My 2-year-old son needed a tooth extraction, and as a parent, I was understandably anxious about the procedure. However, the staff went above and beyond to explain everything clearly and patiently, which helped ease both my worries and my son’s. They were incredibly kind, gentle, and worked so well with him, talking to him through it! ,making the whole experience much smoother than I expected. I was able to comfort him throughout the procedure as well, which I really was thankful for. Dr. Partova was excellent, and her assistants were just as wonderful. I took my 2-year-old for his second visit, and he was thrilled by the welcoming atmosphere and the friendly staff. He particularly enjoyed the large screen that was showing a movie. The entire team was exceptionally warm and kind. The Dental Assistant made a significant impression on his experience, taking the time to build a rapport with him and clearly explaining each step of the process. He was filled with laughter and joy throughout the visit. Later that same day, I brought my 6-year-old son. Although he felt a bit anxious at first, he ended up really enjoying his dental appointment. He enthusiastically expressed how much he loved visiting the dentist. He stated that the Dental Assistant lady was very nice. He then received a no cavity certificate, which made him incredibly happy.

Please do not take your children to the clinic, the X-ray staff does not even interact and are serious with the children. During the cleaning they hurt one of my daughter's teeth and the trauma when they happened gave her a root canal treatment on a cavity. My 6-year-old girl didn't even cry with her anesthesia. She was very calm and it was all about the dentist starting to work on the tooth to make her scream, she said that it hurt and she felt like she was dying more with the water and cold that they put on her. three nurses and the father helping her on her feet and working on her without pain, the doctor told me that my baby felt like chili, her tooth and holm oak couldn't breathe because of so much pain and stress, the veins in one eye burst and her blood felt like she was torn in life and for them it was normal that the noise scared her, which she didn't feel, and she did it quickly without asking herself if she was in pain. Do not leave your children alone, and even less so if they tell you that it hurts, believe them. They told me that the children were scared because of their age, that's why they cried.... they are not competent personnel to do work like that. My daughter was tortured and abused, practically everything was against her will. She begged that they no longer work on her, which hurt too much, and even then they said that they should finish.... they hurt her, she has a fever, her little eyes are like that, and her cheek is swollen and it hurts a lot.

Brought our daughter here for her first visit and we came in as a walk in. It was an emergency because she had an infection and needed a cleaning and extraction. The staff was very kind, professional and broke everything down for us and answer all our questions. She still needs work done so we have an appointment coming to finish the rest of the work. I’m very grateful that they were able to accommodate us and they are also amazing with kids and making them feel comfortable. I look forward to the future at this office for my child.

Dentist’s need to give Saturday schedules, office needs to understand that public works from Monday to Friday same as kids they have schools Monday to Friday and for not every family is ideal to come at 3 pm specially when office takes extremely long with appointments, no matter if your appointment is 8 or 4 - you are expected to wait 2 + hours. Giving families opportunity to come Saturday is less disturbing and kids don’t miss their academic classes just because they need to come for braces every 4 weeks. When I signed up and paid full for braces I was assured by this office that Saturday schedule will be available otherwise I wouldn’t chose this office. And to this comment- office staff instead of offering solution just stated - we can discontinue the care. Not compassionate at all to public and their needs. Same as a manager kept stating that it’s normal for doctors not to come before 9 or 10 and not work any days they don’t want. This is a kindergarten not professional place.

My kids have been coming here for some years now , I’ve had my good and Bad experiences, but just this last time was not acceptable. My daughter had an appointment 3:30 and was even there earlier and didn’t get called around 4:40 pm she went in for 3 cavities she needed to get filled. She got numbed as well as getting laughing gas, and the Doctor only did one side of her mouth and she told my 15 year old daughter she didn’t feel good that she wasn’t able to get started with the other side that got numbed. They never told my older son that took her in for her appointment ,why was she getting rescheduled , I find it very unprofessional that the doctor and staff speak a different language right in front of their patient’s .I also find it unprofessional that the receptionist have their children in the front office on working hours. My kids felt that they were not treated with any professionalism since I Wasn’t there. Only because the parent wasn’t able to take them, doesn’t make it OK to treat patient like they don’t matter. This would be my last time attending the office.

