This place is pretty good! I had a wonderful experience at this dental office. The staff were friendly and professional. Dr. John took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. His assistant, Vei, was also very lovely. I’ve been to many dental offices for cleanings, and this was by far the best one — unlike many places that rush through the process. You don’t need insurance to come in, and the prices are very affordable and reasonable. The office is clean, modern, and runs efficiently — I barely had to wait. I really appreciate the care and attention to detail they provide. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and gentle dentist!

The staff is amazing at this office. My daughter needed some work done and the staff took the time to explain everything so well and even answered repeated questions for both my husband and I. Since I arrived in Houston, Dr. John has been my trusted dentist. I've trusted every decision he's made and now see him every six months. I recommend him without fail. He and his team are always attentive to every process. And the receptionists have always helped me with any questions I have regarding my dental insurance. Thank you so much, The Dental People.

Our family has gone to him for several years and he has seen us thru several procedures. Dr. Sui is the best of the best and hires the best people to work on his team. Kind, knowledgeable, and friendly. I wish he was also an M.D. We would go to him for all our medical needs. I gave him 5 star but he deserves 10.

The staff were nice and easygoing. Dr. Siu and his assistant provided great cleaning services, and noticed glaring cavities that my previous dentist had missed. Great service. I also liked that the staff still mask and have HEPA filters. I felt very safe as someone with immunocompromised family members.

This office is so calm as soon as you enter through the door. I had the privilege of working with Dr. Sui’s brother and Valerie and they were superb. Always asking if everything feels okay and sharing expertise!

They started good but then they started to continuously talks about how much time they spent on their education and using this to try to upsell. I came for simple procedure and they were pushing for more treatment saying that they did not study so long in university to do simple procedures. I understand and appreciate it but if I do not need more procedures to make money out of me either accept or decline service and I will go to a different place. Also not child friendly clinic

Dr. Sui is incredible! My 15 year old daughter had a nightmare experience getting her shots for school at 9 years old. She has a severe phobia of needles and anything invasive. There were 5 nurses who held her down to get her vaccinations for school. On top of a fear of needles, now we have a fear of doctors. We went to a dentist that told us she HAD to have her baby teeth taken out, and it had to be now (she was 12). They scared her to death. She refused to go back to the dentist. I finally got her back thinking that all the baby teeth were gone. They were not. She still had one that needed to be removed. She broke down. Because I am a rule follower and the other dentist was insistent that it had to come out, I kept trying to get it done b/c the previous dentist said she had to. Dr. Sui saw her anxiety and knew that she was petrified. He called me a few days later and told me not to. It was not worth her stress and anxiety and making her afraid of the dentist by forcing her. He said to wait. About 6 months later, my daughter expressed interest in getting braces, we finally approached the topic. She and I knew it would have to be done under sedation. After consulting with Dr. Sui, we decided on a plan that assured her that she would not receive a needle, that he would do everything he could to make her feel safe. She said yes. It WORKED!!! She went through two major procedures in three weeks, including several fillings, one incredibly deep - and the tooth extraction. He made sure that she did not go through too much, he took account of her emotions and gave her time and space to make the choice for herself. For the first time in 15 years, I can see a way for her to finish her vaccinations (we have gotten excused because of her phobia), and she is looking forward to braces/invisalign. This would not have happened without the care of Dr. Sui. I cannot recommend him higher. This was a tough situation that we waited 5 years to fix - and he did it. On the day of her second procedure - she said she was scared -- of giggling too much. She was giggly under the sedation...! It was the greatest thing I heard. Thank you, Dr. Sui!

