I have heard many people’s horror stories from their dentists and I can honestly say I have had never had an issue with mine. A story worth noting is that when I had my wisdom teeth removed, my oral surgeon asked for my dentist’s name. Once he found out it was Dr. Hickerson he made sure to let me know that in his opinion he is the best dentist in Houston. It was great to hear that from another doctor and only reinforced the feelings that I have for this office. I love all of the staff but if i had to recommend a hygienist it would be Donna. She always has her patients best interest in mind and overall is a down to earth and kind person. 10/10 recommend Dr. Hickerson! Update: Dr. Hickerson and my dental hygienist are still great, but the front desk needs work. I’ve decided I’ll no longer be a patient here after how a recent claim was handled and ended sticking me with a $300 bill. I’ve been a medical and billing office manager for 7 years and was in disbelief on how my recent visit was handled. Especially after being a patient for the last few decades. The office manager couldn’t even be bothered to return my call and had others calling in place of her to do her dirty work. Truly disappointed.

Dr. Hickerson runs a first class practice, and has for a long time. Consistent excellence is hard to achieve in any profession. Here everything works, from the dentistry all the way to the admin staff. How often can you say that about a medical practice? They are the best. Two additional points: The team is constantly upgrading technologies and learning. For example this week they were working on new imaging software for modeling teeth. Second, a special call out to Donna M. She’s been aces since I started with Dr. Hickerson. Update September 2020. They appear to have managed Covid safety quite well, beyond expectations. Went for my 6 month cleaning and annual XRays today. Dr. Hickerson, Shelia and the rest of his team follow universal precautions including full PPE and a new state of the art air filtration system. A team member does a quick questionnaire and takes your temperature in the hall outside the office suite. I felt totally safe during my visit today. I loved my experience here. My mom is a dental hygienist so I grew up going to see my mom when I got my teeth cleaned. However, now that I've moved, I needed a new office. The whole staff here was really knowledgeable. When I had questions about insurance, they were able to guide me through my coverage. And also, they were very supportive when I was a little nervous coming to a new dentist. Lastly, and most importantly, they did not try to overtreat. They took xrays and assessed my teeth but did not get me on a treatment plan that was unnecessary and costly. I will definitely be coming back and bringing my family here.

I highly recommend this office. I have been a patient here for many years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. The front desk is so friendly and helpful. The hygienist and assistants are great, and make you feel so comfortable and Dr. Hickerson is the best! It’s very hard to find a good, honest dentist but that’s what you get with Dr. Hickerson and his entire staff. I have nothing but great things to say about this office.

Having Donna as my hygienist for the last 7yrs has been amazing. She is wonderful and now I love about an hours drive from Houston and I will still make the drive to go see her. Dr. Hickerson is the best you can not go wrong having them as your dentist!!

Although not many look forward to going to the dentist for a clean up early Monday morning, it is always such a delight and privilege to start the day with Donna Anderson making me laugh while she makes my teeth look radiant and Dr. Hickerson already busy yet smiling and friendly all the while. You might say...This is all fine and dandy but do they exceed your expectations and properly care for your teeth? The answer is an astounding. YES. Yes, they do.
