I had a great experience at Advanced Dental Arts. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. Gloria, the hygienist, was outstanding—extremely attentive and thorough in addressing all my concerns. She explained everything clearly, which put me at ease. I initially went in for a consultation about LANAP, but after a thorough evaluation, I was told I didn’t need the procedure, which was a relief. I was also worried about gum recession, but the doctor took the time to explain everything in detail, making sure I understood my situation and next steps. Overall, the team was professional, honest, and very knowledgeable. I’m glad I chose them and would definitely recommend them to others.

I've been coming to Advanced Dental Arts for nearly 10 years and there's no-one better. I've worked with several dentists, most recently Dr Gaspari who is detail-oriented and a perfectionist. Gloria is the reason I'm not afraid to go to the dentist - as someone with sensitive teeth, it can be an unpleasant experience, but she is an incredible, empathetic hygienist who I look forward to seeing every six months. i need to start this review by saying i hate hate hate dental work, but today i had the most positive experience i’ve ever had at the dentist. dr. gaspari did an amazing job on my first crown a few years ago, but due to grinding i had to get another crown put in today. dr. gaspari knows i’m usually nervous, and immediately he and his assistant gloria put me at ease. they turned on some music, started a casual conversation, and we were joking around while the novocain took effect. then once the drilling started dr. gaspari and gloria continued talking to me and checking on me throughout the procedure. this was crucial to curbing my anxiety and keeping me at ease. and the procedure was done before i knew any better! i love this practice. everyone is so kind and nice, and it’s easy to tell that they enjoy working together. between the care during a normal cleaning, a more serious procedure, or just booking your next appointment, it’s impossible to leave without a smile.

It’s rare to feel good after going to the dentist! I had a very pleasant first patient experience, from checking in to checking out. Gloria did an amazing job! Had some stains on composite resin I had done and she made them look brand new. She was so thorough about what to anticipate for the X-rays and the cleaning. When I met Dr. Bhatt she was equally as thoughtful and clear about the best dental plan to proceed with. Glad I could find a reliable dentist in the city!

The level of congenial and thorough personal care I receive from Advanced Dental Arts is top-notch across the spectrum, from the front desk staff, the assistants, the hygienists, and the dentists. Today I am writing about their hygienist Gloria, specifically. Gloria explains each move she makes during a deep cleaning, communicating concerns about pain levels (nonexistent for me) and clear advice for dental self-care. I discovered Advanced Dental Arts on ZocDoc by accident but I scheduled an appt since it was close to work. Needless to say, I’ve changed jobs and they have been my Dentist for 7yrs now. The team is awesome. Super friendly, puts you at ease during difficult cleanings, the facility is spotless and the decor is top notch. It’s not your typical dental practice and that’s what I love about it.

Such an amazing experience! They use some really great technology to clean up your teeth. Gloria really took the time to educate me on best practices and she really really cleans your teeth so they’re sparkling . Literally the first time someone convinced me to floss every day! Dr. Bhatt is also so kind and knowledgeable. If you’re thinking about it, book the appointment!

I have allowed my dental visits to lapse over the last few years, going seldomly vs. regularly. When my teeth were examined, the time away from the dental chair was evident by what needed to be corrected in my mouth. Too many cavities that needed fillings & gums that needed a deep cleaning. Dr. Bhatt is gentle while working on your gums/mouth area, so much so, that I was able to have one deep cleaning at the same time as fillings. My hygienist Gloria was wonderful! Even though the deep cleaning can be uncomfortable with moments of pain that is bearable, Gloria in one full deep cleaning session was able to get me back on track with cleanings every 6 months after my first post checkup (4 months after my deep cleaning). She cleaned my teeth “perfectly” and the evidence is in both the way she cleaned and cared for my teeth and gums and encouraged me to floss more. I highly recommend Dr. Bhatt’s office - her staff are very easy and pleasant to work with. They are always happy to explain something to you that you may feel unsure about - billing, procedures, etc. if you need a deep cleaning or cleaning period, ask for Gloria! You won’t regret it. It also helps that everyone I’ve come in contact with at this office smiles and greets you. Thanks Dr. Bhatt! Thanks Gloria!

