Dr. Hamidi and her staff are absolutely amazing! I was previously told by another dentist that my daughter, Ilyana, had 5–6 cavities and would need gas and medication to keep her calm during the procedure. Thankfully, I decided to get a second opinion with Dr. Hamidi. She carefully examined Ilyana and discovered it was actually just one cavity. She treated it gently and effectively—without any gas or medication. Ilyana left with a big smile and had a great experience. Wow. I have always had a very irrational fear of the dentist. Always felt scared of judgement, and pain. Dr. Hamidi at Smile Time Dental is excellent! She is personable and professional. She was a teacher before she became a dentist and explains many of the nuances of dental care as she works. My favorite attribute is that she only does necessary dental work. I came to her after looking for a new dentist after my long-time dentist retired. So many of them wanted to do very extensive and expensive dental work. This didn’t make sense to me, since my old dentist had not seen the same problems. But she did an exam and reported that my teeth were in good shape, with no current work needed beyond cleaning every 6 months. I’ve been going there for several years and so far have needed only yearly exams and routine teeth cleaning with no other problems. Her staff follow the same philosophy.

I have been going to Smile Time Dental for over 9 years. I cannot recommend Dr. Hamidi and her staff highly enough! I am so blessed to have found Smile Time when I moved to Houston. UPDATE: It has been a few years since I last left a review for Smile Time Dental and this practice has only gotten better and better. Dr. Hamidi, Dr. LaBoy and the entire staff have been so responsive and kind to my late husband who had dementia and sometimes had imaginary dental issues. They worked him in on very short notice and handled the issues that he thought he had as if they really existed, which allayed his concerns. I will forever be grateful to these wonderful people who treated him with compassion and respect. I had an issue with my denture and was unable to wear it without pain when the office was closed on vacation. Dr. Hamidi responded to my phone message the same day from her vacation in Germany. She set up appointments for me with her colleagues to get me through until the proper fittings could be ordered and my denture could be repaired. Drs. Hamidi & LaBoy make every attempt to keep costs down while delivering quality service. There are not enough stars for this awesome team of caring professionals in my opinion.

I decided to see this dentist based on the reviews and they were absolutely right. Dr. Hamidi is by far the best dentist I’ve seen. It did take a little while to be taken back for the exam but I did make a last minute appointment the day of and was still able to be seen. Dr. Hamidi really cares and wants to get to know you. I was impressed that she also does the cleanings herself instead of a hygienist so nothing gets missed. She will be my primary dentist and I highly recommend her.

*Update 2024 - ? Billing Alert! ? Just had a frustrating experience with Smile Time’s billing department. ? My wife went in for a routine cleaning, which our insurance usually covers. We were quoted $150, but they charged us $425! ? It gets worse. She was quoted $653 for some fillings but got billed $1,310 instead. That’s almost double the quoted price! This feels like fraud. They charged $1,900 to our HSA card, promising a refund after insurance processed the claim. But they billed us full out-of-network prices, only applying a small insurance amount for the cleaning. Our insurance says the total cost should be $873, but Smile Time is charging $1,574. That’s $701 more than it should be! ? *Update - Just spoke to my insurance provider. Turns out Dr Laboy is not in-network for Principal, we were never told this, and they never provided requested x-rays and additional documents. Unacceptable! It was suggested I file a complaint to the State Dental Board, which I plan to do. Has anyone else experienced this? What did you do to resolve it? #BillingIssues #DentalFraud #InsuranceProblems

I have been to numerous different dentists in my lifetime. As matter of fact, I have not been really happy with my care in Sugar Land. I then had my implant consultation with Dr. Rosita Hamidi.who was able to take a picture of my teeth and show me that my previous cleaning was not done properly, which can lead to further issues. Dr. Hamidi spent more time correcting my cleaning and explaining the implant process. I am so pleased to find such a caring and professional dentist. Terrible experience, 1st, I had a tooth repaired and it fell apart days later. Out of good faith I went back to have a top denture replacement. I had to have a couple adjustments just to tolerate them, but I am 2 toned from top to bottom teeth, and steadily bite myself when eating. This was a couple thousand dollars.

