Horrible experience, the staff called 3 times the day before my appointment for my insurance, I asked her to please call me if I’m not in network. I sat there for almost t hours before she tells me she didn’t have my insurance information, it took five minutes for her to pull it and tell me I was out of network, ok fine. I left after she told me I was still going to have to wait since 3 people were ahead. I had a 10am appointment it’s almost noon, these people don’t know what they are doing stop making triple appointments if the staff cannot handle the work load

If I could, I would give this place zero stars I would. First off telling me he needs eight silver cap fillings/crowns on all 8 molars. Got another evaluation and that’s definitely not needed, I’m glad I trust my mom gut. I will never bring my son here again. Refused to accept his previous doctor Xray they kept on assisting on taking new X-rays and wouldn’t let go back with my son while they did the X-rays. Glad I trusted my mom gut.

First of all when they call you to schedule an appointment they never leave a voicemail. Second of all when you walk in the receptionist are rude and ignorant. And I am not the first person to complain based on the other google reviews. This is bad business representation. Third of all you wait for hours to get seen even if you have a appointment. And lastly YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED to entered the room with your child for X-rays!!! I was seen staff tell mothers who had small children 3-10 age range by a male that the child could only enter. When I asked the RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL clerk that looked annoyed as soon as I got there. She stated it was the office policies. There is NO WAY a mother is going to feel comfortable like myself to allow my 4 year old to go to a back room with a MALE or even FEMALE. Other dentist office allows the parents to stand by the door. Places like this should NOT be in business. Never again will an enter this place.
Virginia - I am sorry you feel this way. We did have a receptionist who was not providing the best service and she is no longer with us. As for our confirmations of appointments, we provide multiple. At the time we make the appointment we give all parents a card with the appointment date, then we call 7 days, 3 days and 1 day out. In addition, we have texts that go out. Unfortunately, many parents change their numbers or accidentally block our numbers. We generally do leave a vmail, so we are sorry if you didn't get one. As you will also see in our reviews, we have many HAPPY Patients/ Parents who have been coming to us for years. If you'd like to discuss coming back, please ask for Mike and he would be glad to address any of your concerns! We really try to give the best service to the kids as possible, even given the many demands we have from so many in our community. Our apologies for any inconvenience or service issues. The receptionists were TERRIBLE!! When I asked how much longer, they told me I was next, and the woman was even angry… They let other people who arrived after me in first, leaving me at the end. I waited an hour and 10 minutes to be seen. Mind you, my appointment was at 12:00 pm and I arrived at 11:40 am. They make you wait a long time for what they do—just brush your teeth and give you a toy, and that's it! I'm looking for a new Destina because I definitely DO NOT recommend this one, and besides, they don't even let you go inside with your children to see what's going on!

The worst part They told me they would extract my daughter's teeth and try to save the others, but they didn't just extract them; they put crowns on almost all of her teeth when they said it was only two. Now she's traumatized. I changed doctors, and he said it was a procedure that had to be done in two parts and that they did too much. I regret going there. It's worth mentioning that they also said my son had cavities and that they would put crowns on him, and they did it on almost everyone. They just want to charge, and even if they don't need it, they do it.
Ana - so sorry to hear about your daughter’s experience. I can say that we see thousands of kids every year and take the absolute best care of them! Some patients need a lot of restorative work. If the dentist provided the care to your child, then it was 100% necessary. It is shame when a child has so much that needs to be done, so we do our best to help them and educate the parents are how to best avoid this in the future! I do not recommend this place. They told me my daughter had 3 cavities (which was false) and they wouldn't even let me in with her to see the procedure. I asked for a second opinion from another dentist and she didn't have any cavities. It's been a year and a half since I changed her from this place and my daughter's teeth are in perfect condition, with no cavities or fillings. I waited to give a review to make sure there were no cavities. All they wanted to do here was charge a lot and do fillings that weren't needed!

I’d like to not giving any stars. Called in for appointment two days ahead and was told they’ll verify my insurance before my appointment. Arrived half hours earlier and waited for an hour and was told they tried to verify my insurance but no response. Excuse me??? Did you not verify it before my appointment? Another half hour passed, I called the insurance myself and someone answered and verified in just 10 minutes. Don’t know why they spent an hour and I just did it in 10 mins. Finally the lady in the front desk told me all dentists here are out of network with my insurance, well so why you all list on Guardian PPO website, remove all your dentists please and don’t waste people times! I have been waiting for almost two hours and even not talking to the dentist. That’s ridiculous. This place is good for kids but not the way they treat adults!

