I just had my first visit with Dr. Patel at Signature Smiles-Plano, and I must say that it was a great experience! I was able to have a cavity fixed, chipped tooth repaired and the removal of a broken permanent retainer and ordered a removable retainer all in the same day! Dr. Naren, was amazing to work with and I would recommend him to anyone getting their wisdom teeth taken out, I am a nerves reck at the dentist office. Archana booked me in the first available appointment she had and assured me the office would take care of me. They did just that. I came for my initial appointment and waited a short time before seeing both doctors and they walked me through everything I would be experiencing. I didn't wait long at all upon arrival for the extraction. I want to thank Ms. Star for holding my hand and calming me down assuring me everything would be ok. Yes, the procedure was fast, and I had no bruising or swelling. Archana and Star you both deserve 5 stars for what you do going above and beyond for patients. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with the staff as the receptionist claimed the service that they do not provide. I have an impacted wisdom tooth which needs surgical removal, so I called them twice and explicitly asked both times if they do impacted wisdom tooth surgery and they confirmed that they do and even quoted me $605/ per impacted tooth and tricked me into coming to the office for consultation. She also mentioned that they do impacted tooth with local anesthesia and laughing gas and do not use general anesthesia as only Oral Surgeon can use that, but they do ALL KIND OF SURGERY!! I already had my Pano x-ray from my previous dentist and knew mine needs surgical removal. I went there on March 30th. They did not take any new x-ray and only used my Pano x-ray which is already more than a year old, to determine that I need an oral surgeon and they dont do impacted wisdom tooth surgery. Basically I wasted my time and money on something that I already knew. Still the receptionist had the audacity to argue with me claiming she did not say that they do impacted tooth surgery and everyone has to come for consultation to determine their specific condition. I told her that I already know my condition and explicitly queried for a specific service. Also I was supposed to receive email within half an hour after my consultation regrading the details of referral which never happened! So if anyone needs an “Impacted” wisdom tooth surgery this is not the place even if they claim to do it. Only an Oral Surgeon is authorized to do it. I could just directly go to an Oral surgeon without falling in this trap and could save my time and money as I am in so much pain!! Also the dentist wanted to remove my top right wisdom tooth which is causing infection as per him and then go to an oral surgeon for the bottom right impacted tooth, which I didn’t agree as it didn’t make sense to go through the process twice that too on the same side. GREAT JOB scamming people out of their misery specially who do not have Dental Insurance!!

Big hat tip to Signature Smiles! I called them at 9 am with a cracked wisdom tooth issue. They set an appt for 1230, and I was out soon after. I was first greeted by Sonia who has a smile like the sun. My next blessing was Manvitha, the wonderful technician who took me to my chair and assisted Dr. Patel. Dr. Patel explained to me the procedure and set my mind on a plan to bring my teeth and gums to their best. I was convince he had my best interest in mind. After the numbing process, he had that tooth out in less than 3 mins. Impressive indeed. A bit of tugging, but absolutely no pain. Thank you Signature Smiles for an exceptional experience.

From the receptionist to the dentist, they are professionals. I'm a new Texan coming from NJ so it is hard to find a dentist or a doctor for that matter, who will take my insurance or at very least work with me. The receptionist is working with my insurance to see if I am covered. And, the dentist's conservative approach to his practice reminded me of my old dentist's philosophy which compelled me to write a view. So if you are looking for a dentist whose philosophy is about saving teeth long-term look no further. They have all the latest technology here too. Very impressive.

During my dental appointment, the exam chair was positioned in an inverted position, with my head lower than my feet. As I enter my second trimester, this positioning caused significant discomfort, including shortness of breath. When the tech sprayed water into my mouth to rinse, I felt like I was going to drown. Lying in an inverted position during pregnancy can increase pressure on the diaphragm, making it harder to breathe. It can also affect blood flow and create a sensation of fluid pooling in the throat, which may explain why the rinse felt overwhelming. For future appointments, I’d prefer to remain in a semi-reclined or upright position to ensure comfort and safety.

