Originally, I was upset when I arrived because there was a balance on the account that I thought the insurance was supposed to cover, and there was some initial confusion. Fortunately, I was helped by someone named Maria, and she was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to assist me, very friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful. I can’t speak for anyone else there, but Maria truly made the experience a positive one. As for the dental care, the dentist treated my son, who was in pain, and thankfully it turned out to be something minor,just a piece of food stuck in his tooth. The visit ended up being quick and reassuring. Overall, I’m grateful for the service, especially Maria’s excellent support.

Giving a 1 star is actually being quite nice. Stop overbooking. My son fasted (4 years old) for over 9 hours since his appointment was at 10 but was sleeping prior to that so he really fasted since 8:15 pm the prior evening. We got there at 9:33 am. We left early since we live over an hour away. We waited until 12 pm to even be taken back due to another child being uncooperative. We waited, my son finally got taken back, drank the purple drink. Dr Mendoza came in, already saying how they might not be able to do the procedure (lunch time) didn’t even acknowledge my son but yet works with kids he was rude and dismissive with questions. When we tried to ask questions he looked at us like we were dumb, and as if we were wasting his time by asking questions for him to answer before a procedure for our child when we can’t even go back there or have a window to even see what’s happening. They took my son back we didn’t hear any crying or screaming since I had gone to the bathroom I was still around the area, 20 mins later they came out saying they can’t do the procedure since he “escaped” the papoose but yet he couldn’t even steadily hold my phone. Mind you, the papoose is where they strap you down. I have been in one as an adult and could not move. When they sent us out everyone had gone to lunch or was off for their shift which made sense why they didn’t want to now do this procedure. They had no problem sending us away, but making us wait when two other children were not cooperating was no problem for them. I will never come back and will tell everyone I can about how horrible this location is. They are not good with children that are younger, they act as if you’re an inconvenience, then they will force you to sign something stating there were things done when you can’t even go in the back to see what they’re doing and will try to charge you for it. Also when I had originally gotten there they tried to charge me a $149.00 copay, we have United Concordia under TRICARE, we don’t have a copay so the front office has no idea what they’re talking about and when you question them, they also try to make it seem like you’re in the wrong for questioning things. I wouldn’t go to this location even if I was paid to. As I was leaving a patients mother recommended somewhere else and said “we only come here for my sons braces since it’s in network but we take our other kids somewhere else because this place is horrible” do your research before going here. Trust me..

My daughter’s appt went smoothly. Arrived 15 minutes early, check in was a breeze and we got called to the back right at our appt time. The dentist, Emily and her assistant Samantha were so friendly and professional. They were gentle throughout the entire appt. which is important to me because I’ve been to dentist who were rough and everything felt rushed. But not here, they made sure my daughter was comfortable the entire time. A couple of fillings later and we’re out, See you in 6 months Magicland Dental.

If I could give no stars I would. THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST DENTIST. The first time my son got fillings here he was screaming in the hallway and they wouldn't let me go in. He was hot and sweaty with a raspy voice from screaming so much. I was told the Dr shouldn't have numbed him because they cause more pain. I decided against my gut to come back and give it another try and had a different Dr do better with him. Yet every time I come the front desk is extremely rude and unprofessional. Today I had an appointment at 11:30, which they sent to my calendar to add as an event. So I came based on that time. To which I was told they are at lunch at that time. I tried showing her the event they sent over only to be brushed off. No accountability taken.

Horrible customer service, they give you an appointment months out and cancel 30 mins before. Had my child pulled out of school for no reason. Then they rescheduled you again months in advance and when you get to your appointment time they still have you wait another hour or two before your child is seen. They don’t know how to arrange for appointments, especially when your child is fastening. Do better at arranging appointments and plan accordingly. Never coming back to this dentist.

The front desk ladies were not friendly at all. They were very frustrating to communicate with and made me feel like I had 0 value. The dentist was ok. The fact that I would not be allowed at all in the treatment room, even to go back with my 2 year old before they started, reinforced to me that I would not be going back to this dentist, as I was already feeling frustrated by the way I was talked to. I left feeling very overwhelmed and will not be going back.

Not going back and don't recommend to any parents with small kids or nervous kids. They don't allow parent with the kids for treatment even if there are reasons they can't be alone. I usually recommend friends and family to this place and I really do like the front staff girls and the dental assistants but I’m so frustrated with the care their doctors give. My daughter has had crown put in and unfortunately each and every crown have fallen multiple times. My daughter is a tomboy so she tends to rough play a lot so I assumed that’s what was causing her crowns to drop so frequently. December I bought her in 6 times bc of this issue and each time I’d be there for at least 2-3 hours. My daughter developed such horrible anxiety at the dentist and I hated seeing her in so much fear every time we’d go in. Finally had my last straw and consulted other dentist, come to find out crowns shouldn’t be falling like that. I went in today to a new dentist and she said that the work on her is questionable, they used cheaper brands and shaved her teeth down so low and that is why her crowns would keep falling. I am beyond annoyed and very very upset that I allowed so much trauma to happen to her.

I recommended this facility before, however, my recent experience has changed my mind 100%. I took my four year old for his regular checkup and waited over an hour to get called even we were there on time. We find out he needs work on two teeth, which as is made me nervous. When they call me to confirm his appointment they also decide to tell me that I am not allowed to go back there with him while he is getting his treatment done even though again he is ONLY 4 years old! Aside from being sketchy as a parent how traumatizing for him being taken back by strangers to be poked and medicated. I even spoke to the office manager that I was not ok with this policy for my little one and there was no empathy or understanding. Even recommended to find another office because that is just how their policy is and no way to make any accommodations. The lack of willingness to work with a concerned parent is so disappointing. By the end of the call I canceled my son's appointment and prefer to look for a dentist that can actually call itself a "Pediatric" dentist.

Canceled my appointment... calling as a new patient was on hold for over 30 min while the person "checked insurance" while ppl are talking and laughing in the background and saying call center had my call on hold that long.let her know my insurance informantion saying i needed to give her a medi-cal number after I told her multiple times I don't have med-ical. Appointment is for a 4year old with tooth pain i gave permission for my mother to take him and she says she can't bring him even with my permission and signed that she can stated it's policy .After i cancel the appointmentthey still proceed to run my insurance to call me back about the appointmenti dont think they listen when your talking ive had to repeat myself multipletimes.. to many red flags with front office i can imagine what back office is doing

I have re-written my entire review because I'm tired of updating and tired of this place. I have given them chances again and again and they never cease to amaze me in all the wrong ways. Besides all the other negative experiences I've had with them ( previously attributing to specific staff members vs the company as a whole), I've recently had to take my son in for a spacer removal because they were the ones who placed it so I took him to them. They removed the spacer, did some extractions all while the male assistant touched frequently touched surfaces with his gloves and did not switch out at all before sticking his hands in my sons mouth. He touched the xray machine, the door, the computer etc. I mentioned to the Dr. that he did this and she was more upset that I referred to him as a DR. Vs an assistant. They all have crap attitudes and are extremely unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I have 4 kids that have gone here at different times with different doctors/assistants and can't say anything nice overall

I understand that dental offices have their protocols, but I want to emphasize that I made my preferences clear as a parent. However, it appears that this request was not properly documented in the notes or recorded in a way that would prevent the fluoride treatment from being performed. As a result, the service was administered and charged to my account without my consent. I want to highlight that no matter what is verbally communicated, unless it is explicitly written down in the patient's notes, it seems that these treatments are still being provided and billed. I would appreciate it if you could review this situation and issue a credit or adjustment to my account for this unauthorized treatment.

