AVOID if you value communication and transparency. I waited 6 weeks to post a review, attempting to give them all the opportunities to respond. I was referred here by a friend in the field, and I'm sorry I listened. At my initial consultation, no one mentioned fees or what the visit would include. Only after it was over was I told I owed $300 before I could leave. The staff member couldn't estimate the cost of recommended follow-up care and promised to call within a week to review a treatment plan and pricing. That call never came. When I got an appointment confirmation call, I had to keep the staff member on the line just to get a price, and was quoted $1,000. When I arrived this morning, on a day off work, I was met with a demand for full payment up front. When I asked questions, I got a curt, argumentative response. The whole process felt like pressure, not professional care, so I left. I've since tried to contact the office several times and have received no response. That is a pattern, not a one-off: promised calls that don't happen, costs that go undisclosed until the last minute, and no accountability afterward. Patients deserve to know what they're paying for before they're asked to pay. This practice doesn't offer that.

I was very happy with Dr Louie and Maria while they did my procedure. Everything was fine until I needed my area and teeth cleaned. I dont remember her name but I was treated very disrespectful, and not human. She immediately went onto to tell me how my teeth weren't being brushed or cleaned properly and was pointing out EVERYTHING WRONG, and made me feel like trash. She went through all my teeth. I didn't know I needed to come with white perfect teeth. What's the point of having dentist offices then. Well unfortunately we're not all god and perfect like this one was. I was very mad and I left without finishing all my work. And I refuse to pay a dentist office for a worker to treat anyone like that. Id rather drive hours somewhere else or out of state to get better care.

I was so nervous to have the laser treatment done. As I sat it the chair waiting for Dr. Louie I had made up my mind that I was going to walk out. But dr. Louie quickly calmed me down and assured me I was going to be OK. The procedure was painless. In fact I never did have to take anything for pain. The most discomfort was the shot in tbe roof of my mouth. The results are amazing. My teeth feel good as new. Best part is i lost 10 pounds because I could not eat junk food. Now im cutting out junk food forever. So far it's been a positive experience and I would recommend it.

I had a very disappointing experience at Advanced Perio Endo Experts. My appointment was scheduled for 8:10 AM, and I arrived on time. After checking in, I waited a little over 7 minutes before the technician, Yvonne, called me back. She initially began walking me to a consultation room, but another staff member entered that room, so instead she brought me back to the front reception area to discuss my treatment plan and the cost. This conversation happened in an open space where other patients were waiting, which made me very uncomfortable. Discussing treatment details and financial matters in front of other patients felt inappropriate and lacked privacy. I felt awkward having to ask about payment options in a public setting. There was also poor communication regarding their payment policy. At no point was it explained that stepping away briefly to make a phone call would result in me not receiving treatment that day. I stepped away to make a quick call in order to arrange payment, believing I was simply taking a moment to resolve the financial portion of the visit. While I was there, there was a lot of back-and-forth between Yvonne and Dr. Newman about whether or not I would even be able to continue with care. Yvonne had to go speak with Dr. Newman twice, which created confusion and made the situation feel very disorganized. It wasn’t until after I found a solution and let them know I could make the payment that I was told I wouldn’t be treated. What made this experience even more frustrating is that I rearranged my schedule significantly for this appointment. I delayed starting a new job, arranged daycare, and made sure I was available so I could get this treatment taken care of. Given the effort it took to attend this appointment, the lack of flexibility and communication was extremely frustrating. I also spoke with the manager, Matt, about the situation. Unfortunately, he wasn’t no help. The entire situation felt unnecessarily complicated and poorly handled. Patients should feel respected, informed, and comfortable, particularly when discussing treatment plans and finances. Unfortunately, that was not the experience I had here.

My wife had a very frustrating experience with Matt (manager) Yvonne(the tech upfront) and dr. Newman at Advanced Periodontics Experts. Instead of being clear about what needed to be done and how much time they actually had available, she had my wife go through the process of calling CareCredit and handling payment details. After doing all that, she was then told there wasn’t enough time to proceed. That’s something that should have been communicated from the start. Because of the lack of clear communication, my wife ended up wasting a significant amount of her time for no reason. What makes it even more upsetting is that my wife actually delayed starting a new job so she could make this appointment and get everything taken care of. To go through all of that effort just to be told there wasn’t enough time after the fact was extremely disappointing and honestly pretty discouraging. When patients take time out of their day for appointments, the least that can be done is to be upfront and organized. Unfortunately, that was not the experience

