DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS PLACE!!! The PURE RUDENESS of the staff here is unbelievable. I have had better service at the DMV! I do not know if they realize that they are in a customer service based business but they lack ZERO communication skills! If this review saves someone from having to put up with entitled, rude and disrespectful service, then this is worth it. My experience as a PAYING/INSURED customer was so bad, that I don’t even want to drive by this place. Google needs a NEGATIVE STARS review because one star is too much for these people. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE WORST CANCER!!

My child had an appointment today(8-13-25) at 1:30pm, but when we arrived, both doors were locked. According to Google, the business is listed as open Tuesday–Saturday from 10am–6pm, so this was unexpected. It’s disappointing that there was no notice or communication that the office would be closed today, especially when we had a scheduled appointment. Very unprofessional.

Very clean office. My toddler loves how there's arcade games and a little cinema, always showing great movies!!! The staff is kind ? no kind of rude vibes, not even a little, lol. That's always good! We love it here. The dentist is great, kind also, he's quick in what he does and my toddler didn't put up a fight with him? Update from last time: 8/09/2025: The office cleaned my eldest teeth and gifted her a backpack of school supplies after. Too kind!

Kind service is useless if you make people wait two hours or more to start the X-rays. Today I had an appointment for my children at 12:30. I arrived at 12:15 to have time to fill out the required forms, and it wasn't until 1:37 that they called me to send me the text so I could do it from my phone. Then they started calling at 2:10 pm for the X-rays. This is outrageous! ? It shows a lack of consideration for people's time. There were many desperate children. What angers me most is that I had another appointment at 3 pm, and I requested it. I work and try to organize my time for appointments.

Wouldn’t recommend even if it was your last option 45mins - hour waiting to be called with an appointment (if your even called ) you won’t be seen at your appointment time but plenty of others will even if you cancel the appointment because of the wait you will still receive automatic messages asking for a rating for the visit as if you went to the appointment ( not sure if insurance is still being charged for the visit ) 10/10 highly wouldn’t recommend

The doctor will say one thing in the treatment plan and then do a completely different procedure. I don’t understand how this place can get five stars, but the location is convenient for me.

As a existing patient I will probably never ever come back to this dentist again. I had been going there since my son was 15 months old and rarely ever had issues with this place, I would go in and be out within 30 minutes. On 03/25 I go in for my son’s appointment which was at 3pm. Walking in there’s absolutely no where to sit but the movie section which is mainly for kids. I sit and wait 40 minutes then I get up and ask the lady how much longer since his appointment was 40 minutes ago she tells me she has no idea, that the people waiting are new patients and there’s only one dentist, Meanwhile their waiting room is full of people and there’s one dentist. I just think her mentioning new patients was weird as if they put their new patients above their existing patients. I don’t understand how they booked plenty of people for the time slot between 3-4pm and there was only one dentist. She asked for my sons name and said she would go check how much longer, I let 10 minutes go by and she had not moved from sitting in that chair. I had to leave before my son could even get checked and have those 40 minutes of my time wasted. I will have to look for a different dentist because I absolutely won’t be back.

Terrible service, plus a 2-hour wait, and they never called my son who had an appointment… People would arrive after us and they would see them first. I never understood why the last ones come in first. The truth is, it's one of the worst clinics in the city. I visited this clinic twice. The first time we spent almost 4 hours for my son's routine visit. This time we spent 2 hours just waiting, but we decided to come because there are better options and the service isn't free to wait that long. The first time we spent 4 hours, but we weren't going to return this second time. However, they want to fix this terrible service they provide by giving children toys and candy and giving parents a gift card for the hours of waiting so that one would come back again. Because they know the terrible service they provide, they really should use that resource to provide good, fast service.

I changed my son's dentist because this clinic was closer to my house, mistake they take more than 1 hour to attend to you, that's supposedly why you have an appointment at a specific time, nobody wants to be waiting so long, I asked and they said he would come in 5 minutes, I waited for 10 more minutes and they didn't call him, I left there without them attending to my son, there were so many people that there wasn't even room to sit, another thing is that my son is 4 years old and has to go in alone, I'm not sure if they do the cleaning well, I will definitely change dentists for my 2 children

We have had several clinical staff members out with the flu recently, which likely caused the back-up in time. Dentist visit was quick but the wait time to get in was 1 hr 20 min wait besides it sounded like a recreational park inside kids screaming loud & running like crazy you should only allow patients to be in wait area. Two different families in there with 4 to 5 children under 5 years old I almost left our 1st time being that was bit excessive for me the administration clerks were great dentist was great but waiting lobby was horrible.

Front office is great , i use to love taking my kids here up until yesterday when i took my 3 kids and the dentist kept insisting that my 2 year old son needed to be sedated to get his teeth fixed , he needs to learn to respect if parents are not ready for that . The dental assistant said that he did not insist really like more than 2 or 3 times is insisting. Also during the dental cleaning on my older kids they were being ignored by the same assistant , wow very professional. Never returning .

I went about a months ago to have my two young daughters teeth checked, ages 4 and 6. One thing I disliked of this place is not being able to accompany them to the back while getting teeth checked. Once I was called to the back they were telling all that was wrong with my daughters teeth, but never showed me the x rays, but where suggesting certain jobs to be done on them. How do I know what needs to be done without the x rays. I need evidence. This is not Good with me and it shouldn't be okay with other parents.