As a first time dad, I was going through guilt with my daughter having too many cavities but I can guarantee the entire team at Magicland along with Dr Kang from Elite Sedition made each and every step easy and comfortable. They are incredible in making kids feel safe which is most important as a parent. I decided to go with IV Sedation so my daughter would not be traumized from future dentist visits and I can assure you that it is a very safe route to take to get everything done at once. They left my daughter’s teeth looking amazing! Will definitely be switching my daughter and son over to this dentist office permanently even if it’s an hour away from us, it is definitely worth the drive. Thank you to everyone once again.

Worst experience ever. If I can leave no stars I would. Anytime my kids have work done here days later the work is messed up. From fillings falling out to braces falling off. Then they have the audacity to try to charge u every time they have to re do the work they had to do right in the first place. one day I took in my 5-year-old to get a cleaning, and she walked out with a chipped front tooth. like how does that even happen? I've tried to give this place a chance over and over but it's not worth it. the ladies in the front are nice so I guess they are the only good thing coming out of this place.

I had braces prior to joining Magicland Dental. I went in for a consultation, and was offered to get my braces removed for free by a male orthodontist. I ended up not being able to go through with the braces because I was homeless, and it no longer became a priority for me. I called asking MULTIPLE times to end my contract with them. After about 3 months, they decided to end it. My card was being charged with no procedure. My card is always locked. They ended up taking the whole cost AND MORE of my braces regardless of me ending the contract a month prior. Constantly called about an Audit on my profile/account and have been put aside this whole time. They then went under new management and I am STILL being swept under the rug about this dispute. I have been cordial and patient, but it has gone to a point where I have a debt from a contract that was neglected and ignored from this company and its workers.

My daughter had a bad experience in another place and gets scared going to the dentist. She had cavities and needed crowns. Her at Magic Dental they tried to do fillings with local anesthesia but she did not let them do the work that was needed. I was given the option to do general anesthesia and all the work would be done at once. I was a little scared but she did really well. Dr. Lee explain what's going to happen and answer all my questions. He made my daughter feel comfortable before they even started so she was not nervous at all. Before the procedure they send paper work regarding her health, the day of the appointment we went over my concers. I was given instructions previous to coming and after. Overall it was a pleasant experience and most of all less traumatic for my daughter, that what matters the most.

I'm not one to leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience this time. So I walked into Magicland dental office with no appointment, hoping my children can be seen. The receptionist was very nice and welcoming, she promptly took my insurance info and managed to fit them in their busy schedule. Turns out my boys needed several procedures that required immediate attention, however the staff did not hesitate to assist, they throughly explained the treatments and broke down the cost. I loved that they allowed me to be present during all treatments/procedures to comfort my kids through the entire process. Although we spent about 4 hrs to get everything done, we left feeling reassured that my children received amazing care and treatment even without a prior appointment. I really want to thank the staff for their heartfelt commitment and professionalism that made this experience as smooth as possible for my family. If you want to go to a place where staff not only knows what they're doing, but also love's what they do, go to Magicland Dental!!

Today was my son’s first time attending this dental office. Because my son had a very traumatic experience at another dental facility, going in was really nerve wrecking for the both of us. This place not only changed my son’s perspective of dental facilities and put him at ease, It also made my experience as a parent so much easier! Everyone was amazing, from the front desk girls, to the X-ray tech, all the dental assistants, and Not to mention the incredible Dr. They all had so much patience and compassion, and they were just truly incredible. I'm seeing alot of fake bot reviews saying that this is the best place but really it is not and it will do its best to cover that up. This place is horrendous and traumatizes children. Sure , kids are bound to be scared of the dentist. But why is there a no parent rule? Why is the kid not allowed to have their protector in the room where they already feel unsafe?? Is it because if you mess things up you will have a witness??? Then maybe just dont have idiots for staff. I think this goes without saying but don't do a service where you will have to lie to cover your wrongdoings, especially when it comes to children. This places lies and cheats you out of money AND the health of your children. Do. Not. Go. Here.

This place is absolutely horrid. They lie to your face and don't let you go in with your child so you cannot be a witness if they do something stupid. They have the most incompetent staff (in all aspects) that do random things without even telling the parent first. They dont allow parents in because if they mess up, there is no witness except for the child, which won't be believed.

