My son had very bad experiences for the past 1.5 years. He had been having an infected tooth and when an auth was approved, we would show up to the appointment and be told he could not be seen, then we would leave, go home and get a phone call asking why we did not come in for the appointment. When he had not slept for 2 weeks because of the pain, they saw him and gave him Motrin and Amoxicillin and said a root canal would be done in 1 week. Next week he showed up and the dentist talked 20 minutes with him and the employee at check out said we had to pay a copay for the consult and that the next week would be another consult with another fee and maybe by 07 18 2025 he would get his root canal and extraction. I knew a dentist and asked if he could be seen on an emergent basis, which he agreed to and the root canal was done out of pocket. We will not return to Dental Group of Arcadia and will warn others about them. I wouldn't even treat a dog the way we were treated.

FOLLOW-UP to my original review – after receiving the bill After our visit to Dental Group of Arcadia on May 31, 2025, my wife and I were shocked to receive separate bills of over $650 EACH. Our insurance provider (Blue Shield DHMO) denied both of our claims because the clinic submitted them as “out-of-network.” We were assigned to Dr. Adib Habib, and our insurance cards — issued by this clinic — clearly show that. At no time were we told we’d be seen by a different provider. The front desk gave us no notice or consent form. We had every reason to believe we were treated by the doctor on our ID cards. Now, we are left dealing with a completely unnecessary insurance nightmare, including: Formal appeals to Blue Shield, Written complaints to the clinic, And likely filing a case with the California Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC). ? This is not a small clerical error. It's a serious failure in transparency and patient rights. If you are a DHMO patient, especially under Blue Shield, be extremely cautious. The clinic may switch your doctor without informing you — and you’ll be the one paying the price. This experience has confirmed our decision to cancel all future appointments.

I gave a single star because other wise I'm not allowed to post. I perfer NO STAR So today's experience. I arrived for my appointment expecting a cleaning only, since that's what I stated and requested at the time of making my appointment over the telephone. So 25 minutes later I'm still in the waiting room. Just as I'm about to reschedule I'm called in. The first words out of the dental assistant is that she would be taking x-rays. I declined and informed her that I was here for cleaning only. Very well then I was escorted to the room for my treatment. For some reason paper work had to be completed, gum measurement made, the offering of recommended treatments that required the office to calculated prices. Well now ONE HOUR since my arrival has passed and still no cleaning of the teeth. I walked out determined to reschedule. As I did so I was asked to speak with an office manger. She explained that I spoke with someone in their CALL CENTER and not with this office. That person whom I spoke with noticed that I was due for X-rays, cleaning and I don't recall if something else had been noted. Apparently that person or heaven know who determined that my appointment shall be for whatever services that they're records showed. No one told me of such arrangements. No one asked me if that was what I wanted. No one asked me if I had the time for such services. Still talking about today at this dental office. I complement the doctors that have treated me for documenting their recommendations to me and the work that is done for me. Don't get to attached to any one doctor because they don't stay much longer then two years.

I continue to have an amazing experience with Dental Group of Arcadia. I have a severe dental phobia, which has kept me from the dentist for over a decade. After unbearable tooth pain, I found them and went in. I felt at ease when I first walked in and received a pleasant greeting from the very nice front desk woman. They took x-rays and quickly set up a plan of action for me. They were very understanding of my phobia and took their time with anything they had to do. The first doctor performed a filling excellently. The way they numb patients up is gentle and efficient. The doctor worked very quickly, and I was done soon after arriving. I came back to have a teeth cleaning. I don't think I've ever felt safer in the hands of a dentist. Dr. Chen is amazing human with magic hands. I was blessed to have her perform my cleaning with Elena. Dr. Chen is kind, funny, attentive, and nurturing. I look forward to my next appointment, I know it will be an amazing experience that will leave me with a healthier mouth. truly disappointing experience. I initially had high hopes for Dental Group of Arcadia because it is close to home. I even transferred my entire family’s dental records here, thinking a basic check-up and cleaning would be quick and simple. I was wrong. We had an appointment on Saturday at 9:00 AM, and we arrived on time. But until after 11:00 AM, no one in my family received any actual dental procedure except the initial X-rays. A doctor finally showed up, and during the exam, a nurse wearing a different colored uniform (not the doctor) told us that we couldn’t proceed because our English was “not good enough.” That was completely ridiculous — both my wife and I can communicate in English, and our daughter is completely fluent. We offered to let her translate or to call a friend to help by phone. The nurse refused, saying a translator must be physically present and over 12 years old. That sounded more like an excuse than a real policy. Then they told us there was a Chinese-speaking doctor who only works on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and if we booked her, we wouldn’t need a translator. We reluctantly agreed and rescheduled to Thursday morning, being told we would be the first patient of the day. I arrived on time and entered the treatment room around 9:30 AM, but didn’t see the doctor until nearly 10:00 AM. The doctor performed a very basic exam, then immediately gave me a treatment plan costing $620 out-of-pocket, and then left to treat someone else — never coming back. I waited for a long time and clearly expressed that I only wanted a basic dental cleaning. This was my first visit, and I didn’t know whether this clinic was good or not, and I wasn’t comfortable proceeding with any treatment without first establishing trust. Finally, a nurse (not the dentist) came in and did a so-called “cleaning” using something that felt like an electric toothbrush — not the ultrasonic scaling I had expected. By the time this basic cleaning started, it was already close to 10:45 AM, and I didn’t leave the clinic until 11:00 AM — meaning I spent two full hours there, even though all initial checks had supposedly already been completed. When I asked about ultrasonic cleaning, they told me it would cost an extra $500. ? Summary: The entire experience left me with a very bad impression. There was poor communication, unnecessary waiting, and a complete lack of respect for the patient’s time. I have already canceled all future appointments for my entire family. ? If you care about your time, please think twice before choosing this clinic.

I cant lie. If you love your dentist, and I do, you are going to have to be patient. I'm older and dental visits gives me high anxiety so the sooner I'm in and out of the office, the better. So make sure you try your best to be patient. I had my last appt at 9am. The first appt I thought but 4 if us showed up. I had an appt for a 6 mos check up with xrays, dentist recommendations and a periomaintence cleaning. Was in there at 845 and left at 1145. Celine is the newest Manager and shes very efficient and pleasant. Dr. Peggy Chen is the newest dentist and I love her. Shes thorough, explains very clearly and a people person. Laylanee is a front desk girl who is fairly new and she put me at ease when I was a little stressed. I love her. There were 2 other front desk girls as well ..I think Alex and I dont remember the other but they were pleasant. I've been coming to this office for way over a decade. Back when Dr. Jane Lee was there. Honestly I have always loved the dentist but not the front desk personel. They have finally hit the jackpot with the new Manager Celine and all the front desk staff. As long as you can handle waiting....you'll be happy with Dental Group of Arcadia. I'll be back in 6 months!

Office was very organized, little wait time. X-ray tech were good and polite. My doctor, Dr Chen was friendly, explained the procedures that were required in non-medical terms so I was able to understand, was pain-free. My registered dental assistant, Elaina took my imprints for the bridge and crown also put them in did an excellent job fitting and no pain. Office manager, Carmen explained the costs and what i was responsible to pay also very kind. In my many years going to a dentist, this by far is the best and should be a model of how an office is run.

Horrible experience with the Pedodontist and the way this office is managed. The office is always behind in their appointments and communication is getting worse. We were called several times during the week regarding this appointment and reminding us that the child needed to be on NPO for 6 hours before arriving. So, we arrive and the system did not register the reason you were given the appointment in the first place. Into them moment to figure it out. They finally called my son in and took one c-ray and apparently brushed his teeth. No professional cleaning. This was a waste of time. Now they want to see us in 3 months. Forget it. This enough disrespect on our child and his time. We are seeking another office that only specializes in children. This once a month service is ridiculous.

Worst experience ever! We got screwed 3 times! My mom was referred for Endo procedure. Appt #1- came in and did X-ray. And confirmed my mom should do Endo. Great! Booked the next appt for Endo and signed paperwork for MediCal approval. Appt #2- we arrived early and the receptionist said they don’t have my mom’s appt. I was like that’s impossible. We got email reminder from the dental office. Turned out they forgot to book the specialist for Endo. I was furious and we have to reschedule. So we made a new appointment 1 month later. I cannot comprehend how they forgot to book the specialist but remembered to give us an appt reminder. Appt #3- the office called us the day before saying we can not come because they just found out MediCal had not approved the Endo procedure. They had over 2 months to get MediCals approval and told us a day before they didn’t check for approval until the day before. Now we have to reschedule AGAIN! Appt #4- I’m smarter this time. I called the receptionist to confirm if doctor is booked and if the approval went thru. Hoped all set. On the day of Appt, the receptionist called me again that our appt is moved to 3pm instead of 1pm. I questioned her how come appt is changed so last minute. She said they are very busy and just pushed it out! I was like …okay… we come later then. So my family changed plan and go to somewhere else with the extra time. An hour later, receptionist called me again that she looked at the wrong time we should indeed come at 1pm. I was Furious!!! We now have to start driving to make it on time!!! Whoever the office manager is, please review how you run the office. You failed big time to run this small office! Worst communication, lack of trainings, staff doesn’t know what they are doing, lack of customer service experience. Lack of process. It’s like this office is ran by high school kids.

I’m honestly pretty disappointed with ARCADIA Dental Group. At first, everything seemed fine—clean office, friendly staff—but things started to unravel pretty quickly. It became clear that there’s something off about how they do business, and I’m not the only one who’s noticed. I had an appointment where the manager was super pushy about certain procedures that seemed unnecessary. After doing some digging, I found out they’ve been trying to charge insurance for things that weren’t even done. It’s like they’re counting on people not noticing the inflated charges or not checking their insurance statements. It felt like a real money-grab situation. I’m honestly just disappointed. I expected better, especially from a place that seems to have its stuff together. After hearing more stories about shady billing practices and secret overcharges, I’m definitely going elsewhere and filing a complaint with the Dental Board of California. I really hope they look into what’s going on over there.

The wait was way too long. My appointment was at 4pm, I got seated for x-rays at 515 and then waited for the doctor for another hour. By the time I left, it was 633pm. To make matters worse, when I was speaking with the doctor the assistant was speaking at the same time as him (asking if I had signed my paperwork) so I couldn’t hear what he was saying. She did this two times and it was very frustrating that she did not comprehend to NOT speak to me at the same time as the doctor. I asked at least 5 times how much longer because of the long wait. The staff there are either untrained, overworked or don't care enough to do their job properly. I heard the receptionist with glasses say that she had too much work to do and couldn’t help and saw her frustration when the man complained and left. Very disappointing! It was the worst experience I’ve ever endured and am not sure about going back to get my deep cleaning. Lastly, I read the reviews beforehand but thought that I would be exempt from such experiences but I was wrong SMH.