I’ve never liked the dentist until a colleague referred me here. From the moment you walk in, everyone is attentive and friendly. When I express a concern, they don’t ignore me, they take it seriously. And the dental work is some of the best I’ve had. I’m a fan!

By far the best health care experience I've ever had! The office is lovely and easy to get to. The staff was very kind and helpful. And Dr. Gaspari the absolute best! The man is magic - he sees every little issue and fixes it asap and with a lot of care. What I most appreciate is a personal follow up - he goes out of his way to honestly make sure you're happy. And if you're not, the office handles everything for you until the job is done. Can't say enough good things about these guys!

Got referred here by some colleagues, and it was one of the best dentist appointments I’ve ever had! They have the latest technology to give comprehensive scans to make a 3D model for your teeth, which helps the dentist provide detailed walkthroughs on the health of your teeth. Gloria and Dr Bhat was very knowledgeable and helped provide detailed feedback on how I should change brushing technique to address some of the issues they noticed. Spectacular dental office! I’ve been to a lot of dentist and really nowhere compares. Reception is on point - they are super friendly and do a great job walking you through financing options. The hygienists are very knowledgeable and walk you though ways that you can improve daily hygiene (there is always room for improvement). The staff and dental assistants all do an exceptional job communicating. I’m never wondering what’s going on when i’m in the office. The dentists and staff work to develop manageable treatment plans with you. They help you understand treatment priorities and timelines and as a patient always I feel heard when discussing concerns with the dentists and staff. Beyond that, the dentists are awesome and do phenomenal work. Every time I visit I leave the office with a comprehensive understanding of my dental needs. Everyone in the office is so helpful and kind. I really don’t trust anyone else to address my dental health.

I had a very involved surgical removal of my wisdom tooth (fully impacted with a huge cyst) but Dr. Isabelle DeMatteis and Dr. Gloria Vasquez were very professional and caring. They explained everything in detail and were very very patient as they kept adding and waited for the anesthesia to fully kick in. (I had a very different/painful experience at another office where they rushed through the process before the area was fully numbed). Surgery and cleaning were done seamlessly. Postoperative treatment was thoroughly explained. I also do appreciate that they were mindful of my depression/anxiety and my finances/insurance situation -- compared to other dentists who were less compassionate or considerate and made me feel overly guilty for not doing things I couldn't afford mentally or financially... Thank you both! -- and I hope you read this -- I do really highly recommend ADA if you're done with looking for a permanent dentist.

Per usual, everyone was extremely helpful from check in to check out. Dr. Bergman answered questions about lower denture possibilities and about the up- coming surgery. Patience is his motto. The surgery will take place in a week. Professionally Dr. Bergman and staff are excellent. The only thing lack is a lollipop. An item of the past.

Dr. Anthony Gaspari and Dr. Gloria Vasquez are so thorough and professional. Sometimes even anticipating my needs!

Absurdity at its finest! I went to this practice at the recommendation of my fiancée who has been a patient of Dr. Bertman for years. I needed my first cavity at 56 YO and asked how much the service would be, which I was quoted an amount to include what the practice would be getting from my insurance company. The quoted amount was not honored. After the service, I paid in full but no later than a few weeks later, I get a bill for 3X what I was quoted and paid. Trying to communicate that "you can't charge patients because your employees have made a mistake quoting for a service" has fell on deaf ears. If the insurance company did not pay what YOU expected, that is not your patient's issue. Clear communication to a patient that there COULD be additional fees would be courteous BUT of course that never happened. Completely unacceptable!! No different than going to the auto-repair shop, get a quote for a repair and then when you pick up the car it is much much more than anticipated. What is so sad is Dr. Bhatt and Gloria provided an amazing experience. Beware of these unethical behaviors. Shame on you Advanced Dental Arts.

