This is my second implant with Dr. Anver Anver. Dr. Anver is excellent. He and his team really make the process very easy and seamless. The office is professional friendly and helpful. The nurses are on point at all times. I really enjoy the services they provide. We had our child’s wisdom teeth removed there and they did an excellent job keeping her comfortable and at ease. Dr. Anver is very pleasant easy to work with and a true professional. He does an amazing job.. I highly recommend his work. He’s definitely the best!

My son had many moving parts to his surgery and the instructions were extensive but necessary. We followed the instructions and we rotated the suggested pain relievers but never had any pain whatsoever within the 7 days of recovery. I chose to stay awake and was not disappointed. I felt no pain and was surprised when they said they were done. My insurance won’t pay for implants, so I saved $600. A slight headache and tenderness under my nose is the only pain I had when I got home. Good job Dr. Anver.

This is probably the best oral surgery practice that I have ever stepped foot into. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Dr. Fortney is the best ever!! They gave excellent information before, during and after the procedure and sent me home with a “ care kit” I have had no bleeding and very little swelling. I don’t even need the pain pills. I was in trouble, overnight my broken tooth became infected and when I woke in the morning I had a huge abscess on my jaw the size of my fist. Luckily my daughter called Texas Center for Oral Surgery! Not only did they fit me in Immediately but performed surgery at 2pm! Wow, I have NEVER been so impressed with a dental practice. The place is literally spotless, modern and yet feels very comfortable. The front desk person was personable and efficient. I waited like 1 minute and was taken back by Brittany. She did a complete medical workup on me - very thorough and, at the same time, friendly, personable. The doctor came in and Dr. Loh is totally amazing. I felt like I was talking to an old friend. He gave me great detail on what, why things needed to be done. He gave me all sorts of options. A totally nice professional person. Finally, Kelly came in and gave me the cost for an implant. She had all the paperwork lined up, in a nice folder and she was very nice as well. They took a CT to ensure that the doctor had the best pictures of my teeth. Again, a fabulous machine and I saw the detail it provided (even though I didn't understand most of it, it was impressive). I can't imagine any place better to get an implant. If I end up deciding to do it, I will do it here. Totally recommend - an extremely positive esperience.

I actually visited two different offices of the Texas Center of Oral Surgery & Dental Implants. I needed an extraction of a back tooth, but was not sure about getting an implant. I am still not; I was actually nervous about the extraction. The staff was very warm and kind at both offices; they made me feel comfortable about the process. Dr. Anver makes the procedure even less daunting with his professionalism and friendliness. This gave me more confidence in getting it done with no pressure to make uncomfortable decisions in the moment. In my case the procedure and even the healing was completely painless. Super pleasant team. Timely appointment. Visited with his technician Ann prior to the start of the procedure. I knew Ann from w-a-y back and that was so delightful and definitely lessened my anxiety. A familiar pleasant face is certainly worth its weight in gold. Now the day after following directions and keeping medication on tract, I’m doing house chores, fixing foods, walking my dog and snacking carrots to a neighbor’s goats. Scrambled eggs, cooked beets, fresh orange sections, a sliced huge strawberry, and toast rounded me this morning. Then took my required medications and rinsed my Mouth with that ‘yummy’ Peridex. That was 2 hours ago. So far so good. Thanks to a great dental team and my ‘at home Family’. I did as promised and rested. Will tackle my Pilates class this early afternoon. That should go well. Appreciate a coordinated dental team and the skilled Dr. Anver.

The surgery was for the removal of two teeth and the beginning placement of implants for teeth previously removed. being removed for future implants.. I was guided for all steps - pre-op, post-op, and recovery. The surgery went well and during post-op I was again given guidance as to what to do and what not to do. My experience at the Texas Center for Oral Surgery & Dental Implants was every bit as good as I could have hoped for. Dr. Loh did a great job explaining what would happen with the extraction of my tooth, and the recovery afterward. The whole staff was extremely friendly from my arrival for a consultation, the exam, explanation of options for anesthesia, pricing, and scheduling, to the morning of the actual surgery, including preparation, 'lights out', and moments later just walking out the door. The surgery was four days ago and I'm still wondering if there will be any real pain (I think I'm in the clear!). The doctor's advice to keep ahead of the pain, using nothing more than Ibuprofen and Tylenol, worked perfectly. Stronger stuff was available if I needed it, but I didn't. I'm not saying the recovery is fun, because you have to be careful of what you eat and drink for several days, but it's been less traumatic than a mild tooth ache. Thanks Dr. Loh, and your whole team!