I was so impressed with Dr. Hamidi. Her staff and the overall office were friendly and helpful. I needed a few procedures done and Dr. Hamidi went over everything thoroughly with me. I was there for 3 hours while Dr. Hamidi and her wonderful assistant did all of the work I needed done. She went over all of the post appointment instructions and medications that I would be taking. I will continue to stay with her and her practice for my dental needs.

Dr. Hamidi is a life saver. Our 12 year old boy got in a horrible Boy Scout accident and cracked three front permanent teeth. Dr. Hamidi responded to an urgent text on a Saturday afternoon and was able to guide us through the steps to save our kid’s teeth. Two other dentists at emergency centers were prepared to extract his teeth until she calmly talk them down from that, and said that the teeth could be saved and they were and my kid can smile again. #forevergrateful. Dentist was efficient in cleaning and examination. I was in and out in less than an hour. Everything was explained to my satisfaction. 2023/24: Dentist noticed a small fracture in one of the molars with a filling. He advised that a crown is the way to address the issue. The whole process wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

I received a thorough examination/explanation of treatment plan. Dr. Hamidi and her staff are so kind and patient; their mannerisms is exceptional. After my full examination as well as an extraction I left feeling really grateful, cared for and respected. Review September 2022: Long waits. Often delayed and often rescheduling. When I first started going to Smile Time last year (see first review below) it was in the middle of lock down and I was still working from home. Now that I am back at the office, it is of great importance for me to ensure my mid-day appointments are on time and as scheduled - especially since I am driving in from downtown. Unfortunately the last handful of times coming to Smile Time I have experienced great delays before getting seen. Up to 30 min wait last time, and today 40 min (after the office already called at noon to reschedule my 2pm to 2:30pm). I think what has finally driven me to find another dentist is that every time I tried to ask for quicker / prompter service there was a retort or condescending comments like “Well why did you schedule a flight the same day as your dental appointment?” Or “Why did you schedule a meeting the same day as your dental appointment?”. I tend to place buffers into my scheduled appointments but if every scheduled service here is going to take twice as long as it should, it is frankly not worth my time. Yes, they are technically skilled and experienced, but if you are a busy working professional and punctuality is important to you, look elsewhere. *** Review Early 2021: I had a great first experience at Smile Time Dental. Dr Hamidi and her team are extremely professional but also kind and friendly. Their online system allowed for everything to be very efficient and covid-conscious. I was taken care of right on time, as soon as I arrived by Meghan who was very patient with me throughout the X-ray process. There was a short wait time before Dr Hamidi came in and we had a very easygoing chat about my dental history, her cats, and our families among other things. She conducted her examination with a camera and shared the photos and x-rays with me on the big screen, pointing out all the areas that required work and attention and explaining why it was recommended or required. Her explanations were clear and concise, and she was very patient with me as she answered all my questions. The following cleaning procedure went really smoothly. The doctor and her assistant paused and checked on me regularly the whole time. Cleaning procedures are never that pleasant for me but I would say this time it was easy and comfortable. Dr Hamidi was efficient but also gentle. I have a lot of work ahead on my treatment plan given I haven’t seen a dentist in 4 years but I am glad that I have Dr Hamidi treating me. Looking forward to having a better, healthier smile soon!

I had extensive work done on the first day of consultation because I was made feel very comfortable and I knew I was in the hands of very caring and very professional people. I am a self pay patient with no dental insurance and her prices to completely take care of all of the concerns were more than affordable. I would recommend Smile Dental to everyone. I had very little pain which lasted only a couple of minutes. I will not be looking for a dental care home any time soon. Even brought me a shake afterwards and also a blanket to keep me warm throughout my procedures! Oh! And Beats headphones so I could Bluetooth my own music! Excellent experience overall!!!!