I moved neighborhoods recently so I had to switch dentists and I was super happy with my visit here. My hygienist was very communicative and showed me and talked me through all of my x-rays, which I haven’t experienced at prior dentists. She and the doctor were very friendly and thorough. I also love that the practice is multidisciplinary - I’ve been able to have everything from cosmetic work to oral surgery in one location, all with practitioners that have delivered what I feel to be extremely high quality care. Dental work always gives me some anxiety and the staff has always taken a patient and caring approach, something I really appreciate as someone who seems to be constantly riddled with dental challenges. I love the entire staff but need to give a special shout out to Dr. Gaspari who went the extra mile for me recently. So far, so great!! This was my husband and I’s first visit to Advanced Dental Arts. We have been looking for a new dentist since we moved to New York, and I think we found the one! Best dentist experience I’ve ever had! I accidentally made an appointment for a consultation instead of a cleaning but when I arrived the office was still able to fit me in for a full cleaning. They were incredibly on time and reception was very welcoming. My hygienist Gloria was incredibly gentle and kind, explaining each step of the cleaning as she went. She took the time to answer all of my questions in detail and explained to me my options for mouth guards moving forward. Additionally, instead of using the scraping tool to remove plaque (my least favorite part of every appointment), she used a waterpik, which was significantly less unpleasant. I did not have to wait for Dr. Berman long at all and, once he arrived, he was equally as friendly and knowledgeable. I will certainly be returning to Advanced Dental Arts and strongly recommend it to all New Yorkers with dental needs.

Dr. Bertman and his team are warm, kind, professional, knowledgeable, accommodating and detail oriented. Medicine has sadly become so impersonal and rushed but not in this office!! I am honestly sad that I have to wait 6 month for my next visit. Thank you for the amazing care!!

I’ve been with this dentist for all 10 years I’ve lived in NYC because they are excellent! The offices are very clean, they use the latest technology, everyone who works there is friendly, and they take time to show you photos of your teeth and x-rays so you can understand their advice and treatments. Gloria was my hygienist at my most recent visit and she performed a super-thorough cleaning and gave great advice for how to avoid plaque buildup between visits.

There’s some great people working here… very warm and inviting. Besides my normal cleanings, I did invisalign, got a veneer, and whitened my teeth here… I’m really happy with my smile, and so im using it a lot more ;)

If you want to pay for services you don’t receive this is the place for you. My first visit to Dental Arts, as a new patient, I received a cleaning, a full set of x-rays, and a thorough exam by one of the dentists. I was charged $450. Today six months later I went for a routine cleaning and was given an “exam” by another dentist which lasted about five minutes. There were no X-rays done. I was charged the same $450! Absolutely inexcusable. When I protested I was told they charge the same with or without x-rays. This makes no sense whatsoever and is a ridiculous amount of money to spend on a cleaning.

I am a big baby when it comes to going to the dentist. I had to get a tooth extraction done and I didn't know where to go till my company that I work for recommended Advanced. Well my experience was amazing today. One the best experiences you can have with getting your tooth pulled out. Dr. Dematteis was knowledgeable about the process. She explained everything to me and also kept asking me if I was in any pain while she was taking my tooth out. With 20 minutes, she had it out and felt no pain at all. She rocked!!! I would recommend her to everyone. The Advanced front office right down to the technicians were polite and comforting. The whole vibe at this place is awesome. I have been going to Advanced Dental Arts for a few years but have most recently been seeing Dr. Gaspari. I can’t recommend him and the rest of the staff enough! They are all very friendly and make sure you are comfortable every step of the way. I really appreciated Dr. Gaspari making sure I understood exactly what was happening and even took pictures during a procedure to show me what was going on. This was my first time getting more than a filling (I needed a crown) and the experience was so much better than I had anticipated. I just received my permanent crown and it looks fantastic. During my procedure, I swear the dental assistant was a mind reader, ensuring to go as far as applying Vaseline to my chapped lips when I needed it. Highly recommend Dr. Gaspari and this office!

I hate going to the dentist! Yes, I have an extreme sweet tooth and didn’t take flossing serious for decades, that’s on me. But as soon as I lay back in that chair, my body tenses because I know it’s going to hurt. A lot. So when I got this cavity drilled, and was told it was finished, I literally jumped up and thanked almost everyone in the place, saying this was the first time in my life there was no pain. Seriously, I didn’t think it was even possible! The staff was pleased, and also a bit amused by me I’m think, and asked me to write a review. Of course, so here it is. It didn’t hurt. Not. One. Bit! Even the novocaine shot was fine. I am truly grateful not to get stressed about dentist visits in the future.