This place is nice & location convenient to me, however they usually over book, the wait times are usually an hour plus, if I ask how much longer they always say “you’re next” & it’s not true. It’s very annoying & I just don’t understand why they’re so unpunctual. Also I cannot get a hold of the corporate office.

Terrible experience with the new staff doctor...you could be waiting for hours. Without being attended to, even with an appointment, there is no common sense in caring for their patients. The only doctor I can recommend 100% is Dr. Emi. My son arrived with a medical emergency and left anyway, I would not recommend Dr. Shams. For the first time she attended to me and I waited from 9:00 am to 12:45 pm for my son to leave as he arrived with the same medical emergency! One of the secretaries in front tried to help me along with Dr. Emi, I thanked her for her kindness, which Dr. Shams didn't have. with the brutality of waiting and anti-sensitivity with which he treated my son, forgetting about his emergency.

The office ladies were so rude, even when calling making the appointment. The lady didn't hear my child's name and spelled it wrong when I got there was confused who it was. It's very busy so the wait was super long even to see the doctor. They couldn't tell me when my next appointment was.

I really feel the need of leaving this review to the public. Please do not go to this place! The wait time is horrible! They over book patients and you do not get seen on time! My son was going to get treatment in one visit and it’s been 4 visits already and all they have not finished his treatment yet! Because all they want is for you to keep paying for the laughing gas! That gets really expensive! Right now they just canceled on me at the last minute! So my son has to wait another month to get seen! Ridiculous! I’m tired of the place! Ones there done with my son I will never go back to them! Sorry but this place is no good! Don’t bring your kids here!

Horrible business!, Will charge for x rays, cleanings etc... make the easy ? then send you to Western dental ! ,to do the real work .then when you ask for your x-rays to be sent the other dentists can't use them because they're such bad quality !!!! Would like to say that this was a one time experience but I've given them 3 trys and every time it's the same thing . The run around no one knows what they're doing in there avoid this business at all costs!

My daughter has Autism! we let them know that more then once! they were supposed to work on one tooth my daughter kept fighting it and they said why does she keep taking her hands out the straps!!!! bc she is autistic she's going to put up a fight !!!! they can't work with autistic kids ! they are very unprofessional! giving dirty looks bc i'm telling them to do their job !!! i wanted them to work on her tooth and they took her off the strips bc they thought we didn't want to continue! worst dentist ever !!!!! they have no knowledge about autism !

My son had to go here for cavities, and both times he went the staff was very nice and patient in explaining what they were doing and showed him the equipment so he would not be nervous anymore. At the end of it he said it was the best day ever. He even loves the monkey on an air balloon play equipment.

We absolutely love this place! Dr. Emily and Edith worked on my daughter’s fillings as well as a tooth removal and it is the calmest I've seen my daughter. All the staff is great even on the busiest days, both of my children felt safe and comfortable. Definitely recommend this dental office! Arrived for our first appt ever here. Walls were decorated nicely and area appeared clean. Nobody said good morning or welcomed us, no friendly smiles. All they said was insurance cards and sign here, here and here. Even Jose who walked us into the back didn’t say hello. 2 women staff who were working on other children did acknowledge my child saying hello and smiled back. The doctor was the only person who talked the most to us which wasn’t much since he was only there less then 3 mins maybe. Wouldn’t recommend this place. We won’t be going back. I’m only giving 2 stars because of the 2 nice ladies in the back doing cleanings that took a few mins too smile.

This whole office is a red flag and definitely needs to be reported!! Normally I don't write reviews nor act as a "Karen" ,but when it comes to my child best believe it will be a different story ! I had an appointment for my daughter not that long ago and lets just say the whole time there everything they were saying felt so off and gave off red flags . For example they were diagnosing my child with this that and the third with no x rays being taken . So many other things were said as well,but lets just say that the bad reviews are very much true ! They use the same tactic on everyone because everything others have mentioned was EXACTLY what happened to me. I was so shocked reading the reviews once I had got home and noticed they use the same script for all their "patients". This is like a show for them and in the end they get paid and take advantage of innocent children by performing unnecessary work. What I got from my experience and reading the reviews is all they care about is MONEY ! Thank God our appointment was just a check up and I picked up on the vibes . Shout out to all the parents on here who took the time to leave a TRUE honest review so that other parents aren't scammed and other children are not hurt in the process of it all . My heart broke for the parents who trusted these people and were done wrong . In conclusion always trust your gut if you feel that something is wrong , always get a second opinion , and don't take your child here !!!!

I have had 2 bad experiences with them. They didn’t do the work we agreed on both times and then charged us $800 they were not supposed to because insurance paid it. My daughter is now missing 3 teeth due to their incompetence. She’s 4 and doesn’t understand why. We have great insurance so it doesn’t make sense. If you want your kids mouth destroyed then this is a great place. I’m reporting them to ADA and DBC to hopefully prevent them from abusing more children.

Great experience. I've never had a dentist appointment for my children go so smoothly. The staff and Dr were amazing. They were very calm and gentle with my children. My kids left here in great spirits and are actually excited for their next check ups. Where do I start. First of all, my son did not get any x-rays done yet was told he needed 4 crowns in the FRONT of his teeth… without X-rays. They just took pictures of his teeth & claimed he was too nervous for X-rays but I was there & he was perfectly fine. (BTW I went to a different dentist & guess what, he didn’t need not one crown on his front teeth) Hmmm cash grab? Also, you’re going to hear “he/she is too nervous” or “we don’t want to traumatize him/her” SO MUCH here & that’s their tactic they use to get more money out of your pockets. Don’t let looks fool you, it’s a beautiful place bc they have so much money to invest in making the office look welcoming but none of that matters if they’re going to treat your children as money than actual human beings. They don’t want to struggle at all or make an attempt of comforting your child. They will suggest the most expensive thing. ALSO pls take general anesthesia serious, it shouldn’t be your first option (even though they will push for it) & if they don’t want to put in the work then pls don’t waste your time/money bc I chose safety over anything ANYDAY for MY child.

Dr Emily was very gentle and caring to my daughter. She Is responsive to my daughter in minimizing the pain experience during our visit. Veronica was also very helpful and efficient while helping the Doctor do her job. Though we’re in the clinic for a little over 2H total the experience was worthwhile. DA review- I regret taking my son here. He's 6 and never did any type of sealents on him since he's been there had a filling come out and instead of doing the filling again they ended up putting a silver cap instead which was completely unnecessary. Wanted to extract a tooth instead of doing a root canal they said that if they would've caught it in a good time then they could've done a root canal but now it's too late, don't see how that's possible given that this has been the place that I've been taking my son for all his dental work they knew for a long time that the infection was there but refuse to do a root canal. These big time companies seem to not care about their patients as they should. Parents save your time and your kids time and pain and take them somewhere where they care. I regret ever coming here.

Everyone from the receptionist to the assistants to the doctors everyone was incredible. Everybody was very nice and everything looked clean. The only complaint I would have is it didn't feel as personal because they work through the patients in a line. Everybody is in a row... and first the doctor see you and then the nurse. Common practice but then they just go on to the next person right next to you. There is no walls. All the chairs in a row. But it is for children so I guess they really don't need personal space. Lol otherwise it was nice. And they were very good with my daughter. ?

This place was great! It was my daughter’s first dentist visit and it went great! There’s a small movie theater in the waiting area. Doctors were nice. They do only allow one parent in the back during the exam.

Magicland dental is one of the best ortho places for kids. I’ve got consultations at numerous places. The main doctor was on the same page as me with the work needed for my son. To top it off yes they were super busy with the after school rush today however they were still very quick. For a new contract and a new bonding set for 11 brackets with wires and measurements for an expanding we were only there for an hour total. I would highly recommended!!

