My review got deleted so be aware this place deletes their bad reviews. I had gone to this place for my son first visit at the dentist. Everything was going great up until the dentist came to look at my sons teeth. She didn't introduce herself, she made no talk or comments about his teeth all I can tell you that it was a blonde white lady maybe in her 40's. When she was done, she said nothing, got up from her chair and left. I was left confused because I didn't know if we were done. We waited for a few mins and her assistant came over let us know she was done and to have a good day. I had to ask questions myself to find out the condition of my sons teeth. I just thought it was unprofessional and a bit frustrating that she didn't communicate anything about his teeth and didn't really acknowledge us during our visit other than inspect my sons teeth.

Dr. Ryan is hands down the best orthodontist I have ever been to. He genuinely cares about his work and you can feel that in every appointment. He spends extra time and gives real attention to the details to make sure everything is done correctly, and if something is not perfect, he fixes it right away until it is. On top of that, he is extremely kind and professional. He even shortened his own lunch break to fit me in around my schedule, which says a lot about how much he cares about his patients. The customer service is top of the line, the results are outstanding, and the whole experience has been smooth and stress-free. I honestly cannot imagine a better orthodontist. Highly recommend Dr. Ryan.

Got sent here from North Hills west coast dental. In terms of quality of work they are fine. Only issue was with billing. First it was one plan for said amount then it was modified and I ended up picking up additional costs. I went in thinking I was in network only to find out they billed me for out of network. $800 additional dollars gone

There’s nothing magical about this place and they do also discriminate if you’re not Spanish last name you will wait there for one hour just like I have took my two grandsons and my son-in-law had an appointment at 1 o’clock. My son-in-law said it’s our first time. what do I need? She told him the receptionist just sign in and have a seat waited for about 20 minutes and people started to come in already. It was only three of us when we first arrived And then after sign the application she told him to have a seat again. People start to come in and whoever came after us were called in. Then an hour later we started to ask when are we going to be called in? She said pretty soon. Went in again and asked her is pretty soon arriving or not yet then she comes out just give me 10 minutes. I’m going to clean the office and call you guys in then we had enough already because wasted That time, if you wanna waste your time and if you’re not there, same culture do not walk in that office. You’re going to waste your time because they do Discriminate.

Had an appointment at 1 o’clock for my two boys, nobody inside the office just me and my two boys I told her it was my first time what do I need? She told me just sign it and sit down after I sat down. People start coming in and she’s been calling them then then she gives me the application for my two sons to fill out gave it to her back and waited for an hour then I started to have a conversation with another parent whose first time as well can’t wait after me somehow she was called first then I go up to the window and I told her hey what is going on? I’ve been waiting for an hour and you guys saw that I’ve been waiting for an hour 15 minutes later one of the workers comes out says I’m gonna clean the office the chair will call you in 10 minutes and then I just had enough and left and told her this is the most horrible dentist office I’ve been at so if you wanna waste your time, no problem

Yesterday 11-10-24, I was treated at Magicland Children's Dentistry. No body wears name tags,so I cannot state names. The treatment was excellent, one huge drawback of illegal behavior. In pain, not thinking straight, I signed a contract for what was supposed to be 750.00 for payment of what my ins. would not cover. 48 payments at 25.95 Well, lets add that up and see what we get. 48 times 25.00 equals 1,197.60 not 750.00. Don't waste your time going to this place. Unprofessional and lying staff. This place is a complete joke. Let me tell you my story. We went for a routine cleaning. The person who did it was extremely aggressive. After the doctor's examination, they suggested we get an x-ray, which we did. The same person who did the cleaning, took the x-ray. Again extremely aggressive, made my son cry. After the x-ray, I went to discuss the issue with the doctor, only to find out that this x-ray was taken a year ago and is on my different child's account. When I asked why these pictures were on my daughter's account, she told me that this one was taken a year ago (my son's x-ray, on my daughter's account ??????????). She then showed me the new pictures, which were exactly the same. That was it for me. I asked for my children's dental records. Initially they told me they would be ready in a week, then in two weeks, and now, they will be ready in 6 to 7 weeks. It is obvious to me that they are trying to cover up their mistake. Please do not trust these unprofessional people who lie all the time, just to make money. Make sure you double check everything they say.

I'll never go back to this place! I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment and didn't see a soul until 40 minutes later. There was no one at reception to greet me. I find that extremely distasteful. Similarly, in the treatment room, they see 10 other people at once. They listen to your personal medical information. They need more privacy. Another thing is that they also treat adults; it's supposed to be for children. I recommend L.A. Care Dental, which is about a mile away. The service is faster, more private, and all the employees are dedicated, unlike the receptionists at Magicland Dental.

Really enjoy bringing my daughter here. The staff is knowledgeable, understanding, and very polite. They have different tv screens with different children's show that play, as well as touch screens for them to play games on. There are also tv's in the rooms so the kids can watch shows while having their teeth done. They take insurance and Medi Cal. Really nice place.

Place just opened up, so everything is new. The waiting room is so cool for kids! There’s tvs, playing screens, huge area to roam, etc. The staff was so friendly & the dentist was awesome. He was very well educated on the struggles that come with autism and mouth hygiene. So definitely recommend for special needs patients also :) In the target shopping center also so lots of parking!
