Continuing to ask for money when they are unaware of patient financial. Paid $2300 and some change not including insurance. Every time I go in it’s continuously how are we going to be paying for this, instead of I have your file here and you’re all paid up. This places is a money pit that they will try to bleed any amount they can from you at any cost. Including lying to save there end. They adjust things to back their statements in the computer which tells me that it isn’t their first time doing it but at the same time is terrible business and the attitude of most of the workers is just uptight and have to be right. So their initial interaction with patients come off as rude….because they definitely are. How hard is it to just admit when you are wrong? DONT GO TO THE ONE IN KILLEEN.

Had an appt for a cleaning at 10:45 today. I received a call on January 10th asking for a deposit for today's appt. I told them I would pay at the time of service and she said that would be no problem. I go in today and was told I have to wait until 1:00 for my appt because I didn't pre-pay the $25 deposit. Complete joke. This appt was made back in October. Thank you for pushing me to find a new dentist.

I will never step foot in this dentist for as long as I live in 2022 they gave me a root canal accompanied by a permanent crown typically a crown is supposed to last minimum five years. My crown came off after two years and when I went to another dentist for a consultation, they told me that I would need another root canal done because the previous root canal a.k.a. done by ace dental was done entirely poorly And following up a few days later as I’m getting my new root canal, the dentist tells me mid operation the tooth is now nonrestorable because of how bad the previous root canal was a.k.a. done by ace dental I will never ever in my life step foot in this dentist for as long as I live, and I suggest you guys don’t as well.

Was not aware that scheduling an appointment did not include a cleaning. So when sons 6 month check up came up now he is required to have a deep cleaning which could have been prevented if his regular cleaning would have been performed at the last check up. I was told has to ask for the procedure to be performed. Who has time to miss that much work or school, only so many doctors appointments slips can be turned before backlash for missing that much time. I should only have to schedule twice a year for dental unless I need extensive procedures like crowns ,braces, fillings or dentures. I feel like after what my son went through at his appointment (again no cleaning) fell like they did it to cause more of a dental issue in order to charge more than my dental plan covers. Being told that we have a payment plan did not fix what was caused by not providing the proper treatment to begin with.

These people will play in your face I waited for a gum procedure and was told meds were sent in so after I could pick them up and get home to rest only to go to the pharmacy and find out that wasn’t the case called the clinic waited to be told they were behind to wait a while then get meds and it’s only 600 ibuprofen and a expensive toothpaste my insurance will not cover so if you need anything extensive done I would look at other perio doctors cuz they definitely don’t care about your experience

I had an appointment for my 1 year old son and myself. The person who made the appointment for us knew I would not have child care when making this appointment and she made it sound like it was a good idea to get us in at the same time. We arrived mostly on time and still proceeded to wait 45+ minutes to be seen. I got my preliminary x rays and got our exams. Then waited another 30-45 minutes for them to come back for my cleaning. Said cleaning was the most painful thing I've ever experienced at a dental office, it was like i had the dentist from the movie "Little shop of horrors." Over all the trip was about 2.5 hours for a simple exam, and cleaning. I would NOT recommend. Furthermore the front of the office says "child play space" something that does not exist at any of the Killeen locations. And that was per one of the Dental techs ?

If your in pain, don't go here. If you have insurance, don't go here. Went on a Saturday, had insurance, but their insurance people to verify yours don't work Saturday. So if you can't pay they won't see you. Even after two painful extractions and a graft, your not going to get anything for pain except ibuprofen or Tylenol. My wife watched and the dentist twisted my tooth out. Not clean or painless. By the time they got to the stitches, the LOCAL, HAD WORN OFF. It hurt. So much pain later had to see another local dentist. They tried calling to get a prescription and no one would return the call. Even after several attempts. Not professional, not skilled and ACE must stand for ASK CASH from EVERYONE. DO NOT GO TO AN ACE DENTAL

Before my appointment I received 7 text message about my upcoming appointment. 4 phone calls about my upcoming appointments. I confirmed my appointment via text. Still I was receiving phone calls. I confirmed by phone call and gave them my insurance information. Still got another text about verification of insurance. Appointment was at 9:00 they made me go to the specialist side. I told them I was there for a routine check up. Then they had to find out if the other side had an opening. I was called back to the rooms. I waited 2 hrs for just a filling. Not going back!!

