I took my 2yo daughter to her first dental appointment and couldnt be happier with how the appointment went. Kayli the hygienist was so patient, understanding, and very kind. She explained everything while making recommendations and was so attentive not only to my child's dental health but overall health. Dr. L was great, very patient and gentle ( a little to gentle ?). He explained everything he was a doing, he listened to my concern and addressed them while making recommendation for the best dental hygiene. Poor bedside manners. Poor communication. Disrespectful to us, the patents, and our child. Nobody deserves to be subjected to witnessing a dentist mocking your 4-year old undergoing a treatment to the staff at the front desk, without realizing you are the child's mother (only one parent is allowed in the treatment room). And if you dare to question anything, you get a scathing letter the following day suggesting to seek future care elsewhere. If I could give zero on the scale of 1-5, I would.

Cannot speak more highly of Dr. Naomi, the staff and the overall Lil Dente experiences we’ve had. We’ve been going here for ~3 years and have loved the normal checkup experience, but unfortunately recently found ourselves needing 2 cavities for my (new) 5 year old. They made the experience a 10/10 which I didn’t think could exist for this kind of a thing. Truly recommend everything they are about!!!!

Best dentist experience ever! My daughter has been going to the dentist since she was a year old in NYC, but we always had to hold her down and she would scream during her appointment. Not here at Lil Dente! They are so kind and gentle, and show each tool to the kiddo and explain it to them in a way that isn’t scary. The office is bright and perfect for kids. Dr. Naomi has the best bedside manner and all of the team is kind, warm, and welcoming. I wish I had a dentist like this when I was a kid! Can’t wait to go back (no, really!).

Dr. Naomi responded within minutes and spoke to me multiple times that evening and the next morning before and after our appointment. The whole staff is so kind and caring with their young patients. They treat them with respect and provide age appropriate knowledge to them on how they can take care of their teeth. Office is beautiful, staff are amazing and Dr. Naomi made sure to take time to explain everything to me in detail while my son went to go get his goody bag. When we moved to town a couple of years ago we picked this office out of convenience (2 minutes from our house). But having now had several appointments here, there is no way I would go any where else— and this is coming from someone who is also a dental professional. Dr. Naomi’s bedside manner and knowledge is perfect for nervous kiddos and apprehensive parents. Her staff is incredible as well from the front desk to chairside assistants, and their amazing hygienist. Naomi has done a great job cultivating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. My kiddos honestly forget they are at the dentist (queue the tv screens on the ceiling, stuffed animals, and fun decorations).

A bizarre/bad experience with a cavity filling at our previous pediatric dentist brought us to Lil Dente for a consult. It is a beautiful and well run office. Dr Naomi spent a lot of time making sure she understood what I hadn't liked about our previous experience and explaining how things would go in her office. She also spoke directly to my 5 year old, listened to her and generally treated her like a whole person who was involved in the process and who deserved to understand what would happen during the procedure. All in all a wonderful, refreshing and reassuring experience. We are so glad we found them!

Lil Dente was was incredible! They were great with my young baby, and made her feel extremely comfortable. They explained everything to me so clearly and had pictures to help explain what they were going to do/be looking for. The office was very clean and decorated very cute for kids. 10/10 great experience!

I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Naomi & her team. We had already had a wonderful experience with routine cleanings, but my son recently chipped his tooth on the weekend and Dr. Naomi responded immediately, made amazing referrals to specialists and helped us get appointments right away. My kids love Lil Dente so much that when my son chipped his tooth he said "at least I can go back to the dentist again..."

Dr Naomi was WONDERFUL. The office was clean, calming and enjoyable for my daughter that just turned 2! We were so nervous as it was my daughter’s first visit to the dentist and anyone with an 2 year old knows it’s not easy for them to sit still. However, Dr. Naomi made my daughter feel comfortable and sang twinkle twinkle to her while brushing her teeth. She also explained thoroughly to us how to help her brush going forward. The whole staff was wonderful. HIGHLY recommend.

Dr. Naomi and her staff are amazing! They are organized, friendly, and genuinely seem to love being around children. This was my second visit with my toddler and first time for my 16 month old. Both children felt at ease in the beautiful and kid friendly office space. My toddler called all his relatives afterwards to tell them about the marshmallow toothpaste! Highly recommend.

Lil' Dente Pediatric Dentistry in Darien is a cute, friendly place. The staff and Dr. Naomi are very kind and welcoming. They take time to teach the kids and help them feel calm during their visit. It's nice that there are extra chairs in the room for parents too. It's rare to find a dentist office that feels so warm and inviting, from the front desk staff all the way to the dentist. I highly recommend them.

My 2 young children (currently 4 and 2) go to lil dente and the experiences weve had have been great. Dr. Naomi is a wizard w the kids. My kids actually look fwd to going, which is hard to believe. The office itself is bright, clean, geared towards kids, and generally calming. I always assumed that children’s dentist trips would be a nightmarish ordeal but its been the opposite, for which i am so thankful. I am happy to write a positive review for dr naomi and lil dente.

I cannot say enough good things about lil dente. From the second you step in the door you feel the calm and warm welcome from the staff. The office itself is absolutely beautiful and Dr. Naomi and staff put a lot of thoughtfulness in the design in the office to appeal to a young, anxious child. The staff is extremely organized and professional. My daughter went from having no cavities to needing a root canal in 6 months was put at ease by her bedside manner which blew me away. As a parent, you can imagine how upset I was when I heard this news, and she gave me multiple hugs which really meant a lot. Dr. Naomi told a story about how she was going to make my daughter’s teeth sparkle and gave each of her instruments a character accordingly. Narrating a story alongside such a complex procedure in a small mouth is not a small task and she really pulled it off under immense stress. I was really blown away by her creativeness, care, and passion for what she does. Every pediatric doctor should take a lesson from her playbook! We are lucky to have her in Darien! My son can’t wait to go back! Bravo!