I have been a patient of Advanced Dental Arts for about ten years now, and I have never been disappointed. The team is helpful and friendly, and the offices are beautiful. Over the years I have been seen by several Dentists, and most recently, had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Monica Bebawy. Her bedside manner, investment in my wellbeing, and attentiveness to my concerns were second to none. I don't love going to the Dentist (who does), but my experience at Advanced Dental Arts has been great.

Needed to have some wisdom teeth removed. They walked me through their atypical procedure for billing insurance but told me my service would be covered nonetheless. Instead, almost nothing was covered and I was stuck with a bill for $1600 with no remorse from their billing department. It wasn't even complex. 2 teeth and they didn't put me under. Another dentist quoted me $400 for the same thing. Also, they said the premium was because they work with a dental surgeon who is much more experienced and professional. Instead, I got someone who 1. Asked me which teeth I wanted extracted??? so scary that this wasn't marked beforehand and I was scared the whole time he was going to pull the wrong teeth and 2. works 1 day every 2 weeks so when it inevitably got infected, I had to wait 2 weeks to come back in for a check up. Never again!!

Horrible office, focused only on how to extract money out of patients, offered LAPID which is expensive surgery to me when it was clear that it won't work, when examining the results of the surgery the dentist insisted that the surgery was indeed somehow successful plus offered additional expensive services to add on. I wasted my time, money and endured unnecessary pain. I'm considering legal actions against this office. STAY AWAY. This office reminds me of used cars sales people in 80th - don't waste your money and time.

I love this place. I’ve been in NYC for 14 years and I’ve tried a set of of different practices, but having been at Advanced Dental Arts for the past 3 years I can say I’ve found the best place for me. The receptionist staff, the hygienists, all the way to Dr. Bertman are exceptionally caring for their patients and good at what they do. I’m a check up every 6 months sorta patient, nothing fancy, but looking for good dental care. The office runs on time, this makes scheduling and coming to appointments easy. I see the same hygienist and dentist each time, this makes the continuity of care great. And I never feel like I’m being over sold or under valued. I pay out of pocket and find the rates to be reasonable but the care to be phenomenal. Totally recommend!

I've been getting my dental care at Advanced Dental Arts since around 2016. I enjoy the dental cleanings so much that I schedule them every 3 or 4 months with Tatyana (she is my go-to hygienist). I also had my dental implant done here several years ago because I trust the team. The office is very conveniently located. It is spacious and beautiful. The staff is welcoming and the environment is vibrant, but calming at the same time. I always schedule way ahead of time so I never have any scheduling issues. I just appreciate everyone here for their good work.

I had been a client of the clinic since 2017, having been satisfied with the service they provided. Back then, I had porcelain veneers that kept coming off, over a few visits I spent a cumulative amount of $9000 to stick them back on. In 2018, I changed said veneers composite ones which hadn't been an issue from 2018-2021. However, after my experience yesterday, I will NEVER go back to this dental clinic. Doctor Monica Bebawy repaired one of my composite veneers back in late April 2021 and did one from scratch. When she finished the job, I asked her if anything happened to them if she would repair them at no cost, to which she replied that said veneers that she did would be guaranteed for life. I agreed to this and payed $3331. Fast forward to mid June, the veneer fully broke off so I booked my appointment for her to repair the veneer that she did. To my surprise, Doctor Bebawy didn't stick to her word. She brought out a bill for the cold amount of $2000. After explaining to her the conversation we had when she originally did the veneers, all she did was deny it and eventually walked out to go and work on another client instead of being a concerned doctor to her patient. Go to this clinic if you wish to get robbed by doctors who don't stick to their word! When I mentioned to the blonde lady in the front named Melissa Clinton that my father would be calling them to ask for an explanation, she asked for the level of English that he spoke being that my family is from Spain and Spanish is our native language. I have never felt more discriminated as when she asked this question. My family all speaks fluent English. They all made me feel bad for my origin and assumed that we wouldn't speak fluent English. Overall the worst experience where everyone belittles you.

