I scheduled appointments for all three of my children. At the time of scheduling, the office collected my insurance information and told me they would call back to confirm whether our insurance was in network before finalizing the appointments. Shortly after, I received a call confirming that our insurance was in network, and an appointment was scheduled for the following day. We arrived 15 minutes early and sat in a very crowded waiting room. After being called up, the receptionist informed me that the doctor we were scheduled with was not in the office that day and that the only other available doctor was not in our insurance network. At that point, I was encouraged to pay out of pocket for the visit. Insurance coverage was confirmed in advance, yet upon arrival we were told the provider was unavailable and pressured to self pay placing us in an unfair position after already committing to the scheduled time and arriving as instructed.

My daughter had a pain in her gum i called that day because she was crying in pain , when i got there and he checked her , he first thing he said was is she sick ? Because she coughed i said “ yes “ he then proceeded to make a fuchi face and said first thing you had to do is take her to her doctor , i then said i did two days ago and the doctor swap her for flu , rsv and she is negative for that . Then he asked why didn’t I give her pain medicine for her teeth being in pain I then said “ that’s why I called immediately today when she started to feel pain “ . And I want to also say that was a day before thanksgiving they are close on thanksgiving so I rushed to make an appointment which they got pay for to check on her because her health is always a priority for me . I will not be back they are always in a hurry and always late to check on patients . Also one of my daughters teeth were loose and the dentist never took it out so it got hard again and another teeth is growing behind that one . Thankfully I found another dentist that was able to help us with that .

I have been bringing my daughter here for a while now and it’s usually always a good speedy experience! The staff is nice and friendly Edit: came for routine check up Lobby was super packed so much so there was no seats for me, my kids two other ladies and their children. I like this place but please stop over booking patients so much that there’s no seating available. Wait times like this aren’t even reasonable either. The reason for the wait time has to do with the fact that you were in on a day when we have dentistry being performed under GA with our specialists. Even on these days when our wait times are longer, they are half as long as those at a comparable surgical center - roughly half the normal wait time. I also discussed what happened that day with the "one girl" you mentioned speaking to. We have been reaching out to you since the beginning of the month for some required and vital information, which you still have not provided us and we have a very hard time reaching you. This is the reason why you are upset, unfortunately. If you'd like to call the office and ask for Mike, he would be more than glad to talk with you. However, we do really work hard to take care of all the kids in our community and wish you didn't feel the way you do.

Besides having dental work done on my son and dropping something in his mouth, I chose to give this place a second chance. I have been here twice with my kids afterwards and it’s like it’s gotten slower in service, makes me want to switch them once and for all. Been waiting over an hour for a scheduled appointment, crazy. Don’t recommend. To top it off people very unprofessional don’t even let you go to the back with your child and it’s known EVERY dentist place should allow parents in the back when doing any type of dental work.. it’s a right not a privilege. The wait is endless at this place. They give you an appointment time and then make you wait another hour and a half. Another bad thing is that they take small children alone for cleanings or X-rays, which isn't right because all children should be accompanied by a family member, and we should always be present for any procedure they perform on the little ones. Just like they make you sign a consent form, we should be present. So, if you're distrustful like me, I don't recommend this place if you take your young children!

I’ve been taking my daughter here since she was 6 months old. The last two visits I’ve given nasty looks and bad customer service from the floor manager. Their bad organization or way of running their establishment is not the patients fault. There’s not way I’m gonna let my 3 year old go in with the floor manager to take X-rays without me when there’s a bunch of people and kids inside but I get told to stay in the waiting room definitely switching dentist.

Came here for an emergency for my youngest and ever since I’ve Been coming here with all four of my children. My kids have never complained from any dental work. The staff is friendly. They always have events Inside an outside the office. Kids receive pull string backpacks with goodies after their visit. If it’s packed, they do have game consoles and movie theater area for kids. The only thing I don’t agree with is that they don’t allow parents in the area where they take the kids to get their teeth done. There should also be cameras back there.

