You’re greeted with a smile- they know and remember everything about you- down to the details of your child’s life stages happenings. For the last few visits have been nothing but to fix the partial denture which is causing the pain. Every time it is grinded a little but and then charge $65 for office visit! One would think if the denture doesn't fit in properly it would be corrected and fixed and not charged for every trip!
Hi this is Dr. Patel- we do adjust partials at no cost (especially when they are first delivered or within the first few weeks of partial denture delivery). This partial was delivered in February (it's now November) and looking through your chart- this was the first adjustment we've done on that lower partial. The $65 charge was actually for the examination not the adjustment of the partial. Your insurance unfortunately only covers 2 exams per year (you've had 4 total already) which is why you had to pay out of pocket at this visit. We have not been charging $65 for partial adjustments after reviewing the account on your chart. I know we spoke on the phone earlier today and we clarified this but if you have any more questions let us know. Thank you.

I usually do not go out of my way to write these but I had an amazing experience with this practice. I had to get a wisdom tooth pulled and was very anxious about it. Can I say that I had ZERO pain. Dr. Patel and staff made sure I was comfortable. I have a 3 month old mini dachshund who was to have a petsitter but she canceled. I called SolidSmiles to let them know I can’t come in because of this and they said if he’s able to stay on my lap then bring him. When I got there they offered to bring him to an office until I was done. They really do care about you and show it. I had PTSD from my last dentist visit and hadn’t had a checkup in awhile. I will definitely be getting my regulars and other work done here! Highly recommend.

Tv is available, seat is comfortable and most importantly they dont make you feel bad about your current dental status. I hadnt seen a Dentist in a while and they didnt make me feel bad for this instead they explained how we can improve the health of my teeth moving forward. - Cant forget to mention they offer Chapstick before starting any procedure! - Last but not least accept my insurance and care credit! ? November Update: Im so grateful I found this office! Dr. Patel is such a sweetheart and I love her team. I had an emergency that created issues with my appointment in October but Dr. Patel was very kind and helpful to allow me to reschedule my fillings appointment to a time that worked with my schedule. I appreciate that they TRULY take care of their patients. Emma even noted the show I was watching on my first visit so they could play it again during my follow up! After my fillings, I was having sensitivity issues and they were SO QUICK to get me in and resolve this! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! ? I’ve recommended this dental office to everyone I know!

I hadn’t been to the dentist in over ten years, so I was really worried. The staff from beginning to end made me feel comfortable and didn’t make me feel bad for not being able to visit a dentist recently. They did a great job explaining the different scans and imagining and made me feel included in what they were doing. The technology in this spot was incredible. I was so impressed the entire time. I don't know how you can love coming to the dentist but Solid Smiles staff has a way of making you not only comfortable but also as a part of their family. It took several fails to find the right dentist and hygenist yet I finally found it here. Even the front desk clerk, Micaela is awesome to work with. Billing and payment process is seamless as well. Edit for your response: FDA-approved surgical masks, even Level 3s, are not guaranteed to filter the same degree of fine aerosols as N95 or F3502-type masks. Certified Level 3 masks are tested against particles 600 nm (0.6 microns) in diameter, around 10 times the size of the particles used in the N95/F3502 test. There’s now plenty of evidence that shows COVID can spread via much smaller particles than the kind surgical masks are designed to protect against. In one case, a popular FDA-approved Level 3 mask that scored 92% prior to fit testing, dropped to 77% when measured to account for fit. In another case, a well-known Level 3 mask that surpassed 90% on a materials-only basis filtered only 11% of particulate matter when worn by a real human being. Covid can also spread asymptomatically which is why I take the extra precaution. I asked for a reasonable accommodation and was refused. I ask for these same reasonable accommodations when I go to my healthcare appointments and they do accommodate me when asked. Considering a dentist is much closer to your mouth, nose and eyes for an extended period of time, YOU of all people should be more understanding when a disabled patient asks you to wear a N95. I didn’t ask your whole staff to wear one. I asked if you and the hygienist who would be working in my mouth for an extended period of time if you could wear one. It’s sad that you use your disabled family members as an excuse to your own lack of care. This is clearly a systemic issue and you saying, well they’re doing it this way so I will continue to do it this way too isn’t a sufficient or acceptable answer. Pointing out how healthcare facilities have abandoned immunocompromised and vulnerable patients doesn’t make your case for refusing a reasonable accommodation. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I’ve been delaying coming in for a cleaning because I’m immunocompromised with long covid. Over 20,000 people have died from Covid just this year, 5 months into 2024. The CDC does not care about Covid anymore. The CDC does not care about the millions living with long covid or those vulnerable and high risk. Clearly Dr Patel also doesn’t care either. It’s one thing to say you no longer wear N95s and will follow CDC guidelines which no longer exist, it’s another to refuse reasonable accommodations which goes against the ADA. You don’t have N95s in your office anymore? Cool, that’s fine. I offer to bring in N95s on my dime and Dr Patel still would not accept that. I used to think this dentist was different from other dental practices in that they make it seem like they care about their patients, but you won’t even make reasonable accommodations for your disabled patients? Your disabled patients deserve care and reasonable accommodations to be able to safely access healthcare and dental care. Yes, covid levels are low right now which is why I was okay with coming in tomorrow, but being told you wouldn’t accommodate just changing the kind of mask you wear so I’m able to feel more comfortable is incredibly disheartening.
Hi, this is Dr. Patel. I want to start by saying I’m sorry you feel this way. I do have first hand experience with disabled and immune compromised patients- aka my own family members. They have multiple doctor appointments a week and numerous hospital visits- in the last year, not once has an N95 been standard protocol in the hospital or physicians offices where there are tons of sick, immune compromised people. I am not blind to the fact that immune compromised and disabled patients require certain accommodations. We follow ADA Guidelines in our facility, wear Level 3 masks, keep a sterile and clean environment while treating all patients equally. I care for my patients like I would care for my own family. I’m sorry you feel the way you do but we cannot force anyone to wear an N95 in our office. We certainly wish you the best in finding the right office that can fit your needs. Thank you.

