A year out, everything seemed to go well. Most of the staff was nice and friendly especially, Lisa. I didn't realize that older patients would have a longer treatment process because of not knowing the state of their teeth. It would be nice to have known that from the beginning, so that I could have planned, accordingly. There seemed to be a little confusion with the office manager (name rhymes with pretzel). She seemed to think she was working on a telenovela or something. FYI -THIS IS SERIOUS BUSINESS AND "HONESTY" IS THE BEST POLICY!!!! Otherwise, everything went well.

The dentist didn't even have scrubs on. They quoted me. Price was OK but we didn't go with them. I had to call them multiple times to unsubscribe from their emails as there's no link. And I'm still getting the emails! Almost to a point of harrasment.

Not friendly, except for one lady, specially considering that I am paying over $5k. My son had to wait for the doctor for 15 minutes with braces in place and mouth open, extremely uncomfortable. When I asked when the doctor was coming the technician had no clue. The doctor didn’t even apologize for the wait. They need to do a better job scheduling first time appointments. If I am late I will be charged, but what about making us wait? Do I get a refund? An apologize would be the respectful thing to do, our time is as valuable as her time.

First time we came was for consultation at 9:30 am Sep 21, 2024. I got a confirmation text message with this exact date and time! As I almost reached their office in Arlington Heights at 9:10am, I got a voicemail saying that we missed the appointment and had to reschedule. Exactly at 9:15am we were at the front desk and the receptionist said we were late. I showed her the text message appointment confirmation on my phone, which showed 9:30am. This woman rudely told me that if I were to be late, I should notify them and picked up the phone when they tried to reach me! I said, "First of all, I am not late, I am actually 15 mins early. Second, if you can't reach me, leave me a voicemail if there are changes, we are not available 24/7 to pick up phone calls from Orthodontic Experts." Someone on their end changed the schedule without calling me, not my fault! She finally let us have the consultation. The orthodontist, Dr. Cleidy suggested 4 teeth extractions for our daughter, she didn't give a lot of education or explaining why we need to put braces, pros and cons, nothing! She spent just a good 5 mins examining the teeth and left. Another lady who was in charge for financial responsibility tried to explain to us why 4 teeth extractions were needed and made us watch a short video about braces. Tell me this is a joke! They treat this like fast food production line! We shopped around for orthodontic works and compared the analysis from each orthodontist. She is the only one who suggested 4 teeth extractions, the other 3 orthodontists said tooth extraction is not needed at all because there's enough space. Clearly fast food worker is their motto, they want easy fast work with ample of space; they don't care if it's your kid who has to suffer from 4 teeth extraction. They scheduled us to put on the braces on Tuesday, Sep 24, 2024. A day before the appointment, I called to ask who would be the orthodontist that day to do the job after I specifically asked for Dr. Cleidy before we left their office on Saturday. Apparently they lied, it wasn't going to be Dr. Cleidy, but Dr. Stevens! I plainly said it's not acceptable to have Dr. Stevens because she has terrible reviews! I am not risking my child to be in pain and have bloody scenes like others have described. So they rescheduled our appointment to put the braces to Friday, Sep 27, 2024 with Dr. Cleidy. Wednesday, Sep 25, 2024, someone from Orthodontic Expert called me saying why I didn't want the appointment on Tuesday, Sep 24 and changed it to Sep 27. I said you guys plainly lied to me, I asked specifically for Dr. Cleidy, but got Dr. Stevens instead. I DO NOT want Dr. Stevens. Then the lady said, "Well, Dr. Cleidy is only in the Arlington Heights branch 2 times a month, one Saturday and one Friday. There will be times you get Dr. Stevens." I said thank you for giving me this information and adding more of ill feelings toward them. After weighing their unprofessionalism and treating future customer who will be paying thousands of dollars for their kids' orthodontics works, they will not treat us like this! I called on Thursday, Sep 26, 2024 to cancel the bonding appointment for Friday, Sep 27th. They asked my reason for cancellation, I said, "Sorry, we decided not to use you guys at all." I thought I was so done dealing with these unprofessional people. Friday, Sep 27th, someone from their office left me a voicemail asking if we would like to reschedule the bonding appointment. Then on Monday, Sep 30th, someone named Serena left me a voicemail saying we missed an appointment with them and if we would like to reschedule! Then today, Tuesday, Oct 1st, someone named Mary from Orthodontic Experts left me the same voicemail. This place works like a telemarketer for orthodontic works, they only want your money, accused you for missed appointment, change your appointment without letting you know, rush you to make decision without giving enough explanations or patient education about their teeth condition and the need for braces. Avoid this place at all cost.