Bad service, they tricked me, I took my 4-year-old child for the first time and they told me that he had a cavity in a tooth and that he needed root canal and crown treatment. They made another appointment for me to do the work that I said I needed, they forcibly gave him anesthesia and then they realized that I didn't have any cavities, while my child cried from the manipulation that they did that was not necessary. His response to everything was "UPS we were wrong, come in two weeks and we'll see how it is." That place is useless, it is not worth going, they are only looking to make money and the service is terrible, everyone is in the wrong position. They don't know anything. They are liars.

This office is the worst they play with your time and are also liars they knew I wouldn't have a doctor today and they waited for me to arrive with my 4 year old daughter on an empty stomach to lie more and tell me that they can't see me supposedly because today they found out they didn't have a doctor and they sent me all the way to North Hollywood and here they tell me they don't have my daughter's crowns that they have to go pick them up in Pacoima then that if my daughter doesn't let them do the treatment they won't be able to do it because here they don't put them to sleep and the supposed manager from the other office told me if they are really that stupid they play with one's time and in the meantime I have to have my daughter without food because of the lies from the Laurel Canyon office disgusting liars and to end up here in Vineland they only put gas in my daughter they anesthetized her and in the end they didn't put her to sleep because they don't sleep the liar from the Laurel Canyon office said yes bunch of liars

If you want to waste your time to be treated, without a doubt go to this clinic! I arrived before my appointment time and I was waiting for an hour and 30 minutes and my children were never seen! Their staff is rude and they don't show any empathy! definitely the worst clinic in Pacoima

Do not come here. I do not recommend it. The people there come and go. Its like a revolving door with them. The service you get is horrible. They don't know how to add. I paid $3000 up front because they told me I would get $1,000 discount for my son's braces, then months later their collection office called me saying that I owed $750.00 because they had made a miscalculation. On multiple occasions I have walked in to update the Dental Insurace and they still bill the previous insurance. Their response when I was talking over the phone was we are updating our computer software and the update did not take effect until today, while at the Same time I can here the other office workers laughing in the background. I have never had any problems with any dentist office until I started taking my kids to Magicland. I will not recommend Magicland to any friend, family member, or third party.

This office is honestly the worst. They always give us misinformation about what we need to do with our insurance for our daughters appointments. They always reassure us everything is set and then we show up for appointments for our daughter to be told she can’t be seen because we didn’t get the correct referral. This has happened 3 times. Don’t waste your time. I’ve used probably 8 hours of my vacation and sick time from work just to show up for appointments and have them tell us they can’t see our child. It just happened again today. Disorganized, dishonest, go elsewhere.

I have been in contact with both the corporate office and the Pacoima location regarding a refund for a service that was not completed on August 22nd. It has now been over a month, and I have been informed that the refund has not yet been approved or processed. I must express my frustration regarding the prolonged delay in issuing this refund. I was initially told that the refund process would take 2-3 weeks, and it has far exceeded that timeframe. Due to the extended delay Magicland should also applying a late penalty fee to my refund. Nancy or Sophia, I kindly request your immediate attention to this matter.

August 22nd, during which we encountered several issues.Despite arriving 15 minutes early for my son’s appointment, we had to wait for an hour before my son was called in. While I understand that medical facilities can experience delays, it was disheartening to witness patients who arrived after us being called in ahead of my son. A simple communication about the delay would have been greatly appreciated. Additionally, during this visit, we paid for services that were not completed. I took my children to this dental office for a second opinion and i was so impressed with the cleanliness, how personable the staff was and how quickly they saw my children. From the beginning , karen went above and beyond dealing with my insurance to make sure i will be seen. Upon entering i was greeted by the sweetest front desk ladies : Baci and Jamie. Dr Noura made sure that my kids first visit went well! She was able to calm her nerves and she did a wonderful job educating me on all the possibilities that were needed for my child. I was impressed with how the office managers - Jenny and Mayra handled my financial situations and took the time to explain to me.Mary did a great job removing the stain and my child was seen for treatment . Lexi the assistant took the initiative to take care of my child while the doctor was getting ready to see her. I am truly impressed . 10/10 take your children! Also, my phone was dying and they charged my phone while i waited. Most offices dont do that .