TLDR: I got my wisdom teeth removed and I had a great experience with Dr. Anver, Patricia, and the remaining oral surgery team. As someone who was deeply terrified of this whole experience, I am very grateful I was able to get my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Anver. Long version: I was referred to Texas Center for Oral Surgery after my dentist noticed my bottom wisdom tooth was dangerously close to a major nerve. During my consultation, Dr. Anver noted that there was a very small possibility of nerve damage given the placement of the tooth. However, he ensured that he would do his best to protect the nerve. The surgery itself went very well (or so I’m told- I slept throughout it). This was the most nerve-wracking part for me and Patricia was extremely kind and patient when answering all my questions immediately pre- and post-op. I am grateful to her for easing my nerves. Dr. Anver also took the time to walk me through the procedure both visually and verbally with regard to my nerve. The night following my surgery, Dr. Anver called with his personal cell to check in. I reached out to Dr. Anver again two days post-op (which was a Friday night) due to some minor bleeding and he responded immediately. Four days post-op my stitches bled and again, I contacted Dr. Anver who was SO kind despite me calling him at 10pm on a Sunday. (I do feel really bad about this). He scheduled me for a follow up appointment the following day at 7:45am and assured me that my mouth was healing well. I am now 7 days post-op and feeling good. I never experienced swelling nor bruising, which I believe speaks to the care Dr. Anver takes. My pain level never exceeded a 1-2. I also did not experience any nerve damage despite the fact that my tooth was “brushing up against the nerve” prior to extraction. I cannot recommend Dr. Anver and Texas Center for Oral Surgery enough!!

Listen...Dr. Loh did an Aaaamazing job. Almost too good...I made an appointment for my husband to have 3 teeth removed, so I was expecting to have at least a couple of days of some quiet around the house thinking he would be sleeping mostly..nope literally a few hours after the surgery my husband was alert, not in any pain and ready to talk (so much for my quiet time). I had to convince him to take all of the antibiotic prescribed just as a precaution. I don't think he ever experienced any pain and I'm not sure if he even took any of the pain medication that was also prescribed. The entire process went smoothly from the front desk, setting up the appointments and the nurses were extremely sweet. Dr Loh even called later that evening to see how he was doing. Definitely a great place to go if you need any oral dental work done.

LIFESAVER! We ran into Lindsay last night, we spoke about my husband's abcessed tooth that had his face swollen, he was having terrible pain. And she tells us that she works for an amazing oral surgeon and gave us the info. Dr. Fortney perfomed my wisdom teeth extraction and coronectomy which was a bit complicated case. But she took the right call at each step and did the procedure really well. Also she did post-op follow up calls to make sure I am doing well. Overall it was great experience from Doctor and the team.

Hello I wanted to share what to expect if you are looking for oral surgery from the start when you walk into the office you be greeted by friendly staff and a nice clean waiting area . Dr. Loh will explain in detail during the consultation what needs to happen in my case I had a couple options. Dr. Loh is very professional and he has a great personality and I like his sense of humor. I feel like he is a good human being and trustworthy. These are qualities that are important to me. I want to mention the nurses or dental assistants are terrific at what they do. During the surgery Dr Loh would let me know what he was doing and what I may be hearing during the surgery .I personally liked being informed and his assistant would also explain as the process progressed they made a good team. My surgery went smoothly and Dr. Loh called me to check up on me and that was really nice we talked a little and I could tell he is the real deal .On a special note you will get a text or email with a link and I thought it was cool it’s a video of Dr. Loh going over the instructions that you received and I really liked that. I highly recommend Dr.Loh and his staff .

The whole procedure took about 25 min and my pain when the numbing wore off was minimal and only lasted the first night. I’m now 5 days post opp and no pain whatsoever other than the first day. The dentist was very kind and patient, explained everything in detail and answered any questions I had, the assistant Lindsey that came to give me the price sheet I feel could have done a little better, she didn’t include everything that needs to be done in the price sheet according to the dentist and what he explained need to be done, therefore I have no idea of how much I’m going spend in total, for my dental work, also the price sheet was not very clear, in terms of a breakdown of what my insurance is going to cover, just the amount I have to pay. I wish she could have given me a better breakdown of my expenses and everything I have to pay for the whole dental work, like the dentist explained.