The team is amazing, not just the Dentists and hygienists, but from front office to back office. Dr Gaspari, Gloria and the rest are skilled, careful, kind. The endodontist Dr Kim was excellent. My highest praise.

Dr. Bertman and his team have taken great care of me, and my many dental issues over the past couple of years. I was in for several procedures during the pandemic and felt very safe and comfortable with their precautions in addition to getting top notch work. And everyone is very nice!

1. Extremely expensive Expect to PAY EVERYTHING UPFRONT even if you're IN NETWORK and chase them for the insurance reimbursement check afterwards. Also 3% TRANSACTION FEE if you were to use a debit/credit card. Oral surgeon is out-of-network for Delta PPO even though it's in-network for this dental office, they didn't inform me (I thought I was still in-network). 3D CT scan cost $250 for me after insurance when Chatham Square Dental charged nothing after insurance. Surgical extraction of would have cost me over $2k after insurance here but only cost $127 at Chatham Square Dental. So glad I did my research and went to Chatham Square Dental to get my extraction done. Not a complicated procedure but would have cost a lot more here. So, DO YOUR RESEARCH! Also, their oral surgeon only comes once a month or on short notice if she happens to be in the neighborhood -- so you'd be paying for literally nothing better. 2. Long wait even if you called ahead of time/ have an appointment First time for CT scan, I had to wait nearly an hour even after making an appointment. Second time to pick up insurance check and I had to wait for over 30min even though I called ahead time to make sure I wouldn't have to wait. Just incapable and inconsiderate staff. Michelle (one of the receptionists) seems nice and tries to help but the young man is not helpful at all. He literally said to me on the phone "what do you expect me to do right now" when I called to check if the check can be ready when I come to pick it up... 3. Rude receptionist (esp. the young man) I was frustrated waiting and waiting for my check so I went up to check with them. They became defensive and gave me some excuse that the deposit just came in so they needed time to sort things through. Again, that's why I called ahead of time. I don't think they respected my time. I just expected them to provide way better service for how much they charge. My recommendation: DO YOUR RESEARCH before you go. Expect to BUDGET if you end up going here cos whatever procedure you do WILL COST YOU A FORTUNE

The employees are nice, but the Dentists messed up the crown on my root canal. It’s come off twice in the past few months. When I went to get it back on, they nonchalantly told me there was nothing they could do because my tooth had been shaven too small, and the only solution was another, very expensive, surgery. This is a major inconvenience to me, and to my parents that helped me pay for this procedure, and now they’re being told they may have to pay for another one. We cannot afford to keep having this tooth fixed in different ways that cost thousands of dollars. I would not recommend this practice to anyone.

Dr. Todd Bertman and his team have been amazing. I've been struggling with the side effects of chemotherapy for over a year and one of the most painful/distracting issues I've dealt with is mouth sores. These sores crop up as a result of my weakened immune system and can last quite a number of days. When I reached out to Advanced Dental Arts about possibly using lasers on these sores—Dr. Bertman was quick to fit me into his schedule and even helped with a reasonable co-pay since it didn't seem like my insurance would cover the procedure. I now go and see him when mouth sores crop up—the laser helps kill bacteria within the sore, dries the sore, and even cauterizes the sore. All of this helps reduce pain almost immediately and aids in the mouth ulcers healing faster. I've been told that lasers can help reduce the amount and how bad new sores will be if you catch them before they form. All-in-all the empathetic and skillful care provided at Advanced Dental Arts has helped give me more "good days" in-between chemotherapy sessions to go out and live life without painful mouth sores—which is wonderful!

I went to this office and met the front desk staff, as well as the doctor. He assured me he would be able to help me w linap surgery followed by cosmetic dentistry. I truly left feeling great and very optimistic. After receiving an estimate for my surgery I contacted Melissa C to make an appt. and never heard from them again after many, many calls and emails. This was to be an out of pocket expense, not covered by insurance and I was prepared financially pay for it. But this office ghosted me without so much as an explanation. Go somewhere else. Being non responsive in the pre surgery could be a precursor for how you be treated once you given them a ton a money.