Had my first experience here. They did a wonderful job confirm the appointment with me, multiple times. A text and an email reminder. The space was very clean, and all the ladies there were super friendly and greeted me with a smile. They were VERY detailed with my x-rays and pictures. That part did take about 30 minutes. But they only do it once a year, and it’s covered by my insurance. My dental hygienist was super general. I almost didn’t feel a thing. They also took the time to show me my pictures and x-rays, educate me on what they were looking for, and worked with my schedule.

5-star experience from booking to checkout. Knowledgeable and friendly staff are hard to find but they all seem to be working here. Office staff confirms your appointment and will even text you the morning of, if they are able to get you in sooner. A very short wait in the lobby, so short you don’t have much time to enjoy how aesthetically pleasing the front office is. Once you’re taken back, you’re greeted with updated and high-tech equipment and X-rays from the dental chair. The hygienist was professional and very kind. She offered me chapstick, the remote and sunglasses to make the experience more comfortable. Before she’s finished she will make sure you don’t have any issues with the cleaning or general concerns. Dr. Patel is very sweet and knowledgeable. Instead of explaining my concerns once again, the hygienist naturally jumps in and explains in depth where I can chime in again as needed. It’s the little things that make the experience exceptional. Lastly, a quick checkout where I received questions to ask my new dental plan to verify coverage benefits before enrollment. Such a thoughtful and pleasant experience! 10/10 recommend. I won’t be going anywhere else.

Where do I start with how amazing this crew is? They have not only made me feel welcome and safe because let’s be honest, no one wants to go to the dentist, they also crack jokes while telling me I should have flossed more lol. Sweet and compassionate about my dental health they also provide services for those of us who cannot afford health insurance let alone dental care. They also listen to your needs. I’m allergic to sunflower oil which is in the chapstick, which they sweetly apply to your lips after a stream of water and air engulf your mouth while cleaning, but have in their records not to use. I’ve only been elated with my experience! My gums are healthier regardless of my attempts to have my gums and teeth be mad at me, what can I say? I party. Thank you solid smiles for taking care of me and listening to my needs and for suggesting the best course of action based on my comfortability and wallet.

Finding a dentist tops my list of things I hate to do... right under actually going to one. But since I eat candy like a main food group and was tired of wasting my dental insurance by not going in for a cleaning year after year, I decided to look for someone relatively near my house with good reviews. After combing through tons of reviews on Google, I stumbled across solidSMILES dental which luckily is only a few minutes from my house Everyone there is so friendly and I'm beyond thankful that I found this dentistry. Dr. Patel and the hygenists are always warm and welcoming which completely takes out the anxiety of going to the dentist. A bonus is that they have tvs to watch while you get a cleaning. Every time I have gone to the dentist before finding solidSMILES, it felt like those companies were always trying to sell me something more (such as the place claiming they make "sexy teeth" wanting me to get a root canal when all I needed was a cavity filling). But at solidSMILES I never feel like I'm dealing with a salesman. I get great service and now I actually don't mind going to the dentist! If you're looking for a new dentist, DEFINITELY give solidSMILES a try! Hands down the best dentist I have been too and I really hope I never move... because I would hate to not be able to come here for my cleanings!