The worst experience ever. Our child needed a tooth pulled and had to be under laughing gas .10 hours, no food or water for that long. The child was hungry all night. We called in sick from school, but when we got to the clinic, they said there was no room and we had to wait. We waited for two hours, and the child was very hungry and uncomfortable. So we took the child away to eat. Than we got a call saying there was a spot available after that. What's the point of making an appointment if there's no room? We didn't just walk in, we made an appointment. Such a long time without food or water for such a little child, and you still don't have a spot? I'm speechless. We definitely won't go back.

No respect for patients time. Even with an appointment, still need to wait for 30 mins to be called, then another 30 mins on the chair waiting for the dentist. No customer service at all. They double charged me, I called, went into office, followed their instruction to send proof to their email. Followed up multiple times but never got a response. The worst dental office you would ever visit.

They told me I needed my wisdom teeth pulled out for years and quoted me a big price to get my teeth extracted. I decided to call my insurance myself to get more details, this place was submitting the paperwork wrong that’s why I was being charged to get my teeth extracted. My insurance covered the costs at no out of pocket charge…. They acted like nothing happened after that.

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a dentist as a new patient. Waited for one hour in the waiting room, then was called back for x-rays. Took 5 mins, then waited another 45 mins for a DDS to exam me, which also took 5 mins. Waited another 15 minutes for a person to come and tell me what they recommend and how much it would cost. I was just at the dentist 6 months ago and had 1 small issue. Today, they gave me a load of different procedures I supposedly need done, said I need a mouth guard (I already have one) and tried to convince me to spend $1,600, probably none of which is necessary. I only have one tooth with a slight pain, everything else feels fine. I declined everything, declined to make a follow up appointment and walked out the door. 2 hours and 45 minutes later, I’m back home and nothing got done. Now I have to call my insurance and see if I can go somewhere else and still be covered for another exam and cleaning. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!! Go somewhere else and stay far away from Dental Group of Arcadia.

***STAY AWAY**** Went here for my 6 year old daughter. They took our insurance and were local. They don’t specialize in pediatric care so they only have one day a month for those dentists to be in. Her first appointment was in October (day one of the world series). They kept calling me to move the appointment up earlier to accommodate to their office, which I told them repeatedly that I couldn’t. X rays and standard initial appointment. We set up for the next available appointment in November. When we arrive they do more x rays. I ask why and they said they missed some. They ask if she fasted, I wasn’t instructed to so I said no. So now we have to make another appointment for December. At this point I’m upset that my daughter has missed school and I have missed work for this. The woman told me that their previous office manager was not thorough in his job and was let go because of it. We arrived this morning at 8am so my daughter doesn’t have to starve all day. We are in the waiting room for an hour when the care coordinator pulls us into his office to say that our insurance will not cover her care because they cut it off after the age of 5. We would have to pay out of pocket for the work. I was furious! They’ve had her care plan for two months and let us know after an hour of waiting in the office to figure this out and tell me. My daughter’s dental needs couldn’t wait and I felt like I had no real choice in the matter. I went ahead with the work because we didn’t have the time to spare anymore with her teeth. The actual work itself was quick. They didn’t let me in while the work was being done. Since I have to give one star at a minimum I can say the dentists deserve it. As I was waiting for my daughter’s work to be done I heard another man that was complaining that he was given one price, had an exam, and came out to be told the price would be double. Clearly their office is lacking with checking on benefits. I’m looking into ways to report this location to the ADA. Terrible experience. I wouldn’t be surprised if they still billed our insurance even after I payed privately.

Worst dental experience ever. First, the appointment confirmation I got was supposed to be with dr Liu. Only when I started the cleaning I was told there is no longer a dr Liu. Second, I was told the x ray machine they use is the newest technology however it was so uncomfortable as I gagged a few times when the staff asked me to bite on the plastic thing while she’s taking photos.. It also scratched my mouth and hurt me! Third, the dr did not even introduce who she is. Only when I asked that I thought my appointment was with dr Liu and was told she is not Liu! The cleaning process was very unpleasant. The staff did not suck the fluid from my month timely and to the point I had to sit up and want to spit… and was told there was no longer a sink due to some new regulations… the sucking tube fell off of my month when I was siting up… when I was told there was no longer a sink I said it was very uncomfortable and the doctor’s response was if you feel uncomfortable we can reschedule you… keep in mind at that time I was already in the process and had a mouthful of fluids that I can’t wait to spit out!! At that point I just wanted to have my teeth cleaned and leave.. the whole cleaning process was bad but luckily it was so quick and was less than 10 mins..not sure if that is a good thing??? You paid someone to check on your teeth and she only takes a brief look? lastly the staff who put toothpaste on my teeth did not clean them properly even though I kept telling her that I can feel there are residuals in my month and on my teeth. I would NOT go to this place!! Almost forgot that the front desk staff was also very unfriendly just like many others had said in their post!!

The folks running this place need to see thier customers flee and the appointments dry up and hit thier wallets so they can see that YOU NEED TO HIRE AND TRAIN CAPABLE INTELLIGENT HUMANS to work your office or people will NOT COME TO YOU. Hands down the WORST dental office I've ever been in and that's saying alot as I switched from the Monrovia location because I though THAT was the worst I've ever experienced. Front desk people, all of them, lack any kind of coherent training on the customer experience. No active listening skills, no comprehension of personal soft skills. Seemingly zero background knowledge of the very industry in which they're employed. No problem solving skills. The worst is when the office manager for no reason out of nowhere told the lady at the front desk that my insurance won't cover a single tooth extraction only 3 or more ( like, what!!??!). That's the most ludicrous thing I've ever heard and this was as I was leaving the consultation appointment before a pre-auth or anything was ever submitted to my insurance. When I spoke to my insurance they said that's the craziest thing they've heard and had no idea why someone would tell me that, when it's not her role to do so. Left and never going back. TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE.

After going in for an very painful infected tooth on Wednesday was told I would need to see the surgeon Friday afternoon. I informed them I had my hips replaced and I would need to pre-med. They assured me they would take care of the pre-med medication I would need. They gave me a med that said to take 1 three times a day. When I went in for the surgery they told me I needed to take 4 of them prior to the work and I would need to wait 2 weeks for the surgeon to return to this office or find another office. I have tried contacting all of the phone numbers they have to the corporate office but I guess they don't work on Fridays. Now I get to spend the weekend in pain as I cant find another dentist in this short time frame to see me before the weekend. They also had me pay ahead, Now I get to go back and fight for my money. I highly recommend you check out other options.

Getting anything done here takes forever. Expect to wait at least an hour over your time to even start even if the waiting room is empty. They're all lazy and not helpful. The doctors are good though. That's the sad part. It's not worth the laziness of getting simple things done. Ask your insurance to switch you to somewhere else

I observe this dental office is booking appointments more than they can handle. I accompanied my husband and arrived there much earlier than his appointment at 10 AM . After 10 as he was waiting to be called we observed that patients who arrived after him were being called first into the rooms. After almost 2 hours of waiting I stood up and told the receptionist we want to postpone or cancel and she hurriedly convinced us to do xray first before leaving. It was such a forceful suggestion that we didn’t decline just so we could leave already and we did after the xray. This was not our first bad experience of waiting too long. We had been thinking from our first experience that maybe tooth cleaning is not a priority to them for whatever reason they have . Also we don’t see staff with welcome smile at us or other patients- such a negative vibes atmosphere in that office. I myself is one of their patients and I personally experienced the same so I left them and my husband is the next to leave.

The worst customer service ever! The front desk is horrible. Shame on the male receptionist who did not even want me to know his name and hanged up on me. I called to make an appointment and he refused to help me. He said I need to get my family dentist's written referral form plus insurance authorization form. Then deliver those forms to them in person in order to make an appointment. He even threatened me that if I don't do it quick, their spots will fill up soon. I told him that my insurance company already faxed the authorization form to their office and I have the reference number in hand if he needs it. He insisted not to check their fax machine and didn't want my reference number. I'm taking my service somewhere else.

I went to this office for an ortho consultation. This first meeting they discussed the treatment cost/plan and I felt a certain pressure to sign the contract and get treatment started that same evening. I did not feel comfortable and declined. I changed insurance and went back about one month later. As soon as I got there, the rececptionist told me the doctor was not in because he had an emergency. She claimed they had tried to call me, I had no missed call or voicemail from their office. I was rescheduled and waited over an hour to be seen on that third visit. I had confirmed with my insurance that their office is a provider for a certain ortho program but they stated they were not able to provide that service. It is safe to say that I will no longer be visiting this office again.

The first time I went here they cracked my mandible. Then I made an appt for an abscessed tooth and they said they couldn't pull it so needed surgery. Waited for more than a month and the day before surgery they said the surgeon had an emergency so rescheduled. Then the surgeon says I need bone grafting too. After months I went to 21 dental and dr vo said no surgery is needed or grafting.it was pulled and no grafting or pain. Also great staff and no hustle.

It's just a terrible place never ever!! I did a CT scan with my first day visit and they told me that my insurance was not accepted! and five seconds later another front desk staff told me that the group policy was changed and it was accepted. So they made the second appointment for me . After waiting for half month , I went to my second appointment, they did CT scan again and wasted another two hours of my time, and told me that the doctor did not accept my insurance! It is ridiculous! This place even doesn't deserve a 1 star!!

Avoid this dental office if you can. No bedside manner with children. No information provided. Treatment not provided, only x-rays and a lecture. But then a call every six months to make an appointment to do the same useless thing. Needed a referral for two years that was never provided despite multiple calls between the office and insurance. Horrible service and wait time, waited 2.5 hours and only X-ray was done. Don't go here!!!! No wonder their rating here is bad. My 8 year old son waited so long and it past his lunch time and he was very hungry. The receptionist couldn't tell us how much longer on the wait time but offered to reschedule me after my son and I already waited 2.5 hours. This office schedules more appointments than they can handle. Also they schedule me 11:15 and front desk said they never schedule that time because that's when dentist takes their lunch. I spoke to a live person and they gave me 11:15 it was confirmed. And also I was getting. Different times text messages to confirm my son appointment. It kept changing from 11 to 12 to 12:30 and I received like 8 text messages from them. The worst dental office experience ever.