Clean, professional, high-quality service as usual!! Coming back for cosmetic procedures too! No matter who works on me I am always happy. I send many people and they too are always happy. I have had LANAP done and the laser LANAP process is easy and successful!

Beatrice did a wonderful job of cleaning and polishing my teeth today. After many months of lockdown it is a real gift.

Stay away. This place has drill-happy dentists who insist they need to fill immediately every little decay they spot. I was their patient for almost two years. The last time I went they wanted to fill two teeth which I have so far shown to two other dentists who agreed they did not in fact need to be filled at all. Makes me question whether I actually needed the two fillings I allowed them to do previously. Oh and, they will over-charge your insurance and eat up your quota whenever they think they can get away with it.

I was super nervous about finding a new dentist. I just moved to NYC and was looking for someone new, I also conveniently cracked my tooth right when I moved! I absolutely despise going to the dentist, as everyone does but I strongly, strongly despise it. Dr. Bertman and his dental assistant Gloria both made me feel SO comfortable. They both explained everything step by step which was very comforting. From the receptionist through the entire experience there was great energy and when you’re nervous that’s incredibly helpful. Absolutely LOVE This place. Came with a very complex issue for my front upper teeth - 4 of them! Was treated by Dr. Radwan and Gloria for about 5months. It involved a complicated matter with a 6 unit bridge that had to be Absolutely Perfect. Gloria was Instrumental in the entire process! She helped suggest the color, size, proportions, adjust and recommend the small details that made the final outcome Perfect!! She has an Incredible Eye which is Key for crowns/veneers and any other lab done work. Cant say enough good things about Dr Radwan who went above and beyond to make sure im happy. His Advanced knowledge of complex gum, extraction, gum regrowth, bone regrowth technique Saved my mouth. Thank you guys!!!

Beatriz at Advanced Dental Arts NYC is an Amazing Dental Hygienist! She is thorough, Careful and very Knowledgeable on dental hygiene. Most of all, she is a pleasant person to be around, Beatriz makes you feel very comfortable and if you entered the dentist office with any anxiety, her natural calming personality will dissolve all your fears! Super clean, super fast and super nice staff. I’ve been going here for about 4 years now and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Dr. Kakade and team are wonderful.

I reached out to Advanced Dental after a few delinquent years in my dental visits, and was immediately struck by how easy it was to make an appointment via their instant messenger on the website. After my initial exam and cleaning, Dr. Kakade made my somewhat terrifying diagnoses (multiple cavities that required a root canal and a crown) seem manageable and part of a process toward better oral health. Their rates seem commensurate with other NYC dentists, and they took my insurance. They clearly laid out my out-of-pocket expenses in a printed document. And while I wouldn’t recommend having a root canal for fun, Dr. Kim is the endodontist you want removing the nerve ending in your decaying tooth. He’s an artist! Special shout out to Gloria, the hygienist who makes the drilling seem not scary, and always makes sure you don’t drown when the doctor rinses our your mouth.

Dr Kim, Dr Kakade and Gloria were great. They were very patient and nice. Dr Kim and Dr. Kakade answered all my questions. They explained the whole procedure. I tend to be very nervous at the dentist I had some bad experience before. But this time I felt no pain at all even the injections didn't hurt. Gloria was super nice and supportive. I'm really thankful :)

I hadn't visited a dentist for nine years when I came here for the first time, so I was a bit nervous going in. Dr. Kakade was outstanding, clear and reassuring in her communication, as well as friendly and pleasant to chat with. I ended up needing multiple fillings over two subsequent visits, and both Dr. Kakade and Sandra performed the procedures quickly and smoothly with practically no discomfort. I was impressed particularly by how efficiently they worked. Also want to give a shout out to the front desk staff, who identified an insurance issue I didn't realize I had and helped me navigate so as to minimize my out-of-pocket expense (I'm sorry I didn't get the name of the specific person who helped me, because she was great). I also take my five-year-old daughter here to see Dr. Zeylikman, who likewise handled some baby tooth extractions smoothly and painlessly. Overall, my experience here has been nothing but positive.

