From scheduling to the procedure, Songbird Pediatric has been wonderful. Clearly communicated arrival time, pre op instructions, kept me informed of treatment plan while at the clinic, and post op instructions. Communication was absolutely the best. The clinic is clean and kid friendly, the atmosphere is professional and fun. Every person I encountered working there was friendly and informative.

We absolutely love this dentist office, the entire staff is kind and helpful, and they all are very thoughtful and fun with the kids! Knowledgeable doctor and clean facility!

The staff at Songbird is by far top quality. They are so down to earth and friendly. They will help in any way possible and go above and beyond to make the patient and family comfortable. I followed Dr. Barnes from another clinic Abe am so happy I did. My kids love her and she has done everything possible to take care of my son with special needs. Overall my child had a great experience with the staff, they were kind, friendly and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars was due to billing, from my understanding they use a 3rd party biller and while the staff did what they could to answer my questions it would have been so much easier if they had someone in house . I also overheard other parents with questions and having similar issues . I understand for a newer business it can be more cost effective but hopefully it’s something that they will reconsider in the future.

We recently switched dentists to Songbird and it was hands down the best decision! The ladies here are wonderful, patient and kind. My youngest is 4 and nonverbal autistic. Teeth brushing has always been difficult. His previous dentist didn't even attempt an exam and immediately recommended sedation dentistry. After hearing multiple recommendations for Songbird, I gave them a call and was able to get both of my boys scheduled quickly. They were absolutely AMAZING with both of them, but especially with my youngest! I found out the dentist actually has a son on the spectrum and the hygienist was previously a behavioral coach! They were able to do an exam and somewhat of a cleaning ? and we didn't leave in tears!!! He was so happy and we felt very welcomed! We are very glad to have such a wonderful dentist so close! Thank you all so much for making this experience a pleasant one!!

My boys were nervous about seeing a new dentist (we had been with Dr Buzz for 5 years and had never seen anyone else) but by the time we were done at Songbird my boys were saying our new dentist was better than the old! The staff was personable and respectful. I was asked if I was comfortable with the show on the TV in the room. I felt comfortable asking questions of Dr Barnes. I never felt any condescension about asking why or asking about insurance coverage. My oldest who hates the fluoride treatment said Songbird fluoride was much better and he could handle it. Cannot recommend Songbird enough!

This place is SO good our daughter wants to come back and get her teeth worked on! Willingly and excitedly! That's unheard of! She hasn't had to use laughing gas once while getting fillings! They don't push fluoride if you dont want it. Not only is the Dr Dentist extraordinary at what she does with these youngins her staff are the best! They make the best combo! They offer all kinds of services! They are so good with the children and the parents to! They had me cracking up!! 10 out of 10 would highly recommend this place. We're so grateful they exist. There's nowhere else quite like this place. Our daughter likes to show up real earlier just to play in the front room with all the toys. They even got an office puppy!! Treasures for the kids on the way out! Tooth box for a loose tooth! Need I say more?!?

This has been the best experience ever!! Our original pediatric dentist wanted to remove adult teeth due to cavities and when I reached out to songbird she reviewed his X-rays and was able to just do fillings so we drove over 3 hours to see them. The staff is the absolutely incredible. I would recommend to anyone and everyone with kids!

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST! MEDICAID FRAUD ALERT!!! Stated my child had 7 cavities. Took him to two other dentist neither were able to find even 1. Please stay away from this place. She is committing Medicaid fraud. I have reported her to the appropriate entities.

Everyone here are so welcoming and friendly. All of the ladies make you feel like you’re treated like family and I believe that is what helps my son be as comfortable as he is here. We love this office. ❤️

We went to Songbird for TinyTies to get our sons tongue and lip tie fixed and the experience was wonderful! All the girls were so nice, polite and made you feel so comfortable. The facility is so cute and very clean! The doctor is very knowledgeable, caring and great bedside manner. 10 out of 10 recommend!!