Unfortunately, the 1-star reviews written here are accurate. The customer service here is confusing and not really transparent with conditions and appointments. They really do feel like they’re giving the impression of being overbooked or are understaffed I’ve had similar experiences with: - waiting approx 1-2 hours in the waiting room only for little to no work finished. I was surprised I had to wait 2 hours only for an exam picture on my first time here. Had to wait 1-2 hours my other times here. - got rescheduled multiple times, I lost count how many reschedules there were. I was also assigned to the wrong appointment time with the incorrect specialist too. I hope the next people that come here don’t experience this. If they do, they gotta have a lot of patience with this place

I will never go to a West Coast dental place ever again infact I should be sueing for a the pain and suffering I have been through over the last few months for what they have done. I went in for a routine checkup and had a cavity that needed to be filled. When they were filling the cavity I felt the dentist hand slip and he drilled to deep. I told him to check because it shouldn't have hurt like it did but I felt the drill go into my root. He filled the cavity anyway said everything should be fine. A week or so later I came back telling them that the tooth had started to crumble and the filling fell out! They fit me in to see the dentist that day but told me they would have to charge me over four hundred dollars to do the root canal that they messed up for me! I told them absolutely not that they would not be touching me teeth anymore. Do they purposely mess up your teeth so you have to keep coming back to pay out of pocket for them to fix what they have done to you? This is absolutely ridiculous. Also I had 2 scheduled appointments for the specialist and each time he was unable to see me because he had already left for the day or went for lunch and wouldn't be back. This happened twice when they wanted to reschedule again I asked and this time am I actually going to see the specialist or am I just waisting my time showing up to appointments when he's leaving. Once I was getting out of my car and I saw him leaving "for lunch" but won't be back for the rest of the day?? Something is definitely off in this office especially after reading other reviews saying the same thing. They are only after your money stop going to dentist that don't really care about your health.

Very fake dentists and have fake kid staff. Don’t go to this place. They waist your time by hours and have a sales woman pretending to be a dentist assistant waisting additional time with fake appointments and no restrooms available at all. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I am curious how they get a 3.5 stars cause all I see is bad reviews. 1. Ridicoulous wait time. My appointment was at 11 am and I got out at 1:30 pm. I was supposed to do a cleaning and filling. I only got the cleaning done bc I needed to leave. it took 2.5 hr for just x-rays and cleaning and the cleaning only took 10 mins. 2. Service is bad. The most uncomfortable and rough cleaning I had ever done. All blood in my mouth and it only took 10 mins. Do not pick her as general dentist Dr. Phuong Thu Giao, DDS. 3. They tried to scam me for a thousand dollars (which isn’t covered by insurance) for some gum treatment that I don't even need. When the lady Carmen told me that I needed to pay a thousand dollars, I was like what? Then she said oh no it’s $2xx then I gave her my card and she still charged me a thousand. I immediately asked for a refund. I ended up still paying $140 for some irrigation that I was not aware of. I have already filed a complaint. 4. All I need is the referral for an oral surgeon, the front desk Alexis told me they can't refer me to an oral surgeon OUTSIDE of their clinic. I don’t want to see them again so I called my insurance and Alexis, you are WRONG. They tried to keep me to see their clinic’s surgeon. 5. I finally got my referral but they gave me an inter-office referral. I called again, that lady Alexis said she had already gave it to me, and they had it scanned in the system WHICH IS NOT TRUE. I went in person again bc they refused to send anything electronically and I waited more than an hour just to get the paperwork which only required 2 minutes to fill out. SUCH A WASTE OF TIME. FINALLY, I AM SO HAPPY THAT I DON'T NEED TO DEAL WITH THIS CLINIC EVER AGAIN.

(I only leave reviews when necessary) I’ve been here about 4 times and every time I’m here, I find myself waiting for an hour just to be called in. People that have checked in after me get called in before me. I spend at least 3 hours here and 2 of those hours are WAITING. I’d be here all day if I didn’t raise a concern. The dental assistant taking X-rays and photos are friendly and quick. After this, there’s more waiting to see the doctor. Some days this place is hectic, and seems they only have 1 doctor to work on 6+ patients at one time. They definitely overbook patient slots, which is why patients are always waiting. The doctors seem fatigue, trying to work as fast as possible on each patient. I’m not even sure the doctors are doing their best job when they’re being pulled left and right into different rooms. One doctor even expressed that she had been working nonstop since 8am until 1pm without a break. From a patient’s perspective, that doesn’t make me feel comfortable knowing employees are being pushed to their limits and laboring without breaks. Who knows what they’re doing to your teeth because they’re exhausted! This branch is a part of West Coast Dental, which is a big dental group with a bad reputation. I understand every employee is working their hardest but the business structure and model needs to change to improve patient experience. I do see there’s a “brand manager” who is there. They seem to be highly, but really doing nothing behind the computer screen. A doctor seemed to be irritated after speaking with the manager. West Coast Dental: DO BETTER. Strive to improve your patient experience. Hire more doctors. Treat/compensate your employees well. I’m sure people at the top are collecting their salaries and enjoying their lives. Well maybe more money could be made if your staff and patients are happier.

Unfortunately, my recent check-in experience at this dental office was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, I was met with unprofessionalism from the office manager, Carmen, after being informed that I did not have the necessary documents for my appointment. Despite calling ahead of time and receiving no notification about this requirement, Carmen's response was aggressive and lacked empathy. As a result of their miscommunication, I now have to wait an additional month for my root canal treatment. What made matters worse was Carmen's dismissive attitude and hostility towards me. She made it clear that I was not welcome to receive treatment at the office and even threatened to involve security and law enforcement. This behavior was completely uncalled for and left me feeling frustrated and disrespected. While the rest of the front desk team remained composed, Carmen's actions overshadowed their professionalism. In any other office setting, a coordinator would typically remind patients of necessary documents prior to their appointment. Unfortunately, this basic courtesy was not extended to me. Overall, this experience has left me questioning the level of care and professionalism at this dental office. Moving forward, I hope to see improvements in communication and customer service to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

Terrible! If I could give it 0 stars, I would. As a person who sees the dentist once a year, I decided that it probably wouldn't be as bad as the reviews say. Beware! I went for a general cleaning and I was there for 3.5 hours. Yes, that's right! I've been to many dentists, and this place is the worst I've ever been to. I hope to never see them again!!

Entire staff is very pleasant and efficient, my only issue is the wait time with appointment. I do understand some patients take longer but they should spread people out more so you don't have so many people waiting for the same time slot. Other than that, I'm pleased with the establishment and would recommend.

Beware, West Coast Dental has the worst customer service, especially in Arcadia. I had to wait over an hour for x-rays and consultation from the doctor. I just wanted an estimate for overhead dentures, I asked to speak to the manager, but the receptionist said that she was busy. It turns out that she was playing with her phone and filing her nails. The doctor said that my broken denture couldn't be repaired because they were cracked in half. When the manager came to give me a price, she quoted me over seven thousand dollars. I decided to take my business elsewhere. It turns out that I got my cracked denture repaired the same day at a walk-in laboratory in a 30-minute wait time for $100. My point is that the doctor lied to me, and the manager was trying to overcharge me. But I didn't take the bait. I regret walking into the Arcadia office, and I don't recommend this place to anyone. Don't be like most of us who didn't read the terrible reviews.

Terrible and unprofessional dental office. My mother has had to reschedule several times. These people don't respect that she's has work and can't keep rescheduling on the Drs time. Yet again they did that since the Dr has to leave early. The other time their X-ray systems were down. 4th time they've done this m They need to look in how unprofessional this dental office is and revoke their license. 1 star reviews I've seen are not fake. Was told by this office that I have several cavities and need other work done that is rather time sensitive. After that initial appointment (nothing was actually done, just a cleaning) I made a follow up appointment which was cancelled day of. Second time I tried I got all the way to the office just to be told it’s closed and I have to reschedule. Third time I tried and literally 3 hours before my appointment, they cancel on me again. At this point it is not worth going anymore since it’s been over a month since my first appointment. Do not go here if you actually need dental work done.

I hate this place. Literally the worst run dental office I’ve ever been to. The dentist is nice enough but every other member of staff is constantly rushing, complaining, or blaming each other for mistakes they make. They’ve also misgendered me, several times, to the point where I’m pretty sure they’re doing it on purpose. Skip it. I’m planning on reporting them to dental board.

Went in with a friend today. Waited over an hour last the appointment time to see the dentist - and complaint many have already made. Mind you I was brought along for moral support, and to hold her hand if needed, I'm not the patient. My poor friend was already scared of pain and the needles. She had them call me go to the room to help her with the process. She was clearly showing signs of distress. Next thing I know DR. ALEXANDER shot her up without applying ANY numbing cream. The pain was enough to make her scream out. Then the front nurse came in and yelled at her to stop it because she was scaring kids. I'm so sorry, maybe had the doctor done his job correctly, she wouldn't have been in so much pain. I mean the numbing cream was sitting right there on the tray ready to be used. When I questioned him, he brushed it off, said he doesn't use it, IT ISN'T NEEDED. My jaw almost dropped to the floor. I've never not been given a typical when getting injected, and I've had Alot of work done. Additionally, the dentist was cold, rude, and it almost seemed like he was perpously feeding her fears as he was and going into unnecessary details. He definately wasnt trying to help the situation. Like, that's not how you treat a patent that's clearly showing signs of fear and anxiety. This place has by far the worst dentist professionalism I've experienced. No compassion, no kindness. Left with a feeling of disgust. My friend won't be back. That's for sure!

Dr. Rita Lui is an arrogant, condescending, and insensitive dentist. She doesn't care about the patient. Elderly parent visited this location with pain. Waited 1.5 hours AFTER the scheduled appointment time to be "seen." By "seen" I mean, Rita Lui glanced over, looked at her watch, and told the assistant to send us home. We had an appointment, YOU overbooked. I insisted in speaking with the doctor. Rita was upset about having to speak to yet another patient as she was ready to run home after a long day of what I believe, disrespecting patients who need care. Rita refused to look at what was going on and told us we needed to come back another day. Since Rita didn't want to even look at the teeth, I asked her, in general, what are some reasons why people might experience pain. Her response? "I AM NOT GOING TO GIVE YOU A DIAGNOSIS. I AM A LICENSED DOCTOR." I rephrased my question and re-emphasized "general reasons" for pain so we know what to expect. Her response was "IF I GIVE YOU ANY REASONS, IT'S A DIAGNOSIS. I CANNOT GIVE A DIAGNOSIS WITHOUT AN EXAM." I asked her to check as we'd waited 1.5 hours past the appointment time. She sent us packing. Lui is an unprofessional, inconsiderate, and self-serving. I would not recommend Lui or this dental office to anyone.