I don’t really write reviews, but I had to share my experience with Dr. Siu and his team. I have been coming to see Dr Siu for several years and have been very happy with my familys care here. What makes him different is that he actually cares to listen and takes time to assess my dental problems. I have always felt comfortable with his recommendations. My last few dentist before finding Dr Siu weren’t so great. Others in past always seemed in a hurry and quick to recommend the root canals and implant options. if every tooth ache needs a canal or an implant then I wouldn’t have the beautiful and affordable smile i have now. I’m happy to have found this place because I knew I needed a lot of work and Dr. Siu spent the time to come up with several dental plans to get me healthy again. I spent a lot of time reading a lot of reviews of all the dentist near me, but was touched by many of his meaningful reviews. Dr. Siu is very genuine, gentle and experienced. My mother in law recommended their practice for only me but after meeting Dr. Sui and seeing how welcoming they were when I brought my then three year old, I moved my whole family over to them. I had many really awful experiences at the dentist growing up which always made me very nervous going to the dentist as an adult. I have had some pretty good dentists in my 40 yrs. In Katy, but it wasn’t until I went to the Dental People and met Dr. Siu until I was totally at ease about my dental appointments. Most have been routine cleanings, but I have also done several crowns and a night guard. He is kind, gentle, personable and knowledgeable. I have had very traumatic experiences with dentists since being a child. However, my experience with the dental people has been amazing. The staff is very courteous and Dr. Siu is very patient and spaces out his appts to ensure he can dedicate each patient the necessary time without rushing through procedures and ensuring the patient is thoroughly anesthetized. I truly appreciate his patience, bedside manners, and understanding of the fear some may have do to past experience! For reference the dr redid 5 fillings on me that were done incorrectly.

I rarely write reviews for anything, but I really want to recognize Dr. Siu and his great team! Dr. Siu is the best dentist I have ever met. I have major dental anxiety and teeth that have needed a lot of work. Before my first appointment, he called me to talk about what things made me uncomfortable and some treatment options. After my conversation with him, I felt so much better about my future visit. I have had to return numerous times to work through my dental treatment plan, bit by bit. It is obviously by the care that I have always gotten, that he genuinely cares for his patients and wants them to be completely comfortable with the treatment plan. He seems to be gifted in working with people who are terrified of the dentist. As a bonus, he is a bit witty, as well. Overall, my experience with the wonderful staff of the dental people has been positive. The best way that I could describe every visit is ‘personal.’ Every staff member says hello, asks about my child or a personal detail they remember, etc. The environment is intentionally ‘warm’ and welcoming. I have told many people about how much I love and TRUST my dentist and the great office staff. I appreciate all that they do! If you struggle with dental anxiety, I can’t recommend Dr. Siu and the Dental People enough! He is the best!

The BEST dentist in the Houston area!! I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Siu and his staff. I have always had issues being numbed and developed a strong fear of the dentist because of this. Dr. Siu believed me and took seriously how easily I could feel the pain. He set up multiple appointments for me so that I could have my teeth done in shorter sessions instead of all at once. He tried multiple ways to numb me until we were successful in getting my mouth completely numbed! He is gentle and always asks if I am ok during the procedure. He really takes the time and cares about his patients. For the first time in 12 plus years I have no pain or tooth sensitivity! If you feel the way I used to, you no longer need to be afraid of the dentist! I highly highly recommend The Dental People for the entire family!

Dr Siu has to be the best dentist I've ever had, and I've been around for while. We live in Cypress, but it's well worth the drive to have such an upstanding man taking care of your teeth - not to mention a great dentist. Trustworthy professional and respectful of your needs. They always make you feel welcome. They know how to handle the insurance companies too. He and his team are very thorough - never once have a received a bill after a visit that his team did not take care of. I first started going there by chance after a crown had broken and their office was close to my employer at the time. I'm so glad we found Dr. Siu, my whole family goes there now, even my daughter who is married and they live in The Woodlands. Can't say enough good things about the team, I've been through some pretty bad experiences before finding Dr. Siu., so he was a definite answer to prayer. I can't say going to the dentist is my #1 choice of things to do, but Dr. Siu sure makes it a whole lot easier. :-)

I needed to take my wisdom tooth out and I was very stressed about the procedure. However, the experience was very different from what I was expecting. It took less than an hour from the moment I got to the dentist office. They walk me trough the procedure and explained everything including what I needed to do after. I felt very secure that I was able to contact him during the off hours in case that I needed something. Dr. Siu and the office staff did an amazing job!