First couple times were fine. Had an appointment yesterday and when we got there they said the dentist was not in, she was at her Nashville location. They said someone "should" have contacted us to reschedule. Good thing we don't live too far away and we had some shopping to do anyway. We went in the next day and had to wait near an hour past my child's appointment. The exam went well with the nurse but when the dentist was supposed to come in and check my childs teeth at the end, we had to wait 20 minutes. Then she came in and was out within a minute. She couldn't have stopped whatever she was doing and gotten to us sooner? *Hit or miss here. *They are nice but SLOW.

Absolutely amazing

Taking your child this dentist will feel more like taking your child to your sisters. Dr. Barnes spent so much time with us both on the phone and in person to ensure my comfort level and my child’s. Though the clinic was busy with several other families, I’d never have known based on the time, attention to detail and kindness she showed us. 11/10 recommend to as many families as possible!

They fit her in quickly and did the procedure that day due to an opening. Dr. Barnes was so kind, thorough and just lovely. All the staff were very kind too. Oh and the office is so cute! Would make any child feel comfortable. Highly recommend.

Absolute 5 stars from the moment we walked to the moment we waked out. Having two young boys on the spectrum it’s always nerve wracking going into the unknown and doctors appointments. The waiting room was a sensory dream, the staff was patient and so understanding of my boys needs. We felt so at home. Thank you for treating my boys with so much respect and kindness!

We love everything about Songbird! My kids had a terrible experience at another dentist previously and it really scarred them. They no longer complain about going to the dentist! They love everything about it. The entire staff is so polite, so kind, and so patient. They are truly a God send. Every one of them! My oldest has had 2 procedures done on 2 different days. In his own words, he said how much he loved the dentist, how much he loved that they kept asking him if he was ok, they told him if something hurt to let him know and they would try not to do it again. He has severe dentist scaries so this is a huge deal for him! We are so thankful that we stumbled upon Songbird!

Songbird Pediatric Dentistry is amazing!! My 3 month old daughter needed to have her tongue and lip clipped, and this place did an amazing job. They are very thorough and comforting. Every staff I interacted with was very sweet and kind, and they all had a smile on their face. They all were so positive!! They made sure we were comfortable with my daughters care before we left; then they checked in on us at night, and gave us their cell phone number in case we had questions or needed help throughout the night and weekends. The facility is extremely clean and adorable. The moment we walked in, we felt a sense of calmness. I am very happy I chose Songbird for my daughter’s care.

We LOVE it here!! The office is very clean, the staff is very friendly! My kids love the toys they have to play with while waiting, and there are so many cool sensory ones in the actual rooms!! My son was in heaven when he was offered a weighted blanket while he was having his teeth worked on! And there's a toy wall the kids get to pick from when they are all finished with their visit! I 100 percent recommend bringing your kids to Songbird Pediatric Dentistry ?

The minute we walked in my son was overjoyed (which is not a term I could ever use when it comes to taking him to appointments) the waiting room was geared toward kids of all abilities. My son loved the sensory tiles! I was a little apprehensive when we were called back, as routine dental care had never been easy for my son, but that apprehension quickly faded when we were met with smiling compassionate faces. Dr. Barnes and her staff took the time to get to know my son. They explained and showed everything to him before doing anything. They really are great at getting on your child’s level and responding to their needs while not pressuring your child. Dr.Barnes was very thorough and explained all of our treatment options in detail. We are so glad to have had Songbird recommended to us and are actually looking forward to our next appointment. Thank you to Dr. Barnes and her staff.

Hey there! So I'm just your average first-time mom freaking out over finding the perfect docs for my mini-me. So, my little guy came into the world with a stage 3 tongue tie and lip tie - yay, right? We got sent to a 'local' dentist after leaving the hospital, and let's just say the first place was a total disaster. BUT, we hit the jackpot with Songbird! This place is like the unicorn of doctor's offices. Everyone there makes you feel like you're part of the family, especially DR. Barnes. She's like the superhero of patience with my tiny human, making sure his smile is on point for all his future selfies. And the staff? Absolutely phenomenal. They've got this vibe that makes you feel like you're the only one in the world. Special shoutout to Caitlin, the EFDA, who goes above and beyond. She's like a kid whisperer or something, making sure my little dude is all smiles and no tears. Plus, he loves picking out toys and charming all the ladies in the office. Walking in there is like being part of a big hug, thanks to Mandi at the front desk. I've lost count of how many times I've recommended this place. It's seriously the best out there!

