Took our 2.5-year-old daughter to Fresh Pediatric Dentistry for her first dental visit and had a great experience. From the moment we walked in, the receptionist and hygienist were so gentle, interactive, and welcoming with her. They really knew how to talk to a toddler and helped her feel comfortable right away. Dr. Reesha was amazing—very patient and gentle. She took the time to show my daughter the tools, count her teeth, and do a quick cleaning so nothing felt scary. The office is very clean and kid-friendly with TVs, books, and a play area. At the end, my daughter was so excited to pick a prize and get her new toothbrush. She left smiling after her first dentist visit, which says everything! Highly recommend to any parents looking for a great pediatric dentist.

Amazing experiencing, definitely recommend for tongue/lip tie releases. We have newborn twins and we were desperate to get the procedure done quickly so that it doesnt continue to impact breastfeeding and the team here was so accommodating and got us in very quickly for the procedure. If your dental insurance doesn't cover the entire procedure, definitely come here because the pricing was much more reasonable compared to other places we called, but yet we still felt like we received top notch care. Also, EVERYONE on staff was incredibly kind and helpful, from the first call inquiry to leaving with the procedure done-- we felt very comfortable. And the doctor explained everything before and after so that we were well informed. Highly recommend!

Wonderful first dental visit for my 3-year-old! The staff was incredibly kind and made the whole experience fun and stress-free. Fresh Pediatric Dentistry exceeded our expectations for a pediatric dentist office. Cleanest doctors office I've ever seen. My daughter loved the mini kitchen in the waiting room. I don't know much about dental supplies but everything in the office looked state of the art. But the staff was the number one feature of the office. The entire staff was incredible. Friendly, happy, informative and patient. My daughter loved her experience there and as soon as my son's teeth come in he will start going to Fresh too!

We had such a great experience here with our 20-month-old daughter. She’s been to quite a few doctors’ offices recently and has become understandably anxious, but the entire staff was incredibly patient and accommodating. We love this office! My kids are small so haven’t needed any real dental work thankfully but we take them for their routine visits twice a year and Dr. Reesha is wonderful with them. Office is super inviting and staff are extraordinarily friendly.

Dr. Reesha and her team are truly impressive. I brought my 5 year old daughter to Fresh for a second opinion on a cavity, hoping for a more conservative approach to drilling. They had appointment availability 3 weeks before the previous practice was able to see us. We walked in and Bernice was in the lobby and called my daughter by her name with a bright smile. She was cleaning the immaculate toys and invited her to play. Then, then intake, diagnosis, and sealant was took no time at all. Dr. Reesha spoke to my daughter kindly, informing her of every step in terms she could understand. We will be transferring both our children to be seen by Dr. Reesha after our experience today. We are so lucky to have her in Montclair. I will be encouraging all our friends to check out Fresh Pediatric Dentistry.

I took my son to a lot of pediatric dentists but he was unable to sit still for teeth cleaning. With Dr. Reesha, my son still until the teeth cleaning procedure is done. Dr. Reesha, the hygienist, and the receptionist are all so gentle, kind, and helpful. We came for a second opinion for cavities for my five year old, and decided to switch practices after that visit. She does a great job educating the parents and offering guidance for referrals for ENTs and possible airway issues. She answers every question thoughtfully and honestly. My son is very relaxed at her office. He was having some difficulty doing X-rays and the encouragement from the hygienist was so positive. Truly stellar practice all around. I’m so grateful our friend recommended them.

I took my son for his first dental visit and we had such a great experience. Dr. Shah and her team are so wonderful and welcoming. Dr. Shah was so nice and patient with my son, and I appreciated how she took so much time to listen to my questions and explain things in a nonjudgmental way. The office is also beautiful and I had a hard time pulling my son away from all the fun toys in the waiting room. Highly recommend!