My 7 Year old was in pain for four days due to having an infection under one of her molars. They figured out the problem right away. They said that her last dentist left something there and didn’t clean it right when she sealed the molar so over time it became infected. They removed the tooth and the infection quickly. Working in a dental office myself the lack of communication in the office is upsetting. Change my son to insurance, explain to them I would like a call for copayment before the day of appointment, I had to call multiple times and for them to say we don’t have insurance information when I had provided it to them. Then I had scheduled my son for treatment on a weekend since during the week I work, I get a call the day before is appointment, they had rescheduling without explanation, his rescheduled appointment was for a week day. Now why reschedule him without telling me. I would understand rescheduling him the same day out of the week. Obviously he was on a Saturday for a reason. I personally had multiple bad experiences here.

Be more sensitive when something goes wrong specifically when it’s about kids , parents are not going to be forgiving when it comes to their kids. Also the staff from office and dentist I noticed making facial gestures when I complained and asked questions. I think they have forgotten that being professional and sympathetic is also part of their job, also some X-ray techs are rude and intimidating to children. I had no problem with the back office staff (dental assistants) despite our all that went wrong with my child they were understanding and nice . It’s been 3 months since I wrote this review and now my issue is with billing. The front desk gave me wrong information about my coverage and 3 months later sent me an additional bill for-$438.00. After I paid a certain amount right after services and was given an estimate that my insurance would pay for 50 percent of certain services . Don’t recommend this place to anyone with private insurance.

Please make sure your appointment is saved when they schedule you. My son was scheduled and they gave me an appointment card. Come the day of the appointment and they didn't have him scheduled. I had to wait basically an hour to get called in even though they made the mistake.

I enjoy bringing my kids here but they do not allow parents back when the kids are getting treatment and that to me sucks!

I absolutely love this place. Although it seems like you will be there for hours because it's always packed, the waiting time is not bad at all. I love that they have a lot of employees so they get you out pretty quick. They are all very friendly and helpful. They have many chairs so they can work on multiple patients at a time. Their waiting room is super cute and kid friendly so that's plus. I highly recommend to bring your little ones here.

It went well for my daughter. She had wiggly teeth that needed out and that's what they did. Doctor was amazing. He definitely made me feel at ease because i was a wreck. So did his assistant. I didn't get anyone's names but my reason for a 4 star is because it can take forever to get to the back. Other than that all is well.

Been taking my girls there for three years I have try different children dentist because they don’t do the work good or I get treated wrong or the place is too dirty or they’re just not nice to the children and they have always cry and I FINALLY found the one that they love and they LOVE the movie theater I haven’t had any problems with anything they do great work on teeth the staff are always nice to you and it’s always clean and they make children feel welcome….I recommend this place to all moms that have children that hate going to the dentist and they will end up loving it.

My son had dental work in the Rialto office he was very nervous the dentist and the dental hygienist walked him through the entire process. He said he didn't feel much pain. He was a little loopy afterwards but that was about it. When we arrived it took roughly about 10 min or so to go back to the room which I really liked. We didn't have to wait long at all.

Clean and kid friendly. All the dental assistants were nice and Dr Yang was awesome. Sylvia in particular went above and beyond to make my child and me feel welcomed and comfortable. She took her time to explain treatment and made sure my baby knew what was going on. 3 fillings and one extraction later and my baby was all smiles. She even invited Sylvia to her upcoming birthday party haha. We will definitely be coming back and requesting Sylvia and Dr Yang specifically. So glad we found this place.

This is my second year going there with a child that has braces and every time we go it’s another issue. Brackets are coming off within a day if not hours after they did the procedure or they cut the wire too short, or the wire keeps slipping out of the bracket, I should’ve learned my lesson the first time this place is garbage their unprofessional the receptionist are rude. It’s always ridiculously packed

Took the day off work due to the fact that the receptionist over the phone let me know when booking if my child needed treatment, they would not be able to get it done at the time i originally wanted. After an hour of waiting we get called back for x-rays which were taken by a gentleman who couldn’t even talk to my toddler in terms she’d understand. You would think because this is a PEDIATRIC dentist the staff would be trained to do so. After x-rays he makes us sit back in the waiting room because “there is no chair” for my toddler. After waiting 20 more minutes we get called back just to have my child sit and wait for the Dr. for another 45 minutes. Dentist visits are hard enough, why expect a toddler to sit and be patient for this long. If they were not ready we should have not been called back. After waiting for 2 hours, the dentist comes over and sees my child for all of SIXTY SECOND just to tell me everything I already knew and to tell me I need to reschedule for treatment. What a joke. Will not be returning and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Medical assistants are useless they have a lot of them for what ? Nothing lol they have one dentist my granddaughter came in waited for 2 hours to be seen then he sees her for 60 seconds and says “ yeah she has cavities schedule her for a filling” when they could’ve done it here but they have one dentist !!! And this is a children’s dentist but the staff are definitely not trained to talk to kids or even know how to handle them during an exam . Don’t recommend this place

This dental office is best in the county. They are packed but there’s never a long wait time ever. Their scheduling is perfect. This is the place to take your kids! They have an area in the waiting room with tons of gaming screens, they have a movie theater and also a huge hot air balloon for kids to keep busy. Their entire office from front to back is designed for your child with a modern jungle / circus theme it’s the best thing ever! Their staff / customer service is top tier. I wish I can get dental services here! My kids and I enjoy it and we’ve now found our home dentistry!

I am so happy I found this place! My kids will not go anywhere else. My kids are both extremely nervous. Silvia was amazing and patient with my children. She explained the process to them in a way they could understand and took the time to make sure they were okay. Dr Yang came in and they felt so comfortable with her calm energy. All their white fillings were done same day. My kids asked when they can come back! Hopefully next time no cavities, but if they do, I know they will be taken care of. 10 out 10 recommend.

My daughter sees ortho here and I hate that they never do what they say they’re going to do. 2 times I’ve had to come in where they tell me they’re going to remove my daughter spacer that she has on the roof of her mouth and they never do it but then instead tell me she had to continue and keep it on for even longer this happened twice - last month they told me to plan for a longer visit as they’re going to put the rest of her braces on - great! reauested to leave work early took her out of school early for this appointment and once again. All they did was change the bands of the already existing top brackets. Nothing more - oh and told me that spacer had to be turned more times after being told in the previous visit that she was good and. She no longer needed that -I don’t know what kind of games they’re playing or they’re just prolonging it to make more money off us but it’s a big NO For me! The staff there are even rude when questioning them I think I’ll be ending all services here and going elsewhere. They need to stop wasting our time.

The level of professionalism is horrible .. I have been here for 3+ hours every time I have come to this office there is always a mixup , they are not sure what we are here for or what the treatment plan is … I was here a previous day in the week and we did absolutely nothing .. I take my time from work to be here on time and I am never accommodated .. I try to be patient but it is always something .. I have witnessed the front office staff discussing other workers as well as patients .. I went in for my child's first dental visit upon arriving reception was unfriendly and inefficient upon check in. After the examination I saw the hand held mirror was dirty and had old cement on it. As a former Registered Dental Assistant and office manager the overall impression I got was not positive. They need to clean and sterilize instruments properly to avoid transmission of infectious diseases and always greet guest with a positive attitude to keep their clients returning. Besides the wait time not being long, the doctor was the only other positive experience of the visit. She was very informative and had a positive bedside manner. Before going if you have insurance ask if the dentist is in or out of network to avoid paying higher co-pays. The notice of privacy along with a few other documents that were required to sign state you should receive a copy upon signing, I did not receive any. Needless to say I will not be returning.

I would give the ortho dept 5 stars but the billing department will get a zero. Terrible customer service. My daughter has dental insurance but they didn’t bill the insurance they said they wanted me to pay up front first. Then find out they never ever billed the insurance provider. When questioned at multiple visits they said they would look into it but I still payed out of pocket while paying monthly dental coverage from my job. Well new dentist and they took my insurance. I hated I had to leave this place and start her braces all over again. The customer service from the front desk to the billing dept is horrible.

