It really helped my daughter relax and made the visit feel fun rather than scary. Dr. Uzma was calm, informative, and so gentle with my daughter. Who knew having cavities filled could be "fun??" My little guy had his first cavities treated today. Felt that we had the team's full attention and they were very thorough/sweet with him. Who doesn't like a television on the ceiling and prizes afterward? We've decided to make this place our regular dentist for him. We had an amazing experience at Dental Smart Kids! I brought my two boys here, and honestly I was a bit nervous because my youngest usually cries at every clinic visit. But the staff here were absolutely incredible—so patient, gentle, and truly kid-focused. To my surprise, both boys did great, especially my youngest. No tears, no fear. They felt comfortable, respected, and even excited throughout the visit. My 9-year-old recently started treatment with an expander followed by Invisalign, and the care we’ve received has been nothing short of exceptional. From the very first consultation, Dr. Uzma took the time to explain everything in detail, both to me and my child, which helped ease any anxiety. The staff is incredibly patient, kind, and truly understands how to work with kids, they made each visit fun and stress-free. The expander process went smoothly, and they were so supportive throughout. It was our twins first dental appointment. They are almost 2 years old. They both loved their dentist Dr. Jamil. The office is beautiful and twins enjoyed their visit alot. I was told several months ago that my two daughters, 8 & 9, need braces, but our family finances at that time did not allow us to start the program. They understood my situation and would keep an eye on their situation. Then I got a notice that there was a special on braces and combined with my tax refund and some other unexpected income, we were able to start braces for both of them. They patiently explained the pros and cons of traditional and Invisalign braces. We were able to schedule them quickly and they did a great job on scanning their teeth. They were also willing to figure a way I can use my 2026 FSA to pay for the majority of the cost.

Terrible experience. This doctor billed my insurance for procedures that were never done, including sealants that my child never received. She seems more focused on money than actual patient care, often recommending unnecessary treatments and exaggerating needs. She talks negatively about patients and does not treat Medicaid patients with respect, making them feel like they don’t matter. It’s especially upsetting that she behaves this way toward children. If you are looking for a pediatric dentist in Frisco, keep looking. She is not the one. There are plenty of trustworthy, caring dentists in the area who actually put patients first.

Everyone in this clinic is very pleasant and are clear and concise with instructions and information regarding my child’s visit. They are very complimenting to my son which makes my son eager to follow what they need him to do. The clinic itself is inviting. The playroom made it more fun for my son and looks forward to coming in. He had fillings and caps that needed placing. The doctor listened to our concerns and sensitive to the child’s temperament. She does not push if the child needed breaks even when it means having to do multiple set up on different visits. Overall, it was a great experience and will be going to this clinic for my child’s dental needs moving forward.

My daughter has extreme anxiety when it comes to the dentist. She needed a lot of work done and rather than split it up into 2 sessions like they wanted originally, they completed it in 1 with the help of some trusty nitrous. The did absolutely amazing with my daughter.

This was a very disappointing experience. The doctor was rough with my child and rushed through the procedure. A cap was placed that didn’t even fit properly, and they had to remove and redo it something I only found out because an assistant who was just filling in that day told me the truth. When I asked the front desk for the doctor’s name, she was rude and turned her back on me. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. What’s even more frustrating is seeing staff clearly writing fake 5-star reviews to cover up the real, honest ones. Instead of owning up to mistakes, the doctor gets defensive and the whole place lacks accountability. Poor management all around. I would not recommend bringing your child here

The best & very very nice

On July 15, 2025, I visited this clinic for my son’s tooth extraction. During the procedure, my son became very anxious and wanted to hold my hand. While I was comforting him, my daughter took a few photos of her brother. The dentist assumed she was recording a video and asked her to leave the room. In reality, she had only taken a few pictures and was not filming anything. She is just 10 years old, and the way she was treated—being harshly sent out without even being asked or spoken to respectfully—was completely unacceptable and deeply upsetting. I couldn’t react at the moment because I was focused on my son, but afterward, my daughter was very hurt. She said, “If someone had told me not to take pictures, I wouldn’t have.” Who do you think you are to speak to my daughter like that? What gives you the right to treat a child in such a disrespectful and humiliating way? This kind of behavior is absolutely unprofessional and completely inappropriate for a pediatric dentist. On top of that, I was charged $370 for a simple tooth extraction, which is an extremely high price for the level of service received. The doctor was far from kind or child-friendly—certainly not warm or welcoming. I will never return to this clinic, and I absolutely do not recommend it to anyone. You don’t even deserve one star.

Dr. Uzma and her staff is extremely friendly and thw clinic is very inviting. They got our kids to cooperate without us interfering, which was different, as we usually have to give the kids a pep talk for XRays or cleaning services. But this speaks to how friendly and sweet the staff is. The office is colorful and nice. It was a pleasure for the parents and the kids!