Their wait time is ridiculous! I was there 10 minutes before my appointment which was at 1pm the girls in the front were eating whataburger just talking and laughing didn’t even acknowledge that I was checking in. At 1:20 I noticed finally someone grabbing the sign in sheet, I had asked at 1:30 about how much longer for them to start on my children’s X-rays, and she said 30 more minutes as there was another family of three in front on my children. I will be definitely looking for another dentist. This is not the first time this has happened I stayed because I don’t like changing dentist/Dr’s for my kids but I will do so. This practice needs to manage their schedule!

Imagine waiting 3 hours for a cleaning. After being a patient for over 4 years, we will be finding a new dental office. The service has declined and for some odd reason—every 6 months this office discovers new dental work that needs to be done. I guess that’s what we get for using military benefits. Definitely getting a second opinion elsewhere — a dental office that doesn’t make a child wait THREE HOURS for a regularly scheduled visit. They even suggested to schedule for the morning the next time “when it’s less busy”. Noon isn’t early?

100% for families. As a single adult I did not enjoy my experience but only because this is such a family-friendly place. Lots of things for kids in the waiting room and incredibly friendly people. It’s a great place, friendly staff, great games for the kids to play. The only issue I have is the wait time. We wait to get call to the back two hours after the scheduled appointment. I’ve been here a handful of times and every time we feel very welcomed! The young ladies at the front desk are always very helpful and polite with the questions I have. All the games they have keep the kids entertained and happy, and their restrooms are very clean!! Definitely one of my favorite dental locations.

this dentist office does not allow parents to go back with your child. Even if your child insists for you to go back with them. They claim they don’t give any treatment that is not wanted. My child told me they were hurting her and she asked them to stop but they did not. Since i was not allowed back i have no option but to believe my child. I will be finding another dentist office that allows me to accompany my child. I would have sat there quietly if allowed. The receptionist and other staff didnt seem understanding to my worries with the visit. All I wanted to be back there for the safety of my child who was receiving anesthetics.

My son went into this place and I won’t bring him again my son almost died cause he wasn’t checked right we came in and didn’t know my son had a infection going on doctor checked him and he said he’s ok I don’t see any problem of course… my son was scared and also in pain doctor said we don’t even have a x ray machine to see what’s wrong here… this was past Thursday and also I ask him like this … so you are telling me that my son lip is swollen and is normal no infection…no antibiotics or pain medicine was given I ask for something … said my son was 6 and this was normal… we walked out there with my son lip big a fish lip and no infection according to the bright doctor … we waited a day Friday night I called a dentist in mexico video called them and on the video call they told me your son is got a big infection Saturday morning my son face was so big and he had he’s eye purple I screamed scared and went to emergency room with my son in pain the doctor in mexico found the issue on a picture a send them from my son front teeth and nerve was exposed this could been avoided by doing a good job… we spend 4 days in texas children my son was in strong antibiotics and also steroids cause the massive infection going into he’s eye i got pictures and also video proof of all this problem I don’t recommend bringing your child to this savages ?

If you come here be prepared with money, one day they tell you a price and on the day of the consultation, they tell you another and say that it is the insurance's fault and they make you sign a contract but then they tell you that it was not a contract that it was only an estimate, the truth is they make you think, then my daughter comes in that they are going to do some extractions and she comes out and the nurse tells me that she is fine that they did the extractions, my daughter comes out anesthetized almost asleep I am almost getting home and then they call me that my daughter had not yet had the extractions and that there was a mistake with the patients, this is wrong, I only ask if they know what they are doing and even the manager with her sarcastic smile mocks me ..

Super nice girls that tell you you’ll be seen in 30 minutes to an hour because there’s a family of 6 ahead of you. Then two hours later you go ask who’s in front of you and they tell you it’s a family of 4 so wait about thirty more minutes. Nice people who lie and owners who are okay overbooking to charge Medicaid. I wouldn’t complain at all if it was free. I have to pay, so yes I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

I can confidently say every time I walk into that same door my experience is always nothing short of exceptional. I also want to point out the same three people that have been taken care of my teeth for almost 4 years! Lupe, Tony and my amazing doctor, I am not a fan of getting things done to my teeth, but they always make it a very smooth and enjoyable experience!! If you truly love your kids, please don't bring them here. Everyone gets pumped Dental Nitrous Oxide of course for the pleasure of the Dr. Even for cleaning they give your kids Dental Nitrous Oxide. They don't want to deal with these kid's fear so they just give them all Dental Nitrous Oxide. They make everyone sign the disclosure knowing half these people don't even know what it is. 2nd ABSOLUTELY NO PARENTS ARE ALLOWED TO BE WITH THEY'RE KIDS DURING TREATMENT! they'll try to convince you that it's better for the child that your not there but in reality it's just better for the Dr! Why go here when you can go down the street to any other dentist that allows you to comfort your child during treatment. 3rd

Communication is horrible, and there is no organization what so ever in the office. If you don't stay on top of things yourself they will have you missing appointments and wasting gas. The staff is not knowledgeable on procedures and times and they always have an excuse. Will not be returning. Also they are over priced if you are cash pay. Definitely unsatisfied.