I have the responsibility to warn anyone who decides to go to this dental office that the waiting time is super ridiculous (I waited 3 hours for a X- ray)and the doctors there are impatient and rude! I had my worst experience ever here!!!! If I could I give it -5 stars! My teeth is worse after visiting this awful place!!

I came on 9/21/23 for a check up. First of let’s just start on how long I was waiting , which was HOURS. Second I witness the “Doctor “ being EXTREMELY RUDE to the front receptionist. I felt so bad for this poor young lady I wanted to just hug her !!! The receptionists looked very young possibly in her early twenties very sweet young lady. He disrespected her and yelled at her in front of us Patients. Practically arguing with her with his voice level on 10 , I wanted to say something so bad but decided not to that’s why I am here now writing this. He is a HORRIBLE PERSON!! I hope that young lady quits that office she does not deserve that ! I will not ever return here ! Very unprofessional !!!!!!!!!

Terrible system for appointments, they put me on the wrong appointment date. And when I came into the office, they made me waiting for 40 minutes to get x-ray and exam, after the exam, they wanted me come back next day for cleaning instead of same day cleaning due to the oxygen was ran out , so I came back next day, they’re telling me my appointment is next week, not for the next day, and also they are charging me another copay for the next office visit, which I didn’t expect that because the cleaning should have been done at the first day exam and x-ray. Totally mess!

If there was zero star I would choose that. This place is totally understaffed while they make over appointments. I arrived at 9am and waited until 10:10 to check in then waited until 11:10 then the doctor came to give me anesthesia. Then he left and didn’t come back until 12:20. I was so scared the anesthesia would disappear since I didn’t feel numb as strong as before. I did the deep cleaning how can I stand if the anesthesia disappeared. Plus, I had a registration appointment for my son at 12:45, and I didn’t leave until 12:40. Saying the doctor, I think he was pushed from the patient to the next and under pressure too. So I didn't feel very good for the treatment. And when I told the doctor I have to get my son for school registration at 12:45, he even asked me if I wanted to reschedule. How could I reschedule after anesthesia shot? Why should I bare another time of pain to pinch? Absolutely not stand it. It's ironically no one asked me how I felt after I was done and they rushed to the next room. When I came out the assistant just asked me to make the next appointment in a month. I asked for what she said for cleaning the other half which I have done two months ago. Then she said coming back to polish. Why? There's no doctor's note. I really don't like them. During the waiting time, I asked them why I waited so long and was replied with they only have one doctor and the front need to check my insurance. It’s non sense since I am an old patient and the front has charged me around 9:40. The assistants have bad attitude and no service spirit since after I asked one of them the reason why I waited so long, they tried to avoid to meet me. I am so so so frustrated about this experience and share it here. Please take serious consideration before you go there! Update: today is 8/19 Saturday. It’s been five days since I was treated. I still feel my right half teeth dull pain and can’t chew hard food. I recalled the doctor cleaned me so hard and roughly. Not sure if the rough process hurt my teeth. I will see how it feels for a while. So sad for my teeth…

SCAM ALERT- Please stay away from this place. I should’ve read reviews before scheduling. This place is overbooking their appointments and understaffed. The front staff is really a joke. The guy sitting in front office of general dentist area was flirting with a girl and started showing me attitude when I asked him how long it takes. They scheduled me at 9 and i saw more than 30 people waiting. I asked again how long it will take they said it will take a while. I waited for more than an hour and left. Why you booked my appointment if it’s going to take a while. Please shut down your place because you’re scamming people. I’ll find another good professional dentist.

The office Clark kept calling your for annal check, when you come here followed the schedule, then wait for 1.5 hours, and tell you not the time for check out yet, need wait for another 2 months. Bad bad experience my appointment was at 3pm . I ask the receptionist at 3:30 when they will be calling me she said she need it to verify my insurance. So I wait then at 4 she calls and has me standing there while she's verifying my insurance. She tells me your insurance is good sorry for the wait would you like to reschedule? I said no . 15minutes pass and I tell her I'm leaving my appointment was at 3pm she ask me if I wanted to reschedule I said no and left. I'm not going back . Looking for another place to go. ?

This office is overbooking appointments and making patients wait several hours for routine checkups/cleaning. Why schedule appointments and send reminders, if your office is understaffed to care for your patients? To staff: please schedule only if you have the staff to do so and don’t overbook. This leads to bad care and angry patients. I just finished my 5 min cleaning and my teeth still has noticeable plaque in the inner areas. I never even got to see the dentist because he was already busy running see other patients. I was the first one there with an 8 am appointment scheduled 3 months advanced, three other patients entered after. Left 10:30am…

I am extremely dissatisfied with the way Dr. Dorsey treated me. He spoke to me in a very rude tone and threatened to stop the procedure in the middle of the process when I was expressing I was in pain. Dr. Dorsey ignored my cries and proceed agreesively. He yelled at me to open my mouth. He then told me to quite down I was scaring the other patients. Once the procedure was finished I was promptly removed from my seat into a wheelchair and pushed out the back door with the aides who were just as rude making me stand up telling me come on open your eyes!! I didn't even have enough time to gather myself and felt dumped on the curb for my driver to help me. I FEEL VERY DISRESPECTED!! I PLAN TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE MEDICAL BOARD!!

Don’t go here! They waste your time. They schedule appointments and are always understaffed and running behind. They will call and text you beforehand consistently throughout the week to confirm your dental appointment, yet still have you wait hours after your scheduled appointment. I had the mistake of committing to a root canal from this location. This is my 4th and hopefully final procedure.

This place has no respect for your time. Each time I’ve had an appointment I’ve waited in the lobby for over an hour. I waited an hour and half once to get X-rays done and the appointment was at 8:30am. Very unorganized. I will say I never got a faster credit card approval than from this place.

I’m new to Dental Group of Arcadia and I must say I was taken care of exceptionally.(First visit last week) First off I was in unbearable pain. I have two cracked teeth ,one tooth with a hole in it, three wisdom teeth that need to be pulled and a mouth in need of cleaning. When I called the office they were Very Sympathetic to my urgency and had me come that day. —-Very Caring Staff Plenty of parking and accessible for wheel chairs and strollers. The front lobby is child friendly, movie playing for children and in my case a positive distraction from my painful mouth. —Positive Location and Mindful of Patients Needs The lobby appearance is Exceptional, Front Office staff very Professional, Technicians treated me Delicately, Full of Patience and Thorough. The dentist, Dr Franco reviewed my X-rays, explained in detail the steps to bring my mouth back to a Healthy state. At the end of the visit the staff explained the steps needed for my dental care. I left the office feeling well taken care of, Extremely Satisfied and on a Path to better dental health. Dr. Franco sent my medication prescription electronically and when I arrived to the pharmacy they were ready. I’m personally appreciative of the Whole office staff. I’m especially grateful that the Dental Group of Arcadia found the time to see me on short notice. ———A Whole Package of Professionalism I’m not sure how long I was in the office but it didn’t matter to me. I understand that Dental Work can not be rushed and Dr. Franco was very gentle with my Extremely sore mouth. It Takes Time to Ex-Ray teeth (especially with patients that arrive to the office in pain), communicate with insurance companies, answer phone calls, and the many different unexpected cases/questions that all dentists/staff have with patients …it all takes time. The Amount of time I SPENT at the Dental Group of Arcadia flowed very nicely and I have ZERO complaints. -Patience is a Virtue and that’s exactly what Dental Group of Arcadia had with me. Patience I Appreciate the Whole Staff as they exhibit Professionalism, Very Respectful, Courteous and Diligent. The quality of the dental care itself is good. But there is always long wait times even for 8am appts. as they setup for the day. WAY Too Many calls for appt confirmations. I receive Two calls everyday for 1-2 weeks leading up to every appt. regardless of how many times I confirm the appt. Everyday its both the automated reminder call + a different receptionist confirming the appt.

I received 4 phone calls (3 live, and 1 automated), 3 emails, and 2 texts reminders for my 2pm appointment. That is too many reminders. I arrived on time, but I waited over an hour to be called for x-rays. After spending 30 minutes in x-ray, I waited another 15 minutes before someone examined me. I thought I was done, but then she told me that she only looked at my gums and I still need to see the dentist. At this point it was 3:55pm. My appointment was for 2pm and I was using a vacation day. I feel like it shouldn't take over 2 hours for an exam, and I feel like my time was disrespected.

I should have read the reviews before booking an appointment. I also had a 3-hour long visit for x-rays and a cleaning. I called yesterday and was pleasantly surprised that they could see me the next day. However when I called to follow up this morning because I never got the link with the new patient paperwork, they didn't have my appointment on record. No worries, they were able to still book me for an appointment today. However when I showed up for my appointment at 1:30, I ended up having to to wait over an hour to be taken back for x-rays. Then another 30 minutes for the doctor. Then another 20 minutes for the tech to do the cleaning, then another 30 min wait for the doctor to come back to finish the cleaning. He said was all done - I had to ask if they were going to floss because apparently that wasn't part of the cleaning? Had to wait for the tech to come back to actually finish the cleaning. At 4:20 I was back at the front desk to schedule for the next appointment. She apologized for the long wait and said they only have one doctor on Saturdays and are also short staffed. However looking at the reviews, this seems to be a common occurrence.

My experience was terrible. I definitely will be finding a new dentist. How can you improve? 1. Don't book patients if you can't see them on time. My daughter and my appointment were at 10 am. We waited for 45 minutes before we finally were brought back to a room to see my daughter. They weren't even aware that I also had an appointment, for some reason. 2. Be more understanding of the patient. I finally got x-rays done after 12 noon. I was already there for over 2 hours. The dentist examined me, and then some woman (who was NOT HELPFUL whatsoever) comes in the room to tell me that I'll have to wait another 30 to 45 minutes until the dentist is done with a procedure on another patient, so he can then do my teeth cleaning. But wait, he just left my room. Why couldn't he just do my cleaning while he was there instead of starting a procedure on a patient who arrived AFTER me?? It made absolutely no sense. 3. Don't expect your patients to be OK spending all day at your dental office!! My visit there was extremely frustrating! I tried to be nice through the process from waiting almost an hour for our appointment to then being told it would be an extra 30 to 45 minutes for me to FINALLY get my cleaning, which never happened. I left. I have things to do and my 3 year old daughter (who was also seen that same day) can't wait that long. I received no apology from any of the staff. The woman who came into the room to tell me about the extra wait for the teeth cleaning was not understanding. She was more concerned about defending the dental office. I'll be writing a Yelp review and adding to all of the negative reviews your dental office has. Despite the horrible reviews, I still went back. As a medical professional myself, this place needs a lot of improvement. I feel scammed every time I go there.