My wife was told that she needed to have a tooth extracted. Initially she was told that they would not do the extraction without ALSO doing a bone graft. After several attempts to talk with the doc about this policy we finally got an appointment for the extraction without needing a bone graft. Today (10/4/24) was the day the tooth was extracted. After the extraction the doc assured my wife that there would be pain medication sent to our pharmacy to be picked up. Here is where the problems start. No prescription was ever called in. We call the office and we're told that ibuprofen was sent. Now my wife is in a lot of pain from the extraction and when asked if there was possibly anything that could make her a bit more comfortable we were met with the response of "it is the doctor's policy that no pain medication is to be prescribed until several days with pain AFTER the procedure is done. Absolutely barbaric and zero care for patients after they get their pockets filled. Rude over the phone with zero empathy towards their patients. If ACE is reading this review please contact me I would really truly like to have a conversation with you about it. ***EDIT*** Three weeks have past since ACE Dental has commented below. I've sent an email to the below email address and have had ZERO interaction with them.

Before I moved to Texas I got my teeth looked at and found out I had wisdom teeth and never took care of them. A year and a half later they were starting to come in even more and was hurting. Luckily Dr. Sonkar, Jasmine, Barbara, and Bella at Ace Dental was about to work we with me on getting them removed as soon as possible and it was amazing. THE WHOLE PERIO TEAM all were so welcoming and kindhearted and so helpful! The process was easy, I didn’t feel no pain while they were doing the extraction, Bella will work with you on pricing especially with no insurance. I really suggest this to anyone who is looking for dental care or getting wisdom teeth removed, I definitely will be coming back!

I had a horrible experience here. I was seen at this location for a routine cleaning. The dental assistant was very nice and cleaned my teeth right away, no problem. Then she told me to wait for the dentist to do her part. I waiting for over an hour and then got up to ask someone how much longer would it be. Apparently the dentist, Dr. Gupta, was close by and heard my question. She stormed in the exam area, put on gloves, didn’t speak at all to me and got to work. This was the most painful, bloody experience I have ever had for a routine cleaning. And I get dental care regularly. At one point I had to yell in pain for her to stop. I feel like she was doing a deep cleaning without any numbing meds. She was very rude, showed no care that I was in pain. When she was done she put her instrument down and stormed away without a word. It is dentists like her that makes people develop anxiety going to the dentist! I honestly feel like she was mad that I asked why I was waiting so long and she intentionally cause pain for me, which is a horrible feeling. I will never go back to this location and I advise everyone to do the same! Especially if you already have anxiety about dental care.

If it’s possible to give 0 stars I went to get fillings done and during my procedure the dentist walked out of my room and then came back in and proceeded my procedure. The rest of the time while she finished she was distracted looking around and talking to people outside the room I was in. A piece of the instrument she was using to file my tooth flew off and hit me on the inside of my mouth. The dentist told me to calm down and it’s okay. She finished the procedure and when I went into my truck I saw the roof of my mouth and saw a bruise from where the instrument flew and hit me. Fast forward a couple days and I’m in even more pain than before I even got my fillings I called the dr office and they told me to go in. Me and my wife went back in and she told me the pain is normal to just be patient and it should be sore for 7-10 days. Although I knew it wasn’t sore it was actual pain. I waited 14 days and called back at this point the pain was so bad I couldn’t talk, eat or breathe the cold air hurt so much. I called back again and yet again they told me to go in. Saw the same Dr and she just said it’s my bite and filled down my tooth and told me yet again to be patient. Going on 3 weeks of pain I called again and they wanted me to go in again and see the same Dr. I ended up calling a different dentist to get a second opinion. As soon as I got there and they took my X-rays the doctor automatically saw what was wrong. I had an empty space from my cavity that wasn’t filled. My wife called ace dental to tell them and see if we could get refunded. We waited 2-3 weeks for a answer to be told that because the dentist states she was right we are not allowed livable for a refund. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

I came in for an emergency extraction because my wisdom tooth was painfully hitting my jawbone as it tried to come out. They saw me the next morning and extracted both wisdom teeth on that side. With a 2-year-old at home, I needed everything, including the procedure and recovery, to be quick. Amazingly, I was done in less than an hour! The extraction itself probably took about 20 minutes and was completely painless. Since only local anesthesia (which I preferred) was used, I was able to drive home and carry on with my day. The entire staff was efficient, thorough, and friendly.

It was amazing, I got 2 of my wisdom teeth removed and it was little to no pain getting them removed. They know how to treat their patients and how to keep them comfortable, Ace dental had to be the best dental place in Killeen hands down. I have gotten both gum contouring and wisdom teeth extraction performed by this team and each time I was greeted and cared for by the staff! I did a periodontal surgery April 2024 It was fast easy and painless the periodontist was nice and on top of her work she kept asking how am I doing and feeling during the procedure she is really great at what she does and the staff there are friendly too I asked her how long will it take for the surgery she said 30min she cleaned my teeth cut the gum removed the bacteria and stitched it up all pain free in 30 mins I recommend any one and they got payment options too. I had a great experience, the doctor was very informative as her assistant. Constant reassurance throughout the procedure and some laughs as well. My only suggestion would be a print out of care when at home such as brushing, using mouthwash, gargling etc. Other than that 5 stars and I don't do reviews but I made an exception on this one.

