Today was even better my question and my concerns were answered. As a mother Who never dealt with braces now I know who to go to who to talk to and get answers for my daughter’s worries about her braces. The staff in the office were so kind so nice and helping me to understand and my worries they were really helpful and I really appreciate them to helping me to my 100 time maybe same question and worries. Love the staff love how they are understandable. And yes, of course if someone who I know needs help with braces, this is the place. I will let them know and refer them to. Oh, and one more thing, my daughter‘s teeth are starting to look gorgeous, beautiful ass before she started her treatment.

I’m not very satisfied with the management at this clinic. While I have no issues with the doctor, who has been great with my treatment and whose results I am happy with, the management has left me very disappointed. When I started my treatment, I was promised a permanent retainer at no cost by the treatment coordinator Jessica. She assured me that the manager approved this, even going as far as to step out and confirm it with the manager. However, now that I am nearing the end of my treatment and brought up the permanent retainer, the manager claims there is no record of this promise and refuses to grant it. This is very frustrating, especially considering the thousands of dollars I have spent on my treatment. I left my last appointment feeling unhappy and unvalued with no clear reason why the permanent retainer cannot be provided as promised. The assistant came back and just said "no we can’t do it” I told her I didn’t want to make an appointment for my braces to come Off until I spoke to someone in regards of what I was promised she said she would let manager know but no one has reached out to address my concerns or offer a solution and it’s been since June now. It feels like now that my treatment is almost complete and they have been paid, my satisfaction no longer matters to them. This experience has left a sour taste and I hope the clinic reconsiders how they handle such promises and customer service in the future.

the worst dental clinic I have ever visited, they only see you as a sign of money, unprofessional since the doctor did not even take the time to examine my son for his first consultation, and give her opinion on a treatment that did no even show the minimum face as professional ethic, they only wanted to start an extra treatment first without seeing him and then examine him and the only thing I heard was just talk about money and money and costs without seeing him first, since one of her assistants giving an opinion as if she were the dentist, in the room that was only to make the estimate for the clients and a dentist's chair where I imagine the doctor would use it to set the price for the treatment, like selling you a car, a typical business like a fast food restaurant one gives an opinion, the other says and the one who collects.

DO NOT COME HERE!!!This was my second time having braces and the experience was horrible. Dr. Diana Torres was treating me and she did not know what she was doing. The first time I had braces my teeth were perfect. Unfortunately I failed to wear my retainer. I chose orthodontic experts as it was a better commute than my last orthodontist. Every issue that I had with my teeth, Diana said that it was the anatomy of my teeth. I could have accepted that explanation if I’ve never had braces and did not know the truth. Diana had me wear my rubber bands in a triangle which was different than my previous orthodontist, and I did not notice a difference in my bite. I took it upon myself to wear my rubber bands the way my previous orthodontist suggested. Once I did, I started to notice a shift in my bite. Unfortunately at that point I only had about 2-3 weeks until my projected debond date. I expressed my concerns with Diana and again it was the “anatomy of my teeth.” I had only been in my braces for a year and I asked if we could extend treatment for another month and see what happens. Unfortunately that was denied and I was forced to get my braces taken off. I talked with Citlali and Yvette and neither one of them could help. Citlali threatened to release me as a patient because I asked for her supervisor’s information. I remained respectful the entire time as I just trying to get them to work with me. During my debond appointment, Diana took the glue off and that was it. She did not polish my teeth and did not shape my teeth. I do not know if that is standard practice or if my previous orthodontist just went above and beyond. Unfortunately at this point, I have paid thousands of dollars to be threatened, disrespected, and not happy with my smile.

If I can give this place a zero I would. Horrible place! I wasted my time taking my son here when his bracket was loose. I normally go to the Orland location and unfortunately with the dental emergency they were not open that Wednesday. He just needed the bracket placed and they just cut it and claimed they couldn’t treat him because they didn’t have his file and didn’t know what treatment he is getting. Don’t come here if you have a dental emergency these people are lazy!