It was an awful experience! After the appointment was incorrectly scheduled by the office to 10 am instead of 9 with my spouse, I was checked in and had to wait another 1 h 30 min! After that my inquired how much longer should I wait and was told 15 min or reschedule! This is unacceptable treatment of patients. I should have been informed that office is behind schedule ahead of time and resolve apologies for incorrect scheduling immediately after coming in!

They completely wasted my time. I signed in at 3:57pm my appointment was at 4pm. After an hour I remind the lady that my appointment was at 4 and she’s like “they haven’t called you back yet?” And I said no and she said okay they’ll call you back right now. They check my teeth (it seemed like the guy was in a rush) and then tell me to go back out to the front and the lady asks if I can come back for the cleaning the next day because they close at 5pm. I waited an hour to get my teeth cleaned only to be told they’re closing and I should come back the next day. But the lady said “the cleaning won’t take long if you come back tomorrow” if it doesn’t take long why couldn’t they do it during the hour I was waiting? Or why couldn’t they do it the day I made the appointment? Extremely annoyed. I made the appointment a while ago, I do everything I’m supposed to and I get terrible service. Never going back. Save your time, energy, and breath and don’t go here.

Well for starters, when you have a scheduled appointment , don't have the receptionist come out while you've been waiting for 45 minutes tell you that the doctor can't see you, in her words, it will heal on its on. What kind of diagnosis is that. Maybe because it was a workmans comp thing, but still, don't tell the receptionist who's answering the phones give you the doctors diagnosis. He couldn't even come out and see me and talk, Dr. Dorsey, you don't treat individuals like that. I'm surprised because you come highly recommended, but what I experienced in your Arcadia office, no one should ever have to go through that. The receptionist mentioned to me that the doctor was in surgery and would be late seeing me, I said no problem. If you're too busy or just want to start your weekend early Dorsey, then you should have asked me to reschedule, and it would have been no problem, but you decided to do a move that's so uncommon it makes me sick. How dare you Dr. Dorsey! I'm probably not the only one this has happened to with West Coast Dental and Dr.Dorsey, but I'll never use or recommend this company to anyone.

Have respect for patients time by making sure you’re ready to provide your service. Otherwise, ask the patient if they can wait or if they would rather re-schedule. I waited from 1:30 to 2:20 before I was called in to the dentist. Once I was seated in the dental chair & the dentist administered the numbing shots, he said “ I’ll be right back”. Approx 25 minutes later, neither he nor anyone returned to proceed; at which point I departed!

Most of the doctors are polite and do a good job. Although a few can be quite rough or impolite. I went yesterday to get my braces replaced and the doctor laughed while I was in pain and chewed gum whilst replacing my brackets and wires. Wait takes a long time which wouldn't matter if they just did their work instead of having small talk amongst themselves. Update:1/12/23 I got here for a 10:30 appointment and they took a few people ahead of me who got here after I did. They need to get their priorities in order.

The fact that we were not told that our small children were just getting a referral for a pediatric dentist is very strange. The office was curt and short and provided very little help. The dentist we saw had no bedside manner and shamed me as a parent. I don't ever want to return here.

By committing to your patients needs at the appointment time scheduled. My son had an appointment at 9 am which means first ones in the morning and all they wanted to do was a cleaning and reschedule his fillings for another day because they said they had to many treatments scheduled . However I specifically scheduled this appointment on this day because my son was off school and was able to wait and proceed without missing school since he travels to school in LA and there is no available times after school on school days this was all stated at our conversation when I scheduled the appointment. While I was waiting for my son to get treatment that he never got I seen a couple walk in needed assistance on an appointment and getting seen. They asked them to sit and wait to see if their insurance covered they waited and 30 min later the front desk girl in Spanish tells them they would have to pay for the consultation and then go from there on what needs to be done. Long story short they get rid of my son and try to reschedule him so they can see a cash paying patient . Unprofessional and unfair for my kid that needed treatment. Save yourself time and find another dental office they take very long to assist you and they don’t care About you they just see money . be careful

Waited 2-3 hours. My appointment was at 2pm and I was able to come to the chair around 4pm. The doctor came in to check on me 20 min later after I was seated. He then looked at my teeth for less than a minute and told me I’m ready to go and just take meds… Front desk ladies were nice greeting and chitchatting but weren’t experienced enough to answer simple questions. Overall my experience with them was they have no time to answer your questions or concerns. Well, I hope not every of their doctors is like the one I encountered.

I had one of the worst experiences at this clinic. I scheduled an appointment at 4pm. Was there few minutes early and filled out all my information. Then I waited about close to an hour to me seen. And it was after I had to ask if the front desk can check on my turn. The receptions showed no empathy. Said the understand but still took their time to have me seen. After I finally got to the X-ray. I had to ask for a napkin for my Invisalign. The lady took 5 minutes to just get a napkin. The whole process was unnecessarily long. After my X-ray, I was told to wait again at another seat for the dentist to check up. It took another 20 minutes or so for the dentist to come. Dr Franco seems very nice and that was about the only good interaction I had with anyone there. However, after he went over my X-rays, I began to wait another half hour for another dentist to come for cleaning. Another lady just dropped by to let me know the pricing for if i do procedures. After I let her know i just need to get my teeth cleaned and to please help me check if someone can assist, she showed no sympathy and blamed me that someone called to ask if i can come half hour early but I couldn’t, as if it’s my fault they overbooked. In addition. (I didn’t even schedule an appointment with Dr Franco, I scheduled with Dr Lui, but they just said anyone can see me and that she’s off today. It would have been nice to know when I scheduled my appointment that I would or would not see a certain dentist that i booked for). And then she went over to the lady doing X-ray and just began chit chatting. Dr Franco probably felt my frustration of waiting so long and came to clean for me himself. Halfway through another lady came by to assist. The whole process was horrendous. The machine sprayed water all over my face. I had to hold on to napkins and wipe my face while they cleaned my teeth for me. It was an absolute nightmare. I would never return and would not recommend to anyone. Over two hour wait all together for a set appointment is ridiculous..

THERE are two areas of performance that I will comment on. My appt was scheduled & confirmed by telephone. I arrived 15 minutes early. When I attempted to sign in I was told that my scheduled appt confirmation could not be found. That oversight was disconserting. After several minutes it was found. I did provide the appt card provided to me at the previous apt. I waited for an approximate 60 minutes to be attended. The waiting area was completely full. I fully acknowledge & understand the range of services is extensive. The age group & respective service provided is broad. Once I was seated the attending technician was attentive & professional. I shared with her my early arrival & the disturbing oversights at the front desk. She knew that I delayed in the front office. I had an appointment and waited 2 hours then they told me nothing could be done because what I was here for needed a “long appointment time’ so they had to reschedule me 1 month later. New patient-Be Aware!!! This office operates under deception by luring patients into contract without disclosing their scheduling limitations. They refused to refund when we cancelled the contract on the same day WITHOUT service commencement after we learned they could no longer offer ortho services on Saturdays. The sales rep Juana Celis (She goes by Jenny) told us it was not a problem to cancel and to offer the refund through the corporate office which never happened. We realized later she could refund us right away but intentionally dragged the time in order to put the order through. I filed a dispute with my bank. The bank said the company challenged the dispute by saying we signed the contract, the service started and we were responsible for the payment. After the 2nd dispute, the company said they could only refund us for $2900 because they ordered the invisalign. We told them the contract was signed under deception, it was invalid to start with because we told them we could never make Thursdays which was the only day they had service in Arcadia. We entered the contract in good faith, we should not be responsible for the service that the office could not deliver! We had made numerous efforts to contact local offices and corporate office without any result. It has been ongoing for 3 months. If we still do not get refund within a week, we are going to proceed to the court.

I was there for an hour and a half with my autistic child and only got X-rays done. I’m very disappointed in the lack of organization and time management. When I requested my child’s x rays so that I can go somewhere else I was told that I needed to pay for them. I understand that it is policy, but under these circumstances I feel that it’s the very least that should have been done. I went ahead and canceled all future appointments for my child and my other two children as well as ortho consultations. I don’t like wasting time and that’s what today was a waste of time.

Then orthodontist appointments at 5pm, when we got there i noticed 8 people were booked at 5pm with the orthodontist and we were told it may be an additional 45 min wait. I had a regular dentist for years. I can no longer see him because he doesn't take my new insurance. I was at this office cause I had a tooth that was broken and needed extraction. Next thing I know here is this person telling me it's going to be $600 out of my pocket for pulling a tooth because it needed a graft(she never told me what the insurance woud pay).I told her I only wanted the tooth extracted no graph. She told me the doctor would not pull it with out the graft. Wow. So my only alternative was to go along with it cause I was in pain and I couldn't shop around for another dentist. As far as I'm concerned this place is only out for money . I checked with my regular dentist the next day to see if this could have been done without a '"graft " and he said it could have absolutely been done WITHOUT a graft. I will be reporting this to my insurance company's so they know about this experience. I did not have ,$600 so they put me on a payment plan. What a joke. Here is a perfect example of a place that doesn't not put the patient first and only cares about money. The idea that I had an active infection and was in significant pain and she wouldn't pull the tooth without putting in a graft because I had to pay $600 before she would pull it was irresponsible and put my health at risk. The way they could have improved my experience with them was to just pull the tooth. I did not have that kinda money and that graft.was not needed since I did not plan on replacing it with an implant.