When I first started coming here for braces the Maribel was in charge of speaking and answering questions for the braces. Soon after they now have Anna, the new receptionist for braces. Now, I just avoid asking her questions. Each time I have spoken to her I get attitude from her. I choose not to be rude to her because it’s not right. If she doesn’t like her job or dealing with questions from customers why are you in customer service. I just don’t like her attitude. Getting to our appointment today, my daughter said as we are signing in, I think that’s all we need. I whispered to her, I need to ask her a question. The receptionist finally took a second to look over at us. Didn’t greet us or even smile. She said how can I help you in a not so nice tone of voice. I said I have a question about her braces. She said you gave to ask the doctor. I said okay thank you. She gave me a smile that looked like it was forced out.

They don't respect appointments, they take up to two hours to see you, there are too many people for the same time slot, the room is packed and there's nowhere to sit! The volume in the movie theater is ridiculously loud; you can't hear when they call your name.

My father went to the dentist to remove some teeth. After removing the teeth, the doctor placed some things in my father's mouth saying it would prevent infections... It was all a scam. I have multiple friends and family who are dentists and they had never heard such a thing. Overall they ended up running the bill on my father for no reason. Sad to see this world become a cruel place over a couple hundred bucks.

This place is completely unorganized and rude. I came across this place via my insurance and reached out to them there. They called me back and set up an appointment a month later. I had my number switched, which I explained to them, when they had left a voicemail confirming my appointment the day right before the appointment. I called back within 5 minutes and did not get a response. They called the next day, day of appointment to cancel it and rescheduled me for the next week. I received two texts with different time slots for the appointment but assumed the most recent text was up to date and correct. I went with that in mind and was told I was late for my appointment and that they would have to reschedule me. I asked and showed about the texts and without much explanation the lady said that they don’t send out texts at all. Then I had asked for the weekend cause I have work and they said they’re open all day next Saturday and I asked for the times and she said all day and I had to clarify myself and ask what’s the earliest time. We confirmed for Saturday at 11:00am when I get a text on Monday that my appointment is on a Thursday. I texted both numbers that claimed to be Aquario Dental and recover no response. Emailed both Aquario Dental offices and still didn’t hear a response. I had to call twice to get someone to cancel my appointment, which somehow they had noted as an appointment for braces. Unless your a previous patient and know who to talk to, I do not recommend this place to anyone with their lack of clear communication and professionalism.
Aquario Dental apologizes for the inconvenience. In the recent month we have switched to new management. The new manager just started using a patient communication system that sends text messages. Our policy is to always take patients for their appointments even if they were late. We take walk-in's all the way up until our final appointment time any day as long as the patient is will to wait their turn.

Horrible. I’ve had an appointment schedule for my son’s surgery since the 1st week of July. They had to cancel his appt due to technical difficulties at the office; which is understandable. However, it’s September 8th and I’ve been calling to re-schedule his surgery for weeks on end and NO ONE can get in contact with me to get this taken care of!! Every time I call, they’re quick to transfer me to Eileen, who is over the “surgery” department and she NEVER answers the phone!!!! I have left 3 voicemails and still NO returned calls!!!! Their customer service towards patients is horrible!! No sense of urgency in returning calls. It’s not my fault they had technical difficulties on the day of his appointed surgery date!!!!! And now I’m trying to get this taken care of and I cannot seem to get ANYONE to schedule him again!!!!!!! Will not recommend this place to anyone!!!!!!!
We do apologize. Currently with the recent spike in Covid cases all of our offices are with limited team members including our surgery coordinator. You can call 832-660-2129 so we can get this resolved if you don’t mind.

This place deserves 0 stars but I have to give a star to leave a review. I called in to work to take my daughter for an emergency visit, meaning I was already not starting the day off right. I left home with no mask because I was already rushing to get my kid help. I went in to the office and the receptionist stated I needed a mask. I was okay with that, I UNDERSTAND the rules and didnt have a problem with wearing my mask. I proceeded to tell the girl that my kids didnt bring one and asked if I could have one. Her response was no we dont have any. I said wait this is a dental place and should have extra mask. Can I please have 2 mask, my kid needs to be seen. She repeated no we dont have any. So I decided they did NOT need my business and left.

I provided my Information for the first appointment, when I arrived I was told that they didn't have my Information and no appointment was scheduled. So I was scheduled for an appointment two weeks later. On the day of the appointment Saturday I was told that they couldn't verify my insurance the day before and my insurance was closed on the weekend. They had to reschedule my grandson again. Never again will I go back. This office is not organized. They should of called me the day prior and not on the day of the appointment.