This has unfortunately been the absolute worst experience with a provider I have had with my children to date. They are incredibly disorganized and consistently incorrect in documentation and correspondence. I have spoken with corporate several times on our efforts to improve our service with continued frustrations. We will be taking our other kids to a different orthodontist for braces in the future. Incredibly disappointed.

I brought my daughter, Piper to Orthodontic Experts, Arlington Heights location for braces. They have been absolutely wonderful here! Very nice and professional, especially Elexis and Rachel, and ALL the staff. My daughter is happily having her braces removed today and receiving her retainers. Orthodontic Experts has been very accommodating, whenever we had questions, concerns, and setting appointments. A definite GEM of a place for parents to to bring your precious ones, should they ever need braces!

The staff were nice but the doctor seemed clueless. Initially, I was instructed to wear my retainer both day and night for the first three months post-braces removal, then only at night thereafter. However, after just two days of deviating from this routine, I noticed spacing in my teeth. Despite raising the issue with the doctor, I was informed that they cannot do anything to correct it.What's the purpose of obtaining a dentistry degree if the doctor can't address my teeth issues?? I'm disappointed with how I wasted $4000 here. Even though I've only been wearing my retainer at night, I've noticed a gap between my teeth just like before I had braces. Avoid this place at any cost!!

All they care about is charging as much fees as they can. They will blame it on you when the permanent retainer that they put on comes off with the glue and then charge $100 to glue it back. They told us about the fee AFTER they already started the process. A normal place would talk about the fees before going through with any procedure and get consent for it. This happens often too with other people. Predatory business.

What a lack of professionalism they have, they cancel you in 20 minutes, you lose a day and if they want punctuality they have to give the same treatment, I arrive 6 minutes late and they tell me another appointment, I don't control the street, the weather and accidents are no excuse, but If you ask for rules, sign it, I will not return to that place.

Update: can't believe the change with this place. Hard to get my son in . No call back. Hard to get in touch with the office. Don't send reminders. Can't wait to be done with this place. Positive note new building is gorgeous Update. This place is just horrible. Had so many issues with my sons wire retainers from the beginning. Now that braces are over with i will find another place for wire retainers . Since they don't place them correctly.

Left the place completely heartbroken. I chose to go here, because I wanted the best and Katherine Stevens ruined my experience. The rest of the staff was kind and helpful, but she did not do much to help after she nonchalantly worked on my teeth and left them caving in and chipped after chiseling them. Did it so fast and quick. Careless work. When I went back completely in distraught and clearly upset from crying, she told me there was nothing wrong with my teeth and walked away while just telling staff to get us to leave. Regardless of what the situation may be and if there could have been a better way to approach the situation, she left a client upset and crying after her work. Yes, I may not be a dentist but I see my teeth everyday. I know when something isn’t right or looks different. Instead of helping, she did not give a single care. This women was rude and I am sorry I ever went to her. Thank you for ruining my day and bringing back my biggest insecurity. An ugly smile because of an ugly attitude. Left me feeling extremely insecure and embarrassed to smile.

I'm not sure about the doctor, but the reception is not good. I made an appointment here and they requested me to provide a photo of ID. So, I provided a photo of ID for dental. Very poor service. Low quality of work, the retainer stays for few months and then unglued. Just to fix it they demand $150. Have filling that they intentionally doing poor job to have you back. The another orthodontist we have experienced with, have no issues with retainers qualities. Ended event worse, they forced us to do replace the upper wire for $350. Bad experience with this clinic. Not orthopedic experts . when we put braces, the orthodontist said we need to pull out 1 tooth. we almost finished the treatment, but because of my husband's work we left for another state. clearly the teeth are even, but still there is an overbyte. were here at three different orthodontists, everyone said that the teeth had shifted because only one tooth was pulled out (it was necessary 2 two for symmetry). My son wore braces for 20 months but his teeth don't look perfect. We paid almost 5 thousand dollars. Also, everyone in the office is very nice, but once you sign the contract, everything changes a lot.