BEWARE!!! I decided to write this review so perhaps I could help save someone or hopefully quit a few out there from a dishonest dentist. My self and 2 kids visited this location in November because of the good reviews. The staff were ok. I waited for over a hour just to get a routine cleaning for myself and kids. They did the x-rays only to find out they didn't do the regular routine x-ray. They did the full x-rays which my insurance only covers that every 3 years. They didn't check with me or make me aware of this. I only found out a few weeks after when my insurance company sent me the summary. As we completed our x-rays, Dr. Khan came in and told us our x-rays looked great, but she needs to check in our mouths to see if she finds anything. She did this with my son first, saying everything looks great then checked in his mouth, and said she saw 4 cavities. She did the same with my daughter and myself, saying the exact same thing. What a coincidence that all of us had 4 cavities each, and the x-ray looked great that made me super suspicious. She is the only dentist I've ever met that goes just by her “naked” eyes. I'm super particular about my kids dental hygiene and myself, we do our routine cleaning twice a year, floss and have oral-b chargerable electric toothbrushes. Anyhow as the dental assistant walked us to the receptionist he began to tell me about doing the dental treatment for myself. I told him I didn't come for that I came for a routine cleaning and I need a second opinion on that treatment. He said she would not do my teeth cleaning unless I agree to the dental treatment first. I've never in my entire 25 plus years of visiting a dental office have heard of this before. So I was being pushed to perform a dental procedure and if I refuse they won't do my cleaning?! Of course I refuse and asked for a copy of the x-rays, the lady at the front desk asked why I wanted a copy of the x-ray (with attitude) and said its $25 for a copy (I didn't take it) I was so frustrated and disgusted I quickly left as soon as my kids came out. They didn't even give me a dental treatment plan like they are suppose to when I saw the receptionist at the back before going to the front to wait for my kids. Everything was sketchy about this office. The office had quite a few clients waiting. I strongly believe its just a numbers game $$$ they don't care anything about your dental health. They did my kids cleaning which they took less than 10 minutes. There is no way a proper cleaning can be performed in such a short time. Myself and kids went to Dr. Nugent office a few weeks ago (January) for a second opinion and a proper teeth cleaning. By the way if you’re looking for a first class experience dental office that truly cares about your dental health, this the place to go. They did x-rays myself and daughter we had No cavities. My son had only 1 cavity it was to the very back the upper tooth. When they did the cleaning for my kids the office confirmed that a proper cleaning was definitely not done. Also when Dr. Nugent office called and asked for a copy of the x-ray they told them I would have to pay $15, even that they wasn't honest about. How could Dr. Khan be so dishonest to say we have cavities knowing fully well it's a lie. Its bad enough your doing this to me, but my innocent young kids. These tooths isn't going to just fall out, these are permanent tooths something that will affect them/me for the rest of our lives, Very disgraceful….

This place all it care about is just charge the Medicaid and they don’t really do what it’s done but they do charge like they did all types just so they can get pay and they sure give out free cards for patients but it’s just $10 dollars and they don’t give them to you if you don’t go exactly the year later so make sure you ask if your year already pass by so you can collect your cards for your kids and always be there when they doing a procedure to your kids cause it’s painful of course if you feel you kid it’s still little and they don’t let you be and there so they don’t do nothing just a simple brush and they still go and charge Medicaid for it but Medicaid said they on the look because most dentist be doing that so I don’t consider this dental five star so I’m moving back to my old one thanks and hope you choose wisely thinking about your kids

It was my second time at Coral Dental and the first with my son. On Saturday, I took my children for their checkup. They told me that one of my children only needed a sealant. I said okay. They gave me the paperwork to confirm and then they took my son. They don't let you in with them, but you need them to do the treatment. I said okay. After a while, a young lady comes out and tells me that my son needs a filling. I told her, "But they didn't tell me that here. Besides, it didn't show up in the x-rays." Well, she explained to me that once we were inside, the dentist discovered that he needed it and they asked me to sign a consent form to put gas on him to keep him calm. I told them that I wouldn't sign to put the gas on him since it was only a molar and my son is very calm. At that moment, she tells me that they are already doing the treatment and they put the gas on him without my consent. Of course, I got angry, and a young lady still tells me that the next time I go to the dentist, I should specify that I don't want them to put gas on him. It's your duty to let the parents in to see what they're doing inside with our children, since from what I see, you do whatever you want.
We want to apologize. That is not a normal experience for our dental team. We appreciate the feedback as this allows us to grow. Thank you