What can I say?? We were referred to oral surgery to get a spot in my son's jaw looked at a little closer. As someone who works in surgery, im not going to lie I was a little nervous. The ease of the paperwork and setting up his appointment was great. Working with different surgeon's daily you really pay attention to bedside manner and patient interaction. Melisa was awesome my son said this were the easiest x rays he's ever been through and explained what he needed to do very well. She made us feel comfortable as we waited to see and hear from Dr. Loh which wasn't a long wait at all. I must say Dr. Loh was Awesome!!! He is super professional, easy to talk to and gave an action plan that was easy to understand and took his time to answer the questions we had and we didn't feel rushed at all. He is so nice and we will definitely be back for my son's wisdom teeth removal as we saw this bad boys will need to be out sometime in this coming year or so. When that time comes that almost hour drive to Denton will be worth it.

I tell you what. A little over a week ago I had a wisdom tooth that was banging to get out of my head and the pain was unreal. Got into a consultation with Dr Loh and his staff a couple days later, got scheduled to yank my wisdom tooth soon after and barely a week later I'm feeling good. Genuinely saw the reviews and that's what made me choose Dr Loh and I honestly was not disappointed. For being in my 40's and needing two wisdom teeth removed it was incredibly incredibly easy and the staff was nice on top of it. Not one bad thing to say at all. Dr Loh and everyone at his Denton office are professional but friendly in everything they do. My molar tooth extraction plus my nervousness really put Dr Loh’s skills to the test. I felt so safe I elected for numbing rather than sedation. This resulted bleeding, for a couple of hours, no swelling or bruising. Dr. Anver and his team all did such an incredible job with my single tooth implant surgery! I trusted them completely from the first consultation, they are so kind. Dr. Anver also saw in my X-rays that one of my wisdom teeth was growing in slanted, he recommended not pulling it out since it was tangled up in my nerves but to shave off the part of the tooth that was erupting from the bone. From that point on trusted him 100%. Surgery day went great! They prepare you with all the information you need for pre and post op. Dr. Anver even called a few hours after my surgery to tell me about how it went and to check in on my health. You won’t get better customer service anywhere else!

Dr Loh was amazing! I had a very complicated situation with my wisdom teeth and very worried about getting them extracted. 10 years ago I had a bad experience at a dentist and my face went numb for weeks. I had a lot of anxiety but Dr Loh eased my fears. Dr Loh is very skilled and was able to remove both wisdom teeth on my right side and I had zero numbness after the novacaine shots wore off. I was relieved and thrilled! And I was able to text and ask him questions. I rate him an 11 out of 10. 6 stars! He was/is very informative and professional. All of the staff at the Denton location are friendly and very nice. I also had an extraction done on a different date and I had the same experience from Dr Loh and all of the staff. I will be coming back for my implant soon! You could not be in better hands!

My son’s last phase of braces are going in soon, and he called our orthodontist, and explained the necessity to change the treatment plan for our son after his consultation, saving us money and the long term goal is to hopefully not have to undergo jaw surgery. Just went there today to get all four of my wisdom teeth removed. Had been having pain for a week and asked if they could fit me in sooner than my original appointment to get the removal done. They were able to squeeze me in and every single staff member was so kind. Dr. Anver even knew a lot about my autoimmune disorder and that was so comforting for me. I’m someone who has very high anxiety when it comes to dental work and I actually felt as ease here. All afternoon I've been telling my friends who still have wisdom teeth to choose this place when they get them removed because it was so quick and not really that painful at all. I have been coming here to the denton location for a damaged crown that I had. I first had an extraction done with a bone graft back in April and I just finished up with the actual implant itself. This has been the best experience I have had with an oral surgeon in my life. The staff and doctor are very professional and clear. There wasn't one time that I wasnt able to have my questions answered, not that I had many really because they are so informative. I received multiple calls and emails following up on my procedures, the doctor himself was even able to be reached very easily. Dr. Anver was very polite during my first visit and I felt to be in quite safe hands for my surgery. The nurses were polite and helpful in getting me prepped for the big day. The second time I went, I had a wild time, totally blacked out, lost some teeth. All in all, certainly an experience I wish I remembered. I did remember the number 3, I think my nurse was trying to challenge me to fight the sedative.

Long story short, I had a minor concern and some bleeding following surgery because my teeth were super deep in my gums. It was absolutely nothing they did, it was just my body being weird. My experience with Texas Center for Oral Surgery was perfect. I was so terribly nervous going in, because I had never experienced surgery before and in fact never really been to the doctor except for a physical here or there. I was terrified of being worked on, and being put to sleep, but Dr. Anvers, Jodi, and the rest of the crew (I wish I knew all their names) were so incredibly friendly, comforting, and professional that before I knew it, I was walking out of the door with 4 less wisdom teeth and absolutely no pain! It's been about a week now, and the healing is going smoothly, and again, I never experienced any pain or serious soreness. Also, if you are nervous about anesthesia, don't be- I promise it's one of the greatest things you'll ever experience.

