Dr Marquis is an excellent dentist and everyone I’ve had be it cleanings or X-rays have been great over the years. The team there is thorough, takes great care and goes above and beyond.

Best Staff, Best Care, truly a dental experience like no other!

San Francisco dental is the class act for dental care. Highly professional, great customer service, amazing chair side, excellent teamwork, and the latest in modern technology for the best care with the least amount of discomfort. I've been seeing Dr. Dani for over 15 years. I have referred four friends and family and they are all happy patients. So why this review today? I had dislocated shoulder and cracked a tooth. Dr. Dani and team were able to fit me within two days. Given the team's expertise and the amazing equipment she has was able to create a perfectly fitted, color matched crown within two hours. This was essential since I had an overseas trip planned the following week. Thanks to Dr. Dani and the team. Given the pain I was going through from the dislocated shoulder, this was such a relief before the trip and removal of a worry.

The whole San Francisco Dental Office team is truly wonderful: they make you feel at home and do a tremendous job of keeping your teeth clean and in check. Cherry on top: when you sit on the chair you have a front-row view of the Bay Bridge. I cannot recommend enough the San Francisco Dental Office. Thank you for everything you do!

This place is clearly understaffed and not responsive. Every time I call to make an appointment they give dates months down the line and promise to call back once they have a cancellation but then never follow up or call back. You're better finding a dental office that has follow through and capacity to serve clients.

My experience with the dental care was good. The office staff was always friendly and helpful. However, I received a $500 bill for a service that I had been told would be covered by insurance. When I inquired, I got a few responses but in the middle of the discussion, I stopped being able to get any responses to my emails.

SFDC is the only dentist I'll go too. Extremely friendly staff and they do incredible work.

I've been visiting this Dental Office for years and my experience with all the dental hygienists and dentist, Dr. Marquis, has always been great. All of them were so thorough and thoughtfully explained everything they were doing. However, I was very disappointed with the front desk service. They didn't come off as customer-friendly and made it very difficult to schedule an appointment.

One of the best dental offices. I used to be terrified of going to the dentist. the doctor and the staff at San Francisco dental office are so careful and thoughtful, they make you feel really comfortable and at ease. They are extremely clean and hygienic. I can’t recommend them enough!!!

I have been a patient for over 20 years and have always been very pleased with the dental care. Dr Marquis is very knowledgeable and professional. Her office is well equipped and she has the ability to make crowns in the office. Her staff is skilled and always courteous. I retired in recent years and continue as a patient even though I need to commute 25 miles to my appointments, given the excellent care I have received throughout the menu years.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about San Francisco Dental. I have been going there for nearly 10 years now and have always received excellent care. Dr. Marquis is wonderful and so are the dental assistants and front desk staff. I used to work close by and so it was convenient, but now that I'm no longer working downtown I find that it is 100% worth the trek across town considering how great the practice is! Highly recommend!

I've been having my dental work done at S.F. Dental for many years. I've received excellent care from Dr. Marquis and her staff. There was one instance where Dr. Marquis went beyond her standard level of care. A routine x-ray revealed a problem in my jawbone. Dr. Marquis immediately referred me to a dental surgeon, who diagnosed the problem and said it would require surgery. Dr. Marquis met me at the surgeon's office on the day of the surgery and she held my hand while I was being anesthetized and was there when I awakened. I'll never forget what she did for me that day. She and her staff continue to provide me with excellent dental care.

