I could not be more pleased by having two of my wisdom teeth (my last two) extraction at this office by Dr. Dean. Highly recommended!! Since I had removed two of my wisdom teeth a few years ago at a different office - different city - and it was a very painful and horrible experience, I had point of reference and high expectations to remove my other two. I was terrified! From the beginning the doctors and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Dean was very kind, patient and thorough from the beginning of the process. Each step of the way he took his time and made sure I'm ready and comfortable before moving forward to the next step. Still to now, I'm not even sure how he injected the needles to numb my gum and I didn't feel a single needle. This is a terrifying process and I still find it amazing that I didn't feel a single needle in my gum. During the process Dr. Askari also paid a visit and followed up to make sure I was doing fine. As I'm writing this review, I just received another call from their office to check on me and make sure everything is well. I couldn't be happier with my experience!! THANK YOU!

This office & Dr. Askari are truly amazing! I've been going to the location practically my entire life but when she took it over, it completely changed. She is very caring about her patients, very personable, honest, & great company when you can't really speak, she can be entertaining! I loved going here so much, I made the long drive a few times after moving. The staff made cleanings relaxing, comfortable, & always spreading some teeth knwoledge. I recently had to take the plunge & find a dentist closer to home. the dentist I saw spent a good ten minutes admiring her work. especially with my fillings & color matches. just amazing! If I am ever around & it is time for some work or something happens, I will definitely be coming in here. This place is why I have no dentist office fears, it is also why it took me a long to find a new one. 15/10. recommended.

Thorough and great chair side manner

Ive gone to many dental offices but Dr. Askari I can say is one of the most caring and gentle dentists I've gone to she explain my treatment a put me at ease. I really love the staff.The dental assistant was very knowlegde and patient while taking my xrays that's one of my fears xrays but she is very gentle. I highly recommend Dental Care of Ventura.

My wife's cat kept aggressively torturing me overnight Sunday. Monday morning I went to the dentist for two fillings and a crown. The Dr gave me a numbing shot and provided a cunningly designed block to hold my teeth apart and set to work gently and thoughtfully. I quickly fell asleep. When I awoke the work was done and I went home. I recommend them highly if, like myself, you don't like pain.

It was one of the best dental office visits and routine cleaning I have experienced. My hygienist name was Andy. He was professional, highly skilled, and very very gentle. Andy cleaned my teeth without causing any pain! Dr. Tannaz Askari reassessed his work afterwords, which he easily passed for doing a superb job! I highly recommend Dr. Askari's office and Andy! Don't let yourself be fooled by the appearance outside the building. This is the place to be if you want quality dental care!

Amazingly awesome staff, fantastic results, phenomenally professional, and patiently helpful. I've had a lifelong history of nightmares with horrible dentists. I'll never go anywhere else and I just wish I found them sooner but I'm grateful to have found them at all. I recommend them to everybody as my first choice, whenever anyone ever asks. Literally, by word of mouth, and the ladies always have me leaving with a smile. These guys are the best! I wish I could give them 10 stars!

Dr Askari has been our family dentist for over 7 years. great dentist. we enjoy seeing her twice a year for our cleanings. Also had my teeth whitened a while back. Turned out great.

I called for emergency dental work. I got in about 2 hours later, filled out some paperwork and was immediately seen. The front desk was awesome. Dr. Askari and her assistant, Amanda, were a great team. Two hours after first entering, I had a temporary crown. Absolutely the best dental visit ever (except for the noise of the drilling!) Recommend this practice highly.

I’ve always been anxious about going to the dentist. But once I walk through the door, their peaceful demeanor calms my nerves. The staff is very well versed in their field. I enjoy that they don’t send me to other dental specialist. Instead the specialists come there on specific days and time. Their pricing is very reasonable for as a retiree I do not have insurance. Dr. Askari, you’re the best!

Tannaz is awesome, great facility and staff. They just got new non invasive equipment for the x-ray scans, which makes it faster and so much more comfortable.

I like her hygienist,Andre ,very good patient nice knows what he’s doing, her dental asst, Mercedes,& staff. Dr Askari has always been very fair on her prices & is honest, on what u need done etc. She is very professional, smart knows her work & very personable & sense of humor. As are her staffed employees. In terms of readily responding to much needed questions that have have been posed to you by me. For what otherwise has left us in the dark along the way of the practice there continuing to render my father treatment. The collaborative efforts from amongst you all there are second to none.

New X-ray machine showed a deep wisdom tooth with cavity. Would not have found this with old way of taking X-rays. I’m thankful for an up to date dentist.

First visit was last week. Very tentative and caring. I was ready for a dentist to give me a hard time about it being several years since my last visit (moved to the area from out of town) however I was met with professionalism, understanding, and compassion and also a glowing positive report! Wasn’t up sold on anything which speaks the integrity of the office. Looking forward this being my home dentist for the foreseeable future.

I have been a patient of Dr. Askari + team for the past 5 years and highly recommend her practice. Dr. Askari is friendly and it always a pleasure speaking with her. She always provides detailed information, explanations, and cost breakdown prior to doing any procedure. The rest of the team is just as amazing, always smiling and happy to see you. I was hesitant about going to the dentist during the COVID pandemic, however Dr. Askari made me feel completely comfortable and safe (hand sanitizer at front desk, sanitized pens, temperature checks, plexiglass barrier, open door for fresh air etc). If you are weary of the dentist, please be sure to check this practice out, you will not be disappointed!

Dr. Askari is the BEST! Honest, professional, and precise. My family has been going there for 6 years. Every other dentist I went to before told me I needed fillings, crowns; even possibly a root canal. Immediately! Dr. Askari said, continue to floss/clean and you will be fine. Six years later, and not one filling. Unfortunately, this past year my mother passed away, we moved into a house, and we had a child. Good & bad stress. Hence, my teeth were neglected. This past month, I did have to have fillings and one crown (which I knew were my fault). I was nervous, since I hadn't had any work done. And, my previous dentists either left me in pain for days or the bill was excruciating that I was hindered financially. Neither happened! Dr. Askari did everything in 2 days, with the help of her amazing staff, and I was pain free! Also, our bill was large (not a surprise) but reasonable compared to others I had spoken to about what I had done. I feel like I am selling this place but I hope that's not what you perceive. My experience (over the years) have been so positive and I know how hard it is to find a GOOD dentist. I hope my feedback will help. I couldn't recommend Dental Care of Ventura enough. Good luck!

Dr. Askari is hands down the best dentist I have ever had. After 6 years as a patient of hers, I can confidently say that she is professional, highly competent in her field, and extremely personable. Dr. Askari has been an excellent dentist to me and my family for many years. I especially admire her honesty and sensitivity when it comes to older people. This place is amazing. If your like me and dread going to the dentist this is the place you want to go. Everyone here is super friendly they talk to you as they do your procedures and they are usually funny, makes the time go by so much faster. They take the time to answer all your questions and explain to you what is being done to you and why. At least with me this helps my nerves. I have been to some dentist office where they act rude and in a bad mood, here I’ve never had this can’t see me going to any other dentist office.