I’m a pain-chicken and hate going to a dentist......even worse, an oral surgeon! Dr Anvers removed a cracked molar and replaced it with an implant. Throughout the entire time, I had no intolerable pain! Dr. Anvers sent me home with pain drugs, thank goodness......but I needed only one dose just after surgery.....that was the extent of pain! My biggest fear was terrible pain and swollen ness......but no swelling or pain. Staff was compassionate, efficient, and answered all my questions. They were great! Dr Anvers kept me informed of what to expect, and told me what options were available. I would recommend Dr Anvers with no hesitation! I’m so glad I met Dr Anvers and his staff. I will return if I need their services again.

Honestly if I could give more stars I most definitely would! From my consultation appointment all the way through my wisdom tooth extraction the process was so easy. Dr. Anver and all of the staff was amazing! Dr. Anver explained everything to me my first appointment and told me everything he'd do. All of the staff has been super friendly and efficient. I signed all of my consent to treat and paid the copay during my consultation to have less to do on the day of surgery. Dr. Anver sent all of my prescriptions to my pharmacy the day before my surgery, so I didn't have to worry about it the day of surgery. Dr. Anver has excellent bedside manner and even called me this evening to check on me. I hope I never need oral surgery again, but if I do Dr. Anver is the my go to surgeon.

Everyone went the extra mile to answer all my questions (and all my parents questions) about the procedure and anesthesia, medications, and recovery. The pre-procedure packet was super informative and helpful. The procedure itself was smooth sailing and super efficientl. I felt safe, cared for, and in the loop the whole time. Dr. Anver followed up after the procedure to make sure I was recovering well. All the support staff and reception are super friendly, competent, and organized. Covid-19 related: Doc and staff are all very careful with wearing masks and keeping small # of patients in the office. (I never saw more than 1 other patient) Great protocol, sparkling clean office.

My service was always on a time crunch because at the time I was 30 weeks pregnant and the usual cut off time for surgical procedures is at 32 weeks. I called to schedule a consultation that was supposed to take place about 2-3 weeks later but fortunately for me I was squeezed in after about 1 week. The staff was so very professional, very personable, and just all around very great energy. Dr. Anver is also the very best doctor (not even surgeon) but doctor I’ve ever had the pleasure of being a patient of. Because of my pregnancy I was only able to get numbed instead of put under but they made me very comfortable. Hours after the procedure, I received a personal phone call from Dr. Anver himself to check on me and I have NEVER had that happen before. Easily the best dental experience of my life. Not only was Dr. Anver friendly, professional, and highly skilled he also has a wonderful staff. I have an epic case of white coat syndrome especially with dentist, but Wendy, his assistant in my procedure, was fantastic at making me feel less anxious because of her sweet, funny, easy to talk to personality. I have horrible rolling weak awful veins, every time I’ve had an IV placed it’s taken so many attempts that the poor nurses feel terrible for what my arms look like. Dr. Anver was able to place it in one, completely painless, attempt. After the procedure, I was amazed at how little jaw pain I experienced. The first night I took a Motrin because of a tiny bit of soreness and that dispensed with the pain completely. And finally later that night after I got home I received a call from Dr. Anver checking on me to see how everything was going. That seems small, but it’s very comforting to me. I hate feeling like a person McNugget like most medical facilities make you feelp. And at no point in Dr. Anvers & Wendy’s care did I ever feel like anything but a completely heard, and understood, and cared for individual. I hope you never have to see an oral surgeon ,but if you do I cannot recommend Dr. Anver (and Wendy) enough.

I went in this afternoon in a lot of pain from a tooth extraction that needed finished and was able to get it completed and finally numbed up enough where I couldn't feel it. The ladies that worked there were very compassionate, telling me I was doing great and letting me squeeze a hand everytime I needed more numbing. Dr. Anver was very encouraging and my hero for finally getting that tooth out ?. The cost was good, and I would highly recommend this office if you ever need oral surgery.