By far the most unprofessional place I have been to the receptionist are absolutely horrible the management only wants money they do not care about their patience at all. This place is terrible they just want you to paid out of pocket, they told me it will take 3 weeks to see if my kids were approved but a few hour later they said they were denied and send a bills for 6,000 for each I took 2 of my kids both were denied and same prices even though they have different problems and both need the brace I will never go back hope no one else go to waste your time here.
Dear Pearl, unfortunately, we cannot discuss treatment details due to HIPPA Compliance. We do not make a decision on who gets approved or not. It is up to the insurance. Sometimes it takes them up to three weeks to get back to us, but sometimes the turnaround is much faster. We do not bill our patients. We provide them with quotes so they can decide if they would like to proceed with our services. We have very competitive pricing with the industry and work with every budget.

I love this place! 100% I had 3 different consultations from a boutique on Michigan Ave, a neighborhood place and Orthodontic Experts. They all recommended the same treatment plan but Orthodontic Experts took my kids insurance. I am so impressed with the kind service and thoughtful employees. Great outcome! Would recommend and use again. I noticed lots of parents getting treated with their kids. Very cute.

So Someone recommended this place to me to put on brakes, at the beginning everything was fine with good offers and good service but when I was making the contract with Juanita she didn’t do right the paperwork but she said that everything was fine that my payments will go into automatic payments but no ..!!! A month passed and nothing they didn’t take it out from my bank account so then I went to another appointment and I was surprised that she had not put anything and had to pay late charges for a mistake that she did, my wife contacted her and explained the situation but did not know the displeasure That she was going to take, she talked to Dr. Juanita, she did not solve anything and said that I was lying that I had not given her my data well but I know I did and supposes that the costumer is right but she was arrogant with my wife, she did not solve anything and now She leave a mailbox saying that my wife did not understand and that they do not want to talk to her anymore but , the worst service to a customer and she can’t speak Spanish right and don’t explain her self good neither now I’m so mad about this situation.

At the beginning of the treatment everything was going very well, the team was friendly and efficient. I was very happy with the good work of the doctors Arboleda and Torrez. From a few months to now, everything got worse, they changed their work team, the receptionists were very despotic. Dr. Juanita is not professional, is arrogant and gives a very bad service. She probably doesn't like her job or can't handle it. she rolled her eyes at me When she was explaining the treatment. It was the first time we have met her. THANK GOD ITS OUR LAST APPOINTMENT AFTER 2YEARS I don’t recommend this location anymore

I wish they were the first place I’d go to for a consult before waisting time and money on general dentists that charge you even for stepping in their office. If you want to waste time, nerves, and money, this is the right place for it! The office staff was only nice the first time when they wanted to sign us up. After that, everything went downhill. We had several different issues - procedures, billing, and communication. When our children had the follow up visits for adjustments, they were given to interns, which were not experienced, took a long time, and short after every procedure, the springs were coming out, braces were breaking, and all kind of painful stuff was hurting their mouths. During the latest visit, we discovered that the interns from the previous visit put them wrong, so it took 3 doctors trying to remove them, hurting my child's mouth, which bleeding in multiple spots! Billing - they were really good when it comes to take your money, but when you give them the information to bill our secondary insurance, these people (especially one of them!) took over 6 months of back and forth and still haven't resolved it just because they don't want to deal with that. They had all kind of excuses, including lost paperwork (???). We called at least a dozen of times, talked to office managers, other office people, some of them kind, some not so much, but our simple billing issue has not been resolved. Once they make you sign the contract, forget about service. The communication with them is horrible, whether about billing or about emergency visits after all their sloppy work. I was against those procedures from the beginning as they were not really necessary in my opinion, and now, after all we have experienced, even more. Total waste of money, time, and nerves. Absolutely do not recommend this place to others! Edit added to respond to owner's comment since no reply option is available: the problem in regards to the insurance is that your office never submitted the papers - the person responsible for that (Juanita) didn't fax them, and later another office manager told us they were lost so we just signed another copy last week, no status on that! I can't believe you put an irrelevant cliche response about insurance and didn't even address the poor service! Also, lowering my rating from 2 to 1 star after the latest experience with my children's visit - the personnel couldn't move the braces out of my kids' mouths because the intern from the previous time put them wrong! They had one of the kids' mouth full in blood while attempting to fix it, it took 3 doctors to remove it! I am furious!!! The other kid's spring fell off right the next day...
Hi Tatiana. Sorry you had unsatisfactory experience with insurance billing. Because of so many insurance out there and each one having their own rules and procedures, insurance billing can be challenging. We do as much as we can on our side, but at the end of the day it’s patient’s insurance and patients are responsible for working with their insurance to get proper coverage for their treatment.