This truly was an unbelievable experience. That is why I am taking the time to write a review. Instead of the usual “you are taking up too much of my time…can’t you see how busy I am? attitude, these people treat you like a human being from the moment you walk in the door. They smile, greet you kindly, and invite you to have a cup of coffee or tea. The receptionist laughed when I handed her my unopened information envelope, having never found the time to complete it. She simply gave me another one on the clipboard after I came out of the restroom. The lovely lady who showed me to the exam room took my coffee cup and emptied it for me with no fuss at all. She conversed with me the entire time she took my x-rays. When Dr Danielson came in, he kindly explained my two abscesses without making me feel like an idiot by using large terms I didn’t understand. When I called him “Dr Donaldson,” he never even corrected me (I apologize, Dr Danielson). When he showed me to the appointment room, he even took the time to pull the chair out for me to sit down. Then Valerie came in …and she was another sweetheart, patiently explaining to me how the insurance worked…and we had a good laugh when she made the root canal appointment on my birthday. She assured me she would try to find an alternate opening if possible and we discussed where those free cups of birthday coffee would be offered on alternate days as well. In short, the entire office was just a lovely bunch of individuals with no airs or affectations…just down to earth, friendly people. I comment you all. In this day and age, such treatment is difficult to find. You truly made my day.

I’m not quite sure if words will do justice, but my experience here has been the absolute best I’ve experienced in any medical setting. This is my second visit, and it has been about a month since my last. When I walked in, I was welcomed back by the front desk reception, and by name at that. That in itself, doesn’t happen most places, and if it does, not by the second visit. It’s nice to feel remembered. The waiting area is stocked with coffee and tea while you wait, and not just the cheap stuff, it’s Starbies. Another thing the office has done to show they care. I was called back a couple minutes before my appointment time, very short wait. Dr. Jett was not far behind at all. Jett not only fully explained the issues on hand with my gums and teeth, but educated me on the why’s, and the how’s on what needs to be done to correct the matter. It was easy to see the confidence that Jett had in his knowledge and expertise, as well as the tools that he has available to him, in what I must is a very impressive office. When it came time to talk numbers and what costs might be, that was my biggest worry. How much would this all cost me? I was scared I would be unable to afford the costs, and as a result, not be able to take care of the health of my teeth and gums, and having matters spiral further out of control. Dr. Jett went above and beyond to assure me that we can take care of this, and provided me a plan to make it happen. It’s been 10 years so far, that I’ve been without some of my teeth. Many years of dealing with the self esteem hit of not wanting to ever smile.. to be in photos, or even want to talk much, for fear of what others thought of my teeth. Today, thanks to Dr. Jett and his team, I truly feel like I’m finally on my way to fixing everything I’ve been wanting to take care of for years. I don’t know how I could possibly thank them as much as I think they deserve. I am more than anxious to begin our treatment plan, and such a weight, a mental stress and worry has been taken away. Guys, I literally could not hold back my tears. I wish I could give them 6 out of 5 stars. For anyone checking the reviews to decide if this might be the place for you, please come see for yourself just how amazing humans can be sometimes.

Been with dr Danielson since the previous clinic he was at, great guy, takes his time and does careful work, he’s done many root canal retreats for me (due to previous faulty subprime dentistry, which makes me very cautious when finding new dentist), highly recommend. Another huge plus is this office use many new looking up to date equipment (at least to my untrained eye), which is definitely a plus.

I was greeted by the very personable and friendly staff as I entered. I arrived a little late for my appointment as I was traveling from a distance. They were still able to get me into my appointment promptly. Dr. Jett was very thorough during my exam and consultation. He explained what my procedure would intel and made sure all my questions were answered. I was also given a printout of my out of pocket expense and shown what my insurance covers for my procedure. As well as what to expect for my pre op and post op treatment. This gave me the confidence to know that I will be taken care of throughout the whole process. I have struggled to find the words to describe just how wonderful our experience was with Dr. Jett and his staff. My daughter visited him to improve her gummy smile with esthetic crown lengthening. From the very first second of entering the office we were greeted with kind welcomes and genuine hellos from the staff. They had an awesome coffee bar. We waited under 3 minutes to be called back, and Dr. Jett was incredibly helpful and answered all our questions. The procedure was seamless and the assistant Jesica (with one S ?) was so gentle and helpful and provided us with all the information we needed for proper healing and aftercare. After getting the crown lengthening, I saw my daughter’s confidence soar when she smiled. We are so blessed to have such a such a skilled periodontist work on her gums such as Dr. Jett, but even more so such a kind, lovely experience at this office. I will forever recommend him and his staff to everyone we know. After leaving the office my daughter even spoke about how she would maybe want to work in his office! Once Dr. Jett felt satisfied he’d answered all my questions and concerns, he then began his thorough exam. Much to my surprise (and relief), Dr. Jett reported I was free of any gum disease and had addressed all of Dr. LaFon’s concerns. "You need a root canal." As soon as I heard those words, I felt a pit in my stomach. Scenes from movies, such as "Little Shop of Horrors" began flashing into my mind. After confirming the appointment at Advanced Perio Endo eXperts, I thought to myself, "Well, that wasn't bad." Still, I was convinced a sadistic Steve Martin as Dr. Orin Scrivello would greet me at my appointment. My experience at Advanced Perio Endo eXperts was NOTHING like "Little Shop of Horrors". The staff was the definition of inviting and did everything they could to reduce my fear. I'm sure I wasn't the first person to walk through their doors with the "Please don't hurt me" look on my face. Instead of Dr. Scrivello, I was greeted by a warm Dr. Newman who told me all about the procedure, from the overall process to how long I would be in the chair. Knowing what was to come eased my fears considerably. My anxiety decreased once again after I was told they play patient-requested music during the procedure. As my favorite Pandora station played on the speaker overhead, Dr. Newman explained each step in incredible detail, asking me numerous times how I was feeling and if I needed her to pause. Before I knew it, she was wrapping up and handing me my discharge papers. I know the idea of having a root canal is right up there with bamboo shoots being shoved under your fingernails, but I assure you, it was less stressful than receiving a filling. Have no fear, Dr. Newman is here.