I take my 13-year-old daughter to this office every month for her braces. My daughter's appointments used to be scheduled on Wednesdays at this place, and I was satisfied with their service for about a year. When I moved to Orange County a few months after signing the contract for my daughter's braces, I asked one of the office workers if they had any locations closer to where I lived. She told me that I could not switch to a different location until my daughter's contract was over, which caused me to have to drive an hour to Arcadia every month for her to get her braces done. One day, I drove an hour to this dental office, but the office worker told me their orthodontist had stopped working here, and she told me their new orthodontist was only available on Saturdays. Although I was unhappy with this schedule change and the time I wasted driving to Arcadia, I could still manage taking my daughter here on Saturdays. However, I experienced a similar situation for the second time today. I drove all the way to Arcadia only to find out that the office was now closed on Saturdays, and that they had rescheduled my daughter's appointment to a Thursday without my consent. Every time I have to take my daughter to Arcadia, I have to take half of a day off from work without getting paid. I also pay over $130 monthly to pay for my daughter's braces, only to get this poor service in return. As a single mother, my time and money is very valuable to me, but this dental office considers their clients' time and money as worthless trash. This dental office is nice to their clients at first to convince them to sign contracts for dental services like braces, but they treat clients like garbage after the contracts get signed. I wouldn't recommend this dental office to anyone, unless you are looking for a place to waste your time and money on.

I don't understand how this business can stay in business! A dental cleaning appointment should never take 2 hours. I checked in at 8:30 in the morning and got out at 10:35 am. If I did not complain about the wait I am not even sure I can get out before lunch. I understand the business is under staffed. But they also need to understand people who make early morning appointments have a job that they need to go to! Management really need to do something about it!

Signed and paid in full for my daughter braces to your office because it was open on Saturdays I am a single mom who doesn’t get home from work during the week until 5:30-6pm and without any notice change your ortho to only Thursdays. Waste time and bad service!!! Rude staff, impolite and arrogant attitude, slow service, no any respect to their customers, very expensive price. I was asked at 13:00pm, but till 15:00pm, still waiting in the hall, no any excuse for this delayed service from any staff. I became anxious because another appointment had to be canceled and I increased my voice for a protest, but the front staff pressed me with a much higher voice volume. Rude and conceited, I don't know if they know there were many other dental service providers which can provide much better service than them. A very strange and ignorant dental service organization. I will ask my insurance company to change a new one, this is the worst dental service provider I even met.

West Coast Dental is the Puppy Mill of dental cooperatives. STAY AWAY.. They collect payment before service and then overbook and make customers wait forever. What other business makes you pay completely up front. Doctors and dentists become shills for the board at co-ops like this.

My appointment was at 10am I didn’t get called back until 10:35 to be out in a room for 15 minutes then I was moved to get x rays once I was done I wasn’t seen until 11:15 which then was my exam that felt very rushed . I wasn’t able to get my teeth cleaned due to timing I had to be at work at 12 . I just feel like patients were over booked and we value our time . Maybe book less so patients are seen at their actual appointment .

No matter whats your appointment is at. They will just keep you wait for atleast an hour. This is my third visit here experiencing the same everytime. Front desk ladies wont tell you how long the wait time is. Though they talk with smile, they are not much welcoming. My last visit they scheduled my daughter an appointment and when we came to the facility, they said they dont have the doctor on site to see, said they were sorry for inconvenience after I waited for 90 mins, and they just scheduled another one. Seems all the 5* were given by fake accounts, you can observe all those reviews were given by new profiles or the o es never reviewed any.

If it wasn’t for Dr. Lui, I would have left this office years ago. The customer service is poor. Staff laughing in the back. Taking forever to receive any service. I arrived at 9:25 for my 9:30 appointment. I did not have my x-rays done until about 10:30. I did not see the dentist until 11. Then at 11:30, I had enough. TWO HOURS of essentially waiting. I got up and started to head out. Just as I left my room, the women who reviews insurance and services met me in the hallway. I could tell she was surprised. We exchanged hellos. And I waited there staring at her. I waited for her to say, “Is there something wrong? How can I help you? Can I show you back to your chair?” She said nothing, so I kept walking. As I turned around to see if she was following me, she had her back towards me walking to the back of the office. No one called me to reschedule. No one followed me to ask if there was something they could do. Nothing. I’ve been coming to this office since 2011 and customer service has decreased significantly. Wait times have doubled. And no one cares about patient schedules. It’s a shame because the dentist are so kind and thorough. No one ever tries to up sell me or tell me when my teeth are worse than they are. I’ve always appreciated that but it’s not worth it anymore.

Came in for root canal and crown on 29 1st dentist I saw said I need to anchor it with a connected crown on 29. Filed down both did root canal then came back for double crown didn't fit 2nd dentist said two separate crowns so we filed down 27 for no reason and charged me cash out of pocket when it should have been covered by insurance. So now 28 that was initially healthy has a crown, 29 the crown still didn't fit and had to get refitted going on 3 rd time for crown fitting and temporary tooth. Virginia in finance refused to adjust my bill and agreed I should go through my insurance with my complaint. Not a good experience at all.

I feel Dental Group of Arcadia or West Coast Dental has truly been a great dentist experience for sure. I have been going here for a few years now. They have a friendly staff. Access to a restroom. One of the people from the front desk today by the name of Vivian was very nice to me, we had a nice conversation and gave me 2 bottles of water ? to drink one now and one for later. They take the time to explain things about what is needed for your dental needs. I have things done on my teeth for various procedures. And they tell me what is covered with my insurance and what I need to do with my teeth and options. I just wish my insurance would cover more of my dental needs but overall I really enjoy coming here even though I don’t really enjoy coming to the dentist period to have my teeth ? being worked on. Dental Group of Arcadia or West Coast Dental they really have made my dentist experience a pleasant one every time I come here.

My appt time was for 8am but not seen till 8:20am. After the cleaning, I felt the hygienist had not completed the upper teeth and let him know. He said the uppers were cleaned with the water. I have had my teeth cleaned many times and feel this was not a thorough cleaning. He also did not run floss between my teeth.

Front office staff isn't very welcoming. I forgot a mask and when I asked for one, one of the staff who I wasn't even talking to, rudely interjected telling me the CDC still mandates masks in hospitals and doctors offices. She then handed me a mask, but not without letting me know the 'doctor' pays for the masks. I didn't dignify her bitchyness with a response and just put on the mask because it wasn't worth wasting my breath on someone who can't be respectful to the customers she is supposed to be serving. After the x-rays, the dentist came in and told me my gums were inflamed but didn't explain why or how I could improve my gum health outside a 'deep cleaning' at their office. So I asked her those questions and she did tell me that if I floss more often and brushed my teeth more, it would help. Overall, I feel like this office needs to elevate the level of professionalism they provide to customers, PAYING CUSTOMERS, improve how they communicate with customers, and shift their sight from profits and turn it to how they can best serve the community they practice in. Then their business will grow organically.

I’ve been coming here for general dentistry for many years and decided to finally get my teeth straightened after years of seeing the Invisalign posters in your office. After consulting with Dr. Nick (who is no longer with your company) about 9 months ago, he convinced me to go with the clear tray option instead of traditional braces. When I went to pick up the trays, I saw that they weren’t the Invisalign brand and instead were made by 3M, which I was not made aware of when I had agreed to the trays. They were made of an extremely rigid plastic that was incredibly difficult to remove and would sometimes crack. When I had complained to Dr. Nick about this, he said that he had been getting a lot of complaints about the “user experience” and had relayed the message to the reps, which had informed him about them changing the formulation of the plastic to make it a little less rigid. I, unfortunately, was stuck with the uncomfortable old plastic ones. When I last saw Dr. Nick (two months ago) to check up on my progress and to pick up the last set of trays, he said the current tray that I was wearing wasn’t quite fitting correctly. He told me to finish out the rest of the sequence of trays, and that I could just an adjustment when they were complete after the last one. I had my appointment in the office today with the new orthodontist and, to no one’s surprise, my teeth weren’t straight. He informed me my teeth still were not straight, made some notes and left the room. Moments later, someone came in and told me that I had to pay extra money to get them corrected. You cannot imagine the absolute frustration, anger and disappointment to hear this after paying $5,000.00 out of pocket. I paid for a service to get my teeth straightened, and that service is not complete. You can even see on my last 22nd tray that the teeth are where they were meant to be. The molds for them are also not straight so it isn’t a matter of misuse. It seems like a phony bait and switch to upsell me on a service I had already paid for. The worst part is that the original doctor that I had been working with is no longer with your company, and I have no doubt he would have advocated for me. He knew that my teeth wouldn’t be straight from these trays. I have no problem with the general dentistry side of the clinic, but would definitely not recommend coming here for orthodontics.

The place is clean and their work is too, however it is littered with poor organization. They have gone through so many in house mangers/management it's like a new episode of Game Of Throwns each visit. The wait time is AT BEST 1 hour plus. *** EVERY SINGLE TIME I GO EACH PERSON IN THE WAITING ROOM IS LEFT TO ROT. *** Again organization is not their strong suit it is a shame because their work is good, if they had a better leader the employees I would like to think could/would follow, until then I wouldn't be surprised if they close by their own doing due to poor execution in leadership.

Update 2: 3 Year Review Please find another dental clinic if you are able to. Find a clinic that honors your request and respects your time. I have wasted over 48 hours in total at this clinic and would not recommend anyone to give this clinic your business. Horrible customer service that never puts a smile on their face even though they want to put a smile on ours. Unapologetic for any delays or inconvenience caused. Also, they never explain their treatment or give you an update when you ask for one. All they care about is that you don't end up suing them in the future. Update: I asked for a quote about an out of insurance office visit multiple times and they did not get back to me until the day of the appointment. Honestly pretty frustrated with this clinic and would not visit a large clinic in the future again. If your local dental office accepts your insurance, just go with that. This is from a patient that’s been here for over 3 years. The service at this location is great. However, the wait time is incredibly long and I have to wait anywhere from 30-90 minutes for my appointment. Appointment time only reserves your spot in line, but you have to wait when you check in at the lobby for your appointment. I can't express how frustrated I get at times because of the extremely long wait and reserve two hours of my day each time I have an appointment.