I am new to the area but decided to give this one a try. My daughter was terrified and uncontrollably crying when we entered but it all stopped once the warmth pretty face of a lady named Mercedes eased her off with conversation. Then 3 more ladies gained her trust throughout the whole visit where she now wants to go back for no reason! We will have to due to her treatment plan but would definitely recommend this place not just because of the warm staff but the cleanliness as well. Horrible experience I just had today. Sad for me to write this review because Maribel the manager IS a sweet person, BUT today I had my appointment, on a Saturday, because I work 40 hrs a week I do not have the luxury to play with my time and when I arrive, I am told that I can not be seen today for my appointment because I did not call to confirm. Due to the Covid-19 situation, being an essential worker, I understand different protocols that some businesses set up, but I also understand I must inform my customers of these protocols so that they are prepared. Never was I told you must call to confirm or we will not see you. Don't play with my time because I do not play with yours, I was even early to my appointment and still was not seen. I will move to another dental office where they are serious about their business.

I used to love this place!! I have been coming here since my youngest was 6 months old, she’s six now! We where scheduled to be here at 3 we get here 10- 15 min early. The doors are locked! They have us wait outside until someone comes open the door then send us back to our car!! That’s not what upset me, I drive all the way from beltway 8 and s post oak!!!! You just wasted my time and my gas I should have been working and all because you want to charge Medicaid!! Then they want to charge me $25 per child to get my daughters charts out of their hands! So I don’t have a 2020 vehicle my AC is not properly working I have the air hitting me in the face and my 12-year-old has the air hitting her in the face my six-year-old in the back it’s barely getting any air so when we get there after we stand outside in the heat they check our temperatures. Mine was at 97.9 my 12-year-old was at 99.7 and my six-year-old was at 100.0. Yea we had to turn back around. I understand they are trying to stay safe but during business hours doors should remain unlocked!! When they called me they told me you and your 12-year-old need to bring their masks your six-year-old is fine we all get there with masks in our face with this heat and they still told us turn back around.
We are all trying to adjust to the new CDC and ADA guidelines since we have re-opened after the stay at home order from COVID-19. I will contact you so we can personally try to make this up to you. We would love to still help your family in the future.

Came in to get my tooth extracted, from the minute I walked in through the door they were all very friendly. They explained everything so that I understood what exactly they were gonna do to me. Forget driving over 45 mins to hope for a great experience. The waited after the xrays and exam to inform me that after being there for 2 hrs my kids could not get cleanings because the insurance portal was down. I have worked in dental and they should have verified before especially if a Saturday appt due to insurance companies not open Saturdays. But I wish they would have been more considerate and inform me of it since the beginning instead of til the end . Definitely not making that drive again .

Friendly, respectful staff, the dentist is gentle and quick even with my squirmy mean lil daughter screamin at him for tryna gently scrub her lil teeth w the soft tooth brush. (She is almost 2 years old) the place is clean and the prices are affordable enough i just pay out of pocket for myself and my two kids. Very clean facilities with good stuff to keep the kids entertained. Also its super awesome that they do text reminders and confirmations and actual phone call confirmations for appointments. I will most definitely keep going here and bringing my kids here for their dental needs! Oh and the little goodie bags they give the kids after their visits are awesome too! My kids love their new little tooth brushes and toys they get.

Would definitely recommend this place.. My daughter was nervous changing dentistry’s but she left with a brighter smile and looks forward to her next appointment. Staff was nice and professional. I wasn’t able to be with my daughter when she had her cleaning done but overall friendly environment.

Today’s experience at Coral dental was the worst experience I’ve ever had! We waited for over 2 hours and my boys only received the exam and X-ray. At the 2 1/2 hour mark, I left without them getting their cleanings or treatments ordered by the dentist. It makes absolutely no sense to ever visit a dental office and be expected to wait all day for service. When I mentioned the extremely long wait time, all employees responded, “its a Saturday mom” as if that makes it ok. No one apologized for the wait and they appeared to care less about how long the wait was. I left with intentions of finding a new dental office, but because they did the exam and xrays, I will go back for the prescribed treatments and cleanings for my boys. After those services are rendered, Coral dental will no longer be the place where my kids visit for their dental needs! The wait was ridiculous and the attitudes of the employees in the front desk area were just as pathetic! Due to my experience today, Coral Dental doesn’t even deserve 1 star! Extremely poor service!