She was super helpful and informative to get me in for the exam and cleaning. Sharon was my awesome hygienist and she made me feel at ease the entire time. (I've had some traumatic dental experiences before). She was very understanding of my sensitivity and very gentle throughout my deep cleaning process! I then saw Dr. Patel who was also very kind and friendly. She recommended Invisalign to me and explained in detail what I needed for my fillings on my 2nd visit. I absolutely love Dr. Patel and her staff at Solid Smiles! My two boys also are perfectly comfortable there. I was nervous leaving our pediatric dentist but Dr. Patel is so caring and gentle (and my boys Love watching Netflix while they have work done!) we felt perfectly at ease. My younger also appreciates the cool treasure chest of toys she has. Her practice is up to date and being able to communicate scheduling changes and emergencies via text is so convenient. I had a temporary crown come off in the middle of the night and I texted the office and got a very quick response, and was able to come in first thing in the morning before I went to work and it was ultra convenient and I didn’t have to miss any work. Dr. Patel has a great personality and is gentle and thorough. She answers all my questions and curiosities I have about teeth and oral care! She never makes me feel silly for all the things I ask. I also really appreciate her dental savings plan, myself and my kids all have it. It took care of our preventative care and 2 cleanings a year, it really gave me peace of mind when i was with out dental insurance. Definitely recommend SOLID SMILES!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have never ever felt comfortable at a dentist until I came to Dr. Patel. Not only is she the sweetest, but she talks to you and advises you like you're family. She explains every procedure with so much of her vast knowledge, is so real about her advice, and takes good care of you. Not only her, but her staff is amazing. Edit: Going through the Invisalign process and it has been phenomenal. My teeth look great! The rating stands. This is your future dentist. Your search for the perfect dentist stops here. First visit impressions below. This office is easy to access from the road and is clean top to bottom. Smells pleasant and not like a normal dentist office. Entertainment available in the front room (Jack Sparrow for me). I got called back and the hygienist gave me a run down of what my first visit would be and asked if I had any concerns. I received a full x-ray from a cool machine that sang to me and gave me instructions while it worked. Afterwards, I sat in the exam room chair and received a full color 3d scan of my teeth. The office uses this scan year over year to determine and highlight any change. Normal pictures followed. In depth explanation of everything shown to you via the TV mounted to the wall. Next was a pick test of the separation of my gums from my teeth. Very detailed, and no pain at all. Explanation was given of any possible issues. Next up. They use a high powered water stream to clean your teeth. No scraping, prodding, or poking. NO PAIN. Ryan Reynolds smiling at me from the TV mounted to the ceiling from the chair. Hygienist kindly suctioning water often so I don't choke. Light pick use afterwards for tough areas. Quick. NO PAIN or discomfort. Usual paste and rinse afterwards. Very lightly done. Good banter (and Ryan Reynolds overhead) all around. Very professional Doctor to cap the visit off and answer any questions. Can't offer enough praise!

I went to Solid Smiles for a tooth extraction that I had been putting off going for years because I was so terrified of the procedure but the tooth kept getting infected and I had no choice. I did some research and found Solid Smiles and saw all the amazing reviews they had. From the first phone call to walking out the door after my surgery(I ended up needing two teeth side by side extracted); this team exceeded any expectations I had or hoped for. They were not only pleasant and knowledgeable but most importantly, their bedside manner was the best I've ever experienced by any doctor in my entire life . I was so scared and Dr Patel and her team were so comforting. She talked me through the whole procedure and kept offering words of assurance throughout. The procedure was practically painless and weirdly almost enjoyable. They had a comforting atmosphere, presence, there was a TV above my head for distraction, they asked me what music I'd like to hear and played it in the background and made me feel very safe in what felt like a very vulnerable moment for me and I knew that I was in the right hands. If anyone is looking for a dentist who truly loves what she does for a living and puts her patients first, go here. You won't be disappointed.

I’ve been a patient here for years and always been very happy. Service is prompt and professional. Personnel is friendly and knowledgeable. They always answer my questions fully and talk me through what they see in X-rays, especially how chemotherapy can affect teeth short and long-term. They are very conservative in treatment as well which I like. No sales pressure, they usually say ‘let’s watch this’ because it may not need treatment. Could not ask for more when visiting a dental office.