The dentist herself is warm and personable, on top of being a professional epitomized. Really wonderful communicator ("I'm about to change tools, so you will experience ____ and this is normal.") 3. As I mentioned, the little details such as providing sunglasses (to ease the strain of facing upwards at the ceiling light during procedures), applying Vaseline to lips so that I don't experience pain from dry, cracked lips trying to stretch as I open my mouth wide, and constantly checking in with me in case of pain or discomfort. I can't recommend Smile Time any higher. 10/10

Simple, it’s the best dentist I’ve been to yet.

Honestly the most heartwarming dental office I have ever been to. All staff were super warm helpful knowledgeable and tactical when the time was right. Smile time and is very efficient, the office was neat, clean and organized. It was also held a pleasant aroma. Everyone seemed happy to help and I was able to view this for other guest. I would highly recommend making the switch! I know I don’t regret it!

a very family friendly place with a very good staff. I have visited other dentist before but I will leave them only if I move from the state. COVID protocols are good, and are willing to arrange your schedule to suit your needs. Will not mention any by name for their personal safety but I consider most of the staff as extended family. Dr. Hamidi and her staff are amazing. They took care of me, my two sons and my parents this week. Some of us needed some minor things done and some of us needed bigger things done and they were amazing with all of us. Highly recommend them!

Where do I start, Dr Hamidi is the best at what she does. I came here for a wisdom tooth removal (which was my first big procedure) and Dr Hamidi made me feel so comfortable. Dear smile Dental I’m sorry but not because I’m an insurance Agent means that I cannot help my aunt when she feels her dentist is taking advantage if her, she’s on retirement and it is a concern when she feels they are charging above the normal pricing. And I agree with you about HIPAA law that’s why I’m very surprise you didn’t even ask who I was in fact you never let me speak because you were yelling at me the entire time. As insurance Agent I can tell you I will not be referring clients to your dentistry for sure. Also I never asked for any private information All I asked is if your entire group of dentist was in the network and because the client (My aunt who also is her agent) had already questioned the charges you knew what I was calling. Please do better with seniors and stop taking advantage of them.

I called their office to ask about pricing given to my aunt, because she felt that she was being charge more than what she should pay. and the next thing I hear is the Dentist on the phone yelling at me that why an I calling when she is not even the treating doctor for my aunt, and then she started yelling that is not her responsibility to tell patients that her partner doctor is OUT OF NETWORK anyway! I have never talked to a such of RUDE doctor ever, talking and yelling over you!. guess what my aunt was listening to the whole entire conversation and she is never going back to them, I guess they careless about their clients.

My dentist of 29 years retired and I was on the hunt for a new dentist. Everyone was professional & welcoming. They utilize covid protocols and it was very clean. Dr. Hamidi was really nice & took the time to explain my dental health. They use photo technology and place it on the screen for you to see. They also send you your next follow up appointment via email and can call to schedule another date if that doesn’t work for you. I really love the tech savvy-ness of the office and all the nice staff. Happy to say this will be my new go to dentist :)

The dentist's office is not a place many people look forward to visiting, however Smile Time Dental just may change that! From the second I entered the facility ,and was warmly greeted at the front desk by Barbara, to the moment, I left I was thoroughly impressed. Check in was an efficient, paperless process. I filled out all the forms on my phone, drastically cutting the time-consuming paperwork process at the beginning of most medical appointments. The dental office itself is state-of-the-art and beautifully laid out. It truly looks and feels more like a spa that a dental office. Doctor Hamidi is amazing! She exudes kindness and compassion. Her bedside manner is truly second to none! Doctor Hamidi explained everything that she was going to do to alleviate my tooth pain in a clear, caring manner. Hello. I love going to Smile Time Dental because I love the staff there Dr. Rosita Hamidi, Mindy, Megan, and Barbara. I just love it whenever Dr. Hamidi says there are teeth problems that need to be fixed and I need to have more appointments to get teeth fixed. The more teeth problems that need to be fixed the more I get to go back to the staff at Smile Time Dental at Dr. Hamidi , Mindy , Megan and Barbara which they are so funny and they make me laugh so hard and their voices sounds like signing. Whenever I am at Smile Time Dental it doesn't even feel like I am at the Dentist at all. It feels like I am on vacation, more relaxed, and fresh.