The first time it didn't fit The second time less cancels the appointment The third time they summon us and at that moment they realize that the laboratory had not sent the device. I LOVE THE DOCTORS AND THEIR ASSISTANTS! That’s why I keep trying to give you guys a second, third, a fourth chance. But I do fear we are done with your office. OFFICE STAFF IS ONE OF THE WORST WEVE ENCOUNTERED. Lazy, no professionalism, insurance is ALWAYS an issue. Verification. Today the receptionist claimed she couldn’t reach anyone in insurance, my husband tried calling himself and he got in. When he came back the receptionist said she only calls once and that we needed to make another appointment. What?!!!! Last visit we will have there. Wish the docs all the best of luck being successful with an office staff like that. Also, not a fan of not being able to go in with the kids. I have a 3 year old and I was not able to go in with him? Not comfortable with that.

orthopedics manager is rude, rolled her eyes at me was looking down on me. I felt disrespected they refused to see my daughter, so my daughter did not get services. I have had enough from this office so I have decided to go elsewhere, and I have stopped payment from insurance company this office sucks, people are rude and have no sympathy for others. this office has lost more than one office managers for poorly made contracts and extremely overpriced. If you need ortho work I would highly recommend 360 orthodontics it’s only $2000 for braces you cannot beat that magic Dental charges over $5000.

The good reviews are for regular dentists, but for braces it is the worst. They have already spent 30 months of treatment and they still want more time to continue collecting, I told them to take them away and they got angry, be careful what they do because they accumulate everything in their file, and in the end they end up with a bill, which If you don't pay, they won't remove the brakes, I finally managed to get them removed the other month, but before that he wanted to charge me 80 dollars because he broke 2 pieces of the brakes and I told him why am I going to pay for them if he already leaves them? to remove, and they come out saying, it's still not right. And my son is almost 3 years old. Don't go back to them, the good thing is that you are not my son's primary dentist, I only come for the braces. I'm not coming back here anymore.

I made an appointment for my daughter and when i arrived the office was so full of people ,I arrived 15 minutes early i was told the wait time was 1hr to 1.5hr , I ask why I had to wait if I had made an appointment and the receptionist replied they were understaffed, I completely understand it at least be a little professional and advise parents there appointment has been pushed to 12pm or 1pm, or stop scheduling so many people at the same time that’s why you make an appointment to be seen at a timely manner. will deff not be taking my child back again.

My appointment made a week prior was never booked appropriately. When I walked in for the visit, they couldn’t find my information. We were able to get in as a walk in. There is a sign that says parents are not allowed inside with children. Had I been aware of this prior, I would not book appointment. It was my sons first visit and I did not feel comfortable. I asked if I could go inside, I had seen other parents come inside. I was told no. When I voiced my concern, I was told that I was complaining?! Even if a customer does not agree with said policy, there is such a thing as bed side manners. I will advocate for my child and when I do, I expect an individual that is working with children to have a better approach to concerns. When I shared my boundaries, they said that I didn’t mention them to anyone. I did. To the front desk and to the person taking my child. My boundary was completely disregarded and she kept talking about services that need to be done. No, thank you. You just lose $7000 in business from me.

No communication about my son’s Ortho treatment. A month ago we were there for about 3 hours and nothing was done just processed the payment. Today we go again to his appointment and was told he should’ve been scheduled an appointment in one week and we were not told anything. Visit today only consisted of putting in spacers, and then in one week we have to go again. Yet nobody communicates the process and they don’t schedule the appointments accordingly. I asked for a Saturday appointment and the RUDE girl at the front desk said the next available was until April. If I took the April appointment nothing would be done today. So now I have to change my entire schedule to accommodate this last minute notice of appointment!! I have school and my son has school on Thursdays and no accommodations were made being this was THEIR MISTAKE!! Looking to see if I can find another children’s dental place before Thursday!! Woke up early and drove in the horrible rain just for spacers and then go again one week later! ????????

Don’t go to this place! They’re over booked, they have a no parent rule in the back with your child and the lady with short hair is such a rude mean lady my child is afraid of her! I signed a contract for braces in which I made the mistake to not read it due to the verbal agreement I was given by Irma Parra she told me that the payments were going to be done through them to pay the credit that I had just opened but that was incorrect I have to pay both the credit and the office oh and by the way she’s no longer working there and I wonder why. When I asked the manager he said he can’t do anything about it. After 3 months my child has only have top braces and they keep saying the lab is making mistakes and keep scheduling me just to change the bands when my child needs a lot more work done! I’m just fed up with the lies frustrated and angry with this place I really don’t recommend it to anyone Specially when your paying out of pocket!