We came to this place based on the reviews. My husband had let a dental problem progress due to fear and a lack of professionals who offered sedation and the care he trusted. Dr. Siu recognized the situation from the start, suggested the treatment, and looked for a way to make it as painless and simple as possible for us, without trauma or pain. My husband's entire recovery has been excellent, just as he explained. The entire staff is super professional and friendly. I must highlight the treatment from Dennys, who supported us with all the explanations and the optimal use of insurance. In short, we are grateful to everyone and we highly recommend them!

Best group of dentist and staff. They care about your dental wellness! When I started I had issues with my gum and a year later my gum and teeth were healthy again. The best part the prices was reasonable and I didn’t have to pay much out of pocket.

I met Dr. Siu because of an emergency I had three days before my trip to Europe. Dr. Siu saw me without an appointment, listened carefully, examined me, and diagnosed me with something new to me: migraines. He prescribed the appropriate medication, and I was able to enjoy my vacation without any problems. A couple of weeks ago, my ENT suggested I see a dentist for an ear problem. I went to Dr. Siu to treat temporomandibular joint tendinitis, and he suggested removing my wisdom teeth. I scheduled the appointment for a Saturday, and the extraction was very simple and uncomplicated. I am very grateful to Dr. Siu for his professionalism and to his staff for their kindness and excellent service.

They are consistently good and we have never once had a bad experience from cleanings, to cavities filled, and braces. They are professional but friendly and take care to make sure everything is explained properly. Also very clean with a comfortable waiting room and a play room for the kids.

I had to leave a review because my children all said so many nice things about TheDentalPeople. When I told my boy that we had to go to the dentist, I didn’t expect to hear this from him. Especially him being the one always complaining. “Is it the one with the PacMan game?” My daughters were talking about who they thought was nicer. My mom recommended that I come here and I'm SO glad she did! I had a dentist PRIOR to coming here who couldn't figure out why I was having a tooth pain even after x-rays. He told me there were no cavities but he was going to do a root canal that would cost me about $2k out of pocket. Thankfully I listened to my momma and came to the Dental People for a second opinion. Dr. Siu is absolutely incredible! He's so kind and friendly and understanding and cutting edge! He thinks outside of the box and has outstanding attention to detail. Dr. Siu and his staff went above and beyond to care for my 83 yr old mom. She needed multiple extractions, and other extensive work to get implant supported dentures. After consulting MANY other dentists, Dr. Siu was the ONLY one to come up with a personalized plan for her. He worked with her until her new teeth were just right, and also worked with our budget. She was not an easy case, and I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Siu and his whole staff!! We will be patients for life! I want to add-they all were so very kind and warm to my mom (and me). Thank you, Dr. Siu-my mom has her beautiful smile back, and the ability to eat without being self-conscious-after 7 years because of you and your team.

So, let me start by saying The Dental People is the BEST dentist's office on the planet! Trust me, I would know! I was born with an issue that caused me to need extensive dental work plus braces, ugh! It was horrible! Each dental visit was more painful and unpleasant than the last. My experiences were so awful that I just stopped going to the dentist at all, it was really bad. Fast forward to 2018, I broke a tooth that then got infected and I was in so much pain couldn't eat, sleep, or barely speak. I found the Dental People on Google. I called and they took me the same day! Chelsea (she's the receptionist & my personal HERO) said, I can tell you're hurting, I'll work you in! (So, sweet)! I figured it would cost an arm & a leg because I don't have dental coverage. But i didn't care because i was in excruciating pain. So, I get there and everyone is so nice. Dr. Sui is AMAZING! Then, it was time to pay... $59 bucks! That was it!! I had to go back 2 weeks later for oral surgery, same story. No pain, I watched Netflix during the entire procedure and even though I was paying out of pocket, the cost was less than taking my family out to a nice dinner. If you need to see a dentist and you've been avoiding it because you've had bad experiences in the past, or you're afraid of pain, or you're afraid of the cost, NO WORRIES! Go to THE DENTAL PEOPLE, you'll be so happy that you did!