When I showed up in July 2020 for a routine cleaning and some minor repairs, the San Francisco Dental Office had been completely remodeled to protect patients and staff from covid-19 and other communicable diseases. The physical changes included partitions between areas, air filtration devices, and vacuums to draw patients' exhaled breaths. The staff all wore protective gowns and masks. The Office had invested in the equipment needed to provide a very high safety for everyone. The procedures changed too. Patients were required to take their temperatures the night before the visit. At the greeting at the SFDO's front door, patients received a forehead-scanning temperature reading. When the patient was ready to enter, there was a supervised hand washing and a peroxide mouth rinse. After the patient is treated, there is a stop at the front desk for any payments, and then the patient goes home. The patient can feel protected all the way. It's not all grim. The reasons one went to SFDO before do carry on. Dr. Marquis has a kind, professional manner and makes sure the patient understands emerging conditions, treatment needs, and costs. She takes before-and-after pictures which she shows the patient as she presents her recommendations. The staff are friendly and helpful. Do not hold back from getting dental treatment at San Francisco Dental Office.

Dr. Marquis always provides great care and she and her team are always extremely professional. That said, she has kicked it up a notch due to Covid. She has implemented a strong layered approach to safety during Covid so I felt completely self in the office.

Moving to a new city (and country) is never easy and some of the hardest choices include what to do about medical and dental care. When we moved back to the USA and San Francisco for the first time, we had no clue as to how to find a great dentist. Partly by luck and partly due to proximity, we ended up at what for us has been the best dental practice ever. Dr. Marquis and the entire team at San Francisco Dental Office are genuinely friendly and highly professional. The office is close to the Ferry Terminal and walking distance from most of the high rises.

The office is always a pleasure! The staff is diligent and amicable. I've been coming here for 10 years. Danny is the very best and her staff is on point. The office has been SUPER safe during COVID and I always feel taken care of.

This is the best dentist I’ve ever been to. Dr Marquis is smart, straight/forward, kind and thorough. Their billing and insurance system is so straight forward that everything is clear before you even get a service done. I’ve sent family and friends and they’ve loved it, too.

I have been treated by many dental teams over the years, and I have to say that San Francisco dental is the very best. The team is highly professional and efficient, always explaining in detail my dental work and options, and I am particularly pleased to say that it is an operation run by women.

By far the most pleasant experience I have had at a dentist office. Dr. Marquis and her team - from the front desk to the techs - were so friendly and professional. Super Friendly and nice

It may be strange to say you love going to the dentist, but I do. The views are spectacular while having your teeth cleaned, Dr. Marquis is so professional and competent, the staff is so warm and welcoming. They all feel like friends now as I've been going there for several years. Also, Dr. Marquis does great cosmetic dentistry -- had had invisalign and have also had some other minor improvements to my teeth that made me feel great. I would definitely give 5 starts. If I find the picture from the dental chair of the bay and the bay bridge, I'll post it.

I really enjoy going to SF Dental. The staff is warm and the dental hygienists do a great job. Highly recommend them.

1. New retainers her office makes break within the first couple weeks 2. Luckily I saved the molds of my teeth, but upon recreating the retainer with the mold I provide from home that I kept, the office breaks the mold. 3. I had an appointment which the office cancelled, made a new appointment over the phone, showed up and there was no documentation of my appointment and I was forced to leave instead of squeezing me in. I even showed them my phone that showed a 3 minute phone call where I had made the appointment--they didn't have the wrong date, they just had no appointment at all. 4. I'm injected with a numbing agent for a serious, invasive gum cleaning procedure incorrectly. Luckily, I'm assertive and inquisitive prior to the three other injections they had planned for me. My mouth was numb the entire day. 5. The new retainers I have made have significant signs of wear and tear from me grinding my teeth after <1 year. My previous set of retainers from another office didn't have this until 3-4 years in. 6. An appointment I had coming back from vacation (to take new molds after I misplaced my retainers) is cancelled due to the hygienist being out of the office. I'm rescheduled a week later which means my notoriously fast moving teeth have completely shifted from their proper position. 7. Due to the delay in taking my new molds, my teeth now have a noticeable gap. If the office hadn’t broken the molds I kept, this wouldn’t have been an issue. She suggests Invisalign treatment to fix the gap, which she describes as “quick and easy to snap the front two teeth back together.” After 10 weeks and 5 treatments trays, the gap has not changed at all. 9. I sent two emails that she takes 1 month to respond to sharing pictures of the gap that still exists. She calls baffled that the treatment hasn’t worked because it was so straightforward. She has no explanation, says she has no idea why it didn’t do anything, and isn’t willing to front the cost to rectify the error in treatment, only refer me to a new orthodontist. At the end of the day, the only thing I was seeking is a tray modeled after my lost retainer which was keeping my teeth in a perfect position with no gap. This was after referring 3 family members to her business after experiencing a high quality of service my first few months after switching dentists.