As a teenager, I usually hate going to the dentist however, the staff at Aquario Dental made it bearable for me. I actually got quite a bit of laughter out of the staff and I kept a smile on my face the entire time. I can’t wait until I’m due back for a visit.

My daughter has a temporary filling that should of been taken care of in less than 2 weeks, over a month later I had to call for an appointment because they obviously don't follow up after sending you to endodontist, got an appointment a week later just to be told once I got there that they have to verify insurance and would take another week, again I had to call them back after that week and got another appointment for almost another week to be left a voice-mail that I had to call to reschedule!!?but if her temporary filling falls off what then? Just go vack to endodontist and have them take care of it and make another appointment once done?? Are these people trained or went to 6month classes because they must think i work around their schedule, and mind you the endodontist is not close by!! Do better in scheduling!!! Not just tons of 3 month yr olds just for the medicaid!

This dental office feels like home from the staff, to the way they start conversations they actually want to have and the patience from beginning to end. I love this for all families with little ones there is a Taco Bell across the street if anyone is hungry and the movies from their Disney+ is played in the appointment chairs and waiting area. 5 stars for everyone and everything about my visit :) Chantel and Edgar make our visits feel like a visit to a family members home I don't feel rushed or uncomfortable at all.

They schedule my daughter at 11am & they have you wait in the car for more than 30 minutes & you still have to wait longer inside & with toddlers is very hard they don’t know what’s going on they get so fussy & impatient! Giving one star because it won't let you chose 0. Do not go here if you are in pain. They do not care. My husband has been in serious pain for a week and they refuse to give him anything to help. They told him to take 2 Tylenol and 2 Advil together. When that didn't work, they called in a stronger antibiotic. Nothing at all for his pain. Not even tramadol. I know there is an opioid epidemic but to let your patient suffer for over a week is horrible and just shows they do not care. He cannot work and just has to suffer until he can get in to see an endodontist.
We do apologize for not being able to help more. What they prescribed him is the standard of care and Dentist no longer have the ability to prescribe any type of pain medication that is not over the counter. Hope your husband was able to see the Endodontist.

The actual work is fast and great!. The wait time is terrible. Appointment was for 11:30am. Xray started at 12:15pm and took 5 min. Then wait until 12:35pm for checkup. Checkup took 5 min. Then wait until 1pm for Dentist. Fix one tooth and cleaning took 20 min. 30 min job took almost 2 hours. Something is happening there because last time I was there, the wait time was not so bad. I hope they can staff up because the place is close to my house and big enough for more people to work there.

Really quick, friendly staff, clean facility, every visit they provide my son with a new tooth brush, some tooth paste and a toy plush. During the time of hurricane Harvey they gave out $10 Walmart gift cards to patients who needed it. Aquario Dental is the only place where I can trust them to take care of my son without any concerns. I always want to be next to him to oversee every procedure, but with the last visit I did not hesitate to let my toddler son go do a procedure without me there. They accept medicaid and chip.

We had an appointment earlier this month that we had to reschedule for a check up for my son because they had too many patients in their lobby & we didn't have time to wait hours. They seem to overbook patients. When we went today we we're called quickly, seen quickly for exam but to clean his teeth & provide treatments they want to take your child to the back without you with them (really creepy in my book). They allowed me to go today because I didn't provide another option. When checking out they informed me that I would not be allowed to go to the back at future appointments ( Seriously, what parent allows their child to have procedures done on them without a parent present). I recall a child passing away after dental procedures recently (not at this dentist), but I will be present if you are doing anything to my child. They do give the kids a nice goodie bag after visits with a spin brush & they are very nice. My son doesn't have cavities so we really haven't had any procedures done there so I can't speak to their quality of dental procedures. They cleaned his teeth today & he let them with me there. They do have a nice waiting area that is child friendly with a movie theater area to entertain children during long waits & they have tv's on the ceiling in the procedure room to distract children during procedures.

This office is just nice from outside other than that everything is dirty... double check on the dental utensils... OMG debris all around the mirror. When the doctor started checking my boys teeth my husband asked her is that (mirror) dirty and she was like ohhh no I didn't check that.... speechless she just checked him with her hands....Waiting for the other dentist the assistant brought 4 packs tools....i looked and they were all dirty I told her these tools are dirty and she said ohhh this are not for him...Jesus Christ! Not coming here again that is for sure.. letting all this moms know I double check if yall go here. Kids can get sick with this. To put it simply, this office is awful...very clean on the outside, but the instruments, oh my God, are filthy. My husband asked the doctor when she started examining my child if what she was using was dirty, and she said she hadn't seen it. Then the assistant started preparing the room while we were still there, meaning they don't clean after each patient. This is terrible. According to OSHA, you're supposed to clean before and after each patient. And she's still bringing in other equally dirty packages. Please, mothers, check where you take your children. This can cause them to get sick.