While the office workers were nice, some had details that were inaccurate. This caused me to stay at the office for about 2 hours. They will try to offer you an additional discount for accepting the treatment same day, but I urge others to get other quotes from different places. I got the same quote from another office that offered a better plan from invisalign and a board certified ortho doing the work. Be sure to ask questions and check what treatment they are providing (Invisalign express vs invisalign comprehensive) and check what the differences are. A note on the amount of positive feedback on google: the office has an incentive program giving more discounts if you leave a positive review, so take it with a grain of salt

I choose Orthodontic Experts because a friend recommended them to me. My daughter got her braces in February of 2021 I have never missed a payment or been mistreated until now. My daughter had an appointment on Monday 1/10/2022 at 9am. Got to the appointment 30 minutes early like I alway do just for them to tell me my daughter couldn’t be seen by the orthodontist until I pay her bill. I told the receptionist that I was paying Friday and she told me then that’s when they can see my daughter. I couldn’t believe it it states on their cards and when you call that they work with families on a budget but I couldn’t pay until Friday and was turned away. I have to be at work at 630am I missed 3 hours of work for nothing and they sent me a reminder about the appointment if they couldn’t see my kid I should have been notified. I drove all the way from the city to Hillside. I called and spoke with manager Nicole Mendez and she kind of brushed it off and said to bring my kid back but I was at work by then. They rescheduled my daughter for Friday when I can pay. I will never recommend them how dare you say you work with families on a budget but turn them away for paying a few days late.

After waiting an hour for scheduled visit, I have been told that doctor is running out of time and will not accept patient. When pressed agreed to examination, but said that x-ray broke down which was at least suspicious. Did not apologize or offer any additional appointment date.

Upon walking in the first thought is.....why does the office look like a dental office kit you could buy and put together from IKEA? Clean yes, warm and inviting a definite NO. Be wary of a place that is bribing reviews out of their patients. Its a pretty big red flag that your desperately trying to come off a great location and possibly bury the not so good ones they are going to receive. (BTW I did not get $100 off my service or 50 reward points writing this one.) Once taken back the cookie cutter feeling only magnified upon seeing 2 rows of dental chairs back to back with hardly any spacing, no privacy barriers in between. I was shocked this place is even operating as this layout absolutely screams COVID super spreader set up. Imagine one massive room with 2 rows of what seemed like 10 dental chairs and stools next to each other. Once I was passed off to a new hire (I totally understand we all were new at one point) however I wasn't expecting to have my head hit by the scanner that was to take an XRAY. Or have her forget to remove the ear part that was holding me in place before trying to move me. By this point I am thinking oh well I've already gone this far. Might as well finish off strong. Then comes the sleazy car salesman. So...this is still a healthcare profession please make sure you staff dresses appropriately. Clothes that are one or two sizes too tight, nails that are 4 inches too long and make up more for night club than a medical office is not appropriate by any means. Your staff does know that long nails are a cesspool of bacteria right?!?! Now I'm taken back into a private room. Finally an actually dentist comes in......and as quick as he came in, he went out. Photos of my teeth were shown. Concern was discussed and he clicked on a video showing how they correct teeth. Mind you not a demonstration of how my teeth will look. Just a demo of a dummy head with teeth and how braces work. Once I am left again with the saleswoman....with no more information than what I got myself from google, comes the good stuff. Lets talk money. Turns out the salesman had no knowledge that orthodontic discount cards/plans that are not employer sponsored insurance exist. However they offer 5% off if you pay upfront the entire cost. Too bad they are so over priced it is ridiculous to even entertain the idea of coming back after witnessing it all. Luckily I made it out without anything lost more than an hour of my time. A knock to the head and a possible exposure to COVID. BEWARE!!!!!!

We do not use all of the dental chairs so there is 6 foot distance between patients. The ladies there are super sweet n patient n knowledgeable. I can't begin to express how helpful these ladies are Kristen, Maddy, and the Dr. I didn't get everyone's names but it was a great experience. Though I did get nervous a lil lol. 1ST initial visit was well received each encounter after with the company n some of the reps i spoke with was wayyy different. I had a interesting experience personally with braces but over all Maddy is exxxxxxcellent in customer sercive and making sure to help u as best as possible and Dr T will make sure to come up with best ways of service for you. Good batch of women.

Ok I don’t leave a ton of reviews, but I had to leave one for this location! Kayenaat, Maddy and Dr. Dao were amazing and had such wonderful customer service! From the time I walked in until the time I left- the receptionist was friendly and all the staff were smiling and very welcoming. They also were very professional and did not make me feel uncomfortable with any of my dental issues. The environment was clean and welcoming, I felt at home. 5+ stars to the Team!!!

The ladies here at Orthodontic Experts Hillside are absolutely incredible! I’ve always experienced dentistry and orthodontics as a check in check out routine of boring and unfriendly procedures. My perspective has changed drastically! These ladies are so full of joy, they are super friendly, and I feel like I’m visiting a friend every time I go. The orthodontist Diana Torres is incredibly knowledgeable about her craft, she is very patient and kind, and makes me feel like she truly cares about my treatment. Maddie is super helpful and friendly and is awesome to work with always has a smile! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get braces or Invisalign!