By 12:45p , I saw two people that came in after me from the Hispanic culture leaving and I hadn’t even been called to do new patient paperwork. I'm so happy to have moved my three children to this dentist. Besides the kindness of the girls across the street, they treated them with a lot of patience and dedication during the x-rays! My son Chikito is 4, and they were able to take his photos without any problems. The dentist has a waiting room with games and a mini-theater for the children while they wait to be seen. The doctor who treated them was very kind and patient with them! I'm happy with the new dental doc and office.

The facility was nice seeing as how it's relatively new that was kind of expected. What wasn't expected at least for me is that parents aren't allowed to accompany their minor children to the back during x-rays and actual dental/medical procedures. For me that was just cause for concern not sure if that's the norm but I will never be comfortable allowing my 3 or 6 year old to not have me around while they get a tooth removed or anything of the sort barring a major medical emergency in an OR. So just an fyi you will not be able to see what's being done to your child while in this facility. With that being said plenty of the parents seemed ok with it.

They truly care about their patients! I’ve had nothing but phenomenal care for my children at the dental office. The staff is incredibly kind & respectful. They answer any & all questions you may have. My kids love that they have a variety of activities they can do while they wait. I wish I could give 0 I paid out of pocket $50 they said it was promotion for a poor service for my son's teeth cleaning. He has stains that can be removed but they did the 1st try cleaning in around 5mns or less. I had to complain for them to try and tell me they cannot do more than that. What do you call cleaning then? Im disappointed.

They draw you in with the arcade games in-front but they are not equipped to deal with children or special needs..the assistant doesn’t really assist you would think they didnt specialize specifically in pediatric dentistry.. they had me lay my child in the dentist lap in order to examine her teeth very inappropriate get a table or chair that is suitable for children.. he was not very informative i had to ask multiple questions and the answers were very vague.. they proceeded to rub things on to my babies teeth with out asking or informing me on what it was they were applying..when it came to my son it was pretty hard because he is autistic in which i had already put in the paper and i formed staff my som constantly clinched his tooth and the dentist proceeded to pry underneath with the mirror and it shattered in his mouth he showed no care or concern didn’t flush his mouth out didn’t seem worried at all at that point i wiped ot out and got his mouth open on my own and walked out spent the rest of my day at urgent care.. swallowing glass shards can be harmful/f fatal.. he asked me after had i looked into special needs dental sir if you couldn’t handle or accommodate special needs you should have said so when it was mentioned.. this dental office doesn’t care and is very negligent i wouldnt take my dog here let alone a small child or child with special needs.. and the office staff gave me a false name when i called in for information on the dentist.. i called twice and got two very different names.. will be reporting to the dental board of houston asap.. bc where id the water and sucker.. why wasn’t there a place to lay my child other than his lap.. there are mouth guard/blocks to put in to keep a small childs mouth open when am i having to wrestle my child alone to make sure he hasn’t ingested glass!!!!!!!!! Omg worst experience of my life and worst pediatric dentist! Take your kids else where..on top of that they were trying to keep me from going back with him smh.. had to fight in order to have his dad go back with him.. he is only 6 ..

I called and made my son a new patient appointment they didn’t ask what I was coming in for so I asked do you need to know what my son is coming in for they said yeah you can tell me I said tooth pain. She said she put it in his chart when I got there and my son got called back they said I couldn’t got back there with my FOUR YEAR OLD SON!! They said it was a policy and they wouldn’t see my son unless he went back there by himself. So why didn’t they tell me that was a policy when I scheduled my new patient appointment? And they told me I couldn’t go back there for my son’s cleaning. Okay so if you looked at my sons chart you would see he was there for tooth pain if they lady who scheduled the appointment even really put that in his chart. And they still said I couldn’t go like they expect and FOUR year old to tell them what’s going on with his teeth. This place is ridiculous and I find it very suspicious that even a FOUR year old has to go back without a parent. I will never go back or even recommend this place to anyone and if I could give zero stars I would.

I find this discriminatory since they claim to treat children and young people. If your child has a disability, don't take them to this place; they'll likely turn them away.

Aquario Dental and Braces is one of the best dental office I’ve been to. I was original schedule at the downtown location but when to the one on little York and they took my son the same day with no problem. My son love that they have the free games to play and the set up and staff is very nice here. We enjoy that they have a nice little theater set up to watch movies as well.

I must say this is the best dentist my kids have been to. It’s all about the kids. Game room, movie theater and they are so welcoming. I usually have a hard time with my kids and the dentist but the set up they have for them make them comfortable so they not think about getting their teeth cleaned and I usually don’t leave reviews but I had to. Staff is Nice .suck as Jessica Lara and others , I Rlly loved it ? waiting room is Fire ? Good distraction for the kids while they wait . So they wont be fussy and stuff . And at the end the give them a bag of toys ?with toothbrush and stuff . I really recommend it to everyone. The kids do go in by themselves unless they start crying the call in a parent but that helps for the kids to built up confidence and independence within themselves. ❤️

When I leave a review to a place is never to put that place down but to express my experience. To be transparent because I know a lot of people rely on reviews just like myself, and to be honest I had a horrible experience. My daughter got fillings and ever since she got her fillings she started complaining about sensitivity to cold beverages. She can’t even drink water without her having pain in her back molar. So we went back to see what was wrong after 2 weeks of her fillings and the dentist commented that basically her cavity was too deep and had to dig in a lot to fill it up and he hit some of her molar nerves and he told me he can apply a crown but to be honest I didn’t feel comfortable, him doing more job to my child’s teeth. I’m sorry for the review but it’s my honest experience.

Dirty and smelly, and the staff was terrible. They "gave" my daughter a toothbrush, and it was the same one they used to brush their own teeth. They just put it in a bag, wet and still with toothpaste on it... Horrible experience