One of the cleanest cleanings I’ve ever had. The dr and I are figuring out how to perfect my numbing with my hypersensitive teeth but he’s open to hearing what I think is best. Each time I come we track the protocol for my pain tolerance based on what I felt from the previous visit. He tries to tailor the experience to my needs. I also love the female assistants. They hold my hands when we use needles for numbing and offer a lot of soft, feminine care. The front desk is also super nice and sweet. They remember me each time and we have running side convos that I enjoy. Good office.

After neglecting professional care for far too long due to dental anxiety and lack of insurance, I finally landed on Signature Smiles after reading many positive reviews. They were spot on! I was so scared and embarrassed at my first visit. Luckily, Dr. Naren, Dr. G and their staff are all compassionate and understanding. I had an extraction and implant just before Thanksgiving, and Dr. Naren gave me his personal number in case of an emergency since the office would be closed. Fortunately I didn't need it because it was painless and my recovery was uncomplicated. The process is now complete and I couldn't be happier. The implant looks and feels like a natural tooth. Thanks to Signature Smile, I'm no longer embarrassed to smile again. If you're looking for quality, compassionate dental care...look no further! I would recommend them to anyone.

Even though this place is 20 miles from my house, I used to come here because I loved Dr. Pavi, the dentist at this practice. Unfortunately, she has left the practice which was taken over by another dentist. I learned all of this on my last visit at which time the new guy performed an extraction of a broken tooth. He used suchers to sew the gums together after the extraction, but the next day a chunk of gum fell out of my mouth, and the string was just hanging there (so I clipped it off). Two weeks later I returned for a follow up visit. Appointment time was 10:00, first appointment of the day. The dentist was a no-show, so I left at 10:15 and will never return.

I have gone here for my 6 month check ups as well as for a crown. Dr. Pavithra Soundarapandian is so kind and patient! She makes sure I understand everything and is sure to answer any questions or concerns I may have. When I got my crown done by her it was not only painless, but also timely. She made sure I was comfortable with the fit and color and she even went as far as to prescribe ibuprofen if I felt any pain after the procedure (which I ended up not needing). I had a filling done today but I didn't know until after she replaced my silver with white. This place is so personable. They truly care about their patients and providing them with a positive experience. No one likes dental work, but they have gone above and beyond to make it bearable for me. As someone who suffers from severe anxiety, if I do not trust my dentist or doctor, I will just not go. Dr Mikkilineni impressed me as knowledgeable and caring. He took a lot of time to explain to me in great detail about the problems I have with my teeth and what my choices are. The staff were friendly too. I'm happy to have a treatment plan now, and looking forward to my first appointments.

One of my friends referred me to here. My teeth are very sensitive so, getting them cleaned was always a nightmare for me. However, Dr Naren was wonderful and patiently cleaned my teeth without giving me any pain. He showed me that I have cavity in one of my teeth and trust me, unlike others they don't scare or force, leaving NO option but to get the treatment right away. He said "Good to get it filled, but not now". First ever doctor to tell that :) Staff is very professional and hospitable. I will definitely get my cavity fixed at MG Family Dentistry.

One of my friends referred me to this Dentistry. I had to get my wisdom tooth removed. Dr Naren was wonderful and patiently removed my wisdom teeth without giving me any pain. Never saw a doctor who thinks about patients standing in their shoes. He examined all my tooth and showed me that I have another cavity in one of my teeth, unlike others he din't force, leaving NO option but to get the treatment right away. He said "i will have to get it done, but not right at that moment as i will be uncomfortable with the pain " and also he followed up with me about my recovery. Staff very friendly, had to reschedule a few times and each time I received a call to remind me of my appt. Dr. Naren very professional, but friendly. Love that the office has later hours so I don't have to miss work, and he also offers Saturdays by appt as well. Takes Metlife insurance and I found the prices to be very reasonable. I Will definitely recommend to all my friends.

This was my first visit in several years, and what a great experience! I had my x-rays, cleaning, (by the doctor!), and fitted for a new crown, virtually pain free . We worked out a plan to get my smile back ,no problems with insurance and i'm looking forward to my return visits.