I brought my daughter in for fillings on Saturday she is a new patient I wanted her to go to a dentist she would feel comfortable at since this is a place for children it was nice at first when we came to an appointment prior to this one… she does get nervous at dentist appointments especially going to the back by herself I feel a lot of children would. After she was done as soon as we got home she informed me that a female dentist told her to stop whining as she was getting her treatment? I am very concerned about this if this was said to my daughter what else is said when parents aren’t allowed to go back this should be addressed as soon as possible this is a reason why many parents want to go back with their children we will not be coming here again it is very disturbing for an adult to say that to ANY CHILDREN! I still get anxious/nervous at appointments I was never told this by any dentist

As a first time mom taking my daughter to the dentist for the first time, I found this dentist online. I don’t like the fact that a parent can go in with their child when sedation goes on and the whole removing a tooth. This is the first dentist where a parent can’t go in with their toddler in the room. Not is one only anxious but don’t know what or how they’re treating or doing to your child behind doors.

Everything went well up until it was time to get treatment. The dental assistant was obviously bothered when I requested to go in with my daughter, her facial expression said it all. She stated parents are not allowed in the back for treatment. But what she didn't know is that I've been in the back before with my other kid so I know for a fact I can be back there. She then said it all depends on the Dr which is understandable, however, I said I will wait for a Dr that will allow me back there. The assistant went to the back to ask but then the receptionist came out stating that it was going to be quick, parents may be allowed but blah blah blah . Gave me the impression that she wanted to discourage me from going, never will it ever work. Quite frankly, magic dental has so many negative reviews on Yelp regarding kids treatment, coming out traumatized and with bruises that I will never feel comfortable with any of my children going to the back without me. She then proceeded to tell me that we would be called but there will be a waiting period as the Dr is with a patient. B S!!! Why would my daughter be called in if the Dr is with a patient??? Retaliation much? I agreed to wait, after waiting for 30 min, I requested to reschedule for Saturday. Now that I'm getting ready to leave the receptionist offers to check how much longer it will be. Please!!!! She apologized but I'm not buying it, can't apologize for something that was deliberately done. I'm hoping on Saturday magic dental redeems itself or I will be taking my kids elsewhere. Private or medi-cal insurance, you're getting your money so stop playing waiting games and mind games on your patients.

I took my daughter in for some work and when we came home she took a nap and woke up crying, saying that they hit her arm and covered her mouth so she could stop crying and screaming. Love it here! I took my toddler for her regular cleaning (which i should mention is terrified of dentists). Everyone was very friendly but I especially want to thank Marisol for treating us with so much care from the moment we walked in. She really made us feel comfortable and even helped calm her anxiety of being at the dentist by playing Lilo & Stitch. Thanks to Marisol accommodating to my toddler’s request, by the time she went in to see the dentist she wasn’t as scared anymore.

My daughter went in for her six month visit. Unfortunately she had two cavities and she has to come back three weeks to get them seeing again. I don’t understand why they don’t treat it there while you’re in the office you have to come back and wait so long. Also when you make an appointment sometimes the wait time is over an hour. They see patients quickly at the customer service gets over scene. They don’t spend an adequate time with each patient. Not very happy with this office will be changing after her braces are gone on my other kids are transferring. Don’t recommend this place anymore

My son had to have a few procedures and they said he had to be sedated and that I couldn’t be the room with him he was only 5 at the time. I remember feeling so guilty about leaving him with them. I heard screams while in the lobby I stood up nervous thinking it’s my baby I couldn’t do much but wait for him. So when he comes out they rolled him out in a wheelchair he had red bursted blood vessels around his neck from them strapping him down.I looked at his face and immediately knew that something was wrong he had been crying for a long time his face was swollen his eyes were swollen. I asked him are you OK what’s wrong?were you crying?he said yes mama where were you? I was scared! I looked up and asked the nurse that was pushing him in the wheelchair that what had happened to him?she said oh it’s a little bit of red because of the straps we put on him. My stomach was in knots. The following day when the anesthesia wore off I was able to really talk to him and ask him about what had happened he told me that they were yelling at him to shut up!!and That to stop moving!!!because he was crying a lot he was scared and that he was crying for me and calling out for his mom they didn’t tell me any of this he now is traumatized he doesn’t want to return to the dentist for a cleaning. I’m constantly apologizing to him for that moment that he went through he shouldn’t of went through that. I am extremely disappointed I trusted them. I assumed because they are a children’s facility that they had more patience with them and we’re more gentle but I see that I was wrong my mistake and my child will not be returning.

SCAMMERS!!!! DO NOT GO HERE! MAGICLAND IN RIALTO very cute place but the office bills you for things without permission. I went in as a new patient which they said was a free visit just to establish a dentist and later I was sent a bill for $116. I’ve heard of places like this but never had experienced one until now. We just moved to the area and now considering driving to Elmonte just to go back to a dentist I trust. At least there they check my insurance see if I am covered for whatever they are requesting and if not TELL ME RIGHT THEN AND THERE if I’m being charged in any way. They assured me free new patient consultation and when talking to the manager she was ignorant, not helpful in any way just kept repeating herself.

I’ve been coming to this office since they first opened, the dentist I love the office manager and the girl who does checkout are amazing. The front office as soon as you sign in they need to work on their costumer service. Every time I come they are super rude and they don’t greet you. I’ve had scheduling issues with them the past few months have been horrible. I have gave them my patience and was okay with rescheduling but when I scheduled for specifically for spring break and they call to cancel my appt the day before and try to reschedule me a month out which I thought was ridiculous. I will still come to this office only for the dentist and office manager. But please work on your costumer service front office.

When I originally went for consultation my daughter was in pain, they put me on waiting list then I had to go to another doctor for emergency treatment. I decided to come back to get the rest of her work. The receptionist said I will give your bill in a minute I figured it would be just my co pay since they had said the insurance covered majority of my child’s work. The receptionist Maria tells me I have to pay 781 dollars never was this discussed with me until after the work was done. This was very unprofessional what if I did not have 781 dollars to pay for this. This amount was never discussed with me untill after treatment, how can you even do this to a patient.

The wait time is ridiculous. I schedule the appointment at 2 and make arrangements around my schedule. The waiting room was jam packed which clearly shows the scheduling department over booked.

Magical land dental is my new and permanent dentist ! I previously went to dentistry 4 kids And let me tell you Magic land is 4000x better than them. The communication and high quality care provided to my child is unmatched. The staff are kind, and attentive. I even took my son in for emergency tooth pain and they examined and treated him same visit , same day. Which unlike other dentist , they will always try to squeeze another visit out of you , just to collect more money from insurance. Here it is genuinely about the care of your child. Highly recommend Not to mention the facility itself is beautifully decorated and designed for children, and everything looks clean and high tec!

They seem to do this a lot so please beware of your little ones coming here. Definitely crooked scammers out for your money, they have no compassion for children what so ever!

Best experience at a dentist office ever. Could have paperwork online to fill out beforehand. But that was negligible compared to the great executive we had. Did not feel pressured or shamed or anything. Staff, hygienists, and dentists were amazing! Worked VERY well with a very nervous little girl. Definitely bring your kids here. Great experience!

Please don't take your kids here !!! Lady to the right for financial is always rude even over the phone. I wasn't able to go in with my son, he came out scared and crying by the door alone. Nobody tried to comfort him & they had told me he was crying the whole time in the back. I would've like to known so I could go in with my son he's only 3 and probably traumatized. They told me they would use laughing gas but I have a gut feeling and highly doubt they did by the way he looked and how painful it was, it was only a capping it shouldn't have been that bad. Not to mention she handed me my receipt and didn't offer a bag to my son after ALL that pain yet the boy before him got a bag with some toys which my son saw him walk out with ... totally unfair. Never taking any of my 3 kids back here .