Worst place to take your kids to. The staff was very rude. I went in today for my son’s appointment and the front dest girl was extremely rude that I had to leave. She asked me to go to Target to purchase a mask because I forgot to take one in. I kindly asked if they can please provide me one but they said they don’t do that for their clients. I would never go back or recommend this location to anyone. I have spent a lot of money at this location with my kids having braces and other procedures done there. I had an issue with one of the girls from the counter Yasneth , not sure if that was her real name but she was root . You guys used to have friendly staff on the counter, we were the first ones and after the incident I had to approach to the counter to asked if my son was going to get seeing after 8 patients going in front of us my son got to see the dentist,not sure what really happened with your customer service, specifically from that girl? Did talk to the manager who arrived after 8:30a.m. After seeing that this girl went into his office on closed doors to explain Tony “the manager “ he took 15 minutes to call me to discuss about the incident , I’ve requested him to go to his office in close doors he implied that it was fine just to do so by the counter, which I did, he informed that he was going to handle it and that he will give me a call later which I’m still waiting, then my wife got to talked to him “Tony “ the manager and also he said that I’ve signed the wrong signing log explaining himself that probably that’s the reason why my son got seeing after 8 patients ? A dentist visit it’s supposed to be pleasant but with people running a business like this no wonder customer are looking for something better.

The first day I brought my son everything went very quickly but now every time I have an appointment for his braces I always have to wait more than 40 minutes for them to call him and I regret having him taken there. That's supposedly why you have an appointment, but I think they have too many appointments at the same time, which is why they take so long, I definitely don't recommend it. And besides, they give me my appointment at 12:30 and they are going to have their lunch. They shouldn't make appointments at lunch time because we have to wait more than an hour.

This place is amazing for kids and parents! The staff is always so kind and helpful. Everyone is really sweet with the kids. I had to bring one of my twin baby girls for a crown treatment, ( she chipped her right front tooth) friends and family scare me saying that was a very stressful procedure for a 21 month old baby, but Dr. Parker and his assistants were so nice with the whole procedure, it was quick and the results are amazing! My girl is eating perfect and with no pain. No trauma no bad side effects. I’m glad I chose Magic land and the great staff to help my daughter. Now we all are smiling and really happy! The operating manager Meza was very rude.The dentist had already let me stay by the hallway to see my son while he had a Procedure and Tony Meza said The policies of the office were that I could not go in the room. When I asked him to show me where was it in writing and if I had signed something that I wanted to see it, he yelled and said" that is it I am not arguing with you". I said I am only asking you a questions that you do not want yo answer. Most likely because there no such a rule or is not written. He did not want to give me the cooperate phone number .When I asked again for the number he pointed at me with his Pen and told me to look for it at the website. He was also laughing sarcastic when I mentioned him that my son looked that he was not having a good experience inside the room. HE even told me that I had to leave or they would stop the Procedure . I told him stop the Procedure because I had always been allowed to be inside.he told me that he recommended to go to.another dental office to continúe with services. When I talked to regional manager it took me almost 2 Hours to leave a message. He called back and only apologized to me but Meza was not going to receive a warning in writing. THIS IS THE worst experience ever

Don’t Bring Your Children to this dentist and if you do make sure you ask your child how was their experience my 7 year old got a molar extracted and said she was in pain and told the dentist and all he said was no your not in pain and has they were almost done extracting it was hurting her really bad so she began screaming of pain and what the dentist did was to get mad at her. I spoke to them and all they said was that young students say and it’s not true how the hell excuse my language do you know what my child feels or not. Worst experience ever my daughter is know traumatized.

Very bad service. We got a referral there after going to another dentist who did a cleaning and they still insisted on doing a cleaning and charged us for it. They charged our insurance excessively. I have a 4 year old boy and the first visit during covid times was tricky but it was a nice environment. They played Moana the movie! Didn’t really get what the doctor was saying but the 2nd visit a different doctor, Dr. Jo was very sweet and explained thoroughly the situation and was understanding. A few points to cover - the location is new, so everything is clean and crisp. The admin staff was attentive and professional and the medical staff was patient and friendly, which I thoroughly appreciate! The space was kid friendly, which made my child excited to see all the bright colors and murals around the office. I would suggest ponywalls to separate the kids in the exam room, other than that, I was able to keep my child calm and attentive...a little bribery with icecream doesn't hurt lol.