It is absolutely unacceptable to eliminate service days without any notice to your clientele. It is also absolutely unacceptable to unilaterally reschedule appointments TWICE and then shrug your shoulders, literally, at the frustration of your clientele. Further, it is also unacceptable to open your doors late, provide ZERO notice to those who have appointments that you are running behind schedule, only to find out when you arrive that they claim to be running “about an hour” behind, when in reality, it is over 3 HOURS!!! Further, I contacted the office 3 times about the unacceptable rescheduling and stressed the urgent problem that they were creating and making worse with the inexcusable delay in providing treatment and no one would acknowledge the problem and simply said, “ someone will call you back” , which never happened. Also, at the last visit, the staff refused to allow me to go in with my son when I said I had specific instructions to go over with the doctor. Instead, the doctor decided to take instructions from A MINOR without parental consent and refused to speak to me, the parent. NEVER! I am not getting proper service or even mediocre service. How can you improve? Let me count the ways: 1. Respect that your clientele has a schedule outside of their dental appointment that doesn’t revolve around your office; 2. Do NOT unilaterally reschedule clientele appointments without checking first; 3. Do NOT cut appointment days available to your clientele and then refuse to make accommodations; 4. Improve customer service training; 5. Do NOT double-book appointments as this is obviously what happened; 6. Hire more staff; 7. Respect your clientele time; 8. Provide compensation when you fail miserably

Whole process took about 2 hours. With 20 minutes spent on X-rays and 15 minutes with dentist. Whole thing felt like a industrial assembly sales line. With the goal of upselling me Dentist was good by the way, but was overbooked and running behind. I overheard that she had to miss her lunch break in order to see me because of booking.

Very bad, very poor service attitude. They are very disrespectful to patients. When you arrive early, you have to wait a long time; but when you are late, they refuse to let you see a doctor. Avoid at all costs. I’ve been going here for nearly a year and can tell you: They will book an appointment with you and, no matter what, have you wait in the waiting room for an hour. They never have “enough rooms” and make everyone wait. OK so don’t keep over-booking people! On top of that, I regularly went to check ins and cleanings, and was told I didn’t have any cavities. Fast forward three months later, and I need a root canal?? AVOID.

Waiting time is always toooooooooo long! How long? Last time I waited for 1 hour to get seeing the dentist; the time before that I waited 2.5 hours in order to just get my teeth cleaned, then another appointment I waited 2 hours in total. And these are only waiting time! So, prepare 2 hours waiting time with them!

I would give them zero stars if I could. They denied care for my child because I wouldn’t sign a waiver that stated that I would give them permission to restrain my child if necessary and did not want to let me in the room even if my kid is a minor. They said I couldn’t be in the room and that I had to sign the form allowing them to restrain my kid if necessary and if not they would treat my kid. I left and filed a complaint and already spoke to my lawyer because treating a minor without a parent present is illegal. Do not take your kids here EVER!!!!

I LOVE THE SERVICE! Everyone is always so nice.Patty has make some significant changes since taking over the office. First and foremost, THE WAIT TIME HAS IMPROVED 100%. Even with the Covid restrictions, they were able to get me in and out within an hour of my ortho appt time!! I had planned to leave but after Patty took over, she changed my mind and I’m so glad she did!! NOT TO MENTION NEW THE ORTHODONTIST IS AMAZING!! In the few months he’s been there, I’ve seen more movement/correction of my teeth, than I did in the whole 2 years I’ve had them!! Not too pleased with the service here. They are very nice people, but seem to be really spacey/inconsistent with how they run their business. Very long wait times in the waiting room AND while in the chair, with an apparent ineffective intraoffice communication system. On multiple occasions concerning different situations, I was told that I would be receiving a call back and never did, despite me calling multiple times. They cancelled an appointment on me without my confirmation or even notice, just let me come in with no knowledge of this and waste working hours, then tried to make it seem like I hadn’t booked it (I had text, email, and the appt card for proof). They don’t really explain procedures or what exactly is going on, or even what they are doing to your teeth. They just charge you and call it a day. They also did not complete a treatment on me one day, and it took me asking a different dentist/assistant about it before they even did it (and then after my dentist made it seem like I was lying about not having received it on part of my mouth despite me proving it). I would say the treatment isn’t the sloppiest, but I do spend a lot of time picking at the “excess” left over. I do believe the people there are very nice, but not a place I want to continue doing business at or would even recommend to others. I just think it’s poorly run by well meaning people, and that’s not really who I want working on my teeth or in my mouth, especially as someone who has always been wary about going to the dentist.

Every single time I visit I had to wait for more then an hour before they see you . It was extremely frustrating as what’s the purpose of having an appt for when you still need to wait for an hours plus for your turn and they don’t allow you to step out of the office and return later when it’s closer to your turn . Not bad but seems like they are a bit unorganized. Multiple delays with insurance paperwork not being submitted. Had to call insurance multiple times to be told it had not been submitted more a few times.. And bad planning caused them not having dentures ready on day of extractions was very inconvenient. Also they changed the price of bone grafting after already charging me the earlier quote. So that felt a little odd. Specialist that did extractions was great. I believe his name was Dr. Kevin Dorsey? Maybe. I'm bad with names. Anyways. Not bad. Overall experience...but not great. Just for clarification, my insurance approved it immediayely when they actually received the paperwork from the dental office. It was getting the dental office to actually submit the paperwork that took months. The insurance approval was 3 days (over a weekend).

The new ortho is really professional and knows what he is doing. Before, we really did not like how the previous ortho worked on both of my kids’ braces. The new one clearly explains everything to us and we can see the improvement on my kids’ teeth every time the braces were adjusted. Also, better management now and process of scheduling. No more waiting for such a long time. You will be attended to 15 mins on the average from the time you logged in. For the past 3 years, we have to wait 1 hour minimum before they can take the patient in. I also like it that they already have weekend schedule which works best for us. I hope this location keeps up the good work and management.

Would recommend people go to a different dental office who actually values your time. I’ve been going to this location multiple times, and every single time they have made me wait over an hour and a half after your appointment time. Even before covid, they made us wait for extended periods of time. Head to an office that will not waste your time. Or else be ready to spend your entire day for a simple visit. They overbook appointments and always have the waiting room packed with people. Unsafe during covid times. Today, i went in with an appointment at 2pm and they had me wait over an hour just to tell me I wouldn’t be called in for another 30 minutes. I honestly had errands to take care of and ended up walking out. Waste my time. I just changed my dentist office. Also, they try to up charge you on services.

The wait time is horrible and front desk is a bit impatient. Other than that, everything is okay. Just that they don’t seem to disinfect the chairs in the waiting area and the area inside, kind of worried about covid because of that.

We do ask patients to wait outside and in your car for social distancing reasons, to ensure everyone's safety. We also spend some time in between each patient's visit to properly clean and sanitize the entire room or area before allowing the next patient to come in. This might sometimes cause a setback in the wait time, but the time spent cleaning in between patients will benefit you by lowering the risk of possible infection or sickness during this time of the pandemic. Regardless, we would like to apologize for the longer than usual wait time, and understand how frustrating it can be to be seen late when you have gone out of your way to make it to our office. I got there 5 minutes on time. Was asked by the receptionist to sign myself in and have a seat. I get a phone call 20 mins later after sitting from the office asking where I was at. I told the office I was in their waiting room waiting. She then called me to the front desk just to tell me I had to reschedule my appointment because they didn’t know I was in the waiting area. What a bummer! I waited a long time for this appointment and they made it seem like it was my fault. On second hand I brought my child in who is under age and gets severe anxiety at the dentist. They wouldn’t even allow me to be back there with him. I didn’t even get to see his X-rays or how he was doing. Not the greatest experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place. There is only like 5 chairs to sit in their waiting area. There is no one cleaning the chairs down after someone just sat in it. The wait is super long. Both times I’ve waited over 2 hours just for a cleaning

This Clinic has good staff and equipments, friendly and skillful, except the wait time is a little too long. A cleaning took us 2+ hours total. Every time we go there , we had to sit and wait at least for one hour without any treatment. Dr, Lui is a very nice and skillful doctor.

We were nicely greeted and got our appointment without any problem. Our major fear was what the diagnostic would be. We saw too often on yelp and other review sites that dentists in Arcadia were heavily recommending a series of expensive treatments, specifically replacing former work (like crowns, bridge) done by other dentists. Unfortunately, this was the case for this visit. Conclusion: we are checking with friends whether they can recommend a "honest" dentist driven by maximum customer satisfaction rather than by their bottom line. As a side remark: the health care system we endure in our country is sub-par. It is just a business. Exception? Medicare works well, far better than private insurance driving prices up for nothing better. Just intermediates to jack up bills.

I have mixed feelings about this place. Dental work great! Office is a tough one, they are great when you're there, but then there are, for me a few times that I showed up to my appointment after leaving work early, fighting traffic for over an hr to bre the on time, just to get there and be told that my appointment was canceled because the surgeon was not there! ? Then also they promise you a free electric toothbrush if you refer new patients to them, and going on a year and they never made good on their deal! So great dental work, the rest not great, plus I feel they try and get you to do unnecessary work.

My appointment was 2:30 and was taken inside at 3:40. More than 1 hour of wait. My X ray took almost an hour and I waited for the doctor for 30 mins the doctor needed more X ray so waited 20 mins for technician got done , waited for doctor again for 20 mins. I got done at 5:30PM and came at 2:30 on a THURSDAY. 3 hours for an exam no treatments at all. Never coming back here

So my 81 yr father in law went in today for a basic cleaning. Appointment was made about 2 weeks in advance. My father-in-lawhad a few questions and wanted to know how much the insurance was going to pay and how much he was going to come out of pocket. Most dental places have this information done before you get to their office. Apparently they call the insurance and they were not able to get in touch with anybody my father-in-law waited 1 hour and received no services at all because they could not get in touch with the insurance which is really funny. We were then told that we should call the insurance ourselves. After reading the reviews i have advised to my father-in-law to find another place for services.

Appointment was made one month prior because pedodontist only comes 1x/a month. 1 of my 2 children was asked to fast for her appointment. We followed instructions as told. Appointment day arrives, 8 A.M. We arrived on time and signed in. After 15-20 minutes, we were called in to have x-rays and consults. The tech and pedodontist we're very kind and informative. Cleaning was done for one child. We were asked to wait in the lobby. After a few back and forth communication, we were told that my child would have to wait until 1 P.M. for the next availability that day for her to be treated. It didn't make sense. Why ask a 4 year old child to go hungry and book multiple appointments because your business is short staffed and can not meet client demand? The next option offered was to make another appointment for the next month to get treatment. A representative tried to explain that the initial appointment is a consult and they don't know what to expect until a doctor reviews the charts. If that was the case, why ask for a fast? A scheduling system exists for a reason, so you can see what's available. That's where this office failed us. They overbooked and failed to meet the need within reasonable time. Review update: I was asked to walk in for an appointment concerning issues my child was experiencing. I was able to speak with office manager. She made sure that my child was seen within reasonable timeframe. We were not seen by the pedodontist because he was scheduled that day. We did see another dentist and she did a post-op check up to ensure that my child's gums were healing well. Thankfully, they are. The office manager went out of her way and gifted my child with balloons, stickers and a headband. Vast improvement from our previous visits.

