It all started with the front desk/assistant being so kind and helpful both in scheduling and getting our paperwork together and sending us reminders. Once here there was a TV in waiting room and they took us without waiting too long. Assistant dentist was so gentle with my daughter’s X-rays and made it very easy for her to do. I couldn’t be in the room but they don’t close the door!! So you can be right outside. Important thing everyone should know so it’s like you’re right there. Plus of course the all-important TV on the ceiling! Dr. Marc the dentist was wonderful. He was very approachable and made my daughter feel at ease. And was very knowledgeable with what we need for future appointments. Plus seeing the Empire State Building on the way is amazing! Highly recommend them.

This pediatric dentist office is the best! From the staff to the dentist himself, everything is awesome. As both of my children’s first dentist everything has been great. We travel from uptown Bronx to come here. First visit for general cleaning, my 5 yr old cried hysterically bc she was afraid. The dental assistant put everything down and made sure she was comfy and asked her what was frightening her. She calmly explained everything that would happen, the whole process and she calmed down and did great. Dr. Nardea is also very calm and patient. My 7 yr old had to come back for cavities after her cleaning, yesterday was the first half. She was frightened and cried tons before anything even started. And yet again, Dr. Nardea and his staff were very patient and calm. I wish they saw adults as well as the care and service they provide here is very rare to come across.

From initial contact via text directly to Dr. Nardea, through the dental exam, cleaning and xrays, everything was first class. I reached out on 11/10 and was able to get two cleaning appointments for my boys as a new patient on 11/11 which worked out great as the kids were off from school. Normally, his office is closed on Tuesdays, but he had the office open specifically knowing that kids would be out of school, which was very accomodating. My boys were taken in right at the appointment time and received a great cleaning , flouride and xrays. My little one has a gag reflex, so he did not hesitate to do a panoramic xray as a workaround. Everything went well and best of all, my insurance UHC PPO was accepted in full in network. I highly recommend!!

Terrific office and dentist! Dr. Nardea was thorough, spent plenty of time with us, and my 16 month old was so happy and calm throughout his exam and cleaning. My children had been patients of the prior pediatric dental practice for nearly 8 years, and we transitioned over to Midtown Pediatric when the office was acquired by Dr. Marc about 1.5 years ago. Over the years, my children were treated by many talented and exceptional dentists, and Dr. Marc is by far the best dentist my children have had thus far which is saying a lot. Dr. Marc treated four cavities in my son’s mouth over a single visit and did so without laughing gas, which had always previously been recommended and an out of pocket expense. He was very honest and direct in his recommendation saying that it was completely unnecessary and would not further mitigate pain/anxiety. The four cavities were treated in under one hour and he did an exceptional job. With the prior practice, this treatment would have been spread over 2-3 visits each with a $100 out of pocket expense for laughing gas. Dr. Marc is a honest and thorough pediatric dentist and I can’t recommend him enough.

I barely write a review but it is a very positive experience that my kid and my husband had at this practice. so I would love to share to help others...Long story...My husband and I were trying to find a pediatric dentist for my kid who needed a root canal. Our dentist is a general one , just deal with adults. We were referred and then met some ped dentists before coming this practice but things didn't work out. my kid was very scared of needle. Just like other kids. However, the whole ball game changed with Dr Nardea. He is so patient, kind, calm, professional and knowledgable. My husband told me about how the first time meeting with Dr Nardea was like. How professional he was. How smoothly things went....Finally my kid had root canal done and some fillings done too. Gosh I can't be more happy. I called my husband as soon as I got out of my meeting to make sure it was not a dream. It was such a pain in a neck for me and husband since we had to take our kid to dif dentist almost every week just for this baby root canal to be doneee for almost two months. Finally it is doneee now at this practice. Thank goodness. I highly recommend this dentist to all parents and kids. I already told two of my friends about this practice. haha . Mommy always share info. Blessings from a happy mom. ^_^

Midtown Pediatric Dentistry is by the far the best dentist I’ve ever brought my son too. We’ve been turned down service by a few dentists in the past due to my sons age and the amount of work he needed done. Dr. Marc Nardea was able to complete all of my sons dental work with no complaint or issues, without pressuring us to use anesthesia or laughing gas. He really is an incredible dentist that cares about the well being of his patients. His office is a warm, welcoming environment with an incredible staff. We had such a positive experience at Midtown Pediatric Dentistry! The staff were all kind and accommodating for a time that worked best for me. The waiting room had great books to keep the kids entertained. Dr. Marc was great with my son and especially patient when he was having a hard time keeping the dental tools in his mouth. Dr. Marc was incredibly gentle and communicated each step clearly to my child making him feel at ease and involved in his own dental care. We were so impressed with the attention to detail provided during the procedure. My son left the appointment with a big smile and a fun prize! I brought my son here for his very first dental appointment and I very much loved my experience here! My son gets very nervous and upset at the pediatrician’s so I was nervous about bringing him to the dentist - but my son and I had such a positive experience here! We were lucky enough to get the first appointment of the day with Dr. Nardea and we arrived early, which gave the doctor time to provide me with great information about how to best help my son have good oral hygiene. The office was clean and welcoming with an array of children’s books and a few kid sized sofa chairs - my son loved the books. The receptionist was so friendly and gentle with my son, offering him a small toy car from the treasure chest when he noticed my son was nervous. And at the end of the visit, after a few minutes of tears (the dentist did nothing painful - my son was just nervous about having the mirror in his mouth), the receptionist gave him more prizes haha. On our way home, my son couldn’t stop talking about going back to the dentist to get more prizes next time. Love my experience - I highly recommend going here.