Receptionist is great and pleasant place looks clean. My complaint is about over booking time. I came in for a Invisalign consultation at 8:30am (and we always show up ahead of time) I even prefilled all my paperwork prior to my appointment as I happen to just randomly walk in to set the appointment up after being at the chase next door. I find it extremely disrespectful to waste peoples time. You’re ortho is overly booked and it is unprofessional to sit over an hour plus an appointment time to go in and wait some more. I never signed anything where I will lose a half day of work to be there. It is definitely something you need to work on. Time literally is money and you are messing with it while charging people a fortune. Have some consideration of people and their times. This includes children. They miss a half day to a whole day to go to you abs this does not sit right. In addition, you will probably be upset or cancel an appointment if they are past the grace period. At this point do not have appointments. This does not happen in Sherman oaks or the west valley. Another thing to consider. Is it because of the ethnicity of race if the social economical class that comes to you (mainly Latino community). Please take other peoples times into consideration. It is not fair to jam packed people like sardines in a can in a waiting room. I waited the entire time when I decided I’m worth more and this is unacceptable. The community you serve do not believe in complaining or Yelp reviewing or reporting of any kind and that to me is abuse in your part knowing this.

We had our first appointment today with Dr Josefson. Very impressed. They were very kind to my daughter. And due to rare genetic issue (EDS) and Autism they were very inventive and flexible about how they planned to get the dental work that she needed done. They listened to my input and to my daughter. The dentist was knowledge about my daughters conditions, which is rare! And we were both very happy with the service we received. We would definitely recommend.

Took my child(6) to her first visit, they told me that they’d call me back once her X-rays were done so I can be there for the exam. I waited an hour the first time I came with my 18mo old. Ok, I get it, insurance has to be verified. Not an issue, so I offered to pay the $50 fee to see the doctor. At that point my time was more valuable and to wait with a toddler is a challenge in itself. When I got out my husband had called and spoke to their billing manager and it was squared away. So their corporate office refunded the $50 I had paid. This was not the reason for the bad experience. Made an appointment for my 7 year old. Husband brought him that time. Husband was in a packed waiting room for 30 minutes. Near to impossible to Social distance with the number of people waiting. So, he felt uncomfortable. He asked why he hadn’t been called and they informed him there were many other appointments ahead of him. Needless to say, my husband was not a fan of this place from the get go, so he left when he was informed there were many others ahead of him. Decided to give them another try. Made a second appointment for my 7 year old. I informed your office staff about the insurance issue the previous visit, and that the insurance was the exact same as my 18 month old. They informed me they couldn’t get a hold of insurance. This is where I got frustrated and was no longer patient. Offered to front the money again. Again, my time is more valuable. My own dentist has NEVER had an issue with my insurance, so I know our insurance is not the issue. I will NOT be coming back here again. Many other children's dentist in the valley. Only reason why I kept coming back was because the doctor was super sweet with my 18mo old and my son. Bedside manners were incredible with my kids. BUT, there are many other children dentists in the valley. This is why they get 2 stars. LOVED the dentist, but the logistics of having to get seen by here were upsetting.

Not a very good experience, they have a nurse who is very rude to me with the children, plus they don't let you come in with your child, don't let us know what they do inside if you don't let the work on the teeth be done, my child is 4 years old and they didn't let me in. I don't know if it's how hard they squeeze them with the blanket. another dentist aside and for everything they are pure extractions on the teeth I have 3 children and they told all three that they were going to extract a tooth but that helps me experience to look for another dentist

I do not recommend this clinic. My son had his brakes installed 4 months ago and out of nowhere they fall off or break and it turns out that they want to start charging me for each broken brake in addition to charging for the entire treatment. Today I took him for the fourth time. occasion with broken brake parts that my son almost swallowed them and the worst thing is that my son's treatment will last 2 years ??

I am very disappointed! My child went and I was told that my son's teeth were going to be taken out. They didn't even give me his the 2 teeth they took out. They didn't even ask me if I wanted them. They threw them out. And they don't give you a copy of instructions on what to do next after the appointment. They just give you a verbal and that's it. How sad and unprofessional.