After I TERRIBLE experience with another dental office, I called Solid Smiles and was reassured there are wonderful dentists out there. Everyone at this office was beyond welcoming and wonderful. Sadly I haven’t been to the dentist in many years due to poor treatment and judgement in the past. That was definitely not the case here at Solid Smiles. First off I loved the ease of setting up my appointment as well as filling out all paperwork online before my appointment. As soon as I arrived I was greeted by Sierra she was really nice and made me feel welcome. Christie my hygienist was one of the most amazing people I’ve ever encountered. She took the time to listen to me and my concerns and really put my mind at ease. I loved the fact that my X-rays and scans are shown to me pretty much immediately on a huge screen and all the findings were explained to me in detail. My deep cleaning procedure went very well Christie did an excellent job and my teeth feel brand new. Oh and the best part is you get to watch Netflix the whole time your work is being done. Christie is my dental hygienist for life. Dr Patel was very nice and caring and I’m grAteful for her guidance on my future treatments. I walked into my appointment feeling so nervous and scared and walked away so happy and amazed. I actually had fun at the dentist office. It was like I spent an afternoon with new friends I would of never guessed this before!!! I look forward to going to the dentist now and staying on top of my dental health. My review is a little late but I couldn’t not write one. I was terrified to go to the dentist because it has been a while and I knew I was going to need a deep deep cleaning so I was already fearing the pain. I read the reviews for SolidSMILES and they were all wonderful so I said ok let’s give this place a shot. I am soooooo incredibly happy that I did; the location is nice and clean, the staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Patel was a dream! She did do a deep cleaning but she is so light handed and careful that I didn’t feel a thing, not a single thing. Granted my mouth was numb but a lot of the time even though I’m numb I can still feel a tinge of pain. Not with Dr. Patel she was thorough, professional, very sweet and friendly. The set up in the exam room is perfect because there’s a tv on the ceiling and they were so kind as to ask what I wanted to watch. Needless to say I’ll be back to SolidSMILES and I don’t have a single ounce of dental fear because of the amazing work that was done

My hygienist, Christie, has to be the ONLY person in the history of time and space who can actually make getting teeth cleaned an enjoyable experience! (And had some hard work to do, too.) I went to Dr. Patel only a few months ago. Her and her team were very friendly and made everything very easy. Got my consultation and x-rays done the first day and they described in great detail and showed me everything that would need to. Dr. Patel answered absolutely every question I had and made sure to explain it in way I could understand. I was really anxious about coming into the dentist because of my situation but I felt only that they were caring and understanding of everything I was going through. I feel very relaxed going here and getting my fillings done. She makes sure I'm feeling ok after every visit and check up on me. Nothing but 5 star reviews ! Dr. Patel has the most modern, cleanest and relaxing practice ever - even the facility says "We CARE for you." Stop in to just visit and you'll see. I had a really difficult wisdom tooth I needed extracted and with only a very gentle local anesthesia, Dr. Patel waited patiently till she was absolutely certain I was numbed deeply. Then after she started I'm thinking "when will she start pulling my tooth, what is she waiting for?" Then I heard Dr. Patel say with a smile, "Okay we got it." I thought, "Huh? It's out ? When - how?" I healed quickly with follow up calls and Dr. Patel even saw me again just to be sure 8 days later. I almost wish I need more work so I can go back. Yes, 5 stars over and over. Dr. Patel is why.

Dr Patel and her team are nothing short of amazing! They provided me with their undivided attention and as a new patient performed a thorough, in-depth analysis of the condition of my teeth. Dr Patel and her staff wanted to get to know me on a personal level, which in turn led to me revealing my upcoming wedding. She instantly looked for potential affordable cosmetic upgrades to ensure my teeth would look great for the wedding, and right then researched the costs after insurance to make sure it was something I could afford and would approve prior to giving me any billing scares! It’s extremely hard to find a dentist that doesn’t tell you that you have 15 cavities that need to be filled when in reality you might only have one or two. Dr.Patel really took the time to look at my teeth and evaluate each and every single one to make sure that they’re healthy and okay. Her staff was incredibly nice and the office was beautiful as well. The location was really easy to get to also! I already booked my cleaning 6 months in advance. Can’t wait to go back.

I highly recommend Dr. Patel! Dr. Patel is very thorough during the teeth cleaning process and took the time to show me where I have plaque build up on my X Rays as well as provide some insight on how to move forward for my wisdom teeth removal. At her office, there are big tv screens in the room that allows you to see the x rays they take and there’s a tv right above you playing Netflix so you can watch easily during your cleaning!