The doctor is great and she’s patient when it comes to little ones. The front office is the issue. Numerous of times I have encountered rude receptionists which is wild because you would think they would have more pleasant people since that’s the first person you see. Wait time can be extremely long. Communication is an issue as well you get different answers from different associates.

The first time I figured they were just super busy the 2nd time they kept telling me your next just wait 30 more minutes after waiting 4 hours I left. I took my 3yr old for his first dentist visit and the service was great. The lobby was clean and very kid friendly. The theater room was playing “ Enchanto” for those waiting to be seen. My son was called back sooner than expected as I filled out the required paperwork quickly. Although my son did not cooperate, the staff was very caring and patient with him. My son was reassured that he would be fine and was given a blue balloon for trying. His follow-up appointment is in 3 months and I’m looking forward to having another great experience.

I think if they can call to confirm appointments they can call to tell you that they don’t have the laughing gas to help ease your child’s pain prior to getting there for your appointment. My daughter is to little to get restrained and poked in her gums. If the appointment was made two weeks before they should have had their equipment. Instead my daughter has to wait another week or two for them to reschedule all because they didn’t have their end fulfilled. I don’t think I’ll be going back to this place.

I waited 2 1/2 hours to be seen. Just for them to tell me my son's tooth was not infected. Instead of making a appointment I should have been told what to look for. I was recommended to this place by another dentist for my little one. She was only supposed to have one extraction and they ended up taking two teeth out. I was beyond upset but that did not seem to matter to them. They had a very dumb excuse to why they removed the other one. The dentist in charge or working on the children clearly does not know how to follow orders. Because the other dentist that did the examination was very clear on what tooth needed to come out. Another thing I did not like is that they do not allow in the room with them while they are working on them. Now I know why they want to just do whatever the hell they want with the poor kids.. Never again will I step foot into this facility current patients and future patients beware please.

This office is the best. All of my visits have been very pleasant, the staff are very friendly and helpful. I’m always in and out no long delays like some other offices and even if there is a small wait it is reasonable and understandable given the amount of patients that come in and out of the office. I’m glad that I have chosen this office for my braces. The Doctor is very nice and gives you constant updates and progress on your braces. I do want to express that the orthodontist and his assistants are amazing??, they get you in and out because they understand the value of peoples time.

I have a special needs son and I have to sit in my car from 45 minutes to an hour for Ortho Dr. to see him. I dont understand what the hold up is if I always ask if my son can be seen 1st thing in the morning due to him being Autistic. This place was nice for the kids. Unfortunately, wait time was too long for someone that had an appointment, so plan ahead. Receptionist can be friendlier since they are the first point of contact but paperwork was smooth. I liked that they were up to date with technology and the technician was friendly. I will add that their bedside manners can improve as kids don’t know what to expect next. I will update this after a future visit as there is room for improvement but one thing I will say, they weren’t pushy and tried to add on services that weren’t needed, so that is a huge plus!

Waited over an hour to never be called. Other party that was 30 minutes late to their appointment was seen before us, which they didn't even have all their "paperwork" filled out and yet were still called in. What's the point of having an appointment and being there on time if you still have to wait 1 hour+ and they'll just take anyone they feel like. Also being short on doctors in the back isn't an excuse. That's unfortunately your problem not mine. If this is something hindering your service, reschedule patients, don't make them waste their time because of your incompetence.

I took my autistic son here in November of 2021. We had a 9am appointment for ortho and we were there 30 min early and the first ones there. I noticed people who came in after were being seen before my son. By 9:30 I got up and asked the clerk what's going on we were here first? She rudely said just wait my manager will be with you. I said I gotta get my son to school and his patience his minimal She needs to come now. The manager took us to the office and told me I owed 1433 for his braces back in Feb mind you I've been going in every month. She said my insurance Didn't cover it for a year so I had to pay it. I was like no you guys said my insurance was gonna by 1500 and I signed the paperwork. Well the lady who was here is no longer here and you have to pay it. I told her had I'd of known I would of waited. Well you can do $100 payments each month, that's not the point. You guys were supposed to do your job. Now my insurance is saying it's pre existing and won't cover future work. I gave friends and other family that will not be returning if they don't correct it. When I asked to talk to someone above her she wouldn't help. Now I'll be looking I to it to see what I can do or call my attorney.

My kids love this place. The staff are very friendly and patient. They have a mini movie theater in the waiting area where patients can watch movies while they wait to be called. The Dentist and DA are very nice and do good work but where the issue starts is with the front desk, they are so unorganized its embarrassing. About 4 out of 6 appointments I've had issues with them because they will schedule my son at a time, give me a card with the time and date and then when the appointment is near I get a confirmation text message with either the incorrect time or date and then I have to call and try to fix the issue and they have no idea what happened in the confusion. Last time he went to get his wires from his braces removed because he was going to have treatment with the dentist the next day and when we get there they tried to reschedule his appointment because they couldn't do the treatment with wires on when all they had to do was look at his chart or his mouth to see that they where removed!!! Also the front desk is very dry and looks at you almost with anger when you're asking them a question and won't even look at you when they're answering you back.

The assistants are not organized .. I get a text message to confirm my sons appointment at 4:30 then I get a call the next day to confirm it at 3:00 ? Then I was like okay 3 is fine. But then again I get another text message to confirm it at 4:00. So they changed it twice without telling me. I think just so they can work around there own schedule and not actually the patients.

recently moved to the area so i was looking for a dentist for my kids. came across this “magicland dentist” worst decision ever! regret bringing my kids here honestly the girls working hands on with the dentist are super unprofessional. in front of my face one worker asked the other “how many more patients” the other answered “one more thank god” how is that a professional answer in front of your patients. anyway, that’s one, the other was the wait, took 2 HOURS for a cleaning. asked the girl if this was the wait all the time & if they’re always short staff, she said “yes the wait time is the same during week days too” ( this was on a Saturday) SMH. honestly i was looking for something local for my kids but i prefer to drive all the way to Carson city with their previous dentist than to come here. plus the girl who was cleaning my younger sons mouth (3 years old) made him cry. i’m not sure what she did to make him cry but he rarely ever cries at the dentist. she was all up in his face trying to clean his little teeth. totally unprofessional, like they have no idea what the heck they’re doing. always believe in ur gut feeling. once i got there i had a feeling i was going to hate it and 2 hours later i definitely hated it! please avoid coming here, it’s a waste of time, money etc! good thing my insurance covered the 2 second teeth cleaning they received. also, the Dr was unknowledgeable, i can keep on going on... worst ever!

Unorganized in regards to scheduling of the dentists and if they are actually available. My son has special needs and the dentist he sees who is specialized in that area, for some reason, we cannot get his appt with even though it has been explained, asked and requested several times. 2 appointments, 2 rescheduled, waste of time to get my little guy prepped and in the frame of mind to go and then nothing. The staff is very nice and accomadating but that's the only frustration at this time.

Wish I could give ZERO stars. Awful. They didn't let me in with my 8 year old son that was getting cavities filled. He cried the whole time. No one came to get me. I asked someone to check on him she did and said he was good and he wasn't. He was BALLING HIS EYES OUT when came out. He now hates the dentist. He has never had a fear before, because he's never been forced to be alone. I don't understand why they did this. We went 2 months ago and I could go in with him. Our appointment was at 4pm. It's 5:30pm and they still haven't seen my child. They said the dentists was backed up only about 15min. If my kid didn't have to get her cavities filled I would have walked away a long time ago. This place doesn't deserve my business. Go somewhere else! This place is no good.