I have a lot of work that needs to be done. Because of that I just wanted a referral to an oral surgeon. Instead they want to do all the work there. I understand wanting to make money but I don't want to go through procedure after procedure spending thousands upon thousands. I can't afford that! This is why I need the referral. So my medical insurance will cover. No, they want to just keep the work inhouse so they can make the money. Well you're not getting the money anyway because I don't have it. If all you need is a cleaning and check up. This is your place. If you need dental work done DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I dislike writing negative reviews but this ultimately had to be said. I previously attended Ace for some fillings and proper teeth cleaning. It was later upon going back to college that I discovered that the filling had fell out , I could feel with my tongue where the hole was. I was extremely upset because it made it very uncomfortable to eat. I went back to Ace told them what happened and they fix it. Now we fast forward a week ago when I was flossing a piece of the filing just popped out I was in complete shock , thinking that filling were supposed to stay in once placed. I will not be returning back to Ace because it seems that these fillings coming out just keeps on making me return. Overall the cleaning process for my teeth was good. It was just after I had my filing procedure done , more and more problems arose.

I went to the on in Killeen on Stan Schlueter and had to have a tooth fixed (my front tooth) this dentist tells me that she won’t do a veneer because she doesn’t want to pull my tooth….. um ok you don’t have to pull a tooth for a veneer but she thought so and argued that and seemed to think my tooth was worth saving. So she did a filling and then proceeded to tell me oh don’t eat on this. I said ok for 24 hours she said no you are not supposed to eat on your front tooth after or at all when you get a filling. How does a person eat not using front teeth??? I will never go back. That was the second time I had to go there and that was for her to fix what she messed up. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

I'm from Round Rock & I have been with my current primary Dentist & Periodontist for the last 9ys plus. However, I have not been happy with my current Dental treatments & the prices, I've been charged & paying for my results. I was speaking with my co-worker, who lives in Killeen, regarding my concerns & she referred me to Ace Dental. I could not be happier, it's was worth the travel to Killeen, to receive such Great Dental Service & Care. Ace Employees are Curtious, Pleasant, Professional, Cheeful & Caring. The Receptionist called me twice, to give to inform me of my health insurance approval, before traveling for my schedule appointment. I called Ace & inform them, I was on my way, for my appointment, it was schedule for 9am. I was 10mins behind & The Receptionist, called me to find out if my travels was okay, because they knew I was coming from Round Rock. She asked me for estimate time, then said no worries, just drive carefully, yur appointment is secure. I arrived 12mins late. The Receptionist was soooo jovial, She asked me, to sign some consent forms, 7mins later, I'm getting my x-rays, I was explained the treatment plan & financing, if I wanted it. Then, I met with Dr. Sonkar regarding my Dental screening, Dr. Sonkar WOW me with her Professionalism & Knowledge, explaining what She wanted to do to give me the Smile I needed & wanted. I feel I'm in great hands, seeking my Dental needs. Dr. Sonkar even informed me, I needed 3# extraction done, 2 # containing infections asap, that should have already been taking care, by my current Dentist. Dr. Sonkar performed all 3# extractions & I was done with everything & on way home before noon. I found a New Dentistry & it's worth the travel to Killeen. The Wonderful & Caring Staff consists of Jasmine, Bella, Sheina & Barbara; Provides Extreme Great Customer Service & Shows they Love Working with each Other, while creating a Beautiful Environment.

I had to have Alveoplasty (Bone Trimming) I was so nervous and scared. But DR. SONKAR and JASMINE ………… BABY THEY DID THEIR THING!!!! Jasmine walked me through the procedure, showed me all the tools that would be used and made me feel very comfortable. So when Doc came in and went over everything again I knew I was in good hands. The procedure took no more than 15 mins and I didn’t feel a thing other than the needle to numb me. Great job ladies and thanks for making my day ?

I paid to have a root canal and crown done . The root canal was not done correctly . Went back twice only to be told there’s nothing that can be done there and had to be referred to a specialist . Only to find out the specialist doesnt take my insurance and i have to come out of pocket with more money . Not to mention ive been in pain with and infection the last 30 days . With no update on my refund . Do not recommend.
