Before earning his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the USC School of Dentistry in 1996, Dr. Ringer spent 10 years as a software engineer. His passion for contemporary and aesthetic dentistry led him to complete a year-long postgraduate residency at the prestigious Esthetic Professionals Education Center in Tarzana, California. He is also actively involved with the Spears Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona—a globally recognized leader in dental research and education—where he stays current with cutting-edge techniques and practices. Dr. Ringer participates in advanced study groups and attends numerous seminars, symposia, and courses each year on a wide range of dental topics, from innovative materials to enhanced patient care. He also devotes his time to educating fellow dentists in modern and cosmetic dentistry.
A member of multiple professional organizations, Dr. Ringer is part of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and is pursuing accreditation within the academy, a distinction held by fewer than 1,000 dentists worldwide. He served as Past President of the Orange County Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and has been on its board of directors for a decade. Additionally, he is affiliated with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Orange County Dental Society.
Having lived in Orange County, California, for over 40 years, Dr. Ringer values close-knit family connections, with his relatives living nearby. This family-oriented approach is mirrored in the way he treats both his patients and team members. "I see my patients as more than just a set of teeth; they are individuals with feelings and concerns who deserve to be treated with kindness and respect," he shares. Dr. Ringer makes it a point to personally follow up with each patient the day after their treatment.

I have been grinding my teeth for years and years. I had ground several of the teeth down to where the soft dentin inside was exposed and I was slowly making it worse. Dr Ringer discussed my options with me, then after we agreed on a plan, he rebuilt the teeth. He spent hours going over the teeth (I needed 11 teeth rebuilt) and afterwards my smile looks natural. It reminded me of what my mouth looked like before I had ground the teeth down. It wasn't exactly the same, that was impossible, but to have so much restoration work look natural makes me feel a lot better about my smile. Dr. Ringer takes the time and has the expertise to do the job right.
