her. Also they had her waiting for 1 in a half hours in a room while the doctor and staff were at lunch to get her teeth cleaned. I will never come back to this office again!!!!!

Ever since they remodeled this building seems like they also “remodeled” the staff as well. New management is so BAD! Horrible wait! Last time my child was left in the room for more than hour! I kept asking why they were taking long and all they said “oh she’s under exam” I’m like usually they don’t take this long. So I asked I needed to go in. My surprise was my child was not even been seen. Poor my bay waited on the chair for more than hour. Shame on them. Not to add more. What worse Can this be? After going there for than 20 years I decided to never go back. I will not tolerate the “LIES “ especially when it comes to my child.

I was sketchy to come because the bad reviews. My general dentist recommended this place for my little girls dead tooth so I honestly didn't want to come. But I finally did. And WOW I honestly liked the place. Good nice people, no rudeness. They were patient and explained everything in a matter i can understand about her teeth. This place sucks. Just like all the others said, ever since Dr. Brown left, the new management provides TERRIBLE service. The last time I went I waited from 11 to almost 12. Then they called my name and the doctor FORGOT I was back there ?. Im sitting at my second and last ever appointment with them right now, and they just called my name 30 mins after my appointment time. I'd give it zero stars if that was a rating ??.

I showed up to my dental appointment and worst of all they denied my treatment and yet they threatened to get me and my father false arrested by saying they were going to call the Artesia Police Department and false arrest us just so they can get the entire Artesia police department fired one by one and I had to wait 30 minutes and I see one of their hygienist walking back and forth back and forth back and forth you know I really do hope dr. This place has gone down hill since Dr. Brown has sold the dental building. I had an apt for 10:00 and didn’t get seen untill 12:30 i believe after there lunch. They need to stop over booking patients. I love the orginal owner Dr. Brown, one of there assistant refured to him as a clown and unprofessional because of the way he dressed. This place is very slow and no one cares if you have been waiting over two hours and after two hours we are still waiting. I had taken my kids here when Dr. brown was in charge everything was great they said my kids had no problem, had them checked out no to long ago they told me they were ok, I took my children for their spring cleaning here and they said my kids had all kinds of issues which I believe was strange and to top it off they performed 3baby root canals along with a couple a fillings they even try to sell me on getting them laughing gas but I didn't go for it and just today my daughter was scared to death because her silver cap came off, my poor baby girl is all traumatized smh don't like this one bit.

Today six months later after his 2nd reschedule appt by the office I waited over an hour and a half. And they still had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to reschedule because they were running behind. When Dr. BROWN owned the practice it was an excellent place. Now that west coast runs the place feels like a car dealership... The dentist trying to push all this procedures and then the finance team makes you wait for ever....they will take your Xrays in 5 minutes of you checking in...but you will be out of there 3+ hours later and a gigantic bill [even withinsurance]. People keep your kids and yourself as far away as possible from this place.

Dr. Tahereh Korhani, DDS Pediatric Dentist. Has been the only Dentist my 3 children have seen, and it's been about a decade now. We are long time clients of hers, and trust in her care of our children. She is pleasant, caring, as well as an honest Dentist. My kiddos do not give me any grips when it's time to see her. It's all because of her, and her staff. That my children only know of good experiences at the Dentist. They take care of their clients. I highly recommend her.

I have been coming here for the last 17 years with my entire family, it was always great until the change in ownership. 2 of my children have braces through them and are in the middle of treatment, it's the only reason I keep going back. Every month I take them for their appointments we are there for HOURS! The staff don't know wbat they are doing and everyone is rude, zero customer service! First of all, I am afraid of the dentist! Which is why I was in the predicament I was in, I waited to long to go in and needed a tooth pulled. Everyone, from the front staff, the x-ray person, the dental assistant and the dentist were all so great!!! Everyone was very nice and helpful, everyone kept telling me they were going to take good care of me, which they did! Dr. Alvarado was fabulous!!! He was kind and explained each step he was going thru. He asked me multiple times if I was okay. He made sure I wasn't in pain and he told me when he was going to do something that would hurt a tiny bit. I wish I came here from the beginning, I don't think I would be so afraid of the dentist if I had. I will definitely be making this my permanent office! Thank you all again!

Have been going here for 21 years, Loved Dr. Brown as a kid and then Had Dr. Kam as an adult which i LOVED. Best dentist ive ever had. The three stars however are because they went under new management, Dr. Brown retired and now Dr. Kam is no longer there. Im upset because there was no notifications, no cards sent out. I had dental work being done with Dr. Kam that was plan to be spread out over a time frame and to find out that he is no longer there to finish what was being done is upsetting. Time to find a new place!

They always hang up on me when I try to set up an appointment. You have a long wait when you come for appointment. They don't allow you to be in the room to comfort your child when they are working on their teeth. My 4year is now terrified of dentist. Love this dental office my mom started taking us since we were children always quick on calling you and out of there office quick also, i will now be taking my children for there first time visit??

THIS IS A CLINIC THAT I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE IT HAS BAD SERVICE FROM THE MANAGER MARGARET WHO DOES NOT HAVE A GOOD COSTUMER SERVICE THEY CHARGE VERY EXPENSIVE THEY CURE MY TOOTH AND AFTER A MONTH THE CURE FELL OFF BUT TO GET CHARGED THEY DO NOT FORGIVE YOU THEY ARE VERY SARCASTIC YOU ASK TO TALK TO A SUPERVISOR THEY GIVE YOU NO REASON TO COMPLAIN

I came to this place because my wife and kids told me. To come my kids of all ppl. And you know what it's really good. I had Mr Alvarado great guy only works Saturday that really works with me I don't miss a day off work

waited over an hour for a 9am appointment ( this the 2nd time ) the lady told me i was next they never called my name waited a month for the appointment , the whole place is slowly they be over book will never go back again

Love this office. Staff is courteous. Doctors are gentle and fantastic at communicating as they work. Dr. Brown always calls you after to check how your visit was. I feel so lucky to have found a dentist office that I feel safe and comfortable with. Must go to if you are terrified of the dentist they will leave you amazed at how not terrifying the dentist really is! So pleased.

I love this dental building! The child-inspired decorations on the inside of the office are so unique and the dentist, Dr Brown, is amazing and great with kids! My 4 year old actually likes going to the dentist now. Also, when we were undergoing a dental emergency with my son, Dr Brown called and checked up on him later that night to see how he was doing. He genuinely cares for his patients, unlike other dentists who are "usually" only in it for the paycheck...

They were fairly nice but probably over treated my kids' dental issues. They said both of my children needed multiple extractions and crowns. They wouldn't let me sit in the room with them during the long procedures. They made it all seem very urgent and rushed. My kids were pretty traumatized. I'm at a different dentist now and they had to pull one of the teeth that were treated 6 months ago. It's been a completely different experience. They have been amazing with my kids and explained everything clearly and calmly. Given tons of special prizes and dental supplies. It's been a completely different experience. I honestly will never bring my kids here again.