Last week I went to Dental Group of Arcadia to get a bridge for a recently extracted tooth. My previous dentist was good but had grown archaic, had only one computer whose assistant didn’t seem to know how to work it, and a review grade of 3.5. I searched the Internet for a dentist close to me with a high rating that my insurance would accept. I found Dental Group of Arcadia with a rating of 4.7. When I arrived the office was buzzing with happy activity. There were about 40 chairs in the modern waiting room. Vanessa, a friendly face at the desk, welcomed me, and asked if I prefered to complete the registration by computer (!) or by hand. THEY HAD COMPUTERS FOR CLIENTS. About five minutes later, Elaina, a most competent lab technician came and escorted me to a room, asked me a few questions, made me feel at ease, then took numerous x-rays of my teeth. She then escorted me to another room where I sat in a dentist chair. Immediately, Dr. Whitenhill, a pretty, young and welcoming dentist, came in and introduced herself. She said Dr. Rita Lui, the head dentist (?) was in a room next door. Dr. Whitenhill brought with her a male assistant, whose name I forgot, and who wrote down everything Dr Whitenhill said as she, using the latest equipment, inspected my every tooth and every missing tooth space. She even measured the depth of my gums. What a competent dentist! She then explained a full treatment of my dental needs. She also told me I needed some surgical work on my teeth and gave me written instructions to hand to two in-house surgeons. Before she left she brought in the office manager, Rocio Huizar, and introduced her to me, telling me she would go over the insurance process with me, which she did. Rocio Huizar left no stone unturned. She covered in a brief span every scenario and answered all my questions as though I were the only person she had ever met. As I left Dental Group of Arcadia to wait for my insurance company to approve the procedures Dr. Whitenhill had recommended, my only concern was not that I accept them for my dental work, but rather whether they would accept me! I think I have found a dental home, and you can’t imagine how comforting that is. I don’t think 4.7 is a high enough rating. I gave them a 5.

The Orthodontist is so disappointing! They only have once a week (Tuesday) in the office, so if you have to reschedule the appointment for some reason, you will have to wait another 3-4 weeks at least to get the next appointment, which is quite inconvenient. And the attitude of the front desk (Jenny) is so rude. I hope I didn't choose them or didn't pay them off at the first visit.

I schedule and appointment to get my teeth cleaned at 10:30 I'm there by 10 they tell me it's gonna take 30 minutes longer so I wait, they take me in I get my x rays taken then they move me to a different room were I wait an hour by myself to get my teeth cleaned. By the time I got out it was going on 1 o clock, because the teeth cleaning took about an hour. Waiting room was damn near empty. It's been like this every time I go to get my teeth cleaned.

Wait time is ridiculous because they schedule multiple appointments at the same time. One hour after my appointment time I was still waiting. At 1 hour 20 mins I finally said something. They took me in a room and left me there. After the dentist checked me she said all I needed was a cleaning. Again I waited. I was there 2 1/2 hours just for a cleaning!!!

Today my 11 year old son has an appointment with the dentist for tooth extraction at 9 am. We are the 1st ones to come. They took my son inside and while i was waiting outside, thinking they are removing his teeth, inwas wondering why my son was peeking in and out . I went inside just to realize, he was left alone and everyone is busy taking care of their patients. The time was 10.30. I was so upset that they left my son alone keeping me in the dark. This place is very inefficient and extremely disorganized for a group full of doctors and assistants. Shame on this place.

Never go to this place. Always look elsewhere. They even gave me a b.s. response to my complaint. Just check it out below. Negative 31 stars! First, I got there 20 mins before my 10am appointment. I was there for an hour. They said they couldn't see me until a week later. I explained that my tooth hurts unless I take pain medicine. They didn't even look me over. No exam xrays or anything! They were clearly overwhelmed and needed to clear people out.Needless to say I left with a feeling that they cared less about their patients and more about their lunch and cigarette breaks. We see you guys smoking outside the building. Thanks for nothing. My tooth still hurts and I have to find a new place to go. I would never recommend this place EVER! USC dental might even be better!

INSURANCE FRAUD SPECIALISTS. They charged my dads insurance for a treatment he never received. we found out later when my dad needed the treatment but the new dentist couldn't authorize it because apparently dental group of Arcadia charged everything they could without doing any of the services. Now working with the insurance company to file insurance fraud, will also contact legal help to sort this out.

We payed for x-rays to be taken here a few years ago, then we decided they were piling on bills so we decided to go somewhere else. When we asked for our x-rays (which we payed for) they told us we couldn't have them, when we insisted we payed for them so they were ours, they sent us very low res-pixilated copies. Ever since they sent us annoying texts celebrating our kids' birthdays....like we want to be reminded of their bad will...do yourself a favor and run for the hills.

Strongly advise against going here. They said my dental insurance wouldn't cover and showed me some supposed paperwork from my insurance. They also wouldn't give me a copy of the paper work they showed me. I checked my insurance and it did cover! They also told me I needed other dental work that would have been $600. I went to another dentist they told me I didn't need it. Never coming here again!

Worst dental service I have ever had. I had a long waiting which was over one hour later than my appointment. They did an x-ray for me and asked me to remove wisdom teeth and fill a tooth. But it is too expensive so I insisted to do just cleaning. However, they ignored my words and just left me not served for half hour. So I just left with only an x-ray done and later changed my dentist to someone else. After several months, I received a bill from them saying that my x-ray fee has not been paid yet. But when I asked my insurance, they said they already paid it. However, one month later, I received the letter again which is quite fraudulent.

The worse dental service i ever seen , my kid even did not have teeth cleaning in 2 visits, waiting time is horrible, service is really unprofessional, people there did not know what they are doing, they only moving around without any work to do. they need a good manager i dout if the place have even a manager or a responsible person to ask about what is going on. they schedule you another appointment to do nothing again, just get money from your insurance and count appointment after one without any work done, the only thing i got after 2 visits is X ray with a broken machine so they had to perform it many times in order to get a suitable photo, they waste my trim and money, I will never go there again for me or for my kids

I had an 11:00 for a dental check-up and periodontal cleaning I waited 45 minutes and had to ask when they were going to see me. Then they took me in immediately but I only got x-rays because the wait was going to be longer for the dental check-up and cleaning.

Just like all the other 1 star reviewers, this place is just unfortunate for many reasons. -the staff acts rude and seem to have no care for you besides no surprise the MONEY THEY ARE CLEARLY AFTER YOUR POCKETS. One of the staff members said that ONE SMALL PART of my gums are inflamed (braces so it is common) and insisted on a treatment to be done. Now, they are not going to just take off that one inflamed piece. They take out AN ENTIRE LEFT OR RIGHT SIDE OF THE GUM. Each side costs $400. Next month, I come back to a new orthodontist (they have been changing orthodontists a lot) who told me do not worry about it it will go down once the braces are off. SO THESE GUYS TRY TO RIP YOU OFF. - the wait is just terrible. When you are on time, they take like 2 hours. When I am early, like 30 minutes, they take like 30-60 minutes. Be an HOUR EARLY then boom you are in. TIMES ARE SET FOR A REASON. They probably take so long because, for example the ortho, they spend their time pretty much doing their work and when they do not have anything else to do they WATCH THE TV or talk smack in spanish - do not get your hopes up high with these people either, one moment they tell me something is gonna get done, next appointment "oh we gotta do this and that (excuse that the LEGIT DOCTOR is back) before we do what you want so wait like another 4 month (: _They do not to even seem to care about the amount of pressure the ortho AND EVEN the dentist put into your mouth when they clean your teeth or do something with the braces. When they brush, they scrub hard and one rule for brushing is NOT TO SCRUB HARD, And they say oh your gums are bleeding because they are inflamed. If someone was rubbing on your teeth aggressively your gums will be bleeding too. And when the ortho doest their procedure with braces, they can just leave a piece of wiring stabbing your cheek and gums. At this point, when my lips or gums bleed I am not surprised why. -They expect you to have all the time in the world to take care of your teeth and do not take work, problems, or school as an excuse to why you are not consistent with your teeth. They need to be more understanding of your life and priorities.

I would strongly advise not to go this wretched, dishonest place. I will not criticize the doctors; because I think they are clueless what the staff is doing. This establishment is one that is not personable. Doctors come and go, but the same management is there to make sure they double/triple charge you, and will not follow the contract by your insurance company. I always thought I had bad insurance because how much I had to pay out. I realize later going to a different dental office that I actually have good insurance. I lost a lot of money because of Dental Group's greed! Management there is about greed and very unprofessional! Reported them to the Dental Board because their lack of concern regarding a health issue they didn't address right away. The staff always seemed confused - Management is terribly confused and unprofessional. You better know your insurance, or you will be a victim of greed if you are going to: Dental Group of Arcadia!

Beware of Dental Group of Arcadia! I came here once in great pain needing a broken Wisdom tooth extracted right away! Instead they decided to do a complete set of Xrays and exam, and tried to sell me $4000 of dental work. When I told them I didn't want what they said I needed, they tried to sell me an alternative for about half that price. All I wanted was the extraction, and they scheduled it for a week later! I've never been back there after the tooth extraction. I might also add, I've been to three other dentists since and none of them said I needed any of that work Dental group of Arcadia wanted to do!

Me, not knowing too much about the braces process, like to ask why certain things are happening so I am informed, afterall I am paying for this so I atleast would like to know. It's almost like pulling teeth when I ask questions because these ladies do no seem too thrilled that I ask or just seem in a bad mood. I've only had one nice lady do my teeth tightening. I am very happy I chose this place because of how fast they accommodated the first time however the people working are not as welcoming as I'd hope for.

I went to this office and did not like them at all. I was told on two occasions that they would call me back and they never did. They also did not want to do any work on me that was covered by insurance. I felt insulted by them and would not recommend them to anyone. Don't go here.

Very Awful !!!!!! Terrible service !!!!! They want to do work that IS NOT covered by your insurance,and REFUSE to do any work that is covered by insurance,giving FALSE information is standard practice for these Quacks !!!!!!

It was the worst Dentist office I have ever been to! I had to wait 2 hours 10 minutes to see the dentist and I was very disappointed with all!! The front desk was rude and told me to be “patient”. Everybody except Diego was rude!