They were very patient with my son. While i was filling out paperwork they allowed my son to be in their play room. The service was friendly and the dentist was very sweet, attentive, had a game plan for my son and was very patieny for him to get comfortable with him. Such an amazing group of people work here. Everyone is super nice and reassuring. They are always thinking about their customers needs. Their office is immaculately clean and neat. They have a play room for kids, that has a mini arcade machine in it.

I highly recommend this clinic to anyone and everyone, but especially if you are at all apprehensive about the dentist. I initially made the appointment with Chelsea for my husband, who was terrified to come in. She alone put me at ease for him by assuring me she would make sure the staff was aware of his anxiety and would take great care with him. This place is amazing! I dont have enough words to describe how great the staff and the doctor are. My mom suffers from anxiety and she gets a lot of panic atacks. She needed major dental work done and here the doctor was so patient, explained everything very detailed. Gloria was an angel sent our way. She is so calm and understanding. My mom was cold and Gloria even offered to get a blanket and lower the AC for her. This place was incredible!! I highly recommend this place to anyone .

I have never been a fan of dentist, (I mean, who is?) but after coming to Dr. Siu and his staff for an emergency tooth infection, I quickly realized this was my new dentist. Not only was the staff absolutely professional and amazing (Angie, Gloria, Noel and Abby are the Bomb!!) but Dr. Siu is extremely patient with me (Im a huge cry baby with dentist fears) and willing to work with you. I don't have insurance so this was helpful! I've been going to them for a few months now for some serious dental work and am greeted with a smile and friendliness every time! The staff took great care to ensure that I was taken care of in all aspects of my visit! Dr Siu worked on my broken tooth and was assisted by Ms. Abby as I was given wonderful, pain-free care. I am terrified of the dentist and have put off going for a long time. I had been having trouble with my ear and then my tooth started killing me so my husband sent me to Dr. Sui. The best thing my husband has ever done for me. Come to find out it was a bad wisdom tooth causing all my problems. I had to have it pulled. After my initial visit for the exam we set the appointment. I decided to have all of them pulled so I would not have to do this again. Dr. Sui pulled three of my wisdom teeth while I was completely conscious but I never felt a thing. He and his staff are so compassionate and caring. I will never go to anyone else and neither should you. :)

Honestly the best dentistry i have ever been to. They cares about the people that walk through his door. If you have am emergency like i had. I literally had a tooth explode and pain short of chewing on a sadering iron. The office and Dr. John Siu made it a point to get me in to extract the tooth. Dr Siu, I don’t know how to thank you enough. I woke up with a a painful lump under my chin and had hard time swallowing, we went to a nearby dentist, they said its my infected wisdom teeth. But they didn’t have an availability to remove it. So i called other dentist to have it removed sooner. Thats when i found Dr. Siu. He gave me a same day appointment. And after an through exam he found out that i was misdiagnosed, and that i the more important problem is a salivary gland infection, he referred me to an oral surgeon and even call the surgeons himself to get a sooner appointment since my infection was really bad. He could have just remove my wisdom teeth charge me hundreds of dollars and send me away but he didn’t. He is a genuine person. Thank you Dr. Siu

This is the best Dental place I've ever been to. First the staff, is very professional but friendly that it feels almost familiar when you come in. Second, the dentist in this place has the lightest hands you will ever find. He makes the visit as painless as a visit could possibly be. I am so happy that I tried Dr Siu! I went while having a dental emergency and needed a root canal. Those are never fun, but it was quick and painless. He also explained in detail his plan for addressing other dental issues that needed to be addressed. I have been fighting a number of cavities since childhood and I am alway anxious and scared when I do go to the dentist. The one thing that made me feel at ease was...he understood my story. He did not try to shame me or make me feel like I take horrible care of my teeth. He understood that I had a bad start and have being doing maintenance ever since. I really appreciate that.