Poor customer service. Front staff is so rude!! No one ever knows what’s going on. Manager is no where to be found. I called several times trying to get a hold of her she never returned my calls. Wait time will never change in this practice, they give you a 9 appointment but you won’t be seen till 1pm. RIDICULOUS! Only magical thing about this place is how you arrive on time and you’re magically seen 4 hours later! This place deserves 0 stars! I brought my children here back in December and all covid precautions were taken staff was friendly and we were seen on a time. Management was clearly involved. Sad to say this place has taken a huge downfall. HORRIBLE!

ZERO star for the Ortho office manager!!! I have been calling leaving numerous messages for the ortho manager to return my call. It’s been over 6 months and she still have NOT returned any of my calls!? I have came into the office on the days she is supposed to be in the Rialto office but for some apparent reason every day I came into the office she was working at a different location!? Never coming here again! Took over an hour both visits to be seen. daughter went in for treatment and they worked on her with out numbing her or laughing gas. The dentist told my daughter “don’t act like that” how is a 3 yr old suppose to act while their working on her with out any numbing? Never met the dentist when they told me she was going to explain my daughters treatment, no wonder parents aren’t allowed in the room with them. Terrible experience i paid 1,000 for my daughter to get 4 crowns not even 3 months later one falls out and is now not savable or able to be cemented back on when they knew what they were doing from the beginning i would never recommend anybody to go here i am very upset that now my baby has to be drugged up again and her tooth extracted to get a partial just terrible ?

This is the first time I go to a treatment/procedure with my daughter and wait 3 hours. Kids are fasting and they make you wait about 3 to 4 hours before they get you in. This is ridiculous; they should not schedule so many kids in one day if they don't have the capacity to handle them. You cannot have a 4 - 5 years old waiting without eating for 12+ hours. I should not recommend to anybody.

This was my first time here and i was quite disappointed. I called in the morning to make a future appointment for my 5 year old. They asked if i could come in same day so we did. We got there and waited over an hour and a half to be seen. Absolutely ridiculous.

I took my daughter here for her first ever dental appointment. This place is not kid friendly. Staff should learn how to work with children and be cheerful. Staff was dry and not welcoming at all. Maybe today was an off day because I see that others gave this place good reviews. Business should be geared towards children since it’s a children’s dentist. Don’t recommend this place, they take forever to take your children in to treatment. I had her appointment at 9:30 and it’s now 11:30 and still waiting, they haven’t called her in and not to say she’s fasting and still need to wait 45 mins the least once they give her oral treatment. Funny thing is that I received a text from them at 11:18 thanking us for our visit when she hasn’t even been able to be seen.

First time experience was okay. Staff treated my son very well. He was scared of the X-rays so the technician risked her finger to do it and he was okay with that after Mama had to get some reinforcement. Lol. Front desk was very nice and welcoming. Very clean. Staff gave son balloon and toy and toothbrush after visit and been waiting on a call back for further information and treatment. Staff continues to stay on one accord, you guys will do well.

Took my daughter here a year ago . My daughter had some cavities and they said I would have to pay 200$ out of pocket , even with my insurance. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE****** Just to note, already made my complaint to the “new office manager” about they’re unprofessional receptionists (specifically at check-in) they have there.. But the thing is, this isn’t the first time I receive terrible service... long story short, we as parents who take our children are there to advocate for them; no matter what the situation is, sometimes us as parents get there nervous and not to mention what our child is feeling as well so if I as Mom am asking thorough questions about their protocols, I should be receiving well disposed friendly helpful information in return NOT BAD MANNERED ATTITUDE TONE RESPONSES... I am exceedingly baffled with the people who work there..... and continue working there. Why do I still go is probably what you’re thinking; not just because it local but I’ve noticed the scenery and vivid abstract paintings of the office gives my daughter a sense of security and comfort during her visits. I’m just over this place. Oh, and just to say, sadly my friend had the same exact experience yesterday during her visit with her son and it was the same receptionist... unbelievable but believable. First of all, with covid this facility is not child friendly. They have no indoor seating and you are forced to stand outside without even a sun shade or any cover provided for this. Second they have open seating inside so there is no privacy and they have a lot of people in there at a time.(not covid friendly) second I have a 4 year old and her gag reflexes are horrible, I let the person taking x-rays know this ahead of time. Well our first visit she just ignored me and my daughter ended up throwing up. 6 months later I am finding out that the last visit they never took x-rays of her molars and now she has 8 cavities 1 needing a silver cap. The person that we worked last time never mentioned this and it could have possibly been avoided had they communicated the first time around. So beyond disappointed with service we received. The building looks "cute" but the actual service you service you receive sucks

If I could give them zero I most definitely would I took my daughter in as an emergency consultation due to her having a fall and shifting her front teeth I get there provide paper work and get taken right in BTW I have a PPO insurance, my daughter has a regular pediatric dentist but I took her here because I wanted her to be helped right away to avoid her being in pain the girl doing x rays wanted to get full x-rays which I asked to please just take x-rays of her front teeth which was the issue I could tell she became annoyed that I stopped her from doing all the x-rays they then proceed to sit my daughter in a open area with other kids walking Around with out a mask along with an employee. This place is a joke I was told my daughter would need to be sedated along with laughing gas and they basically tie them down along with you not being able to be in the room with them, yeah not on my watch I took her to her regular dentist where they were able to fix the issue with just laughing gas and local where I was able to be present and hold her hand! I can care less about this place as I will never use them again but I'm writing this review for the parents who may think you not being able to be with your child for a procedure is protocol, let me tell you it is not! Find a dentist who cares about your child.

Today was Olivia's first dental appointment. Not only was this place slow and behind, they made all the children wait outside in the sun. Once we finally got called in by the snobby receptionist who I kept informing my daughter was autistic; they sent out a worker who wasn't child friendly and didn't speak at all to us. Which upset Olivia to the point that she started throwing up and screaming because she was uncomfortable. At that point I cleaned it up while both the workers gave my daughter dirty looks as my mom took her to the car. The lady then tells me I'll clean it after I completely cleaned it all and sanitized the mishap. I looked at her and said maybe if you weren't 30 min late, with my daughter sitting in the heat and you were trained to work with kids this wouldn't of happened. I will be reporting this location to my insurance company. I am completely disgusted with the way they treated my 3 yr old daughter.

I paid over a grand for white fillings on my 2 year old son. And they still managed to put metal in his mouth and then capped with white caps, since then I refused to return there and have seen another childrens dentist... they let me know that what Magicland did was unacceptable and they wouldn't be able to see why my son was in pain because the metal encased the entirety of his four front teeth... my son has been there a few times due to pain and now has an infection and abcess above one of his teeth. New dentist said it was due to the caps Magicland placed over the metal I specifically asked them not to put in his mouth to begin with. On top of that the front office dental assistant was rude to my mother and I and said some snarky comments. So I wont be recommending this staff to anyone not even my worst enemies. Goodluck to all the parents taking their kids here. Be prepared to have to come back or switch dentists for more work due to malpractice.

Didn’t see much of any COVID-19 precautions. Super busy place. No one was keeping social distance and no one was checking temperature. My kids were given balloons *woww really during pandemic* , of course I had them trash it before getting in car. At the time of booking appointment I had gone over everything, yet when we got there complete chaos. Waited 30 minutes, asked them to check on waiting time, looks like they forgot they had us waiting in the car. Told them my daughter already had her X-ray done 2 weeks ago at there other location, yet they wanted to repeat the same X-ray. At this location it’s quantity over quality all the way. Other dental location of same company we have visited is just managed better with time and communication.