I just had my new patient consultation and cleaning and I am very happy & pleased. The ammenities are very clean, they open on Saturdays, Dr. Patel & Sierra are both very nice & friendly, so my nervousness from bad previous experiences went away fast. I have very sensitive teeth, so even a regular cleaning leaves them tender but Dr. Patel is very careful & gentle; I can honestly say this is my first pain free cleaning! She is very thorough with explaining and doing everything in detail and you get to watch your Favorite show on Netflix while you lay down down getting your teeth worked on! You get cold easily? Don't worry, they even have soft fleece blankets in the treatment room! As if nice & friendly treatment wasn't enough, you will also get a goodie bag! I’m very pleased with my experience at SolidSMILES. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly online, and I LOVEE that the office has extended hours so I don’t have to go in the middle of the work day or take PTO. My insurance was verified before my first visit which made the checkin process very smooth and quick. Dr. Patel was very gentle, understanding, and informative. She walked me through everything she was doing, showed me what she was seeing through the dental camera and answered my many questions. There was no judgement on my lack of flossing habits :). Solid Smiles is a clean and professional office, has a diligent and friendly staff, and makes an experience that people normally dread into one that is easy, painless as can be, and dissolves the hesitation to visit the dentist more regularly. For me, this is after having avoided visiting a dentist for far too long. Dr. Patel and her staff kept me abreast of my dental state and informed me along the way about what they were doing, why, and the options that were available to me. Going to the dentist wasn't my ideal Friday afternoon activity but Dr. Patel turned it into such a great experience for me! No judgy attitude about my shotty flossing habits, no painful poking around my teeth, and I got to watch The Office while she cleaned my teeth! She and her hygienist made sure I was very comfortable from start to finish and she was very informative about my dental health. If you've been holding off on going to the dentist because it's been too long, DON'T! This will probably be the best experience with the dentist you'll ever have!

This office was recommended from a friend and I was beyond pleased upon arriving. Dr. Patel is so personable, yet professional as is all of her staff. I have not been to the dentist in years and the atmosphere of this office is very relaxing and inviting and I immediately felt at ease. It also has such a modern touch and attention to detail (TV monitors on the ceiling are something I had never seen before). Dr. Patel and her staff have a way of making you feel very comfortable, while still explaining everything you would want to know from a visit. I am personally recommending to my friends and family and would suggest anyone in the DFW area to schedule their next appointment here and also do the same.

Still can't say I loooove going to the dentist, but this place made it actually kinda nice. Dr. Patel and the staff were super friendly! They made me feel welcomed and walked me through all the initial paperwork. Didn't rush me but also didn't make me wait for forever in the seating area like most dentist/doctor's offices do. Hadn't been to the dentist in a few (maybe several) years and was worried I'd get the usual guilt trip/verbal lashing, but she was really understanding and actually joked around with me about it. She also was incredibly informative about how my teeth were doing and how I could make some small changes moving forward to improve my overall mouth health. Also, there was a TV above the dental chair for me to watch Netflix!!! Talk about a way to get your mind off the dental cleaning! Overall, I would definitely recommend this place. I've already scheduled my next appointment and can even say I'm not dreading it like I normally would.

Dr. Patel is amazing!!! I had not gone to the dentist for 10 years prior to that visit and I was nervous that I would have a ton of issues with my teeth. However, there were none! And Dr. Patel took the time to explain each and every step of the examination to make sure I understood what was going on. I know Dr. Patel isn't one of those dentists that would try up-sell you on unnecessary procedures which is SO important to me. What I loved most about her is her patience throughout the whole appointment. Most offices have you in and out in minutes but she was in no rush and truly made me feel comfortable. In talking to her, it felt like I had known her for years!! An added benefit is that her Dental clinic is SO chic and advanced! While she was cleaning my teeth, I was watching Netflix on the ceiling TV and hardly even noticed what she was doing. Overall, I had and incredible experience and am looking forward to my next 6-month cleaning appointment. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone wanting an intelligent, thorough, friendly and truthful dentist!

Just had a wonderful experience at Solid Sniles today! (Never have I said that about going to the dentist!) Having to go to the dentist always makes me cringe and have been looking for a trustworthy dentist for a while now as I’m fairly new to the area. I found her!! Dr. Patel is kind, gentle, and most importantly honest! I was having some slightly pain that comes and goes on the left side of my mouth and was very pleased to hear of an alternative solution that was not only the more conservative route but also less extensive and costly.