This was my son’s first visit to the dentist (he’s 17 months old), and it went well! They have cute little chairs for kids to sit in in the waiting room and also had a stuffed animal and books, which kept my son entertained during the (thankfully short) wait to be seen. Dr. Nardea allowed me to hold my son on my lap in order to comfort him, and he was very quick, gentle, and efficient. My son barely registered what was happening before the appointment was already over. I also found Dr. Nardea and his staff to be very friendly, and they even gave him a little toy at the end of the visit, which was a sweet gesture. He also made sure to take the time to ask if I had any questions. Highly recommend!

But just today i had a filling done. I was nervous and scared. But i let them check me. Simply the best experience I could wish for for my children. I didn’t know it was possible to leave a dentist office smiling, happy and actually looking forward to the next time! Just ask my kids - you can! I just loved the interaction with my children (6yo and 9yo). Our dentist (Dr Sharna) made sure to address them directly in a nice, calm, fun, reassuring, informative way, I even heard her singing with another patient - whatever the child needed. The tv on the ceiling played the children’s favorite Netflix series. The doctor showed all the instruments before using it so the children could hold it/hear it/feel it etc and explained what she was going to do, which took a lot of possible anxiety away. The office is professionally equipped, clean and modern. Johanna greeted us with a smile and personal attention. Everyone was helpful, professional and kind. I wish I had a dentist like this when I grew up! I’ll be coming back in half a year with 2 confident children who look forward to going to the dentist. (The treasure chest at the end doesn’t hurt either ?)

I could not have asked for a better pediatric dentist as Dr. Saith. My daughters baby tooth broke midway of it falling out but it was a complicated break so I needed an emergency dental visit. I called the closest office to my work and not only were they accommodating but the entire experience was flawless. I would like to share my appreciation for experience with Dr. Elyse Kerschner and Rebecca who does the bookings and billings. Rebecca is very patient, never rude or harried when I call to ask questions, and is helpful with insurance related questions. I took my 7 yr old who has been a patient in the practice for 3 years for a chipped front tooth repair and 3 cavities. My three year old had her first check up and sealants applied. Dr. Elyse Kerschner did a great job with cosmetically fixing my son's tooth. She is thoughtful about the kids experience during the treatment, she talks to them and tries to engage them while doing the treatment. They have Netflix Kids in front of the patients, so that helps my kids relax a bit and distract from all the stuff going into their mouth. I appreciate that Dr. Elyse is conservative in her approach. I did not experience having laughing gas or x-rays pushed on me, unlike I had in some other practices.

We had a great experience at this office. My son is just over two and we went for a cleaning and evaluation. The receptionist was polite and friendly, and informed us that the dentist was running a little behind schedule as soon as we came in. In NYC waiting for an appointment is pretty standard and understandable in my opinion. I appreciated the heads up. Our appointment was at 11am, and we saw the dentist by like 11:20. The waiting room was quite small, but friendly. They had a children's movie playing and a box of books and toys thay my son was very into. The exam room was typical for a dental office. They had Netflix in the room and let my son choose the show. They also had a stuffed animal for him to hold. The dentist, Dr. Elise, was fantastic. She was very warm and inviting to my son, and gave him time to warm up to what she was doing. She took a thorough health history and made some suggestions to improve his dental routine that were very helpful. She did a great job cleaning his teeth. She was patient with my toddler, and was also good at communicating with me what she was seeing as she went. She balanced both his needs and mine very well. I was a very nervous mother, and she did not make me feel like a terrible parent. She was kind yet direct. She spent a lot of time with us going over our different options, more time than most medical professionals I have encountered in my life. While she and I talked about our options, one of her staff played with my son in the waitingroom which was amazing because I was there by myself and it's hard to talk with my toddler running around. I would absolutely go back, and I highly recommend Dr. Elise, and the office.

If I could give it a 0 I would. Let me start by saying that my daughter's first appointment with a dentist who is no longer there was amazing! i couldn't be happier. My daughter has a phobia of dr.'s and she was extremely patient with her and gentle and was amazing! My second visit was with Dr. Kerschner - she was horrific. Clearly my daughter was scared and she had no patience was absolutely nasty and I thought maybe I was being a bit touchy since she's my daughter so I decided to give them another try. My last appointment with her was even worst then the first time. She continually threatened my daughter by telling her that she would throw me out of the office and she would remain by herself to be treated. It continually got worse and it really took everything in me to not get very nasty with her. If your kid is the kind that sits in a dentist chair with no problem then this may be the place for you because they pretty much get you in and out. However, if you child needs a little more patience then stay far away from here.

I've been taking my son here for a few years now. We live pretty far from here but I work close by and they are the only ones who take my insurance without a hassle. The location is really easy to get to by train, but would not recommend driving since parking over there is a challenge. Dr. Elyse and Sharna are both very patient and fun and the staff is very caring. My son got a cavity filled and he didn't even realize he got a shot. They are like magicians!!

The front desk staff has time and again displayed their desire and ability to get us an appointment that works with our schedule. The dental assistant is so helpful (always so quick with the tools!), and very kind to the patients. Dr. Kerschner is not only super capable, but demonstrates compassion and an amazing talent for soothing my nervous child. After having been to a number of NYC pediatric dentists, it is a huge relief to have hit upon Just4kids. Thank you!

Amazing pediatric dentist. Very polite, professional, knowledgeable and the office is very clean. The staff is polite and friendly as well. Wish he took adults too. lol