Our experience with Fresh Pediatric Dentistry was truly exceptional from start to finish. We needed a new pediatric dentist for our two kids because our previous dentist moved to another town that us not convenient for our family. I was able to book our first appointment online. That is SO CONVENIENT for a busy parent, especially because I could see and consider the available days and times online, without having to go back and forth with someone on the phone. They also sent paperwork electronically in advance, so I filled everything out in advance. No clipboard of paperwork to complete at the office! The building it is in is older and a bit run down looking. The elevator looks ancient. BUT the office of the practice itself is immaculate - fresh, clean, and everything looks brand new. There were toys and books there for my 5 year old daughter to play with. We were warmly greeted upon entering the office. The front desk person asked for my daughter's name, and also spoke directly to her and complimented her dress. This was a great first impression. Maybe 2 minutes later, the dentist, who introduced herself as Dr. Reesha, came to the waiting room to greet my daughter. She brought a stuffed toy unicorn with a mouth full of teeth and a big toy toothbrush. She asked my daughter to help brush the unicorn's teeth, which put a huge smile on her face and immediately put her at ease. On the way in, Dr. Reesha showed my daughter the prize shelf full of little toys she could choose from after the appointment. Dr. Reesha led us in and showed my daughter where to sit. My daughter was delighted to see a TV on the ceiling. Throughout the appointment, Dr. Reesha was patient and pleasant with my daughter. At the same time she explained to me what she was doing and gave advice on how to take care of my daughter's teeth. She clearly practices evidence-based dentistry, because she referenced studies and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She took my daughter to take some x-rays, and the whole time was extremely gentle and patient. It's not easy for a 5 year old to bite down on the x-ray device and hold still, so it took a little longer than I expected. Even though I started to feel bad that it was taking so long and considered saying we should just try next time, Dr. Reesha was patient and eventually got the X-rays, never showing a sliver of impatience. I cannot emphasize enough how impressed I was with this whole experience. Dr. Reesha has put together a top notch practice, and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone who is looking for a pediatric dentist!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Shah. After visiting several dentists, both pediatric and family practitioners, my family has found a dentist that we plan to remain with for the duration of my sons’ childhoods. Despite these challenges, Dr. Shah and Bernice were able to guide both of my sons through the process of x-rays and fillings. Her bedside manner is outstanding. Her office is serene. After going to the same pediatric dentist for the last 8 years, I decided to switch my son over to Fresh Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Shah and her assistant(I wish I remembered her name, she was so kind)were super sweet and welcoming! My 11 year old son usually fears going to the dentist due to him having gone through a few dental procedures with his baby teeth in the past. Dr. Shah was so patient with him and explained everything to him before she did anything. She spent alot of time with us and even showed my son the proper way to floss. Dr. Shah and her assistant really took the time to get to know my son and put him at ease. The office itself is really cute and kid friendly. Everything looks new and modern. There are even televisions on the ceiling to help keep kids distracted while they get their cleaning done. The minute we left, the first thing my son says to me is "This was waaaay better than the other dentist!" Which is a big compliment from someone who literally shakes whenever he has to go to the dentist. I honestly attribute his good experience to the positivity, attentiveness, and kindness that Dr. Shah and her assistant showed us.

Super kid friendly and a fun dentist visit!

Was referred to fresh pediatric and the service has been great. They go above and beyond to truly give children and fun and comfortable experience. My daughter has had some issues with a tooth and Dr. Shah has been tremendously helpful to ensure we get the extra care needed. Can’t recommend them enough for a great children’s experience and amazing professionalism.

We had a fantastic experience with our 2.5 year old. From the beautiful perfectly kid friendly waiting area to the clean rooms it was a lovely setting. Dr. Reesha was wonderful with us and our daughter. She took her time to make sure our daughter was comfortable and to explain everything she was doing along the way. She also was very thorough explaining things to me and my husband and so kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this office for pediatric dentistry!

Dr. Shah and her team are wonderful. We cannot recommend her enough. My youngest daughter was really nervous but at the end of the appointment she felt so comfortable she said, “I want to stay here forever!” In addition to making her patients feel at ease, Dr. Shah is also highly knowledgeable. Would give more than 5 stars if I could!

We had a fantastic first-timer experience with Dr. Reesha! My two year old has generally reacted pretty badly to other doc visits, but this was completely different. I never would have imagined a dentist visit could be so personalized for little kids. They’ve thought of everything here - there are toys and books in the waiting area, and they were playing Frozen songs when we walked in. Instead of immediately jumping into the chair, our introduction began with Dr. Reesha offering a giant toothbrush to my daughter to help brush a stuffed unicorn’s teeth, which was such a sweet way to ease in to the visit. There are TVs on the ceiling of the exam rooms which helped distract anxiety and provide comfort during the cleaning. So I am thrilled to say we got through the whole visit without tears and with some great information. Would 100% recommend Dr. Reesha and this practice to all parents, especially with toddlers ready for that first visit!

Dr Shah was great. She used a laser to resolve our son’s tongue tie. Everything about the experience was welcoming and professional. I can recommend without hesitation.

Dr. Shah did a great job of getting my 14 month old very comfortable and participating. She took time to answer questions about my son’s care and explain in clear details what the pros and cons to getting a lip tie clipped now vs in the future. She gave me a lot of information on how to care for his teeth without irritation to the lip tie. Very happy to have found a lovely dental home for my son!

I took my toddler here for his first dentist visit and it was a great experience! The office is new and very clean. Dr. Reesha came out into the waiting room to greet him and made him feel so comfortable. She was very patient and explained everything as she went along. There was even a teddy bear waiting for him on the exam chair! I definitely recommend Dr Reesha!

We cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Reesha Shah and her entire team and the exceptional care they provided to our 8 YO daughter (who needed an extraction!!) and filling). First and foremost, Dr. Shah demonstrated an impressive depth of medical knowledge. She took the time to thoroughly assess our daughter's condition, explaining everything in a clear and understandable manner. Her expertise instilled confidence in us as parents, knowing that our daughter was receiving the best possible care. What truly sets Dr. Shah and the staff apart is their compassionate approach and the interaction with our daughter in such a warm and friendly manner, instantly putting her at ease during what could have been a stressful experience. They all show a genuine and natural gift for connecting with children, which undoubtedly contributes to their comfort and trust in her care (see photo of staff holding out daughter's hand!!!). Dr. Shah patiently answered all of our questions, addressing any concerns with empathy and understanding. Her willingness to listen and collaborate made us feel like valued partners in our daughter's healthcare journey. Brought in our 3.5 year old for his first dentist visit. Every part of the visit was amazing from beginning to end. Bernice and and Dr. Reesha are great with kids and really care about making it a fun and enjoyable experience for the kids and parents. Highly recommend!

Dr. Shah was so great with my son. She took her time explaining everything to him and demonstrating brushing techniques in a way he could relate to and understand. The office is pristine and her staff is so nice and welcoming.

Our experience with Dr. Reesha was nothing less than spectacular. Dr. Reesha has a real soft and gentle approach, which is really soothing to a child that may be apprehensive for their first appointment. Dr. Reesha explained everything that was going to happen. Absolutely amazing customer service! My children loves to visit the dentist. Yes I said that my children loves to visit the dentist because they make the children feel comfortable and safe when working in their mouth. I am so happy that I found a dentist that knows what they are doing with children and the care that they give as if it was their own family. Dr. Reesha and her staff were so welcoming and friendly! The office is beautifully decorated, very welcoming and relaxing feel for the kids with cute toys and books, and even TVs on the ceiling for the kids to watch during their exam. Dr. Reesha is so gentle and friendly and made my kids (ages 4 and 6) feel so comfortable and at ease. She was very detailed in the exam and explaining to my kids how to care for their teeth. She also has an awesome prize shelf after the cleaning/exam is done. My kids had such a nice time they actually can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing experience at Fresh Pediatric Dentistry with Dr. Reesha. My son is 2.5 and was dreading going to the dentist (lots of anticipatory tears and we had to talk a lot about how he is brave, etc). But, from the moment he stepped into the office, he immediately felt comfortable and started playing with toys. Then, when it was time to go back for his appointment, Dr. Reesha met us in the waiting room with a stuffed giraffe and a toothbrush so that my son could practice brushing the giraffe's teeth, which made him extremely comfortable. Throughout the appointment, my son still had moments of fear and Dr. Reesha was patient and calm and helped him through those moments. She had to flex a bit to make sure he was comfortable because one of her main goals is to make sure that he sees the dentist in a positive light and wants to come back. I am so relieved to have found a pediatric dentist that can work with my son and his fears - my son didn't want to leave at the end of the appointment! Thank you Dr. Reesha and team - we are looking forward to our next appointment.

Dr. Reesha is am excellent pediatric dentist. Our first appointment experience was outstanding. She warmly welcomed our 2.5 year old, and made him feel comfortable immediately. She explained everything she was doing to make sure both the parents and the child are comfortable with what's happening. She educated all along the way discussing important factors for oral health. Her office was immaculate and super fun for kids.

Dr. Reesha and Ms. Bernice are excellent. My children loved their visits and cannot wait to return. Dr. Reesha cleaned their teeth herself and was intentional about connecting with them and building a rapport. The interior is beautiful and clean and the environment is quiet. There is parking in the back of the building.

Dr. Reesha is the friendly and kind dentist that every child deserves to have. After seeing how well she took care of my child. Turning a dental check up into a fun experience. I took my 18 month old daughter for her first dental visit and we had an amazing experience. First of all, the location is great and there's parking behind the building which is a commodity in Montclair. The office is beautiful and the waiting area has books a little play area for kids to be entertained. The receptionist is warm and super helpful. Dr. Reesha is absolutely wonderful. She took the time to get my daughter comfortable, used toys and props to help ease her fear and she explained everything in detail and answered all our questions. My daughter was happy at the end of the visit! This dental practice is a great addition to our community!

We had a great experience - the office is very clean and has cute toy and book area for little ones in the waiting room. Dr Shah and staff are professional and friendly and took the time to explain everything to me and my 4 year old. I took my toddler here for her first dentist visit and it was a great experience! She usually takes some time to warm up in new surroundings but she felt 100% comfortable from the moment we walked in. The waiting room is SO cute & my daughter loved playing with the toys while we waited. Dr. Reesha was great & got on my daughter’s level to meet & interact with her. She was very gentle, thorough, took her time, and made sure we knew how to properly care for our daughter’s teeth. My daughter LOVED her visit & talked about it often for the rest of the day! As a parent of 3 kids, it's hard! I'm so glad to have found Fresh Pediatric Dentistry, because I now know that at least I don't have to worry about the kid's dental care. The office is brand new and absolutely gorgeous (and most importantly clean!) The kids had a blast and don't fear going to the dentist, which is a huge win! Definitely found the kid's dental home.