This afternoon I had a consultation appointment at Advanced Perio Endo Experts, specifically with Dr. Scott Jett. I entered a beautiful office & was first greeted by a very friendly front office staff. I was then taken back by an equally sweet dental technician, Megan, who took my X-rays and assisted Dr. Jett. I was then introduced and seen by Dr. Jett. He was very personable as well as informative in my dental surgical needs and dental plan. He explained a new way of grafting my recessed gums that I qualify for called Pinhole Graft technique. I then met with Shannon, the Treatment Coordinator. Again, very nice, personable and informative. I just need to schedule a surgery date. All in all, I give this office, the staff and Dr. Jett 5 stars and highly recommend this practice if you’re looking for a (periodontist/endodontist) oral surgeon.

Dr. Newman is a genius! She was able to look at my CBCT scan and predict a possible bad situation with a tooth. The tooth had a history of re-treatments with fillings at the general dentist, and I was pushing its limit. I fully trusted her expertise and accepted the root canal treatment. One root canal was in the early stage of an infection! We were both very happy and pleased to catch it early. I had very minimal discomfort afterwards. I really do appreciate the entire endo team at APEX! Thank you Dr. Newman, Maira, Chanell, Yvonne and Aly!!

I had an appointment on April 26,2021 with Dr Jett. I hav always been afraid of going for any type of dental work ! I have VERY sensitive teeth and gums and even a routine probing is uncomfortable... however, I was at such ease while talking with DR Jett... he was SO gentle and kind and the probing didn’t hurt as bad as I thought it would..I am actually not afraid to go back for the recommended dental procedure he has suggested... also the person who brought me back to the room was super nice! Sorry , I couldn’t remember her name.... than you for your kindness and your sincere concern.. look forward to seeing you soon!

I was in need of a root canal for a broken front tooth. My dentist referred me to Dr. Newman and as everyone else here has said said was awesome. Zero pain with the exception of the injection in the roof of the mouth to numb it. Explained everything as she went and what it would be like. She did an absolute great job rebuilding the tooth to look natural until my crown was done.

I highly recommend Dr. Newman she was wonderful and so nice to work with. My Dentist referred myself to her for a root canal since she is an expert. I initially did not want a root canal so Dr. Newman did a few test and gave me a second opinion turns out I truly did needed one and I am so glad I went through with it and had it done. The first day I felt a little weird due to the numbness, but second day I feel fabulous like I never had it done! I am very pleased with this office, Yvonne was also nice to work with she works upfront at the desk and answered all of my questions and called me with an estimate prior to my appointment. If I ever need another root canal or know someone who does I will definitely recommend Dr. Newman she is highly skilled and I can tell by the way my mouth feels second day amazing! Recently my dentist's office called to get me a consultation with Advanced Perio Endo eXperts. The next day a girl from APEX called me, her name was Aly. She told me that my situation had already been evaluated and my tooth would have to be extracted. I figured that would be the case and opted for the implant. I wanted to get this started right away to optimize my insurance. So Aly set up an appointment for me just 4 days later. She was a lot of fun on the phone, which was great. I got a text reminder 2 hours before my appointment and when I got there, it was a very nice office and they abided by all the COVID protocols. Everything was explained really well, they even gave me my up to date insurance info. Then I saw Dr. Louie. What a nice guy. Again a thorough explanation of what would happen. Then from the shots, to the extraction, to the bone graft, not one bit of discomfort. I slept well and woke without any pain. I appreciate people that take pride in their work and these people do. I included some pictures so you know who wrote this review and to mess with the "front desk"! Hahaha

I needed a root canal for over a week. Suffering with great pain I called Dr . Newman and they got me in right away. I have had two other root canals and was very anxious about the procedure. The assistant hooked me up with some great 80 s music and the Dr started the procedure. She was so gentle explaining exactly what she was doing. Before I new it I actually fell asleep during the procedure. . It was by far the best dental experience I have ever had. From office staff everyone was so nice . Thank you for such great care. I have a procedure done at this office. I went to an post-op check-up. I was seen by an Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), the doctor did not see me. I asked the RDA multiple times if the doctor who worked on me would see me. She said no. This is not protocol. This sub-standard care.