They don't let the parents in with the kids when there getting treatment done and by law a minor should always be able to be accompanied by a adult. I there where negative starts I wouldn't give them a -10. Instead of them letting me be with my son so he can getting his treatment done since he was in pain they decided to just give me my son back and not do the treatment on him and I even spoke to the manager and the manager said she will reschedule me until she spoke to corporate office and see if it was ok for me to be with my son during treatment. This office if full of it.

Some Front desk was nice. My son was diagnosed for some treatment and the doctor suggest for my son to be sedated to complete all treatment the same day. The front desk girl with black curly hair seemed very confused with every question I had about the procedure. I asked to speak to a manager and she said she didn't have one on site. RIDICULOUS! How could an office operate with no management present. Front office staff needs training. NOT GOING BACK!

My daughter had an appointment for oral surgery today at 10:30am. I get there early to fill out paperwork so I can make sure we will be seen at the right time. We were asked to wait out side and that I will get a call when they are ready for my daughter, I see that it's 11:20am and I still haven't got a call. I decided to call them and they told that it will still be another 45 min till they see her. Mind you she hasn't had anything to drink or eat since 8pm yesterday. On top of that I still had another patient in front of me. I decide to wait because I took the day of work to make sure my daughter got what she needed. 12:30pm rolled around and still no call. I waited in the parkin lot for 2 hrs. My daughter still had nothing to eat or drink. I go inside and asked to speak to a supervisor they told to wait a minute. They took long for that too. I leave and call and ask to talk to supervisor and they told me there's no supervisor at that location... WHAT!!!??? Terrible communication skills, horrible service my 4 year old daughter went all morning with no food or water for a waist of time. I feel like they just care for the money and not their actual patients they over book and don't care for your kids. They will never get my service again waist of time and money. No stars -10 I am very disappointed

Not a good place for small children. You’re not allowed to be with your child for treatments. Even if they’re super young. My son came with huge swollen lips and marks as if he’d been poked. He is now TERRIFIED of anyone in scrubs. The coordinator Melina quoted me something completely different from what she charged me. When I reviewed the invoice after I asked for it she had double charged me. When I called her to point that out she sent me a whole different invoice trying to makeup for the overcharged amount. I’ve been emailing for over a week with no response. I DO NOT recommend this place.

This place was great up until my son needed a procedure that would require sedation and I was told I could not be in the room with him. You wanted me to wait in my car?!?!?! While my 10 year old would be sedated in your office?!?! What in the world. I don’t not care about whatever Covid safety procedures you have, that’s inappropriate! Very creepy. Extremely uncomfortable. Parents beware. I’ve called two other pediatric dental offices and that is NOT how they do things. It’s too bad, because was a good office with great staff.

I finished getting my braces tightened and the dentist lady didn’t tell me to get up nor did she move the little movable table. I had to move everything myself to even get up I think she may have been made at herself for having trouble with tightening my braces. I took my 8 year old there today for the first time and she LOVES IT.. the staff is very friendly and professional. The inside looks like a circus so the kids can be calm when getting their treatment done! I will definitely take my other 2 who are pre teens back to this facility. They actually listen to you! Is a clean place, workers are professional and treated my son nice . I was scheduled to returned for a treatment that includes extraction and I was told I’m not allowed to see the procedure . Understandable but door should have a window where parents can see what’s been done to there child from outside the room. I mentioned my concern to the front desk and instead the lady gave me a attitude and tried to refer me to loma Linda . It would be nice to see what’s going on inside a room where my child is in . And just be there to support even from the hallway.

Took my daughter for an emergency appt, is not the first time we wait for more then two hours to be seen. This time it took three hours!!! Staff kept repeating themselves that my daughter will be seen shortly. That shortly came to three hours of wait time. Even before COVID-19 this office is always running with a staff who doesn’t know anything else besides sit there and charge dental insurance. There’s no type of customer service in this office. Front end employees are just on the phones, don’t bother to see how long patients are waiting for. I’ve seen couple occasionally times where other parents ask how much more time they have to wait and all they get from the front end is a small response let me ask Dr. Today one parent left because she was also waiting for more then an hour. Why schedule so many appts?

Incompetent front office workers, I would not recommend coming here. Waste of time! Beware! From my observation, the front office treats patients differently based on race! I made an appointment two week in advance to take my daughter in for treatment. Magicland confirmed the referral form was received the day before my daughter's appointment. When I arrived, the office claimed they don't have the form. I waited outside the office for 40 minutes and they still couldn't resolve the issue. My general dental office confirmed that the referral form was sent to them three times.

I wasn’t sure towards the end what the procedure was as I waited for them to call us to the counter, but that was no biggy I guess I will just follow up with them. So parents BEWARE this places uses your kids to extortion money out of them. So my first visit I was told my 4 yr old kid would be needing 4 crowns on front top teeth and the price out of pocket would be . $1,400 if i didn’t wanted to go with what insurance would cover. I had a gutt feeling i had to get a second opinion. However my husband's sister has her own dentist adult pratice and i went to him got new Xrays My kid only had a easy fix one cavity. I returned to Magicland to get it fix and asked only for filling on the tooth they try so hard to brain wash me, of excuses why she needed unnecessary crowns they supposably looked over at they’re old xray done over 2 months ago and found more cavities my kid now had 14 cavities. And Still 4 crowns needed to be done and more crowns on back teeth. When i expose the Dentist and the arrogant dental assistant they acted very unprofessional. I am glad i followed my mother gut feeling and saved my daughter from the pain they could of had caused her. To extortion and rob Insurances and hard working peoples money...!!!

My daughter is hyperactive (i mean most toddlers are) but the staff here are patient. Even though, most kids don't want to see the dentist, I don't sense any frustration on their part (especially when it is over 100 degrees outside, they are as cool as a cucumber; the temperature raises in their office slightly since they are facing the sun) Also, they are abiding by COVID-19 guidelines which is pretty difficult for children centric facilities.

The staff that does cleaning was rough with my daughter. Her previous dentist would be very gentle and took their time with the kids, but this staff member seemed rushed. I only went here because her doctor was out for a while and my daughter needed a new mouth guard. The doctor that attended my daughter was very short with me and didn’t listen to what I had to say when I wanted my daughter to be fitted for a new mouth guard and rushed off to the other patient. Also the flavors they give the kids have no taste and this is suppose to be for kids. My daughter threw up shortly after and out of all the dentist visits she has never threw up but since it had no flavor she did. I would not come here again.

I had an appointment at 9am and they didnt take me back for over an hour later. They are always running behind and take forever. I've been there 3 times already, thinking it was just a 1 time thing, but no. They take forever every single time. I will be switching dentists for my sons next visit. The appointment was for 9am, they said they had 9:30 in his charts (but my confirmation txt message says 9am , as well as the voicemail they left me to confirm). Two hours later we were still there and very little was done still and had us waiting even longer. Horrible, unorganized, not returning.

Worse experience ever. My son doesn't like coming to the dentist because his always afraid so I always like being with him to give him the comfort he needs. It was my first time at this facility and i was sent for a consultation to see if my son needed braces or not we were prepared with several questions to ask the orho. Unfortunately the lady assisting me stated they do not allow parents in the back area. I was very upset but moved forward with everything because nothing major would be done and I thought I would get the chance to speak with the ortho. My son got evaluated and we were taken to another room to discuss prices. I advised the lady assisting me of my experience and tried to ask her the questions I had for the doctor but she was unable to answer anything. She tried to get the doctor but he had left to lunch. I was upset and told her you see how its important for the parent to in the room with the minor and how important it is to interact with the doctor. I was left the same none of my questions got answered. She stated someone would call me and i have not heard back from anyone. I do not recommend this place and if you're a parent that doesn't mind sending your minor alone than is the place for you. I should have just scheduled my son, dropped him off, and left home while he attended his own appt.

