I saw Dr Tanpattana because my dentist recommended I see a periodontist before starting Invisalign to make sure my gums are healthy. First off, the Dr was very thorough with her exam, and made sure to explain what she was doing, why, and making sure I was comfortable. Also, I never felt like I was being sold any treatment that I didn’t really need. I previously saw a different periodontist who told me I’d need 4 grand worth of work before I could start Invisalign, so I came here for a second opinion. This was money well spent, and I’ll definitely come here if I need any perio work in the future

Dr Todd Yamada is in my opinion the best periodontist on the West Coast. Not only has he exceeded all my expectations , but he also has the most gentle touch. I’ve been his patient for 28 years. When I first arrived at his office I had multiple issues with my gums health and other oral problems. He cured loosening teeth etc. Since I have been a patient all my oral issues have been corrected and am happy to say he stopped tooth loss and haven’t had any problems. I will continue to use him as long as he stays in practice.

Went to Dr. Yamada yesterday for a tooth extraction and bone graft, in preparation for a future implant. He's very very thorough and you can tell his expertise and pride for his craft really showed in his work. Not only was he wonderful and very friendly in his demeanor, but he really showed he cared with his follow up phone call. It's a great personal touch that me and my wife Ria really appreciate. We love the office staff also, they really took great care of us. Looking forward to future visits : )

I have been going to Dr. Todd Yamada since the early 90's and he is the best. He is so kind, gentle, reassuring and good at his work. To get to him, you might have to wait a couple of weeks, but once he treats you, it is the best treatment anywhere. His office staff are wonderful and long time employees, and he is now expanding and adding more dentists. Dr. Yamada is always on time, and you never have to wait. If you need to see a periodontist, don't be afraid, go to Dr. Yamada and he will look after you.

Best Best Ever! As a dental chicken, Dr. Yamada has totally cured me of my need for sedatives even for things like bone grafts and implant procedures. Fabulous staff. He is highly skilled, top of his field and even teaches at UCLA school of dentistry. If you have to have these scary procedures, this is the best place to go.