All the staff was wonderful & my dentist was the best I ever had! Keep up the great work ladies.

During my first appointment, I was disappointed with the front desk service. The two women working the front desk seemed to still be putting my patient file together when I arrived. I was on time for my appointment and already filled out the paperwork online, however I had to wait 30 minutes in the waiting room before I was taken back for my cleaning. That being said, my experience with the dental hygienist, Natalie, and the dentist, Dr. Marquis, completely made up for it! They were both so thorough and thoughtfully explained everything they were doing. It's the most I've ever learned about my own teeth in my entire life! Thank you for the wonderful cleaning and advice.

I have been going to San Francisco Dental Office for over 10 years. The staff and front desk are super friendly and the office is clean. The views are amazing and seeing the SF Bay and Bay Bridge never gets old. Dr. Marquis is so friendly and accommodating. I like that she uses the most progressive tools and technology. I had an issue with my insurance that was complicated and the office staff called the insurance company and insisted they fix right away going above and beyond. Dr Marquis is very professional and extremely knowledgeable and I appreciate that she takes time with each patient to know them. I highly recommend if you want to have the very best dental care along with friendly staff and great SF views! Best Dentist in SF!!

In the two years I've been in PDX I've gone through three dentists in an attempt to find one that has the same knowledge, expertise, care, and friendliness of the SF Dental office. None can truly compare!

You know how people hate going to the dentist? Well... not here, they are great at their job and it's always a great experience. I can't recommend it enough.

For over 12 years Dr. Marquis has provided me with sound advice and exceptional care. She is a warm and caring person who takes time to explain treatments options and provide her recommendations. I've never felt pressurized and have always felt that she has worked with me and my financial limitations to get my teeth into good health. There have been a few emergency situations where she has gone out of her way to come to my rescue - over weekends, while on her vacation and at night. When she was unable to personally assist me, she has ensured that I've been quickly referred to other providers who could. She has a great team that reflects her professionalism and dedication. She keeps herself up-to-date with the latest technologies and treatments, being one of the first to be able to mill a porcelain crown onsite and fit it during a single visit. The cherry on the top has to be having your treatment with an uninterrupted view of the Bay Bridge and the Embarcadero. Stunning.

From the moment I walked into the office and was welcomed as a new patient I felt like I was in the right place. Both the hygienist and Dr. Dani were professional and kind and explained everything. Before I left the office the follow up treatment plan including my "after insurance" costs were clearly explained to me. To steal a quote "this could be the start of a beautiful friendship."

You know, I'm guilty for not going to the dentist as much as I ought to - I delay the regular check ups, -have only been going mostly when an urgent matter would arise. However - Dr. Marquis is by far the most wonderful dentist I've ever had. I started going to see her probably over 10 yrs ago, at the advice of a friend. Dr. Marquis & her staff have been very personable, professional & I believe, honest. I like that she has laid out all my treatment options when necessary, and has let me have an opinion and say in my treatment plan. I like the laid-back atmosphere - it helps take the edge off the initial anxiety I have anytime I see a dentist. I like that she lays out the treatment cost estimates (including insurance benefits) before the work is performed, and she has been pretty spot-on with her estimates. I plan to continue seeing her as my dentist, and when my child outgrows his Pedi-dentist, I'm sure I'll take him here as well. I hope this helps in your quest to find a good dentist...