Receptionist was really nice . they went over what my son needed she explained everything really good in details. Everything was clean love the decor on walls . the only thing that I didn't like was the fact the they don't let you be inside the room while your child in getting his services .

This has to be the WORST dental office I've ever encounter. They never return calls , they don't communicate what so ever. They lie and try to avoid your concerns, Just avoid explanation at all cost. But they make sure they charge my credit card each month with out any Problems even during Covid-19 Pandemic. That don't stop them. But as soon as you request to speak with MANAGER no one is ever available. They have made multiple mistakes with my daughter braces Over and over again. They are Just HORRIBLE. I don't even have time to write everything they have done. Please stay away from this establishment.

Our first time here today and my daughters really liked the Dentist and staff. Friendly customer service was outstanding. Truly appreciated the Dentist talking to me and letting know about my daughters treatment and answered all my questions and concerns. Staff was very caring and kind with my girls. Overall the office is very clean and well prepared to make sure everyone is safe (COVD-19). Thank you for the amazing service and my daughters loved the animal balloons ??.

GREAT experience!! My kids (3 & 5) went today for their first checkup and the staff was so kind and helpful. I was worried since my son is very fidgety and tough to sit still but they did a great job working with him. As far as the COVID precautions, they have great standards set in place that made us feel clean and safe

I was referred here by a friend of mine. This place was terrible! The receptionist was not friendly or welcoming. My daughter’s consultation was at 2:30 but we weren’t called into the back until a little after 3. We were seen right away and sent to the front to wait for the ortho manager to speak to me about pricing and payments. I waited until 4 PM and still wasn’t called. Took my daughter here to get a check up. They told me after the x rays that she had a big cavity under a filling . Went some where else for a second opinion come to find out she doesn’t even have a filling on that tooth let alone a cavity anywhere. So I well never be back. Be careful always get a second opinion.

Today was our first visit. The staff were kind, attentive and considerate. They were considerate of one of my children being more sensitive and shy than the other and made him feel very comfortable throughout the treatment process. Dr. Gebrail was beyond amazing with over all patient care and the treatment. She was so kind to my children and even asked me to the side if she could discuss things with my child as he can be easily embarrassed. I was blown away to get this kind of consideration and compassion from the staff. I definitely recommend this office to every parent.

I came here because I got this place recommended by family and I was ok with the first appointment with my 3 kids they let us be there with them during their cleanings and exam and everything was great but we had to come back for one of my kids because of needed work and when asked if I can be with my child during procedure they told me no because of "policy and because nitrous oxide is not good to be around" with their other pediatric dentist I NEVER had a problem with this and we would be in the room during all procedures!!! I was not in agreement with this and forcefully had to step out!! First of all knowing they are children parents should be allowed to be there if not comfortable leaving them alone and second of all nitrous oxide is not harmful if your in the room its dangerous if it's being misused and if pregnant there is a risk not if your just there so please don't lie to the parents!! I thought I would be happy but I might not be coming back here!!!

This was my first time coming to this facility and I was really impressed. It was clean and had such cute decor. We originally came just for a simple check up for my son but ended up having to get more work done than expected but let me tell you, Dr. Almasi and her assistant Lacey were beyond amazing. My daughter is autisic and they did an amazing job. This is the best dentisit we have ever been to. They have a play area for children a movie room for them they make them feel welcomed. While your child os getting ther teeth examed they have tv monitors for them to view so they get distracted while ur dentist is doing there check up. If your child is scared please bring them here. Very professional. Yes they take medical and some ppo. Just call them . walk ins are always welcome so easy!! I hope this help anyone looking for a new dentist or any dentist.

I had to go back 2x for the same problem. It seems like they don't know what they are doing. I almost had to go back a third time because after talking with the specialist about the treatment that was going to be done on Monday ,I came in with my son on Monday & they were going to do something way different from what we talked about & it didn't even include the problem area. Very frustrating. Lack of focus & communication. Don't think I will be going back

This place has the longest waiting time, my son was complaining about tooth pain and we literally waited over one hour just for him to get seen, add another hour inside for his check up. Over two hours waiting, that is ridiculous. And I still had to go the next day so they can do the procedure. This will be the last time we will come. Also you will never see the same dentist, they are constantly bringing different dentist from different sites. This place seems to be overstaffed with dental assistants but no one seems to know what they are doing.

I took my son to this place, the receptionist was very nice, the tecnician took x Ray, next the doctor told us my son needed 4 root canal and 6 crown, my husband and I decided to ask for second opinion and took my son with another dentist, he took x Ray again and came out he only has 2 cavities, he only need fillings, I will never come back to this place, my appt was with de guy doctor on Saturday.

Had the opportunity to return for my kids dental treatment and everything went as explained and as expected. Extremely happy with the service and experience provided from the entire team from the receptionists , treatment coordinators , dental assistants and doctors. Everyone is compassionate, caring and it is obvious they enjoy caring for the families . The children are given toys and balloons every visit . Impressive!!! Highly recommended!! Bring your family . You won't be disappointed. AMAZING STAFF, DOCTORS AND OFFICE!!! I used to take my family to another kids dentist. I had been searching for one closer to home. I am so grateful to have found this office. It's super kid friendly and the Doctor and staff are amazing . It's in the Renaissance Marketplace right off the 210 and Ayala. It's beautiful inside with a theater for the kids and tablets to keep them busy. I'll be returning again soon so I'll provide an update on my return visit. Highly recommended !!!

PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING HERE! My son had to get work done and would need to be sedated. I asked if I can stay in the room with him and I was told that the room is too small for me to be in there while they work on his teeth. I asked over and over to different staff, if I can go in the room and they said no. He seemed to be fine when they moved him into the other room to do the work. Then they said, “okay mom, we got it from here.” Like telling me to get out of there. Then an hour later they called me in to see him and the dentist was holding him as he was crying for me for a long time. He looked like he had been crying like that for the whole hour. And when I saw him, I can see a large cut on his lip. The lady that originally called me in was blocking the door and going over the post procedures and tells me that my son wasn’t staying still and got a cut on his lip. She finally moved out of the way and my son looks like he was crying for the whole hour he was being worked on and he has a huge cut on his lip and swollen. The dentist that was holding him says... it’s not as bad as it looks but he kept moving so he got cut. It literally looks like a cut from inside his lip all the way to the bottom of the outside of his lip! I was in shock. We left and my son kept telling me over and over, all tramatized, that he kept telling them for mommy and that he kept shaking his head and that they didn’t listen, that he kept crying for me and that they didn’t call me at all, that they held his hands down under the blanket and he couldn’t do anything but cry. My son kept showing me how they were holding him down. Why didn’t they call me when he started crying and moving to the point that they cut a huge part on his lip?!?! Everyone keeps asking if he fell really bad or what happened to his lip. And now he randomly starts talking about the dentist and he starts crying as he remembers it. My son was literally traumatized!! Do not come here unless you want your kid tortured for a whole hour with out you even knowing what’s going on till the very end.

Made an emergency appointment for my daughter because her cap fell off. I notified them she would be a new patient therefore she obviously had her dental work else where. Drove all the way there just for them to say they couldn't proceed that we would have to go back to where her cap was originally done when they could've mentioned that over the phone and save everyone some time. They also weren't very informative and they were barely able to do the X-rays in her mouth. Just very unorganized overall. My daughter is 2, she was scared and crying and they just stopped and looked at her, told me i can sit her on the chair or sit with her and hold her or not hold her. It seemed they just weren't well or good at all handling toddlers and young kids. I never been so frustrated with taking my daughter to the dentist but this office was ridiculous i just had to walk out!