My son has a disability and they were communicative, informative, had amazing bedside manner, and did an incredible job on his recent dental work. He has had a smooth recovery all thanks to Dr. Barnes’ gentle hand and precision.

Honestly one of the worst experiences I have had at a medical practice…while the receptionist was very sweet, just about everything else sucked. We waited for 30 almost 45 minutes to be seen for a 5 minute consultation. The nurse asked what my baby’s symptoms were while holding the chart I just spent time filling out with all kinds of symptom info. Then she brought in Dr. Nick. I’m sorry but this man should have retired 20 years ago. He could barely keep a sentence flowing and either couldn’t hear what we were saying or was just a terrible listener. I’m sure Dr Barnes is a lot better based on the other reviews I’ve read. We won’t be back to find out though.

Dr. Barnes is so gentle and kind. She takes her time and makes sure the kiddos are comfortable and calm. Her assistant Katelyn is our favorite! My kiddos have never loved the dentist until we changed to Songbird Pediatric Dentist. Even better, it’s local!

I did not feel comfortable here. I came because it was recommended on my local FB moms page. I feel like all the staff and front desk wanted me to do was bash my prior pediatric dentist online. Something didn't feel right. I will not be returning.

This place is a gift from God. My daughters Nana has poor health and did not get her to Dickson Pediatrics for a visit (while I was working). When I called to make her an appointment the other day they informed me that she was kicked out of their office due to the missed appointment. They dismissed my explanation and when I asked of we could come back after a probationary period they said "no". For the rest of her life she is banned due to a missed appointment.... they punished a child who can't control getting to their appointments.. I'm not trying to bash them but that is harsh. My daughter is 12 years old and she's on the spectrum. That was her dentist her entire life. This was a blessing in disguise ... thankfully that closed door simply opened a much better one! I felt so genuinely welcomed by every single staff member. They all have such a happy expression and their joy and kindness is contagious. This is exactly what we needed and I am so grateful. I couldn't keep my praise report to myself! Thank you Dr. Barnes, Mandy, and all the rest.. after a couple more visits I will have all of the names mentally programmed ?

This is one of the friendliest staffed places I've ever been. They were quick to get my daughter in for a cleaning and made sure to address any concerns. Definitely did not feel rushed, but I was in and out within 35 minutes. I'd recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a pediatric dentist.

The receptionist (sorry I forgot your name) was welcoming and friendly upon entering. Lexi the hygienist was amazing! My daughter said she did a great job and didn't cause any pain when she was cleaning. She answered all questions that were asked and had a pleasant demeanor. Dr. Barnes was professional, attentive and very informative. MaKenna was also amazing talking my daughter through the sealant process. Two thumbs up!

Dr. Barnes is wonderful!! All of the Songbird staff that I interacted with was amazing. They were also great with the kids. They were able to work us in when my grand son's tooth hurt. Dr. Barnes also specializes in tongue and lip ties and was able to fix that for him as well. I wish I could give them more stars!

I had to find a new dentist due to change in insurance. I went through 2 before I found Songbird. Dr. Barnes is AMAZING! She did really well with my kids. Came up with a dental plan that wasn't all about profit. She pointed out things that no one had ever caught. Including a tongue tie that even Vanderbilt Speech Therapy missed. I am very thankful I found this office! I highly recommend.

Songbird Pediatric Dentistry was recommended by my primary dentist for my 4 year old. The team was very welcoming and helpful in her first dentist appointment. I wanted the first appointment to be positive so that her future dentist needs will be welcomed with open arms. Dr. Barnes and her entire staff are wonderful! They are very communicative and actually discuss different treatment options. Dr. Barnes and her staff create a warm and welcoming environment which is great in general, but especially great for young children who may be visiting the dentist for the first time ever. We will definitely be returning.