The staff and the Dr. did a fantastic job not only helping my children feel comfortable and safe throughout the process but also did a very professional job of removing the teeth creating a faster less miserable recovery. This was my first visit to Vickers Dental and to see Dr Anver. I had been in excruciating pain for a week with 2 teeth that were beyond saving. I went in for a consult hoping they would get them out of my head. Dr. Anver was phenomenal. He spent so much time explaining what was needed and because I had been fasting, he agreed to do the extractions and bone grafts. I knew I would be in pain but also knew this pain would have an end in sight. Dr. Ambers must have the touch of an angel! 24 hours - No swelling and NO PAIN! I haven’t needed as much as a regular Tylenol. I slept like a baby all night. Just an all round phenomenal experience from every person I came in contact with!

Dr. Anver and his staff were very professional and friendly. I had to have an emergency Wisdom Tooth extraction due to an infection. I was referred to his office by my Dentist in Bridgeport on Monday morning and by early Monday afternoon I was pain-free. The procedure was clearly explained and Dr Anver and his staff made sure that I understood and was comfortable before and during the surgery. I felt immediate relief from a severely impacted Wisdom Tooth that needed attention immediately. I was very impressed with his concern about how I was feeling. I received a call at home that night making sure that I was doing well and asking if I had any questions or concerns. I cannot say enough praise about Dr. Anvers. I had multiple wisdom teeth removed and the entire process was a treat from start to finish. The staff is incredibly friendly, and Dr. Anvers himself is very personable and cares very deeply for his patients. They made sure I was comfortable and the procedure went sooo smoothly. Afterwards, Dr. Anvers personally reached out to me to ensure I was healing properly. At one point I'd left a late night message on the office line, content to wait for a response in the morning, and Dr. Anvers called me back that very same night. Excellent care, and even though I did give myself dry socket, I fully believe his care and expertise is what has prevented it from hurting AT ALL. 10/10 recommend, by far the best dental experience I've ever had (and after having brace for 6+ years, I've had many).

I was charged nearly $300 UP FRONT for services paid for 100% by my insurance. These clowns issue me a refund check (MONTHS later), then stopped payment on it after i deposited they check!!! WTF?? KIND OF SHADE TREE side show is this??? Why isn't there an option for ZERO stars?

This oral surgery office is fantastic! Both of my children had all four of their wisdom teeth removed on Monday and I cannot tell you how well they took care of them. The initial consultations were very informative. Dr. Anvers explained everything to me and my children. He was very professional and courteous. All of the office staff from the receptionist to the dental assistants were friendly and inviting. My daughter is afraid of needles and they explained the process of numbing the site first and that it would be quick and easy, thus putting her mind at ease. Dr. Anvers followed up with us that evening to see how they were doing. He took great precautions with my son who has leukemia. He contacted his oncologist to discuss the surgery and made sure not prescribe him something that would interact with his treatment medication. These people are a blessing! If you want a great experience from start to finish, this is where you want to be!

Had to get a tooth extracted and wasn't excited about it! I remember the feeling of getting a wisdom tooth taken out and that feeling of a tooth be removed is disgusting still can feel it today! I didn't tell Dr. Anver about my experience just said not excited about getting my tooth yanked out. He said we don't "Yank", I didn't go to school for 6 years just to Yank! So during the procedure I was waiting for that feeling and he said your just going to feel a little pressure so I was waiting and then he said okay I'm done! I was like what? He said he was done, Wow I felt nothing really what I was waiting for never came! So great Doc with great technique, highly recommend if you have to get this type of work done!

This place is great!! Who likes going to the dentist??? This guy does, because of the wonderful staff at Dr Vickers!! I had to get a tooth pulled.UGH!! I was in and out in literally 15 minutes. This was with the time getting a numbing shot. The shot wasn't like painful or anything. The extractions were done in like 5 minutes. No one likes getting teeth pulled, but it's nice when it doesn't hurt physically or financially. They are the tops.

i hated the numbing, but after that i was amazed at how fast he extracted my 3 teeth, i had a great experience, had no pain after numbing wore off, i followed his instructions and bleeding slowed in 24hrs. i would recommend him to anyone.

I was expecting a lot of pain and suffering after getting my wisdom teeth pulled out and cut on, but I'm happy to say that it was quite the opposite. Dr. Vickers and his staff were most definitely on point, from setting me at ease during surgery prep, to knocking me the hell out with their anesthesia, the experience overall was fantastic! I had my oral procedure done three days ago, other than the pressure from the swelling (which is expected), I have not experienced any severe pains from the procedure. I am surprised, as this was the opposite of the horror stories I was told leading up to the procedure from friends saying "Be prepared for about 10 days of pain." Please check this office out, they are good at what they do and you won't regret it.