Wonderful first experience here! Everyone from the front office, office manager, x-ray tech, and the dentist are truly so sweet, patient, and helpful. Even the other patients and the families were so sweet! The office has a circus theme with a big waiting area, video games, and even a movie theater where Toy Story was playing. Super cute! I highly recommend this pediatric dentist office. Happy to have found this office for my girls!

My daughter had her 1st dentist appointment on June 19th and requires to go back on July 10th to correct her cavaties. I was promised a c/b for June 21; As of today, I have not received a call back to know how much is going to cost me out of pocket and/or how much my insurance covers. I'm very close to canceling my appointment and going elsewhere. Very disappointed

I am so Thankful we found this Dental office. A close friend told me about how great their experience was at Magicland Pacoima. So we decided to bring my Autistic Son to Magicland. Our experience has been amazing!! They have been so accommodating with my son's needs. We drive here from the Antelope Valley once a month for his orthodontist appointment and it is totally worth the drive!! I totally recommend this office for any child with or without special needs. AND the office is super clean and there are things for the kiddos to do while they wait. Especially love the small movie theatre.. Amazing place!! I took my toddler here for his first dental appointment. There are balloons, colorful murals and screens everywhere to make it a fun experience. There's even a theatre in the waiting room! The office is very clean and they have all of the Covid protocols in place. He was very nervous, but the staff was so friendly and great at making him (and me) feel comfortable.

I started bringing my kids to this dental location because my previous children's dentist wasn't child friendly they scared my 1 year old, my 3 year old dreaded the dentist. Since coming here just the first time my kids loved it my 11 year old just had praises on his experience, both my 1 and 3 year old let their teeth be brushed. My 3 year old keeps saying dentist said I have to brush my teeth everyday. I loved how patient the staff is with children they made sure my children were comfortable and not scared. My 1 year old was laying down head on drs lap and her legs on mine and the dr kept talking to her she was scared but relaxed once it was over she didn't scream historically like with previous dentist. Highly recommend this location.

My boys had their first dental visit here today and wow they really liked it here. My 7 year old actually did not panic (he had a traumatic experience when he was like 4 at a doctor visit that ever since he would be afraid to visit the doctor or even the dentist). Definitely amazed by how friendly the staff was and how interactive they were with my boys. We will definitely keep coming to this dental office.

I had to drive 1.5 hours to this office as no local office would accept my insurance. Everyone at this office is amazing. They truly care about their patients. My child need a good amount of work done and they were able to treat her that day so we would not have to make another trip. My daughter was so relaxed and enjoyed her time at the dentist. She can't wait to go back. If you are in the LA area and looking for a great pediatric dentist this is the one you want. Thank you again for the amazing service! I thought my appointment(s) where at 12:30pm, but in reality my appointment where set for 12pm (yikes). Despite that my arrival time was at 12:15 technically I'm late. They took both of my children ages 6 and 9. They where both excited as soon as they walked into the building. Nice atmosphere was very peaceful. Friendly staff! My kids where happy with their goodie bags at the end of their visit! Thanks!

First of all Magicland Dental Group the actual office from the outside all the way in is absolutely beautiful and childlike. Today they had an Easter Bunny out front making balloons for the children. For my children they love Easter and this was a nice surprise. Not to mention the decor at the actual office the TV's the game PlayStation and the actual office itself is very clean open and the staff are very very welcoming. I had some issues with my insurance and the manager was able to help me in spite of my difficulties. During this time and all that we are going through and I world today I was having a really hard time getting my children to the appointments that I made three times previous to today. So to not have them be seen today would have been such a loss of time. However, the manager was graceful enough to see us in spite of the difficulty. For this I was truly grateful to God that my children were able to be seen today. We made another appointment in about a month for my children to be seen once more. I look forward to this appointment. I would highly highly recommend Magicland Dental Group for any child to go to. My children love going to this dental office they are actually excited to go. I pray for continued success for Magicland, the staff, and all the patients that are to come. Be Blessed

Where do I even begin. Waiting room had over 6 people. X-ray tech was rude and not friendly. I was not given enough instruction when dentist came in the room to do the exam on my daughter. It was an absolute nightmare. Dentist did not even try to interact with my 2 year old. For a dental office that specializes in children, they didn’t know how to treat my child. The only employee that did an amazing job was the one that did the prophy because she interacted with my child. Not Impressed. Will not be taking my daughter back to any magicland dental.

