We had the best experience at Sunrise Pediatric Dentistry! They were able to accommodate my daughter last minute to help with a cavity filling emergency and were so incredibly sweet, patient and empathetic. My daughter is normally terrified of dentists and she left saying she wants to become one! The entire staff is lovely, the space is great with a fortress and toys and books for kids, and they gave my daughter a prize and balloon animal after so she was happy. Both of our daughter’s were seen here today. They both had a blast, when they felt a little nervous they were quickly comforted by us and the team. The waiting room was a small play room, all the tools and machines were introduced as toys and the dentist showed how each one works. To top this all off they got goodie bags with a toy of choice. But the cherry on top was the animal balloon figures made by the super talented Dr.Sheila Nguyen :)

My son and I just visited Dr. Sheila for his first dental appointment and wow was I impressed! Our family has a lot of dental professionals, so needless to say we did a lot of research and asking around to try and find the right dentist for our kids. Even though she was out of our network, Dr. Sheila came highly recommended for providing the kind of above-and-beyond care we wanted for our kids' oral health. Dr. Sheila certainly did not disappoint! My 2yo son was a little nervous when he arrived, but Dr. Sheila and her staff were easily able to calm him down and even got him excited to be at the dentist and participate in an actual professional cleaning (not just a once-over with a toothbrush...). By the end of the appointment, I basically had to pry him away from the place he was having such a good time. I couldn't recommend Dr. Sheila and Sunrise Pediatric more for any parents looking for a pediatric dentist! Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Dr Sheila was so patient with my daughter who is scared of dental work. Her patience, and yes, understanding of how a child's mind works, is phenomenal. She accommodated requests for alternate ways to work, for example, my daughter was scared of the suction straw, so she let her spit every 5 seconds instead of using the straw even though it meant a much longer consult. My daughter declared ' I love my dentist'!! This is the place to go for pediatric dentistry. Very grateful.

We had such a great visit with Dr. Sheila! This was our 1.5 year olds first ever dentist visit. Of course this meant he was off his nap schedule the day of his appointment and was a little tired and shy when we first walked in. Dr. Sheila and her staff gave him time to warm up and get comfortable with her and the office and all the fun things to do! When it was time for the exam she let him see and touch all the tools before using them and even sang his favorite songs to keep him distracted. We’ve never seen our son lay so still, especially for brushing. She even got him to floss! We couldn’t have had a more positive experience and we'll certainly be returning. Dr. Sheila is the best!

As we walked in,we were welcomed by Dr.Sheila and her assistant,KeistaleMy 2yo and 7yo loved the environment.My daughter went first and my son started to cry,but Dr.Sheila and her assistant made the whole appt fun and waited till he calmed down.He says they were friendly,patient,and made him comfortable in the chair as he was feeling afraid. He liked how they explain what tools they were gonna use and what it is for.This was the first time I was able to leave the room and me and my daughter went to the waiting area to play.I was so happy my son was in good hands. Dr.Sheila and her assistant were talking about Pokemon and legos since that is what is my son was into.They had a tv on the ceiling and asked what show on Disney+ did they want to watch during the cleaning. After the appt.,Dr.Sheila provides a report card of what was done today,dental goodie bag is what my son called it,and Dr.Sheila explains what is the next step and will send it via email too.When they were done,my kids chose a colored toothbrush,lollipop,the assistant is a balloon artist who made whatever they wanted,and best part was the treasure cave.They didn’t want to leave as they played for a bit in the waiting area. I would definitely recommend this pediatric dentistry!My kids can’t wait to come back!

Dr. Sheila is the best pediatric dentist I've ever encountered. We were coming to her for a 4th opinion because every other dentist we saw suggested putting my child under general anesthesia and I was super uncomfortable with putting my toddler under. Dr. Sheila spent a considerable amount of time explaining to me all of the alternative options and was extremely patient and kind. She was the only dentist that spent a lot of time helping us brainstorm ways we could solve the problem and I felt like she truly cared about my child. Dr. Sheila and her assistant Lety were stupendous during my son's dental visit! I brought in my 5 year old son for a second opinion because my son has been uncooperative during every cleaning appointment. My son now needs dental work under general anesthesia and as a first time parent dealing with this it has been so stressful to make the decision in putting him under. I was provided with two different treatment plans for his dental work. Dr. Sheila was very informative and provided alternatives. This has been so helpful for my husband and I in deciding what to do for our son's dental work. As soon as we walked into the office my son was excited to be at the dentist. Dr. Sheila and Lety were both so loving, kind and very patient with my son. I'm so amazed on how they gained my son’s confidence and trust. They were able to get him to sit on the chair all on his own (we have always done lap to lap cleanings) They also had success with X-rays! I was so shocked! (no other office has been patient with him or has attempted to take x-rays because they see he's afraid) Lety explained every step to his cleaning and demonstrated every tool she used. My son felt so comfortable and was so happy the whole time, not one tear was shared. My son had a smile the whole time, he can’t wait to go back!
