I’ve been going to Dr Boerner’s dental office for years. I always feel welcome and never feel like I was given unnecessary services. There’s so sales pressure like at a lot of dental practices. I recommend Newport Bay Dental to all of friends, family, and coworkers!

I just started going here. I went to another dentist in Costa Mesa for years. However, recently he said I had three cavities! I couldn’t believe it because I’m very conscientious in my brushing and flossing. Well, I got a second opinion from Dr Boerner and guess what? No cavities !

My EXPERIENCE at NEWPORT BAY DENTAL was astounding!! All the way from Ruthene the Adorable,gentle, lovely, kindhearted and honest Dental hygienist to the Dr. hisself, Dr. Richard Y. Boerner! I have to tell you all that are reading this editorial, every word of this is a FACT and I must tell you, should you go into their office, YOU are in for a “ONE OF A KIND TREAT-and a party in your mouth!” Not to mention the WORK OF ART the Dr. will be performing inside! I kid you NOT!! IT is like none other! When I went to Dr. Boerner, I was referred, and skeptical, but from the moment the Wonderful Hygienist, Ruthene spoke to me and began her exam, I knew the rest was going to be a cake walk! When Ruthene was finished she introduced me to the Dr. and He looked at the x-rays! He asked if I wanted the good the bad news first, then chuckled! I let out a sigh, Dr.Boerner said, just teasing, and then said actually, your teeth look pretty good! Here is what needs to be done now, then in 6 months, and a year from now... and so on! I then asked if I could have all the “silver” removed” and have ALL WHITE TEETH put in...he said yes and that he would give me the cost in a few minutes! When he came back, he said my insurance would cover the MAJOR PORTION, and then I could pay out the remainder! That was so easy!! After the insurance paid - they sent monthly statements and I paid what we agreed on and I had a beautiful smile in no time! Plus - Dr. even whitened my teeth with ZOOM at a discount and we actually became FRIENDS when it was all said and done!! After reading this, I hope you too will make the choice to go see Dr. Boerner and Ruthene at Newport Bay Dental, they truly are amazing and wonderful practitioners!! The staff at Newport Bay Dental are amazing. From the moment I walked into the office I felt right at home. After my old dentist retired 10 years ago, I have never been able to find a dentist that I liked. A good friend recommended Newport Bay Dental and I can say with confidence that Newport Bay Dental will be my new dentists! Dr. Boerner and the staff at Newport Bay Dental didn't try to sell me expensive treatments that I didn't need, or leave me sitting in a chair in agony for almost an hour, these are just a few of the terrible experiences I had at other dentists in OC. Dr. Boerner has definitely mastered the "chair-side manner" that many dentist, unfortunately, never figure out. He will make you feel at ease, calm your anxiety, and give you a very pleasant overall experience. I used to hate going to the dentist, but I actually look forward to going to Newport Bay Dental because I know I will have a positive experience and I'm sure you will too!

Finding a dentist you trust is not an easy task. My husband and I have been through a few in a short period of time. Dr Boerner is great! He has fixed mistakes that the last dentist's we've been to have made. He is competent and has a relaxed manner that puts you at ease. His office staff are great too. A+++ experience here from Dr. Boerner and the entire staff. They are always courteous and professional and treat me like a human being. I don't know how she does it, but Rutheen always manages to say something positive to me about my teeth during a cleaning. And Arcy is always so courteous even when I have to reschedule several times for an appointment. Dr. Boerner works fast and explains things clearly. The office is always so clean and the vibes are always friendly and professional. So glad I found this place.

I’ve stayed away from dentists for years. One of my crowns broke the other week, so I searched frantically for a Costa Mesa dentist. Fortunately, I found Dr Boerner. He saw me the same day. He also fixed some other outstanding dental issues I had. I had a great experience and the prices were fair. I’ve recommended him to friends and family, too.

Like most individuals I have always dreaded visiting the dentist; however, after visiting Newport Bay Dental and receiving exceptional service my negative thoughts about dental care has changed. Dr. Boerner’s office offers exceptional service like no other. He and his staff do a great job providing patients with quality dental care, while genuinely caring about their patients. Like many others I was generally not too fond of dental visits and would wait much longer than I should. However, after visiting Dr. Boerner's office, I am glad to say that, this perception has radically changed. Very professional, knowledgeable, curious, and personable staff. Dr. Boerner was very thorough and careful. Everything done was explained in a very intelligible manner and he always took the time to answer any questions fully. Overall the experience and work done was exceptional, and I am happy to find a dentist that I would like keep coming back to.

I have been a patient at Newport Bay Dental for the last 5 years and they have been fantastic. The facility is neat and clean and everyone is always very nice. Dr. Boerner is very professional and genuinely cares about his patients. My wife and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I'm not sure what the person below was thinking, but the hygenist is super gentle. Coming from a guy who doesn't floss as much as he should, a visit to get your teeth cleaned can be miserable. Ruthene does a great job and is sooo nice. 5 stars all around in my book.