I believe in people but in this office, it won't work. I was welcomed very well and told some amount and ended up paying more. There were so many changes in this office since I start my treatment. Every-time I go to see a coordinator, there will be a new person saying something new. There is no coordination among the team and always try to apologize us after doing bad job.

The staff is very polite from the moment you walk-in... however, there is a huge issue with the payment every single time I go in. For some reason they never manage to process payments correctly and they have very poor communication with the call center. At the moment of check-in an error appears stating that a payment has not been made... (I have to check my account each time and surely, a payment was made). Even after arriving 15 minutes early to my appointments, there is a wait time of 20 minutes to be called, and another 10-15 minutes sitting in the chair waiting for the dentist to come around. I was recommended to come here by a friend, but honestly wish I would’ve known all the headaches they would put me through beforehand.

The Consultant (Juanita) was phenomenal with being very caring and patient with listening to my questions and concerns. Their billing dept. is just clueless and arrogant because they feel they can hold you hostage with 'collections' warning. I spoke with them last month (Aug) about updating card info and followed up with emails with no response (see pic). Now, it's Sept and they want to charge fees again because the card info is still inaccurate. They tell me its my responsibility while they take no responsibility for not following up after repeated emails to them.

I enjoy knowing what is happening and I love how thorough they are with explaining everything. I also enjoy their point system and the cool perks you can get. I would def recommend this place for a child or adult who has thought about getting braces. P.S for those who are thinking about the financial aspect of braces keep in mind they have reasonable prices and amazing payment plans.

Horrible service. Wait time was nearly an hour in a half, NO SEATING and very unprofessional. This place is a disgrace to the orthodontic industry. I will never, EVER send anyone to this place. Called the day before and asked for an earlier time for my son's adjustment on his braces. I moved the time 30mins to accommodate me having to be somwhere at 4:30. Had to take time off work to take my son to appointment from Glendale Heights. Got him there on time and waited 25 minutes and was told he was 4th in line and that they were running behind. I dont mind you running a little behind but He would not have been seen for another 30 minutes at best. Unacceptable, I take time off of work and took my son out of scool and spent gas. They need to get it together, very unprofessional in my opinion.

Recommend the place for great service, affordable, and fast service. My daughter is half way on her treatment. Our experience has always been positive. The place is always full with patients. Yet, we spend on average 40 minutes, and sometimes less. We have always seen the facilities clean. I consulted another orthodontist clinic before choosing "orthodontist experts." This facility was by far the best; furthermore, I was able to afford porcelain material for her top braces. Definitely recommend them.

AMAZING ORTHODONTICS OFFICE!!! GREAT WORKERS!!!!! My son's teeth were in bad shape and with the ortho staff they are really looking good. My son is so cofident when he smiles now. We moved to the Chicago Suburbs while my 15-year-old was in braces and set out to find a new orthodontist. We interviewed several. What impressed me about Dr. Yarmolyuk was his repport with my daughter, his knowledge and willingness to work with our previous orthodondist and the clean, spacious office with bi-lingual staff. But what helped me make the decision was a loose wire. My daughter had a loose wire and none of the other orthodontists made an effort to fix it. Dr. Yarmolyuk said he wouldn't let her leave with a loose wire. He fixed it and he didn't charge us, without knowing if we could select him as our doctor. That level of integrity was apparent all through her treatment. He did not charge unnecessary fees (one orthodontist we interviewed wanted to us to pay an additional charge to remove braces because it took his staff so much time which I thought was absurd.) We never waited for appointments, they were easy to get when we needed them and his staff is hi-tech with text and e-mail confirmations. She looks wonderful. We highly recommend Dr. Yarmolyuk.

My daughter got her braces from Dr. Yarmolyuk about 9 months ago and her teeth already look great. She loves going to the office because the doc and the staff are very friendly. The doc always updates me on the progress and the staff always reminds my daughter about brushing her teeth which makes my job at home a lot easier. The price was slightly higher than the other orthodontists we went to in the area, but the office is really nice and updated, and the doc sounds really knowledgeable. I only wish they had longer hours on Saturdays because it's hard to get a Saturday appointment.