Dr Gill is amazing. My 7 year old is terrified and has some anxiety. Going in we were praying to just do a couple of teeth since she had several cavities. Dr Gill came out and was able to complete 9 teeth. Not only that but Sophia came out and had a smile on her face. I definitely recommend Dr Gill. I brought my other two kids in for cleanings and my 4 year old wasn’t so happy to check his teeth. She sang the ABC song for him to keep him calm. My 5 yr old daughter came in needing One tooth pulled and one cavity filled. They were very nice and respectful, explained everything that would be done and cost before moving forward. They took great care of my daughter, she was so great and didn’t cry or anything during her whole procedure. She also got a goodie bag to bring home with a new toothbrush and some little toys to make her experience even better! Also their office is amazing! Total underwater theme and Disney movies playing back to back on multiple screens!

The dentist came into the room with an attitude, before even looking at me or my child and plopped down on his chair. I was on an important call waiting for the dentist to do his job with my daughter, he looked in her mouth and then told me he would be right back 15 mins later I was asking where did he go it's been a long time and he left to treat another patient. How rude and what the hell is that!?! Do your job!!! Also why didn't y'all give me an excuse for school... this is a terrible place.

I did find it strange that there was more work that needed to be done than originally agreed upon.... and that was for both of my kids. We were there around year ago for my four-year-old son. He had work done and his front teeth were capped white. After about year later the white is completely chipping away on every tooth they did. They also did more work than originally agreed. They said that there was additional work needed once they started the procedure. We spent over 3k out of pocket. You would think the work would have stuck. The dentist, assistants and office personal were very nice, however. Also, my concern is that work was done that wasn't needed. They were our 3rd opinion and came recommended from a friend that works in the industry.

My boys love going to the dentist here, they don't freak out. They also have the most amazing goodie bags I've ever seen. Actually, I've never seen or heard of any dentist or doctor's office who gives these types of goodies. We moved to League City, and we still make the drive because it's just that great here. First, they told us my child needed eight crowns, that that was the only option. After reviewing the anesthesia contraindications, my wife decided against the procedure. The manager got upset and told my wife, "If you want, we can do fillings." She had just told us the only option was crowns. My wife said she would think about it, and the manager told her to go find another dentist. The service was terrible. On top of that, she wrote on the form we had to bring to kindergarten that the child had poor oral hygiene and bad behavior. The dentist had just told us, "Good job, your child has very good hygiene."

The staff is nice. Some are sarcastic but overall it's good. I dislike that they don't let you go in with your kids. This welcomes mistakes not caught by other staff. I also dislike that they talk you into using laughing gas even if it's not needed. They do it just so they won't struggle with the kids. Because "they move too much." My son actually does well at the dentist he has had dental work done before. I let them know he would do fine without the laughing gas. They said "well just in case." This was my 1st time here and maybe the last. Depending on my son's feedback. I'm typing this as I'm nervously waiting on my son to get out of the working area. No one has given me any updates on him; if he's almost done or if he's reacting well or not. Update: so my son just came out and everything went well thank goodness. He has no complaints. So since he says they treated him well, we will be returning.

Mmm no, I went today, January 18, 2017. I didn't like it at all. Everything was going very well, but as soon as they told me that my 4-year-old son had to go in alone, I said no, my husband or I have to go in. They told me there wasn't much space, that there were computers, and I said no, we all have to go, at least one of us, and it doesn't matter if we're standing in a corner, but because my son is a minor, I don't give permission for him to go in alone. They told me it was clinic policy, and I said okay, then no. And they wouldn't attend to me anymore. How awful! But I say, there's nothing to hide, right? The one who has nothing to hide has nothing to fear, I say. I imagine they treat the children badly if they don't allow us parents to be there. It makes you think... In my opinion, they don't even deserve one star.

And i know for a fact it happened there.. Someone was negligent whether it was dentist or his assistant..