I moved from a Van Nuys office to the pacoima office and like always the staff from the back office is really nice and helpful but much to say about front staff there are some people that are so rude and of course it’s the same girl that travels from Pacoima to van nuys she just looks like she hates her job don’t know her name but I will try to get it for the next time

As a parent, I did my research do ensure my son was going to be taken care of... And I’m glad I chose this dentist office. It was very close to home. The entire staff has amazing customer service. They’re all kind and understanding. They are doing a good job at taking covid protocols, to ensure the safety of the guest and staff. The young lady who took my sons X-rays was very sweet and explained everything that she was doing. The doctor was great! The receptionist were very helpful and friendly; she saw how nervous I was and was able to calm me down and ensured me, my son was in good hands. I decided to bring my children to this Dental office after a bad experience in another dental place. My 8 year old son tends to ask questions about what is going to be done to him and the Dentist explained to him with details and was very patient with him. My 6 year old had his first teeth removed and he was so proud of it! They were also so patient with my 3 year old dental check up! Receptionist here were great, back office wasn't as friendly. Doctor wasn't nice at all. This assistant with blue eyeliner said i could not be in the hallway carrying my baby because it was a health hazard however, their fire extinguisher glass door was open, unlocked so anyone that walked by too close could have swung it open. My daughter told me that when I was not in the room the assistant told the doctor just don't talk to her don't say anything(gives me sign that they probably say mean things to other kids when they're parents are not around) My daughter is 9, she also told me the assistant told her tell your mom you had a great experience and that you want to come back and that we were all very nice to you. Uuumm I'm sorry, if you want to control and manipulate my daughter into coming into your business, we're not!! Very Very unprofessional!!! PS I don't even think the dentist there is a certified Pedodontist. She might just be a general dentist.

This was my daughter’s 1st visit to this office. The facility was really clean and the staff were extremely nice, friendly and professional. It was very colorful and inviting for young children. Even though the referring dental office did not provide me with the referral, they called the other office to have the referral sent over. I was also able to email them the copy of the daughter’s insurance card because I totally forgot to bring it. I am glad the daughter will be having her services here. They appear to actually see children her age (4y/o) and are prepared to work with them in a gentle and caring manner!

Today was my daughters first visit at this dental office, and I love how friendly the staff is to the kids. My daughter is 3 and I thought she would cry, but no the dental assistant and the doctor were very informative. Letting my daughter know what they were doing to her and explaining what each tool was for and just gain her trust. Was a major plus for me! I would really recommend this place for my friends and family! Compare to other children dental place. This one I liked this dental office!

Hi .. I want to share my excellent experience I had today . I took my son for a ortho consultation and front desk girls are nice ,the doctor and the guy assistants are so nice... I’m happy to see also males in the office my son and I felt very confortable with them... that was a 10. After they referred me to the lady in charge of the cost ... the fist thing she said Hi my name is Mary and I will be helping you to get you started. She was very nice and professional and yes she did made it happen, she took the time to explain and answer all my questions... Horrible never going back they tied my baby's wrists so tight they stopped the circulation and my baby's hands were swollen and purple when I was able to return to the room and the dark Hispanic lady tried to tell me that, that's how her hands are cause she's chubby I know my child ,then she tried to massage her hands saying let's start some circulation going ,her hair was mess like she had been strangled, they left bruising on her cheekbones I believe from them holding her to tight ,so what the point of medication and that laughing gas if they still have to manhandle a child like this ,and yes I took pictures immediately and further action will be taken, horrible experience nothing magical about this place

Great Office. I love the staff my kids had so much fun in the game room and when they got tired they went inside the theater room and watch "How to train a Dragon." Minutes later they both got call in at the time and 30 minutes after they were done. Wow thank you Mary (Office Manager) for all your help with Insurances your team is Amazing!!!! From personal and working experience, I don’t like this office , my children came here long before I started working there , but the new staff is horrible , they treat the kids so aggressively, I have not worked at that office in over a year and when I take my kids for a appointment, one of the older staff , plain out starts whispering about me loud enough for me to hear to the other dental assistants , while working there I tried to keep it professional as possible , but if you are going to talk bad about me during MY CHILDRENS appointment just because of your personal feelings towards me , you shouldn’t be working at all. Maira the RDA is very unprofessional with kids. Control your staff seriously. This is a children’s dentist not a high school where you whisper about the people coming in.