Had the best cavity filling experience yesterday with Dr. Kakade and oral hygienist Sandra as her assistant. I was blown away by their efficiency, communication, and coordination. It honestly felt like they have done this a million times together as a team. Each knew their role and each knew the others role. They knew what the other needed and executed swiftly. Hardly any words were exchanged between the two during the procedure . I must have been in and out of that chair in under 15 minutes. It’s the next day and I could hardly even tell which tooth had the filling. I’m seriously blown away....regarding the office in general, i’ve been going to advanced dental arts for about 10 years now and have yet to be unsatisfied with the dentists that have been assigned to me. On a side note, my wife has a difficult mouth and is a difficult patient. The dentist she had at the time acknowledged it would be a difficult cavity for her and called in Dr. Bertman for the procedure, as always he did an excellent job and made her as comfortable as possible. I Honestly have dozens of these types of positive stories with ADA… much kudos to the reception desk as well, they are on point with my scheduling, confirming my schedule days in advance, and looking over my dental plan to double check what my billing looks like for any given checkup/procedure.

I had a great consultation and teeth cleaning experience. They gave me a great run down of what should be done next for my teeth and how we should proceed to give me the perfect smile! The dental hygienist was great. Good personally, knowledgeable and professional

Great experience with Beatriz who helped explain everything like no other dentist has ever done with me. She recommended a deep cleaning and made me extremely comfortable and educated on what she was doing during the entire process.

ADA made going to the dentist an easy and comfortable experience. A warm greeting from Krysten who answered all my questions with a smile, and Dr Kim & Gloria provided excellent care with a smooth and pain free procedure. ADA take out any uneasiness out of the visit to the dentist.

Amazing, clean office and a great staff. My hygienist, Dina, got me in and out in 30 minutes so that I could make it to another appointment without being late. Also, my dentist, Dr. Kakade, who gave me my first filling, made sure I knew exactly what to expect and was so sweet throughout my entire visit.

I've been a patient at Advanced Dental Arts since 2015, and I highly recommend. All-in-all a great place with top-notch people - everything from the friendly & efficient reception to caring & highly skilled dentists and hygienists. This experience was upsetting. I just moved to NYC from San Francisco and needed a tooth cleaning. I was referred to Advanced Dental Arts by a colleague. I arrived for the cleaning (which is all I requested on the initial appointment call) and was escorted to the dental chair by the dental assistant. She was super friendly. She said she was going to take x-rays but I told her that I had just had my x-rays recently done in California and didn’t want more x-rays. She said no problem but requested that I have them sent by my California dentist as soon as possible after my visit. Then the dentist arrived to do an exam. I thought that was a bit usual since normally the exam occurs after a cleaning but I went with it. The dentist asked why I refused x-rays and I re-explained that I had just had x-rays done in California and I would have them sent shortly after my visit. She agreed, did the exam and left the room. 45 minutes after my arrival, the hygienist finally came in the room. She just looked at me and said, unless I get your x-rays on the spot she would not be doing a cleaning. I explained to her I’d had this conversation twice already and both times her colleagues had said it was OK to have them sent after my appointment. She questioned me on who said that… implying either that whoever did was not knowledgeable or perhaps I was making it up. Either way, not the best customer service move. My reaction was there was this very unusual obsession about getting x-rays. I asked her why she couldn’t do the cleaning without the x-rays and she went into some canned answer about “liability” issues. It’s so not a liability issue. It was all such a turn off. I walked out without getting my teeth cleaned. Since it is a requirement of this practice, as I learned the hard way, to have x-rays before doing a cleaning, they should have instructed me when I made my appointment and I would have arranged for them to be sent over prior to the appointment. The whole experience was so bizarre. I felt like common sense and good judgment were not used in this case. It’s unfortunate; they lost a client who if this situation had been handled better could have become a dedicated patient.

Let's just say, if I ever moved across the country I'd still fly back to NY every 6 months to get my teeth cared for at this place. The dentists, hygienists and receptionists care more about my well being than I do. This sounds crazy, but I literally leave this office a happier person every time.
